It could be wrong, could be wrong (But it should've been right) by grossalien - this follows tweek and craig’s povs but it is a kyman fic. basically tweek and craig accidentally become the last straw that ruined kyle and cartman’s first date and cartman haruhi suzumiya’s himself and everyone around him into a time loop until the date goes well. only tweek and craig are aware of the loop and are forced to make the date go well if they want to leave the time loop. it’s rlly good and rlly funny. // 19,843, 6/6 chapters

in a mirror, festively by synapticfirefly- this is a basic rec in the fandom but it rlly is just too good. it’s the perfect mix of funny and smut and genuinely heartfelt with a surprising emphasis on facebook relationship status(?) 😭 it’s a mirrorverse au where cartman is a little bitch who just wants to do his holiday charities and everyone around him is absolutely batshit evil, esp kyle who just wants him to come to his hanukkah party. // 36,337, 10/10 chapters

put out the fire on us by i_already_forgot - i don’t like to recommend unfinished fics bc i don’t wanna get someone disappointed but this fic is genuinely too good to not be recommended. kyle and cartman get pranked by clyde and they accidentally get handcuffed, fall down a waterfall and get stranded in the woods 🤷‍♀️ it’s funnier if i don’t elaborate. they gotta survive and make it out and their friendship develops and it’s so cute and i love it. if op ever posts another chapter i will be jumping up and down. // 139,167, 11/? chapters

if i were honest with you by creamdream98 - imma be fr, this is my fave kyman fic ever. probbo one of my fave fics of all time. i starting reading it from the first chapter and i was SEATEDD for every update. it’s a regular high school au but sum abt it is just so endearing and sweet and makes you root for eric and kyle. like the kiss scene made me audibly cheer out loud. basically cartman is a freak and bc he’s in love with kyle draws weird drawings of him in his notebook AT SCHOOL (i would NEVERRR). stan catches him one day and makes a deal with him that if cartman helps him get wendy, he’ll help cartman get kyle. it’s adorable i’ve reread it like 10 times. highly recommend if you’re into that sorta thing. // 150,655, 19/19 chapters

ANOTHER STARKID MUSICAL. this one is just…… soooo good and funny and also . tragic. one of the characters reminds me a lot of toji :’3 former veteran w a dead wife…. who struggles to show his son how much he cares…… and the theme of capitalism and money and how it corrupts ppl also feels in line w toji’s character!! but above all else this musical is abt. Family. and that’s more toji than anything!!! :((( this is another musical that i rlly recommend checking out, it’s set in the same universe as the guy who didn’t like musicals but like . an alternate timeline. it’s not my favorite in the series but the songs slap and it made me cry so <3333 yeah.

was lowkey considering six the musical for my beloved nobara (bc of the gorgeous women and catchy fun songs) but . i think heathers fits her more!!!! i just feel like she’d ADORE it…… i know she’s singing along at the top of her lungs too LMAO especially to dead girl walking <3333 it’s just such a fun badass musical and i think she’d be obsessed. she does NOT like jd tho god bless 🙏🙏

I was rereading your reo and nagi mini series and couldn't help but feel stumped over whether reo was bitter towards reader for being with nagi or nagi for being with reader lol. Both options have its on appeal

Probably bc reo's intense devotion is hot as hell and nagi lowkey gave off the same just more subtle, buried beneath that aloof demeanor if you will. If you were to continue it, what would've happened next????

The answer is both bc we love nasty complex emotions 🙌🏻

I present to you this snippet from the full fic set after those two snippets that tragically remains a wip (this is reader and reo talking about reader intending to get back with nagi when they’ve been messing around behind his back since that first kiss)

And reader is both absolutely correct and completely wrong here, bc the initial infatuation really is bc they were with Nagi, but it’s been a while since then and that has long since warped. Reo’s obsessed w reader in their own right, but even he didn’t know that until that confrontation after the breakup��the kiss was anything but premeditated and even he didn’t know why exactly he hunted them down like that but it gave him a lot of clarity too. Basically it’s this bitter angry “why does he need anyone else what’s so damn good about them” mentality (directed at both reader and nagi, but he “blames” reader more bc he’s quite lenient w nagi) plus a contrary, rlly fucked up kind of “nagi is mine and they’re Nagi’s so they must be mine too” possessiveness that over time grows into him being equally infatuated w reader & equally bitter towards them on a personal level for being w nagi instead of him. But then they break up w nagi and he Panics over the idea of them slipping through his fingers, even tho he doesn’t realize that’s what’s happening until well into the confrontation.

Nagi…….. just likes the reader LMFAOOOOO I think maybe there’s an element in that first snippet of showing off to Reo, kinda peacocking or provoking just to see what Reo will do, but it’s VERY subconscious I genuinely don’t believe nagi thinks as much about Reo as Reo does him. Hes a simple guy in many ways, that intense devotion is just something that most blue lock characters have imo SJFJIENFJEF LIKE when push comes to shove they r all very prone to falling hard and on some level becoming like guard dogs pfft so that’s what’s going on in the first snippet. He poked the bear a bit and then realized wait, nvm, that wasn’t worth it get away. But like…… not purposefully or consciously 😭😭😭

What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? this is a tough one bcus a lot of my fics are straight up heart attacks. I usually end up defaulting to a small bit of hope to end things off when I go rlly dark, and the only time I didn’t do that was with “You can lean on my arm as you break my heart”, which is probably my darkest fic anyway. A handful of my fics end ambiguously bleak like that but I think the intensity of that one makes the sort of ambiguous sort of bleak ending extra upsetting. But most of my fics end badly

What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Definitely “A vile hunger for your hammering heart” haha. That is one of my favorite fics I’ve written but it’s so niche and stupid it rarely gets any attention 😭🙏

Do you get hate on fics? I only ever got a hate comment once on my tiny Drabble collection, for tagging it as bpd cuz lestat was displaying some heavy bpd traits and they didn’t like that ig. I deleted the comment and vagued them on my tumblr and they showed up in my ask box so I hope this doesn’t summon them 💀. It was funny tho! Rlly rlly confusing stuff😭. But nah otherwise not rlly, which is surprising to me cuz I write some stuff definitely hate worthy 🙏but I don’t think hate is super common on a03, at least in this fandom

What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? I hate this evil ass question 😭 I don’t want to say millennia gate bcus I love her and so many ppl love her but I’ve rlly been struggling to find motivation to write her lately. Millennia gate is a reflection of such a specific time in my life and I used it to vent a bunch of issues I was having, and it’s hard for me to tap into that now that I’ve grown sm as a person. I think and hope that inspiration will come back to me tho cuz I hate the idea of abandoning her 🙏 my love child truly.

What are your writing strengths? I’ve been told I’m good at writing dialogue, themes, and pacing. Ive also been told im good at understanding and portraying characters in a way that’s true to the source material+ compelling, which is good cuz I write fanfic lol. A lot of ppl read my fics cuz they like my metas, so I think that’s a strong suit. I’m also a freak for metaphors 😭 oh my god I use elaborate figurative language in casual conversation, it’s bad. The best praise I ever got was from a teacher, she said I write like Anne rice but way better 😭. I don’t rlly think that’s true, but I love it.

What are your writing weaknesses? I find it hard to be subtle and let my writing speak for itself, I tend to hammer things home a bit too strongly so that the effectiveness wears off. I always fight the urge to write big blocks of unnecessary text just so the audience knows what I’m getting at, over explaining and stuff. I struggle with writing sentences that aren’t super long and clunky. I’m rlly bad with grammar. I can’t spell 😭. I also am blind to the quality of my own writing and tend to over edit unnecessarily cuz I find it hard to open up to beta readers

Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? I do it all the time. I don’t use google translate, I try to use more deluxe sources when I write in languages I don’t speak because I’d be so embarrassed if I got something wrong 😭. But I rarely write in a language I don’t speak for more then a sentence or two. Once someone who speaks French commented that they loved that they could read the French in my Lestat fic and I was so happy and relieved it was coherent to someone who speaks the language 😭

First fandom you wrote for? The first fandom I wrote for was technically the how to train your dragon books in my childhood notebook, but the first fanfic I ever published was for Harry Potter. I remember it was an angsty backstory fic about Remus lupin, lmao.

Favorite fic you’ve written? it changes, but right now it’s церковь в огне, because I re read and think about it as if it’s a fic I haven’t written 😭. But I have my favorite memories attached to “must have been the wind”, “A vile hungering for your hammering heart” and Millennia gate. I just wanted to say that I love your writing style, it just always makes me feel so immersed in the story! I also love and adore how sweet you are on your blog, it makes me feel rlly comfy and makes me look forward to your uploads even more!! Lately I’ve been struggling with motivation to continue writing and actually post more frequently, and I was just wondering if you had any tips for motivation! I’ve lacked motivation and time and I mean I know you can’t help on the time aspect but I was hoping maybe you had some advice for motivation! 🫶🫶

first off thank you so much u flatter me 😭 that’s smth i value a lot so it means a lot to me that you think so! and i’m so glad you feel comfortable here as well! you always have such sweet things to say, i really appreciate you n all your lovely words of support ♡

abt the struggles w motivation, i definitely understand where you’re coming from. i think it’s pretty natural for everyone who writes to go through periods where you're either overflowing w ideas, or you have to drag yourself to your wip kicking and screaming 😭 in my experience, the hardest part is almost always just getting yourself started. once you encourage yourself to begin writing, even if you only get a little bit done, it’s still progress! more often than not, you’ll end up naturally gaining momentum and before you know it you’ve written way more than you’d anticipated!

a smart way to go abt it may be to tell yourself that you don’t have to complete a lot in one sitting, just write what you can without any expectations and eventually you’ll find your rhythm. if you’re having trouble getting through a certain scene or section, a trick i sometimes use is to write out lines of dialogue or actions that i know for sure i want to include later on. if there’s a part you have planned that you’re really excited to write, try writing it out first and then ask yourself how you’ll get from point a to point b. this method can be super useful bc if you’re very invested in the scene, it’ll be much more enjoyable for you to write and you may feel more compelled to fill in the gaps surrounding it afterwards!

other forms of media can also play a big role in getting you motivated! music especially is one of the best ways to get yourself excited abt the piece you're working on in my opinion. listening to songs where the lyrics match really well with the scenario you're writing and/or the feelings you're trying to convey, or even listening to instrumentals that cultivate the right atmosphere, can work wonders for your drive to write and even provide you with new ideas. music is one of the most powerful motivators for me!

another thing i want to mention is that a good chunk of my fics were requests from my old blog! if you’re the type of person who might benefit from knowing that someone is waiting on a fic from you, then taking requests from ppl could be worth a shot! it can also help stimulate your creativity if the requester has a specific thing in mind they’d like you to include in the work. ofc, if you feel like it would only stress you out to have the expectation of completing it hanging over your head, then definitely avoid doing that to yourself. all in all it should be a (mostly) fun experience so don’t push yourself too hard if you’ve tried everything you can and still feel no inspiration to finish a certain wips. if there’s a story you’ve been dying to tell, focus on that and be as self-indulgent as you want! whenever you’re enjoying yourself, it often translates into the writing 🥰

- what inspires me to draw is always a very convoluted question and answer i think LOL….i find a lot of inspiration in various different things and places but i think the source i mainly draw my work from is just. Love. love for these characters love for their relationships and bonds and their stories….love for the world around me and the beauty of nature and humankind…idk i know its a corny answer but with so much negativity going around in the world right now i think it just makes me feel very good to just draw things that i love and that make me happy!!!

some artists i think i take a lot of inspo from style wise though are animatorroseoak and grinjaninja :3

- see it honestly depends on my energy level bc my fully rendered pieces can take a WHILE sometimes and its pretty easy for me to get frustrated if base colors aren’t working out for me or something HAHA… i think if i had the choice i would always rather have more finished art, but since thats definitely not possible with how long my art takes to complete i like having an outlet of quick sketches to throw out a lot of the ideas that take up space in my brain

- digital all the way!!! i adjust and resize my art a lot and the undo button is literally my CLUTCH so i always have trouble even sketching traditionally LOL. i actually used to be super big on traditional art when i was younger to the point where i have a huge collection of alcohol markers that i probably just cant see myself using anymore which sucks because those things are SO EXPENSIVE 😭😭 but idk ill probably find something to do with them eventually. we’ll see

- unfortunately this answer is incredibly anticlimactic compared to the other three bc its currently ARTFIGHT SEASON and i’ve been devoting literally all my energy into that……therefore i have not gotten to work on any personal art in a while. 😢 i have a whole LIST of ideas to pick from that i want to draw out though……so as soon as this wraps up were back on the grind baby. i rlly want to draw them with their kids and probably some modern au junk

omg sometimes i get rlly nervous ngl! am i able to give justice to certain characterisations? am i writing this uniquely enough? is it boring? did i do enough research? things like that! sometimes i think i’m a bit critical of myself! so i try to remember that i create bc i enjoy it!! (which i do!!) and that it’s ok to just have fun w it however i want 🥹 (which is why i started writing blurbs too!)
