boards season is over and there's going to be a mass burnout because all of us spent the last two months on minimal sleep, oversaturated on coffee

so here's a few reminders:

you did good. stop worrying about it stop trying to calculate what your percentage might be stop thinking about the dumb mistakes you could've avoided, its okay. you did good.

take a break, even if for a day or two because i know a lot of us have a whole lot of entrance tests coming up. but our brains and bodies have been on overdrive so take a break, you deserve it

rejuvenate. try slowly bringing yourself back into a normal schedule. work on fixing your sleep schedule, work on eating better. there's a long road ahead of us, you want to have a healthy sustainable routine to make it through this.

explore. it is not too late to change your path, i promise. this is the last chance you get to change your mind, don't waste it. explore your options now that you have full knowledge about your strengths and limits, there is so much more out there than we've been told. there are so many options i guarantee you will find your perfect fit, don't compromise on your future by just going along with the crowd, find what you want to do and work for it.

I'm probably in a small minority of people that did not want genshin to remove my ability to do reputation quests in regions I've already maxxed reputation in. Don't let Frye losing again distract you from the fact that Tricolor Bluefin Depot was absolute ass and that the ability to get mirror matches has either got to go or HEAVILY revamped. The fact that Saturday was so popular it basically doom everyone on our team to fighting eachother is hilarious. I’m writing this in a moment of weakness, so I’ll apologize for that. I know I’m not going to get much if a response, if anything, especially because I won’t be tagging this properly like usual, but… I’ve been curious about this for a while. When you guys follow a fanfic writer on this website, do you do so for the specific characters the person writes for or for the writer themselves?

If you ask me personally, I feel that most people follow for the specific characters a person writes. I feel most people don’t particularly care about the skill of the writer. All they want is content of their favorite characters in whatever form that may be. A writer may write for many characters, but the follower will only read the ones of the characters they care about.

Tbh, I don’t really feel this is a bad thing. I’m not going to fault people for what they want or like. But as a writer, it makes me wonder if my writing stands out in any way. Are my works merely another thing to quickly gulp down for sustenance or do you actually prefer to slow down and enjoy the taste? Aka, do you have a liking and a preference for the way I write? Or am I just another generator of content?
