which it feels wrong, at this point, to even call it beef when its mostly one sided on leo's part and the adults are failing both sunny and leo

does leo have the right to be wary about the new eggs? 100%, absolutely

does that excuse her recent treatment of sunny? no

is leo to blame for her behavior? well, no, she's a child

do i think q!foolish and q!tubbo are good fathers? yes

did they both drop the ball in regards to this situation and should have handled it better? yes, but that doesnt mean its not too late now

again, i dont fault leo for being distrustful and cautious of the new eggs, its more than reasonable given what shes gone through. im glad she's warmed up to pepito and i think it's a good choice on foolish's part to not force her to interact with anyone she doesnt like while still encouraging her to try. that being said, i think he should say something to leo about how she has recently been treating sunny because it is quickly getting to the point where it is bullying, not "beef"

to be fair, maybe he hasnt seen [in character/roleplay] the extent to which she has treated sunny, and obviously none of the parents are aware of the baby fight club, but even then, someone should say something to leo if they see behavior similar to how leo treated sunny after the fight [although i believe foolish and roier are two of the only people she will actually listen to /neu] with that being said, i dont think foolish takes it very seriously and at the end day has a rather "well what can you do" type of mentality about it.

we know that leo is stubborn and can be a little hard headed, which is one of the reasons why i personally love her, but its been toeing the line in regards to sunny and i feel as though she crossed it during the baby fight club. sunny has been trying to take leo's feelings into consideration [among other eggs, such as tallulah, who excuse it as distrust of the new eggs despite being warm/neutral to both em and pepito while being harsher to sunny].

the fact that the fight ended and sunny was trying to leave when leo blocked the exit and continued to hit sunny shows that her feelings towards sunny are more than just apprehension. even ramon, leo's triplet, felt the need to step to in and separate them out of concern for sunny's well being.

i can also see the nuance of leo's behavior: its the first time where she has disliked someone and been forced to be in close vicinity/interact with them, and no one has taught her that this sort of behavior isnt ok so how is she supposed to know better?

its not an excuse by any means, but it doesnt make it any less bullying than it is. this is where the adults are failing not just sunny [by being bystanders] but theyre failing leo, too.

and sure, disagreements and fights between the eggs is interesting.. when it comes from both parties but when you have one egg--one child--who doesnt want to be around another egg child in consideration of their feelings while the other egg child vandalizes their things and hits them to the point of almost being downed--that's not a disagreement. thats bullying.

does leo have to like sunny? no

do i think that they have more in common and similar feelings of loneliness that they both dont realize, which could make way for a friendship? yes

would i mind if leo never warms up to sunny? no

its realistic. sometimes kids just.. dont get along and thats ok, its good to teach children that we arent going to get along with everyone or even like them [and not everyone is going to like us and we shouldnt try to force them to], but its also important to teach children that not liking somebody doesnt make it okay to treat them poorly or bully them.

in fact, this would be a really good situation in which both leo and sunny can learn the aforementioned, especially since their fathers are good friends that enjoy one another's company so i dont see them stopping hangouts anytime soon so leo and sunny will hopefully learn to, at the very least, be civil with one another. i hope this is the direction the story goes because a bully arc is one of the last things i personally want to watch

i understand its hard, especially when their first languages are not one that they share, but thats what the qsmp is all about, isnt it? coming together in spite of language barriers

im hoping the sunny/leo situation takes a turn for the better, even if it takes time to get to a point where they are mostly indifferent to one another w/o excessive antagonizing

I'm gonna be honest and say I read your question and your thoughts yesterday already. But it is an odd situation, so I had to really look into it.

Let's start at the finish, yes indeed 4th house Synastry, but it's Pisces!! It's like secret enemies. I also feel there is a lot of jealousy in the connection due to Scorpio over the 12th house. And Pluto in the 1st overlays. I just think she is insecure. There is sometimes that intimidates her and she almost "tries to prove herself". But it's like not even that...

So I feel you can't really control her behaviour, but what you can do is limit YOURSELF from these kind of interactions or distance yourself away from this kind of behaviour. You can't do anything about her behaviour. But you can eliminate yourself from hanging and interacting with her. definitely opens up a lot of rabbit holes. ill give my opinion, but note im not the most educated on the subject itself so giving a definite answer is outside my scope.

ill put a read below, but for me, i personally think it isnt, but can be easily misinterpreted as is on a surface level.

tldr, ableism is discrimination towards those with disabilities.

the character in question most of the time when it comes to these topics is tougou, who uses a wheelchair in season 1 due to losing function in her legs. there are never any distasteful jokes made about this, and the show constantly shows various handicap friendly services throughout the show. something even more surprising is that these are never the core focus of the scene or pointed out, its always well integrated into the world as if it were normal (important).

just skimming through s1, we have:

wheelchair assistance integration for both cars and stairs

special swim courses for the disabled, not separated from the rest of the class

beach wheelchairs and separate assistants

now while we can assume a lot of these were due to her previous service as washio sumi, i dont think that would really be fair to the production team putting these in, and it really feels like theres a lot more heart than "yeah we put these for the big shock value realization later on". even after regaining function in her legs near the end of the season, tougou's priority was always towards yuuna and her recovery.

onto the next topic, which is the show taking away and then returning these characters functions throughout. whats important to consider here is what is considered tragic, is it the characters living without these certain functions, or is it the act of losing these functions themselves?

"It'll definitely improve. I mean, we haven't done anything wrong." (Fuu, s1ep9) again, no distasteful jokes made about their disabilities, and fuu even plays it off with her sick eyepatch. her worries instead stem from the loss of itsuki's dream, in the form of her no longer being able to sing. thats the key factor here, being punished for doing what is right, losing the ability to do what you could do before, losing the memories of the time you spent with your friends. (thats another thing i see with a lot of these arguments, they always bring up physical disabilities, but ive never seen one actually talk about ones regarding memory, arguably the most precious thing to them). tougou flat out doesnt remember sonoko at all despite being comrades in arms before, and understandably freaks out that the same might happen with her and yuuna.

now, understandably, the ending to s1 seemed super rushed, and them getting their bodily functions back seemed rather sudden. this put a lot of people off, and was really only explained in s2, which many didnt watch.

people should be allowed to grieve if they lose something important to them, and should be allowed to be happy if they get it back. personally, i dont think people realize the weight of their words when they say, "oh i wish karin wouldve stayed deaf, itd be really cool to see the club members learning sign language for it" or "yuuna in a wheelchair was really cute, i wish we saw more of it." yeah its a cool idea i guess, maybe something to see while theyre stil recovering, but forever? in a chase to see more representation, i hope they realize what they are wishing onto others eventually (even if fictional). while many with disabilities are satisfied with their life, they should be able to wish for better if they wanted to, its not like theyd wish their circumstances on anyone else, right? shouldnt the same apply here, to the girls who've actually lived both with and without disabilities?

On the topic of OFA, I'm kind of upset that we never got any scenes of Izuku experimenting with his quirk to see if there're other ways to fight with it.

For example, there's a character in DBZ called Future Trunks who fights with a sword. He outputs Ki into it to make it into a valuable weapon to fight his enemies with.

We could've gotten a scene of Izuku using OFA to give different weapons more power and decrease the stress on his limbs. We could've gotten scenes of Izuku using a sword, a club, bow and arrows, a fucking gun with taser bullets!

Thinking about this makes me think Hori has a limited imagination.

First off, the pacing of mha is abysmall. It has been a year but I feel it is at most a month. A month were everyone dogpille Izu for existing.

Izu analysing quirks is seen a a gag and smth "spooky" Ochako, the worst love interest I ever seen, looks at him as if she fears for her life as Izu is murmoring and analysing quirks in Sports Festival.

(Which btw the name Sports is a lie)

I also think ofa is not powerful at all. Its a rare quirk sure but never had a chance to shine or be a rival to afo. Afo himself admits he never needed the quirk, he wanted his bro back. (MF failed 8 times by following the same plan over and over)

Izu's progress with his quirk is ignored or ridiculed...for no reason.

I’ve written up a super detailed guide for this very thing for another anon in the past but tumblr ATE IT I can’t find it at all😭 soo I’ll try to do the same for u—that means it’ll b VERY long so i apologize in advance.

Also to any of my mutuals or followers or whoever have experience with ketamine and want to add any advice I haven’t covered please please do so in the replies!!!

1. Acquire ketamine from as trusted a source as possible. if u can get literal (and legit) medical vials that’d be the ideal but for most ppl that’s not a realistic option. so (I assume, since I do not know ur situation) you will probably be getting it in crystal/rock form or crushed up crystal form (it should look like very sparkly pure white powder when crushed up). PLEASE buy fentanyl test trips from dancesafe.org and follow the instructions that come with them to test your ketamine. This step is IMPERATIVE as in life or death. it’ll mean youll have to turn ur ketamine to liquid with water in order to test the entire amount of ketamine for fentanyl and fent analogues. to turn it back into crystal to snort, literally just pour the liquid in a large glass pan or pie dish, and let it evaporate. If ur impatient u can use a hairdryer on it or cook it in the oven on the lowest oven setting (while it’s in the glass pan ofc) and monitor it the whole time, until it is hardened back into crystal. It shouldn’t be gooey at all but should also not be any color other than pure white.

2. Go to erowid.com and go to the ketamine vault and read everything in the basics, effects, health, and dose links .Erowids the best resource. . Here’s some pics of the dose guides, durations, and expected effects. These dosage recommendations are accurate and I highly recommend going by them when you first start. After you do ketamine a few times you’ll get the hang of it without rly needing to measure so precisely .

Some of those negative effects aren’t even negative, but some sound scary I know but the scary ones are honestly really rare, and happen when people do like a ton of ketamine at a club and hole by accident, or mix ketamine with a bunch of drugs or otherwise take it irresponsibly. If you follow my recommendations and the recommendations on erowid, you shouldnt have anything to fear. Ketamine isn’t scary - because it’s a dissociative and the *most gentle disso ever* it detaches you from a lot of negative emotions.

3. Take ketamine on an empty stomach. Don’t eat anything for like an hour before. Eating too soon before can make you very nauseous and throw up. You may also just throw up anyway - it just happens sometimes, depending on your body’s sensitivity to that, the ketamine that you acquired, and, especially, if you’re doing too much of it too quickly. So don’t do too much too quickly lol!

4. For your first time (this is a MUST) and the first few times until you get the hang of the dosing —it’s an extremely dose dependent drug (very diff effects at diff doses) — do NOT do ketamine anywhere but in your home (or friends home). Do not do it at a club, concert, festival, party, or in public. I strongly recommend doing it lying down on a couch or bed, with mood lighting, cozy atmosphere. and with high card season 2 over, i think... if they wanted to just end the series here i think that would be fine. i'm sure they could put together a season 3+ but its kinda like with high seas (the telenovela on netflix) where i watched the first two seasons, was satisfied with how it ended, and refused to watch the stuff that came after when it released.

in terms of character growth, i did feel like we got to see more of the high card dynamic this season which would be about the only thing i'd like to see expanded upon in the future since season 1 was so incredibly lacking. i really appreciated wendy's episode in particular with chloe and chelsea (and they're little cameo at the end there!) just giving them and us some time away from the main plot to have a road trip that. well it ends with fighting the 8 of clubs but semantics etc. definitely was a highlight of this season.

STILL NO VIJAY EPISODE THOUGH BOOOOOO he really needs one and all the little bits we saw of him were so. he's so poorly developed compared to the other high card members including wendy and leo. i loved that he made the flower sprout for the little girls in the final episode to calm them down (and the little comment about him being an "old man" as if he isnt like 27) and the little things throughout the season with leo. give him more screentime gdi!

and finally, finn and chris' relationship. i like that what was established in season 1 was more fully realized, especially with the reveal of finn's brother (why is his name flann. girl. that's not a real name) and how chris being finn's "new" older brother (i dont like to use that but like. found family? he's very much a mentor and protective over finn much like a brother is) and how that caused conflict with flann towards the end, wanting to kill chris to make finn love him again, when finn never stopped loving him to begin with...

they definitely had moments that were like. why are we doing this in this way but it was still at least an enjoyable watch. would recommend if you dont care toooooo much about semantics of things and just want to have a fun time because that's really what it is.

oh while i'm thinking about it, the idea that high card is on the side of justice is the other thing i'd want to explore in a third season. i'm very much on the side of maybe the cards shouldn't be controlled by one person but also making them mysterious things that the public doesnt know about is kinda bad. the superhero guy with the queen of diamonds (i think?) who was using his card to help people had the right idea i think and could have just been left alone. i want the high card members to wrestle more with that idea that cards shouldnt be used for personal gain because they're kind of at a "rules for thee but not for me" stage if that makes sense? they've broken that rule before but are still upholding it but maybe it shouldn't be a rule at all and all 52 players (or 51 if they want to lock san galgano up because uh. that one is at least understandable to not be allowed to roam free again) should be able to use their cards how they want (within the like. don't hurt anyone clause).

i had the biggest argument with my parents today. i felt like i couldnt breathe. my nose was runny, my hands were going numb. my face all red. tears kept streaming. ive made a deal with my parents, i can do independent study as long as i find a social relation to go to. whether it be a job, college clases, internships, or clubs/meets of anything. i shouldnt be cooped up i agree but idk how long ill last this time. i really want to do well but im scared. what if im stuck in place like before, i cant move forward. i have 1 month to find something. idk what to look into, im going to give it some thought these next few days but the problem is that theres not much to go through with in my area, we have very little to offer. i might aim for a job bc i need the money anyways or idk if would be easier to do an internship if theres any around here. its already hard to get a job around here as well. i was thinking of doing dance as well but i dont think i want to go to a studio id rather learn on my own. could i get some feedback? i dont know what to do now. my mom is extremely disappointed in me saying that i have no future and am going to end up like her, and my father is worried about me. i also broke my fast today. i hate myself for it. i had chicken tinola my mom made and kinda like a champorado afterwards even tho this was after our argument and im not usually into eating food other then what i make myself i really was wanting it. i regretted it afterwards and will continue with my fast going onward, my mom will be busy and most likely not cook at least the rest of this week, i should be fine afterwards. but please help me..
