whooooo having an anxiety attack about covid. again 👍
#cw negative#cw vent#nowe talks#it's hard to describe what about it is the worst source of anxiety for me. it's not What If I Get It. it's mostly just. it's just.#i sometimes feel like our society has just forgotten that it's a thing. or that society has forgotten that it's A SERIOUS THING.#like this thing that Kills People.#i know it's not lethal to most people but it still is a very serious thing!#why have we as a society shifted from “protecting the people most affected is a collective responsibility#(via vaccination and masking and not showing up to places sick)“#to “well what if all the people belonging to risk groups just deal with this on their own and the rest of us go back to normal?”#idk man maybe i'm sensitive because my grandma died of covid a week before Christmas last year.#or because both of my parents are over 60 and my dad has another risk factor illness on top of that.#idk man. i just feel so. unsafe. unsure and scared and tired. i just dont want other people to go through what our family did last december#i want to stress that i'm not blaming any individual people for this.#my frustration is almost solely directed towards the goverment not taking covid seriously enough#and like i'm not perfect. i'm not sure what's the right thing to do and what's me overreacting.#i recognize that i am often incapable of thinking clearly about this subject#sometimes i feel like i am the only one in my circle (family included) who is this worried about it still. i'm not blaming my loved ones#i'm not saying i'm better than them that's not it. i just. sometimes i just feel so alone with this#and idk how to make it better?#like i have good moments and bad moments with this anxiety. it comes and goes. but. idk.#i think her death's anniversary coming closer combined with the rising covid numbers in my country is just doing a number on me

Accidentally In Love | Part One
Pairing: Aaron Hotchner x florist female reader
Summary: Penelope has a plan: throw an arrow full of love dust and make you and Hotch fall in love with each other. A series of small…inconveniences keep happening whenever you two end up in the same room, so it takes her more than one try to work her magic on you. Each incident serves its purpose, though, meaning Garcia’s work is only the last push you two need to get a happily ever after—a Penelope centered fun ride with lots of fluff and all the cheesy stuff.
Word count: 2.6k
Content/warnings: nothing really. Just fluff.
Long author’s note: I can’t remember where this idea came from but oh boy, I love it so much. This little story might be my last Hotch x reader piece ever and it feels like an appropriate story to wrap up the end of an era for me. I will always love Aaron Hotchner and I’m so grateful to have found this fandom. It’s not a long fic but I’ll still split it into a few parts because I think it reads best.
To my very loyal readers, I see you always and I love you forever and thank you for everything. I hope everyone who reads it love this story as much as I do and as always, I’d love to know what you think. Enjoy! Mwaaaah <33
Tumblr media
Penelope was born with a gift. She could see people’s hearts—like actually; bright red beating flesh inside people’s chest cavities.
Most had a glow of their own that came with a special colored aura. She often felt them as her own, too, and though that might just be the deep empathy her dad also had, she embraced others’ heartbreaks like a treasure from day one.
Her gift came with what could be considered a lethal weapon: an arc and endless arrows. It wasn’t supposed to be dangerous since she was the only one who could manipulate it and see it overall—and because the arrows were made out of clouds—but she’d never been very skilled at using it, so accidental love matches happened often. Most happened when she was a kid—when she’d just discovered her gift and would use it at the supermarket or the movie rental with two random people. It was like introducing a Ken doll to a Barbie for the first time ever so it really was just a game.
It became serious business when one of her closest friends in high school got her heart broken by some guy named Trent. It physically hurt Penelope to see her friend’s heart break and do nothing about it, so she went out of her way to find a guy with a pure heart for her dearest friend; they’ve been together ever since.
That love match was the one that made her polish her gift. She’d keep a love-matches tracker journal where she’d write down everything—from potential couples to different scenarios where she could make the magic happen. Her aim was the one thing she hadn’t been able to refine that much just yet. It has improved, but accidental matches kept happening, just not as often. Which was part of the fun, anyway.
The fun turned into dust the moment she got the call about her parents getting in a car accident. Her gift froze along with her heart that night. It took her a while to let it warm up again, even when it was all she wanted; the only thing that’d truly make her feel something other than grief.
It was hard, though. She’d witnessed love slipping away from people every day and every time she knew she could’ve done something about it. She didn’t want to push herself that much—it drained her, so she started again slow, remotely, with online love matches since she spent most of her time behind a screen and under a fake name. That worked, surprisingly— Bitter_Fruit_Punch and Dark.Knight announced their relationship through the chat 3 months after Penelope worked her magic on them.
Matchmaking has been part of her daily life ever since. It brightened up her own heart to see others fall in love so why not make it a full-time job? She was getting paid with smiles and love all around which was a much better reward than money but she couldn’t actually live out of it.
Her actual job wasn’t so bad—being recruited to work for the Behavioral Analysis Unit was one of the best things that have happened to her—it paid her rent, and she could afford colorful outfits and even more colorful glasses that matched every single piece of clothing she owned.
At the beginning of her career, she was hesitant to use her gift on the people she worked with. It was a serious and professional environment, but being surrounded by blood, murders and real-life monsters pushed her to subtly pull some strings the more she got to know her team.
She wanted each one of them to have a significant other, but not everyone’s hearts were easy to work with. Some hearts were too fragile or too stone cold. Some of them loved too much and others simply didn’t know how to show love, even when they experienced it immensely.
Emily had one of those hearts that unexpectedly loved too much once and simply would not let anyone in anymore because the one time she did, she had to die to keep herself safe.
Spencer’s heart was… something else. Which made it hard to find him the one since not many understood how it worked. He had it once, and it slipped away right in front of him.
JJ’s heart was as stunning as her eyes. Friendly despite having some scars from her past—as most hearts did. Her heart craved love and to be held tenderly, so as soon as Penelope felt how JJ’s heart would glow around a cute guy with a Louisiana accent, she threw an arrow at them.
Then there was her boss’ heart. One of the hardest hearts she’s ever come across. One of the biggest ones, too. Aaron Hotchner had a good heart, and when his ex-wife passed away, his heart only had room for his son.
Hotch was one of those cases that needed its own section in Penelope’s journal. She often thought, what if Haley was his one true love? Did it mean he couldn’t have another one? She wanted her boss to be happy, so she gave his heart all the time it needed to heal.
The right time came but she needed to test the waters first, so she put a pretty woman in Hotch’s life. Her name was Beth, but she wasn’t the one—García knew it from the beginning since their hearts weren’t on the same page. It was a good exercise that showed her that Aaron was ready to love again, though.
That’s when the real challenge began.
Tumblr media
There was only one person perfect for Aaron Hotchner: you.
Penelope met you thanks to one of her many hobbies—theater. She needed a bunch of floral arrangements for her upcoming play, and your flower shop was a very well-known shop in the city. She walked through the door and the floral scent bathed her along with your welcoming heart.
It was like finding gold. One of the prettiest hearts she had ever seen. Glowy and generous like your smile, and so warm a ray of morning sunshine couldn’t compare. It resembled a mosaic and all she could think about while you showed her around all kinds of flowers was Hotch and how those broken pieces perfectly fitted together.
What Penelope didn’t know at that moment was that you two had met each other before. Or rather, shared a single glance.
You had the same favorite coffee shop—the one close to your flower shop that also happened to be on the way to the BAU. He’d thought you were beautiful; you’d felt the same. But that’s about it. Neither of you dared to make the first move if possible.
Until it had to happen again.
“Thanks.” You smiled at the barista while receiving your latte and turned around, bumping into a broad and very good-smelling silhouette.
You didn’t get the chance to give him a smile since your coffee spilled all over your hand.
It burnt like hell, but you didn’t even make a sound.
“Are you alright?” he was quick to assist you, taking your almost empty cup from your hand at the same time a bunch of hands around you offered you napkins.
“Yeah, I’m okay.” You looked up and finally smiled at him. That wasn’t a common face so you remembered him perfectly—made your heart thunder senseless like the very first time you laid eyes on him. “You have no idea how often this happens to me,” You tried to play it cool.
Your cheeks started to grow hot from the inside out. Painfully slow. It completely erased the burning sensation on your hand. You looked down to dry the sleeve of your blouse hoping the heat of your face would disappear.
It didn’t.
“Let me buy you another one.” He moved you out of the way by your arm and guided you to an empty corner. His touch was as gentle as a petal.
“Oh, there’s no need, I promise. I’m okay. There’s still some left.” You peeked at the cup he was still holding. There was barely a sip. “I— I should go.”
“Please, I insist.”
The look of concern made him even more attractive. You couldn’t reject him with words so you simply gave him one last look and walked away in a hurry, leaving Aaron with his mouth half open before he could insist even more.
The barista called his name right after and the guilt while he received his perfect order wouldn’t let him enjoy it. He walked to his car with his coffee in one hand and your empty cup in the other. The least he could do was get you another latte, somehow. Thankfully your name and order were on the cup, and there was only one person who could make that happen with that little information.
“I need your help and I need you not to ask any questions.” He stormed into Garcia’s office and stood next to her, dramatically placing your empty cup on her desk.
She jumped at his sudden presence. “Y-yes sir. What can I do?”
Hotch gave her some more details he picked up from you from the brief interaction that could be useful. The more she typed each one on her computer, the more information about you showed up on the screen. Her naive self thought it all was just a coincidence, but then a news page popped on the screen from a couple of years ago. There was a tiny picture of your pretty face in the bottom right corner that announced the opening of your shop.
“That’s her,” Hotch confirmed.
Penelope looked up at him and caught the glimpse of a smile taking over his lips and a tiny spark inside his chest. She held the urge to squeal right then and there.
Hotch didn’t tell her much detail about how he ended up having your cup, but his heart already lit up at the thought of you. Meaning, it shouldn’t be so hard to make you two fall in love, right?
All she had to do was make something like that happen again and be there to throw that arrow.
Tumblr media
The coffee stain on your sleeve looked like a jasmine blossom—if you really stared at it.
There was no point in washing it off since the coffee was almost dry. Plus, wet sleeves around your wrists would only worsen your day. You should’ve known it was going to be like this from the moment the hot water ran out while in the middle of your shower this morning.
But you were at your shop now. Your happy place. A dream come true. Nothing could bother you as long as you were there, so you decided to leave the embarrassed thoughts behind and went to check on the flowers and plants you had outside on display, making sure they were healthy and ready to be chosen.
They’d been sorted by size since the very first day. Tallest at the very back and smallest in front, that way none would be unnoticed.
The voice of a stranger calling your name made you turn away from the ficus trees. You didn’t know the kid or why he was handing you a cup of coffee that had your name written on it.
“I think you got the wrong person.” You hesitated whether to receive it or not. “I didn’t order anything.”
“Well, someone did. This is Silver Spring 2089, right?” He looked at the numeration behind you.
“Yeah?” You took the cup just so you wouldn’t leave him hanging.
“Then it’s for you.” He nodded with an annoyed customer-service smile. “Have a great day!” He hopped back on his bike and added, “I think there’s a note for you,” gesturing at the cup with his brows.
“Oh, okay? Thanks”
“Whatever,” he rolled his eyes, pedaling away.
You stood there for a moment, frozen by confusion. You had no idea what that was about but it was better figuring it out inside rather than out in the sun. You made your way back inside your store and once you were behind the counter, you examined the cup, twirling it in 360 degrees. It only had your name on the outside.
“Hmm.” You bit your lip.
Maybe the note was on the inside? You slid down the cup holder, revealing a note written in all caps across the cup.
HOPE YOU CAN STILL ENJOY A LATTE AT NOON.
Your lips twitched into a smile and the good kind of butterflies spiraled in your stomach.
The kind that you haven’t felt in so long.
Tumblr media
García knew her boss too well. He may have sent you the coffee but he was going to need a little push to get him to do more than that.
“So?” García walked into Hotch’s office. “How did it go?”
He lifted his eyes from the paper. He had no idea what she was talking about.
“Flower girl?” She continued. “Her coffee?”
His eyes rushed back to the document. “She received it, I suppose.”
“You suppose?” She took a few steps closer, the click-clack of her heels loud under her. “She didn’t text you a thank you, you’re so incredibly nice?”
It was very unlike you if you didn’t.
“She doesn’t have my number.” He looked at Garcia again. “So I don’t see why she would.”
“You didn’t write it somewhere in her order?”
“No?” He frowned softly, waiting to be reprimanded.
“Sir,” she huffed out a breath, sitting across from him and placing her thick sparkly journal over her lap. “That was your chance.”
“Of what?”
“Of… love.”
He paused for a moment and sighed, raising his brows while saying, “There’s no time.” As if he was trying to convince himself.
“There’s always time for love,” she quickly added.
The truth was that he didn’t want to let someone in yet after Beth. It had already been scary back then to let Beth in after Haley. There was a big difference, though. He let Beth go by choice—which was the right thing to do—and Haley was ripped away from him.
Both things have hurt his son, meaning it wasn’t just his heart that could get exposed to love or abandonment by letting someone new in.
Jack’s heart lived right behind Aaron’s, so he had to be careful.
“Is there anything else you need?” He changed the subject.
Penelope’s face dropped in defeat as she said a quiet no, though it slowly turned into a smile as she added, “I mean yes. Yes, actually, I’m here also to give you—” she riffled through her documents and took out a flyer, handing it to him “—this.”
The flyer promoted her new play, and as always, had her face on it.
“This Friday?” He took a closer look at it.
“Everyone’s invited, per usual,” she said proudly.
Whenever he got the official invitation, he looked forward to it. It reminded him of his high school years and often made him want to give it a try again now that he was older to do something out of the ordinary. But in this case, there really was no time.
“I’ll be there.” He smiled at her. “Thanks.”
“You are very welcome.” She stood up and walked to the door.
“Hey, Garcia?” Hotch got her attention, making her turn around. He remembered when she was embarrassed about the team finding out, and now they were a permanent crowd in each of her plays. “I’m proud of you.”
“Thank you, sir.” She smiled big big. “Goodbye, sir.”
She left his office with a bright grin and an even brighter plan.
If he didn’t dare to give you his number or any other hint about his persona, she was going to make sure he did.
That very same day she sent you an invitation to her play.
Her plan? Forced proximity.

Classic me, I’m not sure when I’ll post next part but I hope you enjoyed this ♥️

AvA Blue Character Analysis
Starting this analysis, I thought I would have trouble coming up with something important to talk about with Blue. Their character's been pretty stated, right? They're a pacifist potion-creator who likes eating weird stuff and is good with a bow. They're pretty acrobatic, they're a decent builder but not the best, they don't like being in leadership roles. That's their character, right?
No, it isn't.
The first statement in that list is wrong. Or, at least, is missing many key details that explains a lot more about what Blue is actually like.
Blue has been commonly described as a pacifist, and I can understand why. Before looking into this topic, that's how I thought of them too. They've never been one to start a fight with their friends (unlike most every other member of the Color Gang) and in Piglin War, they wouldn't hurt the piglins, only the zombies.
But that doesn't make them a pacifist. It highlights another aspect of their character that I will discuss later in this analysis, but it doesn't make them a pacifist.
Blue has been shown, time and time again, to kill. They killed the ghast with Green in season 1, along with Yellow's ghast friend in one of the shorts. They have fought pillagers with lethal force, and taught villagers to do the same. They even killed piglin brutes along with the rest of the Color Gang in the Ultimate Weapon. They never hesitated to do that, despite going out of their way (and almost dying) to avoid hurting any of the piglins in Piglin War.
Tumblr media
Additionally, they seem to enjoy the act of fighting. They happily join sparring matches with the rest of the color gang, and will even initiate them as long as they know it is all in good fun. So they do sometimes enjoy battle, and show no hesitance to kill when the situation requires it.
Tumblr media
This doesn't make Blue any worse than the rest of the characters, since they have all fought mobs and killed before and they all like fighting, but it certainly doesn't make them entirely peaceful. So why do they have a reputation as a pacifist? Why do they seem so reluctant to start serious fights, and why were they so careful around the piglins in Piglin War?
Tumblr media
Well, the answer to that seems to be that Blue forms a very close protective bond with those they care about, and they form those bonds very quickly. Everyone in the Color Gang cares about each other, of course, but Blue tends to express their bonds in a different way, and forms said attachments so quickly, that their actions tend to resemble pacifism.
Blue has consistently been quietly protective of their friends in a way that none of the others seem to express. They avoid fights - with their friends. They try to stop conflicts - between their friends. They go out of their way to make sure their friends don't get hurt. They risked their life multiple times to save their piglin friends, both in Piglin War and in The King. Their main focus is often to support their friends and, most importantly, keep them safe.
Tumblr media
In fact, while they've never backed down from a possibly-dangerous adventure, they also have never (purposefully) started one. The only time they did start anything of the sort, they went out of their way to not bring any of the others. New adventures can be dangerous after all, and the last thing they want is for their close friends to get hurt.
This apparent desire for peace that has led to Blue's reputation as a pacifist is really more a focus on keeping their friends safe by avoiding infighting, rather than them disliking battle in general. But this still seems like a good thing, on a surface level, since being the protective mediator should help to keep those friends they value so deeply safe.
Tumblr media
But there is a problem with Blue's thought process. Because their friends have gotten hurt before. And, worse, people who Blue had started to view as a close friend have hurt them. And they haven't taken either scenario well.
Blue often appears to be the one who's hit the hardest whenever it appears their friends have been hurt or killed. Everyone cares, everyone's upset, but Blue always appears the most distraught. They're so afraid to lose their friends that they will regularly risk their own life or even harm their friends on accident - most notably in the Ghast friend short - in an attempt to protect them. Blue isn't instinctual like Orange, but their actions can still be misguided when they don't have time to think everything through.
Tumblr media
But there's more than one way to lose a friend. Purple's betrayal seems to have affected them deeply, such that - significantly after the betrayal, even after it appeared Purple was their ally again - Blue was very reluctant to trust anyone who reminded them of Purple. Far before Mango revealed their plan, Blue still did not trust them, solely because Mango reminded them of Purple. Blue puts in so much energy and trust into their friends that losing one through betrayal hits them incredibly hard.
Tumblr media
Blue is a lot of things. Like all the Color Gang, Blue makes friends easily. They always do their best to keep their friends safe, both from outside threats and from each other. They're crushed at the idea of their friends dying, and will risk their life to stop that from happening. They're afraid of betrayal.
But one thing that Blue is definitely not, is a pacifist.
Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed, you thought of this topic in a new light, or at least found it interesting! I'll be honest, I really did think of Blue as the pacifist one up until now, but from what I can tell now that's based in something entirely different.
Thanks to rigatoniiiiiiii for the suggestion to do something for Blue! And sorry for like directly contradicting the one thing you said about them but this was the topic I came up with- 'XD I was considering doing something on their relation with Green here too but this is a long enough analysis already so I'll do that some other time.

You know how all of the gunners inside of hallucigen are hallucinating and stuff? How would male companions react if they breathed it in and what would they hallucinate?
I am taking FULL creative liberty with this one. Most have to due with the companions pasts, so here’s a spoiler warning thing. This is also assuming the drugs work on synths like Nick and x6 🤷‍♀️
Male Companions in Hallucigen Inc.
Danse: For the most part, Danse would probably hallucinate that any combatants inside were synths, super mutants, ferals, or something of that nature that the Brotherhood is used to massacring. It doesn’t change his demeanor or actions very much. The only thing that might change is Sole’s mood when he turns around and calls them Cutler. The first time they think they heard wrong, but when he does it a second, and a third time, it starts to hurt their heart a little. He genuinely thinks they’re Cutler throughout the entirety of the building, and he’s acting a little different, a little more relaxed, like his old friend really is there. If it’s post-bb, the whole thing is entirely worse. He sees everyone as Brotherhood trying to kill him and he’s a panicked mess. He will try to pull Sole out of the building if he can. Will have a very hard time killing anything and Sole will have to do it themselves, and if they do it in front of him, he’ll immediately launch into a huge angry betrayal monologue, probably with watery eyes. In both situations, when they get outside and he breathes the drugs out of his system, he will apologize profusely but won’t remember much, other than he doesn’t really know what kind of enemy they fought inside.
Deacon: Let’s just start by saying, vulnerability isn’t a Deacon thing. And when he’s on these drugs, it is probably the most vulnerable Sole has ever seen him, and the most vulnerable they will ever see him. His cool, calm demeanor flies out the window, and his hands start to shake, no, his whole body starts to shake, because these aren’t Gunners anymore, they’re the UP Deathclaws. They’re all ghosts of his past, faces he saw only when he massacred them after they killed Barbara, coming back to haunt him like phantoms. He still knows Sole is Sole, but he will go into this protective mode he’s never gone into on their behalf before, because he can’t lose them to the Deathclaws, too. It is arguably the most dangerous he’s ever been in battle, the most serious and lethal he’s ever been in front of Sole. They hardly had to take out any gunners themselves. When it’s all said and done, and he’s got the drugs out of his system, he will remember everything but pretend he doesn’t. Might disappear for a while afterwards. He needs time to be sad, to get himself together before he bee-bops back to Sole like nothing ever happened.
Gage: He is actually pretty resilient to the drug at first, probably takes the longest for him to actually start hallucinating, but his is by far one of the worst. Not only does he see everybody as Connors old raiders, but he sees Sole as Connor, and will absolutely fight them. They will have to take his gun and probably wrestle him out the door. He doesn’t even know where he is — the entire atmosphere changes, takes him back to a place he hasn’t seen since he was a teenager, to people he hasn’t seen in decades. No matter what Sole says, he won’t relent. All the while he’s screaming profanities and stuff at them that they can’t even understand because his accent is so much thicker than normal. He will fight tooth and nail with Sole. If they take his weapons, he will come at them with his bare hands. Once they finally get him into some fresh air, he takes the longest to get back to normal. They might need to tie him down or something because dude ain’t giving up. Once he finally comes around, he’s very confused about why Soles bleeding all over the place and why he is, too, because he doesn’t remember anything. Might apologize if they admit it was him.
Hancock: His is less of a fight or flight kind of thing with enemies flying everywhere. Instead, he just sees his brother’s crooked face, his mile long smile. Flinches around every turn because he’s there, clutches onto the back of Sole’s bag like he’ll simply pass away if he lets go. May or may not say something to his brother, beg him to leave them alone and go away, or maybe something about the Institute. He might shoot at him even if he isn’t there. Every person that runs out of nowhere, every noise of shifting rubble, every voice in his head, it’s all him, the synthetic version of the man he grew up with, following him and taunting him, reminding him that his real brother is dead over and over and over again like a broken record. He will ask Sole several times if they see him, too, if he took any botched chems. He just stays super close to Sole, touching them, if he can, staring at the floor as they walk through the compound because every time he looks down a hallway he sees him, every time he glanced through a doorway he sees him, every time he rounds a corner he sees him, smiling, staring at him like the day he let the ghouls in Diamond City get kicked into the wasteland. Once Sole gets him outside, he remembers it all vividly and will probably take more drugs trying to forget it. It’s was so traumatic for him that he may have nightmares about it.
MacCready: He doesn’t seem all that affected at first. The only hint that the drug is getting to him is when he turns around to look at Sole and immediately freezes, probably drops his rifle, and whispers, “Lucy?” It doesn’t matter if Sole is male or female he’ll see Lucy. He immediately starts questioning them, where did you come from, I thought you were dead, where’s Duncan, is he finally better, all the while crying so hard he can barely breathe. He won’t touch Sole because he’s afraid Lucy will disappear if he does. Completely loses all fight instincts, and sole will have to basically drag him, tears and questions and all, through the entire building. He does not need his gun because he gets insanely jumpy and will shoot straight at walls and down hallways even if no one is there. He doesn’t dare leave their side, though — because last time he left her side she died. He seems to comprehend on some level that this can’t possibly be Lucy, that it has to be a dream or something, but still acts on the tiny flutter of hope in his chest that says it’s really her, she’s right there. He probably sees other things, too, like Winlock and Barnes rushing at him, a mountain of ferals climbing over each other just to feast on his flesh. But the only thing he sees consistently for the entire course of the building is Lucy. Doesn’t remember a thing when it’s over and has a massive headache from crying so much.
Nick: Nick’s is mostly a hodge-podge of old, scary memories he didn’t remember he knew. Old psycho killer cases the old Nick went on, where he got pursued by a man with a knife covered in blood, a homicide investigation where a group of people tried to kill him in the pitch black, the frantic screaming of a kidnapped child echoing through corridors without a solid direction to take. A bloody teenager tortured for answers, barely breathing when he made it to them, a woman chained up in a basement, a red-handed thief beating him over the head with anything he could get his hands on. This will probably render Nick more unable to fight than anything. Constantly asks Sole if they see that, if they heard that, might call them the name of an old partner but won’t fight when they tug him gently through the building. He’s very careful not to shoot because he doesn’t know who’s good or who’s bad, where they are. He will probably just rely on Sole to navigate him through the building, to talk to him, help the hallucinations fade. Once they get outside, he forgets what happened, but can suddenly recall all those memories he didn’t necessarily want floating around in his brain again.
Preston: Oh my God, so many tears. He sees the faces of all of the Minutemen, all of the settlers he wasn’t able to save at Quincy. Probably the most… self aware while under the influence? Like, he knows Sole is Sole and can still have a conversation with them about who and what he’s seeing. He knows it isn’t real and Sole can talk him out of seeing it by telling him no one’s there, the hall is empty, etc. But that won’t stop him from immediately starting to cry as soon as he sees the first person he let down in his life. He will apologize to the nonexistent people, plead with them for forgiveness until Sole pulls him away. May or may not see the settlers he did manage to save, like Sturges or Marcy Long, dying and will rush to help them even if they aren’t there or it’s an injured Gunner. Sole will have to pull him away. The entire thing is extremely hard on him, and by the time the drugs are out of his system, he apologizes for crying even though he hasn’t really stopped yet, and will accept a hug for once in his life because he is torn up. He stays distant from Sole for like, a week, even if they keep traveling together, and it’s probably best if they keep an eye on him. Just to make sure. He will politely ask them never to take him into that building again.
X6-88: X6 doesn’t really get afraid. Well, he thought he didn’t, until Sole took him into the building he so quickly decided was hell on earth. He has the weirdest freaking hallucinations, the entire thing is like an acid trip. He doesn’t know where he is, he doesn’t know what he’s doing, and he doesn’t know what that humanoid looking thing is doing climbing across the cieling? No, wait, what the crap is that massive dog-like figure with six foot legs doing with roller skates? And why is that tree trying to talk to him? Why does he feel eyes on him from behind? Why is he hearing voices he’s never heard once in his life? Will shoot at literally everything. He turns into more of a turret than a courser, literally spraying every single room full of so many lasers sole doesn’t even need to do any killing. He’s so, for lack of better word, completely and utterly horrified at what he’s seeing. Gets jumpy, might accidentally pistol whip Sole if they scare him, it’s probably best if they hold onto his shoulder or something so he knows it’s them. Once he leaves the building, he tells Sole he will never go back into that hellhole even if they’re dying inside and he’s the only one around for ten miles.

Hi Panther,
Wow Tranformers went fast. May I please ask for Star Wars Yandere Headcannons, With Grand-Admiral Thrawn towards child reader. Maybe one one he adopted or took an interest because of some genius intellect or serious artistic talent.
Thanks,
Bookwyrm
I can try. Darling is at least 18 in this but it is implied Thrawn has had you for awhile since I don't do child reader. Hope I get his character right, I watched Lore Videos to try and understand him since I was unfamiliar with him :( If he's totally wrong my bad!
This is also a general view, not any specific series or media. I hope next time If I write his character I am more familiar with him ^^;
Yandere! Platonic! Grand Admiral Thrawn with Adopted! Darling
Pairing: Platonic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Manipulation, Overprotective, He's actually an okay dad (minus the manipulation), Toxic parenting at times, Dubious companionship.
Tumblr media
Thrawn is one of the best strategists/tacticians.
He prefers to take a non-lethal approach and would rather just manipulate those around him to get a desired outcome.
Thrawn prefers to plan out entire outcomes, opting for winning wars instead of battles.
He can outplay others with his extreme intellect and planning.
Thrawn is also very patient.
He isn't sadistic like many in the Empire, he actually wants to prevent potential dangers in the galaxy.
He isn't really evil... just has his own goals despite who he works for.
Plus in both canons it's confirmed Thrawn is an exiled Chiss, tossed out by his species.
Despite this he still cares for his people.
When Thrawn first met you he did take you in for one of the traits you mentioned.
Perhaps you are intelligent and capable of planning/tactics.
That or maybe you have a talent for understanding the arts of cultures.
Either way, Thrawn would've taken you in if you showed potential to be taught by him.
I feel Thrawn would've taken an orphan or an abandoned child.
He'd sympathize for you due to being cast aside himself and notice desirable traits in you.
Thrawn most likely took you in because he saw pieces of himself in you.
As a result he felt he could mold you into the successor he feels you deserve to be.
Thrawn wants to try and raise you to look at the bigger picture, to have the genius he does.
The Empire most likely has little issue with him taking you in.
They assume he'll make you loyal to them and be just as promising.
Thrawn prioritizes teaching you what he knows.
He teaches you certain tactics and quizzes you to see if you were listening.
He has you study cultural art to teach you his way of planning.
Thrawn actually seems like he'd be okay as a dad.
However, he is incredibly manipulative.
His teachings are ways he can influence your actions.
You don't know it but Thrawn is making you like him.
All you care about is the fact you have a dad.
Thrawn encourages this by trying to be fatherly, too.
When alone he often coddles you.
He praises you and holds you, attempting to give positive reinforcement.
At first his actions towards you are planned like everything else.
But then Thrawn really starts to see you as his child.
He was truly meant to be your parent... in his eyes.
Thrawn cares for you up until you're a young adult.
Thrawn has raised you to share his skills.
While he plans out attacks and overall strategy/plans, you pipe in to give advice.
By this point he has taught you well.
You're even gaining Imperial ranks of your own.
Even if you're an adult Thrawn still tries to be close with you.
He's happy you're successful, fully molded into what he wants you to be.
Yet he isn't ready to just let you go.
Even if you fight him he is adamant you stay by him to plan.
He makes it seem like things will collapse if he doesn't have you help him as his child.
He even tries to hug you like he did when you were young, despite you pushing him away.
Thrawn as a parent would make his child into who he feels they should be, then expect them to stay by his side.
He tries to mean well... but in reality he has used you.
He'd manipulate you even when you're fully grown.
Yet he'd never put you in harm's way.
He loves you as your adoptive father.
Perhaps he should've never gotten attached?
As said before I don't believe he himself would kill.
He tries to use tactics to influence desired outcomes.
If Thrawn feared you'd leave him or wish to change your loyalty...
He has methods of changing that.
You may be his child... but he will not tolerate you leaving him after he took you in.
Most parents expect their child to leave the nest.
Thrawn doesn't want you too.
Especially if you happen to swap sides.
He feels you're stronger with him... loved with him...
So he'll convince you to listen to your father...
Even if it means he has to re-educate you behind a cell.

Obey Me Datables Breakfast HCs
Lucifer-
•He's canonically not a morning person, so he wouldn't have much energy
•He'd make coffee how you like it though
•if you don't drink coffee probably pour some juice for you
•He would be very appreciative if you made him breakfast in bed instead
Mammon-
•He normally doesn't cook breakfast for people, beyond when it's his chore, but for you he'd make an exception!
•He wants to make you a classic breakfast in bed, bacon and eggs
•Got a bedside table so you can eat in bed
•The bacon is a bit salty and extra crunchy, and the egg isn't the best
•He gives you a glass of milk and tells you it's because humans need the stuff in it for their bones to grow
•you're unsure whether or not to tell him human's bones stop growing after a certain age, which you're likely past
Levi-
•He does have some cooking expertise, he wouldn't make it often
•when he does though, it'd probably be something like an omelette with a picture drawn in ketchup on it
•he wouldn't bring it to you in bed but he'd still surprise you with it
•in contrast to what you think, he'd probably draw something more suited to your taste as opposed to something ruri chan themed or anything based on one of his interests
•especially if your interests are nerdy like anime
Satan-
•Makes a slightly more complicated breakfast for you like eggs benedict
•Also brings it to you in bed
•If you're willing he'd probably feed it to you
Asmodeus-
•Despite what you might think he'd put a lot of effort into learning to cook breakfast for you
•He'd make something like a sweet crepe
•He'd spend hours trying to make it perfect and aesthetic for you
•Offers a variety of fruit for you to put on it at your own discretion
•Also a healthy smoothie, probably mainly strawberry
Beelzebub-
•He's not much of a cook, but he learned that humans sometimes make their partners breakfast in bed
•He didn't realize it typically meant cooking it yourself so he probably got akudonalds or something like that
•He thinks sharing food with you is romantic, it's his way of showing his trust and love for you
Belphie-
•Makes fried eggs and slightly burnt toast
•He would improve over time as he continues to do it
•Also gives it to you in bed, sits/lies next to you while you eat as you have casual conversation
Diavolo-
•I think he would be an absolute disaster in the kitchen
•It would be a wreck
•Barbatos does most of the cooking so he never really learned
•Its the thought that counts though, I suppose
•He probably got ambitious and tried to make waffles and french toast
•Barbatos is now teaching him to cook
Barbatos-
•This man is a master chef, it's canon, he could cook a 5 course meal for breakfast
•But realistically? No
•He would covertly learn your preferences and make breakfast suited just for your tastes and dietary needs
•If you have no drink preference, he'd make a different tea each time, so you can continually try new things
•He puts flowers in a vase as decoration
•He uses flower meanings when choosing which to use
•"Peonies represent good fortune, I hope this may inspire as much for you today."
Simeon-
•He'd make his signature pancakes, syrup and butter on the side if you'd like
•His voice is extra raspy in the morning
•also brings you your drink of choice
•If you have no preference, orange juice
Solomon-
•fucking RUN.
•C'mon be serious
•"Good morning MC, I made you breakfast in bed." From Solomon is the start of a horror movie
•I know some people say they'd try his cooking but it's literally canonically lethal and makes demons sick
•You are not built different
•Maybe just, make breakfast in bed for him, instead.

Thinking about Purity
I have two thoughts on Purity. Here they are:
One. Her trigger event consisted of her being trapped in a lethal environment with no resources, gradually going insane, and developing overwhelming firepower in order to fight off a horde of assailants who didn’t actually exist. I can’t imagine what that’s a metaphor for. Haven’t the foggiest.
Two.  Purity is interesting, from a worldbuilding perspective, because at the start of the story there’s an actual niche archetype from the comics that she’s fulfilling.
“Hardcore street-level hero who actually turns out to be a racist lunatic that the actual heroes need to take down” isn’t quite a chestnut at the big two but it’s a story beat I’ve seen multiple times; Nightwing vs his building’s insane janitor in Dixon’s run, Captain America vs Jack Monroe and to a lesser extent USAgent, I feel like Batman’s deal with Lock-up from the animated series inches towards this, although that one wasn’t explicitly racialized. Punisher’s done this a couple times, It’s Peacemaker’s whole bit, there’s definitely a few more I’m forgetting.
So the subversive element here isn’t that she’s an openly racist superhero; it’d that she’s still allowed to be a racist superhero. It’s that a thematically appropriate hero like Legend hasn’t come to town specifically to drop the hammer on her for daring to be an openly racist superhero.
And to be charitable, what’s usually going on in those other stories is that the racist heroes are almost always explicitly bad knockoffs of the protagonist. They’re intended as a dark mirror, because the obvious failure mode of heroic vigilantism is that it’s extremely appealing to racists, glory hounds, egomaniacs and egomaniacal racist glory hounds, but the flip side of that is that people with those characteristics go down like chumps in a fight with a true-blue hero. They exist in the story as a one-off warning for the real heroes, who give them a chance and then chuck them in the bin when they show their true colors.
Worm, though, doesn’t have a just-so structure. The racist idiots who get superpowers and develop delusions of heroism don’t provide the courtesy of also being weak and incompetent enough that the “real” heroes can root them out with minimal fuss. Purity won the goddamn power lottery; she’s one of the most powerful capes in the Bay, with hit-and-run capabilities that all of the heroes working together are textually incapable of countering. (And this isn’t like The Boys where they’re all secretly in bed with each other- New Wave has serious beef with the Empire! They would absolutely pin her ass to the wall if the opportunity arose, but they can’t!)
So in a very real sense, The Protectorate is pussyfooting around her, letting her exist in the gray zone of self-deluded vigilantism, because.... well, the second she can’t sustain her self-deception anymore, the second someone really pushes, her go-to reaction is to commit a mass casualty event. She was always a time bomb, and so the strategy of just continuing to label her as a villain, while she continuously hopefully refreshes PHO to see if any helpful fans have updated her wiki page yet, is, you know, I get it. It’s not great but I get it. A hands on approach only works if you can actually lay hands on them.
But! As far as I can remember, she was functionally operating as an Independent Hero as the setting defines it! Everyone in power pretends she isn’t but she was still in that ballpark, hand in hand with how selectively racist she was being about it! She was a vigilante, she was out to target “criminals” and clean up the streets using her powers, she had a costume and a secret identity- actually one of the few capes we see in Brockton Bay with a full-time day job- and she was really really really racist.
So with Purity, Worm is being honest about the inability of a superhero community to clean house, to effectively police who gets to be a part of it, who gets to actively consider themselves a part of it. There was never going to be a righteous beat-down where she gets “kicked out” of the fraternity, no “you are not affiliated with me” moment that finally gets through, even though many heroes in the setting would dearly love to deliver such a thing. A certain level of power purchases the right to think of yourself in whatever terms you want, and the heroes just have to stand around looking uncomfortable and swearing up and down that, no, her vigilantism is different from good vigilantism, honest, completely different underlying models.

☔Is there a fic concept you have that you'd like to just explain and share because you're not sure you'll ever write it? If so, what is it? (From the writer asks, obvs. Also hello I hope you're having a good day!)
Hello, and I hope you're having a good day too! Regarding the fic I doubt I'll ever write, I have a very vivid murder mystery idea starring Angus McDonald and Barry Bluejeans. The reason I doubt I'll write it is because it's extremely long, for one thing, and also because the plot has just a couple of holes I have no idea how to fill in, but I would still love to tell you all about it:
basically, a young man named Aven, from a family that Angus did some low-stakes detective work for before, reaches out to him — having recently come into a large fortune, and also, a serious paranoia that others are out to get him. Aven, while being quite cagey about how he got all this money, invites Angus to a grand ball in his new mansion — a defunct museum that he bought with this fortune — where Angus will keep an eye out for treachery.
specifically, he's meant to keep an eye on four individuals Aven invited specifically so that Angus could suss out any ill intent. there's a lot of other folks around to provide cover, but Aven describes the four as people who "don't like me, or know my lethal allergies." they are:
his sister
a rival rich guy from Goldcliff
the ex-curator of the museum he bought
his primary care physician
also, Jeff Angel is there because Angus asked Aven to pay him in Jeff Angel autographs/meet-and-greets, and lastly, of course, a very nervous guy named "Sildar Hallwinter" (it's Barry) is there, because he broke into the mansion to investigate whether Aven had a Grand Relic. (not that amnesiac Barry understands it in those words. his coin just gave him a vague description of some assorted items to watch out for.)
in a coincidence that turns out to be very unfortunate for a lot of parties, Angus recognizes the name Sildar Hallwinter from some very well-respected theoretical necromancy papers, and he kind of geeks out asking "Sildar" about his research that Barry doesn't actually remember. and Barry is far from the person most screwed over by this happenstance, because when Angus is distracted... well, Aven gets a little stabbed to death, with no witnesses. Angus can't even assign alibis to anyone other than Sildar.
but the strangest part of all, that Angus just can't wrap his mind around? at the moment of the stabbing, every single person at the party — except Angus, Barry, Jeff Angel, and the four suspects Aven had suspicions of — just vanish into thin air without a trace, leaving those seven alone with a body and a whole lot of accusations.
and that is my pitch for my murder mystery, which I have dubbed...
Angus McDonald and the Death of the Party
[plain text: "Angus McDonald and the Death of the Party".]
again, I highly doubt I'll ever finish it, but I do have a little easter egg: I actually reused one of the four suspects (the baron, specifically) as a minor villain in a fic I have written, and will post soon >:)

Okay in your godly parents swap au I'd love to know more about Leo, Its such an interactive concept to put him with Bellona and the fact that people don't think hes roman enough or whatever? But his still really clever and has probably saved people's asses more times than they like to admit? Love that
Also Frank as a son of Hermes is also really interesting would love to hear more about that too
You're asking about my AU? I've waited YEARS for someone to ask me about my au.
(If you get that reference I love you)
We'll start with Leo because I feel like there's more to talk about with him.
Leo is the son of Bellona and is a member of the fifth cohort. He came to Camp Jupiter after the death of his mortal mother when he was eight. His best friends are the two Praetors Piper and Jason. Now he climbed the ranks with Piper to make it to Praetor status. He never really cared about being Praetor but was just there for Piper. During war games Leo would use the traps more as pranks to the other side instead of actually fighting. With that he used a dagger. Not a sword, not a spear, not even a shield, just a measly dagger he had since he was nine. That combined with him being in the fifth cohort and a "wild child" people didn't trust him with important decisions. However, he is his mother's son and is a great strategist. People were so focused on the prank part they didn't notice Piper shadow traveling behind them.
When they finally got close to the position of Praetor they realized that only one of them could be Praetor. Many excepted a battle of some sorts to see who would become the next Praetor. To their shock (?) Leo just kinda dropped out of the running allowing his very ambitious friend to get the job. However, Leo was allowed to become a Centurion instead. During these meetings he was surprisingly serious and had amazing battle strategies and knew a lot about wars.
During the Second Titan War Leo provided a lot of helpful advice to Camp Jupiter. When he was actually on the battle field for real his dagger was probably the most lethal weapon out there. He lived up to being the son of a war goddess. When he was out there he also used those pranks he got so good at using to distract monsters. Sadly many people didn't like this tactic so he got way less credit than he deserved.
When Piper went missing he was offered the role again but he declined AGAIN. Jason was weirdly disappointed by that. He became good friends with the new comers Percy and Hazel. He was able to tell that Hazel was from the past and that there was something about him that threw her off. He went on a quest with Hazel and Nico to Alaska. Only after him coming back did people finally recognize his talents.
Now he is also apart of the Tartarus duo in this AU. He falls in with Piper and the typical Tartarus stuff happens. When he leaves the first person to welcome him back was Jason who hugged him tighter than anyone has before.
Frank's turn :)
Frank Zhang was by no means a troubled kid. He was just a kid from Canada whose mom and grandma died. Sure he picked a couple locks here and there but it was never a lock of importance. Okay maybe one time he stole something from one of the kids at his school but thats just because he stole it from someone else. And sure he rigged the glitter bomb to explode during the pep rally but it wasn't even his idea! They bullied him into doing it, plus it was the school colors so it was on theme. That put him in a school for troubled kids. Eventually he'd been in so many that they called up a distant relative of his in Nevada and sent him there. They put him into the wilderness school where he met Reyna.
Reyna also probably should not have been there but Frank was happy she was. The two became close friends along with Piper. Little did they know all their memories of Piper were fake. Now when he left with Annabeth and Silena to go back to camp he was claimed by Hermes. In this AU the Cabin 9 Curse is the Cabin 11 Curse.
The cabin counselor, Malcolm Pace, explains to Frank that every single on of their pranks have failed since Micheal died. One of these was a fire breathing dragon that has been in the works since before Micheal died. Miranda, the former counselor, was on bed rest from this dragon. Frank doesn't know how to feel about that as his weakness is his very burnable stick. He does the Leo thing and gets the dragon back to running. He gets it not breathe fire but to breathe out glitter.
During his time at camp he never felt more at home. Lacy, Malcolm, Miranda, his other siblings and the unclaimed campers are so welcoming. When he came back from his quest Miranda and Malcolm made him a counselor. The first prank he played on the camp as initiation Lacy helped.
Later on he is a bit wary of Hazel, a daughter of Vulcan and fire user, but they grow and their love story stories.
If anyone has anymore questions about any character feel free to ask! Also I'm not writing this into a fic so feel free to steal my idea-

I don't think I've actually talked about Tern (aka Legion baby OC) before so maybe I should do that. Tern Var is supposed to be the second Coluan Legion representative, sent to train at the academy after Querl starts to indicate that he's leaving and Colu insists that they still want representation. Not all planets do, but they do.
Tern is older than Querl was when he joined, which is still very young by Coluan standards, and they're fiercely pro-ColuGov despite also belonging to a political movement that is trying to make Coluan politics less of a gerontocracy. They despise Querl because of what they perceive as a total lack of loyalty and care for his planet and people. And to some degree because they blame him for their current predicament.
Tern used to be a lab assistant in one of several temporal labs that sprung up on Colu after people started associating Coluans, but only really Querl, with time research. A failure of safety protocols exposed them to a burst of temporal energy that most calculations thought would be lethal, but instead of killing them it imbued them with the ability to move through space but not time for short periods, essentially allowing them to freeze time. The accident also destroyed some of the joints in their left arm, which were replaced with fully integrated prosthetics.
Tern is deeply ashamed of what happened to them. They blame themself for not knowing better or for not preventing it, and a lot of their family and former colleagues, political allies and friends kinda agree. It came as a surprise to them when they were called to serve as Legion representative and while they didn't actually want to do it they saw it as their duty and a way to atone for their previous mistakes. They don't know that ColuGov saw it as a way to remove a political opponent and potential threat.
Tern tries to be mature and serious at all times, but isn't quite as mature as they think they are, in part due to a very sheltered upbringing. They're also rather bossy and a stickler for rules, to their team's dismay. At the academy they've shown themselves to be an excellent hand to hand combatant, though they lack the patience for a large part of the lab work their predecessor used to be tasked with. They speak warmly of Colu, but haven't been back since they left. Their family rarely contacts them.
Tern has a great dislike for languages that use gender to dictate pronouns. Their native language doesn't do it and they think it's crude to make that the most significant part of one's identity.
Tern has short, reddish hair, medium green, cool toned skin and dark green eyes. They have the Var house marking of a diamond shape and two rectangles on their forehead and a rectangle on their chin to indicate that they're on longterm off-world duty.

Was gonna make this another headcanon entry but its more of a whole plot/concept/idea so hear me out- (Rottmnt)
Ok, has anybody else recently been enthralled by the idea of an older Big Mama, possibly decades into the future, finally deciding to step down and retire, and as a 'last order of business' inviting Leo to a private meeting to tell him about this and, oh yeah, she's leaving everything to him with the only conditions being 'stay on top' and 'don't lose my Battle Nexus or Hotel' .
Working in the kinds of business she does, it's not exactly wise to have a legitimate 'next of kin' and Lou Jitsu and the turtles would be the closest thing anyway, so why not leave her businesses in the hands of the one she has the most respect for? The only one who has ever outwit her and is shown to be very good at practically everything he would need to take over for her?
Leo, of course, has his doubts about taking over for a literal mob boss, especially since he still does the whole 'Hero' thing, but a position of power like that could be really useful, and he could bring serious change to the Hidden City, especially with such loose conditions....
And so, Leo accepts and takes over Big Mama's Empire. His first orders of business are obviously to alter certain dealings and processes to make them as legal as possible (not an easy feat when the boss before him, as Leo soon learns, had the police completely under her thumb and never had to care). Leo also changes Battle Nexus policies to make it more ethical, something people hate at first, but he quickly makes up for by using the barely non-lethal nature of the show to incorporate new events/rules and attractions.
And while Leo tries to do as little crime as possible, once he fully adjusts to his new spot, anybody who dares to defy his agreements or take a shot at his throne will certainly pay. Especially since Donnie is his second in command, a position that said brother is frustrated to learn comes with very little power outside of what the Boss grants him (and is essentially a very glorified personal secretary, but they manage to work things out until they're both satisfied). Leo becomes infamous for being able to flip on a dime with anybody and go from friendly and formal to threatening you himself (he is still a ninja first and foremost), and is feared and respected by all, from straight up mafias to ethical, upstanding businesses. After all, while Big Mama's methods were definitely messed up, her reputation proved to be a very useful asset.
and I know I've been kinda dramatic and serious but the idea of Leo still doing his thing being New York's favorite fearless hero with his family on the surface and sometimes in the Hidden City while also being King of an only vaguely criminal Empire is lowkey hilarious (and makes some missions so much easier)

I wonder if different lums turn into different evil lumps when scared. We know red lums turn into black lums when scared. But what happens to a yellow lum for example. Would a Silver lum when scared become something sinister?
It is a very interesting question and also a little difficult to know for sure, since they could be different at the same time and they would not all be the same, perhaps just by changing the eye color, but it seems more interesting to me that they are all different depending on the lum has been corrupted.
Tumblr media
So here's a quick drawing on the idea of different dark lums....
dark red lums: everyone already knows these, Andre is their leader, being the most intelligent and malicious, while the other dark red lums are somewhat stupid and disorganized, without their boss.
dark purple lums: these still have the rings that were characteristic of them in their original form, only that when these rings become corrupted they would become spiked and become lethal weapons, these rings function as an extension of their body and they can control them at will, also They are incredibly resistant, their only way of attacking is with their rings and if they lose them they go crazy, even if they only attack that way, do not underestimate them, because they have great tactics and several ways of attacking with their rings, like the dark red lums. Dark purple lights also have their leader.
Their leader is too proud and likes to be treated like a king, he even wears a crown, which he stole from the leader of the dark yellow lums, he thinks he is the best and they hate not being the center of attention or being corrected, it is too easy to do it get angry and it is too horrible and unbearable, even for Andre and the other dark lums, only his people tolerate him and blindly follow and protect him from everything, this king will always have an entourage of dark purple lums around him, to protect him, because he The king is physically very weak, so much so that he would die from a blow, and he is not very skilled at fighting, not like his people, who are very skilled, even more intelligent.
Andre thinks that the dark purple lums have great potential and are much stronger and more skilled than any other dark lum, In addition to being very copentent, not like their lums, what a shame they blindly follow his very bad king.
dark blue lums: you have much longer fur and it is a very dark blue color, they can create a dense fog to camouflage themselves or confuse their enemies, their leader is very sad and melancholic, in addition to being somewhat weak and very sentimental Normally the other darklums bully him for that reason, although he is a good leader and has good organization and ideas, Andre respects him and considers that after him, the young dark blue lums is very competent in creating evil plans, he considers that The only thing he lacks is character.
the dark blue lums are very serious and unfriendly, the vast majority do not pay attention to their leader, because they do not care what he thinks or does, in fact they do not care at all, they just stay doing nothing, or doing bullying and bothering others, because that makes them happy, in short, they are like edgy teenagers who like to bother others, because it is cool, Andre thinks they are very hem, he doesn't know what to say about them, but he thinks that their leader It's incredible, so he normally invites the leader of the dark blue lums to join him in his plans, being his right hand, meanwhile the dark blue lum admires Andre and obeys and helps him.
dark yellow lums: hem THEY ARE CRAZY, simply that, they always seek to have fun and seek chaos, they simply do not reason and act impulsively, in fact they can spin like small tornadoes of energy and chaos, their leader is also very extravagant, he cares a lot about his people, so he always looks for ways to entertain them, so it is not strange that he does magic tricks or shows for his people, he also loves fun and the bizarre, he will always bother others, with jokes, Andre thinks that the leader of the lums dark yellows, he is very clownish and ridiculous, this darklum, he used to have a crown, but it was stolen, this does not bother him personally.
These blacklums can simply drive you crazy, Andre thinks they are too strange but also very strong, they don't run out of energy very easily, in addition to being very physically strong.
Well, I had a lot of fun doing all this, this is just a random concept that crossed my mind, so it's not very deep, maybe I'll be encouraged to go deeper into this and improve the idea, I hope my idea, you like it anon By the way, sorry if I didn't talk about the silver lums, I just couldn't think of an idea for them, and it would be very strange for them to become corrupted considering that they are created only by the nymphs, in very specific cases, in addition to being handled with great caution, so I think that these lums being corrupted is almost impossible, considering that.

A King's Musings
A warrior king thinks about his peculiar guests and the face of the person who brought them.
Part of the Past/Present/Future Trio! Best to check that out first, especially the comments and reblogs, or else you'll just be super confused.
Damas would admit that Jak will never fail to surprise and worry him. The young man alongside his smaller companion had been gone for two weeks ever since they snuck into the Monk's Temple. It wasn't no lie that a good chunk of his Spargus citizens than just their king were a bit worried.
Jak and Daxter peculiar dynamic helped ease the tension from the serious matters outside the walls. It's hard to not be amused by youths getting into ridiculous but mostly harmless antics. Something that felt needed when the problems at hand aren't the usually ones for his people. These were much larger and dangerous matters that even his unaware citizens can sense.
Then not even an hour into the night did the Spargan King received a message from his most trusted friend, Sig. Jak and Daxter had been found but they weren't alone. Two other boys were with them, one who had a lethal allergic reaction to sunlight. It was enough extra motivation for Damas to come over alongside an escort and get the four youths back to Spargus before sunrise.
The King was about to arrange separate rooms for the other two boys but they all insisted on staying with the "Demolition Duo". It wasn't hard to notice the kindredship between them. One of sworn brothers ready to burn the world to ashes for each other.
"I figured I would find you wandering the halls again." Damas turned away from his thoughts to look at an approaching Sig. Although he couldn't help but raise a brow at the bits of feathers stuck haphazardly on the man's armor. "Old habits die hard my friend. Let me guess, a pillow fight?"
The man playfully rolled his only organic eye at his king's query. "Blue Cherry has one hell of a swing. Knocked the air outta me real good than just make a pillow explode. I can only imagine taking a hit from him as a full grown adult." James Lake Jr or "Jim" being the young man's preference.
A half human/half 'troll' who shared a very similar situation to Jak. Sadly he couldn't change back to what he once was from how it been phrased. The boy could easily be mistaken for being part Lurker if he didn't have that smooth stone hide and horns. Maybe a subspecies?
Jim was sixteen but dwarfed Damas by a foot if you weren't counting the horns. It isn't hard to see what his sworn brother meant as the boy still had some growing to do. They were lucky Kleiver hadn't thrown out his old PJs when he was a teenager. Between the four, Jim is more outspoken and approachable.
"An agreed sentiment as the young man has no doubt seen his fair share of the battlefield if he shares Jak's predicament. Though I bet it was Link who started their little fight." Damas' smile could barely conceal the heartache that stung his soul.
The world of a warrior wasn't a kind one. Every man and woman will face their own unspeakable horrors as war is bound to find them at some point. The eyes that a 10 year child should never be cursed to have. Link was painfully close in personality to his lost son, Mar.
An innocent youth with a knack for getting into mischief and prefers to use sign language than his voice. Sadly Link's innocence had also been robbed in the same way his fellow brothers lost theirs. By men like the Green Eco Sage who believes children should hold the weight of the world on their shoulders.
"Little Cherry is as clever as his aim. He already knew the right trajectory and timing to throw so he could hit my face before I even opened the door. Jak got himself some competition when the boy's old enough to pick up a gun."
Damas snorted at the image of his friend being met with a pillow to the face. There were already some rumors about Link being the King's secret love child amongst his guards. "I'm glad to know they're making themselves comfortable already. Hopefully the boys don't decide to throw another pillow fight in their new room."
"So when you are going to start working on those adoption papers? Just know that you have to do shared custody for Jim cause his mother might beat you with a broom if otherwise." Sig chuckles at the pointed look from Damas.
He knew his sworn brother's fatherly instincts when it came to lost children like the four boys. Damas is family man at heart and he always wanted to give Mar siblings. When his son disappeared, it wasn't hard to notice the sorrow in the man's eyes.
It hurt to find Damas sitting on Mar's bed with his son's favorite Crocadog plush in hand. No updates on the lost boy for over a year just made it worse. There been a few leads but they were muddle before absolute silence once Kor was dead. Although some reports were linked to two particular boys who slowly been healing Damas' heartache.
There was something about the Demolition Duo, especially Jak, that resonated with the King of Spargus. A very familiar bond that neither parties could identify but can definitely feel. Kinda like... Both men hadn't noticed they had stop in front of Jak's room. Unlike 20 minutes ago, it was quite silent.
Damas and Sig looked at each before the latter silently open the door. The room had been overtaken by feathers that once made their home in the pile of torn pillow cases at the farthest corner. Jak and Link's items were closer to the bed especially the youngest peculiar "Fierce Deity" mask which sat on an intact pillow.
It wasn't difficult to find the room's occupants. All four boys were all fast asleep, huddled together in a slightly awkward cuddle pile. Jim was behind everyone as his head rested on Jak's chest alongside Link and arms held the two smaller blondes. The youngest boy nestled himself against the oldest with a firm grip almost if to make sure he won't disappear.
Jak was in the center of the two whilst Daxter laid behind his head, curled up like a feline. A very rare sight to behold as the duo still had issues when it came to sleeping. Haven City hadn't been so kind to their health from the constant mission reports Sig gotten ahold of during his stay.
The heartwarming scene felt very familiar to Damas, too familiar. Soft peaceful expression on Jak's face as his body was held in the safety of his brothers. Just like...
Realization hit Damas harder than a gun handle to the teeth. "Sig, get me every report involving Jak's stay in Haven. I'll be in my private studies as there's something I need to check. The answers we been seeking about Mar's disappearance is much closer than we thought."
Sig quietly headed off while the king look back at the sleeping youth, specifically Jak. The image of a little greenish blonde child surrounded by blankets as he held a plush crocadog to his chest paint the king's mind. "Please let me be right."
The door closed without a sound as darkness gently blanket the room once more.
And that's it. I'm a sucker for Dadmas just like Fierce Dadity so I couldn't resist. Figured I give Jim a break from the madness he's been subjected to on my main blog. Still on a Trollhunters kick so it'll taking longer to get other stuff done.
Life has also been insane as curveballs keep coming. I'm currently working on the next chapter for Of Bug Cults and Living Stone while proofreading my older works. Until next time folks, I'll see you back at the crossroads between Spargus, Arcadia and Hyrule!

LARGEST of thank yous @waterloverextreme for asking to hear my thoughts. This is all about characters of course but I don’t feel like putting the C! before every name-
SO! *clapping hands together* Now a pretty lengthy explanation of Sam being classic dragon coded: First off there are two main portrayals of European style dragons: Benevolent & Malevolent, Sam in fact fits both.
Starting with the benevolent, ‘good’ aligned dragons are creatures who grant protection and often wisdom - Sam originally upon joining the server often went somewhat out of his way to help people, namely Tommy much to Tommy’s dislike, and it is noted that his immense building and redstone knowledge in general made him the kind of guy people would get to help them. Sam also keeps his offer to Tommy to protect or help him if he ever needs it throughout the server events, making Sam Nook and all that.
Though this changes, drastically, with the construction of the prison and Sam’s role as the warden - turning from the benevolent to malevolent interpretation. This take on dragons is the og classic fantasy style portrayal, a giant beast of fire and wrath known for their cavernous lairs, obsessive nature towards their hoards and their lethal ire. This is the warden. The warden is the dragon that guards the vault, a prison of blackstone and lava, traps and tricks, rare valuables built into it’s very foundation with netherite blocks. Sam as the warden is more serious, the kind nature gone almost entirely shoved away by sense of duty to protect- for the greater good, he knows everyone that enters, everyone that leaves, and if anything is ever amiss or stolen from his lair. His anger flares more so as the warden, he leaves nothing to chance and threats are to be dealt with. violently. While yes there are other guards of the vault but the warden never truly leaves, after all a dragon never leaves what it guards for long. Adorned in neigh impenetrable armor and armed with lethal weapons, his appearance does only aid the comparison considering dragon scales are said to be stronger than any metal and their teeth and claws sharper and more lethal than any weapon of man. Oh yeah and the whole hostage situation thing with Ranboo and Michael, kidnaping is another signature. Also it’s not uncommon in folktales for dragons to have been employed or utilized to guard something and ultimately being slain for it, which works with cannon and a personal idea of mine but I will save my tie in rant for a technical au scene/dragon slayer Punz for another day.
With how I see it, he is a benevolent dragon turned malevolent through drastic measures and his own need to protect- no matter the cost. The vault brings out a side of him that is far more brutal and cold- reptilian even- than his true nature.
Along with this, his technical immortality falls in line as well, while Sam’s is through body swapping it is still immortality- much like how most dragons are portrayed as almost ageless beasts that only become more powerful as they live. Considering my headcanons Sam follows that as well- every body being a better improvement from the last. Golden armor being apart of his base design usually, gold being eternally connected to dragons.
Both his deaths as well fall in line with methods from dragon slaying legends - struck through the eye [one of the few universal weakpoints on a dragon] and generally collapsing to numerous wounds after, left to die if you will.
Now falling into personal headcanon territory: Within my own take on them Creepers are an apex predator species that has in the modern era split off into numerous sub-species to adapt to the various biomes BUT they do have a common ancestor within the histories. Referred to as The Draken Spawn this ancient ‘origin’ beast was said to be a creature of fire and destruction, a spawn of dragons left to the world since it could not fly. With my personal design for Sam, his current body for the events of the dsmp is a genetically modified “hybrid” of numerous creeper variants: a botched Draken Spawn effectively. That’s more just design symbolism though.
There’s probably more notes I can’t remember at the moment but yeah, the creeper man is dragon coded and I swear one day I’m gonna make a cool comic thing with this concept.

— character info sheet.
(repost, don’t reblog)
name: Rind
name meaning: She's more or less named after the rind of a fruit
alias/es: Rin/Rinrin, The Shapeshifter, Anklebiter
ethnicity: Eevee
one picture you like best of your chara: I give Rind a lot of love when I draw her! Here are a few of my personal faves that I've done
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
two h/cs you never told anyone
Rind's favorite gemstones are diamonds, opals, and pearls. She finds herself particularly drawn to the way light and colors tend to manifest and shine in these jewels, especially some lab created white diamonds. By contrast, she finds black diamonds to be terribly dull and are not her first choice of target.
In verses where she cannot evolve and devolve freely, Rind's top choices of evolution are Umbreon, Jolteon, and Leafeon. She likes to consider how an evolution could benefit her career as a jewel thief and feels these three would make the best thieves. At the bottom rung of her consideration is Sylveon, because its white pelt stands out in the dark and she isn't fond of the twirly ribbons and lovey-dovey aspect of that evolution (Guess which one she ends up evolving into)
three things your character likes doing in their free time:
Count the jewels! If you had a massive haul of gems and jewelry stashed away in your home, wouldn't you stop to admire them every so often? Rind could spend hours counting, polishing, and gazing into her stash!
Annoy the acquaintances. Rind loves plastering herself to people she perceives as overly serious and self-important and finding all the ways she can ruffle their feathers. Silly nicknames, affectionate teasing and handing out deliberately bad advice in hopes they'd be gullible enough to follow it are some of her favorite tactics. In short, Rind is a littol troll ;3c
Raiding trash. It may seem a lowly and filthy way to find food (... and it is) but Rind is consistently surprised to find what humans will throw away. Dumpsters and trashcans near restaurants and supermarkets are her favorite places to root through.
seven people your character likes / loves: Being a lowly varmint with a penchant for thievery and lying, Rind doesn't exactly make many friends
Squirrel (Rind's mother. Despite having a rocky relationship in most verses, they both still care about each other. There's a mother daughter bond in there somewhere...)
Twig and Leaf (Her brothers are the only other family she has besides their mother. They've both led very different lives than her's, but they're still siblings no matter what!
two things your character regrets:
Actually hurting anyone. Rind may be a bit of a bully and has a habit of pushing others around, but she never wants to really hurt anyone. Most of her tough talk is all fluff, she doesn't fight unless she has no choice and will always use non lethal force when necessary. Those few times things got out of hand stay in her head as a reminder to not go too far and to not make any real "friends."
Not trying to leave her family amicably. The last she saw them, Rind got into a fight with her mother and left for the city in a huff. Though she still loves Squirrel and would like to see her after so many years apart, she is both convinced her own mother dislikes her and she wouldn't even know what to say in the first place.
two phobia your character has:
Trains. After a few too many close encounters with them in underground subway stations, Rind is very wary of trains and is mindful of how much a moving train can absolutely destroy anything it hits. If something falls into the tracks, its as good as gone as far as Rind is concerned.
Falling from a great height. Rind doesn't have much to save herself if she fell from too high up. Perhaps, if she is prepared, her Sylveon form could grab onto something with her feelers, or she could safely dive into water below as a Vaporeon. But the risk of being splatted on the pavement keeps her away from high rises and rooftops.

Having more Technoroid thoughts because I realized something about Nobel. (Spoilers for Technoroid anime)
Idk if this is discussed at all in Unison Heart but... Nobel can lie?
It’s established in like, the first episode in the anime that androids are incapable of lying to humans (it’s subtitled as both “shouldn’t” and “can’t” at different points, iirc, so I don’t know if it’s a direct prohibition or just a very strong aversion). However, Nobel spends the first couple episodes doing exactly that. He lies consistently about his identity until KNOCC come under direct threat from the police. Not just to the main four androids but also to Esola, a human. (As an aside: can androids lie to each other but just not to humans? Or can they not tell falsehoods at all?)
It’s possible this is some fey-like technicality where he’s close enough to each persona he claims to be for it to not technically be a lie, but that feels a bit unlikely. Then again, I wouldn’t put it past him to have some suite of “aptitude” patches to let him bounce between jobs more easily, and applying a patch puts him out of the territory of total falsehood when talking about himself.
But I’m pretty sure the answer is just that Prof. Shibaura was breaking rules all over the place and created Nobel as a unique aide meant to pass as human - including being able to lie, at least enough to protect himself or make his goals easier to attain.
So here’s another thought/question for people who know: does Nobel have interlock restrictions? Most consumer androids have a mechanism that keeps them from physically harming humans (thus abiding by the Laws of Robotics), but Nobel could be an exception. He seems capable of using weapon-adjacent equipment (some pretty serious looking smoke-bombs) so who knows.
As an extension of that; do law-enforcement androids have looser interlock restrictions? Could Bora theoretically take a swing at a human and not lock up for trying? Could he exert harmful force in self-defense? Or are law-enforcement androids primarily dispatched to deal with robotic perps or situations where force should not be necessary (eg. patrols), so their restrictions are as normal? Synth-on-synth violence doesn’t violate any laws, clearly, though use of “lethal” force still requires authorization. Even so, could a law-enforcement android be issued a “shoot” order against a human target? That could be a loophole in the Laws of Robotics; presumably the order comes from a human, so it could be argued the android themself isn’t responsible but more of a tool in the encounter. Plus we know direct intervention/hacking is a possible way to get robots to harm humans.
