actually I think that neil josten is very smart. he’s quick, clever, and a MATH nerd. he’s a polyglot! he keeps decently good grades despite having a VERY unstable schooling. he knows how to manipulate people to get information/people to do what he wants. he’s incredibly observant and is able to predict what the people around him are going to do. he’s so so smart
and he’ll throw all those braincells out the window when he’s with his bestie, matthew donavan boyd

The canon mizurui dynamic > 90% of the fanon ones I’m sorry but they’re so deep. Complex web of lgbt middle schooler mental illness. I dislike immensely the watered down “they’re super duper besties” like they get each other in a way no one else possibly can but they’re not each other’s People. Do u understand. Their friendship is built off of being alone and unhappy and relating to each other but not being able to help each other just being able to offer the ability to talk to someone who Gets It.

Fabian and Riz to me are like. They’re like the definition of “a secret third thing” to me but not like in a qpr way. Their thing is just Their Thing, like they’re inseparable they drive each other fucking bonkers they care so deeply and they’re stupid teenagers and I don’t think they would even really think about it at all. I don’t think either of them can imagine a world where they’re not at least around the other, and like whatever their thing is definitely isn’t allo but it’s definitely not regular besties shit. They just like being around each other, I don’t think either of them would really even think to put a name to whatever it is they’ve got going on, and I definitely don’t think either of them would ever put enough thought into it to even figure out what a qpr is, much less label themselves in one. They’re just Fabian and Riz. The Ball and Captain of the Owlbears. They’re just them I think. Idk man.

do you think mike heard will cry himself to sleep the first night he was in lenora? if he wasn’t staying in will’s room then maybe he couldn’t sleep either and he was tossing and turning for hours before working up the courage to walk down the hall and see if maybe will was still up. maybe he got all the way up to his door before he heard it— stifled sobs, muffled and choked out like they get when you’re specifically trying very hard to not be heard crying. and the first thing he feels is guilt, because he knows why will is crying, and he just keeps playing on loop in his head the way will’s face had fallen when mike didn’t hug him at the airport. how he should have just gotten over whatever had come over him in that moment and hugged him anyway, if it was going to hurt him like this. and then he feels even more guilty because this is will’s private moment, and mike isn’t supposed to be here, and god, he can’t even let will be upset in peace without intruding. do you think he walked back to his bed in silence, probably missing will even more than when he was still in hawkins?
(because i do. i think about it a lot.)

I don’t really ship 87 Ramona (although I do love the idea of them in a QPR) but. If they did feel romantically for each other it would take forever for them to actually get together, if they even do, in sharp contrast to the 2012 “we’ve known each other two hours now we’re committed for life” speedrun. Raphael would have fallen in love years ago but would not recognise this fact once. Mona Lisa is also part of the problem. She has a layer of superficiality she always uses as protection over her true feelings, so how does she even know her flirting is sincere? How would Raphael be supposed to know? She’d overthink it. Also she’s a lesbian so falling in love with your best friend is like mandated and agonising. She’d have accepted her fate and already resigned herself that it’s never going to happen. She’s just happy they’re close to each other. Meanwhile Raphael thinks “huh, I want to marry her” then goes about his day. This realisation occurs multiple times but he never reads into it.

Pebble is the one who gave mist her piercings when she was summoned and fully prepared himself with homemade numbing salve and a cloth for her to bite down on
So imagine his surprise when he checks on her after the sharp metal goes through her skin and she asks if he’s done it yet
In other words mist has an insane pain tolerance and pebble asks himself daily what the fuck is wrong with water ghouls
