hiiii 3DS tour!!!!

from the day i first got it, i knew to name it Happiness..... nothing deep about it i just wanted to say "my mom took my Happiness away for exam week :("

a bit of a reveal but i'm the anxious sticker placer anon haha it's still plain to this day if not for a few scratches (a lot actually but it's not that noticeable, right? qwq)

the barcode and numbers are super faded i can't read them!! plus the scratches are much more noticeable, im not sure where most of them came from but i remember one of them is when i accidentally dropped a screwdriver on it oops

the cartridge is pokemon black 2!! i've had this game before Happiness. yup i have a metallic rose DS lite that's sooo busted up, (well i had a coral pink DS lite before that but i got mugged when i was like 7 years old and it's gone which is a story for another time)

anyway, metallic rose had dead pixels that spread like some fungus, L button didnt work at all, buttons feel gross to press now, etc yknow normal 7 year old not knowing the value of things thing

i'd send a picture but it's back at my old house, pray that the spiders know how to play dig dig dug

would you ever consider doing video tutorials for knitting? for example i want to learn to knit bust darts (vertical, i'm busty and need more fabric there) but i have not had much luck on youtube. saw one video that showed how to do short row darts but that's not really what i need and even that video wasn't super clear lol. this is not a request for you to do something tedious btw lol i am not trying to pressure you at all, just love your projects and trust your knitting advice ♥️

no lust for video production on the nearish horizon but i can give some illustrated tips for potential next steps for you !! congrats on wanting to try darts, they are one of the most useful things i have figured out how to do. some high level points first:

first, i would say do not dismiss short row darts 😈 i will show you some examples of how i've used them on my projects in an attempt to convince you of this.

second: horizontal darts work so well for me that i have not yet actually worked vertical darts. the premise of vertical darts is using increases and/or decreases to add and remove horizontal inches to the same region.

third! as a busty and somewhat barrel chested broad, who mostly knits zero-to-negative ease, the most consistent fit modification i make is adding extra size under the arms. i'll explain this in my second example.

example A: horizontal bust darts

i learned how to work horizontal bust darts knitting lily kate france's upwards top, which is a fingering weight tank. the extra vertical length, and the angle at which it is formed, create a modest 3d "hill" that adds a little bit of "bonus space" when wrapped around the 3d object of your body.

both the vertical length and the angle can be customized to fit your body. lily kate's formula for fingering weight tops is what i adapted to the dk weight of the love magick using middle school algebra:

pink: total number of stitches from the front section of the upwards top [loose fingering gauge] in my size

green: total number of stitches from the front section of my love magick [loose dk gauge]

blue1; blue2; blue3...: the number of stitches before turning for each dart as given in the upwards top pattern

and of course x1; x2; x3...: the number of stitches i need to work in DK gauge to get the same spacing / angle of darts as i did on the upwards top

the upwards top is not super bra-friendly. i suggest doing what i did and finding a pattern you want to knit that has bust darts built in, and giving it a try!

and to my second high-level point above. i, personally, find the ability to adjust the spacing of horizontal darts more intuitive than vertical ones, and vertical darts aren't as visually appealing in the gauges i typically work in. but sometimes the "bonus space" provided by horizontal darts is not enough to accommodate the extra inches that knitters like you and i need. that brings us to the next modification.

example B: armscye expansion nation

i took these notes after my try-on for my first love magick sweater, which was super tight in the pits and written with an arm circumference that would not work with my body.

notes: - medium fits well through neck and shoulders, but will need much more room in sleeves and arm (med is 2" too short at bicep!!) - Frog back to sleeve separation and add at least 4-6 straight raglan rows - initially added 4 armpit stitches. will up to 6 for attempt #2. - 3 waist shaping decreases in body

my preferred method of adding extra horizontal inches is by casting on [or binding off] extra underarm stitches. in top-down sweaters, this adds size to both the body and the sleeves, which was key for me not only in the love magick but for most sweaters i knit.

in this example, the yellow oval represents the armhole shape as-written for joining a top-down raglan sweater in the round after splitting off sleeves. this pattern asks me to cast on 4 extra stitches for each armpit. what i would do instead is cast on 12. at a fingering weight gauge of ~6 stitches per inch, the math does this:

(my total armpit stitch inches) – (total recommended armpit stitch inches) = (total inches added) (12*2) – (4*2) = 16 stitches 16 stitches / 6 stitches per inch = 2 ⅔" added

if you size sweaters to your high bust measurement [you should], you'd want your (total inches added) to get you closer to your full bust measurement.

you can then use waist shaping to decrease your way back to the prescribed number of stitches. or to a number of stitches that is a better match for your waist size!

the combo of horizontal darts + extra armpit stitches has been great for my chest shape, and i have figured out a more-or-less standard library of mods that i make to most sweaters to make them fit me. you can find that formula, too, but it won't be the same as mine, and you can only find it by experimenting.

oh, and a bonus: if you're also curvy in the lower half, you can use the same Knitting Technology ™ to shape skirts to yourself [check my pinned post, if you haven't!]

GUYS DONT PRESS P ON THE TITLE SCREEN WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE (Dev log #15)

AT LAST, SUMMER IS HERE!!!!! I am so excited I can finally rest I- oh right. Summer classes. Sigh. Well, they don’t take up the whole day thank god and I don’t need to be there, but It’s still not exciting. Oh well. Maybe I’ll play the sims 4 again and check on how my poor little torture victims are doing/j Jk jk, I don’t torture my sims. Unless you consider naming them things probably EA wouldn't approve of, then yeah I guess I am a horrible person.

But yeah, on the week I released the demo (which by the way, thanks for the 58 views!!!! thas crazy) I was putting up with finals. Some of my classes had to be pushed to the next week, and that was INFURIATING. It was kinda agony because I just wanted everything to be done and over with and I was practically exhausted. Like sleeping at 7 pm exhausted. Yeah......Well, should I even talk about how my life is going? I flunked the review for my major. Thank god, honestly. I mean, I didn't do it on purpose, and I am sad in a way that I flunked it, but I didn't want to continue on the route I was going on. I feel kinda stupid for even trying but I guess it's ok to make mistakes in your early 20's rather than your 30's... for some reason.

Ok, dev time. I decided to take a break from making sprites for a bit. So I worked on a part of the game that I would have left a secret, but I think it’s quite funky hehehe

I like old computers. I would have replicated the windows XP thing because I have so many memories of it, but I'm scared Windows might snipe me or something. I once was lying on the couch my parents turned into a bed (I think I was sick at the time), and it was late at night, and the computer was shutting down (it played this sound: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gb2jGy76v0Y) and for some reason the noise absolutely scared the absolute living shit out of me (I think I was like 4-5 years old and I was terrified of bassy sounds). I do not remember ever having any positive relationships with computers before I turned 6 lol. I’m pretty sure I used to think I could live without them. Oh you poor bastard. If you saw me now not only would you not understand a single word I’m saying, you would be incredibly disappointed with how dependent I am on computers. I think once I'm done with that I'll try to fix whatever is going on outside scene, because that's the only scene that causes the game to crash. I'm pretty sure it's because there's too many objects, because when I turned off the animations and the visibility it still took forever to load (like, nearly 2 seconds. The scene takes 4 seconds to load, and normally a scene would take me less than a second to load). soooo, uh yeah, I'm trying to find an occlusion culling equivalent to solve this because that's a 3d game thing, and this is a 2d game lol. I'm thinking of turning off visibility for when they're outside the viewing frustrum (player's line of sight, or more like rectangle) because it cuts down half the time for when the scene loads. If nothing works I guess it's just deleting and re-adding the child back into the scene every time the camera is on them... sigh. If it ticks me off too much I'll probably return to doing sprites because there's still a lot to do lol.

Well.... I so far got no other ideas for references in this game, so I guess I'll put in the inspiration of the outro (which is the Portal outro)

I know, I know. Cheesy. BUT instead of it being in the antagonist's view, it's the protagonist's view instead. I tried singing for the song, but every time I do I make Jojo Siwa sound like a professional vocalist (I don't even know why she still sings. Didn't she bust one of her vocal chords already? Or is that a rumor? Either way that's already gotta be a sign that you probably shouldn't continue on the route you're on.) I literally had 5 attempts on my computer and they all sound horrible. Hijack for Twitter: gloosaloo !! Giveaway winner for the 3D Bust. It was fun experimenting making a material shader to try a pop out cellshaded and sculpt look though I didn't use it for the end lol.

so i sure have spent the past month sculpting and agonizing over these wings so i can finally start 3d printing my next OC doll body... and while i suspected the bust piece may be pushing the limits of what i can fit on my 3d printer's build plate (spoiler alert: it definitely does NOT fit), i... completely.... never once considered.... the wings. may also Not Fit. which i have just discovered right now is kinda sorta a bit of an issue that i uhhhhhhh have to figure out now.

(for the uninitiated: the blue rectangle at the bottom outlines the amount of space i have to print things, and every part of the model colored in red is sitting outside of that space and can't be printed. and i can't figure out any kind of funky orientation that can save this one lol...)

and so i suppose my options are either:

cut apart the too big models so they can be printed in pieces and reassembled into one (i was already considering this before for the sake of painting certain parts of the wings, but was concerned about how thin and fragile the pieces could end up being and piecing them together nicely...)

hire someone with a bigger printer to print things for me (but the torso piece needs to be a very specific color, and also i don't want to deal with the huge stress of communicating with people LOL)

just buy a new bigger printer

... and admittedly, since i DO have (hopefully? i think? maybe...?) enough money for it kicking around for once, i actually am leaning towards probably the most extreme option here (#3) lmao. cries. if there's an affordable enough one in the size i need, then... hahaha

but well, i still have to test print these wings (at a smaller, only 1/3rd of the final size) to make sure the joints work how i want and everything else before i have to deal with figuring out (dramatic hand gestures) all of uh. that

Would it still be a good starting point now? i wont pick final fantasy bc my answer is literally the same as yours LOL so um... i will pick zelda. my first zelda game was botw and honestly that is an AWFUL starting point for getting into zelda JFKLJSDL bc its just so. fucking different from every zelda game out there. and also bc its a love letter to the franchise, that probably a million references flew over my head bc i didnt know what they were referencing. but yeah like its just absolutely awful to go from a game where you can freely jump to a game where you have to ROLL.

but at the same time i dont think botw is an awful starting point. bc like.... its a good game. its a good Modern game. like the older zelda games, especially the 3d titles, are extremely outdated. i dont think anyone should be playing those in this day and age when botw/totk is there to experience instead. while not ideal, i think its fine to hit it off with a modern switch title, then work your way down to older titles.

of course 2d zeldas are a different thing. dare i say, the superior thing. also i dont believe anyone should get into zelda. bad franchise. except when the games are good. all pondering aside the best starting point for zelda is ALBW, then MM3D. maybe some MINISH CAP as a treat. those are the only existing zelda titles. to me. but jokes aside if someone is really gonna have a 'starting point' for zelda games then its definitely BOTW/TOTK or ALBW. doesnt matter whether its a switch title or ALBW played first, but its very very very very important that ALBW is played as well.

I tried to do both wherever I could; I put it under a read more because it became a tad on the long side ^-^

1. My first impression of them

My first brush with the Sonic franchise was with the Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games 3DS, specifically the plot with the fog and stuff. And thus this was my very first encounter with Silver:

And let me tell you, I had NO IDEA which one was which, lmao. Should I have been able to tell? Probably, but my English was quite garbage back in 2014 still, and so I didn't know. But once they appear in full, I thought Silver looked quite cool!

For Espio I sadly don't remember, but my first encounter with him was in that game as well. But Silver definitely endeared himself to me more quickly than Espio did, I do recall that!

2. When I think I truly started to like them (or dislike them, if you've sent me a character I don't like)

Silver I began to like quite quickly in my early stages of being part of the Sonic fandom; Blaze used to be my absolute favourite, but I threw myself right into the cutscenes from '06 because she and Silver were in the thumbnail (also halfway through the story, so I had no idea what was going on and stuff lol). And from then onwards, Silver quickly became my favourite instead. I did always like Espio somewhat, but I began to like him lots more once I began working on New Beginnings with him in a central role.

3. A song that reminds me of them

For Silver that is most of Owl City's repertoire, since I just get Silver Vibes from that. For Espio I don't have one right now, but for the two of them together it's One Way Dream by Jay Cosmic and DESERT STAR.

6. My least favorite ship of them

Ships with characters neither have ever really interacted with tend to be ships that I don't particularly like. But I don't have an Absolute Least Favourite Ship for either of them.

7. A quote of them that you remember

"Come here, little fella! Where are your friends?" from Silver in Rivals 2 (because it's just so unexpectedly cute in a game wherein he otherwise is quite serious <3). For Espio I can recall quite a few quotes, but not really anything that stands out as particularly intriguing, I must be honest.

10. Describe the character in one sentence

Silver is a blunt and rash but optimistic and kind-hearted time traveller from the future, who travels back to the past to protect the world from destruction with use of his psychic powers.

Espio is a stoic ninja detective who concerns himself greatly with training and improving, but who means well and has a caring and sometimes silly spirit inside him.

11. What’s the first thing you think about when thinking about the character?

Silver: brave psychic time traveller, Espio: serious but kind ninja detective. And both together: my bois!!

13. Your favorite friendship they have

Each other aside, I like Silver and Blaze as friends; after everything they have been through in '06, they found each other again, and both of them are shown to care greatly for each other. And for Espio, I like his friendship with the other two Chaotix! They drive him insane at times, but it is clear that he would do anything for them, and he is not above engaging in the silliness they bring with them at times.

17. What do you think their first word was?

For Silver I figure it is something like "fire" or "monster", since that seems quite relevant to his living situation. And for Espio I once imagined that he spent a long time being entirely silent as a young child, but then one day he began busting out complete, grammatically correct sentences like it was nothing, and that stuck ever since! It suits Espio to only begin doing something once he was certain he could do it perfectly immediately, in my opinion, haha.

20. A weird headcanon

Not sure if it's weird, but Silver is left-handed in my stories. I tried to look into the games if there is any canon basis for it, but there does not seem to be. But my parents apparently thought I (as toddler learning to write) was going to be left-handed, until I made myself be right-handed because that was what everyone else did. So that is why I like the idea that Silver, who lives alone in the future, is left-handed instead.

For Espio, I can imagine he's got quite a bit of ninja weaponry tucked away around the house, just in case of an attack wherein he needs to act quickly. Since he is the only one who cleans, he is also the only one who knows where all of his weaponry is hidden.

24. What do you think is a secret they have that they never told anyone?

Both of them never delve into their pasts, also not with each other. They don't like thinking back about how things used to be, not if they got each other in the present and their future instead. I imagine neither had a particularly nice life leading up to the things that changed everything, namely Silver travelling to the past the first time and Espio joining the Chaotix, so that is one topic they leave entirely untalked about.

Last week I finally 'impulse bought' a 3D printer (Anycubic Photon Mono 2 iirc, yes its tiny, its in the grey tent lol) that doesn't leave ugly lines and can print sculptures (aka the resin type) while half knowing what I'm getting into HAH. That's when one realizes the printer is cheap, everything else, isn't. Because it needs an enclosure and an airpump that drains the resin fumes outside, and a bunch of safety measures. I'm jokingly calling this my meth lab.... (but seriously, don't sniff resin guys)

Works fine, full week and no smells what so ever. Good looking sculpts too.

Its a bit bonkers, but realizing I won't be having more space for the upcoming years I thought waiting was just getting pointless, now or never, and learn to deal with tiny spaces. So far its been a great experience, it certainly has it hurdles besides calibrating and differences in software, I'm still figuring out how to process the resin waste. But we'll figure it out. Seeing my zbrush work in reality is worth the work. And yes its much better than VR imo.

That doesn't even take into account I've been fighting with a small test buste for a week now to have it cut up and print, this is where the issues in processing start, and if its not a sculpt issue its an app issue.

So the custom sculpts are going to have a delay until I figure out a system, but since I want a bit of everything on my wall that's fine. I sadly enough didn't sculpt much these past years, so I don't have a backlog oop.

But I am making progress that's for sure. Here are some examples of prints of free models. The big Vash is 11 cm in high. The gun is weird in both prints, so I think it has a support issue. My phone is terrible at close ups jfc I'm so sorry but its all I have.

the most tiny dragon is Tabletop print size, and the second one is a 200% in size.

The nightmare started with a lonnnnggg drive through the woods at midnight (it was 3:00 am) I was going on this camp out I guess with this college aged man named Kevin (he was a good Kevin not bad) he was tall with ginger hair and those winter southern jackets you see typical older brothers wear in cliche 2000s Disney movies, the trees though- they were like 300 or 200 feet tall and we're COMPLETELY smooth less, no texture in sight, they're also completely grey here, they looked like 3d models but placed in real life, anyway Kevin's car broke down and so we had to try and find shelter (why we didn't stay in the car idk) we found a bunch of trash and... Some.. Ahem... "Toys" along the road as well, including a lovely realistic toy of a certain part mounted on the front of a destroyed bike, anyway we found an old house that was WRECKED, I'm talking broken windows everywhere, busted washing machine on the front lawn, tons of rats and other parasites, it was disgusting but me and Kevin thought to go inside of there, (now to think of it he looked alot like ed Shereen but that's off topic) but when we opened the door w were shocked, it was completely spotless and tidy, like any normal middle class house in a suburban neighborhood, it was like doctor who or something the way we were bamboozled, just then we saw a family, a... Interesting family to say the least, the family had a father, mother, dog, baby boy, and a young sister and brother, the sister and brother were Ellen and Edgar from well.. Ellen and Edgar, the dad was like their actual guardian in the show/books, the mother was a stereotypical cartoons blonde mother and the baby was just wearing a normal blue onesie, the dog was brown and looked like a twelve year old drew it, I just also realized the whole family was cartoons one way or another but me and Kevin were completely irl, as well as the settings of this dream, here's the disturbing part though, THEY ALLLLLL HAD THE 90S ANIME FACES OF OFF SURFACE ANIMES, if you don't understand what I mean- this is what I mean⬇️

Idk why but against me and my friend Kevin's judgement we slept over at their house that night for protection, me and Kevin sleep on a poor old misty pull up couch together and try to rest (maybe mention it was platonic since he was like way older lol) but any then in the middle of the night (which now it was somehow like 12:00 pm?? Like the night just wouldn't end no matter what) I opened my eyes slowly but tiredly, and I saw the brother Edgar from Ellen and Edgar with his same as before huge anime eyes and monster like appearance, but now he was inhumanly huge, his arms of way longer and his fingers grew into lonnnnggg sharp claws, he grow massively and was towering over me, like up to the ceiling genuinely, but he was crouched over to watch me sleep, of course I am frozen with horror and have no idea what to do, it was so cold and it felt like time froze along with my flight or fight response, finally after what felt like 30 seconds he finally spoke up, instead of just having a pitchy high voice like before his became incredibly raspy and coarse, as if he hadn't drunk anything in years, his large doll eyes looked at me non blinking and he said-

"sleep tight firefly"

Needless to say I immediately woke up in a cold sweat and semi paralyzed from fear, even drawing this in the car I was in earlier today made my heart pound and made me unable to speak.

I hope I can see all of them debut someday! I've come a long way since Christmas. Cycles makes them look so nice!

Onny was my second raffle winner. Lucky for me this design was pretty simple so I could give the details some extra oomph! She has a very unique expression, I was tempted show it off here but I'll let her do that.

Really busted my ass for Sunset's model but she looks so good!!! Sunset has a few different looks and I'm happy she chose this one for me to recreate. The rigging on here is super complex (by my standards) and looks really good in motion! I should do another post with more pictures because I did a huge amount of work here lol. I should pester her about using this one sometime.

I decided to draw Sprout's stars and stripes in paint.net, they came out nice so I'll be more confident about drawing textures in the future. She's got a fluffy tail mostly out of frame, and wears the same shoes as Lulu! I don't normally give chonkis fingers but it works for the big animal hands. Sprouts going through a redesign right now so we might not see this model on stream, but I'll probably be making the new 3d model too.

So I just watched the first episode of Trigun and in an attempt (failing) to not endlessly talk about it to everyone i meet I’m dumping thoughts here lol

First off... it wasn’t bad. I will admit a part of me is a little disappointed in this just because if the show does get worse then it hurts more but it also means that it could get better.

I’m not happy with how they decided to speed up the plot. It took what 10+episodes to even mention Knives and they bust him out in the first episode? Imo in the original the fact that he wasn’t mentioned, the fact that he wasn’t a main focus antagonist was nice. It let the viewers get to know the characters outside of the main plot and let you get a feel for them. I also think it helped cement Trigun as a funky space western, Stampede feels like its a show set in space with a little bit of western thrown in. Granted this might change in the future.

I actually didn’t mind the animation as much as I thought I would. Most 3D anime’s that I’ve tried have looked incredibly clunky and weird but Stampede didn’t do bad, it still had its clunky looks but even 2D has those lol

I will say mostly out of spite I don’t think I can or will ever appreciate Roberto de Niro’s character. Milly is an important part of the story and I’m very curious to see how they are going to handle Wolfwoods story without her in it. And! I don’t see why they couldn’t have put her in? Even if they kept then as reporters having both the girls would have been great and wouldn’t really change the story they’ve got going so far.

Speaking of the insurance girls I am personally 70/30 on liking what they did with Meryl’s character. I liked her in the original, she was kinda a bitch and very confident in herself, she would be the one to take charge of situations and had clearly been in some dangerous situations before and I liked that.

In Stampede they toned a lot of her down. She feels younger, is younger and I don’t really like that, and she is written to be naive and most of that feels like it was done so they had someone closer to the audience that things could be explained to so everyone could understand but that was also why I liked the team of Meryl and Milly. Neither of them knew everything so they did need things explained to them from time to time and that felt natural because (spoiler) humans have only been on Gunsmoke for 150ish years? That isn’t a whole lotta time to set things up so everyone has information readily available.

But they did still keep how confident she is in herself and how she doesn’t really beat around the bush with things which I did appreciate.

I also think that they did a decent job on Vash as a character, he has almost the same vibes to me as OG Vash. I.E he’s still kinda a dumbass in the first couple episodes and trying to hide who he is.

I will also say based on the first episode the 3D animation is going to make for some cool fight scenes which I am excited for.

I hope they do go back and explain more about what happened on the Seeds ship and why Knives crashed them because I would LOVE to see that part of the manga’s story line animated. It is one of my favorite parts in the manga.

I think overall I’m not blown away but I will admit that might be slightly because the original and the manga are in my top 5 favorites and that makes me a bit biased. I’m gonna watch at least the second episode and see how they go from there but I cautiously like it and I think it has potential to be really good.

I sincerely hope that one day someone writes a fic where Milly takes the place of Roberto in some way because he is the only thing that I truly dislike about the show so far. I kinda feel like they wanted to introduce a Wolfwood esk character before introducing Wolfwood but either way he kinda sucks rn

OOH FUN.... assuming you probably asked this bc most of my interests are games LOL but i jhave some Thoughts on games in General and the industry as a whole. buckle up!

- currently im playing. a lot of them obviously but my most recents are persona 5 tactica and the sims 4 :] - fav fav games EXCLUDING THE SPECIAL INTERESTS . - ghost trick, UT/DR, NITW, TS4 ( i havent played any other sims except the sims 2 pets for the 3ds im sorry.), super mario galaxy, goodbye volcano high - the special interest ones include pokemon (fav out of main series is sun/moon, black/white, and scarlet/violet, but i do like many spin offs like mystery dungeon), mii/wii games (i.e. wii sports), minecraft story mode, and the persona games (never finished one but i've reached various distances in P2IS-P5 excluding some spin offs and stuff like i havent started P5S or P2EP. favs r 3 + 4 + tactica) ^ ask me about any of those (or other ones i like i.e. gvh) i WILL ANSWER even if its something thatd be faster with google im better - underrated gems i'd say goodbye volcano high, death road to canada, chicory a colorful tale, signs of the sojourner, aviary attorney, tails noir, blanc. ghost trick to a lesser extent ig but the others are indie - current main wishlist (inc. ones i Will emulate): shin megami tensei V, devil survivor overclocked, fire emblem 3 houses, professor layton, pokemon black 2, persona q2, persona 3 reload ( I Want. Now. its on gamepass but i literally need everything related to it you dont get it.), wii play motion, twewy, and okami. OH also in stars and time and oneshot. also disco elysium and hylics look cool too. AND CASSETTE BEASTS. fuck i hate when every game looks good. need to play murder of sonic the hedgehog also. and looking forward to billy bust up. OH AND I NEED TO PLAY THE STANLEY PARABLE. AND BALDURS GATE 3 - i think the only game i really truly regret buying is 1-2 switch. im sorry it was good for like 2-3 weeks when the switch was new now i just do not care - i love you indie games i love you games that in general are not afraid to be weird and deviate from stuff. get crazy with it - video games r kind of an art form. if you think about it - industry kind of shit !!! stop laying off your devs!!!!!!!!!! what the fuck!!!!!! its been bad lately even my dad (a QA tester) got laid off a game he was working rly well on because they abruptly cancelled it. ok - i don't care for most FPS games. not my thing. too stressful. not enjoyable for me that much. im more of an RPG guy but i'm open to new things i played like food maker apps when i was a kid - speaking of industry stuff crunch is another thing severely a major problem. and the thing with sag aftra approving ai voices in games. Stop!!!!!!! - i miss e3 :( was a fun thing to look forward to each year - game preservation is also a real issue. like ig i get saving money by killing the servers on old consoles but in nintendos case people still actively use them theyre not that old. kind of dumb. xbox i get it the 360's been out since 2005 but 3ds/wiiu things are younger than me chill out - HATE when good fun mobile games are cash grabby. like STFU its more annoying than anything when they make resources impossible to get without paying. whats the fucking fun in that. i'd rather it be an easy way out last resort than oh i can get like 1 gem every month by doing this BUT if i pay i can get 10 of them for like 10 dolar. like ok die - waiter! waiter! more transgender as hell games please! I busted out this whole course in like a week and then didn't upload any of it lol. Anyway, this is work from the second half of Woulter Tulp's Fundamentals of Expressive Character Design course on Schoolism. In the first half, the focus was on dynamic, fluid shapes. This half was about proper perspective and 3D rotations. Let me tell you, this just about broke my brain. There is also some expression work at the bottom which I have historically struggled with. After all these years of drawing, it's interesting how these fundamentals kick my butt.
