bisexual man, tho i don't imagine him as a 'manly man'. he's the type of guy you'd want to put in a skirt and he agrees to it(absolutely rocks it btw). i don't really remember, but i think it's canon that he doesn't find overly masculine people attractive. he leans closer to fem-aligned genders. he mostly does this to fuck with other people and he and annabeth find it entertaining. genderqueer king.

bisexual woman, and im pretty sure that she also doesn't find overly feminine ppl attractive. she'd rather wear a suit over a dress anytime(she gives the dress to percy). one time she cut her hair along with percy and that was her genderfluid awakening.

lesbian. annabeth wearing a suit was her gay awakening. she thought she was bisexual when she still dated jason, but he came out first and it made their break up easier. likes presenting more masc. possibly butch4butch. also likes wearing suits over dresses. at one point she thought she was trans, but then she learnt the 'butch' label and it resonated more.

repressed gay™. bro literally postponed his realisation. having to go on quests from such a young age, having to be constantly perfect, he didn't have time to even think about his sexuality. like presenting masc, but he's comfortable enough with his masculinity to dress feminine for the fun of it. at first he felt a bit bad when he wanted to end things with piper—she was a great friend of his—but then she also came out as gay and it became a joke between them.

aromantic asexual. never saw the point or the appeal in dating or having sex. when she first saw the term aroace it all came to her and thought 'yup, that's me'. she's a woman but like to use every pronoun.

okay I’ve been inspired, time to list all my versions of botw/totk/aoc link lets go

Wild (He/They): Nonbinary, LU Wild adjacent, generally who I write whenever I write for LU, kind of his own thing bc I feel as though I tend to stray when it comes to lu characterization to fit my own wants. Has the most trouble with memories and their past, has the least control over his emotions. Things like sorrow and anger hit really hard for them and they have more trouble regulating it. Still silly and GNC though, just not as confident about their gender presentation yet.  

Sage (They/She): Genderfluid, HSFR botw/totk Link, really leaning into the whole death/rebirth/reincarnation thing with this one, accidentally picks up a spooky vibe because they have a skeleton horse and a big comfort cloak and is extremely good at making potions. This whole vibe what I’m leaning into for Another Second Chance, even though in that one the botw Link is still called Wild lol. 

Guardian (He/Him): Too anxious to think about gender rn but is a aroace queen. HSFR AoC Link, half sheikah and it is important to his story. His life is kinda dictated by his dedication to the throne by being descended from a long line of royal knights and sheikah who have vowed to serve the blood of the goddess. Also he’s betrothed to his Zelda and on his way to becoming King/Prince Consort.  

Aryll (She/Her): Cis woman (but with complicated gender feelings as she was discouraged from being feminine for a long time and has trouble feeling valued while enjoying typically feminine things, you know the vibe) My Fem!Wild/ Link AU, is the most likely to commit regicide. Had an easier time recovering memories during botw bc of her large amount of shared moments with Zelda. 

Linkle (She/Her): Trans woman Link au, has a bit of an egg cracking moment when she was getting into gerudo town, don’t have much for this one, it might be where I put all my Link being close to the Gerudo hcs. Like, after sealing the calamity, she and Zelda go to live in Gerudo Town instead of Hateno and they’re real close buddies with Riju and Linkle goes to the nearby great fairy to get her gender magically transed. idk i love the gerudo and think they deserve better. (also her name could be changed i kinda made this one on a whim...) 

Spirit Sage (They/Them): Fem leaning enby, totk role swap au where Link gets sent back with the spirit stone instead of Zelda, they lost their arm but the stone lets them summon a ghost version that they have to learn how to control (a feature also seen with HSFR Sage), trained under Mineru and tries to assasinate Ganondorf a few times. 

Time Sage (They/He): Masc leaning enby, pre-calamity was a trans man but then their gender got pickled for a century and their ideas on gender changed a little. They lose their arm but don’t get a replacement. The secret stone they had with them amplifies their time manipulation abilities (bullet time/ sitting by the fire, that kind of thing) They have to learn to fight just as will with their left side and not wield any sort of shield. The story is closer to the canon version than the Sage of Spirit version of the au. 

Gladiator (He/Him): trans man, ssbu Link, pulled from his quest pretty soon after botw. Older brother/babysitter to Young Link (MM) and Toon Link (WW), Eyes have been opened to the multiverse and he’s kinda just vibing with being kind of immortal and meeting the strangest people. ssb lore is wacky so he’s at least allies with all of the other characters, including ganondorf at in the end. Has the least amount of fashion sense and cooking ability but at least he has little brothers and is buds with Kirby.

Luigi - timid bisexual! I can also see him as genderfluid, going by he/they/she bcs of that one comic where he disguises himself as Peach in that wedding dress hehe x3 I love that so many of my male f/os are showcased as being very comfortable dressing in 'feminine' clothing!

Engineer - now this is interesting! Cause I'm very tempted to say that he's my singular cishet f/o, but let's face it no one in TF2 is cishet not even Scout 😂😂 I think he IS cis, being kind of traditionally a rugged man's man, but he's definitely not straight. Pride Hcs Masterpost Thingy IDK

Kai is a trans man, panromantic, and demisexual! He'll flirt with just about anybody that catches his eye (and some that don't) but the thought of a serious committed relationship scares him to no end. He/it, along with fire themed neopronouns (flame/flames/flamself, flare/flares/flareself, and ash/ashes/ashself)

Cole is not one for labels, he feels that they're constricting and put expectations on him. He's a sorta-guy who likes other guys and sorta-guys, and that doesnt matter! He/they/it!

Nya is genderfluid and queer! No it's not because of her element, it's because her struggles with being perceived as a woman resonated with my poor little genderfluid heart. She also IDs as queer because it is a LOT easier than trying to explain her sexuality and preferences- she likes masculine women and feminine men and it's complicated damnit. Usually uses she/her or he/him but sometimes combines them!

Lloyd is 100% transmasc you can pry that from my cold dead HANDS. Also, he hasn't really had the time to properly explore himself and his sexuality, but he about figures he's demisexual and probablyyyy gay? He/him, but openly experimenting with neos!!

Zane is sorta complicated because I headcanon that Julien didn't build or program him with any specific sex, much less gender, in mind- Zane knows he is male, but he doesn't have an AGAB so he just says he's cis for simplicity. As for sexuality... He IDs as Aroace! He doesn't put a label to his relationship with Pixal, but she calls them queer platonic partners!! He/them!!

Jay is. Listen I dunno what this guy has going on xe is NOT cishetallo though. Light is AFAB and identifies trans masculine but not entirely as a man and. Yeah just don't question xem. Will use he/they, along with any neos (but they've coined light/lightning/lightnings/lightself, xe/xem/xeir/xemself, and spark/sparky/sparks/sparkself!!)

Wu is another who doesn't use labels- partially because he doesn't feel like it's knowledge anyone needs, and partially because he isn't confident enough in his identity to choose- guy's pretty much spent his entire life on other people, after all. Will use any pronouns! People assume and she lets them!

Garmadon is fairly similar to Cole- he feels that labels are constricting. Their gender and preferences in partners are no one's business, in their mind, from as far back as their childhood to as recent as their time in the Departed Realm. He/they/it user!

Morro is... This kid doesn't know what gender is and Wu had to teach him pronouns. Zeph doesn't give a fuck. He/they along with Zeph/Zephyr/Zephyrs/Zephyr's/Zephyrself.

Pixal is pretty similar to Zane, except that she was built and programmed more feminine leaning. She'd likely say demigirl and aroace if asked! Her and Zane have talked extensively about their relationship, and agreed that she is free to call them QPP! She/it!

Mikey: He/They/She (in order); given her powers and empathic self, Mikey has lived countless of experiences thru time, so his gender is unlabeled/agender. They're also Aro-Ace ♡

Donnie: He/They, he's definitely under the non-binary umbrella but most people forget it, including me... (I've been addressing him with only masculine pronouns in my AO3 sorry!) He's bisexual, no preference; they're also asexual, poor guy doesn't have time to meet someone who can love him (he needs some validation still).

Leo (oh boy, this was tough): He/Him; he tries to act masculine 24/7 because he's the leader of the Resistance and a "prime example" to others (toxic masculinity), but in reality he likes to express as feminine too (but let's be honest, gender labels are BS); if he were truly himself he'd be genderfluid with masculine pronouns. Queer; he's also bisexual but male leaning.

Raph (also tough since he's Kraangified): He/She, come on... The Kraang are aliens with no assigned gender? But also I feel like it'd suit Raph perfectly! He's straight, but an ally ❤🥰

Whether they're trans or cis (except Mikey, he's definitely agender to me) that's up to you, I don't really have them a gender assigned so feel free to hc!

i wouldn’t say any of these are like super set in stone for me because sometimes i think of a story where a narrative would be better if it was different (now if only i sat down and wrote those stories…)

Mal - i use she/they for Mal, though i mostly lean towards they/them. i like to think that faeries have a different view of gender than humans (because gender’s a social construct and faeries have a different society and all that) so they’re pretty detached from the human terms and don’t really care all that much about how they’re perceived. I don’t think Mal really had to come out to the core four since they were well known on the Isle + it’s common there to refer to all faeries with neutral pronouns unless stated otherwise. in Auradon, people mostly referred to Mal as she/her and that didn’t really bother them, but some people who became closer to the VKs hear others referring to Mal with they/them and start using that (tho Jane did that from the start because Jane’s also a faery!)

Jay - uhhh much less complicated, he’s a cis man who’s comfortable with his masculinity. plus, when he starts learning more about Agrabahn culture (which in my head is Arabic, mostly Saudi) and incorporating elements of it into his daily life with the help of Aziz and he is excited about it. a lot of it is what could be considered feminine in the western world, but Jay doesn’t give a fuck. kohl and floaty fabrics and silhouettes and the like.

Evie - definitely has complicated feelings about gender. because she was raised with this very narrow view of what is a girl and a woman and was only taught the restrictive parts of it. experiments a lot once she’s finally free of her mother, with her style, expression and what feels actually natural versus what has been taught by the Evil Queen. i’d say, at the end of the day, she uses she/her but doesn’t mind they/them either but mostly when describing her gender she’d say ‘i’m a witch!’

Carlos - you know how autistic people can feel a degree of separation from their gender because it’s all social and one of the big things with being autistic is trouble with social shit? yeah, that’s Carlos. went through a lot of his life like ‘well, no one really feels like the gender they were assigned at birth, we’re all just performing our roles, right?’ i think the realisation would only hit when in Auradon, a safe place where VKs don’t have to survive day-to-day but can actually live and explore. i don’t see Carlos being attached to a label, but the closest would probably be genderfluid. i feel like a lot of the time Carlos is a little separated from like their gender identity and it’s not really on their mind but there are time when it feels more? closer? so some days, they ask for specific pronouns to be used but mostly he’s good with he/they. again, i don’t think Carlos would have to come out, they’d just burst into the girls’ room one day and tell Evie to make them into ‘the prettiest girl ever’ and Evie would reply with something like ‘well i’m the prettiest ever, we can make you the close second’

!!!!! i just got done writing Nb Angel Headcanons 👀 i kinda bounce between ftm angel and genderfluid angel as far as headcanons go but my fav nb angel hc is angel kinda flows through being genderless or masc aligned. Usually transmasc but occasionally feminine, fine with any pronouns that aren’t she/her. is attracted to men and masc nb people.

also 👀👀👀 nonbinary alastor is 👌 i Project onto him so i hc he is afab and kinda went “hmmmm....... the concept of partaking in feminine activities or being percieved as female repulses me........ i must be a man!” and Transitioned. then fastfoward to after he dies, he learns from vaggie that nonbinary people exist and kinda goes “oh”.

BUT i also have this hc of amab alastor who doesn’t really know what his gender is (bigender? agender? gender neutral?? who knows!) and is apathetic as far as pronouns/gendered language goes. call him whatever you want as long as you do it with terror in your eyes. but also they/them alastor makes me Big happy

My fav takes on Angel are FTM trans and genderqueer with a preference for he/him pronouns, though he won’t blink at they/them either. I just don’t think he cares about gender presentation at all and just wants to look cute/pretty/sexy, and is very assured in his own masculinity or gender/lack of gender/himself.

I love nonbinary Alastor so MUCH thank you for mentioning this. I also project onto him quite a bit - side-eyes my ASPD and origins/headcanons posts, heh - so I tend to lean towards agender Alastor. Just, doesn’t get it and doesn’t give a single fuck about “gender” or whatever that’s supposed to mean.  He dresses, acts, etc. how he likes because that’s what he likes and there’s nothing more to it.  “Call him whatever you want as long as you do it with terror in your eyes” is the best and most beautiful line I have ever read and I am absolutely stealing it for daily use, thank you.

And yeah, that first al hc also certainly seems very Alastor-ish. He knows the rules of being a proper “gentleman” or “lady” and absolutely did not like the rules for “lady,” so “gentleman” it is. And then some years down the road, someone’s like... hey.. gender only has to mean something if you want it to mean something... or you could just be a different gender altogether, you don’t have to follow outdated societal rules when you do whatever-the-fuck-you-want the rest of the time anyway, and that dusty lightbulb finally flickers on.

I love both of your headcanons and they’re both big moods and your brain is beautiful, you have my utmost thanks for sharing this brilliance (and they/them Alastor also makes me absolutely ecstatic, I admit. I’m constantly tempted to have Al be they/them nb when I’m writing fics.)

Kate is a lesbian. No question. I do think that she probably had a crush on Chess when they were younger, and maybe that’s how she realized she was lesbian, but now, her heart belongs to only one woman, and that is Eva. (I also strongly suspect she had a celebrity crush on Eva for a while.) 

Chess - ACE. Ace as hell and this is the hill I will die on. I also saw a nonbinary Chess headcanon and I absolutely love. Maybe it’s just because I relate to her a lot, but definitely nonbinary asexual Chess. She’d probably be polyromantic and polyamorous, too. (She wouldn’t have a relationship with Kate and Eva, but I really like polyamorous Chess.)

Annleigh, let’s be honest. This girl is probably straight. But she is definitely trans, and I actually think maybe she came out after her dad’s death, and maybe she deals with a lot of conflicted feelings about that, since he never knew her as his daughter, but we won’t go there right now because I’m in a fluff mood and that whole train of thought is not a happy one.  

Farrah - AIN’T NO LIE BABY BI BI BI. And quite possibly a demigirl. Actually, I think she was assigned male at birth, but is definitely a very feminine-presenting demigirl who uses any/all pronouns, but likes feminine labels, such as “sister.” I think that if any of the Tigers were going to use neopronouns, it would be Farrah. She’s also bisexual, no question about it. 

With Reese, I’m a little less certain. I think she may be pansexual, with a strong preference towards masculine-presenting people, and she may also be a she/her, they/them cisgender girl. She’s the type to wear pink, yellow and blue every single day in June, and make elaborate pride art, and go full-out, and it drives Cairo insane. 

NONBINARY MATTIE NONBINARY MATTIE NONBINARY MATTIE NONBINARY MATTIE NONBINA- Mattie is my definite favorite character and they are definitely 10000000% nonbinary and don’t try and tell me otherwise. Also, possibly lesbian. Yes, I do very much like nonbinary lesbian Mattie and if you disagree, that’s okay, I respect your opinion, but you have to admit that I’m right. 

Eva is the lesbian queen? Of course? Homoflexible lesbian. She may be genderfluid, but I think that 75% of the time, she identifies as female. And 10000% of the time, she is in love with Kate. She helps Reese with all the pride art and flags and I mean ALL of it. She arranges a pride trip for all the Tigers, goes all-out. They all love it. 

Clark is a panromantic demisexual transgender man and I know this for a fact. He adores Annleigh in every way, and can’t imagine dating anyone else, but he knows himself that if he wasn’t, of course, going to be married to his beautiful Dressage champion girlfriend, he would be open to falling in love with anyone, regardless of gender. 

I love the Tigers and I will always go all-out when it comes to headcanons, so thanks for this ask!! I very much had fun with this.

do you have more NB seven stuff? i'll sob

I have a lot of genderfluid/nonbinary Seven HC. It just depends on what you hear about it from me! I haven’t written a long post for it but I’ve got countless posts scattered about this blog about Seven where I’ve talked about my NB Seven HC! 

I know for sure I’ve talked about it when I’m writing about my Poly ship with my two MCs Judas and Minji with Seven. Like, there are days when Seven feels way more fem than masc so he lets em’ know straight up what pronouns to use for the day, and they alternate titles accordingly. 

Sometimes Seven just winds up crying when they use she/her. Seven doesn’t mind what pronouns you use unless you’ve been told specifically what you should use that day, that’s my personal HC. Like, I’ve spoken about this a lot and I should have been using a specific tag for it but like a dummy, I didn’t. But, you will find a lot stuff on this blog in the saeyoung choi tag because I’m a dummy that likes to talk about Seven enjoying life. 

I know I’ve mentioned it in the Dadderwood AU too! There are also those posts with the Lumberjack MC that I’ve shared it on because fuck toxic masculinity and let Seven dress and be how he want to be. Oh, there’s also the friendship posts with Seven and my MCs Lila and Judas, where they are best friends who wear cute dresses and clothes together and support each other’s passion. 

Like, I’m just out here making content where Seven can dress how he wants to dress. Whether that means dresses or pants or whatever the hell cosplay Seven wants to wear. Like, honestly, I’ve talked about this so much that I’m surprised I don’t see more people asking about it. 

I know I usually lean more into the feminine aspect but I feel like Seven is never able to express that side in a way that isn’t made out to be some joke. It ain’t a joke and I take Seven’s passion for dressing up as a positive about himself that he discovered through the agency. Like, he learned something about himself in a bad circumstance but it feels validating for him to know that what he feels is more than okay, it’s right for him. He can feel masc, fem, or neither and you know what? 

He’s happy to know that about himself. Clothes are clothes and he feels good about himself.

I’m rambling but there’s a lot of stuff here and I wish that I had thought to make a tag for this specifically but there’s just a lot of it because I like to babble about Seven living that good life. If you want me to talk more about it, God, I am happy to do that. It’s one of those HC that is really important to me. I know I love Saeran but I love Seven just as much!

I mean, I always write Vanderwood as NB too!

Right so I'm genderfluid do you have any head cannons for a gender fluid tua character? I just love your blog dude!

I had a post about all the sibs being trans and a post about all the sibs being aspec but I can't find either of them with tumblr's weird tagging system (and my inability to tag correctly/consistently, let's be honest here).

Who comes to mind first when I think about someone being genderfluid is Klaus! I think the actor talked about nonbinary (?) but Klaus feels like he's very laid back gender wise (like, whatever pronouns are fine, gender is a construct anyway, no big problems with dysphoria).

So I can see him using multiple terms to describe himself! Like, nonbinary to show that he doesn't prescribe to gender roles/expectations, genderqueer because he likes playing around with his gender presentation and genderfluid maybe because he has days where he feels more feminine/more masculine/neither.

(He is the total opposite of Five in my head, because Five has pretty bad dysphoria and hates he/him pronouns and just...holds themself to more rigid rules in a way? They're more cautious about playing around with their clothing amd stuff but I hope to write a fic about the two of them and their gender expression soon).

Otherwise I had different trans hcs for them all and for example, I can see Diego as a trans guy trying very hard to be an 'alpha male' to make up for...things that seem to him like he's a 'lesser' man but are ultimately just in his head.

I could see Allison as being genderqueer or genderfluid too! She probably embraces her feminine side very openly but she likes playing around (similar to Klaus). I think her preferred pronouns remain she/her tho.

Ben could also be a trans guy, I actually like that hc a lot! Maybe Diego did transition but Ben never did because he died beforehand and that's why he's so keen on covering up? (Just playing around with ideas here).

Vanya's cis but she could easily fall into the butch category and lean more towards a more male presentation of herself (maybe even prefer he/him pronouns).

And Luther. My Son. He has no idea about gender roles, growing up as sheltered as he did and despite popular fanon belief I don't think Reggie had any rigid gender expectations. The Dude's an alien, he probably saw nothing 'wrong' with Klaus walking around in High Heels as long as he can still do missions.

So Luther has no idea that dresses are 'only for girls blah, blah' and happily let Allison do his make up when they were younger. He probably loves pretty dresses - even more so that he feels so big and awkward - but he has such bad dysphoria, he rarely wears anything pretty anymore.

He's probably pretty secure in being a guy but I feel like he doesn't really care about behaving like a guy or 'looking' like a guy (which could be a big point of conflict for Diego and Luther because Luther basically has the body Diego wants to have and doesn't even care about it, whereas Diego tries so damn hard to 'pass')

But I love every and any trans hc (I don't have any rigid hcs, I am open to everything) so tell me about your thoughts!
