🌑Creepypastas Personalities and things they do in my eyes🌑

🫀 Eyeless Jack is very stoic, not showing much emotion ever. If he has to, for example if he helps to calm down Sally he’ll show concern. But outside of the mansion he never shows emotion. He’s kind when he wants to be, and isn’t completely heartless. If a pasta that he particularly likes is sick than he’ll go out of his way to check on them and grabbing something they need and once his sees that they’re okay he’s gone. If one of the proxies gets hurt in the field? He’s actually throwing a fit that they should be more careful. He’s one of those types of people where he gets mad when someone’s hurt because he couldn’t stop them from it, but he’ll never admit it.

🌲 Slenderman I see as a father figure for everyone. He’s is like a single dad. With the help of two out of his 3 brothers (offenderman is seen as a disgrace to his family’s name and unfit to be around children, especially Sally) He lets the kids (the grown adults that most of them are) rant if they want and tries to have fun with them. He understands that almost all of them didn’t have good childhoods and he feels bad. That’s why he keeps taking them in, having them promise to work for him. Once they say yes, he takes them in and the mansion grows another room (or tombs as I like to call them) 🎮 Ben is pretty nice. Sure, he’s snarky sometimes but he’s a kid. What do you expect? Plus he stays in his room most of the time or he’s hanging out with Jeff. He sees some of the other proxies as his siblings, but he’ll never admit it. Never in a billion years. He’d rather go swimming. Slender does have to trick him into showering because of how scared of water he is. Don’t ask me how bc I dunno. Personally, I would just spray him with a hose. But I digress

🧸 Sally is the average little girl, but she gets angry easily. I’m not sure where people got the notion that she wouldn’t be an angry restless spirit but that’s their opinion and it’s valid too. I feel like she’s usually nice and kind like everyone says but if she sees offenderman or anyone she deems a threat she can and will throw one of her “fits” where she makes the house rumble and she throws things towards the threat. She’s done it because she saw a spider. 🔪 Jeff is an ass. Period. But he does see the creepypastas as some sort of family. He’ll never admit it either. He makes fun of everyone because that’s how he shows affection. The only person who recognizes that is liu, his brother, who says nothing. Slender tries his best to just leave the kid alone, if he’s behind honest he’s kinda worried about him, but he says nothing. Jeff also is really smart he just never uses his brain so no one knows that.

🐍 liu is shy and quiet. Doesn’t really like talking to many of the proxies so he just keeps to himself. He only ever talks to slenderman and masky really. Sometimes he’ll have a chat with his brother, but he and his brother don’t have a very good relationship. He’s very cuddly when he wants to be and only when he wants to be. He loves a good book. Usually true crime books or something with a good plot. He doesn’t like romance novels because it reminds him too much of who he lost. He tries to be as optimistic as possible, but sometimes it’s hard for him.

🍬 LJ is giddy and goofy, always cracking weird jokes. He has learned over time what everyone’s sense of humor is so he’ll make jokes based off of that. Have dark humor? Dark jokes. Have dad humor? He’ll crack a good dad joke. Deep down he likes making people laugh still, he just doesn’t wanna be laughed at. He’s the one who hangs out with Sally the most when slenderman isn’t around because 1. He has the same childlike wonder and 2. Slenderman thinks he’s funny enough to keep that little ball of energy occupied long enough to not run off into the woods and find some poor hiker and scare the soul outta them.

🪓 Toby is kinda a mix of quiet and a fuck. He likes being nice to some people when he wants and then he’ll be a dick to others. I have a headcanon that he has BPD so that’s why he constantly switches between being nice and acting like you murdered his cat in cold blood. Usually he’s pretty nice and knows how to control it most of the time but it gets the better of him. He is also very good friends with Ben and Jeff, being nicer to Ben and meaner to Jeff. I don’t think he’d hang out with Masky and hoodie too often, but that’s just my opinion.

🚬 Masky’s just plain “I don’t want to talk to you leave me alone.” Never has liked talking never will like it. He has exceptions for certain people like Hoodie and Slenderman. Sometimes he’ll talk to liu because he’s actually one of the more chill proxies and leaves people alone unless they want to talk to him. You could also probably find him smoking outside or sitting outside Slenderman’s office because he feels important when he’s near him. 🍁 Hoodie is the opposite of Masky. Wanna talk? He’s so down. Loves talking about everything and anything. If there’s a mission, though? He stays quiet. Doesn’t talk. He’s laser focused. it’s like he has 2 different personalities.

⚕️ nurse Ann seems like the type that likes taking care of people. She is a nurse after all. She just doesn’t like men very much, considering what happened to her. She trusts most of the proxy boys not to do anything, but if they do then she doesn’t let them near her again. She gives off lesbian vibes and I kinda headcanon that she is dating or best friends with Jane. After missions she’ll patch up the people that need it and I think she’d have her own little infirmary tucked in the corner of the mansion with everything she could possibly need.

🖤 Nina is the perfect example of an extrovert. She’s so hyped up and excited that she gives Sally a run for her money. Contrary to popular belief I think she’d be pretty good friends with Jane. They both got their heart broken by Jeff but Nina continues to try and get him to love her. She likes baking and playing games with all the proxies. Sure she’s seen as annoying but she’s really one of the only extroverted people in the manor.

🕷️ Jane is quiet and kind. She likes to help where she can. I see her as religious to some extent? Not a woman of god per say but a different religion. I feel like she would be pagan and have an altar of some sort to some kind of deity. She is usually in the library reading some sort of book or bringing a book from there to the infirmary to read to Ann.

omg this is serious loree. so ive been reading ff for a good few years and so do two of my irl friends (the only ppl who know i read ff in this day and age irl) and we were all in the harry potter fandom. then we were like, we should make our own JOKE fanfic, and we're were like planning it all out for fun w y/n and shit and then we actually wrote it😭 it has four chapters and it's on wattpad but it's the most insane cliché shit and probably the funniest thing I've ever done LMFAOO

and then months and months after that i tried to do my own little things but they were all terrible. but then jan 2023 i started like seriously writing. the first proper fic (multichap) i tried to do kinda crashed and burned and the other ones never made it past a few thousand words. the writing was good i just dk how to make a story😭 anyway then in september i wrote a full hp one shot even though im not in the fandom anymore?? tried to reform my multichap and wrote a few more chapters then was like wait, this still isn't working (for plot reasons).

writing is hard but rn im working on a clyde biography which is easy enough bc it's it's basically just all my head cannons❤️

basically there was an era where i was like oh i should probably get socials so i made an ao3, twitter, discord etc and i just picked two random words for each. for ao3 my first username was savage toes but i forgot abt it so i made a new acc

i picked mardytoast bc my friend, who knows i read ff has a cat called melba, and she was talking to me one time and she was like oh it's melba as in melba toast and i was like oh okayy

so when i was making my user i used that but obviously im not stealing her cats name so i chose some other word that started with m

and im actually not joking i literally created the word mardy scholars would say i COINED the phrase. like i remember i was just like okay mardy i guess. AND IN FEBRUARY I FIND OUT MARDY MEANS ANGRY GRUMPY MOODY?? like explains that arctic monkeys song but damn. so if anyone's wondering I DO NOT CLAIM THAT im just mardy with no meaning

and in september (?) i created this acc bc this writer i was going to beta read for wanted to be able to contact me outside of email so i really quickly made this and just used my ao3 username!

omg and whenever she sends me the doc with the chapter she titles it 'Mardy's Copy' and the first time I saw it i had this out of body feeling and i was like WOAH...i guess im mardy now

👪 FAMILY - what is their family like? what is your ocs relationship to them? does your oc have any siblings?

Velvet & Veneer ;; Doing these two together since they're twins w/ the same family of course. Velvet I believe does not like her parents while Veneer does. I feel like there's a good chance they were either given too much attention or not enough attention. It's hard to say actually. It's mentioned in the movie that their parents were dentists and while most doctors are usually on call/quite busy and I could see them not having a lot of time to spend with their kids, I don't think the same could be said about dentists { I could be wrong }. There IS the possibility that they also got spoiled by their parents, considering in the one 'flashback' we get of them, there's quite a few sweets on the table. { Kinda odd for a couple of dentists since most seem to be against anything sugary-- }. 

As for Velvet and Veneer's relationship w/ each other, Velvet has some love for her brother like I've said before, but at the same time she's not above manipulating him. Veneer on the other hand outright states that he loves his sister and doesn't want to go against her. Whether this is because he loves her or he's afraid of her is hard to tell. It could be a mix of both.

Nimue ;; She gets along with her mother quite well actually! Considering that's the only part of the family who actually cares for her { Well, was, until her brother came along as she got older. The one she didn't even know about because he's technically her half brother so when his father split from her mother, he took his son with him. } Ratih and her father on the other hand do not like her at all. Her father believes she's a cursed child { And actually didn't want another child to begin with } and Ratih hates that their mother basically took all the love away from her. { Unfortunately when Nimue was born, their mother did focus on her more often than not } So because of this, Ratih actually hates Nimue for this.

Negaduck ;; Currently I have no familial headcanons for him just yet, mostly because we don't even get as much of a hint even for Drake's family so it's hard to work off anything with him. However, I DO NOT headcanon his parents as abusive, and I never will. I actually despise that headcanon with every fiber of my being.

💤 SLEEPING - do they fall asleep easily? what helps them sleep?

Velvet ;; Oh she can fall asleep quite easily. More often than not she does wear that eye mask people have sometimes to help but she doesn't really need it. Even during the whole Troll fiasco, she slept like a baby without a care in the world.

Veneer ;; He on the other hand struggles sometimes to sleep if he's got worry on the mind. Or if he feels like something he's done is wrong. I can see him listening to white noise or more calming sounds { Like those ocean waves or raining sounds people play to relax } in order to get himself to settle and fall asleep. 

Nimue ;; She does not, she has nightmares on a regular basis so she keeps herself awake on purpose and focuses on her work or whatever she can until her body finally shuts down. There is no helping her sleep. The only exception is if she's curled up with someone she trusts quite a bit that she actually feels safe with them.

Negaduck ;; Pretty sure he can fall asleep easily, but I also imagine he's a light sleeper and constantly has his guard up.

🎂 BIRTHDAY CAKE - when is their birthday? do they like celebrating it?

Velvet & Veneer ;; I'd say May 25th maybe? { Purposely slaps it under a gemini zodiac on purpose bc twins }. Velvet probably doesn't care enough while Veneer's probably all for celebrating, which means Velvet usually gets dragged into celebrating anyways.

Nimue ;; October 31st; Yes, she's a Halloween baby. But she actually prefers to celebrate Halloween over her birthday and hasn't actively told anyone when her birthday is unless the subject comes up or someone asks. There have been cases where people have known her for years and she hadn't told them.

Negaduck ;; I'd say... August 1st. { Slamdunking him under the Leo Zodiac heck you }, and absolutely not.

🌺 HIBISCUS - do they have any allergies?

Kinda sort of skipping this one bc honestly I don't think any of them would have allergies? Aside from the standard like, if pollens too high it makes them sneeze a lot or something.

🌱 SEEDLING - what is their most vivid memory from childhood?

Also sort of skipping this one because ?? This is a bit more difficult for me to answer. Velvet sees a different perspective on things while Veneer sees the truth { gestures to the fact that Velvet thought they were basically nobodies who were poor and helpless while Veneer states they quite literally lived in the suburbs and basically had a good life. } As for Nimue her childhood memories often blur together and she likes to forget them for very obvious reasons. As for Negaduck, he chooses to toss the fact he even had a childhood away and has forgotten his actual civilian identity and life. 

🌌 MILKY WAY - what was the inspiration behind your oc? what was the first thing you decided about them?

Nimue ;; Answering this one rq in the middle of all the others bc it was the next one on the post list. But uh... there wasn't actually much inspiration behind Nimue funnily enough. I've mentioned this before I think but Nimue actually started off as a throwaway villain character that eventually was kept and shaped to what she is now. I decided that while I didn't want her to be evil, I wanted her to be morally grey so that she could go down either path depending on who influenced her. It left more options open for writing, and while I haven't gotten to write her going down a worse path and only usually good ones, I do hope that maybe changes sometime in the future.

📖 OPEN BOOK - do they like reading? what's their favourite genre?

Velvet & Veneer ;; I'd wager these two do not care for reading, while Veneer might be more likely to read, it's probably very seldom. Not too sure what his favorite genre would be just yet though....

Nimue ;; She does enjoy reading and it can vary depending on her mood. Like when it comes to movies, her go to's are usually horror, mystery, or sometimes romance { gasp }. Also she may or may not read manga from time to time-

Negaduck ;; No. But he'll read newspapers if he has to.

🎁 PRESENT - what types of presents would they be most happy to receive? are they good at gift giving?

Velvet ;; Hm... She's a little hard to say for this one, mostly because she'd be quick to turn her head away from anything if it's not 'good enough'. She also doesn't feel the need to recieve presents because she can just buy whatever the hell she wants. And no, she's terrible at gift giving, she'd most likely get someone something she likes and thinks they'll like because she likes it. Of course this could change if she actually gets to know the person but otherwise, don't expect her to try.

Veneer ;; I feel like he'd be happy to recieve anything, even if he could just buy it himself. Though he'd be a little difficult about it and try to play it off that he's not actually happy about it, he'll eventually give in and actually show otherwise. As for gift giving, I'd think he pay a little more attention to what the person likes compared to his sister and actually get them something they want.

Nimue ;; She literally does not care. Any and all gifts are important to her. As for giving, she struggles quite a bit and often resorts to hand making more practical gifts.

Negaduck ;; He does not care, nor does he really accept gifts most of the time? He rarely gets them for others either, unless it's his Gosalyn.

🍼 BABY BOTTLE - what are their thoughts on children?

Velvet & Veneer ;; Aside from thinking they're both too young to have children, Velvet actually dislikes most kids and often thinks they are brats while Veneer is more likely to be a little nicer to them. 

Nimue ;; It's probably obvious, but Nimue does like children and eventually wants one of her own one day. 

Negaduck ;; He's iffy about kids in general but of course he has Gosalyn and he doesn't outright hate them. He'd also never actively hurt one despite how 'rotten' he says he can be.

🔪 KNIFE - how do they react to injury / misfortune befalling their loved ones (significant other, family, friends)? do they put themselves at blame?

Velvet & Veneer ;; I don't care what you say, these two would stick their necks out for each other if it came down to one or the other getting severely hurt. Which is one of the reasons I hate the abusive Velvet hc so much. Velvet would never let any harm actually come to Veneer if she could help it, and I feel like Veneer would be quick to be by her side if anything happened. Of course if anyone actually became close to either of the twins, this would also be true for them too. 

Nimue ;; Is VERY likely to instantly choose violence the moment ANYONE important to her got hurt. She doesn't tolerate it one bit. She's not a violent person, but by god you're in for hell if you actually hurt someone important to her.

Negaduck ;; It's Negaduck, he's gonna commit murder on whoever did it.

🎵 MUSIC NOTE - what is their playlist like? their favourite artists? do you associate a particular song with them?

Velvet & Veneer ;; Pretty sure they'd have like... a playlist of 80's and 90's songs { side-eyes their cover of Sweet Dreams }. I don't know if they'd have a favorite artist though, just an in general enjoyment for the 80's and 90's. Though I do think they might listen to some other genre's here and there / find inspiration from other genres.

Nimue ;; Her playlist is absolutely mixed, between kpop, rock, pop, and a bunch of others. Being a singer herself, she also finds inspiration by listening to other musicians and genres { Fun fact; In her Trolls verse she was actually big fans of Velvet and Veneer until the truth came out. Despite what they've done however, she thinks they have potentinal to come back out on top if they just practice }

Negaduck ;; I... don't know actually? He doesn't really strike me as the type to listen to music.

🎤 MICROPHONE - are they good at singing? what is their go-to karaoke song?

Negaduck ;; He probably can, since it's shown that Darkwing/Drake can. But he does not. He refuses to actually.

🎷 SAXOPHONE - do they play any instruments? are they any good at it?

Velvet & Veneer ;; I do not believe they play any instruments, this can change down the road depending on what I do with them but as of right now they do not.

Nimue ;; She learned how to play piano a bit thanks to her mother and she is good at it, she just hasn't in awhile since she hasn't needed to for any reason.

Negaduck ;; Absolutely not, he'd rather be dead than be caught playing an instrument.

🎀 RIBBON - how would they fit into other worlds / aus? what aus would you like to try out? what fictional world would they fit / not fit into?

Velvet & Veneer ;; I find them rather easy actually, any way I look at it, they'll always somehow end up being singers. Most cases however it'll be that they're often rude/can't keep an assistant which is why they struggle to stay on top, because nobody wants to deal with them. { Usually Velvet though }. I haven't thought of any that they wouldn't fit into yet but I'm sure I'll run into something eventually.

Nimue ;; I specifically have a way to set her into different universes so I've yet to find one I couldn't just yet. I will say the one I struggle with the most though is her Sonic AU which it's hard for me to decide if she stays as a human or becomes Mobian. For the most part I do have her staying as a human though.

Negaduck ;; He's... a little more on the difficult side of shoving into AU's, if only because he'd just... become a villain right off the back, but also considering he's basically just Darkwing's opposite it's a little more difficult in my opinion.

❄️ SNOWFLAKE - do people consider them cold? if so, what made them this way?

Velvet & Veneer ;; Those who work with them do. Mostly because Velvet's just notoriously heartless { or she seems like it } and Veneer often follows in his sister's footsteps. For Velvet, it's all about keeping an image, and she'll do whatever it takes to keep that image.

Nimue ;; A little? But not completely. At first Nimue's mostly considered indifferent / uninterested which leads to people often avoiding her, but she does open up when approached. Albeit slowly due to trust issues.

Negaduck ;; He's viewed as more violent than cold, I think people are honestly just afraid of him because he's considered 'hot blooded'.

🌟 GLOWING STAR - what do they think about when they look at the night sky? is there someone they want to star gaze with?

Velvet & Veneer ;; Hm. This one's a little hard because I don't think either twin actually does look at the night sky. They're usually preoccupied with something or the lights in Mount Rageous are too bright to actually stargaze. It's like a fully lit city 24/7 so there's probably no decent view of the sky.

Nimue ;; It depends on what she's thinking about for the day, sometimes it's just looking back on the day in general other times she just wants to relax. More often than not she'd rather stargaze with a close friend or significant other if she can.

Negaduck ;; Does not think of anything nor does he spend his time stargazing. 

💓 BEATING HEART - what gets their heart racing?

Velvet & Veneer ;; Hrm... another hard one. I don't think these two ever really had anything get their heart really racing? Maybe Veneer did when they finally got cornered and he might've gotten spooked from it all / had to confess but other than that they seem really calm/collected when on stage. Also I... do not see either of them having had a previous love interest just yet so for them it hasn't really?? Happened.

Nimue ;; Anytime she gets caught in situations where she gets overly flustered or just overwhelmed in general. More often than not, being cornered is just enough. On the more negative side, being stuck in a crowd of people with no way out.

Negaduck ;; I don't really know about this either for him ?? I swear to god this man takes everything in stride.

💘 HEART W/ ARROW - what traits do they look for in a relationship? do they believe in love at first sight?

Velvet ;; She doesn't know yet actually, she's more focused on rising to the top than she does focusing on a relationship or trying to find one. She does not believe in love at first sight either, thinks it's a cliche honestly.

Veneer ;; While like his sister, he's focused on rising to the top, he actually knows that he wants someone who will treat him well, that and someone who will be patient with him due to the fact his sister will probably be pushy about who he's with because of the whole 'only wants the best for him' thing. And if she doesn't think someone's suited for Veneer, she'll tell him. He also doesn't really believe in first sight, but he does know that attraction at first sight is a thing.

Nimue ;; While she doesn't actively go looking for relationships, Nimue does have a preference for people who have grown close to her. She only prefers that she's at least treated decently but also requires to have a long standing friendship with her. { Of course with some cases if she really gets along with the person, she may consider otherwise }. She does not believe in love at first sight, and thinks it's just something people use to ' get into other people's pants ' so to speak.

Negaduck ;; He doesn't really ? Look for anything at all. If he likes you, you'll know. And of course he doesn't believe in love at first sight, he's a pain in the ass about it in general.

💗 GROWING HEART - if they have a crush, is it noticable? what changes when they're in love?

Velvet ;; Kind of? She'll start to be a little nicer to the person in question, but that's probably the only hint you'll really get. That and she's more likely to actually spend time with the person.

Veneer ;; Oh absolutely, he's a little touchy and is likely to hold onto an arm/hand/have his arm around their shoulder as he gradually becomes more 'friendly' towards the other. He's also likely to just, show up with random gifts depending on if he finds something the person likes. 

Nimue ;; No actually, then again it depends on how long the crush is going on for. The longer she doesn't say anything, the more obvious it slowly becomes. Mostly because she wants to say something but forces herself not to. Eventually it'll become really painfully obvious as she'd accidentally drop hints here and there that she likes someone.

Negaduck ;; He doesn't show it and refuses to show it. He'll only show a 'softer' side if he knows the person in question feels the same way or has broken down any walls he has up, but even then it's rather difficult.

❤️ RED HEART - their love language(s)?

Velvet & Veneer ;; I'd say gift giving for both of them? Though Veneer strikes me as the type to also show some affection.

Nimue ;; Affection, hands down. 

Negaduck ;; Genuinely? I do not know. It probably varies on his mood.

💙 BLUE HEART - do they miss their s/o easily? how do they act when their s/o isn't around?

Velvet & Veneer ;; Due to their line of work, I don't think they would. I think they'd be use to the times they're seperated honestly and still remain the same. 

Nimue ;; Sometimes, but it's nothing she can't handle. It helps that she's sort of used to being alone so it's just a matter of continuing to do what she does until they come back.

Negaduck ;; No probably not, unless he knows they're never coming back then he'll probably go into his own type of grieving { violence }

💚 GREEN HEART - what things make your oc feel comforted? hugs, kisses, food?

Velvet & Veneer ;; Can't really say too much on them just yet honestly. I'd wager maybe Veneer probably has a preference to be comforted by hugs himself maybe but doesn't show it / is used to Velvet giving him 'words of comfort'? Otherwise I'm not sure.

Nimue ;; Is all of the above the right answer? Because it's all of the above.

Negaduck ;; ...It's food. Though it's very seldom he actually needs to be comforted.

💖 SPARKLING HEART - are they a subtle or a showy lover?

Velvet & Veneer ;; Oh god showy absolutely, after all I'm pretty sure they'd want people to know that their s.o belongs to them and them only. They don't want people getting the wrong idea and thinking that someone can just come along and take their s.o

Nimue ;; Subtle, she prefers to keep things quiet for the most part though she doesn't mind if her partner's more showy than she is.

Negaduck ;; Subtle, unless he has a reason to be showy.

💌 LOVE LETTER - do they like love letters? what kind of messages do they leave for their partner?

even though he doesn't really give a shit about clothes or fashion, i feel like ghoul has one of the most cohesive and consistent styles out of any of the killjoys. it's mostly because he doesn't own that many different clothes, so the ones he does own all tend to follow a similar pattern. they have have the same general color scheme, blacks, yellows, and varying shades of green, so pretty much any outfit he wears (as long as its just his own clothes he's wearing) looks good and a lot more put together than someone like jet star, lets say, who just wears combinations of literally anything he likes regardless of weather or not it really "goes together". again, its not like a conscious effort he makes to have his clothes match, he just has a few favorite colors and doesnt care enough to get clothes outside of that

🪢 A headcanon about their family

he's a sandpup, and his parents were ghosted when he was far too young to remember them. he does remember this teenaged joy, though, who took care of him for the first few years of his life, before they were ghosted too and he was picked up the the next crew (a cycle that would continue for years until he decided to go it alone and ran into the rest of the four). he was still really young when he was with that first joy, so he only has really faint flashes of memories with them, and he doesn't even remember their name, but he still writes letters to "the first joy that raised me" from time to time in hopes the witch knows who he's talking about.

as far as he's aware, he's always been an only child, but his older sibling doesn't mind that he's forgotten; they still enjoy his letters all the same

💄 An appearance headcanon

he does NOT wash his hair like. at all. obviously showers and bathing are hard to come by in the zones, but everyone else in his crew makes a point to try and do it as often as possible (party and kobra bc they're used to it from the city, jet bc he likes his hair to *not* be a horrible dry and tangled mess). but ghoul grew up never learning or caring about personal hygiene like AT ALL so this gross motherfucker only bathes when people start complaining abt his smell, and even then he just doesnt wash his fucking hair bc he doesnt see the point! so he's got this shoulder length, stringy, greasy black mop of his head, and it drives jet crazy and that definitely contributes to him not washing it even more

👽 A headcanon about a weird quirk of theirs

he needs *very* specific conditions when he's trying to work with electronics or machines. it doesnt really matter so much if hes just mindlessly tinkering with parts and shit, but when he's actively trying to fix something or build something, he needs it to be quiet, but NOT silent. silent means he cant focus, but too much noise, like too many conversations going on at once or loud music playing or something, means he can't focus either! he also cant have ANYTHING touching his face while he's working, or it pisses him off and entirely ruins his concentration. he doesnt wear any sort of mask when working, and has to keep his hair tied back bc if so much as a strand touches his face he will absolutely lose it and he'll have to stop whatever hes working on immediately to fix it

FUCKING. ANIMAL. snakes in particular, tho, he fucking loves and will just. pick up! regardless of whether or not he knows they're venomous! he'll be all "guys look what i found :D friend!" and then he hold up a fucking rattlesnake or some shit and everyone freaks out on him but in his thought process is always "if it turns on me i can take it im a badass its fine"

he prefers to fight with his fists, and while he's not terrible with a raygun, his fighting style with it typically revolves around him only shooting to disarm his opponent in some way, thereby forcing them into a physical fight which he knows he can win. he's fast as hell, is great at predicting his opponent's next moves based off their body language, and he knows exactly when to strike and where to strike to make it hurt the most. and this part's kind of fucked up but i think he really fucking likes breaking ppls bones, actually, so he tends to do that like. A LOT when he gets into fights bc he knows it fucking HURTS and it'll take whoever he's fighting out of commission for a WHILE

KOBRA AND GHOUL ARE THE BEST FUCKING FRIENDS EVER no matter what version of my canon im thinking abt they are always bffs in a way that almost reminds me of like, stereotypical tween girls from 90's movies? but a bit more destructive. like YES they will have sleepovers in each others rooms and YES they will make blanket forts and shit and be all "you can't come in if you dont know the secret password" to party and jet, and kobra likes to braid ghoul's hair bc he used to do it with his own back in the city when it was longer and he finds it fun, and ghoul will build dumb little explosives for kobra that really only just make noise so kobra can prank ppl around the diner with them, and they set shit on fire together A LOT like. a disturbing amount. and they always go to each other first when they need help on projects and they are BEST! okay, so, i feel like more than anything, kobra's love language centers around feelings understood. bc like, he he absolutely loves cuddling and showing physical affection with his close friends/family, but there are some days where anyone or anything touching him makes him feel like he wants to Die and so, what means a lot more to him than people willing to touch him are people who know him well enough to sense when he doesn't want to be touched, and who dont press him or ask questions about why he's feeling that way. its the same thing for when he goes nonverbal and cant talk to ppl. he never feels more loved than when someone can tell that he's having one of those days and they dont press him or try and force him to communicate anyways, and it makes him feel on cloud fucking nine when people know he's nonverbal and they chose to be around him anyways! like when ppl just come and sit by him as he works, not saying anything or trying to get him to talk; idk he just loved knowing that ppl still want to be around him and still enjoy his company even when he can't converse with them

The two Alices, Oz and Gil: they are my babies now I adopted them, already signed adoption papers and all 💪 (once again, a surprise bc I hardly ever care about the main characters but these four are just... made-to-be-loved how dare anyone hurt them?!?!? *looking at a Certain Someone 🔪🔪* I just wish we saw more of Alyss and her thoughts, likes, dislikes etc. before the end. Since Cheshire loved her but was dead scared of our Alice, Alyss must have craved for meat less lol) 

Fun fact: my favorite arc in Pandora Hearts still remains *drumroll* Headhunter Arc my beloved <3 

not only was it mochijun’s super self-indulgent glamorous-makeover-for-all-my-characters arc but also has some of the best cliffhangers, plot twists and lore—humpty-dumpty (this chain damn!), Fianna’s house and their eerie ritual of making contractors out of little homeless kids, the doings of Isla Yura, his cult of Jack worshippers and the Nightrays (except Elliot ofc) all gave me chills and thrills, kept me to the edge of the seat,, say, if you see, I have less live drafts for that arc, it’s because... I was so invested in the story I couldn't even bother to pause and log on to tumblr; I just had to get to the end. It was like a standalone, little whodunit+thriller story arc with Eliot as the detective/protagonist set out to investigate his family’s curse ;_; and then the final reveal of the actual criminal (Retrace 61) 😭 (something I had guessed at in the beginning from Lottie’s words but the rat is just that good at distracting us from the truth =_=)

The rest of the story is, well, do I need to explain aghfhshfg why is this story so compact and coherent and filled with so much foreshadowing right from the first panel of the Retrace 1 that it still gives me goosebumps (I was actually talking about Retrace 76/77 with my friend (no, not specifying names or giving out spoilers, she hasn’t read PH yet and I am slowly luring her in with a carrot into this rabbit hole)—kinda like: See? I think I have uncovered a huge conspiracy theory— you know the suspected immortals in our world? I think they never die but go full Benjamin Button mode back and forth! She is super interested to know more and I am waiting to cast The Question: *conspiratorial tone* Do you wanna read something with a plot like that?)

Thesis statement: this is, so far, the scariest season, and I say that as a compliment. Vecna has interesting character design, although I’m pretty over cgi monsters. Give us some practical effects. Get Doug Jones in that slimey lil suit. That’s what was so good about the first season. I like the horror movies vibes, but I said this in my evaluation of ep 1, I miss the low budget monster mash that was season 1. They’ve gotten too big for their britches by now. I like how we’ve kind of switched for el always being the center of it all to Max being the center of this. Plus, the tension between them, like we can feel they want to jump on each other and kiss, the actors are so Damn good for being able to make us feel that. Chief kiss really.

My heart melt when I saw Kinn's reaction when he realised he hurt Porsche (and, I'm sure Porsche was not just talking about the punishment). I think benny is a very basic kinda guy. lots of 😂 and 😅 u know?? even his heart emojis are basic, tragically. always a ❤ and never anything much more exciting than that. I think that's the one that probably gets the Most use?? he and his family have a group chat and he basically signs off every message to them with a heart it's very sweet. I think that while he usually does stick to the basic emojis that make sense with whatever he's saying though he LOVES the animal emoji tab. and don't we all honestly but benny is obsessed. he doesn't have a lot of practical use for them unfortunately so he assigns an animal emoji to each different contact in his phone, but his very favorite is the little worm emoji (🪱). which obviously gets assigned to val's contact info bc come on (I am also making a joke here about "would u still date me if I was a worm" which yes, he would. of course he would)

growing up in ithaca, she often felt stifled by the small-town feel, the seasonal turnover of college students only seeming interesting for so long. she leapt at every chance she had to visit nyc, often taking weekend trips with friends or playing tourist in the city with family visiting from out of state. she was in love and knew it was exactly where she wanted to wind up... and yet, she never made any steps in that direction.

well their family is just. very. regular i guess?? wjhdhkf thats the only way i can describe it. their parents split up not long after marcus was born, and now they have TWO mums. and then morgan came out as a lesbian, and there was a whole joke about marcus also coming out as a lesbian at some point. but then he broke that gag by being Gay and Trans. good for him. anyway they love each other SO much theyre a very tigh-knit family who would do anything for each other it's VERY sweet i love them all so much

🍧 SHAVED ICE - do they still have any objects from their childhood? what significance does it have to them? what would their reaction be if they lost it?

they have a LOT of things from their childhood still, mostly little crafts they made together. the most important thing though are the matching necklaces that they made, they're like. 15 years old at this point and have been repaired countless times over the years, and despite it all they both still wear them almost every day. they'd both be pretty devastated if they were to be lost. they could make new ones but it wouldn't be the same.

🌙 MOON - what is your oc's greatest wish? how far are they willing to go for it?

morgan's greatest wish is very simple, she just wants a house with a porch so she can put a rocking chair on it, and sit in it and make her little crafts while watching the sun + feeling the fresh air. she and lou don't have the best paying job ever so it's taking a LOT of time to save up, but she is very patient. they're getting there. slowly but surely. she also has a little crafting business on the side which helps with extra money for a house. she IS going to get it one day.

and marcus. hrgghghh. HM. hmm. more than anything he just wants to be happy and at peace. not that he's not happy now, but it's very hard sometimes considering the kinda shit he's going through every day. he's got a long way to go before he gets there, a lot of bridges to burn, but he'll make it. he's Determined. and well. he has his family to help him through it

🙈 SEE-NO-EVIL - whats a side of your oc that they don't want to show other people?

morgan is very loud and confident, do there's not much she really wants to hide, bc she's very happy with herself, but if there Was something, it'd probably be the fact that she gets anxious sometimes. which is Just Fine but every now and again she feels like she shouldn't be allowed to feel that way, and constantly needs to keep up her Positive appearance, or everyone will be upset or disappointed or whatever. she knows it's not true but she does get very down about it sometimes.

marcus sweet baby boy marcus. he thinks he's a freak. he sees ghosts, which should be a thing that's normal in this world, but people choose to believe otherwise despite all the evidence. and because of that, he feels like an outcast. it's fairly easy to hide, but sometimes it does make him extremely sick, and he can't just be telling random people "oh yeah it's the ghosts lol" every time he passes out or throws up or whatever. so he just has to be like. dont even worry about it i've just got Problems. seeing ghosts does make him act a little weird and skittish and jumpy sometimes, and he doesn't want people thinking he's even weirder than he already seems. so he's just. very much stuck in this cycle of being ashamed of his entire existence, and having to completely bury who he is in order to blend in with everyone else.

UH. I DONT WANT TO MAKE MYSELF SAD BUT SHJDHJG probably that they're not loved, that they're freaks, annoying, etc etc. you know. Normal Stuff people worry about. AND that the other was injured in some way or another, or got in an accident or something [not foreshadowing anything. heh. ehHEh.eghcCOGHG]

around each other and family/close friends, they are very unapologetically themselves. even out of close circles, morgan is still very much the same, never really felt the need to change who she was to be palatable to other people. she is LOUD and everyone has to accept it.

marcus is a very very anxious little man, he can talk to people but he's generally very quiet/fidgety/reserved at first, and it takes a few weeks, sometimes even months, to warm up to people and really get comfortable being around them. and even longer than that [in most cases] to feel fully comfortable being Himself.

🔪 KNIFE - how do they react to injury / misfortune befalling their loved ones (significant other, family, friends)? do they put themselves at blame?

i imagine morgan would feel extremely guilty about it if marcus got injured, bc he's her younger brother, and she should have protected him more, even though that's not the case at all. marcus would feel like he didn't do a good job looking out for her as well, but probably a little less on account of being the younger one. does that. make sense god i hope so hjgshj

outside of that, i don't think they'd blame themselves for other people's misfortunes [lou + jason specifically], bc they're their own people, they can handle themselves, theyre strong enough etc etc, but they'd still feel somewhat guilty for not being there to help, even though generally it would change Nothing bc lou and jason LOVE putting themselves in situations. their help would maybe just, get them a little less injured.

they'd understandably be upset about it, and morgan has a bit of a calmer head than marcus, so he would completely overthink everything and go into Worry Overdrive, while morgan is like it's fine, they're fine, they'll heal. It's Fine. still a little bit worried though. but they both do try to help in the healing process as much as they can.

morgan trusts VERY easily, not to say it hasn't blown up in her face before, but she always tries her best to see the good in people, no matter what. she'd only turn her back on someone if they turned out to be really shitty, and she is a very good judge of character and has no issue with doing that. if someone makes her unhappy, she's more than willing to drop them in an instant. she wouldn't betray anyone she would feel SO bad about it.

marcus. HGIHghfdkhwekjghfdskgh he did. he did trust people once!!!!!! HE DID!! I literally don’t know I’m so sorry. Second time in a row I’m not doing the Rocio one. This is hard bc there are so many potential answers and idrk what the worst one could possibly be. Ok MAYBE if someone told her like it was all for nothing but she would probably just ignore them and not care it would only be bad for her if she believed it. Maybe if someone told them like exactly what happened to their parents and how they’ve like been dead all along thus confirming their worst suspicions. Even just anyone else suggesting the idea would be enough to haunt them so I think if we are talking specific things people would say that’d be the worst.

📸 CAMERA - do they enjoy having their picture taken? what's their go-to pose? do they like taking photos? what do they take photos of?

Well it is 1940 but it’s also fantasy 1940 so first let me check what level of camera technology they had back then. Wow this person on Quora knows an insane amount about cameras <my level of rigorous research and fact checking. 

Ok I like the idea of there for the most part only being old timey flash cameras + although anyone COULD own one most people wouldn’t or at least would only use it on special occasions. Angel probably wouldn’t have one (and if he had he wouldn’t have been able to get them developed anyway). So if he DID get his picture taken he would probably be pretty excited to see the result cause he thinks it’s like a cool thing. Lucia definitely has one so she might take his picture for him if he asked. If he got his OWN camera he’d definitely enjoy it and take pictures of anything he thought looked cool, he has in the past wanted to be an artist but he gave up because it was too difficult. So photography would feel to him like being able to capture something perfectly without having to draw it and he would really enjoy it.

Honestly they do blame themselves regardless of whether or not they could have done anything (except in like very extreme cases, but they feel like they shouldn’t have let other people get into dangerous situations in the first place. And even if they didn’t know about it they count not knowing as a failure on their part as well.) This is because personal connections with other people are incredibly rare for them (you really have to get to know them and they really have to get to know you, so you’d both have to be extremely mutually interested in doing so, and there typically is no reason for this to happen, so they’re pretty much entirely isolated :P oh well) so they view it as their responsibility to protect other people and keep them out of danger, since they see that as the main thing they can contribute to other peoples’ lives. If they fail this they feel like they have offered absolutely nothing to the other person and get very guilty over it.

She is in a couple of aus, not doing particularly great in either of them:

-Star Trek au (yeah yeah cringe and all) she’s a Bajoran who was able to escape off the planet during the occupation, pretty much exactly the same personality except slightly more mature and significantly more traumatized. 

-in the alternate universe where Tiago lived and Jacinto and Kyungsun were killed,

So I guess she would be the best off in the universe where Kyungsun lived. Actually if all of her parents lived that’d probably be the best. She would do the best in an au where everything was fine she’d flourish there basically. As for other fictional worlds ummm I think she’d be a good Pokémon trainer. Pokemon world is pretty much a utopia that is threatened with destruction every few years but she wouldn’t care so that’d work out as well. And then taking care of animals with superpowers would give her something to do.

She’s pretty shy and awkward (I know I’ve literally said the opposite of this in the past I basically changed a lot abt her character but do not worry her current state of existence is permanent) and when talking to people she is very sincere. She comes across as smart or at least knowledgeable to a lot of people which is pretty much true but she gets easily frustrated during arguments so it makes people think she’s pretentious or arrogant when she really is not at all (she’s actually very insecure it’s just that 1) when she does believe in something she believes in it really strongly and expresses it immediately 2) she gets frustrated easily and whenever she gets frustrated she gets emotional easily. It’s very embarrassing to her).

🌙 MOON - what is your oc's greatest wish? how far are they willing to go for it?

For this question I’m going to do some side characters I don’t talk about as much so I can spend some time developing them as well :)

Salem: She doesn’t really know and is deeply frustrated by this. She wants to be able to do whatever she wants without being controlled by other people or any kind of rules at all, but she also wants someone to understand her and feel bad for her. And also forgiveness for all the bad shit she’s done. So basically all these things at once, and she wants them really badly. The problem is that she WOULD do anything to achieve them, but she kind of can’t either because they’re impossible or because she wants them to be genuine and as such can’t force other people to do them.

Tiago: Actually very straightforward, just to not be alone. Like with a positive close relationship with someone else not just literally being around people, he’s had shitty toxic friendships and familial relationships in the past and does not want to repeat any of that. He tends to give up on individual attempts at this pretty easily though, like he doesn’t have a lot of social skills and he doesn’t want to bother anyone or get them to hate him, so he tends to stay on his own. If he did meet someone he trusted though he’d really commit to them he’d make sure to be helpful and really nice to them, not just out of a fear of them leaving but for the most part just to express his appreciation or whatever.

Joseph: During the story what he actually wants is for everything to go back to normal. He is literally 13 and feels like he has to prevent a war/coup/series of illegal and unethical experiments/arms race singlehandedly, so he feels like he HAS to do this bc no one else can bc no one else has the information that he does and he doesn’t know if he can trust anyone/whether he’d be putting them in danger. But what he wants is for this to have been a dream and none of it to have happened in the first place, or even just to get amnesia and forget everything so whatever happened wouldn’t be his fault.

Victor: During the story his greatest wish is just to survive, he would LIKE to escape and he would LIKE to be supported or helped by someone else, but all of that is secondary to the desire to stay alive. It’s almost compulsive how often he is thinking of this. He would do almost anything (short of like killing a child but he’d kill someone his own age) even though he would not want to at all and he’d feel really bad about it, he’d be able to justify it by saying he needed to do it to accomplish his most important goal, that being not dying.

Laura: Hmm probably to be respected or to be taken seriously, when she was younger it might have been to change the world for the better but as she got older the need for respect became more powerful and kinda drowned that out. She would go very far including lying to and betraying people, and would even consider killing someone if it was necessary (although it like. Probably would not be), but she wouldn’t hurt anyone she considers to be innocent, at least not directly.

💥 COLLISON - what emotions do they have trouble dealing with?

So Renato is absolutely wretched at dealing with pretty much any emotion which is a big part of why he is. Like that. He doesn’t really know how to process anything and tends to externalize most of his feelings into Self Destruction or Being A Major Asshole.

I think sadness/grief is probably his worst one though. He hates letting himself feel his feelings and he’s been through a lot of shit so it just sort of builds in him internally like plaque and fucks up his relationships.

🕷️ SPIDER - what is their biggest fear? do they have any irrational / mundane fears?

I think he’s most afraid of completing losing his humanity and becoming like Other werewolves—relishing violence, having a complete disregard for human life, losing his sense of scale and morality—and the fact that to hold the kind of position he does, that’s kind of already started, really cuts him up. If he doesn’t die violently in the next decade dude has the potential to live like 400 more years, which is inherently going to change the way he relates to humanity and to the world. This is existentially terrifying and the only way to prevent it is to die, which he has already decided not to do.

As for mundane fears. I think he is kind of wigged out by bugs and other creepy crawlies but you would never hear that from him.

🙉 HEAR-NO-EVIL - what is the worse thing your oc could hear from someone?

Rosarian has a really thick skin, a weird self image, and an incredibly low opinion of most people, so it’s pretty hard to hurt them just with words. They do have certain turns of phrase that are trauma triggers but that feels like a cop-out.

In general most of what would get under their skin would involve implying they would be better without the current power and independence they hold bc they’re more suited to a powerless or submissive role. If someone just said they were incompetent they wouldn’t care but like, you know, “you’d be happier if you were just a housewife” or whatever. That would really upset them.

🔪 KNIFE - how do they react to injury / misfortune befalling their loved ones (significant other, family, friends)? do they put themselves at blame?

So they’ve dealt with so much of this (among other traumas) that they’ve decided to deal with it by no longer having loved ones!!! They definitely blame themself for things that happened in the past, especially bc at least one time that happened was like. I mean they killed their husband very much on purpose.

The closest thing they’ve had to loved ones in the past few decades were their precious seconds, Adam and Lane, both of who got killed. In that case Rosarian just brought down an absolute world of physical harm to those responsible. I think if something happened to someone they cared about that didn’t have a really clear Person At Fault they might just invent one lol.

🌏 EARTH - will they give up the world for someone they love? is this decision easy for them?

Renato: Yes, 100%, absolutely. The list of people he actually loves is really short but he would do anything in his power for them. The world is a horrible place full of assholes he doesn’t like if he had to get rid of it for his sister to be healthy and happy it would be an easy decision.

Rosarian: I think a no, but it’d be a tougher call for them. One of the things that anchors them is a strong sense of personal responsibility toward their role in society. I don’t think they would be willing to abdicate that role for anyone, even if that would mean losing a person they loved.

🪤 MOUSE TRAP - what will always lure them into certain danger? a loved one in danger? a promise of something they are always searching for?

Renato: Either a situation that genuinely needs his help or a cute boy. He wants to do the right thing very badly. He also wants a boyfriend very badly. He’s self destructive and used to danger and life-or-death situations so he also doesn’t care that much.

Rosarian: their own poor judgement. They almost never go “I will do this thing, even though it could put me at massive risk I have no control over” and avoid those kinds of situations but due to their century and a half case of PTSD they have received no treatment for they sometimes 1. Fail to recognize something as a danger due to it still feeling normalized to them 2. Do avoidance so hard it becomes dangerous or 3. Compulsively partake in self destructive activities. If they absolutely had to put themself in direct danger to fulfill their duties as pack leader I think they would but they really try to avoid that when they can.

✂️ SCISSORS - what is the "last straw" for them to cut someone out of their life? how easily do they let go of people?

Renato: pretty much just hurting someone he cares about. He has almost no standards other than that and is much more frequently the guy who gets cut out.

Rosarian: Rosarian will cut you off for sneezing at the wrong time. Rosarian will cut you off for anything. If you have to work together in a professional capacity they will generally be able to maintain a professional relationship but anybody else? If you accidentally trigger their “This Person Is A Threat” reaction they are just going to completely remove you from their life ASAP. Literally the only reason they continue to be in contact with Renato at the start of Consumptionverse is they are coworkers and he’s politically useful.
