TOH WITH A IMMORTAL READER!

Okay so this wasn’t a specific request or anything so I’m just going to answer here with how I think each character would cope with having an immortal significant other. This got very long as I included basically everyone that’s on my masterlist… oops!

Also, to reiterate, these are just my thoughts so they’re very biased towards how I interpret the characters — and your relationship with the characters can be romantic or queer-platonic or similar depending on your preference!

Adrian Graye-Vernworth

doesn’t even remotely believe you at first and will probably assume you’re joking. but once he does recognise your honesty then he’ll probably have something of a breakdown for a while and step back from your relationship — equal parts jealous of the life you’ve lived and horrified at the idea of just being a blip on the radar of your infinite life. it’s 50/50 whether this is a dealbreaker for him and he’ll either slowly inch back into your relationship or just break up with you because of the stress.

Alador Blight

alador is mostly neutral to your immortality when it comes to your relationship. like he’ll call on you for a second opinion when he’s working on something and will draw on your experience to further help his fellow witches — but he doesn’t really think about it any beyond that. though he does sometimes worry about you and how you’ll cope when he’s gone (because he knows that losing you would break him).

Amity Blight

when you tell her it’s quite the shock to the system and she doesn’t really know what to say or how to react. she’ll freeze up and you can see her thinking as she considers her response before she finally squeezes your hands and thanks you for telling her. she’d want to stay with you and wouldn’t want to break up, but she’d definitely have a few crises over the fact that you’ve lived so long before her and you will live so long after — but she also finds a small bit of comfort in the idea that she’ll never have to live without you.

Belos / Philip Wittebane

he’s been alive for far longer than he ever should have been because of his mission, so the idea of immortal entities isn’t difficult for him to believe. so upon finding out about your condition, he’s amazed but not necessarily startled by it — asking you about your origins and if there are more beings like you out there. if he truly cares about you, he’ll stick by you for as long as he’s able to keep his form stable — but if he doesn’t then he’ll just use you to find a way to complete his goal and lengthen his life further.

Boscha

boscha is someone else who wouldn’t believe you when you told her — going from genuine disbelief to shaky doubt to outright terrified denial and then through the stages of grief as she comes to terms with your condition. as sad as it sounds, this would probably end up being a deal breaker and would end your relationship as she would struggle too much with your past and future to be with you beyond that.

Camila Noceda

she doesn’t believe you at first, thinking that you’re just older than her as she’s seen some strange things but immortality is just so far beyond that. it takes her some time to come to terms with this but you do end up bonding over the losses you’ve experienced throughout your lives — you, your various lovers and friends, and her, luz’s father. she insists on learning your native language and teaching you hers so that you have an experience to remember her by.

Collector

having an immortal significant other would be the best case scenario for collector given his own life span. they wouldn’t have to worry about losing you prematurely and you’d be able to understand the issues he’s faced throughout their long life — whilst also having all the time in the world to grow with him and together as a couple. so they would be hopeful to have a spouse with this trait.

Darius Deamonne

this wouldn’t be a dealbreaker for darius but he would have a serious, long conversation about where you both stand and how your experiences would impact your relationship. he wouldn’t necessarily ask about your past relationships but he would be curious about older ages of magic on the isles and how other realms function — and especially how that can help the rebellion against belos.

Eberwolf

they’re pretty chill about the whole thing, honestly — like it rarely ever comes up in conversation so there’s no real impact on your relationship. you two just continue vibing together and spending the time you have wisely (by having fun) without the stresses such a realisation often bring. really they’re the best person you could have told — they only bring it up once or maybe twice and it’s only to make fun of you (lovingly, of course).

Eda Clawthorne

your immortality means that you have more knowledge of the world before belos and, thus, wild magic and magic as a whole. this means that eda will be looking to you to learn more about the owl beast, the history of those like her and if you ever came to know others with similar curses. she’d also insist on you teaching her about the people you loved and she’ll happily talk about raine (she’s far from the jealous type, but she is something of a gossip). she doesn’t care about making scrapbooks or taking pictures and prefers living in the moment with you and your family — living in the ‘doing’ world rather than focusing on capturing every little thing. you’ll look back on this with king and fleetingly wish you had more pictures, but the memory of her laugh and smile is tangible enough that neither of you feel like you’re missing out on too much.

Edric Blight

he will probably have something of an existential crisis about his own mortality when you tell him and would insist on finding a way to make himself live as long as you do. he starts comparing himself to the people you loved and lost and you’ll end up having to talk him into getting some help for it. your relationship will be permanently changed by this, but you will grow and heal with time — it’s just such a shock for him that he takes a bit of a mental health wobble whilst he comes to terms with it.

Emira Blight

em tends to bottle up her feelings a lot and will initially come off as very accepting and calm about the whole thing — but make no mistake this poor woman is one mislabelled jar of seasoning away from a breakdown. she’s now very aware of her own mortality and that she’s one of the probably dozens you’ve loved and lost and she’s absolutely terrified of being forgotten and lost to the sands of time. she’ll insist on keeping thorough, reliable records of your time together and by the time she’s old and you’re young you’ll be spending your last days together looking over them and laughing and crying and holding each other — finally ready to say goodbye.

Gus Porter

he will bombard you with questions about your life nonstop. did you ever live in the human realm? how has it changed? how has the boiling isles changed? there’s so much he wants to know and he has all the time in the world to listen to you talk — and he will note down everything you say and look at you with complete interest. so yeah he’ll still love you just as much as before, he’s just very nosy and eager to learn.

Hunter Wittebane

hunter is someone that would likely have a few hang-ups regarding true- and pseudo- immortality given his status as a clone/grimwalker. he’d have to do a lot of thinking regarding your relationship once he found out and a lot of serious conversations would be had about his natural lifespan compared to yours. in the end you would stay together and he’d be with you for a significant period of it (a few hundred years given him being similar to palismen) with him insisting that you don’t bring him back once he’s gone.

Lilith Clawthorne

she’d be absolutely entranced by your condition and would start fangirling over everything you must have experienced. you’ll end up getting interviewed and documented in every way possible as she asks about your history in and beyond the isles. though she might spend a bit more time on the deadwardian period than anything else (she’s biased, okay!).

Luz Noceda

luz would be amazed with you and would be eager to learn your story — as well as just about everything about you. she wants to learn your native language and hear about the cultures and people you knew throughout the years, especially if it involves some form of magic. she does, however, insist on making lots of memories with you and recording them so you never forget her.

Mattholomule

another one that doesn’t believe you but in mattholomule’s case he never ends up believing you. in his mind you’re just making a weird joke and there comes a point where you just stop trying to correct him and just live your life out with him — watching him grow old and grey whilst you remain the same. it’s on his death bed when he finally realises, but the life you shared was full of laughter and love so neither of you find it in yourselves to complain.

Odalia Blight

she is the type to use your status to her advantage which means that your relationship dynamic would inevitably shift. like she’d still care about you and be as affectionate as before, but she insists on showing you off and presenting herself as the wife of an immortal being in order to put herself above her fellow witches. you can tell her to knock it off. it will not work.

Raine Whispers

raine is heartbroken for you when they realise just how much you’ve lost throughout your life and they insist on memorialising your lost loved ones however they can. they help you write ballads for deceased lovers and learn to play songs from your home (even if their pronunciation is very shaky) because they care so deeply about you. they don’t talk about their concerns often, but they do ask that you remember them — and they leave you plenty of songs behind to do so.

Steve

as he’s quite possibly the most chilled out person in the boiling isles, steve doesn’t really care about the fact that you’re immortal. like when you tell him he’ll ask you a few questions about yourself and your past, but otherwise your relationship will stay the same and he’ll keep on keeping on. might expect the occasional cool story from your past, though, when you’ve both been drinking some apple blood.

Terra Snapdragon

she will most likely treat this as an opportunity to gain more power through your relationship. like she does care for you as you are her spouse at the end of the day, but she’s also incredibly power-hungry and having a partner who is immortal and has more experience than basically every other living entity is the ideal opportunity for her to get what she wants. so she definitely wouldn’t leave you, but the dynamic between the two of you would definitely change.

Viney

this wouldn’t be the end of your relationship but it would change a lot. viney insists on the two of you continuing to live in the moment together, focusing on making lasting memories doing things that you both love so that you never forget her. that means frequent fun dates, time spent teaching as a team, helping everyone you can and just spending time together doing what you love and having as much fun as you can whilst doing so.

Willow Park

willow is shocked by the revelation of your immortality but she doesn’t make too much of a big deal of it. like she will sit down with you and discuss anything you want to talk about, but generally your relationship remains unchanged. the only change is that she starts writing letters for you and hiding them — wanting to leave something behind for you once she’s gone.

↳ Hunter once fell cause he was being a brat. After that, he’d cling to you in fear. He was never a brat when flying again.

-Boy, would he like that.

-Hunter’s very insecure, we all know it, and no matter what he’s doing for you whether it’s sexual or not, he constantly worries about not doing good enough and disappointing you.

-So a vocal reader would be a dream, it makes him feel like he’s doing a adequate job, that he’s actually proving his worth by supplying you pleasure, it gives him confidence.

-And when he gets confident, well, it just spurs him on harder if you get what I mean. 😉

-If you were embarrassed by the noises you made in bed, he’d reassure you with much sputtering and backtracking so he didn’t sound like a total creep, but basically giving you the message that he thought the noises were pretty.

[Chapter One: It Takes Time]

[a/n: reader is the older sister to the collector, hunter maybe out of character but even if he is it makes for great moments here]

Everyone is seated at the dining room table, and Camila looks at everyone as she takes in everything she's just heard. "Okay, so in the Demon Realm, you fought the evil Emperor Belos who turned into a monster..." She says, looking at everyone.

"Well, he started out human." Gus added, "Right, but he was defeated by a newer, smaller bad guy?" She asked, still taking it all in. She never expected such a world and things to actually exist.

"The Collector." Willow said, and [Y/n] could feel everyone looking at her when she said that, so she brought her knees to her chest. Placing the hood on her robe over her head, hiding her face from everyone.

"We don't know what he is or how Belos found him," Willow added, looking over at Camila. Luz looked up panicked, "Who knows if we'll ever figure that out?! But they're creating a lot of chaos." Luz says, panicked. "We have to do whatever it takes to get back," Amity says, placing her hand on Luz's shoulder.

Camila looks at them, "And you will. But for now, you should all rest. You're all safe here." She says, to them and [Y/n] just keeps her head down. She felt unease in the house as if she didn't belong like no one wanted her here knowing she too is a collector.

It was while everyone was settling down, she went outside and to the side of the house. She sniffled, as hugged her knees to her chest. She didn’t blame them for not trusting her. Why should they? She’s a collector they’ve seen firsthand what her younger sibling is capable of, what they’re capable of being collectors, yet, why does it hurt so much? Is she trying too hard? Not trying hard enough? What is she doing wrong? Is she the problem?

Tears brimmed her eyes, as she stared at the ground. Hugging her knees tighter as her mind wandered. “Maybe, I don’t deserve their trust.” She mumbled, sniffling as she stared at the ground. Watching, as a single butterfly landed on the grass in front of her.

“You okay?” A voice asked, from around the corner of the house. She quickly, wiped away her tears and turned towards the voice, Hunter. She stayed silent, hugging her knees to her chest and turning her head away from him.

He sat down next to her, “Having, trouble making friends Huh?” He asked, and stayed quiet but he could hear her faintly mumble something into her knees.

“I had trouble too.” He said, looking at the ground he could’ve sworn he noticed her looking at him then, looking back towards the ground.

“At the time I never interacted with anyone the same age as me.” He said, and she slowly turned to look at him. “Making, I struggled a lot it took time for me to let them in and open up.” He said, just as a little cardinal landed on his lap.

She turned to look towards the bird, “But, if it wasn’t for Flapjack here.” He said, gently petting the bird. “I wouldn’t have the friends I have now.” He said, and she looked at him slowly lifting her head.

“Even with Flapjack, it still took time and even still I messed up sometimes. But eventually,” He said, as Flapjack flew towards her and landed on her lap.

Chirping at her she smiled, and gently petted the small bird. “You’ll have friends that’ll stick with you forever.” He said, and she turned towards him smiling softly.

“So, it just takes time?” She asked, and he nodded she smiled softly looking at him.

“Time..” She whispered, she’s been around for centuries probably even longer. Leaning her head against the side of the house, “I’ve been around for centuries, and yet not once, has anyone wanted to be my friend.” She said, looking at him and he looks at her sadly.

She turned her head towards him and smiled, "Thanks, Hunter." She said, and he smiled back at her. She watched as he got onto his feet and reached out his hand for her to take. She bit the corner of her lip and took his hand. Standing to her feet, tripping slightly but being caught by Hunter. Her heart skipped, a beat as she looked up at him her cheeks turning a slight tint of red. Before standing back up and smiling, he leads her back inside the Noceda household.

For [Y/n], it took her a while to finally befriend everyone. But eventually, they trusted her and realized she was different than her younger sibling. When that day came [Y/n] smiled.

[Y/n]'s eyes widened as she stared at herself in the mirror. Her hands gripped the new clothes on her body, every bit of it an extension of herself and a hint towards her title as a collector. the mixture of light and dark purples, with hints of white, and black.

She opened the door, smiling cheerfully, with a toothy grin. Camila smiled softly, seeing everyone in clothes that suited them. [Y/n] noticed, Hunter wearing a costume matching Flapjack and she couldn't help but smile. Seeing how adorable he looked in the costume.

wait? did she just call Hunter adorable?! her cheeks turned a slight tint of red.

[Y/n] was walking down the hallway toward Luz's bedroom, when she walked passed the bathroom. Looked down, and noticed strands of blonde hair on the ground. Curious she opened the door, wondering what was going on. She froze for a moment seeing a flustered Hunter, struggling to cut his hair.

Sweat ran down his cheeks as he turned to look at her. His eyes widened when seeing her standing in the doorframe. She smiled, at him and told him to sit on the toilet so she could help him. She picked up the scissors and took a few strands of hair, and started cutting. Hunter, had a blush on his face the entire time as she helped him cut his hair.

Hunter placed the jumper cable onto the door knob of the abandoned house. He turned back towards his friends, giving them the thumbs up. While, Gus, Amity, Willow, and Hunter's palismen. Where hamster wheels help charge, and hopefully create a portal to get back home.

Once, the signal was given they started running except Gus' palisman. Everyone watched as a portal began to form at the door but eventually exploded and turned into fire completely disintegrating the door. Everyone stared at it in shock and sadness. Gus ran over waving a fire extinguisher but Vee came up behind him. Taking it out of his hand, squeezing the nozzle aiming it at the fire, and extinguishing it. Luz looked down devastated that it didn't work.

[Y/n] eyes sparkled with wonder as she stared at the rain. Reaching her hand out to touch the droplets that fell from the sky, she chuckled softly, feeling one land in the palm of her hand. She had seen rain before but it was always deadly kind. Just as she was about to step outside. Hunter appeared beside her shaking his head, as he looked outside at the rain curiously.

Until Gus appeared behind knocking him down into the mud. [Y/n] had fallen as well landing on Hunter's waist, her cheeks turned red. As she looked towards him, but snickered seeing his entire head covered in mud the snail added an extra touch.

Willow smiled, seeing her friends having fun for once finally able to have a breather, despite the situation they were in. Camila stood beside her and handed her a Polaroid camera to take a picture of the moment, and she did.

[Y/n] brought her knees to her chest, as she looked up at the stars in the sky. She missed, her home among the stars. She couldn't stand her younger sibling and what he was doing to the Boiling Isle. All because he wanted to play a game? But she'll never forgive their older siblings the archivists for what they did to her.

"I'll never forgive them for what they did?" She mumbled, into her knees. "Aren't you cold?" a voice asked, and she turned around and noticed, Hunter, walking out with a blanket and holding two cups of hot chocolate.

"Camila, saw you sitting outside and wondered if you were cold." He said, and she smiled softly as he walked over towards her. Handing her the mug, and her eyes sparkled looking at the warm contents in the mug. Seeing, the white marshmallows floating at the top.

"Thanks," She said, and he looked away slightly his cheeks turning red. He then placed, the blanket down beside her and was about to walk back inside, before she stopped him. "Hey, wanna stargaze with me?" She asked, sheepishly she could've sworn her voice cracked slightly. Why is her heart racing all of a sudden? Why did it feel like butterflies were in her stomach?

"U-um, sure." He said, cheeks bright red as he turned and walked back towards her, sitting down beside her. Taking a sip of the hot chocolate. "Surprisingly, your constellations in the Boiling Isles, are quite the same as the ones in the human realm." She said, smiling looking at him. Despite the fact that her heart was pounding against her chest rapidly.

She brought the mug to her lips, took a sip and her eyes sparkled. At how delicious it tasted, Hunter couldn't help but smile seeing this. "Oh, see that one ursa major and ursa minor?" she asked, looking at him as she pointed up at the night sky. "That's in the boiling isles as well," she said, smiling.

Her cheeks, went red revealing she accidentally placed her hand over his hand. She wanted to disappear back into the stars at this moment, both hunter and her locked eyes for a moment. Before looking away from each other embarrassed. "Um, so ah, whats It like being a collector?" He asked, and she looked at him and shrugged her shoulders.

"It's ah, okay, i guess. If you like being alone forever not having any friends and if you do, watchingthemdiecauseyourbasicallyan immortalbeing." She rambled, and he looked at her and she stopped for a moment and looked at him. "Sorry, that's the one thing I know I'll have to live with." She said, looking down.

"Watching the ones you love fade away with time?" He asked, and she nodded sadly. "Well, that's a long way away so you don't have to worry about that." He said, and she shook her head, "100 years is a blink in an eye for me." She said, looking into the cup of hot chocolate.

"I don't wanna be alone again," She said, tears brimming her eyes, and he knew that one day she'd still be alive and he, Luz, Willow, will all be gone. She wouldn't have anyone else to call her friend. Hunter placed the mug onto the grass and held up his pinkie finger. "What're you doing?" She asked, and he smiled looking at her, "I promise, that I'll stay with you for as long as I can." He said, blushing as he looked at her and she stared at him in shock.

"You making a promise with a collector huh?" She said, smiling mischievously, "I accept," She said, blushing as she wrapped her pinkie around his. Pulling away, she wrapped the blanket around them both blushing profusely, as they looked up at the stars. Hunter hesitantly leans his head onto her shoulder and her heart skips a beat. She smiles, and continues to tell him about the stars, and what it was like for her living amongst them.

You and Luz were besties so when Luz was going to get sent to that camp you decided to tag along so she wouldn't be lonely

Not once did you expect that you were actually going to end up in a magic world

You didn't care as much about becoming a witch as Luz did, while yes it seemed interesting you were more interested in hand to hand combat so you ended up stealing a sword

In any case the first time you met Hunter you didn't know that he was the golden guard

You were in the market getting some stuff for Eda when you came across a book stand and you realized that some of these books were about the savage ages, you figured Luz would enjoy them so you went to buy them

That's when he stopped you and started talking about how those books are banned and for good reason

You didn't feel like getting sent to the conforatorium right now so you begrudgingly decided against buying the book.

Afterwards you decided to ask the kid his name and if he wanted to hang out with you

He was very hesitant but ended up agreeing to it

After that day you two became fast friends and you became partners soon after

When you found out he was the golden guard your relationship had started to get bumpy but after he found out how much of a douche Belos was everything was (sorta) back to normal

When he ran out of the Owl House you chased after him and when you found him in the woods you had a heart to heart and told him that if he ever needed you you'd be there.

The first time he saw you fight he fell harder than he already did

Like he was down bad before but now he's down bad

When King's tide happened you fucking punched Belos for being a dick to your friends

You almost got killed because of it but ut was totally worth it

All in all you two are adorable and Luz and Amity are jealous

hunter wittebane-noceda - general hcs.

this man loves physical touch (not that kind y'all nasty mfs)- hand-holding, hugs, shoulder pats, etc. he's touch-starved as hell. he'll probably cry on you if you hug him, but only if he's well-rested enough not to fall asleep instantly.

hugs from people he trusts are really the only way he feels safe... even when he's by himself, he's always on edge. it feels good to know somebody has his back.

that's probably why he's so tired all the time tbh. never been well-rested a day in his life because he just doesn't feel safe enough to let himself relax. dude probably has muscle knots for days.

became the golden guard at thirteen. his hands were very badly scarred on his first mission (like in the moringmark comic) when he had to dig his troop of scouts out from underneath a landslide. he ended up with bad nerve damage from the cold of the mountains, and his hands still shake pretty badly, even when he tries really hard to hold them still. he wears compression gloves to help combat this.

never been in a relationship and never had any friends. the closest thing he ever had to a friend was steve, and the age gap was frickin' enormous, so they never really connected in the same way as hunter would have connected with others his age. still, he sees steve like a big brother and a friend at the same time. steve is fond of hunter in the way a teacher is fond of a pupil, but definitely has no idea how much hunter worships and looks up to him as a person, and he definitely has no idea hunter has never experience any sort of love or affection before.

has legitimately no idea that what he went through with belos was abuse. thinks that he deserved every scar, every bruise, every injury, because he thinks that's just what parental figures do when you fuck up.

has panic attacks over seemingly very small things, and experiences deeply traumatic flashbacks if/when he has to walk through the palace again later in life. even though the flashbacks aren't necessarily noticeable to the people around him, he does have to find an excuse to leave so he has a chance to recompose himself in private.

probably has a mild eating disorder. comes from a similar place to his lack of sleep (aside from not being able to relax) where he has this idea in his head that he needs to be able to survive off of as little as possible and take up as little space/resources as possible.

Hunter was sitting on the couch thinking, it was two in the morning, you were at Luz's mother's house, it had been weeks since you were trapped in the human world, in these weeks you noticed that hunter started to feel uncomfortable about some things and you decided to confront him

" Hunter it's two in the morning what are you doing awake? " You asked

" I was thinking about something and you? You shouldn't be awake at this time either y/n "

" I came to eat something, I couldn't sleep. Hunter I wanted to ask you something I was thinking about asking this for a few days" you said going to his side and taking his hand

" What do you want to ask me love? " He says taking your other hand

" It's just that you seem to be uncomfortable with something, I don't know why, I wanted you to explain to me why "

Hunter sighs nervously.

" So I don't know how to explain this, but well I don't feel good about myself." Hunter takes a big breath again " I didn't feel good before but now it's different, y/n do you remember when you found out that you are trans? "

" yes you supported me a lot at that time, i still owe you a lot for that " you smile at him

" So I guess I'm Trans, I don't feel good being called a boy, I hadn't told you yet because I was afraid you wanted to break up with me " He says pulling away from you a bit with sadness on his face

" Oh hunter, I don't care what gender you are, I would never break up with you because of this, you supported me when I discovered myself now it's my turn, you will always be my girlfriend, and I'll cut off the head of anyone who thinks of calling you a boy, you're my girlfriend, you'll never get rid of me " You say giving her a kiss and hugging her, she blushing but returning the gesture of affection

" But I can't keep my hair long because of him.... " She says with a sad voice continuing to hug you " It's ok hunter, you are still valid, tomorrow if you want you can tell the rest of the people and we can buy more women's clothes for you " You say with excitement in your voice with hunter smiling with a sparkle in her eyes " Of course my love " She says giving you a kiss

And that's how it happened, she told the rest and they supported her, you guys were the power Trans couple, You comforted each other, You wore her old clothes, she thought it was adorable, you guys were adorable, you always corrected people who got her pronouns wrong " sorry sir/madam but she is a girl so you should stop treating her like a boy " If it was on purpose you would start an argument with that person, that in the end hunter would have to take you away from that person and calm you down " how can I calm down when people say you are a boy on purpose?! " She did the same with you, she doesn't tolerate people who think you're a girl "he's not a girl, if you call him a girl again I swear I'll kill you" She comforted you when that happened, she now sleeps with the girls now and now it's just you and gus in the basement, she sometimes sleeps with you in the basement and spends all night huging you with her head on your chest, you guys are just so adorable, Luz thinks you two are adorable, she invites you two to a couples date with amity

Hunter loves you so much, You mean the world to her, she would do anything to see you happy.

(I wrote this with a reader in mind but didn’t really fixate on gendered terms so this can be read as a GN Reader too)

(I also love Cody Fry dude, if you haven’t heard his other songs you should listen I’m sure you’d love them. Some of them are covers but honestly I think he outdoes himself with most of his music)

- not to push my agenda on here, but hunter’s also most likely on the spectrum, he just didn’t get the advantage of growing up in a place where diagnosis was an option. so when you first tell him about it prepare for lots of questions. it isn’t to overwhelm you (but if it does he will totally back off and give you some space) he’s just trying to make sure he knows everything he can. 

- asks around (specifically luz as she has her own experience with diagnosis) and finds a few books on it, though he’s especially excited to learn from you (especially if this means that he can help you cope with any symptoms better) 

- when he finds out about any interests of yours, he’s so beyond happy to see you excited about something, he wants to hear all about it, all your favorite facts, what first got you into it. (if this is also overwhelming he’ll opt to infodump about his interests instead)  - definitely gets you tiny gifts related to your interests or hyperfixations, (or will make them depending on if it’s a common interest or not) though as much as he loves to see your reactions to them, he’ll occasionally leave them in your room just so you can react without worrying about masking. (he stresses out quite a bit himself when gifted something and having to immediately react in front of others)  - similar to how he made his costume from cosmic frontier, if you want a halloween costume related to your interest this boy will put everything he has into making it for you. anything to see your joy.  - that being said if anyone were to ever make fun of your excitement for these interests, they’ll have an angry hunter to deal with 

- if you get overstimulated? he’s the best at finding hiding places. big closets, quiet gardens, places only the two of you frequent? his absolute favorite. he’ll hold you if you’re not uncomfortable with it, and if not he’ll sit beside offering verbal comfort (to his best capability)  “it’s alright, I promise, i’m right here.” 

- doesn’t realize it but he tends to mimic your stims, so if you don’t point this out to him someone in the group probably will. it’s both a case of mirroring and finding out stim’s he also likes. though has some of his own as well (chewing on things he’s holding, clapping, hand flaps) flapjack and him tend to flap together though. 

- he did pick up a stim where he sang the burger king whopper song because he heard it in commercials too many times. 

- if you have any sensory issues with food, he’ll be sure to advocate for them the best he can, whether this means helping you make safe foods or just reminding anyone making the food of these struggles. very “excuse me, they asked for no pickles” energy.

so imagine this, you're sitting in the Noceda's basement with Hunter and Gus, and you're in the middle and Hunter is to your right and Gus is sitting to your left, and Hunter smoothly slides his hand next to yours and interlocks your pinkies. UGH. He just does that whenever you're next to him like sometimes he doesn't even know he does it, yk?

He fidgets alot, like ALOT so sometimes he just grabs your hand and started cracking your knuckles (after you taught him how to do it after he saw you doing it). Like you could be having a conversation w Eda in the Owl House and Hunter is sitting right next to you and he just grabs your hand and just starts cracking your knuckles 😭

He just stares at you with heart eyes, he's so whipped, like you could be working w/ Luz and Luz points to him and giggles because he looks so cute while looking at you!

 When you are also in the basement in the human realm and have your earbuds in he leans in closer to try and hear your favorite song and then you catch him humming to it while he's working on sewing 😍

He's just the sweetest boy ever to you, he's so nervous around you too, so 80% of the time he just giggles when he sees you, not in a mean way, like a nervous way!

he just is always grabbing your hand like no acceptions. Sleeping? No, Hunter has a grab on your hand. Cooking? No. Hunter still has a hold on your hand. Its so cute though that you let it slide LMFAO.

she’d feel absolutely terrible and so ashamed of herself for the fact that you felt the need to protect yourself from her. amity would never hurt you and she thought you knew that — but clearly she was wrong. she’ll stop whatever it is she’s doing and will immediately tear up and start apologising, practically sobbing when she decides to walk away. she doesn’t want to scare you any further so she’ll remove herself from the situation until you’re ready to talk to her — but she may never forgive herself for making you fear her. she feels like her mother and she hates it.

Gus Porter

he has no idea how to react to you flinching away from him because nobody has ever been that scared around him before. and the fact that it’s happening with you makes him feel a thousand times worse. gus stumbles over his words and his feet as he rushes to comfort you and apologise, promising to never do what scared you again for as long as he lived — just please look at him. does a lot of work to make sure this never happens again, but carries the guilt of it around with him for a long time afterwards.

Hunter Wittebane

he’ll freeze on the spot when he sees you cowering away from him and flinching away from his touch — you look so much like he did back when he was under his uncle’s control. and that breaks his heart. he doesn’t know what to say to make it better and he feels so disgusted with himself that he can’t comprehend it. he’d probably end up fetching darius or a friend to comfort you whilst removing himself — but i don’t think this is something he’d be able to recover from any time soon.

Luz Noceda

she’ll immediately stop what she’s doing and go to comfort you. she’s fearful and apologising, repeating that she never meant to scare you and that she’d never hurt you — not in a billion years. luz is so gentle with you whilst she’s trying to calm you down from your fear, in her faint touches and shaky but loving voice, and she’s successful. she talks you down and you two have a conversation about boundaries and concerns so you never have to experience this again.

Willow Park

she knows that she can be intimidating sometimes, but she never thought that there was even a possibility of you being afraid of her — which was clearly a miscalculation on her end. her immediate response is to stop talking and assess the situation before going to comfort you. willow coaxes you into looking at her so she can apologise properly and she’ll ask if you want to talk about it. but either way she’s as patient as ever and accepts her part in your response with guilt and grace.

So I’ve been thinking, after Eda brings back human y/n and Hunter back from Belo’s mind. Instead of Hunter running away to wherever in panic, he stays the night at the Owl House 😱. Sleepover in living room 😴 , y/n finds a some old corny romance film ❤️ 🎞 for them to watch that was buried in Eda’s human junk. Then Hunter and y/n have some sorta heart to heart talk when everyone’s asleep about how they’ll stick together and idk 🤷‍♀️ it’ll be all blushy blushy cuz they have a crush on each other 😩 ❤️

Hunter paused as you fell asleep against him. At first you had just sat him down with you so you could watch a movie. But as you were watching and it got later your head leaned against his shoulder afraid he'd run away if you didn't keep constant contact. Blushing he realized it was also because he'd asked for you to be close and not leave him after what had just transpired in Beloses mind. When you'd all woken up with Edas help you grabbed him before he could run and he had collapsed in your arms a mess of emotions.

He was still a mess of emotions. However, as his hands hovered awkwardly over your sleeping form he was regretting this decision. Not because you were here of course but... this. This was improper.

Staring up at the ceiling his uncles talks about touching and pre martial touching came to mind, bouncing around his head. How this was sinful and how indulgence of the flesh lead to wild and wreckless behavior. But his uncle had lied. His uncle was wrong. And he liked your touch. This wasn't sinful... It was soft and gentle and unlike anything he'd ever felt before. You were unlike anything he'd ever known before.

Swallowing Hunters eyes glanced at you nervously before he slowly lowered his hands. One rested on your back while the other gently went through your hair grounding him. You hummed in your sleep making him stiffen as he thought he did something wrong but then you snuggled closer and all the tension left his body as he went limp under your sleeping form.

Humming softly to ease his troubled mind, the movie you'd put on earlier was still playing. Luz had mentioned it was an old favorite before she drifted off and that Hunter would like it. She wasn't wrong as the boy was pretty enraptured. All the people on Edas screen had round ears and their outside world was full of green just like his uncle said. He chuckled softly remembering the stories Belos used to tell him, before he flinched violently remembering being hit for asking too many questions. How Belos had hurt him time and time again. How Hunter allowed it to happen because he thought it was right.

It wasn't right.

"... Hunter?" It was slurred and quiet but the moment he heard it the boy realized his mistake.

"I'm sorry, go back to bed." You make a sleepy sound leaning into his shoulder before you slowly pull away. He twitches, his hand reaching out for you as he wanted to pull you back. He wanted to keep you safe and close and warm forever and never let you go. He never wanted you to face what he had.

But you'd been in the Emperor's mind and you'd seen the horrors that resided there. There was no going back now.

"Wat time is it?" You're still slurring as he stews in his thoughts but he can tell it's not purposeful. As you rub at your eyes and yawn he reaches out but stops. Feeling unsure Hunters hand hovers as he watches you slowly wake up. He wants to rub your shoulders and arm, soothe you back to sleep but he hesitates. He puts his hand to his side before stiffening as you lean against his shoulder again. Your eyes glance at the clock before you let out a yawn. "It's late. Why are you awake?" You question gently looking up at him from your resting position.

"I Ummmm... well..." Stuttering out a weak response you hum in understanding.

"Can't sleep because your thinking about things?" You question softly. Looking away as he thinks about what to say back he pauses as Flapjack flies Infront of his face and pulls on his long loose hair strand.

"Hey not now bird!" He whines trying to smack Flapjack away but the palismen doesn't listen and tugs at Hunter again. Hunter groaning follows the tug only to realize Flapjack is pulling him towards you. Bringing you closer. FlapJack once satisfied let's go and lands in your hair much to your surprise. He chirps something you can't understand but it makes you giggle regardless.

Hunter loved your laugh.

You can't understand FlapJack but Hunter is starting too. Hearing his companion speak about you makes him pause. His eyes widen in surprise as his face darkens and you smile in response, your gaze going from the bird to Hunter.

"Whenever you're ready Hunter. I'll listen." You state before shifting to put your full weight on him. Hunter swallowed hand hovering and hesitating before you took it in your own and intertwined your fingers. You kept looking up at him but soon your breathing was shallow, your grip loose despite his tight hold, and your eyes fluttered shut. He held you close letting you lean on his chest where it was more comfortable as he pulled up a spare blanket for the both of you.

As FlapJack settled from his perch on your shoulder to Hunters head the boy swallowed. He wasn't ready. Not yet. But someday... He would be. And you'd be right there with him.

“Hoot hoot! Practice every day, or I'll appear in your nightmares.” the bird said in the tablet, “Oh, okay. Well, I'm going to pick Luz up from school. Pop quiz. ¿Como se dice eso en español?” She asked, looking at the kids. (How do you say that in Spanish?)

Hunter stands up, “Oh, oh! Uh..” He inhales, and tries to speak spanish but fails. “.Voy a recoger a Luz de la escuela. (I am going to pick up Luz from school.)” Vee says, looking at Camila. 

“Muy bueno! Keep it up.” Camila says, and then turns to leave the shack, and sighs, “I never expected to be a mother of six.” She says, walking off to pick up Luz. 

Hunter sits down to to Gus as everyone resumes learning spanish, from the tablet. Flapjack is still pecking on the floor.  

“Taxi.” 

Taxi!

“El gato gordo.” 

“El gato gordo!” 

Amity sighs, “Maybe we should take a break.” She says, and Willow smiles, “A siesta.” Willow says, and Gus repeats what she says, “Siesta!” He says, and Amity looks at him, “We've been here for months, and we've made no progress on the portal door. We can't expect Camila to take care of us forever.” Amity says, and the others look at him. 

“In the meantime, we could pull more weight around the kitchen. My mustard ravioli did bring tears to her eyes.” Gus says, smiling, and Vee looks at him. “Those weren't the kind of tears you're thinking of.” Vee says, looking at him. Hunter then appears holding a jacket he made, with multiple patches with exposed stitching, “I can help fixed damaged clothes!” Hunter says, smiling. Willow holding up a plant mosnter, “I can spruce up the garden!” Willow says, and the plant mosnter growls at Vee. 

“Maybe we need to look elsewhere. There's an entire Human Realm to search.” Amity says, she flinches when Willow takes a picture of her. “But Luz has school most of the week.” Willow says, looking at him, and Amity looks at him, “So? Let's explore the town ourselves. After all, Luz went into the Boiling Isles on her own.” Amity says, looking at the others. 

“If Eda came here before, maybe there were others. Maybe they left something behind we can use.” Gus said, and Amity looked towards him, “Yes! That's the spirit! Together, there is no challenge that can hold us back.” She says, looking at him and Amity then trips in a hole Flapjack pecks and faceplants. 

“Ow.” Amity groans, and Gus shouts, “It's a sign! We're doomed!” He says. Amity sits up and looks at Flapjack, “Come on Flapjack, this isn't funny anymore.” She says, looking at him and once she gets her foot free, she sees something in the hole. She gasps, “There's something in here.” She says, and holds up a hexagonal box, opens it and takes out a scroll, and unrolls it and all gasp. 

“Hmm. Looks like a map?” [Y/n] says, tilting her head as she looks at it, “Or a secret code?” Willow says, and Flapjack twitters and lands on Hunter’s shoulder, “Flapjack, is this what you've been looking for? What does it lead to?” He asked, looking at his palisman. 

“That eye, it kinda looks like the old portal door.” Amity says, and Gus and Willow gasps and look at each other, “The portal door! Portal door! Portal door! Portal door!” Willow and Gus, chant. 

“Let's tell Luz.” Vee says, and Amity looks at her, “What if it's just another dead end? She already feels responsible for our other failed attempts.” She says, and Willow looks at her, “Then, let's not tell her until we can figure it out. Using our buff brains!” Willow says, and everyone says the same thing. 

Next Day

“All right. Luz is at her mom's vet clinic putting tiny little bandages on "hedgehogs." So today, we're going into town to solve this code.” Amity says, looking at the others, “Ears.” Gus said, covering up his ears, “Routes.” Vee says. 

[Y/n] then uses her magic to get a side of the purple side of her face, “Snacks, check.” Willow says, holding her bag of snacks. “Human disguise, check. Eh?” Hunter says, wearing what was basically a costume, [Y/n] chuckled softly. 

“Oh, that is a look.” She says, using the polaroid and taking a picture of Hunter, Hunter walks between Gus and Vees, the former looking amazed, “According to Cosmic Frontier, this is what the modern human male wears.” He says, and Vee looks at the book, “This was written in the '90s about the year 2008.” Vee said, looking at him. “Yeah. Can't wait for that New Year's party.” He said, Gus looked at him, “And did you get to the last chapter?” Gus asked, looking at him, “O'Bailey is still hiding the fact that he's a Duplicant in

hyper disguise. But Captain Avery is figuring it out.” Hunter says, “I think he already knows but-” Gus says but is interrupted by Hunter. 

“Ah, bup-bup-bup! No, no, no, no, no spoilers!” Hunter says, looking at him, “Hunter, I don't think the world is ready for the brave fashion choices of the year 2008. Please change.” Amity says, and Willow gags Amity, “Don't listen to her!” Willow says, looking at Hunter. 

Vee taking her human form, “Aw, geez, we're gonna miss the bus.” Vee says, and Hunter looks at them, “Oh, it's okay! I'll catch up. There's a transport worm every half hour.” He says, and the girls nods, and leave, Ghost meowing as she joins Amity, [Y/n] turns back and closes the door.

"I'm gonna borrow that book when you're done with it." [Y/n] says, looking at him making a finger gun and winks. As she closes the door, Hunter sports a happy blush as he removes his headphones. Flapjack twitters.

"You know, maybe you're right, Flap." Hunter says, as he looks at himself in the mirror, "Even if I'm not who I'm supposed to be... I like who I am right now." He says, and then he notices something on the table and touches it, then he sees Belos in the mirror reflection. He gasps.

Amity, Gus, Y/n, Vee, and Willow aere exploring Gravesfield. “First stop, The Magic Circle.” Amity says, as they enter the shop: Gus and Willow look around while Amity and Vee question the cashier. [Y/n] looks around curiously, but nothing is catching her eye. Until she notices, a star shaped necklace with a crescent moon her eyes look at it in wonder and she takes it.  

“Hey!” the cashier shouted, Gus knocks over a barrel as Willow in devil costume, pokes a customer with a pitchfork. The kids are chasing out, but Willow returns to pay for the costume and the necklace she noticed [Y/n] had picked up, with two snails then leaves again. 

They cut through a park, and Willow, Gus, and [Y/n} stood at two familiar-looking statues. The kids all go to the library next, where Amity sees a card catalog. She expected it to be living and greets it and bows, and gives it candy which falls to the ground. A child then opens one drawer, and Amity shouts. Embarrassed, she tries to run away and trips on the candy and falls. Then they head to the giraffe exhibit at the zoo. Gus bows to it, with no response. They all leave cautiously, but Willow takes a photo that scares the giraffe which opens its mouth to reveal a monstrous inside. 

They all scream and run off, “I don't blame our ancestors for banishing those guys. Yeesh.” Gus says, and sadly looks towards a child. “Dad, can we go to the bird hall?” A child asks, looking up at their father. “In a minute. How about we eat first?” The dad says. 

Vee sighs, I was hoping it wouldn't come to this, but... I think I know where to go next.” She says, and then they arrive at the Gravesfield Historical Society, “

.the others head inside the building but Vee stands outside, Willow turns to look at her, “You can wait here if it's too scary. Luz told me about that creepy witch-hunter wannabe.” She said, looking at her. 

“It's okay. We just faced down a giraffe. I can do this!” Vee says, and then Vee walks up and kicks down the door fists raised and screaming. “Huh?” She says, looking around and realizing Jacob is no longer here. But instead her Masha from camp, “You're not Jacob.” She says, walking up towards the counter, “We can all thank Goddess for that. He got fired after he started making edits to the exhibits.” Masha says, looking at her. 

They point to a cardboard cutout of Jacob in his armor with a sign that says ‘Local Hero- Humanitys Last and Most Handsome Hope’ the cutout collapses forward. “I work part-time now. Say, have we met?” They asked, and looks closer at Veem “Something about you seems familiar.” They say, looking at her and Vee, nervously chuckles.

“Uh, no. I'm new in town. I just have one of those faces. J-but just the one. The normal amount of face.” Vee says, nervously lookig at them. Masha laughs in response, “What a coincidence, me too. If you ever need a tour guide, hit me up.” They say, looking at her, and they hand a pamphlet to Vee and she takes it, awestruck a blush showing on her cheeks. 

Amity steps out from behind Vee and presents the puzzle, “We're actually here to ask about this old puzzle. Do you know how to decode it?” She asks, “Ooh, a rebus. They dug up a bunch of these in Old Gravesfield.” Masha says, looking at it. 

“This is a rebus?” Gus asks, looking closer at it, “Yeah. It's like a riddle where pictures and symbols make up a word. Like- Come here. What do you think they were trying to say?” They asks, looking at him. 

“Chop off an ear!” He says, holding down his beanie. 

“No. See the H that comes first? Then combine that with the ear and maybe it means "hear" like, to listen. Or, "here" as in a place. Maybe something is waiting somewhere.” They says, and then their phone rings.  “I'll be right back.” They says going into the back. 

Amity looks down at it, “If this is a portal door then what about these? A-a ribbon, and tanning a hide?” She asks, and the others look down at it trying to decode the riddle. “That ribbon is tied together.” Willow says, looking down at it. “Next to that hand with a cut.” [Y/n] says, looking at it. 

“You don't think…” Willow says, looking over at Amity, “This is leading us to…” Gus says, “Tie tan's... blood?” Amity says. 

[Y/n} was in the living room with the others, searching through a box of halloween costumes, “Hey, we're back!” Hunter says, and chuckles, “And we bought some, uh, cars.” He says, and Luz elbows him.

“Luz! We're designing our costumes for the Haunted Hayride.” Amity says, looking at Her, “Guess what I've got planned? I'm gonna be Captain Avery and you're…” Gus says, Hunter then gasps, “Chief Engineer O'Bailey?” He  says, and Camila gulps, “How do you know about Cosmic Frontier?” She asks, nervously. 

“All the books in your basement.” Hunter says, looking at her, “Oh!  Funny how things just show up in basements, right? Without you hiding or putting them there. Life sure is full of surprises.

“Cool! Humans freak out just like us.” Gus says laughing. “It'll be fun. We want to experience your weird human traditions.” Willow says, and she puts on vampire teeth and laughs. 

[Y/n] smiles, finding a pair of wolf ear hair clips and putting them on with a curious smile. "I'm going as a wolf." She said, looking into the and seeing the wolf tail."And I thought you and I could take inspiration from...Good Witch Azura The Movie 2: The Betrayanning!" Amity says, pointing the remote at the television.  And pressing the button, playing the movie.

"Hecate! I'll protect you!" Azura says, holding an unconscious Hecate in her arms, "Give her over, Azura. It's for your own good." Villounious Lucy, said looking down at the witch.

"Never!" Azura shouted, looking at the villain.

I could be the Hecate to your Azura. What do you think?" Amity asks, holding up a drawing and walking towards Luz. "Oh, wow. Yeah, let's do it!" Luz says, happy as she pulls Amity into a hug. 

"How could you do it, Villainous Lucy? How could you betray your friends? Now everyone is gone!" Azura shouted, looking at Lucy. 

"It was for the greater good." Lucy says, looking at her.

"We'll never forgive you. Never!" Azura shouted.

Later that night, [Y/n] lay fast asleep on the mattress on the ground in Luz and Vee's room, stars floating around her head as she slept peacefully. Snoring softly, she nuzzled her head into the blanket. Amity shooed away some of the stars as they floated around her face, groaning and turning over to her side.

Next DAy

Camila dropping everybody off. Amity, Y/n, Gus, and Hunter, true to their word are dressed as Hecate, Wolf, Captian Avery, and Chief Engineer O'Bailey. While Willow's wearing the devil costume she bought. After walking forward and pocketing their palismen, Luz gets out, her Azura costume. "Make sure to help Vee with the trick-or-treaters. You know, they can be... demanding." Luz says, looking at her mom.

"Luz, are you okay? You don't look so well." Camila asks, looking at her daughter.

“I was just so excited for this, I couldn't sleep.” Luz says, nervously. 

“All right. We'll keep the puzzle a secret 'till the time is right. And then we'll tell her about the Titan Blood!” Amity says, to the others. Belos laughing in the distance, and Hunter turns to look towards the woods, “Did you hear that?” He asks, looking at Flapjack, who chirps in response. 

“Hey, it's okay. It's probably just in my head again. Nestle down, Flapjack.” He says, and he chirps.”We're gonna have the best night, and we might even have a surprise for you.” Amity says, to Luz, and the others start walking towards a stage. 

“Yeah, me too.” Luz says, sadly. 

“I hath seen the Mrs. Smith consorting with spirits unpure.” Actor 1 says, acting out the scene of a witch trial, “ Is this true, Mrs. Smith?” actor 2 asked. 

“Nay, 'tis a fool lie! Inquisitor Jones is tarring me a demon's varlet so as to take mine fields!” Mrs. Smith says, and the actor 1 points at her, “Demon lies!” Shouts. 

“Your honor, I do object! It is Inquisitor Jones who's in league with the dark forces!Gus says, going on stage, and the actor 1 looks at the kid, “Kid, come on, this is my spotlight.” the actor says, and then Gus uses his illusion magic. And the crow cheers.

“Why are you clapping? These children are demon spawns. And they want your teeth! Look! Look at his ears! He's from Mars!” Jacob shouts, as he runs on stage and grabs Gus. 

“Hey, lay off the costume, man.” He says,and the two guards tackle Jacob to the ground. They walk towards the haunted hayride, and sit down, “I hope you're all prepared for a truly scary ride.” Masha says, to them. “Make us cry! Make us cry!” Willow and Gus chant, and Masha looks at them,

“Because there's nothing scarier than knowledge.” Masha says, and Gus looks at them, “Boo, just lie to me!” Gus says.

"Let me tell you the eeriest unsolved mystery of Gravesfield. The Tale of the Brothers Wittebane." Masha says, and the group becomes intrigued. Amity looks at Luz and Hunter, "Wittebane? Isn't that Belos?" She asks, looking at them.

"The year is 1613. Two orphaned brothers arrive in Gravesfield. Their names. Phillip and Caleb." Masha says, and Hunter looks at them nervously, "Oh, no." He said nervously.

As Masha narrates the story, cardboard cutouts depicting events that happened to Phillip and Caleb play out in the background as the gang watches.

"Caleb did his best to take care of his younger brother. They tried to fit in with this town, and its unsavory practices." Masha said, narrating each part of the story.

" They became witch-hunters! Local lore suggests that the Brothers Wittebane met a real witch from another world! Her name was Evelyn."

"And the older brother was spirited away. She dazzled him with magic and visions of a strange yet beautiful place. They used a secret code to travel between worlds."

"Philip set off to save his brother and bring the witch to justice. But neither were ever seen again! Maybe Philip saved Caleb, and they went on to lead peaceful lives. Or maybe" They said, turning on the flashlight on their face. "he's still chasing his brother, caught in a cycle of horror and strife!" They said, and the group gasps

Masha turns off the flashlight, "Sounds like big bro got a hot witch girlfriend and little bro got upset. But that's just me." They say, and the hayride ends and the gang gets out of the tractor. Nearby Hunter hears Belos laughing, which terrifies him.

Hunter gasps, "Luz." He grabs Luz and takes her behind a tractor. Luz yelps, "What's going on?" She asks, looking at him, "It's him. He's here! I saw him this time. And it wasn't in my head after all. You believe me, right?" He asks, looking at her.

"Well, how can you be sure? What would he be doing here?" She asks, looking at him and he hesitates for a moment, "Titan Blood. I'm not supposed to tell. But the secret code that guide mentioned? It's a puzzle, a rebus we found in the shack. Amity thinks it leads to Titan Blood!" He says, to her.

"Titan Blood? Puzzles? Amity? Why didn't anyone say anything?" She asks, in shock looking at him, "You and your mom do so much for us. We wanted to do something for you, and she's gonna surprise you with it tonight." He says, looking at her, and she looks at him uncertainly, "That is so sweet." She says.

"Hey, where's Luz and Hunter?" Amity says, looking around. Hunter and Luz look at each other, "We need to find the Titan Blood first. Just to make sure. I don't wanna freak anyone out yet." Luz says, looking at him.

Hunter frowns annoyed and angry, "You don't believe me yet, do you? Fine. I'll prove he's here." He says, and looks down at Flapjack, "Flapjack!" He whispers shouts and Flapjack chirps, "Can you get the rebus?" He asks, and Flapjack chirps.

"I'll say that again."  His voice, distorted with Belo's voice, "Get the rebus!" He shouts, and Flapjack chirps flying off and getting the rebus out of Amity's pocket.

“Hey! What the heck?” Luz says, looking at Hunter in shock. He looks at her shakingly, “Sorry. I don't know what came over me.” He says, looking at her and Flapjack places the rebus on his lap. 

“Good work.” He says, and Hunter and Luz run toward the woods. Hunter is getting further and further away from Luz, and he looks down at the bandage from his finger, noticing the green goo.”What the…” He says and sees an image of Belos in the woods. Luz not far behind him, “There!” He shouts and runs off panting. 

“Hunter!” Luz shouted, panting as she ran after him, but stopped for a moment to catch her breath. “Hunter! Think. Think. Hunter is following the rebus to Titan's Blood. But how can I find the blood without him? Come on. You can do this.” She says, and gasps. 

“Glyphs are powered by the magic of the isles, by the Titan itself! The closer I am to the Titan Blood, the stronger the glyphs become.” She says, as she draws light glyphs and uses them as a guide to get closer to the Titans’ blood. 

“Luz? Hunter?” [Y/n] calls out, looking around for her friends. “Did you find them?” Amity asks, and [Y/n] and the others shake their heads. “Calm down. They probably just went to buy some more cars.” Gus says, trying to calm Amity down, “Yeah. Yeah. You're right. I just- I wanted to show Luz the rebus. Wait. Where did it go?” She said, in shock realizing that it was missing. 

Everyone gasps, and Camila pulls up in her car along with Vee, and both get out. “Kids! Have you seen Luz? And has she, um, said anything weird?” Camila asks, looking at the kids, and Vee pulls out her phone. 

“Boom! Find a phone.” Vee says, and the phone starts beeping. 

Luz arrives at an old graveyard and sees Hunter standing on top a hill in the middle. She uses, her magic making an ice bridge to get across, “Hunter, are you okay? Did you see Belos?” She asked, looking at him, and Hunter kept his back towards her, not making eye contact. 

“Oh, no. Just my imagination playing tricks again. Why don't you find the Titan Blood while I find my palisman? Little guy got spooked off.” He says, and Luz looks around for the Titans Blood. 

“Good idea. All this Belos talk has me on edge. But I hate to ruin Amity's surprise. I really appreciate that everyone wanted to do this. You guys are great friends.” She says, walking around, “Have you found the blood yet?” He asks, and she looks toward him. 

“I'm on it. I just have to-” She says, kneeling down and her eyes widened seeing, Flapjack hiding behind a gravestone, trembling. “Flapjack? Why do you look so scared?” She asks, looking at him, “Didn't you use an ice glyph to get here? Your magic is working.” ‘Hunter’ said, his voice distorted sounding like Belos. 

“Luz? I think she's this way.” Amity said, across the river and walking down the path and getting closer, to where she was. “Mija?” Camila shouted, “Hunter?” [Y/n} shouted, in the distance, everyone searching for their friends. Luz looked towards, ‘Hunter’, “Guys, where are you?” Gus shouted, in the distance their voices getting louder and louder. 

‘Hunter’ looked down at Luz, “I saw you. Glyphs do work here.” He said, his voice distorted, “You. You survived.” She said, in shock looking up at him, “I did. Thanks again for all the help, Luz. But I don't need you anymore.” He said and outstretched his arm to attack Luz, but she dodge. Falling to the ground. Her hat falling off. 

Flapjack landed beside her, “Flapjack!” She said, holding him, and placing him on her shoulder. They watched as ‘Hunter’, shoved his hand into the ground pulling out the Titan’s blood, lifting it up above him, and smiling, “Ah. There you are.” ‘Hunter’ said, smiling, and the vial is then knocked out of his hand by an ice spike. Luz launches more glyphs at him but all of her attacks miss. 

“You're not even trying right now. What? Afraid you'll hurt him?” He asked, looking at her, and finally, everyone arrives and sees what had been happening before them, “Is that Hunter?” She asks, in shock seeing him. 

“Something's wrong.” [Y/n] said, seeing what had happened to Hunter, 'Hunter' smiled “See, this is why you're so useful, Luz. You're so desperate to help people, you even helped me meet the Collector.” He said, looking at her and Amity looked up in shock, “What?” Amity said, and Luz looked at him. “I didn't mean to. I thought I was doing something good!” Luz said, looking at him.

'Hunter' smiled at her evily, "You did do something good. I thought this one was another lost cause." He said, as he looked down at his hands. Then back up at Luz, "Because of you, we can finish our work as witch-hunters, starting with them!" He shouted, as he reaches for the witches, but Amity summons her palisman to swat away his hand. Gus and Willow also summon their palismen to fly and attack, 'Hunter'. But he manages to swat away one of Gus' illusions.

'Hunter' laughs, "Hey, Belos. Remember me?" Gus said, and Helos tried once again to grab Gus, only to grab another illusion, as Willow grabs one of his stretched arms and slams it down. Vee leaps over the stretched-out arm, landing on her feet, "Hang tight, Hunter!" Vee said, as she starts draining his magic with her powers.

"Vee, watch out!" Amity shouted, flying towards her and tackling her out of the way, Gus grunts, as they all land on the opposite side of the lake. St

[Y/n] looks down at everyone then back over at 'Hunter' across the lake. First, he lied and now he had the gull to posse Hunter? He had another thing coming. She balled her hands up into fists, and she started levitating, her teeth were clenched and she had an angry look on her face. She flew towards him swiftly, she was about to attack.

'Hunter' grabbed her by the neck, "Y/n!" Everyone shouted, and she struggled, gasping for air as he tightened his grip, "Surprised to see you here." He said, and she groaned as she placed both her hands on his wrist, and they glowed.

"I know you can hear me, Hunter. Fight him off!" [Y/n] said, looking at him, struggling. "You know, your really starting to get on my nerves." He said, lifting her high up from the ground. She then aims the palm of her hand at his face, and a tiny explosion emits from her palm. Stunning and dazing, him causing him to let go.

She falls to the ground coughing, and her entire body shakes for a moment. 'Hunter' groans, and his gaze immediately shifted back towards her, "Why you littl-" He shouted, she didn't have any time to react, everything seemed to move in slow motion. Her eyes widened, as one of his

outstretched arms came towards her this time. Grabbing her forcefully by the face, his claws digging into her flesh.

She screamed in pain, and all 'Hunter' could do was let out a small chuckle, and she was flung her towards the almost portal-like arch way. "Y/n?!" Everyone shouted, as her body landed on the ground like a rag doll. A groan escaped her lips, as she struggled to stand back up but collapsed.

Flapjack starts chirping and pecking at 'Hunter's' antlers, but the latter immediately catches him. "That's right. You wouldn't want me harming your precious palisman, would you?" He said, holding the palisman in his hand. the others look at him in shock.

"Oh, but then again, I don't care what you want. Goodbye, Evelyn." He says, squeezing Flapjack, causing him to crack and starts to absorb his essence, but lets him go as Hunter comes back. and starts fighting over the control of his body.

Flapjack then weakly flies into Luz' palm while leaking palisman essence from the cracks in his body, he let out tinly gaps and groans, as he looked up at Luz weakly. Luz had tears in her eyes as she looked down at him, "Flapjack! Flapjack, you'll be okay." She said, crying.

Hunter groaned, as he punched himself in the face as he fought for the control over his body back. Falling to the groaned, as sweat ran down the side of his forehead as he started panting. "You know what I'd like, Belos?" He said, standing to his feet and letting out another groan, as Belos fought for control over Hunter's body. Hunter placed his right arm over his left, holding it down.

"I'd like to leave the Emperor's Coven and never step foot in that throne room again. I'd like to study wild magic, and learn how to carve palismen." He said, as he walked down towards the lake, the other's watching.

"I'd like to attend Hexside as a regular student and play flyer derby with my friends. I'd like to stargaze with Y/n. But most of all, I'd like to make sure you never hurt anyone again!" He shouted, grunting as he throws the vial of Titan's blood into the river.

"No!" Belos shouted, still inside Hunter's body, and jumps into the water, managing to catch the vial but falling unconscious. [Y/n] who laid across the stream unconscious, a single tear rolled down her cheek as she laid on the ground.

"Oh, no! No!" Luz shouted, worriedly, "Move." Camila said, she jumps into the water to save him and manages to rescue him and host Hunter into the surface. "Be careful with him!" Willow says, and Belso finally leaves Hunter's body as he takes the monstrous form he previously had.

"Caleb! You would stab me in the back?!" He shouted, and Luz stares at him angrily, "You did it to him first." She says, looking at him.

Belos, outraged, smashes the vial of Titans' blood into the archway, opening a portal to the Demon Realm. a soft groan escaped [Y/n]'s lips, and he turned to look at her and lunged toward her, taking control of her body.

'[Y/n]' stood to her feet and turned to look towards the others, for a split second her eyes faded from blue back there her normal eye color. "Hunter?" She whispered, in her normal voice her heartbreaking seeing him lying lifeless in Willow's arms. "You promised." She whimpered tears in her eyes.

She groaned in pain before Belos took control over her body again, an evil smile formed on her face as she tilted her head to look at the others. "This is for the good of your souls. You'll thank me later." Belos said, as he slowly backed up into the portal taking [Y/n] with him. Everyone was left speechless.
