So, I have to admit that I am having a BLAST writing and drawing Dandy & Bernard for this story. And yes, if you're curious, there is an ulterior motive. After years of being on hiatus, I have been reborn.

A story I’ve been working on secretly for the last 4 years is now live. Every few months when I was in need of returning to the world of fanfiction, I would reread what I’ve been slowly adding to for the past few years. Finally after rereading the series again after way too long, my passion which is living deep inside is resurfacing. My love for this series never dwindled, it just was replaced with the reality of living as an adult with bills to pay. Now here I am bringing back my love for the series in the expression of a new fanfic.

A classic in the hunger games fanfiction community- a pregnant Katniss and a hijacked Peeta.

A growing back together fanfic which shows the lengths Katniss goes through to help Peeta come back to her or at least their unborn child. After Katniss and Peeta’s one night stand the night of the Quarter Quell announcement, a baby was created. It takes place the night Peeta is rescued from the Capitol, but had flashbacks to that night of the Quell announcement. It will also have flashbacks to moments where Katniss tells Peeta about the baby and during the Quell. Rated M for mature content.

Ok...is it just me? I just went to the poetry tag so I can find some new poets to reblog and get them some exposure. I'd say about 50% of the posts are just garbled nonsense posts that are meant to look like poetry...they just make no sense. Like..."the warm standard of a bitten cardinal can't run to the piggly wiggly in underwear" sort of crazy??? Is this a new trend in poetry that I have just missed??? Do you think hijacked Peeta fell out of love with Katniss? Or did he hate her/was afraid of her but still loved her? Is post hijacked Peeta the same Peeta or a new person altogether?

Lol. I read the question to my sister. She argued that yes! Peeta didn’t love Katniss when he attacked her. I responded that it was mutt Peeta and he was fed with lies to attack the fake mutt Katniss. She then said that even though he wasn’t himself he didn’t feel love for her in his hijacked state. We were on and on with arguments haha I tried to maintain my position that he still loved her way deep ;) and my sister that he didn’t.

Then I realized that if Peeta did stop loving her at some point he felt in love with Katniss again. It’s it romantic? Tragic but romantic. There’s some sort of beauty in tragic💘 And because of that I will say Yes! MuttPeeta full of lies didn’t love Katniss (the fake mutt version of her). Peeta had to fight back to Katniss.

With time and recovered memories I believe that yes! Peeta is the same Peeta before hijacking.

Ohhh I definitely need to do a research more about how the psicological and emotional state and trauma that Peeta went through affected him. How the brain works and everything.

I would pick up the book and reread the key parts of his hijacked but my brain is drained from an exam and I don’t have the time 😅 knowing myself I wouldn’t stop reading there hahaha

My old account wouldn’t let me reset the password so it is now under the same username as my tumblr. I have uploaded the next chapter and have been on a writing binge that I have unexpectedly done something I didn’t expect to happen.

It’s hard because I love following in the footsteps of the book in terms of timing and who dies, but for the first time I’m actually considering maybe not sticking to the books final thoughts or events. I don’t know. We shall see.
