also i need to get this off my chest but the fact that momo should logically be 15 rather than her usual 16 and hibiya not having a set in stone age will never make hibimomo ok like im sorry you have rocks in your brain but nothing changes the fact that momo is a highschooler and hibiya is a middle schooler. in no world is a high schooler of any age being romantically involved with a middle schooler not fucking weird, and even if u try the dumbass arguement of a middle schooler and highschooler with a one year age gap, ITS VERY OBVIOUS that hibimomo do not have! a one year age gap!! and like i dont give a fuck abt the fact that jin wants to push hibimomo forward either ok, like he is NOT a perfect writer so fucking far from it like i will disrespect his dumbass decisions just as i will disrespect stupid as shit fans who think people are weird for not being ok with hibimomo. like get real. touch grass. think about your life. think about your family. and get better soon! jfc!!!!

So I don’t know how many of my followers are still active, but I thought I’d just mention that I’m working on two fics that I might actually publish publicly for once: a totally self indulgent Marigami fic for Miraculous Ladybug, and an angsty one for Kagerou Project. It’s Up!

The Marigami / Kagaminette fic is now up, and complete! I’ve uploaded on both fanfiction.net and ao3 as jayru128. The title is Ryuko, Kuroneko, and Tentomushi, and I really hope you enjoy it!

anyway, the main timeframes mentioned in Kagepro tend to be:

“two years ago” / “five years ago” / “ten years ago” -- and then so on and so on

it becomes MUCH EASIER TO UNDERSTAND (CHRONOLOGICALLY) if you "correct” this to “ (ABOUT) [timeframe] ”

i.e. [ABOUT] “ two years ago” - - Ayano jumped off the roof and died (when she was - in her 1st year of high school and, - closer to age 15 per not reaching her later birthday (Nov. 22nd) when the Japanese school year began)

* the Japanese school year begins AROUND APRIL 1ST-2ND and ends around LATE MARCH ** during HaruTaka’s school festival, JUST previous to “two years ago”,

^ Ayano speaking to Takane, who is A WHOLE FULL GRADE ABOVE AYANO. - Jin in 2013 confirmed Ene was “19″, and Ene specifically was intended to be older than Shintaro. - Haruka is in the same grade as Takane, - BUT HIS BIRTHDAY IS NOT UNTIL DECEMBER 24TH. - Haruka dies before he can reach his birthday, during August 15th. - i.e. he dies closer to age 16. - i.e. in main canon he’s closer to age 18 because Takane is 19. - both Haruka + Takane are confirmed to initially die in their 2nd year of high school. compare to Ayano’s “1st” and it’ll become even more clear with this info.

- Ayano was thinking of entering “this [high] school” - “NEXT YEAR” - i.e. she dies in her 1st year of high school, yes. - Shintaro was also entering this school “next year” - but Shintaro is older than Ayano by some months, (i.e. the timeframe gap between April 30 -> November 22nd) (i.e. he’s about 7 months older than her) so, he ages to 18 in main canon [on April 30th] during a time period where Ayano would still be 17 if she was still alive.

- Ayano is confirmed to be a year older/grade above the Mekakushi Trio. - Kano is closest in age to her due to his canon age being 17 -- and his birthday being May 10. - Kido wouldn’t age to 17 until after the main story (August 15) is over; on her birthday, January 2nd. - in main canon, Kido and Seto are still 16 chronologically. - Seto wouldn’t age to 17 until the very end of the Japanese school year. - i.e. right before that, he’s still 16 chronologically. - this is due to his birthday being March 28 -- and older than Momo. - Momo’s powers became even more obvious to her during this time period “two years ago”, as well. (see: all of MCA 02 Momo’s flashbacks)

(when Momo is in middle school, i.e. 8th grade, where she’d have started the grade at 13, NOT 14 * when she is seen in a grey school uniform i.e. during MCA 02, THAT’S HER MIDDLE SCHOOL UNIFORM, NOT A HIGH SCHOOL UNIFORM. in main canon she is in 10th grade.

8th grade is confirmed via novel 6, where Momo appears as a middle schooler i.e. correct grade range despite her INCORRECT CONFLICTING AGE)     (thanks Jin)

ive experienced ship wars (its everywhere, especially in the undertale fandom and its crazy asf) and it gets tiring to know about the fans fighting over relationships. like jESus you dont choose who a person gets to be with unless you are the creator (yes literally.) so fighting over kanokido and hibimomo wont do anything.

because what happens if jin makes both ships canon?

obviously you wont argue with that because... it's jin. he made kagepro. you cant counterclaim his words and decisions.

and honestly, im going to say that yall are biased on others opinions. its getting annoying too. i thought that kagepro was going with those "feel free to express" vibes, but then theres that discourse between hibimomo and kanokido.

if you want, i could even list some facts on how kanokido and hibimomo can be valid. i could do it now too. and besides, if you can ship setomary even tho its "pedophilia" (even tho i believe its not), then theres a validity between these two ships too.

so anyways.

im going to go nuts against anti-kanokidos-and-hibimomos.

kano and kido are childhood friends. incest technically happens only when you have romantic feelings towards a blood relative or a legally adopted relative.

hibiya and momo are technically still "children", even if they have age gaps.

have you actually heard how your grandparents got together? some grandparents might be 2-5 years of age gaps. learn from experience guys.

kano and kido a r e n o t siblings. nor are they legally adopted. they were just assigned to a loving family whom they had for the first time. they are not from the same blood. they have the legal arrangements to have romantic feelings for eachother and to even get married.

momo is still a high school student for christs sake. hibiya is too, probably a grade 7 student. its normal to have a relationship with an age gap of that long.

dont forget that kano and kidos real parents are dead. and neither of them are related to eachother by any means. ayaka fostered them maybe because ayano wanted to be a big sister. she wanted to prove how she can be a good influence to others, thats why they treated ayano as a "big sister".

hibimomo is accepted by JIN. he even likes it more than hibihiyo too. like jesus. dont get too biased with ships. you arent going to be the one making the storyline anyways.

so yeah. kanokido and hibimomo are still valid.

if you think that these arent, then ask your parents about the age gaps of your grandparents and what foster kids are. they are very well not what you think as "incest" and "pedophilia".

I liked putting games on the shinaya bed because they’d be so cute playing games together (even if ayano cannot beat shintaro but heh, what if there’s only one game she destroys him???)

I think Kido wouldn’t like stuff on the bed displayed everywhere so there’s only a few things uwu Mamakido loves when it’s tidy and all <3 on their first nights she wouldn’t wear too light clothes but later... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I'm pretty sure Jin doesn't ship HibiMomo? Like, I don't really hate the ship (but I don't like it either; I prefer HibiHiyo tho I'm also pretty neutral on that. Hibiya's just not shippable for me), but the last novel pushed HibiHiyo. HibiMomo seems more friendshippy for me. Only thing I have to say about this, don't let the haters win!

Hmmm, this is an iffy. I had to ask my friend if she could dig up some tweets made by Jin. I don’t know about now/after MCA, and I am surprised by the HibiHiyo at the end and wondered if Jin switched ship or not.

But back before MCA aired, Jin did ship HibiMomo.

Since people seemed to catch onto my last ask regarding my HibiMomo kids, I just wanted to confirm that, yes, they’re named after cars :’D THE DARK SECRET HAS BEEN REVEALED

Originally these kids were crack kids made on Tomodachi Life so of course I wanted to do something ridiculous. So their names are derived from Toyota, Mitsubishi, and... well Kia (that one is obvious |D) But then these kids ended up becoming “canon” for the kagekid universe and their names had already stuck. So that is the true origin of their names. 

But for the sake of future kagepro story telling we just say Momo didn’t know what to name her child so she would just look around trying to think of something. Then one day as they’re driving they’re behind a Toyota, the name Toyo sticks out from it and she’s so excited she found a name she likes that she doesn’t even realize that she got the name from a car of all things.

Fic stuff

So huh, I got more attention than I expected, so I’ll go through my ideas and general process. I’m planning on making a tag just for my writing and I’ll make a sideblog just for official update stuff since my main’ll be flooded with shitposts. I’ll keep that post pinned in case more people see it. 

My Kagerou Project fic is basically just me going hm... how do I make Shintaro suffer by making Ayano disappear again in the future? I wanted more future Mekakushi Dan shenanigans, and this is just an excuse for that pretty much. Basically Shintaro is a teacher in this universe, when he is suddenly transported to a timeline where no one remembers Ayano and she doesn’t exist. Neither does everyone’s abilities. Azami plays a bigger role in this. He’ll alternate between the two timelines to try to get everyone to remember and bring Ayano back. 

My Marigami fic is so fluffy and self indulgent. I didn’t want to write Adrien much so he’s now living with his cousin Felix de Vanily after Gabriel Agreste is charged with parental neglect. However, he hands his miraculous to Kagami, who meets Marinette and learns the ropes as Kuroneko, the new black cat holder. I’d like to have her join the miraculous class and have some fun kwami swap shenanigans. Also Lukadrien will happen because Adrien joins Luka’s band. There will be many tender fencing moments. 

Once I get further along, I’ll likely start posting consistently to fanfiction and AO3, but for now, I’ll be posting on this new sideblog, reblog everything I have so far, post some other writing I have, and maybe post some doodles and excerpts. Hope you’re looking forward to it!

Progress Report

I’m proud to say I’m almost done with the Marigami fic, and have a good amount of progress for the KagePro fic as well! The Marigami fic has about 6500 words so far, and I plan to have it end with Kagami joining the Miraculous class after a big fight with Hawkmoth and Mayura! More heroes will be involved. I may also have a dating epilogue including the results of a sparring match between Ladybug and Kagami’s mother. Hope you’re looking forward to it. I’m a little more than halfway done with the Kagepro fic, and I have many more fic ideas moving forward, thanks to a sudden explosion of inspiration around 3 am, so I don’t think I’ll run out of ideas anytime soon. I have at least 25 ideas listed, including many anime crossovers, Line Webtoons, novel series, and games. Let me know if you ever want to see more of my ideas! My next post will likely be about my fics finally being up, so see you then!
