1.ride or die ship (your otp): me/rex. i'm kidding it's codywan
2. most annoying ship: reylo
3. second favourite ship: dinluke
4. favourite platonic relationship: anakin and ahsoka
5. underrated ship: obirex
6. overrated ship: lmao reylo
7. one thing i would change in canon: the ending of the prequels. anakin killed palpatine and rasied the twins with padme. IT HAPPENED IN MY HEART OKAY?
8. something canon did right: how they showed order 66 in the s7 finale.
9. a thing i'm proud of creating for the fandom PLEASE BRAG ABOUT YOURSELF I WANT TO SEE/READ YOUR ART: i pretty much just make incorrect quotes. but i do have two fics up.
10. a character who is perfect to me (wouldn't change a thing): captain rex.
11. the character i relate to the most and why: fox. also a coffee addict and done with everyones shit.
12. character(-s) i hate the most and why: palpatine. for fucking everyone over and breathing.
13. something i've learned from the fandom: that people are so small minded that have to hate on everything they don't even need an opinion on.
14. three tags i seek out on ao3: I don't really look at tags other than character or pairing. So I'm gonna pass on this one. (on the og and i so agree)
15. a song i strongly associate with my otp/favourite character: if only by dave mathews band. for rex.

girl wake up im writing a no one knows au sequel
“Danny, one of these days you have to tell us what’s up,” Sam said. “You can’t stretch yourself thin like this forever. Whatever your secret life has you doing.”
“I don’t have a secret life.”
Which is exactly what someone who had a secret life would say, but Danny obviously evaded this with the loophole that was being dead. His secret half-life was also none of their business.

Seeing a certain group of star wars fans getting so mad about the acolyte because the characters aren't all mostly white straight people and like I love the acolyte but I understand that people will have valid complaints or might just not like it personally and that's fine too but like the people crying woke at everything are making us all look bad like why are you attacking Yord's actor for getting something wrong I would bet money Harrison Ford doesn't know what an Anakin is either and they still love him
Also people saying it's now too political because they saw a lesbian or something as if the original trilogy wasn't at least in part a commentary on the Vietnam War with the small armed insurgency using guerilla warfare tactics to defeat a much larger technologically superior richer empire like I that's not politics then I don't know what is and the less said about the prequels the better at least a quarter of those movies was following the debates and proceeding of a senate with the main villain being a politician

WHAT?!? They show up?!? What what?! I stopped reading after the whole situation with the antagonist's daughter going from the son to the dad (seriously what was with Clear Sky getting with women he clearly didn't deserve?!?) They didn't have brain waves when they died!! She wasn't that far along was she?! Does this mean she possibly escaped the eagle then later died in birth?!? T_T
DOES IT REALLY SURPRISE EVERYONE SO MUCH THAT WC IS PRO-LIFE. GUYS... It is the Christian Propaganda Cat Series
No btw, she was 1. Barely pregnant, and 2. VERY killed by the eagles.
She explicitly says she had them in StarClan. Which begs the question if she gave birth while DEAD or if they just, popped up next to her when she died like "Hello mother it is I. Tiger Tail. You really fucked up back there!"
PLEASE understand when I say I think DOTC is the worst fucking arc I'm not being funny, I mean it with my whole chest and cheeks.

some books truly do not need sequels but that a story isn't necessary doesn't always make it bad; i've said this before but stories are not perfectly calibrated plot-exporting machines, sometimes taking a side-road is fun simply because it is possible, sometimes it will add to your understanding in a way you didn't think to question, sometimes it's simply pleasurable to revisit the lives of characters you care for

Something Is Killing The Children vol.6
This is going to be a pretty short review, because as usual when talking about a series I try not to give out any spoilers for previous volumes and here's quite impossible. This is a horror graphic novel series that I have talked about a lot. This new chapter of the series continues the storyline that was introduced in the fifth volume, and it was even better than the last one. The plot is quite tense, and it ends in a cliffhanger that leaves you needing more. I honestly don't know how I'll wait a whole year to read the next (or at least that's when I imagine the next volume will be released here). If you don't mind your horror to be graphic I very much recommend these graphic novels.

The thing about the painter analog that people don't get and makes them hate it is that at heart this isn't a serious horror story. This is pure gore not only for the sake of gore but for the sake of camp. Once I was talking of to my dad laughing at the guy who had his face sanded off and he was like yeah not new they did that in Jason already 🙄 which was later reinforced by UrbanSpook admitting this is inspired by those old 80s slasher which should tell you everything.
I'm saying this bc i saw a video pairing it with Playground and the incest game and while I don't know the second I watched a video on playground once and the difference is that that book is trying to tell a story and say something on top of the gore but the later makes it hard to care. Which is kind of the issue another "gone too far" piece of media my beloved A Serbian Film runs into where you cannot take yourself too seriously if you also want to show over the top violence or you'll lose the audience.
OF COURSE there are exceptions like Hostel, Saw and 😏 the human centipede ☺️ (cocksucker for that movie and it's more serious points, though it barely counts bc the gore is very tame save for in 2) and I couldn't exactly tell you what's the difference between what makes them work and what doesn't but still.
But I'm getting off topic I'm not here to say which media is good or not I'm here to point out the painter is not a serious story that asks you to care for the characters it's a over the top schlocky gore that asks you to go GROOOOSS or laugh at the over the top brutality it presents. Which is very standard in horror.
