Anyway I’m still thinking about how Law was so attached to Cora and was so traumatized by his death that he literally devoted thirteen YEARS of his life to revenge killing Doflamingo. Even though all Cora ever wanted was for Law to just be free and live his life happily. And Law spending all his time in a hateful revenge spiral is literally the exact OPPOSITE of what Cora wanted for him. BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE. If the thirteen years of endless devotion to avenging his savior wasn’t enough Law 1. Named his pirate crew the Heart Pirates in honor of Cora, 2. Covered himself in permanent heart-themed tattoos in honor of Cora, and 3. Fashioned his Jolly Roger to be a mockery of Doflamingo’s and ALSO to honor Cora. Homie is a walking memorial for a man he only really knew for six months and again crafted the most intricate plan known to mankind to murder Cora’s killer. Because losing Cora fucked him up THAT much. Because even though Cora set him free, the moment Doflamingo shot him Law was chained to the memory of a man who no longer existed. Law literally fashioned his entire life down to his own appearance after Cora and it makes me so insane. I cannot even imagine what went through his head after Dressrosa I mean how do you move on after a thirteen year grudge is put to rest. What is he supposed to do now. Avenging Cora was literally his entire existence, his entire reason for living for half of his life. He needs therapy probably. If Cora somehow ever did come back to life Law would lose his fucking mind. The dependency is SO unhealthy and I am SO here for it

Whenever I see milkvans insist Will isn’t important to the story, I recall this mysterious interview with Finn saying exactly the opposite. Mysterious because I have no idea where this audio originally comes from (heard it used in an edit, but the editor didn’t respond to anyone asking about its source in the comments), but it is clearly Finn speaking and you can even hear Caleb in the background agreeing with him, confirming it is very much real… does anyone know where it’s from??? A podcast? An interview? Behind the scenes?

i think xiao gets a little bit more open when he’s tired. he doesn’t admit to needing sleep often, but when you’re constantly battling both physical and mental enemies, you’re bound to get fatigued after a while; and whenever this happens, he lets you hold him for a while. sometimes, he cups your face in his hands—an action which made your heart almost fall out of your chest the first time he did it—and, staring into you with tired, half-lidded eyes and speaking with a quiet voice, softly tells you that he will be here to protect you, no matter what, and that he’ll always answer your calls and be there should you need him, and anything else he can never find the words to tell you when he wants to. his voice may be low and his eyelids dropping as he says this, but his words ring true and his eyes are earnest. you can tell he means it.

once he’s got that out of the way, he’s even more tired, and his head falls your shoulder. his arms come around you, returning your embrace, and he tugs you a fraction closer before pressing a single, ever-so-gentle kiss to the side of your neck and mumbling quiet declarations of love before finally drifting off.
