A manipulative act of building trust or genuine display of wanting to collaberate?#XY and A-qing have experience of the cruelty of the world where as xxc has blind (haha) faith that kindness prevails #These three simultaneous know each other more than the other's think and *yet* completely miss the mark.#the stories they tell in the blizzard (and the reactions they have) so perfectly display who these characters are #Both xxc and xy tell stories about unfair cruelty. To xxc it is others who's suffering is highlighted. XY highlight's his own.#A-qing understands xue yang more that she wants to admit. She predicts the twists in xy's story and empathizes with the hurt and anger #A-qing is also taking advantage of xxc! She is also lying to survive!#Though shes mostly benign in her intentions. there is something just so amazing about jason coming back to life, seeing how the world remembered him and hating it. coming back to life and telling the people who loved him that they grieved him wrong. people worry if they’re doing the right thing x person would’ve wanted them to after they died, but no one has ever experienced something like that.

someone who you loved and mourned and who loved you back came back and was disgusted by what grief made of you. they didn’t want anything to do with you. how do you deal with the loss of someone you loved a second time around when they’re standing right in front of your eyes, breathing and alive again?

There's something so beautiful about Red Dwarf just as a concept and as a series.

Comedy aside, it has one of the most meaningful messages I think I've ever seen. The whole idea of being hopelessly lost and alone in the infinity of space but still having hope and love is just unbelievable. Dave Lister is just the ultimate guy ever.

He's a loser, a nobody, a complete write-off in terms of his career, a depressed, lonely man who is the last of his species, the only one left, three million years away from home.

Yet he still has hope. He still appreciates beauty in the rockiest places. He still believes in justice and life above all else, so much so that his worst fear is losing his morality. He still goes on.

He's so far away from home that there's no realistic hope of getting back, but he doesn't care. He makes a home out of everything and everyone around him, eternally living in the only way -the best way- he can.

He's created his own Promised Land.

its heartbreaking how arthur tries, so hard, on numerous occasions, to get dutch to be the man he knew dutch, or believed dutch to be, the man who stood up for the little man, who took from the rich and gave to the poor, who raised him, loved him, is the reason arthur is the man that he is. he continues to try, he begs and pleads with him, no matter how many times dutch spits on his efforts, he tries so hard, having some hope that the man is still in there somewhere, only to be prove wrong again and again. yet, he still holds out hope, he still tries, even when he's dying, he still warns dutch, and pleads with him to believe, even till the bitter end and god.

it's so heartbreaking how loyal arthur is, and was, and how it doesn't matter if he's loyal, if he follows dutch and abandons everything, his love, his family, for dutch, it doesn't matter in the end as he still chose a man so vile, who he only knew for six months, a man who has only ever fed his ego, a man who actively sold the gang out for his greed over his son who loved him.
