Is anyone else not into this?

I consider Lucifer extremely old fashioned, which certainly isn't a bad thing. So I feel like this gesture came from a very thoughtful, sweet, even innocent place.

But I'm the type of person who likes to wear what I wanna wear. I definitely wouldn't want someone else choosing my outfit for me.

Despite that... I chose the blue outfit xD

The first choice resulted in Lucifer basically dismissing us/brushing off our comment.

The second choice earned a pretty snarky/lowkey hostile comment from Lucifer.

In the end, I chose the third option.

leaping and hopping on a moonshadow by @lunarblazes - a fantasy au by luna my beloved! pearl suddenly gains magical powers and goes on a quest to find her long-lost friend grian who might know what's happening to her. she meets a lot of familiar faces along the way!

Recall by @redwinterroses - hey, i was the artist for this one! :D mumbo goes missing, so grian and scar search for him. they find that grumbot has been up to some... things along the way. the fic isn't finished but i think the chapters red put out is worth a read if you don't mind leaving off on a cliffhanger because it really is super interesting

dramaturgy by wormcity - a universe where gem and pearl join in a season 7 that was never finished. mumbo became the mayor, but the turf war went so very wrong afterwards. admittedly i have not finished reading this yet because ummm short on time xD but it's super interesting with a lot of layers of drama(turgy hahaha)!

a body is an object by ruffboi - grian is a mimic, and pearl's arrival in s8 shakes him up. she hasn't seen him in a while and is quite upset to learn that the grian she knew died a long time ago. a great read for familial connections and conflict of friendships!

Goatman and the Rift by TheDepressedCanary - doc's eldritch powers start acting up when the rift appears. what shenanigans will ensue?

late at night, when the stars don't look quite right by @lunarblazes - an excellent empires s1 and hermitcraft crossover longfic, where grian lands into the server and is discovered by pearl! very great worldbuilding and relationships, i especially love the dynamic between gri and pearl and pearl and gem :D

every new discovery is just a reminder by amaranthinecanicular - grian begins pulling alternate versions of the hermits from the life series into the server. he does save a lot of them, but at what cost? it does end on a cliffhanger but this is genuinely one of the most captivating oneshots i've ever read... argghhh

The Fair and the Brave and the Good by @slashmagpie - an afterlife smp longfic centered around the shelby, scott, and sausage. i have never watched afterlife smp before in my LIFE and this is still one of my favorite pieces of literature ever. the characters and worldbuilding is impeccable and perfect if you like something dark with themes of hope and renewal.

Two Can Keep a Secret (If One of Them is Red) by anonymous secretmcblog - a 3L oneshot! ren suspects grian has stockholm syndrome with his pact to stay with scar, but his expectations are wrong. a truly excellent read and one of them first fics i've read! i still go back to reread it from time to time

dog at the door by fluffy_papaya & iamsolarflare - a longfic where doc and ren take a trip on a van on their way to s8. ren, however, is not quite himself, and doc has to learn to befriend the red king.

devil town is colder in the summertime by @bananasofthorns - a oneshot from a 100hsmp/life series d&d au! team BEST ventures into a cursed evil fucked up forest. uh oh.

Interview with the Aftermath by @ranchersrevenge (wanderlasts) - the last life contestants are invited for an interview. the responses vary greatly.

stars, smoke, and stolen car keys by wormcity - a 100hsmp modern au oneshot where grian, scar, and joel go on a hike. it doesn't go quite as they expected.

the beehive state by amaranthinecanicular - a dsmp oneshot after wilbur moves to utah. tommy visits him, and the two reconnect. i have to say i stopped following dsmp a long time ago but this fic made me BAWL. i don't even think you need to know any of the characters that well to really enjoy just how amazing the writing itself is

Can't Go Back (This Time) by @duckmumbo (musicaltvbooks) - soup group goes end raiding and accientally finds themselves in afterlife smp. nothing goes wrong, surely! also admittedly i havent finished reading this either but roy i swear i will. this is a great read nevertheless and the soup group dynamic is impeccable!

TommyInnit's unbeatable method of avoiding sudden death by eneliii - on the train of dsmp fics, this is the superhero au longfic that inspired my own hc superhero au, vdhau. it's a lot of funny shenanigans with tommy and his friends. the fic does take a dark turn at the end, but that can be skipped entirely (as said by eneli herself) if you just want the wholesome aspects.

Apothecary Nightmare design

I've been listening to the Apothecary diaries anime dub and was inspired to make this idea. Enjoy. The original Dreamtale creator is Jokublog

This AU idea was inspired to me by "The Apothecary Diaries". There's a good bit of text explaining the AU as I want to leave myself some notes and ideas (Some that may be scrapped some changed who knows right now).

In this AU Dream and Nightmare are both heirs to the Floral Empire. Nightmare having more of a chance to take over as he was the first born. Nim having been killed when her sons were 4 by assignation via a slow acting poison. So she and the food taster didn't survive. Being picky eaters Dream and Nightmare were saved from the same fate. Nightmare wasn't as liked but no one really cared. Till the twins turned 5 Dream was about to be cursed by someone, but Nightmare pushed him out of the way and became corrupted. After that almost everyone of the empire secretly turned on him. The two not knowing till the two turned 6.

A group kidnapped Nightmare in the night. Placing special made restraints that are normally used for prisoners awaiting trial. To weaken his magic and prevent him from using his tentacles. They were cruel and gave him extremely heavy restraints despite how small he was. He never learned the true weight and simply guesses that they are possibly 60 pounds. They kept him drugged and carried him far away, wanting to sell him for a high profit. Only for an avalanche in the snowy mountains to happen and take their lives, with only Nightmare surviving.

When Nightmare finally awake he couldn't return home as he does not know how to return home. So he traveled. Trying to find help. During so he broke his crown and started hiding it around his neck under the metal collar not wanting to lose his crown.

Eventually finding a village and being taken in by some women who works in a brothel. Being raised by them while also becoming an apothecary. Working with poison and finding cures to them. Doing this for 16 years and seeing the women of the brothel as step parents. Eventually at the age of 22 he was kidnapped again and sold as a servant to the X empire.

One day he learned about two of the heirs having been sick and concluded that it was poison. So he left a written note to warn them and went on with his day not wanting to be seen as anything that important.

This caught the interest of Cross and his concubine (Killer, Dust, and Horror). So Cross worked to find who it was that saved his children Arch and Mo (Mochi just without the chi part). When they found out it was Nightmare and learned of his skills as an apothecary, he moved him up to poison taste tester, and is waiting to make him his fourth concubine. Being made into a concubine is a high honor. A tradition in Cross' family is to have 4 concubine. For now Nightmare is not a concubine and won't be for another year or two. As Cross wants Nightmare to get use to them all. They also don't know of Nightmare’s royal background.

I won't have Nightmare and Dream reunite for a while. There are also other empires that I'll be adding later. I'll be making artwork of all the other characters later, as I do wish to make some short comics with this idea. Also the restraint design might change, I'm still trying to figure out how it'll look. I might also change Nightmare's clothing design idk at the moment. So look forward to seeing Apothecary AU designs of Cross, Horror, Killer, Dust, Error, and others.

So sorry for the delay, I started writing this post and saved it as a draft, and then my dumb-ass forgot where to look for the drafts XD anyway, can't imagine life without headcanons haha

Nabu, you say... Now I wish I had spent more time thinking about headcanons for him, I haven't really given him as much thought in comparison to some other characters, but here you go:

1. He's the oldest in the guy squad, and therefore he has this big brother energy, especially for Riven.

2. He's not a picky eater, he eats literally anything. People might think he just doesn't want to cause problems for anyone, but it's just how he genuinely is.

3. Almost the tallest, shorter only to Helia.

4. A bit of gentle giant energy, but serious and intimidating when necessary.

5. More of a dog person, but he gets along with cats too.

6. His love languages are probably Quality time and Words of affirmation.

7. Prefers heat over frost.

8. Follows a regular hair care routine, likes to experiment with types of braids.

9. He has this magic ability to make people show their soft sides (in his case, Aisha and Riven, he made it possible for these two to get along and become friends).

I know it ain't much, but if I think of something, I will add it. Thanks for the ask!

I don't think the animatronics would understand the significance of Christmas like we do..

To them, Christmas is just that time of year where the Pizzaplex gets decorated with trees and shiny things. Their cued songs change and they get temporary redesigns for about a month or so. Then suddenly all the decorations get torn down and everything goes back to normal. :/

I can see Freddy liking just a simple Pepperoni. :) Same with Bonnie!

Chica probably likes all pizzas, but maybe her favorite is a pizza with absolutely all the toppings. Spinach, Black olives, Sausage, extra cheese, Mushrooms, onions- just put everything on there! XD

I'd like to think that Foxy is surprisingly a bit picky with his pizza and prefers a plain cheese. :00

Monty probably likes most pizza's but maybe he openly prefers Hawaiian pizza?

Roxy probably also likes Hawaiian pizza but is afraid of being judged so never eats it :(

Google seems to say that male calico cats are possible. They're just extremely rare (1 in 3,000 up to 1 in 10,000) and they have an XXY chromosome which can cause Klinefelter's Syndrome.

After all the googling I did I decided to add this fact to my Calico Jack lore XDD

SO my new canon is, on Kwazii's mom's side of the family there are generation after generation of Calico daughters. Having a male calico is extremely rare so most of his moms family are all female calicos. BUT, his great, great, great, etc- Grandfather was a rare male calico. His name was Jackson something Calico. He was pirate legend and all that stuff.

Jackson had some daughters and then generations later the second male would be born to the calico line. Kwazii's grandfather! They named him Jackson too after the first male Calico in their bloodline. Jack is aware of his rarity and is very proud to bear the name Jackson.

Now Kwazii's dad was an orange tabby. So he was born male and has most all the fur patterns his dad did. Say for there being a little more white than is usually seen in tabby's coat. Maybe he got a bit of that from his Calico mom.?

But that doesn't mean that every ask like that will get a drawing. A lot of the time those asks just make me think and I type out a response instead. I'm always open for those asks though and would read all of your suggestions! Just don't ask them expecting me to draw them because 9 times out of 10 they wont get a drawing-

My advice would be to base your OC on an already existing animatronic. That way it looks related to the other animatronics and fits in a little better :0

So in my opinion your options are animatronics like Ballora, Circus Baby, Puppet, Ennard, Balloon boy.. you know, the "human" characters. You could use one of them as a reference and make something similar but with a skeleton theme.

For example, the Puppet. You could make your own puppet with maybe different proportions, and a skull mask instead of a clown(?) one. Maybe instead of stripes on the arms it could be a cartoony bone pattern. Instead of buttons on the chest it could be 2-3 ribs on each side. Stuff like that! :}

Oh no no- The partial and true swap follow the formula of the classic AU.

So in the partial swap, Foxy was sane and helped guide Gregory through the pizzaplex. Gregory escapes with Foxy's help, but later returns. Foxy takes him to the basement where Gregory snoops around and finds Chica. Later on Chica and Gregory snoop around and find Freddy. Monty, Roxy and Bonnie don't remember Gregory and they're not aware that he's in the basement.

Now in the true swap, Bonnie was sane and helped guide little Vanessa through the pizzaplex. She escapes with Bonnie's help, but later returns. Bonnie takes her to the basement where she snoops around and finds Chica. Later on Chica and Vanessa snoop around and find Freddy. Monty, Roxy and Foxy don't remember Vanessa and they're not aware that she's in the basement.

When watching aot it looks like Annie lost a significant amount of weight in the crystal, understandably as she didn’t eat and drink for 4 years.

Obviously starvation for this long will cause health problems and how would armin and the others help with this? I feel like they will give her extra food when they can, especially on fort salta when food is limited. Maybe even give her easier jobs while there there, like less lifting and stuff

Yes, she was so severely malnourished and dehydrated! I figure her titan powers made her go into a state of extremely slow metabolism, providing her with just enough to remain in a stagnant state of being alive.

Post-canon, it's interesting to think about how this will affect her. Two ways to look at it: after breaking out of the crystal, her shifter powers restore back to good as new, once she's had a decent meal and drink. OR, the effect is temporary and after losing her shifter powers, her health deteriorates like a normal person's would've.

In the latter case, it SHOWS on Annie (haha her pale skin isn't hiding shit) and everyone is C O N C E R N E D. I think trying to keep Annie's body healthy from a nutritional aspect would be their priority? Like making sure she isn't JUST stuffing her face with sugary stuff, but actually making sure she eats a variety of stuff for those much needed vitamins and proteins? I hc Annie as a somewhat picky eater too; she has some favourite foods, she STICKS to those favourite foods (to everyone's exasperation) and doesn't give a fuck for the things that are actually good for her lmao xD (fussy cat, you see it?)

On Fort Salta anyway, they're ALL tired, but maybe one of the others will take notice of her terrible state and general weakness (Armin, for sure) and tell her she doesn't need to be lifting heavy stuff and doing a lot of work. Unfortunately, I don't think she's gonna take kindly to it - of course she might be like "ffs sure then, I'll just slack off" if this was any other time, but post-rumbling Annie is... no longer the same old aloof slacker, okay? xD

This person would certainly have to tick off a very particular set of boxes in order to be worthy of "Gale" status.

He would first and foremost need to be a gentleman. Kind, respectful. Not to mention he would need to be financially stable and responsible. He also needs to be a reliable and devoted partner, willing to learn and grow with you, never one to make you feel less than or unworthy. Especially in the bedroom, he would certainly need to be highly in-tune to your needs and desires, what makes you writhe with intense pleasure, what gives you comfort.

Also, while we all know our lizard brains are just built for physical attraction, he must find beauty in us no matter what we look like because beauty goes far and beyond the physical. Gimme that body worship, the praise. Lord I would melt personally. Of course, pleasure is a two-way street, and I know he would revel in receiving all the love and passion you have to give in return.

I think this goes without saying: He would have to be a man who respects your boundaries, and always defends you if he ever feels like yours are being threatened by someone else.

This man would also need to be very secure and in touch with his feelings, unafraid to express them, and share with you, and be equally willing to do the same for you.

Also...please. A man who can cook is perhaps the sexiest thing ever. Cooking a meal together, guiding each other's hands and sharing in the simple domestic moments that we take for granted, and make them something beyond the mundane. *pleaseee*.

These are very specific for me for many reasons, but I need someone who is romantic as hell, and playful. Again, this might be very personal to me, but I crave a mentally and emotionally validating/stimulating relationship before I desire physical intimacy. Well...sexual intimacy anyway. I do enjoy a gentle, reverent caress, a stolen kiss, a warm embrace...even cuddling, tangled together without any expectations of something more other than to just blissfully enjoy in the closeness of the other. Those are the moments worth fighting for imho.

I would be remiss if I didn't say that having longish, wavy hair, soul-crushing deep brown eyes, facial hair, and tattoos would be a HUGE selling point, but certainly not a requirement (we can't be too picky now I suppose).

Hopefully I haven't missed anything, but if a dashing, handsome gentleman with these lovely qualities portaled into my life I would probably become a puddle of goo.

I don't know. Soulmates, fated mates, I don't care for the name, but it's always two people who are pushed towards each other by whatever higher entity exists in this fictional world. And I don't like that. Of course two people meeting is fate or luck or your friend Amanda's doing, or whatever - this is the real world. But in those fantasy romances it's always shown in such a way as if those characters have no say in the matter whatsoever. They're without will of their own. They see each other, the love lightning strikes and it's done, and it's boring. I totally believe there are people who are made for each other in this world, the soulmates! But I don't want to read about characters that smell each other pheromones or hate each other and then find out they're some magical mates from some prophecy and then they must love each other, there's no option. This is what I have a problem with I guess xD Like, let them fight for each other, let them create the connection, not discover it.

I very much love Pride and Prejudice character dynamic and romance. It's the most inspiring. Yes! I am definitely into it!

If Sephiroth lost his mind in a less destructive way and just reverted to the mentality of, say, a 3-5 year old, would Zack take care of him himself in Midgar, spirit him away to the countryside, or take him to a nursing home and visit him a lot? Would Cloud join them?

Either way, I demand Genesis come around to apologize and Sephiroth stick his tongue out at him and go ppbbttthhhh. And maybe eventually hug him, that's negotiable.

If Sephiroth were to somehow get reverted to a childlike state, I do actually imagine him taking on some animalistic tendencies. Not a feral child or anything--but just tapping in a LOT more to those alien instincts as a kid than as an adult.

Altho it would be... very awkward at first, I do think Zack would take care of him <3 Sephiroth probably wouldn't even recognize him at first, all those books having completely warped his mind into something vulnerable and splintered and instinctive. Zack would have to approach him calmly--like taming a scared, bristled animal. Seph might back away as Zack tries to step forward, eyes wild and frenzied and unseeing. But Zack would keep going, would take it step by step. He would extend his hand and talk in a low, hushing voice. Talk to the friend that he knows is in there.

"C'mon, buddy... you know me. We're pals."

Sephiroth's breath is labored, a book skidding across the floor as he backs away.

“Please, bud... Don't let them turn you into a monster."

It takes time, it takes patience, but eventually Zack makes a break through. He gets close enough to Sephiroth to place a comforting hand on his shoulder--a gesture of affection that Sephiroth displayed to Zack countless times in ShinRa. Sephiroth doesn't speak, can't find the will to make a coherent sound. But Zack understands from the look in his eyes that Sephiroth remembers him--somewhere in the tangled web of confusion and truth and lies. Somewhere within the threads, there's a part of Sephiroth that knows he is safe.

The bond is fractured, of course, and it takes days upon days of care for Sephiroth to fully trust the person that he's with. They bade Nibelheim and ShinRa goodbye as soon as they left the library, stopping at Cloud's house one last time to have a proper goodbye. Needless to say Cloud is... startled by the drastic shift in his commander. Sephiroth is practically hiding behind Zack the whole time, unwilling to step into the house or even the porch. It's a saddening sight--and Cloud is very confused--but Zack assures his friend that Sephiroth is safer if they leave, even if it's in this condition. The boy understands, sharing a hug with Zack. And, promising not to return to Shinra himself, he watches the two depart into the outskirts of Nibelheim.

What proceeds in the following days is essentially how Zack took care of Cloud--except Sephiroth is conscious on most levels. Zack brings him food and water to eat when he can find them, having to urge Sephiroth to have some H2O and actually digest some nutrients. He's a picky eater, but Zack is always ginger, and ultimately nourishes his friend. They spend the days trekking across the continent, Zack making sure to have his sword ready and always keeping an eye out for helicopter-shaped shadows. At night they sleep under trees--unless lightning storms calls for other arrangements. Separated by a few feet at first, Sephiroth insists on sleeping closer and closer to Zack as the days pile on. His back would be pressed to the other's, just to always ensure that his friend is there. That he hasn't left him. Left him like... like the people in his mind that memory couldn't quite reach, but their spirits still loom in his mind. He's afraid of being alone. Of being abandoned. And every night, feeling the way his friend's body tenses, Zack mumbles to him that he's not going anywhere. And he mumbles it as many times as he needs to until he feels those muscles relax.

This arduous routine carries on for weeks--almost months, And while Sephiroth is nowhere near his normal self, bits and shards of his humanity begin to break through the surface again. He doesn't sleep coiled up anymore, but instead on his side; he stands up straighter and eats with far more care. Once, Zack even hears him trying to croak his name--like he's remembering he can speak, trying with strenuous effort to form the syllables and remember which order they go. Tears nearly welled in his eyes when he recognized the vague sound of a "Z..." pushing its way through Sephiroth's teeth. He's coming back to himself, piece by piece. And with each recruited fragment, the hope in Zack's heart burns even brighter. The hope that everything is going to be just fine. That they won't go back to that hellish life. That nothing is going to hurt them.

Until that day.

One afternoon, when the glaring orb of the sun is blazing high in the mountains, it's not the shadow of a helicopter that Zack spots. No. It's something... sharper. More arched. Almost like--

And the feathers begin floating to the ground.

Zack sprints to where Sephiroth is resting--currently eating a piece of meat that he had used his own Firaga to cook. The warrior hardly has time to register why his friend is so frantic before Zack is standing over his body like a shield. And he hardly has time to register that before a red-cladded figure descends before them--Rapier flaunted, eyes glimmering with vulpine intent.

Genesis laughs that he has finally found Sephiroth after all this time--taunts Zack for being his little guard dog. But what Genesis can't see behind guard dog!Zack is the way Sephiroth is reacting. The way the man is bristling as he listens to his voice, the way his muscles are tethering into knots and the embers purring in his eyes--ready to be ignited. Something inside of him is being stirred; something visceral, something raw. A flash of something that extends beyond his earliest memories of the library--beyond the books and shelves and sickening splatters of words. Something that transcends all of that. Something that catalyzed it. Something that he remembers.

And he hisses.

The conversation--argument--that Genesis and Zack are having is cut short, severed mid-sentence. Genesis initially thinks it's a monster--some piercing sound made by some animal in their proximity. But it's not. Of course it's not. And as Zack sees the look in his eyes, the confusion--all those horrifying feelings he felt when he first found Seph in the Nibel library--he decides to show Genesis the full consequences of his actions.

Visage stern, Zack steps aside, and reveals the hunched, dehumanized Sephiroth behind him. Seph's eyes are blazing--more wild than they hd been in month; his lips are pulled back in a vicious snarl; his muscles are tauter than rope, almost ready to snap at the faintest quiver of his limbs. He looks insane, rabid. Dangerous. Monstrous.

And Genesis is horrified.

He tries asking what the Hell happened to him, tries to get through. But he can't. There's no response--which is somehow the loudest answer he could have been given. Zack takes the reins then and explains exactly what happened--how he found Sephiroth in this state in the Nibel library, all after what happened in the Reactor. After what he learned; after what he was brutally told. Genesis can't speak, is unable to grasp onto any semblance of coherence. He can only take step after step back, staring at his friend--gaping, the glimmer in his eyes extinguished--unable to tear his gaze away from the sight of his old friend.

The first words he sputters are messy, broken. Pained. They're laden with something--heavy with some ghostly form of regret and sorrow. They're words that are sunken deep, poisonous and dry in his throat. But he gets them out anyway. He needs to. He needs to, because they are eating his voice away.

"This.. this isn't what I wanted..."

But it's what he got. It's what he did. The words are no more healing outside his lips than they were inside his body. He continues to stand there, staring at his shattered friend, feeling so incredibly caged amid the endless swaths of stone and mountain surrounding them. He drops his sword, lets the echo ripple and rattle. He wants to clutch his chest; he wants to fall to his knees. He wants to say something that matters.

He... he wants to...

"Can... can he hear me?"

Zack, recognizing the genuine swarm of emotions consuming the auburn, lets his visage soften. His eyes lose a lot of their malice, his heart slackens from its vengeful grip. And he responds to the question honestly.

"I don't know, really... but I think so."

It's all Genesis needs to hear. With a lump of iron in his throat, he begins to cautiously approach the snarling Sephiroth--step by step, inch by inch, like he was barefoot and walking on a sheet of flaming coals.

"Sephiroth... it's not true, okay? I was wrong. Do you hear me...? I was wrong."

Sephiroth doesn't take his eyes off of him.

"Don't listen to what I said... please. I was angry... so angry. And i just wanted your help. And... and I didn't know what to do when I couldn't get it."

A flicker, distant and almost imperceptible. A glimpse of something. A response.

'You're not... okay? Please, just listen to me. You're not one. Okay? Okay..?! Do you hear me?!"

Sephiroth closes his mouth, loosening... listening. Watching as the red-cladded figure grows closer and closer. Closer and closer. Zack doesn't intervene, doesn't say a word. He recognizes the shift, can feel it in the air--the faint shadow of a smile falling onto his lips as Genesis continues to approach him.

"Please... you're not.. you're not a monster, Sephiroth. Don't do this. Please. I'm..."

A deep, broken breath rattles through the air. A swallow. A choke. And the unmistakable shimmer of a teardrop.

"I'm sorry, my friend. I'm... I'm so sorry... for everything"

He is practically standing in front of Sephiroth now, legs shaking. Weak. The air had grown significantly thicker, a dense and heavy pressure weighing on all three's shoulders. Sephiroth has gone completely silent--his mouth closed, his muscles untethered, the embers controlled and purring. He stares at the red-cladded man for a long stretch of time, not saying a word. Almost like he's thinking. Considering.

Until. suddenly, faster than the speed of a bullet, the man pounces.

"Seph, DON'T!--

....

....

...

But he hadn't pounced to attack; he hadn't pounced to kill.

Instead, the man had lunged forward, and wrapped his arms around the winged SOLDIER.

"...F... forgive."

I immediately think of Sae because Spanish food and Filipino food aren't all that different, right? Like in the morning you can have a breakfast of pan de sal and mechado. Then for lunch you can have menudo. Lastly, for dinner, pochero?

I just know he likes Spanish food. I mean, I know I do. Who doesn't?

Bachira and Shidou would definitely not be shy about taking home food from parties. Trust that they will have a plastic bag in each hand filled with food.

Bachira especially likes the hotdogs on the stick with cute marshmallows on the top that they serve at birthday parties lol.

Otoya's favorite food is sinigang because it has the word "gang" in it and he finds it funny.

I know Isagi will LOVE Filipino desserts. Halo-halo, leche flan, bibingka—he'll have it all.

Isagi discovers that the sweet style Filipino spaghetti is insanely good.

Sakura is a streetfood enjoyer. He was initially afraid of isaw (chicken intestines) but he reallyyyyy likes it now.

Nirei is more of a kwek-kwek (quail eggs fried in batter) enjoyer.

Hiragi can't have streetfood because he's scared it'll upset his stomach.

Once he saw a lechon laid out on a table, Ume was smitten by it. The most delicious thing he has tried ever.

On that note, Ume loves the atmosphere of how Filos gather together over food. We love to bond over food after all and he fw that.

I have a feeling Kaji would be a bit picky with our food though...

Like the cultured man that he is, Suo would love to learn how to cook certain dishes.

ANYWAYS! i am sooooo excited for both these fics and it's a travesty that SL is still so far out... i NEED to work on Honor Bound T___T but god the editing on Alliance... and just the years and years its been since Alliance and how much my view of like EVERYTHING has changed...

okay so let's start with A Cat's Guide, which is a gift fic for @ghoste-catte (surprise!) that has been sitting for like 2 years now and was prompted by a video of a cat living in an apartment that i saw. this cat was like obsessed with the neighbor and always wanted to visit him, and i thought it would make a cute story from cat!Shukaku's pov as he tries to set up Gaara with his cute, nice neighbor who always gives Shukaku fresh salmon whenever Shukaku slips out of his own apartment to go visit Lee. it's 9 chapters cause you know cats have 9 lives (and i have years worth of gift fics for greyson to make up for) and the chapter titles are structured like a self-help sort of book and im genuinely so excited to work on this fic i just suck at getting anything started. but here's the opening:

Step One: Selecting an Ideal Match

Shukaku had been around for at least as long as Gaara had been alive, but for a cat pushing twenty-one he was a surprisingly healthy beast, except for the arthritis that had set in some six or seven years ago. Not that this deterred him in the least.

Quite the contrary, Shukaku spent much of his time climbing things he shouldn't and jumping from places far too high.

Yet however much trouble he managed to get into, Shukaku was a cat of breeding, and he took himself quite seriously. He did not, for instance, protest at the groomers because he liked to be clean; he did not, as a matter of pride, shove his face into his food dish and gobble it up; and he only slept on the nicest, softest cat beds money could buy. He ate expensive food, slept on expensive things, and shat in premium cat litter.

All in all, Shukaku was spoiled, and he liked it that way.

He was also picky, persnickety, and prone to biting for no discernible reason—at least, not as far as his human could tell. If Shukaku had been able to explain himself, he'd have told Gaara he was quite the sensitive soul and sometimes his mood simply got the better of him.

Gaara's brother might not be so sympathetic, having been on the receiving end of one of Shukaku's many fits of fury, but Gaara was understanding despite the language barrier.

and now to Secret Liaisons, which is the third installment to the Allied Nations Saga and at one point was the FINAL part of it back when it was a trilogy, but I knew that there needed to be a fourth fic to that series because there were too many questions left unanswered at the end of SL.

So without spoiling anything for HB, SL continues to follow the ensemble cast with Gaara and Lee being like the main protagonists. This is yet another political drama and it starts off with a blow to Gaara and Lee.

SL is also where GaaLee actually comes into play, but I'm trying not to spoil too much so we'll leave it vague enough. However, I do have lots of snippets for this fic and can share the prologue because I'm just that generous. (Please keep in mind, I wrote this prologue like... 14 years ago and my writing has since evolved):

“We await your decision, Kazekage-sama.” The council rose as one, filing out of the room, leaving Gaara to sit with his thoughts, his siblings sharing significant looks over his head.

“Gaara,” Temari began, reaching for her brother.

Gaara rose quickly, stepping out of her reach. “I have things to take care of.”

Temari and Kankurou watched Gaara leave, helpless to do anything else.

“You wanted to see me, Kazekage-sama,” Lee said, bowing before Gaara’s desk.

Gaara turned from Lee, rising to his feet and moving to the window overlooking his village. This was his home, it was everything he had fought to protect in the war, it was the most important bond he had. He was the Kazekage of Suna, first and foremost, but that knowledge did little to sooth him.

“Do you miss Konoha?” he asked, not daring to glance at Lee.

“Of course,” Lee said, certain as always. “It is my home and my friends are there, my sensei. But I am happy here.”

Gaara didn’t reply, watching as a child ran past on the street, chasing a ball. It was his job to protect that child, to protect that child’s mother and father. The choice should not have been so difficult to make. He loved his village powerfully, he loved his people and his siblings just as much. They were a part of Suna.

Lee was not.

“I… have no more need of you,” Gaara whispered to the wind, not daring to turn around, almost hoping Lee hadn’t heard.

Silence stretched between them for a minute before Lee found his voice, cracked and uncertain. “I—beg your pardon, Kazekage-sama?”

Gaara closed his eyes, fisting the fabric of his Kage robe above his heart. “I am sending you back to Konoha.”

“Wha—but—why?! Have I done something to upset you? Whatever it is, I will make up for it! I will not do it again! I promise!”

Gaara shook his head. “You are a liability. You cannot stay here.”

“I do not understand,” Lee said, his words shaky and broken.

“It is not complicated: You will return to Konoha. I am releasing you from my service.”

“I—but I swore to stay by your side. I swore to always—you accepted me! Why would you do this?”

“Because I have no other choice.”

Lee was silent save for the heavy breathing that seemed to fill Gaara’s ears, making them ring. He had prepared for Lee to fight him on this, he had known Lee would want answers, but he had not been ready for the obstacle his own feelings created.

“Do you not trust me anymore?”

Gaara turned enough to glance at Lee over his shoulder. Lee’s expression was crumpled, his eyes wet and his lip trembling. In that moment, Gaara understood the power he had over Lee: the power to break him by words alone. He had never known that power and he never wanted to again.

“Kazekage-sama?” Lee asked desperately when the silence went on for too long.

Gaara’s vision swam for a second and he turned away. “With my life. That is the problem.”

“But why? What have I done? Why would you send me back?”

“Because the council does not trust you and my trust in you gives them reason to doubt me.”

Lee faltered, the words he’d been about to speak dying on a choked back sound, as though he were trying to keep from crying. Gaara could not stand to look at him anymore. “This is… temporary, right? Until they see, until you convince them—”

“No, Lee,” Gaara said, his knuckles white against the windowsill. “You will return to Konoha permanently. We are done.”

“N-no, I cannot accept that!” Lee cried suddenly. “Y-you cannot just send me back—I—you are everything to me. I have given my life to protect you—”

“Then honour your promise and leave,” Gaara said harshly, turning to stare at Lee. “If you wish to protect my life, then protect my title as Kazekage and leave Suna.”

Lee reeled, lowering his head. “I did not mean to speak so forcefully, Kazekage—”

“I am not your Kazekage. You are no longer bound to me.”

Lee closed his eyes tight, his hands in fists at his side that shook with the effort Lee exerted to hold his tongue. He took in a shaky breath, his eyes on Gaara’s feet. “I will a-always be bound to you, Kazekage-sama. Even if I leave…”

“You are a fool to think that,” Gaara said. “When you return to Konoha, in time you will forget your loyalties to me.”

“Forgive me, but you are wrong,” Lee said passionately, looking up at Gaara, his eyes hard and wet. “I will never forget this bond.”

Gaara stared, wide-eyed at Lee. “Why are you so determined to stay with me?”

Lee looked away, hiding his gaze. “Because you are important to me. Why should I waver in my affections for you? Why should I deny my loyalties when they mean so much?”

Gaara had no answer, but Lee’s words would not change their situation, no matter how much they both wanted them to.

“You will go back to Konoha. This matter is no longer up for debate.”

Lee closed his eyes, his face still turned away. “…as you wish, Kazekage-sama.”

“Don’t—”

Lee bowed and turned, leaving before Gaara could say more, the door clicking gently closed behind Lee. Gaara let out a shaky breath, sitting back down at his desk and pulling his official statement to the council towards him.

Rock Lee will return to Konoha…

The words blurred for a moment and Gaara blinked several times before his vision cleared, the report now stained with several drops that smudged the ink. Gaara set his brush down, staring at the report, only distantly aware of the wetness on his face and the ache in his chest.

I would definitely want to edit this before actually posting. I don't really like how choppy it is from that very first extremely brief scene which is just the like obvious tail end of a council meeting, and i think the actual pros are just… not great. i can def do better. but this is like the main obstacle of the fic and well I'm sure you can guess who these liaisons are between based on that lol

Idk why but I love imagining splinter and draxum fighting to be (y/n)’s favourite dad. You have Draxum giving the reader the best lunches at school , you have Splinter telling the reader his stories before he came a mutant( don’t forget about the gaslighting). Gosh imagine if Big mama wanted to get involved , to be the best mama for her little spiderling even if she had to manipulate, it be so chaotic XD

mann this has been in my drafts for so long-

that thing about draxum giving (y/n) the best lunches is a big yes. he’ll give them a whole three course meal that takes account into their preferences, pickiness, allergies, overall tastes, just the best lunch they’ve ever laid their eyes on. and then the next person walks up and just gets a pile of goop, chunks floating around in the unnaturally colored soup, and did something just move inside of it?

also if (y/n) is being bullied he sneaks stuff into their bully’s food that makes them have to skip school for a week but shhh-

he totally lets (y/n) skip the entire line so that their food doesn’t get cold. also lets them skip classes to hang out with him in the kitchen. don’t worry, if the teachers or principal try to confront them, he’ll say he asked them for help preparing lunch, and if they keep pestering him, he’ll just throw their cars into a lake. no biggie.

splinter loves telling (y/n) about his past, going into detail about all the amazing roles he played and all the opponents he took down (though a few stories might be a bit exaggerated in his favor) while also trash talking draxum and big mama like- yeah, draxum’s a genocidal maniac and big mama’s a sadistic psycho, surely you want nothing to do with them, right?

lol big mama just kidnaps them. no use in dancing around the topic, if big mama wants (y/n), she can get it. don’t they see? unlike those two, big mama has the money and resources to absolutely spoil them! all they have to do is let her pamper them, never leave her side, completely forget about draxum and splinter, and anything you could ever want would be in the palm of their hands!

this is probably the one and only situation- other than the world literally ending- draxum and splinter would work together.

Be neat if amber lead is one of those illnesses that once you get it youll never get it again, (like chickenpox) ((kinda)). It was just the amber lead is so deadly no one really survived to test that till now.

So now luffy is also a carrier of the disease and while its probably fine because the strain is so weak the it would require repeated frequent exposure to really infect someone and law could still cure them.

Luffy and law are now stuck together just a bit cuase well, now you two cant really kiss anyone else less you want to accidentally risk killing them

Luffy not being able to eat Law’s food, and grumbling everytime time Law lost his appetite and threw it out instead of eating it. Picky eater meets a bottomless stomach kind of deal, so now anything Law doesn’t like/won’t eat he just puts it on Luffy’s plate.

Almost everyone one thinks thats its Luffy who is stuck with Law on the heart pirates ship until he gets used to being contagious, but really Luffy just sees this as another adventure and Law is the one who is trying to keep up with Luffy’s endless energy even though the white lead did a number on his lungs, and he needs rest. Luffy don’t care. He’s zipping around like nothing happened, gets tired then he might use a gear to keep going. Making Luffy take it slow and relax is not gonna happen. Law getting stronger just by extension, and figuring out new ways to deal with the side-effects of the white lead.

They are pirates, and polyamory and open relationships with communication are a standard. Law feels a little guilty that Luffy can’t take other partners without alot of semantics to figure out, which Luffy is probably not gonna bother to take the time with if its a spur of the moment thing. While also Luffy would want to keep others safe, so he is just not going to get involved. Luffy just shrugs, “I got you and adventure, why the heck do I need more?”

Law is a mess for a week after that statement. Monogamy in their life style on the sea? Who would have thought? Though its not really that, Luffy knows what he likes, and trying new things is fun, but he was never that interested in kissing anyone until meeting Traffy, and despite his pouting he doesn’t initiate much of that unless its just the two of them and the mood strikes him. Law is more likely to initiate, leading with little touches. (I headcanon Law is way more horny then Luffy, and while Luffy hugs everyone, Law’s touches are reserved little things when he is walking by, a peck on the cheek, a touch on the back, etcetra.)

So yeah, Luffy doesn’t think he is stuck with Law, and its like a getaway where the two of them can cause some chaos, and hang out in a way they havent since before Punk Hazard on the island.

Bet it makes big headlines when the two of them teamup but not for any big reason like taking down Doflamingo or Kaido. The world is terrified of what they will do, especially if it comes out that Monkey D. Luffy has the contagious white lead disease lol. Meanwhile they are just going on dates, and maybe throwing a banquet here and there after freeing some island thats been going through some shit XD

Hi,I found your old post about Disney Princesses and wanted to give you my thoughts - choosing the most ticklish one is hard! Belle and Jasmine are both up there, sheltered people who are so much more ticklish than they thought (plus Jasmine's outfit exposes two of her worst spots). Ariel's feet and legs are the worst of all the princesses (an unfortunate side effect of transformation), and Tiana gets tickled out of overworking herself all the time. They're all super ticklish, though!

First of all, thanks! I was honestly hoping to get a lot more responses on that post than I did. Haha The Disney Princess characters are somehow both overused and overlooked at the same time, but they're perfect for tickle content.

I'm surprised by your placement of Belle; I actually would've guessed that she's one of the less-ticklish ones! Not that Belle isn't great, and the "sheltered" aspect totally makes sense. It's just that, as Disney princesses go, she was always one of the more mature and emotionally-reserved. I'm picturing someone who kind of yelps and gets frustrated & snippy if someone tickles them, rather than collapsing into giggles or laughing really hard.

I think everybody's in agreement about how ticklish Ariel's lower extremities are; she literally never had them until her late teens and the sensation would be totally unfamiliar to her. It's logic! A+ for the thoughts on Jasmine and Tiana too.

But yes, agreed - differentiating so much between these girls is kinda needless. Why be picky? They're all super ticklish! XD

Uhhh...so, you basically just wrote my favorite headcanon setup out of nowhere like that. XDDD Those two, joining forces, making it their personal mission to tickle everyone else as much as possible? It's perfect. (Also I would pay so much money to see an Anna/Rapunzel vs Moana/Merida tickle battle.)

YES. YOU'RE RIGHT. One of Rapunzel's most endearing traits is her curiosity (being locked in a room for 18 years will do that to you). And I love the scene in Tangled where her feet touch the grass for the first time, and she's just enraptured with this new thing she's never felt before; of course she'd want to experience that again! And until she met Flynn, she never even touched another human being besides Gothel, so it's absolutely believable that Rapunzel would be excited by the concept of tickling and want to try it out with other princesses. Whoever you are, anon, you're a genius.

They're kind of loophole Disney princesses...including them is cheating a little...but I also think Anastasia and Crysta from FernGully might like tickling too. Maybe not as much as the aforementioned pair, but they've got that spunky down-to-earth energy that would make them really fun 'lers.

Anybody reading this: any particular matchups you'd like to see? Who's your favorite (official or unofficial) Disney princess, and what are your tickle thoughts about them?
