god not to get into the discourse but like. we gotta discuss the dialectics of Getting Attention For Art. Two things can be true simultaneously.
1. it is TOTALLY NORMAL AND EXPECTED to really want people to give your art attention/notes/love/care. That is a deeply fulfilling and necessary part of the process of creating art.
2. You are not entitled to attention/notes/love/care just because the art exists, and you HAVE to find a way to drive yourself to keep creating in the absence of those things.
Maybe people aren't paying attention because your art is not good. Maybe they're not paying attention because your marketing is not good. Maybe it's just not the right timing Maybe it just got lost in the vast morass of internet content. The only way to fix these things is to persist in creation and improve in the process.
We can discuss the role of the audience in helping art thrive, but I think it's more useful to focus on your own contributions. Are you leaving detailed enthusiastic comments on everything you love? Are you reblogging with tags and commentary? Are you sharing the things you love? You cannot control the behavior of anyone but yourself. You can take your disapproval of art culture as a prompt for your own behavior, but it's pointless to resent Society for your art not doing well.
Wrt writing specifically, am certain you have all heard/read the stories of your favorite authors getting umpteen rejections by publishers before getting published. I feel like in some ways the system of traditional publishing allows for more ego-preservation. You can think "I KNOW people would love it if The Gatekeepers would give it a chance."
But now it's just out there on the internet and nobody's watching or reading it at all. Turns out maybe the gatekeepers were right about this one. And that's genuinely really difficult to deal with, it's something I struggle with frequently.
But oh my god. oh my god. listen to me. if you take anything away from this post. YOU CANNOT BULLY OR GUILT TRIP OR LOGIC PEOPLE INTO READING YOUR SHIT. It either hits or it doesn't. If you can't handle that, DON'T POST YOUR WORK.

I do not actually use tiktok but I do scroll through instagram reels (which are just reposted tiktoks) way too much for my own health, and I also occasionally use reddit, and I can't help but think that these platforms and the emphasis on building your "brand" or finding your niche are pushing people to attach way too much meaning to labels. "Can I like flowers as a butch" "you shouldn't wear yellow as a deep autumn" "what my sensory-seeking child ate today" "when you Find Your Style and realise your teenage outfits were hideous" STOP. People don't work like that.
There's two angles to this, I think: It's always really obvious when somebody found an audience by posting about a specific thing and now they're trying to retain that audience by talking about it as much as possible, so they end up relating every aspect of their lives to it even when it makes no sense if only so they can use the right hashtags; whereas on the other end of this interaction, people who mostly receive this kind of content get the impression that there are rigid and hard rules that dictate who gets to identify a certain way or engage in an activity or what a health condition looks like. Have you ever noticed how many shortform videos but also internet comments begin with a version of "As someone who..." as if it's some kind of certificate or qualification? There is such an emphasis on labelling and clearly defining your experience! And don't get me wrong, labels and diagnoses and community identification can be really useful, and there are conversations in which being upfront about your positionality is helpful and productive. But so many posts on the lesbian subreddit the app made me join when I made my account are along the lines of "can I still be a lesbian if x?" and "do femmes think y is attractive?" as if any of these things are monolithic, strictly defined fundamental conditions of the human soul! Even medical conditions don't work this way because every body is different! Open yourself up to the complexity of experience!

I spend most of my internet time on YouTube. It's a good website, I like video. But it's gotten demonstrably worse in the past five(?) years. I've posted about this a thousand times because it bothers me so much.
I am not sure exactly what the cause is, maybe changes in the algorithm or maybe better optimization by creators, but YouTubers by and large seems to have shifted from content to "content". Everything on the platform seems to have less substance. It's showier but completely vapid.
Actually it's not quite that, it's more specific. Today, every video has to have a narrative, it has to have suspense and payoff, even if that's completely shoehorned.
A good example of this is Minecraft videos. I don't actually watch a lot of Minecraft videos, but the change is really easy to demonstrate in this genre. The bread and butter of Minecraft YouTube used to be tutorials and let's plays. Tutorials are relatively brief but high information density; the point of a tutorial is to share knowledge with the audience. Let's plays are slower-paced and lower information density, they provide a kind of relaxing background entertainment similar to certain podcasts. The point is to chill out to them. Game Grumps is just about the only big channel still making let's plays of this form (not for Minecraft, just... at all).
Today, both tutorials and let's plays are second fiddle to the ubiquitous challenge video. Challenge videos are brief but low information density. They fundamentally have nothing to say. They have titles like "is it possible to farm 10,000 wheat in Minecraft in a month???", and the creator will attempt the challenge, cut together clips of their exploits in a rapid, high-intensity style, and generally try to craft these clips into a "suspenseful" narrative. They want us to ask "oh no, will he be able to do it????" But the narrative is always cheap and boring because it's so plainly post hoc. These videos provide none of the genuine emergent narrative or casual humor/banter of a good let's play, and none of the information of a tutorial. They're just faux-suspense, faux challenge, all the meat cut out and nothing but the trappings left over. Meaningless.
All of YouTube is like this now. Every video title has to have Big Number. "I dug 10,000 blocks in Minecraft!!!" "I spent 1000 dollars on vending machines in Japan!!!!" "I wore 50lbs leg weights!!!!"
SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP. Give me anything. It doesn't have to be art. Give me information, give me entertainment, give me humor. Give me something, anything, other than Big Number. I cannot express to you the degree I don't care about Big Number. I have never been curious about Big Number. FUCK OFF WITH BIG NUMBER. I don't care about challenges I don't care about Most and Best and Top and Biggest. How about New, Cool, Fun, or Charming? Anything but Most. My god, shut the fuck up about Most forever.
I'm a Most hater. Fuck Most for all eternity.

I love this jwcc/ct fandom. I really do.
But I also genuinely believe that we are free to give our opinions about the show - that's the beauty of fancommunity.
So it genuinely upsets me that when people voice out their opinions about certain characters or events or plot tools used in the show, there will always be someone who's like "as a X couple shipper, you have no voice/your opinion is invalid/your ship clouds your opinion".
First of all - this is a fictional show, people have the right to both ship /and/ interpret the show however they want.
Second of all - I know that it may be shocking but sometimes people can put their preference aside to focus on something else. One opinion doesn't necessarily influence another?
Third of all - there's no, I repeat, there's no reason for you to criticise someone who has made their own personal post about something, didn't tag you or didn't directly try to get a reaction out of you. some content is meant for specific audience and that's cool too, you don't have to respond to every single post.
Let people have fun if they don't harm anyone? Please chill.

integrating real space and digital space in gelboys
Tumblr media
one of my favorite things about gelboys is how it harnesses contemporary social media as a kind of semiotics—how meaning is coded and transmitted—that is rooted in the way young people socialize and perform rituals of courtship in both real space and digital space. for instance, how certain actions can signal interest or affection (making a shared playlist, adding someone to close friends), or keep a person at distance (leaving them on read, blocking obviously). or how moments and actions are simultaneously mutable (deleting a line message, changing a username) and preservable (taking a screenshot, saving a tiktok).
at the same time, gelboys excels at establishing vivid and specific physical locations to anchor the humanity of the characters and storylines. school, siam square, the nail shop, bedrooms, every detail even down to specific charging outlets. in real space, the camera can do its work through blocking, framing, lighting, movement, and the acting itself; this has been the focus of my cinematography posts.
but what makes this show so special to me—and, I think, a lot of others—is the way boss kuno and his team were able to transpose and integrate the semiotics of that digital world into the physical setting and action of the show through innovative visual storytelling. (the sound design was also tremendous, but that's harder to break down without the aid of video lol.)
Tumblr media
finding meaning beyond the screen
while the digital world offers these teenagers new modes of expression and interpretation, it is also very much a limited, often self-edited form of communication. first of all, a phone screen is only so big, and many video platforms encourage portrait view, so the narrow physical frame of the device itself can necessarily only show a subjective truth. in that way, the screen acts as a depository where the characters can store their fantasies of who they want to be and how they want the world to perceive them—fourmod playing around with chian's picture to mimic a kiss, bua filming take after take of a dance challenge. and it makes them performers of their own lives and voyeur-observers to each other's.
the show cleverly delineates that exact tension between text (i.e. the content being uploaded to social media) and context (everything that gets cut off in the wider view, or happens before or after the clip) in scenes like this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the crop overlay visually separates the imagined digital space from real space, so there's an additional layer of symbolism to be found in the context. chian and bua dancing together conveys one meaning for the viewers on tiktok and a separate meaning for fourmod, who is in the frame in real space but not digital space. here he is both the observer (the one filming) and an object affected by the act of observation (the emotional distance he feels as the scene progresses, which is emphasized by his positioning). the way gelboys builds and conveys these layers of meaning by visually integrating digital space into real space is such a treat.
sites of action in digital space
even if digital space is a non-physical entity, that doesn't mean it can't serve as a site of action, and gelboys deliberately stages crucial moments within that virtual realm: chian switching between bua and fourmod on his close friends list, baabin's confession and deleted messages, the zoom summit, to name a few. in fact, thinking back on the scenes that elicited some of the strongest visceral reactions across fandom, quite a few of them stemmed from actions that took place on social media rather than real space. here's a little thought exercise:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
is the action shot of fourmod panic-scraping his nails off more or less violent than watching him delete his shared playlist with baabin or create and post an AI video of faifa? (actually wow I might come back to fourmod re: this topic later lmao help) arguably, the audience recognizes the semiotics of those actions—deprioritizing baabin's friendship once he has chian's attention, intentionally doing something to make faifa hate him, not to mention the deepfake part of it—so even though all we're looking at in the exact moment of action is a mouse hovering over the "post" button or an app UI, we still feel as strong of an emotional impact as if fourmod had done something equally appalling in real space.
digital ephemera and memory
people tend to think of social media as a primarily transient mode of communication, and although much of it can be (ignore the data sitting in a physical server somewhere), gelboys shows its characters preserving—and erasing—a great deal of digital ephemera as a mode of memory.
three of the four gelboys are constantly creating collections of messages, photos, etc. (beyond what they post on their accounts) that serve as digital scrapbooks where their truest feelings are kept, and they do it in ways that reflect their individual characterizations. baabin takes screencaps of his conversations with fourmod and hides them away in a folder on his phone, while chian squirrels away his affection for fourmod on a secret account; in this, too, they are two sides to a coin. bua, meanwhile, stores his memories in the form of tiktok drafts—a sort of digital limbo. in his charging gel episode, his phone is running out of storage, an apt metaphor for needing to let go of his friendship with chian. baabin gives him the option of transferring them over instead, but it's unclear whether bua actually ends up doing that. in either case, the collection of ephemera is no longer in his possession.
Tumblr media
(fourmod is not really shown doing this—he tends to do the opposite, and is 1000% gonna get his own post about it)
so it's momentous when baabin deletes his entire fourmod folder, when chian airdrops fourmod his old photos and posts his apology as an IG highlight despite knowing he's blocked. like bua, baabin clears out his storage, removing the record of what he once felt for fourmod. and chian is no longer trying to keep his feelings to himself, but rather choosing to show fourmod his collected memories directly; he wants fourmod to remember as well. social media allows us to pick and choose which memories to keep and which to let go, and the emotional changes for three of the four gelboys can be easily tracked by these acts of preserving and discarding digital ephemera.
in gelboys, the importance placed on both real space and digital space, and the visual language used to merge the two, invites the audience to parse the story on multiple levels, but the reward for investing that energy is monumental. it feels like every time I think I've exhausted my thoughts on one topic, a few more pop up. anyway, thanks as always if you read all of this!

So naturally being the queer diva I am, I completely switched to .gay because it’s iconic <3
Also I am an adult so these fics usually are explicit or teen and up just because I like the explicit themes.
May vary from smexual content or just mature themes (violence ect…)
These fics are just what caught my eye first and just so happen to all be labelled explicit!
BUTTTTT if you want any fic recs such as “teen and up” or “all audiences” let me know as I’m open to anything!
My question box is also open so if you’re looking for fics with certain tags I’m happy to search and recommend! The fandoms I follow are:
Supernatural (destiel ship mainly)
DC universe (superbat mainly!)
Marvel (fluff for Spider-Man and tony stark - FATHER/SON, Bucky x Reader, stucky, x-men universe)
Teen Wolf!!! (Started off my account as this - specifically sterek but I do read Stydia sometimes too)
Arcane (Violyn mostly known as Caitvi😪)
I take recommendations too so if you find something you think I should read I’m all eyes and ears HAHA
I read all the fics I recommend too to know exactly what I am recommending!!! If you have made it this far reading Thankyou and I appreciate you ⭐️

perhaps a bit of an odd question: so, when I'm scrolling tumblr on mobile, I have a habit of downloading most images i come across, so that I can send them to people who don't use tumblr, especially memes and animal photos. however, i also have severe memory issues, and I may end up forgetting where i got certain images. i know for the photo repository one of the rules is to not repost the photos without any modification- which i might forget, or forget which images on my phone fall under that rule. and while i would guess that that rule doesn't apply to stuff like direct messages or texts, i might forget to tell the person I'm sending it to, who might repost it elsewhere without being aware, or months after downloading i will just forget and use one of the photos in a post I'm making because it felt relevant.
this is something i can pretty easily solve myself by just blocking the photo repository blog, or tags relating to it, but I'd rather not do that because i do really like seeing the photos and all the info and stuff. and i would assume it would be an insane amount of work for you to add something like a watermark to every single photo, so I'm not really sure how to go about this. i like seeing the photos, but i don't want to accidentally break the rules.
You clearly care deeply about doing the "right thing", so, what that tells me is that you're not actually the target audience for that rule. I appreciate all the thought you put into this message. Let's talk about it!
I've been reconsidering if requiring people to get permission for reposting images is the best policy to have and I'd like people to weigh in.
My original reasoning was this: the more I can ensure that reposts are affiliated with credit, the better I can control copyright on the images on the site, and therefore have more ground to challenge any scrapers/fake accounts/AR groups that yoink them for nefarious purposes. The easiest way to do that seemed to be to have people ping and ask, with the expectation of saying yes almost all the time.
But there's a couple problems with that, I think, in practice:
People don't like emailing strangers (I forget this! I have done it for work for so many years it isn't uncomfortable anymore).
This isn't how the internet works. (Tumblr has a specific microculture that encourages crediting creators and not stealing! Once this is shared more widely on other platforms, I don't expect it'll be the same ecosystem).
It actually undermines organic spread of content! (You're less likely to make an excited post about a cool photo if you have to send a maybe-scary email and wait for a response). And I do want there to be lots of eyeballs on the photos.
Realistically, @nexus-nebulae, with the policy right now? If you slipped up and reposted something without thinking, I'd just ask you to add credit to the post so it directs back to the site. The goal of this whole project is community access and engagement - I want to you to enjoy the photos, and send them to your friends! I'm just trying to also protect it from the awful that a lot of the internet has become.
But, I'm also wondering it it makes sense to swap the policy to say that it's fine to re-post images on socials as long as they're appropriately credited and/or linked back to the repository. This isn't the policy yet, but if you're reading this please tell me what you're thinking.
Non-edited image use (like putting them in a scientific paper, using them to build a curriculum unit, or putting them on board game cards - these are just random examples) would still need to be requested; but that's an entirely protective stance and if you ask, my goal is to always say yes.
So OP, please don't worry too much. Enjoy looking at the animals, do your best, and I'll be happy. :)

Just an hour
Tumblr media
I know it's been a long time since I posted anything, but I was left blank. I have one of Miguel for Christmas in draft, but it's already over. So I'll probably post something next christmas. This post is more for a more mature audience. And another thing, I have NO experience with what you're about to read. I've only read it, so please correct me if I'm wrong in the comments. Also, this text is going to be long. I will try to post more frecuently but not everyday or everyweek, from time to time.
Tumblr media
Warning: 18+ mdni content, slowburn (I think?), oral (fem receiving), fingering, penetrative sex, slight ansgt, sex with plot, unprotected sex, soft but a bit rough in the end, innapropriate vocabulary, biting, hair pulling, descriptive text.
Trope: Needy x Needy
Tumblr media
It's been hours, days, weeks and months that have passed without seeing Miguel. You missed him, but you still understood how difficult his job was. It required all of his attention, which made you wonder: how did both of you ever made it work before? But that didn't matter now as you were walking through the HQ to get to Miguel's office. Since a certain little bird, to not mention Lyla, told you that Miguel hasn't left his office for a while. He goes out on missions from time to time, but he's engrossed in a new project of his, which has him excited. The problem, as mentioned above, he is engrossed and has not left his office. And you, as his partner and companion, decided to go to him. He worries you, and why wouldn't he? You've been together for almost two years and are very close to each other.
After passing through the room where the anomalies were locked up, you go through the door and down the long hallway to his office, lab, lair, whatever that place was. Your footsteps echoed in the spacious place, you looked up, where that floating platform was: where you knew he was. You couldn't get up there on your own, so you cleared your throat once. When you didn't get a response, you called out to him. You managed to hear a sigh from him as the platform began to descend slowly (not to say too slowly). You crossed your arms and calmly waited until the platform was almost at ground level before walking forward and climbing onto it.
Miguel was turned towards you in his swivel chair, dark circles under his eyes (which were red from exhaustion) and his hair disheveled and untidy. "Where were you?" You asked him, looking at him with a serious expression. He sighed again and rubbed his eyes, his fingers on the bridge of his nose. "Sorry, I... I've been in my office. I know what you're going to say to me, and I'm sorry, but I have a reason why." He answered you, because he knew what you were like. You were a person who liked to receive logical, that made sense, and complete answers. You nodded at him to explain himself, which he did.
You listened to him talk about his new project with a certain enthusiasm in his voice. His eyes shining with that same enthusiasm and excitement of talking about something that fascinates him and loves to do. Even if you couldn't quite understand what he was talking about since it was a bit more... scientific, so to speak, you found the sparkle in his eyes as he spoke endearing. And because he loves eye contact, your gaze never left his. It was like a magnet, and you couldn't tear yourself away. Suddenly, his words blurred and you began to notice his physique (specifically his face).Oh, how you loved his lips, his eyes, his slicked-back curls, and everything about him. You missed him, more than you thought. You missed his hugs, his kisses, his smell, his perfume, his touch, his voice, caresses, calling him by the nickname you gave him, his hands, his back and when they were both intimate with each other. Your throat hoarse from screaming out his name when the two of you were alone in your room, giving yourselves to each other with so much love and... maybe a little roughness.
A snap of his fingers snaps you out of your trance. You blink a little and looked at him. "Are you listening to me?" he asked as he looked you straight in the eyes, realizing that you were spaced. "Uhm- I-" "That's a no." He was right, you weren't listening, only at first before spacing out. But mostly in how much you missed him in every way. He called you again and you looked at him again, ashamed of your not-so-pure thoughts.
""Do you need anything? Or did you come to visit me?" He asked. You looked at him and answered, "A little bird told me someone out there hasn't been out to touch grass in almost two weeks." You raised an eyebrow and looked at him nonchalantly. A 'Lyla' came out of his lips in an annoyed tone as he looked at his monitors. "It hasn't been that long, has it?" He asked you, his brow furrowed in confusion. "It's March 27th, Miguel. You haven't been out since Sunday the 16th of the same month." You answered in a firm voice, feeling a little sad when you realized how long you hadn't seen him. "Shit," Miguel cursed under his breath. "I'm sorry, I didn't realize-damn... I'm sorry but I can't pause this project right now." "Miguel, you've been working on this for two weeks, can't you at least take a break?" You pleaded with your eyes, his stubbornness frustrating you greatly. He said your name again and replied, "I know you're upset, but this project is very important-" "More important than me, apparently." You immediately felt guilty about your words but there was some truth in them. You noticed how Miguel's expression changed, and you felt worse. You wanted to cry, you missed him. He wasn't alone anymore; he had a partner now, and it was understandable that he had his responsibilities, but you were there too. You felt so abandoned, like I'd cast you aside. You didn't feel loved, and you're probably being dramatic, but that's how you felt right now.
"What?" Miguel asked, looking at you with a 'what the fuck?' expression. Your mouth had been faster than your head, your words had come out before you could stop them. "Sorry, sorry, I don't know why I said it, but you need to at least go outside. This is the second time, and believe me, I want to be patient and help you, but you're not helping either." You crossed arms again and now your brow was furrowed. Miguel had a look of surprise in his eyes, but then he returned to normal.
Miguel turns around and touches a button on his desk, causing the platform to rise again. You looked at him in confusion, and he moved for you to come closer. Once you did, he took your hand and kissed your knuckles in apology. He moves you forward until you're between his legs, looking down at him as he takes your hands and kisses your knuckles, the back of them, and your palms. Miguel wasn't known for being romantic, but he would at least try to show you how much he appreciated you.
His gentle touch makes your chest warm and tingle: butterflies in your stomach start having fun when you see him look up at you. "Lyla, lock the door." He commanded, he wanted a moment of privacy with you, an innocent act on his part. Miguel just wants to make up for the time he's lost with you, at least for a few minutes before duty calls. The sound of the heavy metal door closing catches your attention, scanning the entrance to see if it was really locked. Your gaze returns to Miguel, who looks at you with a certain vulnerability in his eyes and wraps his arm around you, moving you a little closer until your knees touch his swivel chair. You took the cue, and sat on his lap, straddling him as he wrapped his arms around you in a hug. He wasn't usually a caring person, but his actions speak louder than words, and he would be more than willing to give you the affection you need.
His head buries his face into your neck, inhaling your soft perfume and the faint scent of your shampoo, tightening his grip around you a little before pulling away with a smug expression on his face, making him look like a silly billy. You chuckle at his face while planting kisses on his face. He allows you snuggle up against him, letting you bury your face against his neck, inhaling his skin too, but he doesn't have a perfume like you, just the natural scent you missed so much. You pull away from his neck after a long moment with an expression that would make anyone think you were drugged, making him laugh slightly and tuck a piece of hair behind your ear to see your face better. Miguel puts his face back into your neck, planting a few kisses there that makes you squirm on his lap, his kisses tickling you.
"Miguel?" You called out to him, getting his attention and receiving a hum from him: sound that makes your intimacy tingle at his voice. "Can we go home?" "Porqué? (Why?)" Miguel looks at you once more, he didn't want to move and clearly couldn't leave his workplace yet. "It'll be more comfortable there." "More comfortable for what?" Then, there he sees it. That look in your eyes, your semi-dilated pupils, and that longing in your gaze. He knows what you're looking for and what you need. "Corazón, You know I can't just leave the lab like that." "Just one hour, one hour. I'm not asking for more." You pleaded with your eyes, not wanting to let him go: a thought that could be selfish depending on the point of view, but you couldn't let him go, not now. When Miguel sees the plea in your eyes, he decides to listen. He signals for you to stand up, and after you give him some space, he stands up too. "Lyla, you know what to do." "Yeah, yeah, have fun!" LYLA teased with a flirtatious and knowing look in her eyes as she waved goodbye.
Tumblr media
Once at his home, he picks you up in his arms without warning and carries you to the bed, placing you down with great care. Miguel kneels between your legs and uses his hands to support his weight. "Can I?" You nod, giving him permission to begin. You feel one of his cold hands rest on your waist as he leans his head to kiss your lips. His lips were a little dry but still soft and tasted the same. Your hands rise to his neck, playing with the curls at the nape of his neck. Then you felt his tongue brush against your bottom lip and you eagerly let it slide.
The kiss deepens even further as his tongue plays with yours, his forearm resting on the bed so he doesn't fall on you. Your hands run under the collar of his shirt, rubbing what you can reach of his back. You break the kiss, and Miguel carefully lifts your shirt to reveal your bra. You help him take off your shirt, and your hands go to the back of your bra to undo it.Miguel stops your hands and does it for you, unclasping it. Once your breasts are uncovered, Miguel begins to plant kisses on them, from the valley of your chest to your collarbone. His kisses continue to rise to your neck, one of his calloused hands rests on one of your breasts and squeezes gently, his thumb rolling your nipple. His knee separates your legs, his other hand massaging your thigh and giving it light squeezes.
You feel your heart pounding against your chest as he does this. His lips moving to your other nipple and plants another kiss there before gently sucking on it. His hands move from their positions and move to the waistband of your pants. His hands pull them down with your underwear, making you kind of desperate with how slow his movements are. You lift your hips to help him out, now laying fully bare and exposed to him. His head moves down as he plants a trail of kisses from your neck to your core: which is already damp. He kisses the mole on your inner thigh, gently spreading your legs: gaze focused at your glistening core. He looks up at you as if asking permission once again. "You know you don't have to ask." You curled your lips in a small mischiveous smile with a glint of desperation in it. "Still, I wouldn't want to do anything you're not okay with." "I know..." His lips press another kiss, but this time to your throbbing clit, lapping at your sweet slit. Your hands move instinctivily to his hair as he starts to gently suckle at your clit. "Miguel-" "Shh, I got you." He shushed you as his tongue finds your entrance, drinking as much of you as he can like he was starving slowly.
A few minutes later, he feels your walls flutter against his tongue, making him suckle on you harder. You feel that familiar tightness and tingle in your lower stomach, you would not be able to hold on any longer. "Miguel, Miguel, please-" You couldn't finish as a moan left your lips, your back arching. But out of nowhere, he pulls away, his lips glistening with your fluids (idk how to put it). You let out a whine when he just gives your intimacy one last kiss and then gets up. Miguel begins to unbuckle his belt and pulls down his pants along with his boxers, throwing them somewhere in the room.
You let out a yelp as he pulls you onto his lap, his back against the top of the bed and you on top of him. You felt his intimacy against yours, making you bite your lip. You slowly lift your hips, the tip of his cock slowly stretching you as you lower yourself onto him. With a sudden thrust upwards from him, his cock slides more inside you but not completly, drawing a low moan from you. His hands hold you steady, letting out a hiss as he feels how tight you are. He throws his head back, trying to compose himself but you just felt so good and he wasn't entirely in. You lifted your hips and fell onto him again, his cock completely inside you finally. He lets out a groan, his fangs visible through his lips, a sight that turns you on.
Once you're used to his size, you shift your hips back and forth, pressing against him to stimulate your clit. His hands move instinctivily to your hips, keeping you steady, a gasp leaving from his lips as your inner walls hug him just perfectly. He gently thrusts upwards again, meeting your hips, your nails digging into his forearms. "Dime... qué es lo que necesitas. (Tell me... what you need.)" "You... I need you..." You replied, your eyes rolling back at the feeling of his tip brushing against your sweet spot. "I'm yours... tell me your mine." He looks up at you with lustful eyes, his gaze dark due to his dilated pupils. "Yours... only yours- ah!-" Your sentence being cut off by a sudden hard thrust from him. "Now that's more like it." He smirked, his fangs visible through his lips once again before rolling you down onto your back with him on top of you. His hands rise your legs to his shoulders, letting you feel him deeper inside you, reaching that spot without effort.
"¿Así esta bien? (Is it okay like this?) " "Yeah... fuck, Miguel." You cursed, biting down onto your wrist so you wouldn't moan too loudly before his deep thrusts which began to pick up speed. He takes your wrist off your mouth, kissing your lips before whispering against them, "Don't do that, I want to hear you, yeah? Let me hear you." "But I-" Your reply was cut off again but another thrust mean to make you listen. "I don't care if you're loud, let me hear you. Let them hear." His face buries into your neck, giving it gentle nibbles and leaving some hickeys here and there. Your nails dig into his back, scratching his skin but he doesn't mind, enjoying the mix of pleasire with the sting of the injuries. You throw your head back, moaning loudly as he hits the spot again, his thumb rubbing circles at your clit, making you see stars. Both of you start to feel that sudden tightness, meaning that both of you were close: his rubs on your clit turning more desperate and giving it more pressure. "Come for me, let yourself go, I got you..." And with one last thrust, he spills himself inside you as you squirt around his cock, taking all the energy you had. His hips continue to move against yours to lengthen the process.
Once you both came down from your height, he carefully pulls out and lies down beside you, wrapping an arm around you. "Are you okay?" "Don't know if to say better than before or as if a truck had run over me." Both of you chuckle at that. He pulls you closer until your head rested on his chest. "Don't worry about the sheets, I'll change them later." "You better." You laughed as he poked your side at that. "Are you going back to work after this?" "Probably, but not now." Miguel turns his head to the clock beside his bed, noticing the time.* "Just an hour, you said." "Opps, my bad." Miguel huffs at that, giving your backside a light smack.* "Love you too, big guy." "Yeah, yeah, I love you too." His hand goes back to tickle you, making you squirm and let out a squeak. Your giggles resonating through his room as the lights slowly turn off.

I hope you like it. It wasn't good, I know but it's my first time writing this kind of stuff. If you guys have any advice or any idea that you would like to share to improve my posts and writing, I will thank you so much. And any prompt ideas would be great. Thank you for reading and have a nice day or night. ;3

Ivan & Till: When One Character's Inferiority Complex Meets Another's Superiority Complex
Heavily based on this post by @pwippy
To outline what's already been said in this post about Till's apparent tendency to view himself as "superior" to his peers: There's often a mindset that those who lack companionship will adopt to protect themselves from the idea that can come with loneliness that there's something wrong with them. This idea is best summed up as "I'm alone because I'm different. I'm better than them."
Till seems to have adopted this mindset. We know based on the ALNST comics with the Ivan and Till "Cheer up!" scene that Till is lonely. He has no friends. And when Ivan bluntly points this out to Till, Till lashes out hard, hitting Ivan and knocking him to the ground before storming away. Ivan's observation got to him. It did what Ivan is always trying to do; it got a rise out of him.
Tumblr media
To protect himself from fear (the fear that he only made it through Urak's experiments by chance, by sheer luck and not because he's better) and rejection (rejection from his peers, from Mizi, even an entire audience) Till has to convince himself in his head that there's a reason for all this. He's better off alone. He doesn't need anyone. Even Mizi, who he adores and admires, is kept at a distance. Till is never once upfront about his feelings. He can't take that sort of rejection, ESPECIALLY not from Mizi. He eliminates the chance of rejection altogether by simply watching her from afar rather than approaching her and really trying to be her friend.
Tumblr media
(Look at his cute little face I'm going to cry)
Even a crowd Till acts like he doesn't care about? Like he doesn't care what they think, like he's beyond caring? In Round 2, he didn't even give them a chance to reject him. He made sure they couldn't. He didn't even let his opponent sing.
Tumblr media
Ivan, on the other hand, doesn't seem all that concerned about rejection. Unlike Till's fear with Mizi, Ivan is all over Till and isn't deterred when Till reacts to his teasing with irritation. This doesn't mean Ivan isn't hurt by Till's rejections, specifically Till's last-minute decision not to run away with him, but this does mean Ivan is okay with being hurt again, and again, and again as long as he gets to be around Till.
Ivan's complete lack of care about his own mental state is the result of an inferiority complex. Ivan has absolutely no regard for his own wellbeing. He only cares about Till yet doesn't truly believe he's worthy of Till. I always find it interesting (and refreshing) that Ivan isn't jealous of Till's crush for capturing his attention. In fact, Ivan doesn't ever show signs of resenting Mizi at all. He treats her kindly and doesn't fixate on her in an unhealthy, envious way. They're friends despite the object of Ivan's affection being captivated by Mizi. While I love their dynamic and find it nice that Ivan isn't jealous of Mizi, jealousy is a natural human emotion, and Ivan's lack of it really tells me how little he thinks of himself. Why would he be jealous if he doesn't have a chance with Till in the first place? He'll content himself with existing in his orbit, thinking even this little piece of his attention is more than he deserves.
Tumblr media
Like Till, Ivan doesn't open himself up to the chance of connection with other children at Anakt Garden, although their reasons seem inherently different. While Till fears rejection, Ivan doesn't seem to even see a point. Till asks himself "What's the point?" in an attempt to convince himself he doesn't need friends, though he doesn't believe it. Ivan asks himself the same question and genuinely doesn't know the answer. No, Ivan is not invincible to being hurt or rejected. Maybe he's past fearing any such thing at a certain point because nobody knows who he really is anyway, not even Ivan himself. How can he be afraid of someone hurting him if they can't touch him? The one time he expresses himself genuinely with Till, he knows that he won't have to deal with the consequences. He won't have to deal with the hurt that comes with being open again.
Tumblr media
Having such radically different views of themselves, their relationships with others, and the world around them, it's no wonder Till and Ivan lack communication and understanding. As individuals, they have deeply complex psyches; Till keeps pushing people away, and Ivan keeps letting himself be pushed and then coming back around even though he already knows the result. He just doesn't see worth in anything in his life that isn't Till and this cycle. They both long for connection but don't know how to reach it. For them to come to an understanding, Ivan has to recognize his own worth (something Till uses as a defense mechanism) and Till has to open himself up to hurt (something Ivan does to an unhealthy degree).
They're identically opposite.

Because my audience has reached a certain size, since March 2025 I do not reblog things in argument unless it already has at least 50 notes to avoid dogpiling.
sissy male (she/her) I'm a trans woman who chooses to reclaim the words 'sissy' and 'male.' Regarding the latter, I consider the words 'male' and 'female' to be inherently a little charged and neither something you should use to refer to someone else without their consent, but if you absolutely must and in the absence of knowing for sure how they identify you should assume a trans woman is female because that is the preference of all but a vanishingly rare few such as myself. See here for a breakdown of my gender.
If you send me an ask, please don’t give details about hate crimes or IRL political developments of any kind. I also request that you not bring up paraphilia or AI discourse, and that I not be asked what I think of specific people unprompted. Other than that, feel free to discuss your experiences in my inbox. Because of how many I get, I have to be just a bit selective, but I try to answer at least most of them. I may answer immediately, I may answer in awhile, and I may be picky if a lot of people are sending in about one topic all at once. If I never get around to it, I read it and I appreciate that you sent in and wanted to share your thoughts with me. Thank you for being patient and understanding. <3
Sexual stuff is tagged #vexatious and nsfw reblogs are also tagged #nsfw. Discourse posts are tagged #discourse. My content warnings are all in the format of #cw [x]. I struggle with anger and posts where I’m outright furious are tagged #so angry about so many things.
Asks about the subject of kink are fine, but I prefer you have more to say about it than just that you have one so my inbox doesn't get too drowned with similar asks.

I post a lot about queer allyship, as an AMAB perisex trans woman, and I’m passionate about BDSM rights as well. I'm anachronistically displaced with the 2000s and that kinna aesthetic is a huge percentage of non-discourse you can expect to see here.
For several reasons I often use they/them for virtually everyone without really thinking about it. I assure you there's no malice involved and I ask that you please charitably assume good faith because it's something I have hard time with.

PIGLET'S BIG GAME - INTERVIEW WITH PASCAL CAMMISOTTO
Earlier this week I interviewed Pascal (game designer on Piglet's Big Game 2003) about the making of the title that has received a whirlwind of attention online recently. You can find more information in my video that's going up today on my channel: https://www.youtube.com/@eurothug4000/videos
How did the project come into existence?
At that time, Doki Denki studio was already working with Disney.
We had released three PlayStation 1 games with them. Disney was working on the film Piglet's Big Movie and was looking for a studio to develop the video game alongside it.
I don’t want to say anything inaccurate, but I believe it was, officially, our first PlayStation 2 game released on the market.
If the information I found online is correct, Piglet's Big Movie was released after Piglet's Big Game came out! Were you given any direction by Disney on what the game should be like and if it should be similar to the movie in any way? Or did you have complete freedom in designing the game (story, gameplay etc.) as you wish?
I’m not too sure anymore how everything came together, but I believe Disney didn’t give us access to the film's content.
They were very secretive (and I think that was quite common at the time). They just wanted a ‘product’ to accompany the movie release.
All we knew was that it revolved around Piglet. So the game’s story was developed by us (the game design team), as narrative designers didn’t exist back then.
We had a lot of freedom, both in writing and game design, and I think that was partly thanks to Disney's producer, Risa Cohen. She really supported our decisions in the interest of quality.
What do you specifically remember working on for the game? (Certain levels, overall gameplay loop etc.?)
I remember several things: the horror gameplay, which was completely new for this target audience; the hour of real-time cinematics that I directed with the animation team; the cameras in each room that I placed as best as I could to follow the action; and finally, the overly difficult combat (which I wanted to tone down, but wasn’t allowed to. ^^).
The atmosphere in the studio was fantastic, and I genuinely recall a sense of pride in what we were doing.
Yes, it was a kids’ game, and yes, sometimes it was cheesy, but we still had so much fun making it, as if we were making it for ourselves. It was truly a great project.
Do you remember what the reception was to the game at the time of its release?
Yes, the game was very well received. It was considered by reviewers to be a very good children’s game. At that time, many licensed games (especially those for kids) were rushed and uninspired.
That wasn’t our philosophy at the studio. We wanted to make a good game, even if the target audience was very young.
I think that’s why the game surprised people with its strong approach and quality.
Have you seen some of the posts about Piglet's Big Game recently? What was your reaction to seeing them if so?
Absolutely not. I just found out, and of course, I’m thrilled that it’s being talked about again!
People online are talking about the "horror" aspects of the game, were these intentional? Was the aim to have a game that had elements of the horror genre?
When Disney spoke with the studio about this game, Marc Albinet (the head of game design, my boss) immediately wanted to make ‘a Resident Evil for kids.’
I believe he even went to Disney to pitch the idea, and he must have been convincing because they said yes.
Since we didn’t have access to the movie’s script, we created a story centered around Piglet. It focused on his lack of self-confidence and the courage he would need to help his friends, who were asleep and trapped in a nightmare.
The horror element was tied to these nightmares that the player would need to resolve.
Are there any links or anything that you'd like me to mention so people can find you online, or any projects you're working on?
You can find me on X (@KaMiZoTo), but I rarely tweet. Since my time at Doki Denki, I've gained quite a bit of experience, and now I have my own studio:
http://drawmeapixel.com
We released in 2020 "There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension", which I recommend everyone try without watching any let’s plays to avoid spoilers! (The experience relies on surprise.)
We’re also working on a new secret project with the same meta spirit!
A big thank you to Pascal for taking the time to talk about the game!

Random Astrology Observations
Moon in the 1h is often talked about like 🥺🥺wears their heart on their sleeve🥹🥹uwu softie way but tbh Moon in 1h can make someone incredibly manipulative, they know just what to say and when to say it and know how to work their audience, this is perhaps why this placement is found in the charts of soooo many successful actors. ex: Leonardo DiCaprio, Audrey Hepburn, Henry Cavill, Charlie Chaplin, Priyanka Chopra, Antonio Banderas, Brendan Fraser, Benicio Del Toro, Jared Padelecki, Val Kilmer, Adrien Brody etc
I think this is a very manipulative placement, again manipulation is not in and of itself a bad thing, its what we use it for that matters. Some people completely lack the ability to manipulate at all (they don't have Moon influence)
2. Debilitated placements point to unconventional intelligence & wisdom in that area. I feel like they've cracked the code . They struggle a lot but when they triumph it's magic
3. I've mentioned this in other posts but many notorious sex offenders have Venus influence. Actions of this sort, as well as criticizing others' beauty, not taking care of yourself/surroundings, being shabby or disorderly in general are all things that harm your Venus. Abusing someone is the quickest way to ruin your Venus, you start corroding and that ugliness begins to manifest on the outside.
Ex: Harvey Weinstein looks like a cartoonish villain
4. As I explore the astrology content put out by others across different platforms, I've seen how the nature of the take themselves are so specific and unique to the person making them. Claire Nakti has a tendency imo to focus heavily on romance, sex and women's sexual behaviour and what sort of men they attract.
Going through her website, it's obvious that she's deeply immersed in occult & esoteric philosophy (all of which ties together with vedic astrology, philosophy, Buddhism etc because I truly believe that spiritual truths are universal and different schools of thought/religion/culture/mythology express these same truths in their own way with a LOT of recurring patterns) and Carl Jung as well.
It's studying Jung that helped me understand that what we see or draw from something is a reflection of who we are. As a beginner to vedic astrology, I initially believed Claire's one dimensional portrayal to be the all encompassing truth of a nakshatra until I started doing my own reading and research.
The things I talk about or the patterns I find are a reflection of me and I get a lot of asks about why I don't do xyz nak and honestly it's not as simple as doing research for an essay for uni, you kind of have to have a gnosis or innate knowing of its themes, something to base your search off of. And different naks call to me at different points. I come across content that describes certain naks in lights i could've never imagined which is to say that gnosis or inner knowing is an important aspect of studying anything esoteric, it kind of has to be revealed to you and what you see, what you can discern is a reflection of you.
5. you have to have a strong Rahu to discern patterns and similarities because Rahu is maya/illusion and a well-placed Rahu will allow you to see through those patterns/illusions. it will be very hard for someone without a strong Rahu to find similarities or common tropes, patterns, themes etc. Seeing through the veil or fog is Rahuvian.
6. Claire Nakti made a video about Venusian men where she said they were the ideal type of man and tbh that just confirmed my suspicion that she's Moon dominant because I think Moon dominant people are attracted to Venusians but in my humble opinion both Venusian men and Moon dominant men are some of the most batshit crazy people (manipulative and controlling at the least, psychopathic at worst) basically men who have a lot of Yin tend to be psychotic
7. I've noticed that Revati people tend to speak in a very verbose way. Nigella Lawson, Revati Moon is a really good example. Obviously other placements will also impact speech
8. Moon dominant people hate it when others share sob stories. They're the type to have the least amount of empathy for others and will either react in a neutral way or like they don't understand why you're saying this stuff at all. They're bored by other people's mundane problems and make it known as well. Not people you want to open up to.
My former friend was this way, I once cried in front of her and she showed zero emotion and didn't even try to comfort me lol
9. The way others treat us is the way we treat others. ik this is a basic take but karma is cause and effect. if you're dismissive of others feelings, other people will be dismissive of yours. what you do is what will be done unto you. Its so crazy to see how people who've been treated like shit by their friends will turn around and treat other people like shit. this is sooo basic but genuinely dont do anything to others that you dont want done to you.

「 INDEX + INTRODUCTION 」
Tumblr media
˚₊‧🔪WELCOME TO MY YANDERE BLOG! I mainly make content for my own original characters and occasionally, fandom related stuff. This blog is strictly 16+ and run by two people.
My name is Kiki (She/Her) and I am 18+. I’m the one that mainly provides the art and bots that you’ll find throughout this blog and sometimes, I write headcanons/imagines as well. My writer is Rose (She/Her, 18+) and she’s responsible for writing the fanfictions and some of the drabbles. To make it easy for you to know who's behind each post, you'll see either 'Mun Kiki', 'Mun Rose', or both credited in the tags.
We started this blog because we had numerous ideas for yandere characters. Given my background as an artist and Rose's talent as a writer, it seemed like a natural fit. I'm primarily creating this post to serve as a guide for navigating the blog. I've received numerous asks about accessing the characters' backgrounds, information, as well as questions regarding my bots, projects, commissions, socials, and other related topics. You can use this post as a reference FAQ or as a comprehensive guide to streamline your experience on the blog.
Find that you enjoy our work? Consider leaving a tip, it’s greatly appreciated and helps the blog. Also, if you’d like to be able to be more involved with our creative process and engage with the community, you can join our Discord server here.

╰┈➤ ASK RULES - OPEN!
✦ Absolutely no NSFW asks. This blog is 16+ for a reason, so obviously, we will be trashing asks related to sexual topics.
✦ We’re allowed not to answer certain asks. If you’ve been spamming the same ask and we haven’t responded to it for months, it’s most likely because we aren't comfortable doing so OR we’ve already answered an ask similar to yours.
✦ We will not be answering any asks regarding self-harm, eating disorders, extreme gore, noncon or any topics that could be associated with them.
✦ Finally, we kindly request your patience. We understand that it may take some time to address each individual ask, as we both have busy lives and there may be periods when we don't post asks for weeks. Please refrain from rushing us, and rest assured, we will eventually get to your ask.

If you've been following this account for some time, you're likely aware that I frequently share my character bots here. I've received numerous asks about which bots are available and where to find them online. While I plan to compile a list of my bots soon, for now, I'll provide links to both of my accounts for future reference.
It's worth noting that I'm currently on a temporary hiatus from Character AI due to site complications. Consequently, most of my recent bots can be found on Janitor AI, where I'm more active. Before visiting either site, please be aware that Janitor AI is intended for users aged 18 and above, whereas Character AI caters to a younger audience. In other words, minors stay off JanitorAI!

I've seen a couple of people do stuff like this, so I'm gonna take a stab at it. My thoughts on every character so far! (Long post, so the opinions are all under the cut)
Darumi
Tumblr media
She feels like an audience insert of sorts, with her immediate mention of death games and her outfit looking like something a stereotypical "2020 danganronpa cosplayer" would wear.
She's a bit unhinged from what we've so far, but she also seems like she'll be a lot of fun to watch on screen, and isn't that what's most important?
Definite and overwhelming red herring for something, however. Unsure for what yet, but she screams red herring to me.
Also, the fanart of her has been spectacular. Keep it up, lads.
Eito
Tumblr media
I'm sure we've all seen *the scene*, so there's that. If that's not out of context somehow and consensual, then- yay? Good for the yaoi fans.
I immediately liked him when I first saw his design, he just *looks* nice. I'd let him hold my drink at a party. I've read somewhere that he becomes Takumi's closest friend, and I dearly hope that that's true, because that means we get lots of Eito content.
I'm also unbelievably excited for that one ending where he inevitably goes off the deep end and does something absolutely horrific. There has to be one. Manifesting it. I love watching my favourite characters commit atrocities.
Gaku
Tumblr media
Can I just say how different he specifically looks in his two different outfits? I didn't even recognise him when his sprite of him in the uniform was revealed. His casual outfit is so silly, and his uniform looks the most like he's about to beat my ass. The gattling gun also helps, probably.
That aside, I don't feel that strongly about him. He's probably a nice enough guy, nothing else to say about him.
Hiruko
Tumblr media
She's actually drop dead gorgeous. One of the best casual outfits.
Moving on, I think she's the one who's the leader of the squadron? She seems to have experience with facing the enemies, and she's still alive, so I admire the heck out of her for it. She also has an axe that is bigger than her; you can have all the gattling guns or scythes or floating knives in the world, but nothing bests a good old-fashioned ginormous axe.
Ima
Tumblr media
Goofy face, what's he looking at me like that for?
This guy has a bit of a reputation, I know, but I'm choosing to have faith.
A sister complex is not inherently sexual or romantic (although it often is) and I find complicated and toxic family relationships in media quite interesting.
I am, however, almost entirely leaning on Uchikoshi here. Clover and Snake's sibling relationship was extremely well written, and I'm hoping that even if he does feel romantically inclined towards his sister, it's just as well written. I'm choosing hope.
Also, his weapon is phenomenal. I might need to make a weapons tierlist at some point.
Kako
Tumblr media
She's a cutiepie, and I haven't missed the fact that she and her brother have angel/devil symbolism with their weapons.
Apparently, the two of them are a bit younger than many of the other students, so that should be interesting- Takumi I know is 17/18. Apparently, they're still in Junior High, so 14/15? I wonder if there'll be any split because of the age groups?
I want nothing but the best for her and I hope she gets it. And doesn't die too many times.
Karua
Tumblr media
Likely the one this story revolves around, and one of the more mysterious characters.
I'm curious about her, but I don't really feel anything that strong about her. I am fairly certain that Takumi will tear apart reality itself for her, so she'll probably be a pretty nice character. And hopefully, NOT a twist villain.
Kurara
Tumblr media
Absolutely wild to have a masked character in a game that Uchikoshi is writing, I'm sure that has never happened before.
She's filthy rich and has a tomato for a head, I- really don't know what to say about her. Her weapon is hilarious to me, "rich girl above all rich girls" and has a shovel for a weapon. I respect the grind, at least.
I'm sure in true Zero Escape fashion, we'll unmask her in one timeline and use that information in another.
Kyoshika
Tumblr media
I genuinely have nothing to say about her- I learned she existed a couple days ago? Had never noticed her before, honestly.
She has a cool outfit in any case.
I just remembered there's a 10 image max on the app, so I'll continue this in a reblog

i think that certain parts of the community are starting to become more and more exclusionist. like im starting to see a lot more pro-lesboy spaces say "lesboy doesnt mean trans man/cis man! full men cant be lesboys!" or pro-mspec monospec spaces say "mspec monospec doesnt mean being both things for the same attraction! it means being mspec for sex/romance and monospec for the other!! no one is a romantic mspec AND monospec at the same time!" or just. Things like that.
i did not see this ask until now and am i glad you sent it
short answer: yes, agreed, it's petty queer infighting that doesn't need to be happening
so from what i've noticed is most of online queer discourse really at the end of the day is about what an individual person thinks that queer label isn't, and not what it is. people are very nihilistic right now, and really love to take everything in bad faith. we're seeing a rash of reactionary content in general where people take their knee jerk reaction as their stance on an entire complex concept that requires time to digest and process. like literally the most farfetched dogshit take you've ever seen because they just found out about a concept and bullshitted and answer.
certain people wanna think they're experts on queerness overnight because they just realized they're [xyz] or whatever other reason they want to be the expert on queerness. really what it is is people who want to tell other people what it is, but not listen. like it really just is people who want to say "this is how queerness works. shut up because i'm the only one who knows why. don't ask me for a reason". like it's about control. it's about people who have never done any research into queer history in any country on any continent, has not interacted with their local queer community who still want to have a captive audience about what queerness "really is". so instead of learning history and talking to other people they tell you how they feel and spin it as the truth.
other people just send the most bizarre angry posts, asks, DMs, whatever, about how they hate this 1 really specific kind of person that they've never actually met, but hypothetically they would hate. it's mind games. people get caught up in their own thoughts long enough to believe the hypothetical guy they made up isn't real. it's the strawman argument. i don't know what compels humans to do this but for whatever reason, people really love making up a fictional guy to get offended at. it's really bizarre. if cishet men wanted to identify as lesbians, they would literally already be doing it
if you know what logical fallacies are to some extend and have been around internet discussions in general for a long time, you start to recognize the patterns. it's a type of entitled attitude that leads a person to not be in a community for very long. it's a certain kind of person who gets a rise out of being a jackass. like i've tried to word that better. no. that's what it is. like people are aware of the fact that they're being a jackass and continue to do it anyway. people are getting a kick out of this. like. people are chasing the rush you get from fucking with someone. that's all it is. when people say "how can they be so cruel?" they're chasing a mental high that fades extremely quickly, so they have to keep doing it over, and over, and over.
it's like how do i put it. now that social media is so widespread, just about everyone has one on at least a few platforms at this point. people are being exposed to these conversations. and you're gonna have some complete noobs who come in thinking they can define lesbianism because they realized they were a lesbian yesterday and it's like. people will keep fighting the same tired old argument about how trans men can't be lesbians for the 9439030985th time and meanwhile they're ignoring the 50 trans male dykes interacting with one of their mutuals like i think it's literally dumb as hell that there are people on this website mentally abusing strangers on the internet because they refuse to crack open a book, read a zine or open a pdf and read the biographies of real world trans male lesbians, or even just read an article about one. like it's easier and more fun for them to pretend it's not happening it's wild as hell to me
anyway, yes. it's really stupid. people are getting caught up in all the wrong parts of what separates identities. it's the compulsion to draw lines in the sand that is forced upon us in our binary obsessed society. it is likely tied to black and white thinking, and catastrophizing, which both can happen when someone is stressed and looking at a situation in a maladaptive way, either due to perspective or neurotype. sometimes this legitimately can be due to someone's mental health, so it's not an excuse, but it's an explanation for why people get so riled up. those headspaces get you very heated and it's difficult to come down from. it requires a lot of time learning emotional coping skills to walk backwards from those types of episodes

I want to talk about something concerning jwcc/ct fandom here on tumblr; something that has been bugging me a bit for a while. And I know that some people think about it to... So I wanted to create a post to give people a chance to exchange their thoughts.
I want to say this at the beginning – if you are a member of jwcc/ct creative crew, please don't read below the cut. This post is not meant for you.
Because it is the crew that I want to talk about specifically. I will not be mentioning anyone specific, I more so want to talk about the "issue" generally, and I think that I have the full right to talk about it here – because this is fandomspace and grants me the freedom of talking about anything concerning the show.
A few days ago, I saw an ask on jwcc-confessions. Someone was expressing how sometimes they censor themselves because they don't want the crew to see their posts, read their thoughts, and I need to say - I've been feeling a bit similar for a while now.
Now, let me explain - I love the crew. I love how they reply to our asks, I love the additional content they provide, I love them to the bits! I am very grateful for how open they are about the process of creating a show, I am genuinely thankful for them!
However, I wish I wasn't as aware of their presence in the jwcc/ct tag, as I am now. Because sometimes I want to express my critique, but I hesitate because I don't want this to be taken personally. Sometimes I want to share my thoughts and visions, but don't want the crew to think that I am... Hating on their choices, you know? I want to talk about some stuff with fans, knowing that we have a freedom of speech.
Fandomspace is a curious place because us, fans, are deeply aware that when we discuss fan-stuff, they roughly fall into one of two categories:
1. Fandom-content - theories, thoughts, ideas, and opinions that we know are only possible within the fandom - these are usually loosely content to the canon.
2. Media-rooted content - closely related to the canon.
Instinctively, we understand this distinction. We are like "damn, I wish someone in the show died more brutally" and we understand that this stays within the fandomspace, because we understand the rules that canon plays by, you know what I mean? Us saying "we wish" or "we want" doesn't necessarily mean we demand it to happen in canon. And I feel like if someone is a fan, they usually understand this without a lengthy explanation.
And yes, perhaps the crew understands it too but it still... I don't want my opinions and desires to be interpreted as a critique that the show lacks this specific thing. My fan-posts are not hate-posts, is what I mean. They are always rooted in deep love and appreciation. And sometimes I feel like they may be taken as such. It makes me uncomfortable.
I want to talk about silly things - my interpretations, my critiques, my musings - without worrying that someone from the crew will see this and feel the need to explain certain plot points. Sometimes I like that some things are not overly explained by the show, it keeps me on the toes, it keeps me excited - even when I whine about that. Does it make sense?
Fandom is a place that fills in gaps that the show left, it is the space that falls under the reign of pure and unrestrained fan creation that sometimes is bonkers and it is meant to be like that. I want to share my interpretations with the fans but not necessarily with the crew standing behind the show - not because I don't like them, but because they are not the target audience...
I know that the conversation about the presence of the crew members within the fandom has recently gained some attention, and I feel like we have the right to talk about it here.
That being said - I am not tagging this post with "jwcc/ct", in fact I am not tagging it at all. You are free to reblog and reply but please do so without the tags. The message of this post is not to hate the crew (LOVE THEM TO THE BONES) but I would still prefer if they didn't see this.
Please don't tag them, please don't message them about this, please don't send them questions referring to this post. Let's keep this discussion within the fandom and between the fans. Because I want to have this conversation and learn y'all's opinions. Or at least get it out of my chest.
