Not only did [Mysterious Lava Lamp Parents] pay the price of the closeness with their own children, they also paid the price of not being able to touch each other. 

THEY WENT INTO THIS JAM JAR ON PURPOSE.

IT WAS A PRICE THEY PAID WILLINGLY TO TURN BACK TIME. 

AND THEN WE SEE THE HANDS FROM PAGE ONE.

WE SEE THE BEGINNING OF THE MANGA. 

Which, it turns out, was chronologically in order! It wasn’t a vision of anything to come after it, it was a glimpse of [Mysteriously Unidentified Lava Lamp Parents] in their Jam Jar, where they went in order to turn back time, before the rest of the series happened. 

I’m guessing that means this is also how they knew to give Lava Lamp his instructions on going to the Clow Kingdom? Because something Else happened the first time around and they Turned Back Time to make sure Lava Lamp went there and caused Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle to happen instead? Which is wild to think about. And yet I'm not entirely sure if that checks out, since Evil Wolverine seems to be slightly outside of time. I suppose I could be wrong about that.

And yet I can’t see any other reason why they would have had to turn back time unless-

OH. WAIT.

… unless they were from the future? 

If they were future characters who went back to the right point in time to set the correct points in motion? 

I shouldn’t theorise about this too much, this is getting very farfetched and I’m absolutely running full speed ahead with very few facts but imagine. 

Imagine what that would mean, when added to the fact that they won’t show us their faces. 

There are only so many characters we would recognise.

THEIR “OLDER” FACES ARE STILL UNSEEABLE, BUT THEY “TURN INTO” THE VERSION OF THEMSELVES WE ARE EXPECTING TO SEE FROM CHAPTER ONE. 

WE STILL DON’T KNOW WHAT THEY LOOKED LIKE AS FULL ADULTS. 

There is potentially the most unhinged possible answer about who Lava Lamp’s parents are based on what Clamp will and won’t show us. The main option that isn't Cardcaptor Sakura genuinely doesn’t make any sense.

BUT ALSO, LOGIC IS DEAD IN THIS UNIVERSE. THEY HAVE SET THAT UP. 

DID THEY SET THAT UP SPECIFICALLY SO THAT THE MOST RIDICULOUS ANSWER FOR LAVA LAMP'S PARENTS COULD BE CORRECT?

In Twilight they make a specific comparison of Edward and Bella to Romeo and Juliet. But while thinking about this ‘parallel’ a little more I realized, Edward and Bella are not the Romeo and Juliet of the Twilight universe. The Montague and Caplet house are rivals, which is why Romeo and Juliet are star crossed lovers. However humans don’t even know vampires exist, and the Cullen family loves humans so much that they choose to eat animal blood instead of human blood, so Edward and Bella cannot be compared to these two. There are two rival families in Twilight though, the Vampires and Werewolves. In conclusion the true Romeo and Juliet in Twilight is Edward and Jacob.

What ship do you wish you could write more for?

---All of them to be honest, as someone who has had a rather rough life, I really enjoy writing about the complexity of love throughout a human lifetime. How it changes us, how it makes us better, how it can make us do things we don't want do - it encompasses so much and it is truly one of my favorite things to explore. What gives us compassion, sympathy, empathy and care for our fellow man? Why do we, as humans, feel an innate NEED to be together? How two souls intermingle and reflect upon one another just... I can't describe it. There are so many types of love to explore, and I absolutely adore each one for its own reasons.

I adore the love Evelynn and Robin have for eachother, the protective familial love that is so fierce in its emotion. The love Yone and Robin have, a mutual understanding of the misery they suffer, and perhaps an appreciation for the small things in life; how a car ride can speak more than any word. The soft, melting love between Jhin and Robin that calm every fear within them while simultaneously feeding into the essence of good and evil within their souls? The comfortable and warm love Danny and Robin feel for one another, the way they viciously know that they will spend every day together, and that they will give it their best to make eachother happy? The love that reverbs in Robin's heart when his eyes can FINALLY see the intricate beauty of a sunset? When his ears hear a melody so beautiful it brings him to tears?

I don't care!!!! Everyone acts as though love is so boring to write about but I don't and I will DIE on that hill. Oh love, what a wonderful feeling to be in such pain. To crave another human so feverishly that you wish you could merge with them, to never be alone again. I find it truly magical to explore, and I've been shamed for it before and I refuse to be embarrassed any longer! I love writing about love!

Sometimes the nonsense that my partner says scans with such a haunting level of assurance that people just fully believe them.
