never lay down in bed right after eating. don't think about staying on your phone for nearly two hours in that position. don't sleep either. acid reflux is real and i hate that guy
#uhhhh eat healthy and drink water etc etc#yknow. the exhausting but healthy things we gotta do to keep our silly billy bodies workin#i hate how this adds up to anxious thoughts djsfjdsbhjqklfehpiJADAASFGHJIOPA#i tried drawing today but it felt so draining and pointless#the floods + university strike + the cold + lack of routine + overall anxious thoughts but ig everyone is going through it too#i'm just glad my house is not under water now. my pets and things are all here and i do have blankets to warm myself with#but damn.#when your mind is not occupied with the routine it starts bothering you with unwanted thoughts#and it's not good when everyone else at home is going through the same stress#it feels just as hopeless and stressful as it was during the covid pandemic#in a way we are 'under quarantine' and isolated. unsure if it's gonna directly affect our lives.#i heard the water levels are rising quickly and people are coming in seeking public shelters...#lol idk how this went from acid reflux back to the floods. see that it's def something we can't stop worrying about rn.#what if i wake up with water on my ankles tomorrow? the videos we saw showed the water coming in so fast it's fucking scary#there was no way to just pack everything and move before it got worse.#starbstalks

Ough as the end draws near I’m seeing more and more comments that are making me nervous that the ending won’t live up to all the hype & expectations aaaa aa

Just saw a piece of DEVASTATING Rebels fanart that implies that (at least in Kanan's case? maybe) his master PERSONALLY put in his signature padawan braid. It's probably not standard or anything but let's assume that in my universe it IS traditional for a master to braid their padawan's hair once they officially decide to guide them.

I started an honor mode playthrough with probably the cutest tiefling in bg3 and I fuckn got killed during the Phase Spider Matriarch, so I decided to continue my save with dishonor because my character was just so damn cute. Well for some reason or another the game didn't?? Switch it to custom mode?? It's still honor mode??
So I'm either going to get those golden dice in the most dishonorable way possible or the game is just pulling on my leg and It's just honor mode without the reward.

#if i could just. focus. for more than 30 seconds at a time#i write one sentence of a fic and then go and check my work emails#but while i'm there i'm like oh wonder if tumblr looks different on the remote desktop internet#it doesn't but i get distracted anyway until i realise and close it down#and then go back to my own desktop to look at tumblr#where i promptly get distracted for minimum ten minutes before i catch sight of the messages i haven't responded to yet#and i type a couple words out and then think oh shit i have messages on discord#so i go there#and get distracted by scrolling through not even new messages#maybe type a few words of a message before i mark it as unread because i'm like#oh i gotta finished writing the next chapter of my thing#and then i'm like hmmm but tempting commission work#and then i go actually i guess if i'm going to take a rbeak i'll do some drawing#so i grab my ipad which is still open on creepshow which i was watching last night#and so i start watching it but i can't focus because there's something else going on#and i realise i'm already watching the simpsons on my phone which explains why i have five different simpsons quotes on repeat in my head#and then i realise that there's a song playing on spotify on my laptop#and amidst those three noises i am also entertaining myself with in my head vocal stims and out loud vocal stims#and my anxiety is like hey... wanna worry about something#AND I JUST WANT TO FOCUS LIKE ONE THING AT A FUCKIN TIME ONE FUCKIN THING#finnie shouts into the void

funniest thing about normal josh is that Josh Newman is probably as far from Normal you could possibly get, and is in fact much stranger than Sophie Foster (weirdest girl ever) due to the Issues and the Powers and [possible spoiler I'm not sure how far you've gotten]
Literally! Josh Newman is like the most abnormal guy ever, gets wrapped up in SO MUCH weird and suspicious and questionable shit. I've only read through book 4, but even that!! he's still so so not normal
and yet from him sprung Normal Josh, the most mundane and typical (in the best way possible) guy to every exist <3. Doing the most normal and expected things, living a perfectly average life. Josh Newman and Normal Josh could not be more different and I adore them both so so much
