When Jace finally rolls over into a more relaxed position and sees Porter he just gives him the most exhausted, frowny look and asks for a back rub and Porter obliges once it clicks into place for him. I think the red hair pirates would be obsessed with S-Hawk too! Especially the main group who've known Mihawk through his teenage marine hunting phase.

Benn would know they are walking on thin ice but look at him! He’s a little baby Mihawk! Look at his little uniform shirt tucked into his little shorts. Every angry and threatening expression s-hawk could make would mean nothing to a crew that has seen the real thing live and in color. It would just be adorable like look at his little frown! His glare! The threat of disembodiment in his eyes! Adorable

Mihawk is very uncomfortable with how much the red hair pirates fawn over and adore what is essentially a manufactured baby him. But yet also somehow touched? By it. He’ll kill everyone and then himself before he admits it tho

Yasopp, who actually did know a shorter 19 year old Mihawk, would ask him if he was that adorable but tiny (still can't comprehend that the seraphim are infact giant) as a child and if he had any pictures, and Mihawk almost takes his head.

Everything you want, that you once took for granted is right there in front of you, you can see it you can reach for it but you can never have it. You will never attain it on your own. Your fate is dependent on the mercy or cruelty of others and you hate it and you rage against it but you can’t do anything, your defiance is treated like nothing but a childish tantrum but you refuse to beg, you won’t get that desperate no matter how long you’re trapped here, no matter how low you’re brought down. You stand among humans and you look human but you’re not, you’re an animal in a cage with them and you’re the only one who can see the bars. Gnawing and hacking at them to no avail. And yet all you can do is wait and hope and try and fail in an endless loop until an outside force interferes to free you from your prison. The carrot and the stick. About the repost on the "rape as a response to domestic violence" thing...I don't know. I've never experienced this is any kind of way, but the idea of rape as a *reaction* is iffy to me. Like, to me, rape is a very clear CHOICE of action. It's telling that Ashley waited until he was drunk off his mind to do anything bout it, and even then... She could have done something else? Beat him up? Kidnap him again? Bring him back to demon realm forever? No. Exsert the maximum amount of control and disrespect of his choices by violating him. And arguably taking away the chance of him getting something he truly wanted, which was having a meaningful physical connection with her. Which she tainted. I mean he literally says "not like this". He probably had an image of how the first time they were intimate was gonna be, and she literally destroyed it forever for him, which obviously isn't the worst ramification of fucking raping her drunk brother, but it's just sad to think about.

I hope I could be clear. I have a lot of thoughts on it, I hate both those endings, my mind gets kinda jumbled when thinking on it.

you’re right. rape is indeed a very clear choice of action and not a reaction, and that’s what sets it apart from physical violence. nobody reacts with rape. andrew’s violence is a reaction to ashley’s abuse, the rape ashley inflicts on him is not.

i will always leave it at that. i refuse to entertain any deeply uncomfortable line of thinking where ashley sexually assaulting andrew can be justified, where rape is a reasonable response to his actions, because her decision to rape andrew has nothing to do with him and everything to do with her.
