I always found this scene cute because of awkward Shiro and Lance's "Are you for real?" Face
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He is just so awkward, like he wants to say something but is not sure how to proceed.
And thinking better about this, I think that is whats going on.
Think about s1, when the Castle was attacked and Lance and Coran where caught in an explosion
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The first thing Shiro does when he sees an injured Coran is go help him sit and ask what happened, then is the one to reach Lance and check on him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Shiro was used to be the first to spring to action, assess the situation and assure the others that things will be ok.
But now that part is pretty well covered by Keith and Lance and in consequence Shiro is out of his depth

7 ways to reduce your screen time...
If you create content for a living, schedule your posts in one sitting so you don't have to spend as much time putting them out throughout the day.
Turn on your phone's grayscale setting — this overrides our natural inclination to click on the brightly colored app icons of addictive socials like Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and more.
Use a minimalist phone app. This removes icons altogether, and forces you to intentionally look for what you need from a list of apps as opposed to mindlessly clicking. I'm currently using an app called Oasis Launcher from the Google Play Store.
Turn off notifications from social media, so you are only prompted to spend time on those apps through your own natural inclination.
Oftentimes we reach for our phones because our hands are idle, not because we actually want to spend the time on them — find something to keep your hands busy. For me this is crochet, but it could be a book, a painting, or some other kind of project.
If you find that you spend a lot of time on certain social media apps, try uninstalling the app itself, and only using that form of media through your phone browser. I used to spend a lot of time window shopping on Amazon, and the added inconvenience of not having it available in one click has really helped deter me from spending so much time on it — now I only jump on and use it when I truly need to order something for the household.
Reevaluate your screen time at the end of every week. Many phones have a "digital well-being" feature now that allows you to set time limits on apps, and see how your screen time compares to previous weeks. This can be a great way to evaluate where you need to trim down your usage.

if they don't want us to see frost and mark's 'relationship' (it's in air quotes because whatever the fuck they have i refuse to call a relationship) as a joke, then they need to stop treating it like a joke in canon.
the time skips are appalling, genuinely, like how did we go from frost not giving a shit about this man to her crawling head over heels and crying over him and NO in between. there was never an in-between checkpoint for their storyline, it was all or nothing and i have no idea what's going on anymore, it's the INCONSISTENCY for me. i'm on 8x07 rn and the last time we saw mark, he made her vulnerable and believed this could be real, almost kissed her, then jumped out a fucking window.
she was mad for literally half a season.
let's just say i was a huge "frostblaine" fan. the last time i saw them was in 7x15 where they had their only serious moment in their whole story, only for it to be a lie. now, maybe i would want to see one episode where they AT LEAST reconcile and apologize?? instead of hearing about it after the fact?? nope, the next time we see them they're skydiving and singing karaoke and making out like their kiss wasn't a huge build-up for nothing. i'm so with caitlin on how quickly and weirdly their relationship progressed.
honestly, maybe i would be less hateful about this ship if they even TRIED to give them a good love story. it's clear the writers forget about mark (like they forget about frost and caitlin) until they realize, oh yeah, frost has no plot this season so we need to make her only lines per episode about her boyfriend who ditched her! it makes me mad that they reduced her character to that in s8. she can provide so much more than just the edgy 'teenager' that talks about her boyfriend all the time.
i haven't watched the rest of the season and i heard it does get better for her plot wise, but i also know she fucking dies so ofc they would do that.
there has been no serious moment in this whole 'on-again off again' bullshit. it's literally 'oh mark has abs!!!!! guys i have such a silly girly crush on him haha oh he's evil i'm gonna be pouty for half a season- oh wait he's back!!!' they've been treated as the comic relief couple. even in armageddon, caitlin wasn't even there at the fucking party but oh! right, we forgot frost! she's...oh yeah, she's having sex with mark in the bathroom bc that suits her character and the only thing we care about :333
they treat them like a joke, so how do they expect us not to see it as just that?

people rly have 0 media literacy how do u watch the first episode of painoko and think that makoto is a crossdressing boy like! just bc she says so?! like it’s maddening to me that people have completely lost the ability to understand media beyond dialogue lines!!!!! i hate it when a show spells obvious things out but im starting to think y’all need it bc makoto is so very obviously a transgender girl in the closet. even if the author messes up with vocabulary and accurate representation, even if makoto and everyone else around her third genders her, she’s OBVIOUSLY TRANS. like hello?? why tf would a crossdressing boy present as a girl in school and expose themselves to transphobic harassment and then secretly change into the boys’ uniform to go home and say “goodbye real me” leaving her girl-presenting clothes behind. HELLO?! but y’all won’t get it till she grabs the camera, breaks the fourth wall and says “i am a transgender woman. i am not an elusive third gendered otokonoko. i am a woman in the closet. im still struggling to come to terms with it. my family and friends also dont get it. but i am transgender, keep this in mind for the rest of the episode.” like come on

once again i am being subjected to "educational courses on generative AI" (lengthy advertisements that the higher ups want us to watch so they can say that we are trained in AI)
#it's a contact year we need to show that we spend a lot of tiem not only maintaining this stuff but also learning and improving the produc#we provide#they never define what they mean by AI or how the AI actually works its driving me insane#whoah this adobe ai can generate an image for you and insert it into the image you have have without learning photoshop#yeah but HOW. where are these images being pulled from? what methods are used to produce this shit#HOLY SHIT: most programmers dont actually spend that much time programming. they actually spend a lot of time in meetings. helping coworker#reading emails. reading documentation. HELLO???? YES??? THOSE ARE NORMAL THINGS TO DO???#yes attending meetings is annoying but the solution is to fucking reduce the amount of meetings and ensuring that meetings are efficient#NOT TO ADD AI????#the stupid fucking AI building half ur code isnt gonna reduce the time spent looking at documentation!!!! u can't trust the AI to be accura#to be accurate so ur gonna have to go to the documentation anyway!!!#“u can just code not worrying about syntax blah blah” so writing psuedocode??? doing a top down approach to get the big idea#and then write the little stuff later???#im so fucking livid this is SO DUMB#literally all the shit they mentioned in passing sounds actually useful instead of the generative AI bs#no i dont need a little guy to write my code for me#but a guy who checks my syntax? that suggests i look at a particular function from the library? that sounds useful!!!#“if i ask this thing how to do X it will tell me how with steps!”#Okay so will the documentation???? hello????#omfg this guy conviently skipped over the part where the AI gave a WRONG ANSWER#bro i can read the screen it did NOT accurately describe the game#“have it generate the game for you” the point of the little shit is to learn how to do stuff so you can apply it to the big shit#god im just so enraged#mr supervisor is this a good use of company resources?#you are billing t he client for ME learning ai bullshit#sir you having me sit through hours of learning the newest buzzword concepts. is this a good use of 8 hrs the client pays for me to be here#chit chat

The Offline-First Family
A New Blueprint for Connection
I remember one Saturday afternoon, covered in flour, laughing so hard I could barely breathe. My son, then eight, had accidentally flung a handful of it at his sister, who retaliated by dabbing a spot of dough on his nose. In that chaotic, messy, and utterly perfect moment in our kitchen, we weren't just making cookies; we were building a memory, brick by flour-dusted brick. That moment stands in stark contrast to so many others I'd let slip by—evenings spent in the same room, yet miles apart, each of us lost in the blue glow of a personal screen.

The Offline-First Family - 150+ Screen-Free Activities and Hobbies to Reclaim Your Weekends, Deepen Your Bonds, and Make Lasting Memories: BUY EBOOK CLICK HARE
The modern world pulls us in a thousand digital directions. It’s a constant, low-grade hum of notifications, updates, and feeds that promise connection but often leave us feeling more isolated. I realized that if I wanted more of those flour-dusted moments, I couldn't wait for them to happen by chance. I had to design our family life to make them not just possible, but probable. We embarked on a journey to become an "offline-first" family—not as a rejection of technology, but as a conscious and joyful celebration of the world beyond the screen.
This is more than a list of hobbies; it’s a blueprint for re-engineering your family time. It's about shifting the focus from passive consumption to active creation, from virtual worlds to shared realities. It’s about discovering that the most profound connections are often forged in the simplest, most beautifully unstructured moments.
The Architects of Fun: Building Something Together
There is a unique and powerful bond that forms when you create something tangible as a team. The shared goal, the collaborative problem-solving, and the physical result of your efforts create a powerful sense of unity and accomplishment.
The Kitchen as Your Workshop
The kitchen is the heart of the home, and it's the perfect place to start building your offline culture.
Culinary Construction Crew: Think beyond just making a meal. Try a "Family Food Truck" challenge where you invent a theme and create a menu together. Or embark on a "Sourdough Saga," learning the patient art of cultivating a starter and baking bread from scratch. These projects teach collaboration, patience, and the delicious rewards of teamwork.
The Great Family Bake-Off: Turn your kitchen into a studio for a friendly baking competition. The challenge isn't just about the final product; it's about the shared laughter over spilled sugar, the creative brainstorming for decorations, and the pride in presenting your collaborative masterpiece.
From Forts to Frameworks
Building isn't limited to the kitchen. Your entire home can be a canvas for creation.
Living Room Engineers: The classic blanket fort is the original collaborative construction project. It requires negotiation ("Your pillow is crushing my roof!"), engineering, and a shared vision. Once built, it becomes a private world for stories, games, or quiet connection.
The LEGO Metropolis: Don't just build individual sets. Combine all your bricks into one massive pile and work together on a single, ambitious project. Build a sprawling city, a detailed replica of your home, or a fantastical world from your imagination. The process of planning and executing a large-scale build together is an incredible exercise in teamwork.
The Art of Assembly: Working on a complex jigsaw puzzle or building a detailed model car or plane teaches focus and persistence. Each piece found, each part correctly glued, is a small victory celebrated together, leading to a final product you can all admire.
The Joyful Explorers: Discovering Worlds, Real and Imagined
Curiosity is the engine of a vibrant life. By intentionally seeking out new experiences and knowledge together, you can turn your weekends into a grand adventure of discovery, both in the great outdoors and within the pages of a book.
Charting Your Local Territory
You don’t need to book a flight to be an explorer. Adventure is waiting just outside your door.
Become Urban Archaeologists: Explore your own town or city with a new lens. Go on a hunt for historical plaques, research the story behind a local monument, or create a photo scavenger hunt of unique architectural details. You’ll be amazed at the history and beauty hidden in plain sight.
Nature's Detectives: Arm yourselves with a magnifying glass and a field guide and head to a local park. Go on a "bio-blitz" to see how many different species of plants, insects, and birds you can identify in an hour. This simple shift in focus transforms a simple walk into a scientific expedition.
Starlight Navigators: Escape the city lights and introduce your family to the awe of the night sky. Learn to identify a few key constellations and watch for meteor showers. Lying on a blanket, staring into the vastness of the universe together, is a profound reminder of your place in the world and your connection to each other.
Journeys of the Mind
Exploration isn't just about physical travel. You can journey to countless worlds without ever leaving your living room.
Literary Voyages: Start a family book club with a twist. Choose a book set in a different country, and as you read it, explore that country's culture. Cook its food, listen to its music, and locate it on a map. It turns reading into a multi-sensory, immersive experience.
The Storytelling Guild: Sit in a circle and build a story together, one sentence at a time. The first person starts the tale, and each family member adds the next line. This simple game unleashes creativity and often results in hilarious and unpredictable adventures.
Ancestral Quests: Dive into your own family history. Pull out old photo albums, interview grandparents or older relatives (in person or on a call), and start building a family tree together. Discovering the stories of those who came before you provides a powerful sense of identity and belonging.
The Art of Unstructured Play: Embracing Spontaneity and Laughter
In our over-scheduled world, we often forget the importance of pure, purposeless play. It's in these moments of spontaneous fun and silliness that stress melts away and some of the most genuine connections are made.
Old-Fashioned Fun, Timeless Laughter
The best games often require the least equipment.
The Living Room Carnival: Create a series of absurdly fun "carnival games" with household items. Try "sock basketball" into a laundry hamper, a "cotton ball shot put," or a "pillowcase sack race" down the hallway. Award ridiculous homemade prizes and lean into the silliness.
Shadow Puppet Theater: All you need is a blank wall and a single light source. Create characters with your hands and weave epic tales of dragons, rabbits, and everything in between. It's a magical and creative way to end the day.
Pictionary with a Twist: Instead of drawing on paper, use a whiteboard, an old window with dry-erase markers, or even draw with your fingers in a tray of sand or salt. Changing the medium breathes new life into a classic game.
The Pursuit of Presence
The ultimate goal of an offline-first life is simply to be present with one another. It’s about creating a family culture where looking up from a screen is the default, and where shared experiences are the most valuable currency.
This shift won't happen overnight. It requires intention, patience, and a willingness to embrace imperfection. There will be moments of resistance and the magnetic pull of digital habits will be strong. But every time you choose to build a fort, explore a trail, or just laugh together over a silly game, you are casting a vote for a different kind of life. You are building a family resilient enough to thrive in the modern world, grounded in the timeless power of genuine human connection.
