We’ve all basically agreed that Aventurine’s boss form is a transformation, like there’s no other explanation for how our short king suddenly gains height (other than his heels of course)

BUT

Unlike fellow magical girl Childe Ajax Tartaglia, we never actually saw Aventurine’s transformation!

(WE WERE FUCKING ROBBED, YOU KNOW IT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE MOST DRAMATIC ASS TRANSFORMATION SEQUENCE, I WILL NOT BACK DOWN FROM THE AVENTURINE LIKES MAGICAL GIRLS HEADCANON)

So until they actually show us the damn thing, or give us a different Stoneheart’s transformation, I’m gonna have some fun and headcanon that no actually, it’s not a transformation. To keep up his dramatics and acts, my boy instead just lugs around a whole-ass costume to change into whenever he needs to do a quick boss fight.

(Ratio constantly nags him about why he always has so much luggage, it’s because of this. He needs all 152 costume pieces and those things take up space Ratio, let a man express himself, damn. A whole suitcase is dedicated to just the shoes since his heels hide extra stilts in them to give him the height advantage. Ratio is always silently judging him whenever he changes, but in the sense that he can’t believe that this is the love of his life and of course he’ll help zip up the back, stop whining Aventurine)

I’m just imagining him making that dramatic announcement to the Astral Express all “come and find me” and then quickly rushing to get into the outfit and make sure his hair and accessories are all in place before they show up. The whole reason he was giving that dramatic speech in 2.1 was because the crew arrived too early and he was rushing to get into those ridiculous boots of his and he needed to buy time fast. Ratio was in the back operating an out of sight crane to constantly keep Aventurine floating in the air.

So following that train of thought, headcanon that all Stoneheart boss forms are just the Stoneheart’s being dramatic as fuck for the aesthetic OR if it turns out that no one else has a cool boss form, then Aventurine is the only one who does this whole thing because he’s a dramatic king.

(HOYO better actually show us the magical girl transformation, THERE HAS TO BE A MAGICAL TRANSFORMATION, HOYO PLEASE I NEED MAGICAL GIRL AVENTURINE THAT’S ALL I’M ASKING PLEASE)

Just letting everyone know I'm only gonna be playing ZZZ for the cute wolf guy ok 🙄

Wendy in GGZ was a girl raised as a labrat to become a Herrscher and destroy humanity. However she is still a very playful person who does anything by her will and capricious urges, and even though she never truly realizes her hatred for humans was indoctrinated, her only moments of freedom and discovery by little things with Totori (the most important person to her who really cared about her wellbeing) are the most precious until her very last moments. Wendy has a tragic ending because she was so close to being redeemed multiple times and yet she went away back to zero. but at least she died in Totori's arms and confessed her last words to her.

Wendy is also a victim of unlucky circumstances and not being loved enough to be saved in HI3rd. She really thought she could trust Bronya to give her life so they could be together, and Bronya would have wanted it too, but Wendy's writing reduced her as a plot device.

In ver 1.8 a set of stigmata based on the Seven Deadly Sins went unrealeased, and Wendy was featured. And guess which sin they chose her out of all?

Envy.

They knew what they were doing. Wendy will forever curse everyone including the ones she loved because she was betrayed without knowing and will never be able to live a normal life. She's forever an experiment.

Her JP seiyuu in HI3rd is also the same voice of Collei, another victim of who saw her only as a tool to inflict of whatever they wanted for their own ends. At least Collei has a long, consistent, finished arc from the webtoon to Sumeru and the last events featuring her. (that one with Sucrose was so gooooood) It's so satisfiying seeing her grow as a better person despite she also did terrible mistakes. I'm definitely not crying internally cause Wendy never got that treatment while still being fascinated by characters who get done dirty by the metanarrative.

Should I also mention I fear for Venti the worst for its implications of being both as a standalone character and as Genshin's Wendy, with all his connections to his people, Istaroth, Celestia and the Tsaritsa? When will HoYo free him from the basement???? He's being hinting anything since the fucking betas!!!!!

I wake up and I remember my dreams of Aven twirling around with cute sound effects with slight manic laughter as he’s magicked into his funky hat and cool mask and cunty boots and I mourn

Honestly I've been trying my best to be charitable and not hate Firefly the character (she's fine. I think if she's supposed to be soooo important to us Aventurine's 3+ hour backstory should have gone to her instead but she's fine), but the whole TBxFirefly romantic subplot shlock contained pretty much every clumsy trope that I despise in a romantic subplot so I didn't think it was cute, I hated it.

On top of that there's the ongoing trend of games letting you choose your player character's gender but not the gender of your love interest, which is basically the developers saying loud and clear "WE ONLY CARE ABOUT STRAIGHT MALE GAMERS" and I'm tired of every single game doing this. Honestly if it continues and we don't have the choice to either reject FF or choose someone else it'll just be too cringe and I'll probably drop the game.

is it just me or does misha's eyes(or eye since we only see one) looks.. off?

they're purple, which isn't a bad colour if you ask me, but there's one thing:

the colour purple isn't found anywhere else on his design, which is kinda odd isn't it? it stands out very heavily, unless its meant to match his sleeves since both look very similar in the splash art, or the cloth thing in his pocket. maybe its purple to offset the heavy amount of blue in his design but i don't think so. unless it actually is purple because of his design.

there's also the fact that the pupil looks like a keyhole:

or there's a keyhole over what should be his pupil. my best guess is that the secret to penacony is locked in his eyes, similar to how inuyasha's father's grave could only be accessed by the pearl in his eye. maybe the watchmakers legacy is Misha, maybe he holds the key so to speak. maybe he is the watchmaker's legacy, which explains how he's able to see clockie, but it probably goes deeper than him just being the grandchild of the watchmaker.

maybe the watchmaker made the dreamscape for Misha. maybe misha is what the watchmaker could never be? Or maybe Misha was trapped there. when we first enter the Golden Hour and A Child's Dream and we hear someone who sounds a lot like Misha calling out to whoever Mikhail is?

hoyo is definitely setting him up to be extremely plot relevant and i cant wait for the next act. i hope the meme doesn't get him next
