Ramona I think has a bit of a more gentle hand with reassuring Scott with gender issues, but sometimes she just can't help herself from some pointed banter or teasing- how could you with someone so dense? (Said w affection)

It's very emotionally intimate. 2. I figured out Marinette's arc in the next chapter due to a lot of help from @ladyofthenoodle and I'm so excited to bring that to life!! 3. Excited for Ladynoir shenanigans now that I've just set this specific corner of loose. My favorite scene at the moment is Tom and Sabine watching Ladynoir have a breakfast date while they worry about where Marinette is. 4. We're so close to the Ladrien first kiss!! Ahh! 5. I'm excited about writing Alyadrien scenes and straining DJWiFi at the same time.

omfg i haven’t really thought of the lore of this au in depth 😭 i just know i wanted it to be feral violent dark devotion <3 just very intense and raw but VERY genuine like there’s genuine love there that makes them soooooo insane <3 i think the idea of king!geto is just delicious…

there’s rumors across the kingdom where the now king!geto murdered his parents in cold blood in order to usurp the throne (is this real or not? who knows? not me…) to those he dislikes/who dislike him: he’s a cunning king… sly… manipulative… calculating… tactically/strategically intelligent… he’s like a viper <3 venomous serpent fangs ready to strike when the opportunity presents itself, his fangs leaving ragged bloody raw bite marks in his opponent’s necks where they simply won’t ever survive // on the flip side/more human side he’s a young king after all so in the privy of his castle/palace he’s a bratty, huffy, dramatic king :> a funny lil twist from the demure, elegant, alluring king that the townspeople see

BUT on the opposite end for those he adores/adore him: he always looks out for them! he really does LOVE his people i think the reason that he’s SO beloved is because he wants to create a better world for his subjects! he’s kind, caring, & always has their best interests in heart! he keeps them safe, he goes into the town to speak to vendors/assess how to help them, & then plays with the little children (nanako mimiko megumi yuji & yuuta are especially fond of the king and he’s especially fond of them <3 they’re all his little babies <3)

as for knight!reader… omfg insane human i love them. they’re like if a wolf, raven, & a panther had a baby. just a rugged/morally grey/sick sick sick individual 😭 i think in the beginning their devotion stems not necessarily from Love for suguru & the royal family but from the Love of fighting/killing! they were a ward of the infamous assassin toji zen’in and worked under the tutelage of king ryomen sukuna, a tyrannical & heinous king. they have a scar that runs from their left eyebrow down their eye on the middle of their cheek courtesy of sukuna </3 they’re like an undomesticated dog who needs to be reared in through trial & error, strictness, & punishment.

and you may think… What The Hell are they doing as suguru’s knight then??? 🤔🤨

well if you saw a single knight take down an army of bandits all by their lonesome wouldn’t you be intrigued…? regardless of anything you know that they’re CAPABLE & able to PROTECT. which is the most important thing <3 the perfect duo: a king who already has a screw loose in his head and a knight who never had any screws in their head to begin with <3

basically knight!reader is a fan of the hunt more than anything <3 imagine them walking towards suguru all bloody with a wild glint in their eyes and a massive smirk… suguru for once in his life found someone/something he can’t control…

… but suguru likes a challenge and he likes to tame <3 reader isn’t a brat, they’re just so feral & need to be put on a leash for their own benefit/the benefit of those around them <3 he wants to domesticate this undomesticated dog and train them properly. my knight!reader is the type to submit willingly but only to those they respect.

that’s why the “call off your dog” aspect is so delicious to me……… reader is so feral and violent and always has their fangs bared, their canines sharp & bloodied. and suguru is always holding their leash, ready to draw them back or ready to tell them to “attack.” it’s all based off of suguru’s whims & orders at the end of the day. knight!reader bows only for suguru and suguru alone <3

sidenote suguru & his knight have like . sadomasochistic tendencies . not necessarily Sexual vibes but like……… the knight is quite masochistic & suguru is quite sadistic (to each other… but they love it… another facet of their Sick dark weird devotion towards one another)

and also by dark devotion i mean reader is on their knees with suguru’s knuckles against their lips, the epitome of: “let me kill for you. let me bloody my hands, let me show my love in this way, in a violent way, the only way i know how.” and suguru cradles them like a father would a baby: “let me tame you. i’ll bark out the orders and you’ll follow through. because you devote yourself to me. and because i love you. i will show you my love through control & intense passion, the only way i know how.”

also i have a Certain Scene in my head that ultimately showcases their love for one another and i’ll just say it here bc i don’t think i’m writing this story anytime soon and i know i’ll forget if i don’t write it down 😭 but after a battle or smthn reader comes back bloodied and scarred and for once in his life suguru feels genuine fear. it’s unbecoming of a noble king to carry someone who is Designed to Protect him to his personal bath, but he does so regardless. i think one of the MOST intimate things is to give someone a bath… and he does that. he’s no longer a king and you’re no longer a knight… he’s a worried young man who bandages & bathes you, who needs to take care of his beloved by doting on them oh-so carefully & oh-so softly. it’s almost like a purification process for both of these characters too.

and then suguru sees something on the knight’s body… it looks like a tattoo but it’s a brand (think of sukuna’s markings but along the knight’s stomach & back) suguru then really looks at the knight and realizes that… this person is just so tired. weary. young. they enjoy the hunt but they’ve always existed to serve others, to protect others, to take the punishment so others don’t have to…

i think he gains an extra layer of respect for reader and is almost… sad? i think he thinks abt if they met under different circumstances would they still be tied to one another? had he been a teacher and had reader been a butcher — would the devotion still be there? and then he catches the knight’s eyes staring into his… and he’s positive. 100% certain. no matter the era no matter the circumstance no matter which lifetime they’re in — the intensity of their raw devotion towards one another withstands the test of time. also TRUST the knuckle kisses that the knight gives suguru are soooooo reverent

BUT yeah blah blah blah this sets up the NEXT scene which would be suguru giving reader a hickey in the bath (his own form of branding) and sukuna sees it the next day 😹 like “oh? you took my little rottweiler puppy and made them a refined wolf… good for you.”

i’m all over the place but ESSENTIALLY that’s the gist of it all 😭 there’s SOOOOO much more lore/twists/turns and such the further i think abt the story but omfg……….. you know what maybe i will write this soon 🫡 they’re my beloveds

WIP 1: OG Verse - fun times with Celeste & Gabriel

He has to resist the urge to throttle her, lest he ruin the inside of his house filled with years of carefully handpicked items, ones he held a certain fondness for. "You ruined my life, Celeste. Or do you not recall?” "Your life?" She tilts her head in mock curiosity. "What life? The one where you were sent anywhere they told you to go, like some mongrel with a barely slackened leash?" “Excuse me?" “We can pretend otherwise. Keep up the illusion that your life was marvelous, picture perfect even. But we both know the truth, don't we?" She takes a step closer. “You were nothing but the High Council’s defanged pup. Cluelessly doing their bidding before I freed you. If anything, you should be thanking me." "Thanking you?" He clenches and unclenches his fist in an attempt to suppress his anger. "Hate me if you must, fight me even, but do it later. Right now we must get out of here. If they do not know where I am yet, they soon will. What do you think will happen once they realize one of their precious dhamphirs has been under their nose this whole time?"

Unbidden worry strikes him. He listens, waits, and when his ears pick up the sound of soft, even breathing he lets out a breath of his own. Celeste and the baby were still there, unharmed, perhaps even sleeping. It brings an odd sense of comfort, reminiscent of times long forgotten, times he didn’t want to remember. If he did, he’d have to remember what brought them to a halt in the first place and he had a job to do. Grief and old wounds had no place here, at least not at the moment. Kicking his boots off, he treks into the bathroom and gently closes the door behind him. It’s a simple design: Shower to his left, toilet to his right, and a sink with a mirror above it directly across from the door. Leaning against the sink, he ruffles his short, black hair that's shaved on the sides and traces his fingers over an old, faded scar. It runs down almost the whole length of his face, going over his left eye and stopping just shy of the corner of his mouth. Overlapping it is another, only this one goes across his face horizontally, over the bridge of his nose and from cheek to cheek. The only thing that remains of the old Gabriel are his blue eyes, once full of life and mischief, now faded and dull. Turning away from his visage, he heads toward the shower and turns it on, stripping down while he waits for the water to heat up. He doesn’t need a mirror to see the multitude of scars and tattoos that adorn his body. Aching for another drink—if only to dull his senses and lingering memories once more—he curbs the yearning and steps beneath the water.

WIP 2: They Watch From The Pews

Willa squirms, trying to dodge cold fingers that reach out to trace over the letters, caressing them with a sadistic fascination that makes her stomach curdle in disgust. Disgust quickly transforms into a desperation to get away once he finally reveals the knife kept hidden behind his back. “Usually I’d peel the sin off but… I think this will suit you much better, don't you?" Pressing the tip of his blade into her skin, he teasingly drags it across her skin. "Tell me, Deputy, how did you feel when you got the news of Samuel's death?" "Chipper." She spitefully answers with a sneer. John heaves a dramatic sigh and presses the blade down harder, prompting tiny beads of blood to bubble up as he traces over the letters of her tattoo. "You can make this easier for yourself, you know." "I've heard that before. Got me a bullet to the leg." "Because you ran. My men only acted accordingly." "Fuck you and your men, pussy." "My, what a mouth on you." He tuts and makes a deeper cut. Her teeth sink into the leather in her mouth, denying him the satisfaction of hearing her make a noise. Without pause, he moves onto the second letter, brows scrunched up in concentration as he goes over the lines again and again. It isn’t until he’s on the last letter that she finally breaks with a muffled groan. He stops, lifting his eyes from his work. “Comfortable?”

I decided to read some of ur older works instead of going for my monthly The Sweetness of Honey reread and????? Script: Flipped is phenomenal and i know u havent posted in that series since 2022 but if u have any more info or background on the 'verse then I am desperate to hear it 🙇‍♀️ especially bc u listed jaytim in the series description and I desperately need to know how that goes down!! Who initaiates! What is everyones reaction!! That one line about how easy it would be for tim to manipulate jason into going rogue with him after the Felipe situation but wont because he has a family who loves him haunts my dreams!!

omg has it really been that long…

script: flipped… that was the first time i had had momentum for a project in… over a year by that point, so it’s still near and dear to my heart! i do have a couple of fics finished/almost finished for that series, but as i’ve written more for the fandom & thought more, there’s actually a few things about that series i’d like to change (among other things i’d like to work in the slow build jaytim better), so… i’ve been putting off editing & posting ^^;

the next fic chronologically would have been brucequest, which likely would have been multiple chapters. jason is the one who sees a picture of bruce in wayne manor, but in the wrong time. he does a little more intel gathering at the library/various other places, and then when he’s sure his theory is solid, he goes to tim.

mostly bc he knows damian has a lot on his plate with being batman & taking care of dick. tim agrees that it’s worth looking into so. they decide to check it out. i’m not sure how much they tell the others 🤔

this is where things get fuzzier for me bc i remember doing a lot of daydreaming & not a lot of writing things down or planning, lmao. but they spend a lot of time alone together, just the two of them, which does absolutely nothing for jason’s crush—and helps tim to start to see jason in a new light. (well. he’s already started, but it helps him see it more, you know?)

in most of my daydreams i imagined them getting together while (reluctantly) working with ra’s. practically i’m not sure how that would work, especially given tim’s history with them. i think tam (or… tiffany? i suppose? she’s older, right? i may keep tam tho just because i’m slightly more familiar with her character) still ends up being caught and used as a hostage, basically.

this is when feelings are realized and maybe confessions are had, but they can’t really. *do* anything about it until they get out <3

how the rest of the arc is resolved is going to depend on how closely they end up following it dhsjhdjd

and then after *that* i suppose there would be explorations of how they make it work as a couple & the family’s reactions 🤔

So I don't have too much to share. But I do have a few bits, so here we go: 1. not truly one, but truly two, Chapter 3

Joo Won cannot and does not suppress the scoff that radiates up from a scornful corner in his gut. The photograph was from a handful of years back, taken as part of an overtly calculated coverage of LPRA’s donation to a children’s charity. Of course, it was done purely for publicity and Joo Won still remembers how - almost desperately - his father wanted him to be in attendance for such a high-profile event.  But alas, Joo Won couldn’t attend. How could he, when he had been stationed on another continent? Such glaringly crucial details are often deemed insignificant in Han Ki Hwan’s eyes, especially when it is his pride that blinds him so.

2. gargoyle (affectionate) [working title lol. not really, it's just what i've named the doc] (beyond evil)

The day was still in its infancy, petals wet from the morning dew and the sunshine creeping over the crest of nearby hills. Daytime starlight peppered the sky as clouds transcended across the horizon like blended paints on a canvas: from murky hues of Payne’s grey to periwinkle before mellowing into dusky shades of blushing pinks.  Blushing. That’s how Joo Won presented himself to Dong Sik. The uncharacteristic slump to his usually rigid shoulders were just out of place as his fingers tracing the lavender resting in the undergrowth of the young hornbeam tree. Dong Sik observed him, allowing his gaze to consume the image of Joo Won’s slender fingers caressing the flower blooming in his garden. Calyx and corolla alike are under the full scrutiny of Joo Won’s considered touch.  His hands are going to smell so sweet, Dong Sik muses with a fondness that has long been blossoming.
