Also, I'm not including all the verses, 'cause not all of them match up with the show, which is understandable, because this is basically me trying to connect dots that weren't supposed to be connected. xd

People say if it's meant to be - with William, as, I think, pretty much all of us thought they'd be endgame (again, I don't really mind that this changed) Then it'll be, but honestly I never thought that was meant for me, no - with William they couldn't be together, it just wasn't meant to be in their current form, because character development was kinda slow

2, And I never believed in serendipity - Eliza has had to work for most things she has, happy accidents aren't her thing (sorry Bob Ross), if I'm not mistaken (my memory is trash)

3, I wasn't looking for a silver lining, but - this is speculation for season 5, but I think:

a, Patrick will be her silver lining in William leaving

b, Eliza will be his silver lining in the whole trial process and just finally letting go of his brother's death (maybe? will it be a big plot point? i dunno, but i hope so)

I guess the universe was doing what it does - while she doesn't encounter happy accidents (as far as I remember), things mostly work out for her, even if not in the way she had initially wanted them to

4, It's like I'm weightless in your gravity, oh I never thought I'd feel so free - Patrick doesn't judge or lecture her, he lets her investigate how she wants (within reason)
