now i really see how she saw herself in mizi. mizi also had that blind desperation to save others, like how she dove into trying to save till without thought, despite being told it was useless.

hyuna was the same way at first. she tried to go back to anakt with one leg with the notion to save them. it was impossible. she lost her childish desperation, and seeing mizi struggle with the same energy she had previously, motivated hyuna to save her. their stories of being recruited to the rebellion are similar too.

hyuna wasn’t seen as much at first, she was seen as some childish idiot. mizi wasn’t much at first either. mizi was shattered by the recent events of sua’s death, letting her childish emotions take over. they both wanted justice, or rather vengeance, so they acted irrationally. hyuna was saved because of what the previous leader saw in her, and hyuna saved mizi for the same reason. she saw something in her.

reality hit hyuna hard, she doesn’t childishly jump into saving people because she believes it’s impossible to save everyone (hence trying to stop mizi from saving till) but mizi still has that part of her. ooogh hyuna you make me so sad. hyuna became more mature at the expense of her optimism.

i also really like how this comic went a little deeper into her drinking problem. drinking and other substances are obviously how she copes, and i think this shows her slight childishness peeking through.

hyuna doesn’t have a mature facade, she simply has two parts of her—the child and the one who left the child behind. this is what MAKES her matured and mentally strong.

I've been thinking about alien stage and milgram so

All in (Hyuna and Till) but it's with Kotoko and Fuuta

OOHH I've been going crazy over this -- I've only touched on Milgram/Alien Stage aus a bit but now I'm hooked 👀 I was playing around for a while with how to incorporate the song specifically, and had a ton of fun with this lyric/scene experiment, haha! I was shocked at how well the song would suit them even in Milgram canon... I used gender neutral descriptions for the Mizi-character because I'm not sure who people would picture for that role, and wanted to leave it open. Also um. tw major character death :( sorry.

Your eyes grow wide at my dazzling entrance, and your heart beats fast, OK! There's no point fighting back – this is the march of the fools.

The rebel leader stands proudly on the stage. Her followers practically howl at her arrival. Their gathering spot may have been a secret, but they didn’t bother being quiet about their excitement. The tides are turning, and everyone feels it. It doesn’t matter what kind of front the aliens put up; everyone knows the fear that their leader strikes into her enemies. Every planet, moon, and ship knows what she’s capable of. They know that going up against her brass knuckles will only have one outcome for them. No matter the cost, Yuzuriha Kotoko will come out on top.

Endless cheer and applause – I hear the song grow louder and louder. Fill up the entire nebula!

The contestant brings his guitar down with all the force he can muster, sparks flying out and scorching his hands. The audience roars at the display. He’s tired of all those eyes watching him, but at least he’s making them all watch as he destroys some little piece of them. For now, they only find morbid curiosity in his fruitless rage, but someday he’ll sing loud enough, act loud enough, scream loud enough that the galaxy will be forced to hear him. To alien and human alike, the face of Kajiyama Fuuta is an icon of rebellion.

Kotoko’s boot cracks bones on impact. It wasn’t even her steel leg that had rendered her enemy into this mess. The alleyway is too hidden and the neon city street too distracted for anyone to hear the alien’s final cries at her feet. Her team catches up with her, breathless with exertion and shock at the victim she leaves in her wake. As soon as she holds up what they came here to get, all doubt leaves them. Their ship will echo with celebration tonight.

We only get one life, so I'm living mine for me, cause I'm the one from your wildest dreams. I'll create a fantasy in this crazy world and change it all, I'm going all-in. 

“Ha-ha –!” Fuuta hasn’t heard himself laugh in a long time. It isn’t a pleasant sound, and neither is the chaos that follows as the fight escalates. But damn, did it feel good. The lights of the paparazzi blind him as he’s yanked out of a magnetic train car. The crowd deafens him. The aliens around him bruise and break him down. But he holds tight to the things deep in his mind. He imagines himself as a shining hero. He thinks of them – his own hero. He conjures up a world that’s better for both of them. It’s for this reason he wrenches his arm away from those holding him back. Though his collar buzzes with electricity, he takes another swing.

A universe brimming with dreams… Who will remain standing at the end of it all? Don't you wanna know? Caught within rules without rules, a bird is set free. I hear the song grow louder, fill up the entire nebula!

As the glass shatters around her, Kotoko can’t help but savor the moment suspended in the air. Given her many escapes over the years, she hadn’t been worried about making it out in one piece. And yet her heart races each time she tastes freedom again. She lands on her feet, pausing to make sure her newest recruit is keeping up. Kotoko flashes a wide, toothy smile at them, and they return it shakily. They seem a bit shaken by all the blood that had been spilled on the way, but Kotoko is proud of how quickly they’ve adapted to this liberated lifestyle. She’s riding the thrill of success, knowing she’s changed the outcome of Alien Stage once again. Another weak human saved from their captors. Another victory.

Smoke chokes Fuuta’s lungs, but it doesn’t hold him back. The private dinner room is full of the rich and powerful as they eat, smoke, and laugh at humans’ expense. They place bets on the upcoming competition rounds. They harass Fuuta to perform for them, eyes of all shapes and colors boring into him. Through the haze and dim lights, the spark of resistance is burning as bright as always. He dares to talk back at a figure who is not used to being talked back to. Fuuta dodges a few strikes, even getting in a few kicks of his own before he’s overwhelmed with a blow to his right eye.

Kotoko tries to hide her snarl at the massive advertisement screens they pass. Even flying by at these speeds, she gets a clear look at the Alien Stage champion and his coy smile. It churns her stomach. She had always wondered why any contestant would willingly stand up there and sing, knowing it would get someone else killed. They were complicit in murder, if you asked her. But this man – his actions were far more than “complicit.” The face of a tiny girl flashes through her mind. For a moment, she’s lost in a vision of the girl by her side – still laughing, still carefree in the world that Kotoko is working towards. Reality returns to her. She discharges her weapon directly into an alien’s face.

Every obstacle in my way, I've crushed them all. Step all over me but I'll rise again. It's you who's in the wrong, bet you had no idea.

The lights go up, and Fuuta sways on his feet. He finds himself instantly winded as he starts to sing. The heat from the show’s pyrotechnics make him even dizzier. His good eye surveys the crowd. He would not let these villains win. They took the people he cared about. They took the people who cared about him. Hell, they even took his guitar. He knows that by the end, they’ll take his life, too. It’s all the more reason to continue. He sees now that his intensity had inspired others, even if it hadn’t saved them. Fuuta refuses to go down quietly. He refuses to stop singing. He opens his mouth:

“Hey!”

Kotoko shouts it after the new recruit, but their mind is made up. She’s left clutching at her injury and frantically typing on the huge machine, trying to complete their original mission. The screen streaming the event flashes with images of the redhead pouring his heart out onstage. Kotoko lets out a strangled sound of frustration and stands to follow.

Blood pools around the losing contestant. All that shouting and he can’t even choke out a goodbye, now. The intruder stands in the one place she spent her life fighting tooth and nail to escape forever. They lock eyes. They’d only heard accounts of the other, but in that brief moment, they understand. They are just two humans, two loud humans, who had a vision of how bright the universe could be someday. Despite it all, they both ended up here, doomed to die on this stage after singing out to an uncaring audience. Fuuta’s gaze slips away. He offers one last smile to his hero. For the first and last time, he is content.  Kotoko turns her attention away from them, to the audience. She clenches her fists and feels very far from content.

There was something different about today's season and it all had to do with the missing contestants.

The perfect human pet and first human brand ambassador model, Ivan, running away with the notorious hard-headed pet, Till.

Or as the aliens say that Ivan got kidnapped away by Till. They were rather outraged at that and signed petitions to kill Till to rescue perfect little Ivan (seriously that guys fanclub could rival Luka's and he hasn't been a stage contestant yet)

Hyuna would say the aliens exaggerated until she actually managed to see Till dragging Ivan in chains. Ivan looks out of it (was he drugged?).

The way Till looked at Ivan sent shivers down Hyuna's spine. It was a gaze of obsession so similar to Luka's.

Hyuna watched from a distance as Till placed his hands on Ivan's neck in a choke and brought him to smash their lips together (seriously in the open?! As a wanted criminal and his kidnapped victim? Is this Till guy insane?)

"Till- wait!" That Ivan spluttered and Hyuna understands because fucking in the desert is still not comfortable.

Then Hyuna had the misfortune to step on a rock and cursed out loud.

Till guy wasn't happy to see her nor with Ivan's reaction upon seeing and recognizing her.

For Time Loop AU - Hyuna stumbling upon them and Till going (almost, since she's smart enough to keep her distance in this case; Luka flashbacks are entirely unwelcome but very helpful) full yandere? Would that snap Ivan to finally see that this *is* reality now? (How bizarre.)

And whatever's going on with the competition?

hyuna thinks that something freaky is going on there 100%. chains and cuffs? dead giveaway.

till would be feral. idk, maybe he has a gun and points it at hyuna, warning her. ivan's watching from behind till, eyes wide, whispering that maybe they shouldn't kill hyuna who's most likely a key human figure in stopping the competition.

speaking of, everything is in shambles. during mizi and sua's performance, its found that till and ivan are missing, thereby saving sua from her impending doom. the alien owners are not happy, either, because they invested a lot into the series.

anyways ivan becomes delusion free when till increases security after hyuna's appearance, even attaching a collar and leash to ivan. thats because ivan suggested they go follow hyuna to her base. till threatens him and becomes a tad more possessive, even biting his neck and leaving bruises and hickeys. idk guys im tired a bit sick and i think tillivan would be into sm play. yeah, ivans a masochist, we been knew

thinking abt how ivan wears white in the “soon” post. the one who usually wears black. and till usually wears white or bright colours. so till wearing black… ugh.

something will definitely happen. i mean that’s been obvious since day 1 but something will happen.

the general consensus is that ivan will die. but i find if till dies it’ll have more emotional impact. i know the hints are all at ivan dying but i think it’d be more shocking, and might work more storytelling wise if till died.

i’m pretty sure hyuna+gang will be late to rescue either of them as alien stage is grim, and having more rescued people than needed in the storytelling isn’t gonna hold up (in my opinion) esp for a story like alien stage.

if ivan dies, till either has a moment where “he lost his friend”, without ever knowing about ivan’s feelings (or only in the last moment), and he’ll carry on with mizi and they rebel against the alien government. the loss will affect him, sure, but not as devastatingly as ivan losing till would be.

if till dies, ivan will have to go through the same grief mizi did, and they might bond over that. mizi might help ivan regain his life (if that makes sense), and they might work together to rebel against the alien govt. or ivan faces against luka, which i find way more plausible.

but at the same time, till and luka facing have that personality clash. tho i don’t think it’ll happen since till is very, very likely to join mizi after hearing abt the rebellion

ivan on the other hand is less likely to join and has a bigger chance of winning against luka. i don’t think till stands a chance against him, since luka is calculated and will use everything against him - till is too impulsive. they both sing with compassion but i think ivan just sings with more, y’know

there’s also the “mizi and sua wearing black and white as well” which i think is just to mislead us. though everything is possible (if you don’t know, in round one sua wears white, mizi wears black. sua dies and mizi grieves. though thinking about this more, dead people are usually portrayed in white and grieving people are portrayed in black. so again who knows)

this is just a drabble of my thoughts i might be wrong or i might predict it. tldr i think its more likely that ivan loses till and has a higher chance against luka

lips, hips, & bras

a gentle morning wind flows through the window, twirling the sheer curtains; they pirouette to the calm music spilling throughout hyuna’s apartment.

“red or pink?”

“red.”

you sit with hyuna, legs intertwined, carefully twisting the tube of cherry red tint to spread across the delicate length of her lips. leaning forward half in your lap, she pouts out her lips in an exaggerated ‘kissy’ face, earning a giggle from you.

the moment you and hyuna met you instantly clicked. there was a mutual feeling of a strong bond bubbling that you both could feel. she wasn’t just your best friend. she was your companion in a journey that started with the soul and ended far beyond physicality. like you were platonic soulmates. two peas in a pod, you thought to yourself.

“ooh! we should match! what about flowers?” you say giddily.

“yes, yes, yes!” she gasps.

you turn away from her for a moment to pay attention to the battlefield of opened palletes, brushes, and lipsticks strewn across the floor around you. hyuna’s milky soft skin melts into you as you shift lightly between her legs; both of you sitting in just your undergarments.

at first glance, it would seem as though you two were a couple just by the way you were so comfortable with each other, but that was far from the truth. she’d probably sell you for a lollipop.. she had dawn and you had someone of your own. if we’re being honest here, dawn was purely oblivious to everything; but probably wouldn’t care either way, knowing that hyuna and him have a strong trust in each other.

“how about white and red flowers? to match your lips?”

“you’re such an artist, y/n,” she giggles.

“ah well thank you, i’m just tuning into my picasso instincts,” you two laugh at the statement.

“i’ll give you some green and blue flowers, i know they’re your favourite colors.”

“oh my gosh you remember?” you dramatically gasp and fake cry, cueing hyuna to playfully slap your shoulder.

“yeah, of course dum-“ the sound of keys thrashing against the metal of the door breaks the ethereal atmosphere, and that’s when you and hyuna realize—it’s dawn; and you’re still in bras with half done makeup on.

[Hyuna] Her partner is dumbfounded on their wedding night when they realise that Hyuna, for all her confidence and bragging, is a virgin.

To say that you are surprised would be an understatement. She quickly reassures you that “it’s not I haven’t done anything” but still, you’re surprised. Well, clothes do not make the person, as they say.

She looks at you with wide eyes before asking you if you’re disappointed. You quickly put your arms around her, hugging her tight, shaking your head in disbelief.

You could never be disappointed by her. It doesn’t matter, you say. What matters is now, it’s the both of you, finally married. You tell her that she has no pressure to feel at all; you might end up doing it tonight, you might end up doing it in years, or not at all. No problem for you, as long as you’re with her.

Hyuna smiles, a few tears appearing at the corner of her eyes. She’s so glad she married you.

You smiled as her long locks bounced, her hand wrapping around your arm and cuddling into your shoulder. “Please baby, can we please get ice cream?” She batted her lashes and stuck out her bottom lip. “Alright sweetie girl, I’ll get you some ice cream.” Her eyes lit up and she threw her hands up in triumph.

ivan: ...unfortunately, it's the sea witch (sua) i'm most thankful for. otherwise, i wouldn't have been able to see my beloved clearly.

till: my pearl. he's given me a lot of inspiration, from painting to advising me in ruling.

mizi: ^^ i'm thankful for everyone! especially sua... she didn't have to go through so much trouble for ivan. not that ivan's trouble! ir's just, well... magic isn't that easy to wield, especially something fundamental like earning souls and stuff...

till: ...fuck. i hate to admit it, but that bastard (luka) did some good. i'm thankful he put ivan together again, but from what i heard from hyuna, he's not good news.

hyuna: ...luka. i got to see hyunwoo again after so long. i hate to admit it, but he's redeemed himself... as much as a dog-fucking bastard he is.

ivan: ^^ till! and luka! i'm always thankful for till... and luka pieced me together again so i can be with him!

hyuna: god. only god could have spared mercy on all of us and devised a plan to get two oblivious idiots together.

ivan: my friends and boyfriend. i've never had friends before them... and, well, they may be odd but they're really caring. one time, a senior tried to hit on me, and they all managed to fend him off. ...though we did have to stop hyuna from castrating him.

till: sua and hyuna... god, i'm such a mess. ivan's right there, but he doesn't have his memories. if they didn't get me out of that headspace, would we even be together..?

mizi: doesn't it go for both of us..? we're really lucky to have clematis and sara. i might've been able to hold on, but till... well, we really are fortunate that we found them.

sara: my mom! or... other dad? i'm not really sure. but he is really really cool. whenever i'm too sad, or if papa's really tired, if i talk to him or even think about him it really feels like i've been pumped with happiness! papa says it's because he's an angel and doesn't want to see anyone of us sad... so i'm really thankful for him!

clematis: ma! and sara! and till! ma is really strong. did you know that she defeats any robots that find us? and sara is always nice, telling me that my other ma loves me too and that she's also an angel watching us. and till always gives me candy!
