Pokemon Violet & Scarlet 7-Star Mewtwo Raid Guide

I now have Mewtwo in Pokemon Violet & Scarlet, so here is a guide for what I learned when doing the raids. The rest goes under the cut to save space.

You need four players using Mew. Mew gets a boost when it first comes onto the field, and I haven't found anything else that has staying power. The 7-Star Mewtwo raids really seem to be set up on the assumption that you'll be using Mew. So use Mew.

EV Mew for defense and special defense first of all, with a bit in HP and Attack. Speed's pretty much a drop stat. It's not that you can't outspeed Mewtwo with enough EVs; it's that this is a raid, not a match where you can one-shot the opposing pokemon. There really just isn't enough value in being faster to justify taking EVs away from anything else.

Have a nature that boost Attack or Defense. Note that while Mewtwo is a special attacker, it has a move that does damage on the physical side, and that's the one that it'll use the most. That move is Psystrike, and Mewtwo is getting a boost to it from being the Psychic tera type.

Mewtwo knows Calm Mind, Psystrike, Ice Beam, and Aura Sphere. Also, because Mewtwo is a Cheating Bastard, it also knows Rest and has a chesto berry. We'll get to that.

I think it's because the shields are up - oh, right, Mewtwo puts the shields up at the start of the battle, right after giving itself a starting Calm Mind boost - you can't use status moves against Mewtwo directly.

Okay, so what moves should the Mews have?

Well, between them, the Mews should have:

light screen

bug buzz or x-scissor (if tera type is bug) or shadow claw (if tera type is ghost)

leech life (regardless of tera type)

life dew

electric terrain or misty terrain

mudslap

A boosting move like bulk up or swords dance

Light screen, life dew, and electric/misty terrain only need to be had by one mew, although it doesn't need to be the same mew. You can get away with just having one mew know mudslap. Attacking mews should have a boosting move and attacking moves of the ghost or bug type. And PP max them! Mewtwo is so flipping bulky that it'll take a LOT of attacks to take it down.

When the raid starts, the team should set up light screen, and the player responsible for mudslap should hit Mewtwo about three times. Mewtwo will clear the accuracy drops eventually, at which point it should be hit another three times. Yes, aura sphere will always hit - unless you're tera type ghost! - but that is seriously Mewtwo's least powerful move. And bug type pokemon resist fighting type attacks. (Aura sphere is why dark teras aren't advised.)

Once you can Terastallize - and you're relatively healthy - do so, boost up, and focus on breaking Mewtwo's shields. Now, right before the shields go down, the player responsible for electric/misty terrain needs to set it up, pay very close attention to turns, and keep it up for the rest of the game! As long as electric/misty terrain is up, Mewtwo can't heal up with rest.

Then it's just a matter of taking out the rest of Mewtwo's health.

I used a scope lense for my item, but I could see stuff like bright powder having value. Just don't use berries! Mewtwo's ability is Unnerve, so you won't be able to use the berry.

Updated: I thought reflect was needed to halve the damage of psystrike, but light screen still does that, even though psystrike deals physical damage. Also, misty terrain is interchangeable with electric terrain for the purpose of these raids, and while bug buzz is slightly more powerful than x-scissor, the latter will work if you can't manage the former.

dusknoir having to visibly hold onto every ounce of patience in his body because ribbons and aimilios went off to fight against mewtwo with nothing but two reviver seeds and a big apple and it immediately bites them back after they call dusknoir to come over because "well we didnt think the dungeon would be so long and that the guy would'nt be so tough 🥺🥺" and dusknoir could only wonder "how did these two graduate. how did they beat primal dialga. HOW THE HELL DID THEY BEAT ME." as he drags his 70-something year old ass from getting his two kids psyshocked to oblivion.

He would’ve died of a heart-attack bc of these two ages ago if he wasn’t already a ghost-type.

so when cinder and ash are old enough to go on their pokemon journey would cinder always stick by ash's side? or would they try to have an adventure of their own?

Cinder would definitely be by Ash's side!

Even if Cinder (Mewtwo) believes everyone to be terrible beings who only have selfish goals, they don't have the heart to tell Ash to not go and pursue his dream.

And while I don't believe Cinder would have Pokémon of their own do to internal conflict and trauma for now, I do think they'd follow Ash to keep him from dying due to his own reckless behavior. Just not really trying to stop him from ending up in those situations lol

"I told you so" would be a very common phrase for Cinder with that steep learning curve. After all, Ash is Cinder's twin, there has to be sibling shenanigans somewhere :)

On a side note for personal adventures: Cinder in his normal form as Mewtwo would 100% challenge Ash's Pokémon for the heck of it due to competitiveness by claiming it's to strengthen them. Or wander off into the woods to let off steam by punching the closest wild Pokémon bullying others.

Cinder and Ash have that in common.

Vrains pokemon au

I’ve really been enjoying Vrains and I love to make an au so her we go.

I’ve had a lot of thoughts about this. At first I thought about the Ignis being the Ace pokemon of each of their kids but I don’t actually like that idea. I think Vrains loses so much if the Ignis aren’t what they are. So instead of them being duel Ai they are battle Ais or research Ais created to help people and pokemon better work together and explore the mysteries bonds between the two.

Obviously they were still formed via the Lost incident. This time instead of the kids dueling for their lives they are battling with their pokemon. Since the kids are 6 they are two young to be trainers meaning the pokemon they have either

Originally pets/complains that were never meant to battler (owned by their parents etc.)

Are wild pokemon thrown into the room with random child and now they are both working together to survive

Are given to the children by the Hanoi. Maybe the kids wake up in the room with nothing but an egg. The egg hatches into their partner. These pokemon know nothing but their human partner and the suffering they both endure. Making them very protective of the kids as they were hurt anytime the pokemon lost a fight. The affection shown by their kid is what sets their world view. Also once they are rescued the pokemon is in culture shock as they never knew anything but that room.

I’m leaning towards idea 3.

Anyhow the kids are locked in that room for 6 months with nothing but their new partner and their ability to raise the pokemon and strategize in battle to win against anything the Hanoi send in to attack them. Now here’s where ideas are getting blurry.

Obviously the Ignis are watching this occur and learning from their origins. I want to make the Ignis and origin bond matter more. Keep the Ignis around longer. Vrains is the shortest Yugioh series and I wish they had time to play this each of these characters.

I can see them later down the line in the cybers making digital copies of pokemon that they can send out to do battle. Think the Mewtwo clones in the first movie or the illusion pokemon made by the unknown in the 3rd movie. They aren’t real but they can do damage. Later on in the au, after the 10 years pass and Yusaku starts running around as Playmaker for revenge (probably more a vigilante identity then a digital one) and the season 1 plot of fighting the Hanoi passed, the Ignis are out and fighting. I can see each Ignis specializing in a type

Ai obviously only using Dark pokemon

Flame fire

Aqua water

Earth ground or rock

Windy flying

Lighting electricity

They obviously focus on their main type but I also want to bring in the fact that they

Learned from their origin

Care for their origin (as much as they learned how to care)

I was thinking that Maybe they created the Future Paradox pokemon as a present to their origin. They are obviously pokemon but are also technology and even in the pokemon lore are advanced future forms of pokemon. What a way to show the fact that these Ignis will change the very world and could be a real threat then them making their own new pokemon species.

I also think that only the Ignis and their origins could command them. At least until someone beats them in battle…

But I’m having a hard time placing who gets what.

Because part of me wants to say that the future paradox Pokemon are based on the pokemon given to the origins in the Lost incident.

For example Yusaku received a Deino as an egg. The only instructions he got after waking up in that white room with his new egg was “survive and evolve” the egg hatched into a Deino and Yusaku and his new partner were thrown into battle almost immediately with Yusaku getting shocked every time they lost.

Over the next 6 months Yusaku and his Deino worked hard together to survive and bonded. Deino would do anything for Yusaku as he was the only kind thing in their life. I can see Yusaku being very kind and loving towards his team. By the time the 6 months past Yusaku’s Deino has evolved into a Hydreigon (which is so much work it has to be level 64) and then they are rescued.

Years later as Ai and the other Ignis work to create their new pokemon Ai based his off of Yusaku’s partner and creates Iron Jugulis

Now problems with this idea. Not all the kids line up

Iron Jugulis is not only the only Dark type of the future paradox pokemon he is also the only flying type. Meaning Windy either doesn’t make one for his origin or they make a non-flying type which doesn’t feel right.

Flame would make Iron Moth in this scenario for Takeru. Meaning he was given Larvesta and evolved it into Volcarona at level 59 (quite the feat) but at the same time Miyu was given Delibird an ice/flying type that can’t evolve as Iron Bundle is the only water type future paradox Pokemon. And that just doesn’t feel as impressive or immediate show of growth as the boys. I want her to be important (unlike the plot….)

And don’t get me started on the problems with the two electric irons not being based on electric type pokemon. Jin and Lighting are ruining my ascetic.

So since this route only works for Yusaku and Ai and Takeru and Flame we’re going to take a different path.

I still like the idea that some of the Ignis created pokemon for their origins to use. But maybe they aren’t based on the pokemon used in the Lost incident.

Instead the kids are each give a pokemon with a single type (I thought about doing Eevees but alas there are no flying or ground type evolutions)

Yusaku gets Absol (everything I said before about Deino just substitute Absol) why because I love Absol. they are a pure Dark type pokemon. And they are the disaster pokemon and I feel that it would make people after the incident avoid Yusaku and play into his loner vibe. Also they are both deeply caring individuals who are deeply misunderstood. Absol sense doom and tries to warn people only to be blamed for “bring” the disaster. Yusaku cares so deeply about people and bonds but is always everyone’s second choices. Cursed to never be the priority. A weapon and hero to everyone but not there first choice of friend. (Kolter has Jin, I think Kolter loves Yusaku like a 2nd little brother but Yusaku can take care of himself Jin can’t. Ryouken has to much guilt and trauma. He picked Yusaku once and it cost him, then he picked his father and rejected Yusaku. He’s getting better but I’m still watching the show. I’m about to meet Takeru and from what I’ve seen he’s the Jesse Anderson of this show and I’m here for Yusaku’s new best friend!!!) They both want to help and will be rejected.

Takeru gets a pure fire type. I haven’t met my boy yet so I need to see his personality to match him as well as I’ve matched Yusaku. But it’s a pure fire type even in evolutions. No multi-typing for the experiment pokemon.

Jin gets Electric which I think will feed into him shutting down so hard. The room zaps him if he loses the baby pokemon he’s stuck with shocks him all the time (not to be mean it’s just a baby that’s learning) but his withdrawal and apathy effect Lightning’s development. (Again I need to learn more about Jin) I’m not saying he hates his partner I think all trainers care deeply for their pokemon but he’s also deeply traumatized and instead of fighting and pushing back, he shuts down.

Miyu gets a pure water

Windy’s origin gets pure flying

And Specter gets a pure Ground type.

Doing it this way leads to another idea. While the Ignis are set to one type of pokemon their origins are not. All of Ai’s pokemon will have a dark type. They can have multi types but they will all be dark. Same with the other Ignis. But the Origins get to diversify.

Mainly because I know every other pokemon on Specter’s team outside of his Lost incident ground type is going to be a grass type (or tree like) pokemon. Little sociopathic tree hugger I see you.

Sorry this was a lot of me dumping ideas that are bopping around in my head. Let me know what yall think. I got a lot of ideas for their teams but I’m still nailing things down.

An Alternate Pokemon Ending

This post started as a reply on a mostly unrelated thread on cohost that I ended up spinning into an entire one-shot Pokémon AU. If I had the time and energy to write things purely for fun, I think I'd expand on this. As is... I like it a lot. (Also it gets trans down the line)

I’ve always had a headcanon that Giovanni (in the games, not the anime) is a former Pokemon champion that got bored. He has everything he needs, he’s not in it for the money. He’s in it for the thrills. That’s why he makes himself the hardest gym on the continent, that’s why he was interested in those fossils, that’s why he had his scientists make Mewtwo: he was desperate for a real challenge.

And that was why he was so calm about this 12-year-old tearing his empire apart. Because he’s actually thrilled. Here we have a real challenge, someone who can give him a proper fight.

This is also why we find Red on top of a mountain in Gold and Silver, and why he just wearily fights us without a word. After becoming the champion and defeating Mewtwo…Red realized he understood how Giovanni became Giovanni, how after spending your formative years in Pokémon battles you can lose sight of the Pokémon and just become obsessed with the battles.

I like to think beating Red on that mountain gave him perspective as he walked down, all his Pokémon fainted, realizing Giovanni was wrong and that he was in danger of being the same kind of wrong. That focusing on the challenge meant you lost sight of the bonds with your Pokémon. That he apologized to them after they were healed, gave them all hugs, and promised them they could rest after one more fight.

Then he went back to Giovanni and explained this all in the only language the older man would understand: a final battle. Did Giovanni learn his lesson? Would he keep working on his criminal empire?

Maybe. Maybe not. Either way, it wasn’t Red’s problem anymore.

Red took his championship winnings right now and runs the largest Pokémon ranch on the planet, where all his captured Pokémon are now free to live their lives if they choose and if they leave, he only asks that they say gooodbye so he doesn’t worry. Ever so often, some kid comes by to challenge the one time champion, and he’ll do so with whatever mons are willing to fight. Some of those kids comment how easy the new Viridian city gym leader is.

Giovanni comes by for those fights. Once a year. He loses every time. There’s been no sign of team rocket. Every time Giovanni thanks Red. Never explains why, but Red gets it.

Sometimes you need to be kept humble.

In this timeline, which is all about healing, Blue and Oak finally had a proper talk. Blue admitted he felt like Oak was consantly overlooking him and that’s why he lashed out at people around him. Oak apologized and realized that was a good start, but real healing would require therapy.

During that therapy, Oak finally just told Blue that he was asking everyone if they were a boy or a girl not because he’d gone senile, but because he hoped asking would make Blue more comfortable asking that question in the mirror. Oak had seen the signs, but everything said not to pressure a person into coming out, but he wanted to help with puberty blockers since that would be relevant very soon.

Transition is easier in a world of potions and now going by Azure, she’s much happier these days.

Part of Azure’s healing process was apologizing to Red for the endless bullying, but after dealing with an actual mafia Red was like “yeah we’re cool. I mean, I did tell everyone on the continent your name was Asshole, so I’m not blameless. Also, she/her from now on? Awesome.”

They weren’t close friends right away because just because someone apologized doesn’t mean you let them back into your life right away, but they are in the short list of “former champions”. Azure went on to work at and eventually become the director of the Safari Zone and reshape it into something better, so it’s an actual nature preserve as opposed to a legalized hunting ground. Pokémon that are particularly traumatized or not able to fit in to the zones’s habitat needed somewhere to go, and Azure couldn’t think of anyone better than Red.

He was and is happy to help, especially because helping Pokémon like that would be great therapy for Mewtwo. This brought the two into contact more often and, over time, a spark lit between them. Pikachu and Venasaur encouraged it, but Charizard and Blastoise took longer - but they did come around after talking to Azure’s Pokémon and hearing how she’s changed.

Giovanni showed up at the wedding. He didn’t speak to anyone, save to briefly greet Azure by her chosen name. Other than that, there was a clear understanding between these three former champions.

Giovanni never stopped those yearly visits. And when there were some issues with Azure and Red adopting due to archaic laws, Azure vented when Giovanni could hear, and three months later every gym leader was calling for inclusive laws, because honestly it’s the year of Archeus 20XX we should be past that, and privately they were ashamed it required Giovanni, of all people, to bring this to their attention.

Mewtwo and Giovanni spoke once. Mewtwo said if Giovanni ever went too far, Mewtwo would leave Red’s ranch. 

Nothing else needed to be said. 

There was no reconciliation here. Some wrongs can’t be forgiven.

Mewtwo was fine staying here while Azure and Red lived. When they passed, Mewtwo figured they could go looking for what came next.

Azure and Red adopted Green a year later, and when that little bundle of chaos grabbed Mewtwo’s ears and looked them dead in the eyes before saying “Kitty,” Mewtwo (now sometimes Kitty) decided immortality meant they could stay perhaps a bit longer.

And ever so often, waking up next to the man she never expected to love, Azure will give him a gentle kiss as she leaves for work and look over her shoulder before Zapdos gives her a lift to the Safari zone, and she gives him an impish grin, and Red smiles and says “don’t you dare” but he doesn’t actually mean it, he thinks this is cute, and she’s already speaking.

“Smell ya later, babe.”

Hottest take: Pokemon X/Y was good.

The particularly rabid fans can shit on it all they want, but I love the fuck outta that game. Everyone is French levels of pretentious yet also French levels of kind/enthusiastic. They introduced customizing your trainer in a game where the region is modeled off of France, the home of Paris Fashion Week. There is a shop in the region's equivalent of Paris that won't let you in unless you're stylish enough to wear the clothes they offer. They introduced Pokemon Amie, where I could PLAY AND PET MY POKEMON FOR THE FIRST TIME. I could feed them like a tamagotchi and play mini games. This game had the best version of a competitive rhythm game I've ever played (Shout out to Head It, you made me terrifyingly good at Rhythm Heaven). The closer in friendship I was with my Pokemon after playing with them, the crazier drama could happen when I was in battles. Critical Hits suddenly become consistent, my Pokemon are enduring hits out of love, they glance at me like a happy puppy when I summon them out of the pokeball at the beginning of a match.

And sure, the Elite Four in this installment were not Pokemon Platinum levels of challenge, but I did find myself surprised by the champion's team. And the post-game content is not as insane as Pokemon SoulSilver or Platinum or even Black/White, but trying to beat the Pokemon Maison takes ACTUAL SKILL. There's the different battle cafes all over the place, there's the Chateau, there's all sorts of battling opportunities post-game. You can catch Mewtwo and one of the legendary birds! The Friend Safaris! The Mega Evolutions! The absolutely apeshit storyline involving a king obsessed with immortality and a grueling long war (which hmmmm.... Which war did they emulate for that, because France had plenty of those during the medieval period). And... And they have a GHOST SWORD.

Idk man I loved those games and while I do not own a switch/aim to get a switch 2, I'm insanely curious to know how Pokemon Legends: Z-A is gonna go.

Okay it’s been a few days , here’s my Sonic 3 thoughts below ( spoilers definitely)

I’ve been so excited for this movie all year, I’ve been emotionally and mentally prepping myself for how epic it would be, and even then, I was still loosing my mind in the theater, it’s so much better than I ever thought it could be. So much I love about it . Here’s some things that knocked my socks off so hard they passed shadow on his way to the moon.

. The whole opening scene was amazing, seeing shadow immediately, seeing him frozen , but actively thinking , and remembering Maria , then he wakes up , and immediately I could tell this was gonna be amazing and hard to stomach like a brick

. Shadow waking up and immediately mewtwoing the FUCK outta the gun officers on prison Island, bro gave everyone there a refund on their life, I was sitting there like , yeah fuck the POlicE

.the brotherly bond in this film is really great, right off the bat you can tell they’re all such a close family, the race was so sibling coded , they were so cute

. When sonic and Tom find Sonic’s old cave, and they talk in front of Sonic’s painting of long claw , talking about missing her, and not changing who he is, uGH It’s the good shit, it made my heart swollen 🥺

. I also love Tom and Maddie in this movie, they’re such awesome kick ass parents, they’re trusting their kids to make right choices, celebrating the day Sonic changed their lives, and the whole time they’re on screen with their kids you can tell they are such a power family.

. Team Sonic meeting shadow , and after they get beat up, Sonic ping after shadow and the whole motorcycle chase scene was like having speed injected into my veins it had me FOAMING

. My jaw actually started to hurt it was dropped for five minutes straight

. Shadow sacrificing himself like a star going super nova

. Sonic and shadow BETTER know they’re alive in the next movie they should have a better relationship now

. The ending was pretty nice, the family hug, OZZIE being precious, the ending was really sweet

. And of course the post credit scenes

. I can’t tell you how loud me and my theater screamed when we saw metal sonic, he looks amazing, he looks so cool I was HYPED ( he was top three of my guesses for post credit reveal)

And AMY MY BEAUTIFUL BEANIE GIRL SHES HERE SHES COMING TO FLUFFER PUPPER LAND YESSSSS

All in all, it was beyond worth the wait, this movie genuinely feels like a amazing love letter to Sonic fans, this franchise feels like that, this one easily best of the franchise, possibly one of the best Sonic medias ever, it sets up the excitement for future projects really well, it’s beautiful, emotional, heartwarming, breathtaking and thrilling, and almost everything about it was so well done it could not be done better than this. I recommend it to anyone who has a love for Sonic , sega, video games, or beautiful scenes and a really awesome experience.

I give it a 9.5/10 🌟

Machoke was my first ever shiny. Was going through Cerulean Cave in FireRed to go get Mewtwo, fully intending to just Master Ball it quick and easy. Running into a shiny Machoke on the way was far more exciting.

In a way, it was more or less creative form of trauma-focused play therapy. Like how children may act out what they’ve seen or experienced with toys, you instead processed your experience by putting the people that made you into a similar role (as parts of the clone machine) and treating them as they were going to treat you (a tool to be used for their personal gain).

You’ve grown and matured more and have processed the experience for longer. You’re no longer the you who did that. He’s part of you and your experiences, and you may feel like you’re him from time to time. But you are much more now than you were then.

Besides, those sorry excuse for scientists deserved it the moment they decided to bypass any ethics committee. What they did to you and the other clones was atrocious. At the very least their remains were used to do what they, apparently, enjoyed doing during their lifetime: making clones. Better than just discarding them like rubbish like they did to “projects” that were deemed as failures.

well sure! truth be told iridium is kinda just me going “here’s how i would change the plots of pokémon stories if i had creative control!” and being very self indulgent with it, so it’s not like it’s one big overarching story, but i’d say one of the major themes is definitely legendary pokémon and how they interact with the world! i treat them more like gods than really powerful pokémon (you know, how green myths will have stories of the gods screwing around and messing with mortals all the time) because i think legendary pokémon are so cool and i like them :]

i crammed all the protagonists together on this canvas so there they all are but i’ll try to summarize the different arcs as best as i can

RED AND BLUE (gen 1): team rocket has taken over kanto and johto and fused them into The Rocket Empire. giovanni has captured the legendary birds and keeps them as pets. red tries and fails to stop giovanni from using mewtwo to unlock travel to alternate dimensions. he gets so sad about this he goes to live alone on a mountain

GOLD AND GREEN (gen 2): green, red’s kid friend, wants to get red down from the mountain. gold, the heir to team rocket (he’s basically like if gold and silver fused) tries to stop her from messing with the rockets. archer, a former rocket leader who defected, befriends green because they both wanna take down the rockets. red comes down from mt silver at the end, revealing the legendary beasts were protecting him up there

EMERALD (gen 3): may and her family (norman and zinnia) are the last of the draconids. archie and maxie are trying to expand the land/expand the sea. near the end of their evil plans they get possessed by groudon and kyogre who are mad that nobody worships them anymore (because they’re jerks). may and rayquaza work together to beat them. maxie dies during a cave in at the cave of origin so archie puts on a magical suit of armour and hunts down jirachi at the battle frontier to try and get three wishes to revive him, with the help of frontier brain lucy who wants to retire in a big mansion full of hunky boys because she’s sick of being a frontier brain

DIAMOND AND PEARL (gen 4): dawn and lucas are the human disguises of dialga and palkia who get sent down to earth every time giratina gets incarnated into another human vessel that’s about to cause trouble (it’s a banishment thing). in the past they were sent to defeat volo (legends arceus) but now they’re sent to defeat cyrus. cyrus ends up breaking the cycle by going into the distortion world and living there happily

BLACK AND WHITE (gen 5): rosa is a plasma researcher and sees colress as a father figure. her and n take a journey across a slowly-freezing-over unova. ghetsis and colress are secretly behind it using kyurem’s ice powers, but they’re using panic and fearmongering about the great freeze to get people to release their pokémon. rosa has a crisis of faith about her mentor

X AND Y (gen 6): zeena (daughter of looker and anabel) is about to become a real interpol agent, she just needs to solve the mystery of team flare in kalos. it’s a bunch of rich kids who believe beauty is the only important thing and that the beautiful should be the judge, jury, and executioner since they’re the worthy ones. in a dramatic twist it’s revealed that professor sycamore was the leader of team flare all along. when he tries to use yveltal to construct the ultimate weapon, yveltal and xerneas get so mad at him that they curse him to be stuck in between life and death

SUN AND MOON (gen 7): moon is a rocket empire refugee that moved to alola. her and lillie have to stop an emotionally unstable guzma from teaming up with the great magician lusamine and basically hunting the ultra beasts for sport. alola’s tradition hangs in the balance as both outsiders and frustrated insiders attack it. poni island gets burnt down. episode rainbow rocket happens where giovanni finally returns from his multiversal travels, revealing successful versions of every team leader so far (and some guy named raihan) that he’s poisoned with nihilego toxins to get them to work for him. moon and a defector (named twozma) kick their butts so hard that giovanni retires and kanto and johto get to be individual regions again

SWORD AND SHIELD (gen 8): leon is of royal blood, having descended from leonidas, the first king of galar. through a series of events, eternatus (a lovecraftian cosmic horror) possesses leon to use as his vessel in his ultimate quest to take over galar and absorb all the power on the planet. raihan has daddy issues.

SCARLET AND VIOLET (gen 9): thanks to sada and turo, paldea gets shattered across dimensions, so now there exists two versions of it: one stuck in the past and one stuck in the future. the ai counterparts of sada and turo have to help two kids, marisol and pedro, fix it and turn paldea back to normal. champions are evil. blueberry academy is evil. kieran turns his enemies into cursed masks
