A bit ago I was looking through the g1 timeline wiki and I saw that Skyfire and Starscream now had a 5 million year old age gap and I was like oh? That makes their dynamic so much more interesting especially how innocent he was portrayed in fire in the sky, I also wanted to share my hc on why Skyfire never brought up Starscream again

I think Mr. Milchick is super into the power he has over severed employees and that's why he puts in so, so much effort. the reason he doesn't seem like a zealot is because he isn't one, that's not his motivation in his commitment to Lumon, I think he loves ruling over his little kingdom and I think he loves toying with the severed employees, being friendly and charming and playing around with them only to instantly withdraw and go cold again once the scheduled fun interlude is over. it's deliberate tyranny disguised as professionalism and I think he'd rather die than give up that power, which is why he did so much in this latest episode-- he wanted to make sure he kept his access to and authority over the severed floor, and he'll do anything he needs to do to keep that position.

i cant go back to that life man
#every time i think im out they pull me back in <- was in pokeask for 5+ years#i knew what i was getting into playing pmd and the temptation to start another ask blog is overwhelming#but i also knw i absolutely dont have the energy to keep it going for at least 6 months LOL. at some point it eventually feels more#like an obligation and it feels draining. maybe ill do it again at some point but when i learn how to manage my expectations#also everyone i knew is either deactivated or hasnt posted since 2021.. and im always gonna compare that to the 2016 daily ask#blog boom around the time sm came out. unfortunately im picky so i like to have a lot of options and it looks like ask blogs kinda waned#since i last played in the community. i at least have the sense not to join a community discord now. that was so bad for my heart#i knw it sounds like i hated my time there but it was fun and a good way of getting to know other ppls ocs and stories#and a fun way of writing and participating in other ppls stories without it feeling like such a one sided thing#looking back i think it also leans heavily on how you write your characters and interactions than a fully fleshed out plot#if i loosened up a bit and let my story go with the flow of asks instead of only letting it lead down one route i wouldve had more fun#instead i was constantly trying to pick out what order to answer questions to make it go the way i wanted it to go#and not really learning how to anticipate and move with questions that wouldve opened up a lot of possibilities#which couldve made it more fun and less stressful. idk#yapping#diary

The sadness I feel when I try to find an old piece of art only to discover the original artists either disactivated their account or deleted the art but at the same time having to acknowledge that the art was made by the artists and shouldn't it be ultimately up to them if they no longer want that art to exist on the Internet
#tho also#one of the reasons i love tumblr#if the artist did delete their account or work#but i still have it reblogged / liked then it wont disappear from my likes / account#unlike some other social media#but yeah#thinking about this bc obviously rewatching fmab#and remembered this art i saw years ago#and wanted to try and find it again#only to see the account has been deactivated#which obviously made me sad#but also started me thinking about art and the Internet#and how even if you wanted to delete your art#itd still be out there#just a bit harder to find now
