There's some echoes of Chadwick in there that I think is probably a coincidence but something we might want to keep in mind. Ratio also provides schematics on how to turn the Express into a weapon.

One thing tho: Chadwick was a Genius Society member. Ratio is not.

- Minus the Astral Express weapon (which we do see in action in the Penacony Boss fight ? So like was that connected? 😂), everything else Ratio has done that we know of is mostly about improving people's lives. That anti-planetary weapon is like a blight on his otherwise stellar CV.

- My conclusion: he developed that weapon solely to catch the gaze of Nous. And he failed and it was a moment that felt like selling his soul for one corn chip. The IPC invite was a nail on the coffin: this is what he sold his ethics for.

bonus point I think harry using muggle weapons is really compelling because it challenges the idea that these wizards are inherently more powerful than muggles which is important to remind their society of if they have any intention of continuing on with the statue of secrecy

It would also be interesting to explore the nature of guns as a uniquely muggle creation that is still illegal in muggle britain as a sort of parallel to Harry's own struggles. Growing up in the muggle world and not feeling like he belongs anywhere because of his abusive family that isolated him from any potential support system he could have had, but still understanding that muggles are not evil as a whole is similar to the concept of guns being illegal in his muggle country even though the weapon itself isn't actively evil or wrong (idk if I phrased that well might edit this bit later today)

Continuing on with the parallels between my weapon of choice for harry and his own history, Harry was abruptly introduced to the wizarding world and had his entire understanding of the world flipped on its head, and went to hogwarts without any real explanation with what was happening and had to pick things up as he went. This theme could be very gracefully continued by having Dumbledore once again putting harry into a dangerous position by giving him a very deadly weapon without much instruction on how to use it nor any reasoning for why he is bestowing it upon harry. NOT in a dumbles bashing way tho, but rather in a "I have no idea how to use this thing, neither does anyone else in this school, but it is probably going to be your only chance of surviving in this war when no wizard expects it. here is the most surface level safety information, it is all I know, I hope this is the right choice" kind of way.

it also ties in well with harry's guerilla fighting style; he can conceal it with minimal effort, reach it easily, and use it quickly, all without relying on physical strength but rather on quick strategic thinking and swift movements.

plus like can you imagine Harry managing to get the upper hand on Voldemort by shooting one of his legs out from under him, immobilizing him, and taunting him by getting up close and threatening to finally dish out the finishing blow, only for voldemort to bite the barrel like "shoot me, I dare you" I think that would be really cool/hot in equal measures

Sad things made you cry quite easily, but you didn't want to show a vulnerable image towards others, so when the nostalgic and sadder part came you inevitably started sobbing in silence, not wanting to worry your boyfriend.

The decision of sitting him out in favour of Albon sounded cruel and everyone rose up in discontent, but think about it this way, you're a team principal, what would you do? Would you want to give the team the biggest chances of finally doing something worth of praise or do you wanna be fair even tho you know where that road ends, and be honest with yourselves, and be realistic too, because we all known damn well how this sport is, fairness is rarely the rule anyone plays by here.

His time to shine was today, getting into Q2 would have certainly proven that all he needed was time, that he is all that, he is him, he just need us to be patient with him and maybe give him a car that aint the 2024 Williams, after all that is what happened to Stroll, after banging the wall the first he went on the track in Australia, everyone ruled him as a paid seat, get him out and blah blah blah, now he is a solid driver that more often than not pulls in consistent results, not his fault Alonso is the main character of F1 and has plot armour.

But he didn't, he was at the back of the grid, as usual, so what else am I supposed to make out of this? I have a question!! So I’m a long-time BSD enjoyer but I haven’t read nearly as much of the manga as I would like. I’ve seen all of the anime though, most of it multiple times through. I didn’t realize until looking at the comments on Danny Motta’s video at how much people fucking hate Fukuchi and his sword. Up until this point I’ve thought it’s cool as hell and he, along with the sword, bring something kinda new and fun to the series.

HOWEVER, I know BSD is FAR from perfect and there’s a lot of dumb shit that faithful manga readers have a better perspective on. Would you mind explaining why Fukuchi and the sword are such a sore point? I hope this isn’t too much to ask. I just really want to know.

Unfortunately the answer to that is best explained in the context of ALL the issues I have with the manga/show so... this is going to be v long... and im done giving this show more credit than it deserves but don't take it that seriously lol I hesitate to even consider my pov to be on par with the average manga reader but ig we'll see how my opinions hold up after i post

And disclaimer: I don't mind answering this but ONLY with the context that this is 100% my opinion (as of late, bsd as a whole has just been REALLY bugging me so im just gonna take this opportunity to explain my gripes since most of them apply to or tie greatly into fukuchi's character/design/motivations/development)

I simply don't want anyone to come for my head bc of anything I say here tho, bc I feel like I may disagree with a large portion of the fanbase but WITH THAT SAID...

Here are my gripes with BSD...

1. BSD and its "magic system"?

bsd powers suffer from what i like to call a "lack of scope"

granted this could be due to the fact the story isnt complete HOWEVER im sure any anime fan can tell you this story doesnt feel like it is leading anywhere its just... going... (ill get to the awful pacing later)

for comparison sake im going to also talk about The Case Study of Vanitas since it is the world I have the most experience in

what does BSD not have that VNC does?

simply put, the magic system doesnt reinvent itself character to character

in VNC if you have an ability it is EXCLUSIVELY connected to "manipulations of the world formula" which is essentially elemental control (fire, ice, gravity, etc.) based on a sci fi version of chemistry (alchemy, if you will) and this rule applies to EVERY CHARACTER in VNC

its a structure that starts developing from the beginning

BSD however introduces a WHOLE NEW magic system for each character

some character abilities are similar, yes, and can be classified as such, but many cannot be classified

again a magic system doesnt NEED to have strict rules (its actually more boring that way if the rules are too simple) but it DOES need RULES... and solid ones

otherwise its tempting to use the MAGIC system to fill in PLOT RELATED gaps

and if that system isnt defined, well, to me that looks like lazy/sloppy/illogical writing

if you like the whiplash of not knowing whats gonna happen next, fine, (i did for awhile too!) up until the unpredictability started to come from powers that as a whole look like an authors way of trying to write themselves out of their own plot hole

2. Fukuchi and his "deus ex machina" sword

time travel is NOTORIOUSLY difficult to pull off and especially by my standards

I have watched Doctor Who since 2008, before I even knew what tumblr was I was doing my own solo fandom stuff (basically just watching a LOT of youtube video essays) but basically I have high standards when it comes to time travel in stories

Amenogozen has the POTENTIAL to be a great weapon if used in a logical context... but theres one thing the sword (and BSD as a whole) does not follow

RULES

time travel is TRICKY mostly bc it has consequences... in BSD fukuchi gives nothing in exchange for his powers

lets even toss time travel aside for the moment

what is Fukuchi's innate special ability? Mirror Lion... (read below)

its essentially an attack multiplier of x100 at CLOSE RANGE

lets say your average untrained human punch is 150psi (pounds per square inch) which is the pressure equivalent of a point 100m below the surface of the ocean...

with Mirror Lion's multiplier you get 15,000psi which would be 10,000m or 10 kilometers

a pressure equivalent to the deepest part of the ocean (i dont need to remind you how powerful water is... we all know about oceangate)

MY POINT IS HE'S OVERPOWERED AS FUCK

dont even get me started on his motivations too

im glad we got backstory for him in ep 11 and im sure we are just supposed to sum up his motivations into "he was willing to pay the high price for world peace" but tbh royally fuck that

dont TELL me thats what he believes

PROVE to me how you made that conclusion

also the only reason he even dies is becasue he wants fukuzawa to kill him... we dont have any sense of accomplishment for stopping his scheme because NOW the scheme has been PLOPPED right into fukuzawa's lap which fukuchi intended to do from the start... apparently

and this seemingly retroactive decision-making is a problem A LOT of bsd characters have, especially the one and only character i hate THE MOST... *drumroll*

3. Osamu fucking Dazai

oh boy...

I have thought long and hard about Dazai... im not going to lie, after ch109 and ep10 I was about to admit Dazai might actually have grown on me BUT

this was all erased after 6 minutes into ep11 when he was confirmed to indeed NOT be dead

Dazai just *knows* everything thats gonna happen

Chuuya was never a vamp... he knew this... and somehow his ENTIRE escape plan was just hinging on that? bc yknow... hE kNeW fRoM tHe bEgiNniNg

OSAMU DAZAI IS A PLOT DEVICE USED *ONLY* TO FILL IN NARRATIVE HOLES

HE IS A WAY TO FORCE PROGRESS ON A STORY WITHOUT EVER GIVING A REAL EXPLANATION

HIS CHARACTER IS AN INSULT TO INTELLIGENCE

His character is paper thin, with motivations that do not translate to his actions

and frankly... im tired of it...

additionally... if sigma doesn't survive, all of Meursault was literally useless... so why pick him for nikolai's prison break game?

even if he does, it means the ONLY thing we get out of the arc is information about fyodor... as to WHAT information, who knows... but regardless, a villain arc that has been going on for TOO GODDAMN LONG (40 chapters?) should have a resolution that isnt "i knew what was gonna happen all along"

we spent the whole time being SHOWN that fyodor and dazai were of equal intelligence levels... or at least higher than what dazai was used to dealing with

if dazai could just predict shit like this from the beginning why was fyodor a villain for so long? makes ZERO sense, dazai would've defeated him AGES ago... what makes THIS time any different?

also... why is he even suicidal? yeah ok the author was... but like... why make it such a present character trait?... so we can fake kill him over and over? idk

can you tell i dislike him?

4. THEORY vs PRACTICE

I am a "show dont tell" girlie

ALL BSD DOES IS "TELL TELL TELL" ...its infuriating

almost every power/special ability has an element of "trust me bro" ok SOME OF THEM DONT but most of them do

ie: atsushi is a tiger (what does that even mean), kenji gets strong when he's angry (ok hulk?), and THIS JUST IN we STILL don't know how fyodor's ability works... and now he's DEAD?... we also dont know almost any detail about sigma's ability and he might ALSO be dead

but thats only regarding abilities...

when it comes to writing stories using people of high intelligence it is VERY difficult to not get into the aforementioned "trust me bro" mindset which BSD does REPEATEDLY

im not listing off every example but off the top of my head is one scene from s4...

ranpo explains his plan for saving yosano loosely involved "replacing the engine [of an armored vehicle] with an electric motor and playing engine sounds over the speakers so no one noticed" ...and only i can pick this claim to shreds lol (i engineer electric vehicles for a living) but this is so wrong on so many levels...

Internal combustion engines and Electric motors are IN NO WAY EQUIVALENT

ranpo would never be able to power a vehicle the size of an armored truck with a motor that he installed an hour before the truck was put to use... he just wouldnt... the vehicle is too big... ugh *facepalm*

and dont even get me started on batteries...

MY POINT IS

if you want to write some *genius move* at least TRY to do some research to make the action believable

thats like saying "oh yeah i ran out of gas so a threw a couple AA batteries into my gas tank until i could make it to the station"

BUT THAT WOULDNT FLY BECAUSE MOST PEOPLE KNOW THATS NOT HOW CARS WORK

5. Manga Readers' POV

the.chapters.are.too.short

especially for a monthly released manga

i am relatively new to anime and manga... like late 2020, so I am part of the "new gen" I guess you could say so i know i dont have any right to complain about pacing in comparison to like... the dressrosa arc of One Piece

with that said, not enough in bsd BUILDS on itself

it all feels like a self "one-up"

its been too long since any of my large questions have been answered

honestly its rare that any of my questions are ever answered because the narrative rarely follows logical progression anyway and any scenes thats ARE useful are cut from the anime

characters do not *develop* their powers, they just simply ARE

whatever ability you are born with limits what you can do and thats that... which leads me to...

6. Types of Ability Users

the most coherent thing i think i can speak on so this will be short lol

there are 3 types... i think (excluding lightnovels, i have not read 15, Stormbringer, or any others)

(1) natural abilities (ones that can be nullified by dazai or stolen like in Dead Apple)

(2) human/god fusions (chuuya) -> but this can ALSO be nullified???

(3) when an ability isnt an ability (it CANT be nullified) -> ie: whatever the fuck Lovecraft is

Sigma -> ??? (he could be part of the natural ability category but like... it feels weird to put him there)

but... there is never a comparison between these types so im not even sure of this "list" is exhaustive

this is just another way the story is leaving open ways to dig itself out of a plot hole... which isnt fun... bc now there are no stakes... there are no rules... its disorganized chaos where anything can happen

everyone will always be fine because there is a way out of everything

and thats BORING... and for me, downright infuriating

fukuchi likely falls into the first category... but then again he's also using a tool from another ancient ability user... so does he even fit there?

7. Anime Adaptation

and i know why...

BSD is so thin on STABLE plot the story would feel like its dragging if Bones wasn't animating at the pace they are (see Manga Readers' POV)

so to try and counteract the feeling that nothing is happening they are cutting "irrelevant" scenes BUT ALSO important portions relevant ones (ie: aku's death)

do all the plot points from the manga happen? by definition, yes... but the nuance the manga has is lost almost entirely

Atsushi doesn't physically throw an injured Aku's arm over his shoulders... Aku doesn't smile upon his demise... Aku doesn't reach out through the fog of the fire extinguisher (the adaptation of this scene was personally my last straw)

and then we have the new anime content...

why did we tack on an additional fight? zero context... didn't even tie up loose ends from fukuchi like...

is sigma alive?

are chuuya/dazai/nikoali still in france? europe?

is fyodor going to return in some way? (we know nothing of his motives, ability, or MOST importantly, what information did he learn from Sigma??? his ability is an EXCHANGE so why even have that happen if they are both dead anyway?) why would you fucking kill off a character like this

WHAT WAS THE POINT OF THIS ENTIRE ARC??? The mere reason I'm asking this question is, in and of itself, unacceptable

we MAY get an answer later... but its been 20 episodes... why the fuck dont we know anything about the arc we just completed? ...ludicrous

Final Thoughts

BSD does not have enough reliable rules in its magic system to form a solid foundation of... anything

Fukuchi is a disjointed character trying to do too many things at once, he doesn't have solid motivations, and his arc provides more questions than it answers

Osamu Dazai is not a character... he is a plot device used like a saving throw in DND

BSD frequently insults my intelligence to cover it's ass in its storytelling

being a manga reader is like taking 30 days to rip off a tiny band aid... the pacing is unbearable

even with the end of fukuchi's arc now known, there was no sense of accomplishment in defeating him bc technically we didnt… he gave himself up... so the sword was just to make him overpowered... it was pointless

the anime adaptation was rushed, scenes cherry picked, and plot narratively thinned into water... there was no depth this season

In my opinion...

There are very few redeeming characteristics about BSD now

The few meaningful scenes we do get in the manga are overwritten by later context that negates any emotion initially associated with the scene

even with the end of fukuchi's arc now known, there was no sense of accomplishment in defeating him bc technically we didnt... he gave himself up

Dazai is the worst written character I have ever read

It is very likely i drop this story entirely

If I seem salty/upset/etc. its because I am. However is NOT directed at you, it is simply a manifestation of my disappointment in this story.

May I request some more Wraith!Kuai Liang Au Headcanons? Just like general or specific stuff

you may indeed!

I'm gonna say that water nullifies his poison powers bc it's my au and I can do what I want (tho feel free to ignore that if it doesn't spark joy for you!) so he's really fond of swimming now as there's no risk of killing anyone as long as he's in the water.

Whenever Kuai Liang is frightened or upset he goes to a pretty sequestered hot spring and spends hours there just swimming. Sometimes Hanzo will sit on the shore with his legs in the water and chat with him, and its those conversations that let them start to come to terms with one another and become friends, and ofc fall in love

I know I said in another post (at least I think I did) that they don't get together until Kuai Liang's humanity is restored, but I also think it would be really cool if their first kiss was in that hot spring.

Like Kuai Liang has had a bad day for whatever reason so he heads to the hot spring and starts swimming only to have Hanzo joing him not that long after. Hanzo sits at the edge and chats with him like usual, eventually making him laugh so Kuai Liang grabs his ankles under the water and pulls Hanzo in. This isn't the first time he's been able to touch someone underwater, they both knew it was safe, but it is the most contact he's had in years when Hanzo basically just holds onto him and the two are pressed into one another. So Kuai Liang basically short circuits as they flirt until eventually they both dip their heads down under the water or maybe Hanzo pulls him down and they end up kissing. Not for long because hot water and breathing, but still.

Kuai Liang practically shakes out of his skin afterwards bc he's so touch starved and he really wants to do that again but he can't without risking Hanzo's life. Thus begins their search for a way to restore his humanity

He's also terrified of accidentally killing someone. Like, he's been a weapon for whoever forces him for so long and now his very touch is poisonous and he's just terrified he'll hurt someone without meaning to.

Bc of that he keeps his distance from most people, Hanzo is pretty much the only one who won't let him get away with it.

The worst part for both of them is when Kuai Liang wakes up screaming from nightmares and all either of them wants is for Hanzo to hold him but he can't bc of the poison powers so he has to settle for just talking to Kuai Liang in the hopes that it will calm him down.

As soon as Kuai Liang's humanity is restored and it becomes safe to touch him again, the first thing Hanzo does is give him a hug and Kuai Liang just breaks down into tears bc it's real and dry and safe and he finally feels safe for the first time in years.

They spend the rest of that day in bed just holding each other as Kuai Liang sleeps off the side effects of being resurrected again, and no one disturbs them bc by this point the entirety of the Shirai Ryu are very attached to Kuai Liang and want to see him be happy.

Their first kiss after the resurrection is a slow and sleepy thing, just soft and gentle bc they deserve tenderness goddamnit

Ok so, I was gonna do my thoughts on the new episode Yesterday, but I'm running on little sleep and just .. procesing lol but I I'll share some stuff now~

I gotta start by personality thanking Weiss for keeping me just barely out of the total depression zone after this episode lol I don't know where I would be if she wasn't around being silly and annoyed at everything lol she really made things better for all of us

That said she also really needs to talk about her problems. They all need it. But damn, I almost forgot that yes, this child lost her whole kingdom and doesn't even know if her family made it ok to Vaccuo. God Remnant is a mess!

I also have to thank Little for being adorable and making my life better lol seriously that 'I always wanted to Be Long, but I'm still just small' lives rent free in my head and I love it lol one of my highlights of the episode.

Bees!!! There were some of the best bees we've ever had!!! And we've had soany great moments before! But seriously, you can taste the happiness on Blake's tone!!! You can see the love in her eyes! And you can also feel the excitement and happiness from both Barb and Arryn and all of crwby on that whole scene! They've worked so hard for this! And it's finally happening!

Also loving the bi and lesbian colored flowers on that scene <3 I love how much crwby does to point to Blake as bi specially, ni characters ar often ignored/missclassified for the relationship they get into and I hate that. Blake's our Bi-Icon and she always will be

I didn't knew I needed Blake doing puns in my life lol but God it was glorious! Also it reminded me of that time Arryn said that she had troible voicing chibiBlake because 'Blake is so...not funny!' that she didnt know how to deliver the lines lol glad to see Blake's character growth, she deserves nothing less, and Arryn is killing it with the voice acting!

Speaking of voice Acting: Lindsay!!! OMG I've always been a huge fan of them as Ruby's voice actor, but theyre really stepping up their game this season! Hearing Ruby's voice being so devoided of emotion Is so painful to hear and Lindsay just sells it! 💔

Ruby has lost so, so much, and she hasn't even had time to mourn or just process... I feel like the moment when she saw the sword and broke was the moment she finally really understood that Penny was gone again... Like, I feel a part of her was still denying it, she wouldn't adress it directly or even accept to talk about It... But I mean, she isn't really talking about anything...

So maybe I'm just proyecting I guess

So it's official that emotions have an effect on Ever After's weather. The guards said that someone was purposefully ruining the king's birthday by making it rain. Yikes, this Is gonna get hard to watch... *Hugs Ruby*

I saw someone talk about The scene where Alice creates a flood with her tears and... Yeah, I can see that happening once Ruby finally reaches her límit. I'm so not ready

I had been sad for most of this episode, but Ruby's eulogy? I have not recovered. I don't think I ever will 😭😭😭😭😭 Penny deserved so much better.

Also as much as I would love to have Penny back again and for good... I think this chapter really made me feel like it's over with her, I'm not ok with it, but 'ces't la vie, right?

The girls asking Ruby is she's really ok with giving up the sword 😭😭 they all knew how important and special Penny was for Ruby and viceversa.

Ruby is definitely keeping that Sword tho, it's not even a question not just because of the tráiler (that I didn't watch but I've seen mentioned lol). According to Blake Alyx knew the object she was looking for because her heart told her and don't get me started on how much this says about Penny and Ruby's relationship 😭 you don't feel a pull on your heart for just about anyone! So that means Penny's Sword is the equivalent of Alyx's knife.

Also, I feel like Ruby will take the sword with her when they leave. Maybe as a second weapon, maybe she'll combine Crescent Rose with it like Jaune did with Pyrrha's armor

And Blake with the gold bit on Gambol Shroud but... Don't get me started on that I was honestly so disapointed on that after seeing the many cool designs the fandom had made lol

Anyways, I think it's important that Ruby felt the pull to the sword but Yang didn't really feel it towards her arm that is literally a part of herself.

The prices are so fascinating too and I think they're important on this point, but I linda want to make a separate post to talk about that because I have a lot to say lol. But the point is, the sword is Alyx's knife, that's gonna be important.

To end on a happy note: I'm never getting over Weiss hitting herself with the rock lol amazing, spectacular, perfect in every way.

For more details the characters find out during training because they are a new member and aren't expecting much because not much is on their file but then they absolutely dominate the arena

Even better if they/reader learned how to use the weapons and the only true thing that makes them an esper is that they can poof the item into existence

-When you walk in unexpectedly you see the weapons that you summon in ice, half ice or just little ice

-When you asked him about it he blushed slightly but as fast as that came as fast as it went.

-so you just summon more weapons for him because why not

-Shes really curious

-What if you hurt yourself with tge weapons you just summoned? what if you summon too much weapons and you lose control?

-Also thinks that its a really good power since if someones weapon broke you can just make an entirely new copy and its as good as new

Well, if you're really considered THAT good at fighting sequences, how would you set up a scene where the fight takes place in a cramped space with objects that are then used in the fight to stall or daze the opponent?

oh good question!

so, when setting up a fight, a thing a lot of people don't understand right off the bat is how an environment can emphasis a fight. how a location is set up can GREATLY change the outcome of any situation and it is our job as storytellers to think about how a person might see a situation and use it to their advantage.

one key point i wanna make tho, is that you should NOT set up an environment around a fight. you need to set up a fight AROUND the environment! key example of doing this wrong is say "oh! this character uses light to enhance their weapon/skill! so obviously to make them stronger you should make the room a stain glass/mirrors!" in what realistic scenario would that ever happen unless they were in a church or fun house of mirrors??? (not to say that wouldn't be an interesting fight, it would just be predictable and not as entertaining) you want the audience to go "woah! i never considered that! that's so cool!" and if you ONLY give the characters their pluses without thought... it can be less fun.

so here is what I would do when setting this scene up: say the character is running from some goons and runs into a shipyard warehouse with shipping boxes full of miscellaneous stuff. they hide behind a box, scared out of their mind as the goons search the warehouse. They either broke or lost their weapon along the way and they don't know what to do so they desperately look around for something that could help. Thats when they notice one of the boxes is full of bags of flour or sand ya know, something that creates dust, and another box is full of either pipes or rebar for a construction site.

there are many ways to use these items in a make shift way to stunn a bunch of people. you could create a cloud cover of flour and use a rebar/pipe to hit the goons one by one on top of their heads, you could toss the rebar on the ground and make the goons fumble and fall, you could look for rope to trip the goons and then pull a random box on them to hold them down, the list goes on.

Jakie Chan is the king of improvised fighting, highly recommend studying his films or watching this video to get a better idea on how to pull something like this off.

coming up with interesting angles to how a character would fight in a situation like this is part of the fun but it also would be cool for you to come up with unique takes on how to use these misc items.

if you want me to explain a very specific fight scene with more detail, I certainly can with more information. but a lot of this has to do with where the character could be, how the character thinks, what they have on or around them, and how you could make this interesting.

if i went back to the analogy of the shipyard warehouse, I could give you another angle entirely: mc using their vantage point of the rafters as leverage in a fight. whatever they find up there they drop down or use it to swing down and pick off the goons one by one.

another option could be they find a motorboat moored and unused but the engine is full of gas. so they rev it up and let it just decimate the warehouse and the goons run and try to dodge out of the way while the mc escapes.

it all depends on how you wanna work it :>

Legend felt guilty and tries to make Wild comfortable talking again.

If it was Legend who goaded Wild into this, then he will goad him out.

The group was hiking through Wild's Hyrule. Time is leading, discussing something on the map with Twilight. Wild is still silent, choosing to walk to the end of the group, next to Four, who is checking all the broken weapons. Champion would still smile or look up when he found a strange looking bug, laugh when Wind tells stories of his days on sea and in his New Hyrule, "There were trains and they made the funniest sounds!"- whatever a train was. Sometimes, he would run up to tap Hyrule's shoulder and point at some landmark, promising he would take him there.

Legend picked an oppoturnity when Wild is just by himself. The group chef is checking his photos, grinning silently.

"Hey Wild", Legend tapped his shoulder, "about yesterday's pumpkin soup- it tasted like shit"

Wild looked up in absolute shock. Sky turned back with an audible gasp. "Legend??"

"Yea no offence",he continued," it was under seasoned"

"Wait, why didn't you say anything yesterday?", asked the Captain

Legend lies without blinking. "Well, I was organizing my stuff and got distracted." He signed behind his back, making sure Wild wouldn't notice. "Trust."

Captain just shrugged it off.

The Vet continued. "The soup's was burnt! I don't know how the other's bowls were, but mine tasted like it was ash!". He turned to see Wild face looking scandalized.

Perfect.

Wild tugged his Slate to his side, and started signing aggresively. "How. Dare. You. Insult. My. Cooking." He made an effort to snap at each word he spoke in sign.

The Vet smirked. "I bet you didn't even know how to mash the pumpkins properly. My bowl still has bits of pumpkins, whole."

Wild pulled down his hood. He looks Proper Mad. "Well, at least I didn't try putting raw garlic into my soup!" Wild signed angrily.

"Well, at least I didn't try putting anything that resembles rotten flesh!" Legend snapped back.

"There is no way you tasted flesh in a pumpkin soup, it must be you who have a defective tounge" Wild signed.

"Maybe you should have checked if the pumpkins had bugs or worms, what kind of chef who doesn't check the quality of ingredients"

"Excuse me! If it was you I bet you'll give us literal twigs to eat!" Wild let out a small grunt while signing.

Everyone is looking now. While its pretty nice Wild isn't putting on his blank face he had when he was silent, the guy is stomping the ground, pointing fingers at Legend.

The Vet pretends to not notice. "Well, at least my bread wasn't under-kneaded"

Wild stared at him, yelling, "YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO MAKE BREAD!"

Time and Twilight, who was busy with the maps, turned back at the familiar voice they haven't heard for so long.

No one makes a comment on Wild speaking however, and they just looked at each other. Wild didn't care. Legend just smirked. "Well, want to test out that theory?"

"Oh, its a deal alright. When we have lunch you and I are having a bake off!"

Wild stormed off to the front, asking Time how long until their next destination is. He's still speaking sign, but he added words on top, and looked a lot more cheery than before.

Captain turned to Legend smiling. "I don't know how you did that, but good job, Veteran."

GOD banhammer is so fucking perfect, i've been staring at a picture of him in some way shape or form for probably like fifteen hours out of the last three days. he is just so very mwah i wanna bite his armor it looks so fucking cool bro. and his teeth, good LIRD his fucking teeth those chompers are driving me insane. i wanna put my hand in his mouth and i don't think i'd even be upset if he bit me for that, hell i want him to bite me. he could step on me too and pick me up and throw me down the stairs and i wouldn't even be mad. did i mention how fucking tall he is? mans is like 6 foot 11 inches, thats bonkers, he could punt me into the sun and i'd let him. his hands are probably huge as fuck too. i want him to hold me but i'd settle for being manhandled into a jail cell. he probably patrols the cells on occasion since he's just built different and i'd stand in my 'pathetic homosexual loser' cage and give him a gay little wave as he walks past. blow him a kiss and all that. he might not even notice because he's blindfolded which would be saddening but hey maybe i'll get to feel his touch when he drags me off to be executed or whatever. does he even execute his prisoners at all? if he doesn't i guess i will just rot in that cell until he sees fit to release me. bummer. or perhaps i could seduce him into letting me work as an assistant/maid/etc for him instead. he seems like he'd get off on having someone to order around directly, and i wouldn't mind obeying his every command. anyways as much as i'd enjoy letting him order me around it would probably get boring eventually. he'd probably melt immediately if i gave off even a whiff of dominance. mans still listens to his mom for fucks sake, he'll fold like a wet napkin if i yank him down to his knees and grab his chin. that might be tough with the size difference though. i could back him into a corner and grab his horns and pull his face down to mine and then kiss him or whisper to him or whatever. fuck yeah. not to mention he's blindfolded too, so i could mess around with that. he'd probably be kinda mouthy about it, especially if we have a significant strength difference, but he'd like it. putting a hand in his mouth would probably shut him up. god the thought of running my hand along his teeth is just so fucking enthralling. they look kinda similar to shark teeth. built to maul people and yet here i am touching them like the most foolish creature upon god's green earth. cough this is getting a little too immersive whoops fuck uhhh right! his armor. the gems everywhere is attractive. shiny objects are so cool and banhammer has a gem on like every section of his armor. they probably make cuddling a tiny bit uncomfortable but that's par for the course with armor. i'd put up with it. his weapon looks sick as hell too but i am not a weapons connoisseur, i am a men connoisseur. and this one is delicious cough right his armor. his boots look pretty tough. they probably have treads that'd leave a good mark if he stepped on my back. that'd be cool. i'd let him dig his heel into me with great force. god at this point i dont even wanna fuck him i just want to either destroy or be destroyed by this man. good fucking god why did i write so much. checks wiki right he has four eyes. assuming they look like his mom's do it'd probably be pretty cute. two little extra ones beside his normal eyes. he probably winks by closing half his eyes. and now i'm thinking of various seductive faces he could make. i am down so bad i can't even. i wanna kiss him choke him slam him into a wall. or have him do that to me. i'm not picky. one of us is gonna be pathetic, obedient, and submissive and i frankly do not give a fuck which one it ends up being. i'd let him put a collar on me. the thought of banhammer wearing a collar is making my brain do terrible horrible things so i will leave it at that. i do draw the line at like 'daddy' shit tho that's not for me at all & he probably has daddy issues anyway

Ghost Rider - A stream of consciousness while watching.

Decided I'mma post my notes I made while watching the movie, might do it for every movie rather than spam the feed with liveblogging me watching it. Some of it has absolutely no context and I want it to be known that especially for this one, I don't know the comics for ghost rider AT ALL so this is a blind reaction with only the movie itself as source material. I'm starting with movies not tied to the MCU or XMCU for now - then I'll be working my way into those too.

Younger Johnny is actually a decent enough actor, even if the film is super cheesy. The penance stare sequence with evil laughter, gunshots, a baby crying, screams, just so over the top I actually giggled.

Little disappointed that the cop checking his speed didn’t cut to it saying 666 - feels like a missed opportunity to lean into the silliness. So many unneeded flashbacks, yes I know what happened 5 minutes ago thank you.

The old guy is an actually decent actor, I like his vibes - wish he was the ghost rider the film focused on ngl. THE MIRROR SCENE WHERE HE’S CLACKING HIS TEETH TOGETHER AND MAKING FACES TO TRY AND TURN INTO THE GHOST RIDER, HELLO? Kjashdkjsha No wait, this whole scene of him trying to gain control is goofy. Good lord.

The ‘YOU’ thing is meant to be iconic, instead it’s so ridiculous- maybe because it’s cage. The prison scene, good lord, this man cannot act. ‘Don’t put me in here’. Pffttt. Criminals are angry he didn’t die in a jump??? ‘NICE JACKET.’

Modifying the jacket?? What ARE his powers? He can manipulate things like that just because he MUST look edgy????

I ALMOST DEFINITELY HAD A CRUSH ON BLACKHEART, this is the first time I remembered a line and it was that ‘Forgive me father, for I have sinned. I’ve sinned a lot’. Come on now young magnus, you gay as hell. No wonder I watched it so much.

The zoom on the guard pfftt. Goofy af. Finger waggle was kinda cold tho. If he didn’t blow things up wherever he went then maybe he wouldn’t draw so much attention smh. Flipping the cops off while driving away on top of the water was FIRE.

Remembering another line - ‘The suspect is going UP’, the delivery was great. Pulling in a helicopter, how strong is he actually????

I do think the elemental nature of the villains is p cool and their designs aren’t too bad, they are defeated shockingly easily though. The chain as a tool/weapon is also damn cool. Leave the old man alone dammit, stop kicking him. I know he’s a ghost rider but damn.

The red effect on blackheart’s eyes when he turns into legion, LMFAO NO. Turning the gun to a hellfire gun? Again, sir, what ARE your powers? Another penance stare, fuck yeah gimme the silliness.

His fire turning blue when he looks at her is cute af honestly, that is cute.

THE POSE. THE POINT. It’s kinda growing on me. Also I hope it’s acknowledged that he’s a known criminal now because,,, oof? Not gonna be easy if he can only be Ghost Rider at night. I LOVE THE ENDING SONG. Getting it later.

How much is best to play the first dark souls compared to other experiences fromsoftware

I wanna try playing DS for the first time ever

I already saw different game plays and I think ds1 is the most manageable out of every other title

(yes this does mean I won't go in spoiler free)

But the gameplay looks like something that could be enjoyable

Tho again the only game I ever played similar is probably hollow knight but I know there are some differences

To be completely honest, I think the best game for Soulsborne first timers is currently Elden Ring because of how many options you get and how open the game is. However, the end game is pretty brutal in my book. I started with the original Dark Souls and it was my first game of this kind and it was HARSH. I spent days on bosses that are first tries for me now. Simply because I didn't get the game yet. In Dark Souls you probably have to forget everything that similar games taught you. You are just a tiny little nobody who is way over their head and the game wants you to know that. It is a very tactical game. If you just run in and try to bruteforce it you'll die. But if you go slowly, calculated and find a strategy you will succeed. I will give you some beginner's tips: Find a weapon with a moveset you like and stick to it. Look at the scaling (the higher the number the better the scaling) and then level up the corresponding stats. For the first time it is better to go pure strength or pure dex. You can also go for a mage build which can be considered easy mode (outside of one late game area) but casting time for spells can be tricky. Resistance is a worthless stat. Don't level it up EVER. You can unhollow by using a humanity at a bonfire. Then you can actually see summoning signs from both NPCs and other players. But careful, you can also get invaded. Oh wait, you have to use the humanity first and then do the unhollowing at the bonfire. Dark Souls has a ton of secrets. Some of them are a real guide dangit moment. But you can always come back. The point of no return is literally the final boss. Just follow the path the game guides you through at first and search for secrets later. Feel free to ask questions if you are stuck! The community loves to help! Upgrading your weapon is even more important than levelling up your characters. That was it. Have fun with the game! (P.S. Learn to parry. It is incredible easy to pull off in the first Dark Souls).

   I awake and all i can see is darkness. " where am i ." I say to myself not expecting and answer but i get one.  "Sorry snowflake i can't tell you." I recognize that voice. " wait are you ...... Shoto!!?!?!?!?" He takes the bag off my head. " wow snowflake you guessed it have i ever told you how smart you are." He goes to stroke my cheek but i turn and bite his hand. " oww" He slaps me. i start to cry. " oh snwoflake if you behave maybe i wouldn't have to hit you." " well if you would not touch me maybe i wouldn't react." He hits me in the stomach. I feel like I'm about to throw up. He starts to beat me up more hes a alpha and I'm just a weak omega.                      

✨️A month later✨️        

Shoto still beats me everyday and he keeps saying he loves me and hes going to beat me till i get it in my head that i am his mate and only his. Today tho felt.... different a good different. " do you understand that you are my mate or will i have to beat you more." I don't get to answer before i hear an a door break down. " ZUMI WHERE ARE YOU!!!?!?!". I hear suki scream." HELP-" suki comes in and sees me but also sees shoto. " you took whats mine.... YOULL PAY FOR IT." ( sorry this is so cringey ) shoto takes a g*n out and points it at my head. " i suggest you do what i say or poor little omega zumi will get it." " No i will never do what you say." Before shoto can shoot or hurt me further Kirishima-kun ( is that how it works idk ) comes up behind him and grabs the g*n. The last thing i see is being carried by suki with him telling me to keep my eyes open.

Katsukis pov:           

We were looking for zumi for days on end and i was getting so stressed out. It was my fault that she was gone. What kind of a mate and alpha am i if i can't keep my omega safe. Ive not slept or ate at all. One day after a month of searching we finally find her. To say i wass happy was an understatement. We find an abandoned shack and we here screaming from inside that sounds like zumi. I yell for her" ZUMI WHERE ARE YOU!!?!?!?" she starts to scream for help but gets cut off by me busting in to find her chained to a chair with a lot of bruises, cuts and, scars. I was beyond furious. Todoroki takes out a g*n and points it at zumis head. " i suggest you do what i say or poor little omega zumi will get it." " No i will never do what you say." Before todoroki can shoot or hurt zumi further Kirishima comes up behind him and grabs the g*n. I grad zumi out of the chains and try to get her to stay awake. She ends up passing out from blood loss.        

Zumi pov:    

A few days later I wake up in a hospital to find suki sleeping holding my hand tightly and my dad sleeping in a chair. I shake suki awake. " hey wake up suki " " five more minutes " " but don't you want me to give you a well deserved kiss." He bolts awkae scaring me a bit. I see tears well in his eyes. " zumi you're awake." He kisses me and i kiss him back the kiss is very passionate but gentle and his lips are so soft. * clears throat * i pull away blushing i had forgotten my dad was here too. " you hurt her bakugo and i will not hesitate to.  k!ll you deal." "Deal sir." The door opens and the doctor walks in. " ahh i see your awake do you feel alright" " yes i feel perfectly fine." " Mkay let me run a few test on you and if they come back good you can go home." After the docter ran a few test and they all came back good we went home. " ok you two i have work to do ". "Mkay dad." I kiss his cheek. Suki nods at dad and both go up the stairs to my room. " what do you wanna do?" " i wanna do you." " then whats stopping you?" He seems shocked at my answer but recovers quickly. Smut ahead if you no like then you should go He grabs my waist and throws me on the bed. I giggle as i flop on the bed. He gets on top of me and kisses passionately but rough. He t@kes of my sh!rt and my p@nts. Leaving me in my undergarments. I break the kiss p@nting "Hey what about you i can't be the only one." He laughs and t@kes of his sh!rt and p@nts. Suddenly my br@ was ripped off and hes kissing down my body everywhere leaving h!ickes. I mo@n at every kiss. He takes off my p@nties painfully slow. I pout " stop te@sing me." " if you want me to stop then you have to beg." He rubs my wom@n hood lightly. " please d@ddy " " what was that i couldn't hear you." " i scream " PLEASE D@DDY I BEG YOU GIVE IT TO ME" ( this is so cringey ) i didnt even know his underwe@r was off until he sl@ms into me. I cry out in p@in and ple@sure. 6 months later we had a beautiful baby boy named izuku bakugo ( you see what i did there hehe ) he has my hair and eyes but both of our personalities. We couldn't have been happier.
