tell me more about the four kinds of potatoes

I’m so glad you asked!

So russet potatoes (the regular brown kind) tend to dissolve into the broth. Good for potato soup! Makes the broth thick and filling. Less good if you like big chunks. If you want a potato to hold it’s shape without breaking apart when cooked, you’ll want red or yellow potatoes.

But I wanted to do both! So for my soup (guinness beef stew) I planned to use one large russet potato so it would dissolve into the broth and a handful of small yellow potatoes for chunks. Except at the store I found a bag of mixed baby potatoes! It contained red, yellow, and purple potatoes!! So obviously I wasn’t going to pass up on that.

Thus, four kinds of potatoes!

I was wondering why Kit looks so much more like Dorian than Astarion, and it got me thinking about how vampire genetics work. Do you think that the only physical traits that get passed down are ones from before becoming a vampire? That said, what do you think Astarion looked like before he was turned, and did Kit inherit any of those traits?

i think that would make sense!! i feel like pre-vampire astarion probably looked about the same but less pale and gaunt (personally i hc that he just went grey really early and i’m also in the brown-eyed astarion club)

honestly though, the real reason kit didn’t get anything from astarion is because the redleaf genes are too strong and they all look exactly the same

does chilchuck get an cunty outfit like marcille did or does he stay in his usual outfit? (im assuming he becomes the master of the dungeon in the tragedy au) because i think he deserves one, let him have a funny outfit

no clue what you mean by "master of the dungeon" -- but chilchuck is on vacation , so i dont imagine him wearing anything super fancy. just whatevers comfortable + presentable enough :D his usual outfit is for work , so thats out of the question, of course.
