The amulets on her dress visibly resembling chains as wrap around her. Her arm held at such an awkward angle, as well as her legs, like she’s off kilter or not quite working, or reaching out and holding herself back at the same time.

And the dark and light circles behind in the backgrounds - ripples in water, like overlapping changes to the timelines or various worlds, or the reservoir water that loves her so much, or even a callback to the Cardcaptor Sakura symbolism. And oh the pattern they fall in, a curved line with Sakura as the centre of it all, the focal point of absolutely everything happening everywhere at once.

It’s gorgeous it’s tragic it’s heartbreaking I love it!

so… have I watched the second season of good omens yet? no.

have I reread the book, so that I can have a proper conversation with a beloved mutual (who’s planning to read it), if she wants? YES.

have I fallen head over heels in love with the book again in the process of rereading? … yeeeeaaaah …

the appearances of the lads are obviously not the show’s ones, though I’m sure some things are similar — those half a dozen (at least) rewatches of s1 were bound to leave some traces in my brain)) but i really wanted to take those hints from the book and combine them with what I remember imagining when I was first reading the book (like, a few years before the show was announced). and I did sorta do that, which was super fun, cause even then I wanted so desperately to draw everyone from this book how I saw them, but the skill… well, it’s a bit better now, so yeeessss, here you go, baby me, one little wish fulfilled!! but also the designs got away from me a bit, I just started to have fun with them. it isn’t so visible in this piece, but already quite clear in some of my sketches))

those two always used one excuse or the other to not face each other, they had so many chances to try to kill each other and yet they couldn't until the very last moment, so nope. Geto would've wanted to bring back Gojo to the right path or convince him to give up but wouldn't have killed him, just like how Gojo Satoru the strongest couldn't.

Steve never really thought about Eddie being ripped until he invited him over to his house to move some boxes that were lying around. Everything was normal, they chatted, ate some snacks, and moved the boxes as planned. In the process of doing that Steve mentioned that he works better without his shirt because it made him feel like he was being restrained, Eddie followed that up by saying he felt the same way.

Both of them removed their shirts in unison and tossed the fabric to the side. Steve glanced at Eddie quickly before he fully focused on the abs that were glistening with sweat and his bulging biceps that flexed naturally. Steve almost let out an audible gasp at the sight of Eddie’s muscles.

“Oh my god.” Steve blurted out without thinking. Eddie looked at him with a worried expression.

“What? Did I do something wrong?” Eddie asked while turning his body towards Steve, now he had a full visual of Eddie’s body. His eyes darted all over the place.

“N-no no! You’re fine… i mean not fine in that way, you’re good. That’s what I meant ugh- I’m sorry I don’t know what I’m saying.” Steve laughed nervously as his face started to heat up. Luckily Eddie laughed along and he didn’t notice Steve turning into a blushing mess.

“You’re crazy, Harrington.” Eddie said before continuing to lift up the box that was in front of him. Steve couldn’t help but stare at him the entire time and just watch him put his muscles to work. He must’ve been staring for a long time because randomly Eddie just started smirking.

“My eyes are up here, Steve.” Eddie joked. Steve looked away immediately already feeling his entire body burning up.

Steve made a mental note that next time he asked for Eddie’s help all clothes had to be on for his sake!
