THIS HEADCANON POST COVERS THE ENTIRETY OF THE TIME WAR. Every plot, thread, prompt, and discussion has been carefully notated and constructed into this COMPREHENSIVE TIMELINE POST to help MUTUALS (New & Old) understand the ENTIRE scope of The Time War and its effects on the world as a whole. ALL OF IT IS MIXED CANON / DIVERGENT CANON constructed by myself, and it is housed within my OWN UNBOUND TIMELINE (the canon of this blog).

This is the culmination of not just myself, but EVERY roleplay Partner who's ever asked to plot this era of my blog's timeline with me. It incorporates every single idea we've all collectively discussed into one comprehensive timeline.

THE TIME WAR IS AFFILIATED WITH MUSES BELONGING TO @kemikorosu & @lunaetis. At the moment, this list may be SUBJECT TO CHANGE depending on how many mains and mutuals start getting involved in the TIME WAR. TO AVOID UPSETTING ANYONE, or PUTTING THE LONGEST POST KNOWN TO MAN ON DASH, the TIME WAR is going to be slid under a READ MORE.

TRIGGER WARNING: The Time War is Dark, too dark to list all the triggers off- so it's considered TYPICAL WAR ANGST. You have been warned.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

The Time War is a war across space and time that is fought between two races; The Daleks & The Timelords. In one Corner, The Daleks are the mutated remains of THE KALED PEOPLE, who now survive by living in battle tanks. They believe they are the totally genetically superior species in the universe, and make it their life's purpose to conquest and enslave The Universe. In the other corner, The Timelords- A race of omnipotent gods that mastered the use of Time Travel and are practically immortal. Sworn to never interfere, they only watch.

When THE TIMELORDS foresaw a point in time where The Daleks would become TOTALLY unchallenged across The Timeline, they sent The Fourth Doctor back in time to try and avert their creation or delay their growth. While he didn't technically SUCCEED in this mission, he didn't technically FAIL- either... however, this was essentially the spark that lit the fuse within The War.

FROM THAT POINT ONWARD, The Daleks would begin mastering Time & Space Travel, naming THE DOCTOR their greatest enemy, and swearing to totally take over and control Gallifrey...

THE BUILD-UP.

THIS IS A DIVERGENT TIMELINE. The Source of The Divergence came at the end of the SEVENTH DOCTOR's life, when he was killed SHORTLY before The Enemy Within (The 1996 TV Movie) but not until AFTER Survival (The Final Episode before Doctor Who's a cancellation in 1989.) The Alternate Eighth Doctor, otherwise known as THE SCARF DOCTOR- is the beginning of a DIVERGENT TIMELINE.

In The Doctor's SEVENTH INCARNATION- He encountered The Daleks (Episode: Remembrance of The Daleks) having a civil war on Earth and battling for a Timelord weapon known as THE HAND OF OMEGA, the device used to forge THE EYE OF HARMONY and make Time Travel possible. Due to The Doctor's meddling, the Daleks were tricked into destroying SKARO's OWN Sun... which expanded and engulfed the planet.

IT WOULD TAKE THE DALEKS A LONG TIME to find a new home planet, which they would dub a NEW SKARO. However, Skaro's destruction marked the END of The Dalek Civil War, as the empire began to disappear into the darkness. They would NOT return until The Doctor had reached his EIGHTH incarnation (Scarf)- in which he found The Daleks scavenging for resources that they were pulling into a pocket dimension that he could not follow them through.

AFTER ENCOUNTERING THE DALEKS and REALIZING THAT THEY MAY VERY WELL BE PLANNING A RETURN- The Doctor ventured to GALLIFREY and attempted to warn Romana of The Threat, he found that Gallifrey was currently undergoing preparations for a TIME TREATY, in which Gallifrey would extend its resources out toward other races.

DURING THE TIME TREATY, The Daleks EMERGED from their POCKET UNIVERSE (Which made way for The Unbound Adaptation of THE APOCALYPSE ELEMENT to take place, with Scarf as a stand-in for Six.) They Assaulted The Gallifreyan assembly and took many lives, while also capturing TIME TRAVEL EQUIPMENT and fleeing. It was a smash-and-grab.

THE RETURN OF THE DALEKS (The Inciting Incidents)

WHEN THE DALEKS ATTACK GALLIFREY- It sends The High Council into a frenzy, and the citadel of Gallifrey goes into a panic. In their panic, Romana steps down from her Presidency. She becomes head of the Celestial Intervention Agency- while The High Council and The Next President- Lyvia, assemble a WAR COUNCIL for the upcoming and inevitable conflict with The Daleks.

AS THE CONFLICT BEGINS TO BREW, The Doctor carefully monitors Dalek's activity and tries to stay out of their way. He occasionally attempts to trip up their war efforts but to little avail. The Doctor is involved in many confrontations across Time and Space with The Daleks while they prepare their lead-up to The Time War.

In One Encounter, The Doctor comes across a new Dalek Supreme Variant. The DALEK TIME STRATEGIST is a fearsome Dalek BATTLE COMMANDER who can view shifts in a timeline. Tapped into The Dalek Patheweb and The Time Vortex, The Time Strategist proves to be one of the most fearsome foes The Doctor has ever faced. In their first encounter, The Time Strategist outsmarts The Doctor... resulting in the death of his Companion, Dehya [LUNAETIS' PORTRAYAL.]

THE DEATH OF DEHYA BREAKS THE DOCTOR, who goes on a one-man hunt for THE DALEKS and Their Headquarters. Along the way, he realizes that Davros has also been recruited by The Dalek Empire- who have SUCCESSFULLY RESTORED THE DALEK EMPEROR- (WHO HADN'T BEEN SEEN SINCE THE 60'S STORY EVIL OF THE DALEKS)

THE DOCTOR eventually DISCOVERS that The Daleks are hiding in the abyss, a pathway to the VOID accessible through a little planet called TEYVAT (One that The Scarf Doctor first made contact with long before he'd met Dehya.) During his mission to find The Daleks- The Doctor encounters LUMINE [KEMIKOROSU's PORTRAYAL] In this timeline- Lumine is the traveler, and Aether is the abyss prince.

The Doctor & Lumine venture into the Abyss and learn that (SOMEWHERE AROUND WHEN UPDATE 2.6 HAPPENS) The Daleks OVERPOWER and OVERTHROW the Abyss Order. Those who surrender are used to harvest resources from The Abyss and Khaenri'ah technology. By the time The Doctor discovers what The Daleks have been doing, The Daleks have already engineered their BRONZE armor via HARVESTED ruin guard armor and combined DALEK technology.

THE DOCTOR can do NOTHING to stop the NEW and IMPOWERED Dalek Empire from waging war with GALLIFREY. He Time Locks Teyvat to prevent The Daleks from invading through the abyss rifts and prepares to leave to warn The War Council. IN THIS TIMELINE- Aether (Who had been previously rescued by Lumine & The Doctor) takes over as the guardian of Teyvat so that Lumine can accompany The Doctor, arguing that he needs someone to watch his back.

THE DOCTOR arrives on GALLIFREY with LUMINE to learn that THE WAR COUNCIL is already engineering BATTLE TARDISES and preparing for WAR with THE DALEKS. The Doctor is too late, nothing can stop it: THE LAST GREAT TIME WAR HAS STARTED.

RUNNING FROM THE WAR

THE FIRST STRIKE FROM THE DALEKS COMES WHEN THE DALEKS ATTACK AND ANNEX A PLANET THAT IS HOME TO TIMELORD ALLIES. Gallifrey launches a counterattack immediately, and the war breaks out across the universe.

ASHAMED OF HIS PEOPLE and ASHAMED OF HIMSELF, The Doctor runs from The War while doing his best to try and help people caught in the crossfire without getting involved. Lumine continues to travel with him through this.

The DEVASTATING effects OF THE WAR begin affecting all of TIME AND SPACE. Enemies, Friends, Allies, and even FAMILY beg The Doctor to do something- and he refuses everyone. He wants nothing to do with The War.

When Lumine & Scarf go on one final adventure to the town of storybrooke, where they get involved in all kinds of hijinks- The Time War begins to spread to earth, and things start to leak through- things The Doctor can no longer IGNORE. When a PSYCHIC PROJECTION of an old ACADEMY friend: Damon, appears before THE DOCTOR- begging him to fight... he presents The Doctor with an EXTRA LIFE, coded in the language of a SOLDIER... a WARRIOR... and The Doctor knows... there's no more running from the war.

PHYSICIAN HEAL THYSELF: DOCTOR NO MORE.

THE WAR DOCTOR IS FORGED: JOINING THE WAR.

REGENERATING INTO A SOLDIER and THROWING his old name away, The War Doctor immediately gets involved in The War by rejecting BOTH SIDES. The Timelords attempt to pull his TARDIS to Gallifrey and in breaking free- The War Doctor and Lumine crash upon a strange planet.

There, they find Davros- who has been EX-COMMUNICATED from the Dalek army, but he attempts to prepare a barter for his children in the form of THE NIGHTMARE CHILD- A Virus based on a conversation The Doctor & Davros had back when they first met- THE VIRUS destroys ANYTHING it touches. It consumes, destroys, and infects...

When even DAVROS' OWN REPROGRAMMED DALEKS reject the idea, Davros goes mad- and unleashes THE NIGHTMARE CHILD on the planet. In his first ever war crime, The War Doctor is able to stop the Nightmare Child from spreading across the universe- however, the Nightmare Child is programmed to never stop until it completes feeding... The War Doctor keeps it limited to JUST the planet the duo is on... and they flee. Davros is consumed by his own virus.

DURING THE TIME WAR, GALLIFREY RESSURECTS RASSILON to lead them in the war. Rassilon goes through many regenerations- settling on a general and a queen by the very end of the war. RASSILON IS RUTHLESS, and orders PROJECT REVENANT to be used- qn engine that brings dead timelord soldiers back to life, over and over.

AS A SOLDIER in The Time War, The Doctor & Lumine act INDEPENDENTLY and do what they can. Together, they thwart all kinds of schemes while being tasked with SUICIDE MISSIONS for The War Council, who wish to see the duo destroyed. IN ONE MISSION, The Daleks even try to USE LUMINE to re-activate ANCIENT CELESTIAL TECHNOLOGY that could help them rewrite reality. This fails and the weapon overloads, but it consumes THREE galaxies in its detonation.

DURING THE MIDDLE OF THE WAR, The Borders of Reality grow weak enough for The Daleks to pass through. When The Timelords pick up intelligence that indicates The Daleks might be planning to build a BASE within the ALTERNATIVE. The Timelords CAPTURE LUMINE and send The War Doctor on a suicide mission ALONE into The MIRROR UNIVERSE.

THE MIRROR UNIVERSE AND THE CATACLYSM

THE HIGH COUNCIL WAS RIGHT. Daleks WERE breaking through to another universe. In a PARALLEL timeline where The Daleks and The Timelords are ABSENT- The War Doctor chases The Daleks to a parallel universe. Due to the corrosive nature of The Time War, the other universe isn't moving as UNSTABLE or AS FAST as The War Doctor's. When The Doctor arrives, he meets a DOPPLEGANGER of Lumine, on her FIRST JOURNEY through Teyvat- prior to when the OTHER TWIN AWAKES. [The Mirror Lumine // Lunaetis' portrayal.]

While CHASING THE DALEKS across THE HISTORY of this alternative Teyvat, The War Doctor ACCIDENTALLY leaves Dalek and remains in Teyvat's past. These remains go on to help Khaenri'ah discover FORBIDDEN KNOWLEDGE which leads to The Cataclysm and Celestia's intervention.

THE DALEKS MAKE A HOP RIGHT INTO THE CATACLYSM, Where The War Doctor confronts them again. This time, during the fall of Khaenri'ah, where he confronts MIRROR LUMINE again, and he tells her about The Time War and The Daleks. The War Doctor is able to defeat The Daleks and return to his own timeline through a hole that was torn open by The Daleks... but the effect he leaves upon the Alternate Teyvat sends ripples into his future...

THE FINAL DAYS OF THE WAR

AFTER RETURNING and REUNITING WITH his NATIVE LUMINE, The War Doctor & Lumine continue to battle in The Time War, but the conflict gets even more devastating when Rassilon and The War Council start unleashing weapons from The OMEGA ARSENAL.

Rassilon SUBJECTS THE UNIVERSE TO HORRORS BEYOND BELIEF. They unleash the NEVERWHEN, The Could've Been King, and HIs Army of Neverweres. Rassilon's EFFECT on The War Effort does more damage, as Rassilon directly threatens THE DALEK EMPEROR on MULTIPLE OCCASIONS, forcing too many more AGGRESSIVE attacks and counterattacks. The War Doctor begins to believe that there might not BE a peaceful resolution to The War or any end in sight.

THE CLIMAX OF THE WAR begins to BUILD WHEN THE DALEKS steal a WEAPON FROM THE ARSENAL called THE MOMENT. The Moment, a sentient weapon with consciousness, is used by The Daleks only once. They test its REALITY ALTERING CAPABLITIES on TEYVAT. The Instability of the War causes enough damage to be done for THE TIME LOCK to break, AND THE DALEKS TURN TEYVAT INTO A WASTELAND RULED BY THE DALEKS.

TO LURE THE DOCTOR into the alternate Timeline, The TIME STRATEGIST kidnaps Lumine. This forces The War Doctor to call upon AETHER to help him rescue Lumine. Due to The War Doctor's interference, AETHER is not subjected to the changes to the Timeline The Daleks made. [THE AETHER / WAR THREAD IS BETWEEN MYSELF AND @artificeheart, AND CAN BE READ HERE.]

The War Doctor and Aether work through their difficulties to try and save Teyvat from The Daleks and their interference. Observing the damage The Daleks have done through just ONE use of The Moment- The War Doctor believes that it is the key to ending the war and saving the current timeline- so he ventures to THE STRATEGIST IN ORDER TO CAPTURE IT.

THE WAR DOCTOR RECOVERS THE MOMENT FROM THE STRATEGIST. Aether and Lumine are able to be reunited- but just before anything can be done- THE TIME STRATEGIST GUNS DOWN LUMINE... Her Death appeals to the consciousness of The Moment, who undoes The Daleks' damage to Teyvat and Restores Lumine to life.

Understanding that the END OF THE WAR HAS COME, The War Doctor prepares to end The War once and for all by using the Moment to Destroy both Gallifrey and The Daleks. He leaves Lumine behind in a heartfelt goodbye and heads for Gallifrey.

THE REVIVAL OF THE MASTER

WHEN THE TIMELORDS AGREE That there is a probable Chance The Doctor will destroy them, they concoct a plan in order to try and avert the end of the war to deliver Gallifrey's supreme victory of The War by ELIMINATING THE DOCTOR'S INTERFERENCE.

THEY RESURRECT THE MASTER- (WHO ALSO GETS A DIVERGENT HISTORY HERE- Last seen also in Survival- Doctor Who's the final story before cancellation.) THEY RESTORE THE MASTER into a new body, marking The End of THE TREMAS MASTER and The Birth of THE WAR MASTER. In this timeline, The War Master is young and ferocious- insane and unhinged.

BELIEVING THAT THE MASTER WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IN HIS MISSION if he has all the same advantages and parameters as THE DOCTOR, The Timelord High Council pairs The Master with a companion based on shared psychological profiles. He is assigned The Fourth Harbinger, Arlecchino, as his companion [LUNAETIS' PORTRAYAL]

THE WAR MASTER AND ARLECCHINO are TASKED ASSASINATING THE DOCTOR. They begin their mission by tearing open a hole in the universe and pursuing The Doctor to where he's been stranded.

The War Master is able to learn via the high council that The Incarnation of The Doctor he must hunt down and destroy is stranded in a parallel universe- unable to return. If he DOES return to the main universe, it'll be at the exact moment he LEFT... and he will kill them all.

The War Master learns that DALEKS were the ones who first stepped through to the Mirror Universe- and tricks The Daleks into providing him with technology to reach the Mirror Universe by promising them he will OPEN THE DOORWAY and allow them to kill The Doctor.

THE STRANDED PLOTLINE

BEFORE HE CAN REACH THE END OF THE WAR, a crack in time swallows a broken, end of his ropes War Doctor. Being Flung back into The Mirror Universe, where time moves slower- The War Doctor believes he might be able to return to The War at the precise moment he left.

However, he's paired with a new COMPANION: Abyss Princess Lumine, who he previously met in his suicide mission into the Parallel universe. The Abyss Princess agrees to help him return home, and travels with him during this plotline.

Together The War Doctor & Abyss Lumine surmise that the only way to get The War Doctor home is to gather the Key to Time- as the moment is powerless in an alternative universe. The Key to time was a powerful object that was hidden at the start of the war by its respective guardians. It's hiding place? Just so happened to be the Mirror Universe...

THE WAR DOCTOR & ABYSS LUMINE travel together across different planets assembling the key. Along the way, they travel to Teyvat's distant future and discover on a colony moon- that Khaenri'ah descendants have "restored" the Hilichurls to their "evolved" state. Recovered Remains of Daleks left behind during The Mirror Mission incident were used to Mutate Hilichurls into DALEKS NATIVE TO THE MIRROR UNIVERSE.

DURING THEIR TRAVELS, The War Master & Arlecchino intercept the duo and steal their segments of The Key to Time. The War Master uses the segments HE'D collected himself (upon LEARNING that the key was hidden in the universe) to assemble THE WHOLE KEY, and RIPS a hole open between The Mirror Universe and The Stranded Universe... ALLOWING THE TIME WAR DALEKS TO INVADE MIRROR LUMINE'S UNIVERSE.

THE WAR MASTER attempts to TRY AND USE THE KEY TOO REWRITE THE HISTORY OF THE DALEKS so that THE MASTER was the creator as opposed to DAVROS- but this plan backfires horribly when THE WAR DOCTOR interferes and uses the key to CLOSE THE RIFT BETWEEN UNIVERSES-- All promptly before he can say goodbye to ABYSS LUMINE.

THE WAR MASTER is left to The Mercy of The Daleks, but he SAVES both himself and Arlecchino by sending his companion back home using a VORTEX MANIPULATOR he acquired on his travels. The War Master then uses the last of his TARDIS' power and the instability of The War to ESCAPE... but regenerates in the process.

WITH THE KEY SCATTERED and THE WAR DOCTOR returned to his point of departure in the native universe... The War Doctor heads to Gallifrey.

THE TIME WAR REACHES ITS CONCLUSION WHEN THE WAR DOCTOR TRAVELS TO THE HEART OF THE WAR AND USES THE MOMENT TO DESTROY BOTH THE DALEKS & THE TIMELORDS. THE ACT CAUSES THE WAR DOCTOR TO DIE FATALLY AND REGENERATE INTO THE GOTH DOCTOR...

Hiii Shadow I just wanna talk about some moresome trans rancher headcanons <3

I headcanon that because Tango is a blaze/human hybrid finding medical care is really difficult, so Zedaph agreed to be his doctor in exchange for it being allowed to do unethical experiments on him. And Tango doesn't care because Zed would've found a way to experiment on him either way, and this way he gets a free doctor out of it. So among other things, Zed was the one who made him his hrt (hrt for blaze/human hybrids didn't exist yet so he had to design it, Tango was harmed many times during the testing process but that's okay he made it out with working customized T and free top surgery)

So skip to the hermitpires crossover, Jimmy comes out as transfemme and Tango's just like. Do you need hrt cause I know a guy. So once they're on Hermitcraft together Tango introduces Jimmy and Zed and it's very silly and fun, but Tango brings up that Jimmy needs hrt and she has no way of getting it for herself (I have weird rules I've designed for Empires, Jimmy can't leave the server to get medical care but Tango is able to bring her things because he's able to fully travel to any server he knows the address of). So Zed agrees because she wouldn't even need to work that hard seeing as the prescription already exists, he would just need to get it.

So Zed is just Jimmy's hrt supplier and it's so fun to me <3 They haven't met aside from when they were both on Hermitcraft, but when Tango comes over with her prescription they can just be like "Oh btw Zed says hi" "Aw how's it been lately?? Tell her I say hi :D"

I wrote a short fic about this months ago that never saw the light of day, it isn't great but maybe someday I'll rewrite it to where I'd officially post it. But Zed's weird ass relationship with Tango is so important to me and I just love them dragging Jimmy into it

Yeah we can add drug dealer to the list of Zed's occupations, why not? /j I think it's very funny that on Empires Jimmy is just sitting around questioning her gender and then Tango comes in which prompts Jimmy to be like "yo I think I'm a girl(adjacent)" and Tango, being the amazing boyfriend he is, is just like "cool! You want some titty skittle from my friend?" And now every so often Tango pops into Empires w Jimmy's fem&Ms and they catch up only slightly mentioning the mad scientist who repeatedly violates the Geneva Convention on the daily that is supplying Jimmy w her anti-cis-tamines. Baa's a lovely person, they swear beep is.

Oooh can we get the backstory to the dualsaber thing? Sorry if I've just missed the story before </3

Certainly! If you prefer backstory in fic form, it's delved into a little bit here and here, buuuut the simpler version is:

The out-of-game explanation is I'd had these items equipped for a while when I started seeing connections between them and the story, especially as I was going through Shadow of Revan and the first half of KotFE.

Items in question: Twin Satel Shan dualing sabers paired with purple-black striated crystals

In-universe expalnation, I kind of have a thing for weird connections in the Force and them weaving their way into characters' lives in subtle ways. And there's two explanations that sort of go together.

First off, the hilts (which is why I have such a mighty need for the dualsaber version)!

We see Satele's original dualsaber broken in the "Hope" trailer when she and Jace face off with Malgus during the Battle of Alderaan. This battle is what leads Satele and Jace to having the affair that produces Theron. In my headcanon, she keeps the ruins of the hilt*. Vague handwavey “the Force said so” (or the fact that she does seem to be a bit of a packrat when you poke around her camp on Odessen. Her mother’s journals, mementos of Ngani Zho, mysterious childrens’ toys, pictures of beautiful mountains, a locket with a picture of teenage Theron she in theory shouldn’t have, etc)

* -- this may actually be quasi-canon(ish)? If you're a Force Sensitive character and run through Chapter 12 of KotFE, look very closely at the hilt that Satele gives you in the cutscene. While there's a bit of a gilded color to part of the hilt, the swirls are the exact same on the above. Ergo, Satele does give you her hilts at some point... (at least as force sensitive baby, I'm sure the gun/cannon/etc you get are equally pretty. But obviously that kind of throws the "gives you her old lightsaber" bit out of the water if you're not actually building a lightsaber)

When Grey is forced into being a thrall for Vitiate at the end of Chapter 2, it’s implied by the game that the Knight, or rather, the Knight’s body was forced to do something very bad, as indicated by Orgus’s dialogue when he helps breaks Vitiate’s hold over them. (Not to mention the whole Orgus sidequest on Rishi). After escaping the fortress, Grey keeps trying to clean her original lightsabers, but she can never seem to get the bloodstains out (even though they’ve been scrubbed clean).

She can’t even wear them or look at them anymore, something that Satele picks up on during the debriefing with Scourge and the Council regarding Vitaite’s “NomNom the Galaxy” Plan**. Before Grey and company depart for Belsavis, Voss, and beyond, Satele takes her aside and helps her craft new blades, helping providing the hilts as well as offering some calm/meditation help. The idea being that what was once broken can still be mended into something new, something stronger.

(** - That’s the canon name for it, I’m sure. No need to look it up on Wookieepedia).

And because I’m a bit of a sap, it has this roundabout way of connecting her to Theron, as the action of the blade being broken led Jace to make his mad dash, suicidal charge with a grenade to save the woman he loved, and ultimately led to Theron being born. And Grey’s love for Theron is part of what leads her into darkness, but also what pulls her out of it again and again.

SO.

If Grey is to have a dualsaber when the game lets me add a secondary combat style (which is definitely going to be Shadow, because I need stealth like burning on her when running dailies. Seriously it would make my life so much easier) -- then she needs to be able to attach her current two lightsabers back into the original dualsaber form. It just makes sense, yannow?

Now the crystals... that’s a bit more complicated and I haven’t quite explained it in full. But it’s a mix of a bunch of headcanon and lightsaber crystal lore from old and new canon. 300 years prior, perhaps riiiight about the time a certain Pureblood Sith literally stabs Meetra Surik in the back and turns on Revan, a twin pair of lightsaber crystals begin to grow on Ilum, facet by facet. Huh. Weird.

A few years prior to the Treaty of Coruscant, a little baby, pre-Padawan Grey starts having nightmares and visions of something calling to her in the dark. The Force being, well, the Force, is murky and not super clear in all of this, and eventually her guardian figures out that the Force is calling her to Ilum to claim her lightsaber crystals. This opens up a can of worms for him unrelated to this story, but she enters the crystal caves and follows the crystal’s songs to what look like ordinary, clear crystals.

The moment she touches them and pulls them from their resting place, they turn a deep, dark purple hue with black streaks running through it. Naturally, as a child that’s already been a bit traumatized by an encounter with the Sith, she freaks out and begs her guardian to hide them away, as she thinks it means she’s somehow tainted and dark. She puts them to the back of her mind, and almost forgets about them. And I mean, Orgus Din gifts her all of the components she needs to make the pair of sabers on Tython, so no one has to know about those dark crystals she’s got hidden away.

Until years later, she’s put under the thrall of the SIth Emperor. And those colors the crystals took on seem almost familiar:

Almost fated to be. Don’t they?

But yeah, not sure if the devs meant for the purple-striated crystals to resemble ValkyVitiateTenepants creepy dark-side power so much, but since they do (especially if you use his teleport ability in Chapter 9 of KOTET, the smoke is almost the exact same color), but since it does? In a way, for my little headcanon verse anyway, the crystals sort of represent that connection between Grey and Vitiate in the Force. That future that Scourge forced by grabbing onto one vision in a thousand and deciding to make it happen.

It’s not all him of course, she has her own issues, beyond him and even Theron, the color is also a reflection of her own inner demons. She still has lingering issues from losing her parents and with her family. At some point, I’m thinking possibly after whatever Legacy of the Sith throws at her (I haz fears after that Dantooine Flashpoint), she is reunited with both of her brothers, and all three of them eventually wind up confronting the man that murdered their parents. It’s all very dramatic, in typical Highwind fashion.

When Grey killed Vinn Atrius after he stabs Theron, the guilt almost drove her to the breaking point, and it took her a very long time to work her way through it. When the confrontation with their parents’ murderer happens, the man is unarmed, and she sees that Draike is about to drive himself off that same edge, she basically steps in to deliver the killing blow on Draike’s behalf, intending to spare him from that. It’s what finally breaks through her brother’s bloodlust, and other than Draike maybe, er, kneecapping the guy, he decides that his love for his estranged sister is stronger than his need for revenge.

(Meanwhile, this is like the second or third time their poor baby brother Ben has met his older siblings and he’s just all “?????” over the whole ordeal. )

TL;DR -- this incident is what finally mends the fence between Grey and Draike, and they develop a much healthier sibling relationship after it. It also allows them both to close the door on what happened to their parents and move on. The next time Grey is taking apart/maintaining her sabers, she meditates on the crystals, and the change from the deep, dark purple hue to a soft, purpleish gray that is almost white***.

*** - This is similar to what happens to the crystals that Ahsoka obtains from the Inquisitors hunting her. Meditating and healing the crystals that had reflected the darkness of their owner.

So uh... that might have been a more in-depth explanation than you were hoping for? 😅 Apparently even when I’m trying to write short, I can’t help but create super lengthy explanations.

Have some of my Stan twins headcanons!

Both:

They are trans men! (This one and any attached HC to this, is not ALWAYS included in my fanart/fics but it's still there)

When either man has a nightmare, they go to each other for comfort, that includes just keeping each other company, cuddling to fall back asleep, whatever they need

They draw together while travelling and show those and the large scrapbook they make to the kids when they visit next

Stan:

He 100% has ADHD

Bisexual w/masc preference

Got top surgery and testosterone from a really shady back alley surgeon/doctor until hrt became normalized

Had PTSD before weirdmageddon but that + the memory wipe worsened it in multiple ways

Actually super cuddly and affectionate but went so long without physical contact that he hates to initiate it

He knows sign language (because in canon he's HoH and doesn't want to risk not being able to communicate if he loses it fully)

Listens to rock and folk-punk

Really creative and artistic (which is obvious considering his line of work) and has endless amounts of sketch books just lying around

Was never actually failing school, he wasn't doing great but he had D's, C's and even B's (only in gym and art but still they count) but his family didn't care

Teaches Mabel and Dipper how to box the next summer they come down

Never admits it but he is incredibly insecure, but wants to seem confident and unbothered when everyone is around

Dated Fiddleford for a bit while he was still somewhat lucid (in their early 30s), but then when he got worse, he forgot Stan was Stan and started referring to him as Ford and he couldn't handle that anymore and tried to distance himself from him

Everytime he gets a new memory, he goes to Ford, because it's really scary and Ford somehow always knows how to help

Has an ACTUAL tattoo on his back, its Ford's hand, he got it when he was sixteen as a surprise for him, to hopefully make him feel better

Actively dating their universe's Rick Sanchez and has been since their late forties (knew him since his early twenties though)

Ford:

Created his own testosterone for himself, and eventually for Fiddleford, Stan and Dipper as well

Also got his top surgery from a back alley surgeon (sort of, they were in training to be a real, certified doctor but wanted MORE practice than they were getting)

Gay through and through

He's autistic AND has ADHD

Dated Fiddleford in college and after weirdmageddon is over (I also go back and forth on thinking he's Tate's dad as well which is it's own little post)

Loves playing cards against humanity while drunk

Has played not so child friendly campaigns for DD&mD (if you catch my drift)

Monster fucker

Learned multiple languages after going through the portal, and then learned sign language for Stan when he came back

Touch starved for sure and will soak up literally any affection given to him

Likes reading to people

Got used to cussing while he was away and slips up in front of the kids constantly (which leads to MANY occasions of one of them saying it and him getting yelled at by Stan who does NOT slip up somehow)

Has ptsd and nightmares due to what happened while he was away and weirdmageddon

Mabel made him a princess unattainabelle dress to wear while playing DD&mD (which he in all honesty adores and does wear multiple times)

Has over 100 tattoos, and is a part of why he wears sweaters (but also because of his scars)

TW Self harm/suicide attempts for the next few

Ford tried to have his extra fingers removed as a teen and then tried to cut them off himself when the doctor's wouldn't do it for him (Stan caught him and stopped him before he could)

Ford attempted suicide 5 times, the first was the night Stan was kicked out and he got rejected by WCT, he tried to overdose but didn't have enough pills to do it. Next was during college, he was stressed out from the work load he had taken on and tried to overdose again, but Fiddleford caught him and saved him. Third time was while he was working with Bill, the demon made some off comment about his family, and Stan, and that set him off, so he tried to slit his throat, once again being saved by Fiddleford. The fourth time was right before Stan showed up, he was going to hang himself if his brother didn't show up, but he did. The final time was about 10 years over on the other side, he lost one of his few friends he had made and was going to shoot himself, but fell through a portal before he could and met Rick Sanchez

While most of Ford's scars are from fighting, there are a lot from him cutting and burning himself when he was younger (and the one on his throat from the one attempt)

Stan also attempted to kill himself, 3 times. First was the night he was kicked out, he tried to drown himself but was pulled to shore by an incredibly worried old man (who he ends up crashing with until he was banned from NJ). Then the second was a few months after the portal incident, he felt hopeless and scared and guilty so he tried to overdose but couldn't keep the pills down and puked them up almost immediately. The last time was the morning the kids were going home, he tries to hang himself, kicks the chair over as soon as Ford comes in to talk to him about the anomalies he found, so luckily he doesn't have the chance to succeed (the kids never find out, Stan made him swear not to tell them)

Stan also has self harm scars, but his are on his stomach and chest, so nobody but Ford, Fiddleford, and Rick know about them

some random headcanons of our favourite warriors and what i think they’d be like in a modern!au (includes zeke, porco, pieck, colt, falco and gabi - reiner, annie and bertholdt are included in the 104th version which you can read here) hope you enjoy - mac

zeke jaeger:

such a dick when it comes to driving - will pull out on people, refuses to give way, if he thinks you’re driving too slow he’ll tailgate behind you. and god forbid you’re a passenger in his car - at times you’ll be holding on for dear life because zeke decides the speed limit for himself. also don’t you dare eat or leave rubbish in his car unless you want him to kick you out on the side of the road.

does a lot of travelling - probably has a bucket list to visit so many countries in the world and visit all the heritage site. and you best believe he brings it up in every conversation.

when he’s busy doing something, he will mumble his internal monologue under his breath.

he is a ‘don’t talk to me until i’ve had my morning coffee’ kinda person.

has the most ineligible handwriting - like a doctor’s note/russian cursive kind of handwriting (so does grisha - it runs in the family.)

porco galliard:

definitely has a thing for tattoos - mainly in places where they’re not too noticeable - maybe one on his chest, one on his ankle, another near his hipbone (although i can also see him with a sleeve and it would look amazing.)

doesn’t smoke but he’s always carrying a lighter - he likes to play with it (which he thinks makes him look really intimating - it doesn’t, especially when he fumbles and struggles to get it to light properly.)

had an obsession with dinosaurs as a kid. literally his whole room was dinosaur themed and had a dinosaur birthday party for three years in a row (he pretends it didn’t happen but marcel would bring it up all the time.)

if he ever gets a slight pain in his body he goes straight to google - looks up all his symptoms and convinces himself that he’s dying.

porco has terrible eyesight. but he refuses to wear glasses in front of people so is always wearing contacts. but just imagine one day he realises he’s out of contacts and has to wear glasses for the whole day - his world would come crashing and it would take some major convincing for him to even get anything done that day.

pieck finger:

pieck is like a magpie - if she sees pretty things she will collect them. this will be anything from jewellery to loose buttons, cool looking coins, shells from the beach - she’ll put them all in a jar together.

she definitely had an emo phase. i can see her with black eyeliner, probably had a myspace page, definitely cried when my chemical romance broke up.

likes to doodle on things. when writing notes for a class, her page will be half notes and half little drawings of random things that have nothing to do with what she’s making notes about. especially likes to draw flowers and little sketches of things she can see out the window - and following from this, she probably spends a lot of time daydreaming.

has very vivid dreams and writes everything down in a dream journal - is able to lucid dream too. if she has a dream about you, no matter how weird, she will tell you with no shame.

very eco conscious - would probably buy a lot of clothes thrifted, would use shampoo/conditioner bars, would go to refill stores instead of buying brand new.

colt grice:

super sensible with money - like if he has the intention to save money he would actually do it and wouldn’t spend any of it.

owns several houseplants and would actually manage to keep them alive for longer than 2 months.

would always write people thank you cards if they gave him a present for his birthday or christmas - a text would not be sufficient, it would have to be a handwritten card.

when he was younger, he did a paper round and would walk people’s dogs for pocket money. he loves dogs and would definitely get one once he gets his own place.

but he also likes cats!! if he saw a cute cat on the road he would stop to pet and fuss it (would get super pouty if he did a pspsps and the cat ignored him and ran off.)

falco grice:

doesn’t like things to touch when he eats - also a very picky eater. one of those kids that will just have a diet of chicken nuggets and pizza (refuses to eat vegetables - colt would have to pay him $10 before he’d even consider putting a piece of broccoli in his mouth.)

would ask you if you have games on your phone.

never bothers unlacing his shoes and forces his feet into them - colt tells him off for it but he still does it (and consequently goes through too many pairs of shoes.)

does fornite dances in public. and definitely plays minecraft and watches minecraft/fornite youtubers - plays it at a really loud volume much to the annoyance of colt.

is that kid who’s broken every bone in his body - literally gets taken to the emergency department every 6 months for an injury he got while doing something stupid.

gabi braun:

threatens to fight everything - people, animals, inanimate objects - she wants to fight it (never actually would though, she just wants to seem tough.)

super snarky and sarcastic towards adults - if you’ve ever played the ‘last of us,’ i feel like gabi would be very similar to ellie in the fact that she’s got a retort back to everything. and despite being a kid has such a habit of swearing, like where did you learn all of those words child??

has an obsession with insects and creepy crawlies. when everyone is screaming because there’s a spider, gabi is screaming too but out of excitement. she’d pick it up and chase people with it (mainly falco who tries to run but gabi catches up too quick and shoves it in his face.)

despite being ‘tough’ she still sleeps with a night light and her stuffed animal she’s had since she was a baby.

halloween is her favourite time of the year. she loves everything about it - candy, dressing up, scaring the living daylights out of people - it’s her kinda holiday.

MOSTIMA

･ When news started to go around that you and Mostima were in a relationship, a lot of people at Rhodes Island tilted their heads to the side in confusion before asking; “The Doctor is dating who?”

･ Needless to say, Mostima was not one for personal relationships or attachment - barely anyone had ever met or even heard of the mysterious Caster Operator, and those who did know Mostima personally knew her as someone who was always relatively detached.

･ To most, she was like smoke; appeared without warning and was gone in a blink once her duty was done. You, however, knew her much differently.

･ Mostima was not one for relationships; she always made herself close, but never close enough. She could never stay long - such was her fundamental rule. But when she met you, her whole world slowly began shifting into something different.

･ At first, you were no one in particular to Mostima, just another person among the many she had business with. She didn't expect you to remember her, and she wasn't planning on remembering you.

･ That was, until you two started working together.

･ You were a warm person, someone who wasn't judgmental or discriminating toward anybody. Mostima saw it in the Operators you hired daily - no matter what their story was, you treated everyone with fairness. You showed a particular sincerity toward her, however. Mostima was observant, she took note of your kindness quickly.

･ “Mostima!” Every time you ran into her, you greeted her with an elated smile, “Staying for awhile, I hope?” And everytime, the smile she responded with became more wholehearted; “Ahaha, we’ll see, Doctor.”

･ Mostima found herself growing closer to you with every day she was at Rhodes Island. Around you she felt more open, and the more open she felt, the more she allowed herself to share her thoughts and feelings with you.

･ “I’m back, Doctor. I brought snacks, wanna have a chat?”

･ “Doctor, I can tell you about my travels if you have some spare time on your hands. I swear I’ve got some stories worth your while~.”

･ Around you, she felt something she hadn't felt for a long time; she felt the desire to stay.

･ Mostima didn’t fight against this warmth, but at first she didn't truly believe it. But followed by the warmth she felt around you was the urge to stay with you and keep you safe.

･ Before you, she was fully convinced that she didn't need friends or anyone to care for, but her feelings toward you made her begin to think otherwise.

･ The Caster Operator wasn't someone who left all her cards out for everyone to see, but playing games with you when she felt so strongly toward you felt wrong. So, she was as forthright as she could manage when she approached you about her feelings.

･ “Doctor?” Her chin rested in her hand, and her eyes were up toward the sky that was blanketed in stars. “...Going forward, I think I'm going to stick around here for longer.” You blinked, turning to her with surprise on your face, “For what?” Mostima looked toward you with a light smile on her lips, “For you.”

･ And from then on, Mostima did as she said she would; she left less and stayed for longer.

･ The more time she spent with you, the more comfortable she felt with staying rather than taking her leave as she always did.

･ However, it took a long time for her to truly become used to such changes; the Caster Operator found herself backpedaling from her statements when she would begin delivering the terse farewells she was so used to saying.

･ “Well Doctor, I should head out-…..Hah, sorry. I guess old habits die hard.”

･ To be involved with Mostima was admittedly a little difficult. She wasn't one for attachments, and she definitely wasn't one for love. Still, she tried her very best, and you never got upset with her.

･ You were patient with her, and for that, she was very thankful.

･ Regarding professional matters at Rhodes Island, you and Mostima didn't work very closely as one might assume - off the battlefield you two shared brief conversations and on the battlefield you gave her orders which she would then follow.

･ Between Operations and planning for said Operations, there wasn't much room for personal discussion or affection.

･ It was when you two were alone that the Caster Operator was at her most genuine.

･ When it came to physical affection, Mostima was relatively neutral; she really didn't believe she had the capacity to capture warmth. Despite this, whenever you two were alone, the Caster Operator found solace in holding you close, and in turn, she made you feel safe.

･ “Huh. Let me hold you for a little while longer, okay?” "Of course, Mostima. Anytime."

･ She especially liked it whenever you would rest your head in her lap, and if you ever dozed off and fell asleep, she would sit there combing her fingers through your hair; and she would always try to be there when you awoke.

･ There was always lots to talk about with the Caster Operator; Mostima enjoyed sharing stories of her travels, and you enjoyed hearing them.

･ “Hey Mostima...can you tell me a story?” “Hehe, what are you dying to know about? The Laterano Cathedrals, the slums of Lungmen, the mountains of Kjerag….you know, someday, I want to take you along for an adventure.”

･ The curious, starry look in your eyes as you listened to her describe the details of places you’ve never seen brought an effusive smile to her face.

･ Though, while she did want you to travel with you someday, she settled for taking you places whenever she could. As expected, Mostima had the perfect places to bring you no matter where you two were.

･ “Hey, I know some good places to eat around here. How about we take a break?” “Doctor, want to go get a drink with me? There’s an interesting place that not many people know about down the street.” “There’s a cliff with a really nice view nearby. I wouldn't mind showing it to you, but you have to promise it’ll be our little secret~.”

･ No matter where you two went, you always shared quiet, warm moments together. Sometimes you two would simply lay side by side while the sun rose, and Mostima would cherish every second of it; she cherished every second with you.

･ “Hey Doctor, for a long time, I was convinced that love wasn't for me. But now that we’re together, I can't imagine myself without you.” Mostima would reach for your hand, while she cupped your cheek with her own, “Hehe...you’re quite the lucky one, aren't you? Nothing ever stops you from trying.”

･ She never understood what you saw in her; her story was’nt one of gallantry, and her life wasn't a noble one. She had spent so much of her time going from place to place, and as the days went on, all of her journeys became blurred and lost their meaning.

･ Something she had never told you was that she was afraid of someday making an irreversible mistake that would drive you away forever: not being there for you, saying the wrong thing, doing the wrong thing. It had been so long since she had been so intimate with anyone that she wasn't sure if she’d be able to say or do the right things when it would come down to it.

･ But when you would turn to smile at her, and both of you were alone lying in a quiet field or watching city streets from atop a building, Mostima felt her strongest, and any semblance of worry left her.

･ “Doctor... I love you so much.” “I love you too, Mostima.”

･ Yes, she would stay; she would stay with you as long as the world allowed her to.

Fa,do you think Rayan will wait after the wedding to having children? I'm sure he's dying for having kids with the love of his life (us 👌😎) netherless he's a responsible man who want to do the right thing on the right pace.Do you think he'd prefer to enjoy the engagement and wedding's preparations and later seeking for the kids or maybe he doesnt care and is trying having kids in this right moment with Candy?

I think he will let Candy decide about it. If both of them are on the same page about having kids in less than a year after getting married, then they gonna, if she tells him that she wants to wait a little bit and just enjoy their marriage, he goes with it too and gives her all the time she needs.

I’m pretty sure that’s gonna be more of her choice than his and he’s not going to push her to it or pressure her in any way or form - he’s just not that type of guy, and so far, Rayan as a very non-chauvinist stance about things, it gets especially clear in his arc when he speaks out against false sexual harassment claims and speaks up about the real fight and how that fight is important.

I have very mixed feelings towards the scene when Rayan and Candy talk about having or not kids, cuz I think it was too short and too narrow of dialogue to actually carry that much weight (they would’ve to have a more proper conversation about it later for sure). His age is not at all a concern if they get medical help and act like he’s in some sort of clock is stupid in my opinion. He’s just 37. The idea that 40′s is already too old to have a kid is outdated and silly.

However, I do think, based on that conversation back then, that Candy wants to have kids with him as soon as possible.

Because at the end of Love Life, they basically have a 5 years relationship, in which probably 4 years they lived together - in my head, living together is not so different of being already married - so they will probably feel like enjoying their honeymoon, travel a little bit, get a bigger apartment THEN they will simply decide that they want kids.

Cuz like you said anon, he’s a responsible man, he will not let his baby not have their own room and space to run around, they will need a bigger apartment for this plan to work.

In my personal headcanon, my Candy will simply stop taking contraceptives and tell him that. He will be super happy about it and I can picture them actually having some fun with it too (picture what you will with that). Maybe they will see a doctor at some point, but since there’s nothing wrong with neither of them, they will just keep trying and in less than 3 months she will be preg, probably.

Rayan would be thrill about it all the time, the silliest to-be-father that you will ever meet. He will go out only to buy baby-related things, he will be involved in everything that he can, without being too invasive, and it’s gonna be one of those moments in their relationship that he would be the happiest and the softest of all times. Candy will swear that she never saw him acting so dorkable, and look, Rayan is pretty dork and adorable when they started dating and in their everyday life, so that says a lot. xD

I don’t think Rayan would ever try to convince her if she’s not ready, he even says so himself, in the negative outcome of their dialogue about having kids, that he thinks that if they wait they will probably regret it later but that she’s the most important thing to him, so as long as they are together, nothing else matters - which is so him, the things he does with her only have meaning because it’s her, like the marriage, living together and all.

It’s all because she’s so special to him and makes him love again, so yeah, makes sense that nothing else is more important to him than be with her. It’s noticeable every time he opens up about his feelings for her, the much it means to him, that I really see him letting her decide the right moment and he would just follow her along.

Asra/Julian/Lucio/Valerius arguing with MC

Asra

The shop was just about to close when Asra came up to MC, telling them that they are planning on going away, again.

"But you've just come back," MC sighed as they closed the shop, "Why are you going so soon?"

"I'm sorry, but I just have to go, I'll be back soon," they smiled at MC as they packed their things.

"Then why don't you take me with you?" Mc turned to them.

"We've talked about this," Asra started explaining, "I'll take you with me once, I truly will-"

"Why not take me now? If the trip is not that long, then why is it a problem to take me with you?"

"Because..."

"Because what? You don't want me to come with you?"

"It's, it's not like that."

"Then what is it all about? Please explain," they massaged their temple, "Look, I understand it might be a problem to bring another person without a plan."

"That is exactly my point-"

Mc stopped Asra, continuing with their argument, "But you've never told me you were going to go, and the last three times you've told me it won't be that long, it turned out your little trips lasted for months."

"Why are my travels a problem now?" they asked with a bit of bitterness in their voice.

MC noticed that, but continued talking, in a calmer manner, "Your travels are not a problem. They never were, the problem is you distancing yourself from me! I just want to spend some time with you and bond, but it feels like every time we get a bit closer, you cut the ties by going on another travel! Please, tell me why is that? I just want to know the reason."

"Why do you have to know?" they turned to them, "Just because you can't live off without me, doesn't mean I can't. I just want some space and you're making a huge fuss over it." they were about to continue arguing until they saw MC trembling, tears rolling down their cheeks.

"MC," they stopped talking, realising what they've done, "I, I didn't mean to-"

"Go," MC stared at them, trying their best to fight tears, "If I'm the one holding you back," their lips trembled as they let the words out, "Then I will stop. Here, you're free. Congratulations!," tears formed in their eyelashes, making Asra's expression all blurry, but they didn't want to see them now.

Asra didn't give MC a chance to leave, instead, they hugged them tightly, "I want you to know," they kissed MC's forehead, moving a few strands of hair away, "You've never been a burden, truly," they wiped off MC's tears.

"It's just that there is so much I wish to tell you, but I don't know how. It's always been easier to just bury it all away, but that wasn't fair to you," they looked at MC's puffy eyes, their heart aching at the sight, "Come," Asra lead them to their room, "It's time for me to explain everything."

They put MC next to them and with a bit of hesitation started explaining what happened three years ago.

"I... died?" MC asked them, mortified.

"Yes," Asra hugged MC, "Don't worry, everything's fine now. I'm here," they told MC as they spent the rest of the night together, explaining everything from the beginning, promising them they won’t abandon Mc again.

Warning: mentions of alcoholism in Julian’s headcanon

Julian:

"Not again," MC groaned as they tried their best to lead Julian out of the Rowdy raven. Once the two of them got home, MC gently put Julian on a chair, trying to get them some water.

"You promised me you won't spend nights at the Rowdy raven," they handed Julian a glass of water, "You know it's not good for you to drink this much, it's getting out of control."

"I, I'm sorry..." Julian stuttered, struggling to hold the glass with both of his hands, "This is the last time, I promise."

"This is the fourth time you've promised me that," MC said as they helped drunk Julian drink water, "Please, if you are bothered by anything, you can always turn to me," they smiled as they put the glass on the table.

"Why do you want me to stop drinking?" he protested, "You're no better than me, you know?"

"Well," MC was caught off guard, but they continued, "I do drink from time to time... but I don't drink as much as you do!"

"Don't play innocent!" he stood up a tad bit too quickly, nearly falling. He didn't let this stop him, so he used the table as a support.

"I know you've been drinking a lot lately. You just buy new bottles to replace the empty ones!"

"Well, at least I don't get drunk every time!" MC protested, "Look at yourself! Who knows what would have happened if I haven't stepped in!"

"I know what would have happened," Julian started, "I would have at least had some fun and not get a lecture from a hypocrite!"

"I'm not a hypocrite!" MC shouted, "Can't you see? I'm just trying to take care of you..."

"Then why don't you take care of yourself first?!?"

"I-" MC looked at drunk Julian in disbelief. They walked out of the house, saying, "Fine, I will!"

They slammed the door after themselves, walking away into the night. They were alone, thinking about their decision. Was it okay to just abandon Julian like that? He is probably still sitting on that chair right now, not knowing what to do.

No, now is not the time to pity him. He is the one who hurt them, so why are they the one feeling bad? It's not their fault that Julian doesn't take care of himself. They decided to put the thought aside, going into the shop to talk with Asra.

They didn't bother with knocking, instead, they unlocked the door and walked quietly upstairs, in case Asra was asleep. After a couple of minutes spent on roaming around the shop, they realised that Asra was not home.

'Dammit,' they thought, 'Why are they always away?' their eyes became glossy, 'Gosh, why did I even bother...' they walked to the kitchen, looking for some beverage.

Just before they were to open a glass of Prakran wine, MC stopped themselves, 'He was right,' they put the bottle where they found it, 'I am being hypocritical,' they walked away from the kitchen, trying to look for something to distract themselves with. They can't just turn to alcohol whenever something goes wrong. Wait, isn't that the same thing they told Julian? 'The irony,' they chuckled at the thought, "I'm such an idiot," they thought as they took a glance at the window, trying to enjoy in the calm night, however, they were met with the sight of a drunk plague doctor breaking into the shop.

"Um," MC stared at the Julian who, somehow, got his legs tangled, "The doors were unlocked..."

"They... were?" he asked, reddening as he tried to get himself in the shop, "You should, you should know better," he didn't know what to say, so he just said the first thing that came to his mind, "What if, you know, someone was to-"

"Break in?" they finished his sentence with a sad smile. After they have gotten themselves together, they said: "Look, about drinking," MC said as they helped Julian get into the shop, "I was terrible, I shouldn't have put all of the blame on you."

"But, I-"

"Please, let me finish," MC stopped Julian before they could blame himself, "Let's be real, I was being a bitch even though I'm not doing any better than you are. I was a hypocrite," they looked at Julian in the eyes, "I don't want our relationship to fall apart because of vodka."

"Me neither," he hugged them, "I'm, I'm sorry," he said, accidentally letting out a sob.

"Me too," they hugged him back, snuggling their head in his chest, "Let's go back and talk about it tomorrow," they said as they left the shop with Julian.

Lucio:

"Could we please go somewhere quieter," MC asked Lucio as they tried not to spill champagne from their glass, "I don't like it here."

"Oh come on, just enjoy yourself," Lucio smiled, offering them his drink, to which MC reclined, "Don't be such a killjoy. You always enjoyed parties!"

"Well yes, but don't you think it's a bit more crowded than usual?" MC said as they glanced at the crowd of drunk men singing.

"So you've noticed it, too," he smiled proudly, "Isn't it amazing? People all over the world came to my party!"

"It is," MC nodded, "It's just that it's more than I expected..."

"Nobody expected it," he moved a strand of hair from MC's face, "But I'm glad. Come," he pulled them to the centre of the ballroom, "Let's dance~"

"Slow down," MC said, "Everyone is watching..."

"They should," he answered happily as he grabbed MC's hand, "Say, what's on your mind?"

"I'll be honest with you," they said with a sigh, "I saw you flirting with a maid, again."

"What maid," he chuckled nervously.

"Don't play dumb," they protested, getting a few glares from others, but they didn't care, "You know which maid. You know you shouldn't get intimate when you're in a relationship with someone else."

"Then what about you and Asra? The two of you are close," he blurted it out, trying to change the topic.

"Yes, because I've lived with them for three years," they noted, "But why does my relationship with Asra matter now?"

"Because you're saying to not be intimate with someone when you can comfortably change in front of them."

"Why does it matter? You know we've lived together, so it's only natural that we are close. I believe you know that we wouldn't do anything. You're just nitpicking. Lucio, please tell me, did you do it?" they pressed further.

He was silent for a moment, knowing there is no turning back. "Yes, I did it," he sighed, "It's not because I don't love you, I do," he started, breaking a bit when he saw MC's glossy eyes, "I just, don't know what got into me. It's just that I got so happy for a moment. We didn't do anything... too special," he blushed from embarrassment, "It was just a moment of weakness, I swear!"

"Look, I know what I did was terrible," he looked at the side, "And I don't have any excuse-"

"So why did you do it?" they asked him, tearing up, "You know how much it hurts me."

"I, I never intended to, it's just that I have been so stressed lately," he started explaining, "You know, with the problems with the South end. I just needed to... relieve myself, you know? Have some fun-"

"To relieve yourself?" they looked at him in disbelief, ignoring the crowd staring, "You're unbelievable!" they kept their composure even though they wanted to scream and shout. How could he do this to them again?!?

"I'm off to cheating to you with Asra," they said sarcastically, walking away from the ballroom, down the hallways. Where should they go? They took a glance at Lucio's chamber. 'Definitely not here,' they thought as they kept on walking, trying to walk through the crowds of people. After stumbling away from the huge crowd, they found themselves in front of the room where Nadia let her stay as a guest.

'How nostalgic,' they thought bitterly, walking inside. Everything stayed the same, making them remember how they came into the palace, how they were more of a detective than a magician. Laughing at the thought, they sat down on the bed, remembering how Mercedes and Melchoir dragged them into Lucio's room...

"MC, are you here?" Lucio asked, opening the doors, only to find MC sitting on the bed.

"I'm so sorry," He walked to them.

"Are you really, though?" they asked him, through tears.

"Of course I am," they stopped midtrack, getting hurt by MC's harsh words, "I hate to see you hurt like this."

"Then why did you cheat on me again?!?" they shouted at him, letting all of their frustration out, "First time, you fucked with Valerius while I was visiting Asra," they sobbed, reviving the old pain, "Who was so sick that they could barely talk."

"But, but," he stepped back, getting caught red-handed, "Haven't we already talked about this?"

"We have, but it looks like you never listened!" they quickly wiped off their tears, continuing to argue, "Or you just felt bad that you were caught!" they took a deep breath, trying their best to calm themselves down, "And I forgave you, I fucking forgave you because I believed your lies about how you didn't mean to, and how you've changed. Over time, it looked like you changed, it looked like you really regretted it."

"And I do, I truly do!" he tried to reason with MC, but to no avail.

"Bullshit! Looking back at it now, Valerius' apology was more honest than yours," they closed their eyes, remembering how sorry Consul looked when he saw them distressed, "One of the biggest gossipers in the palace was more honest than you..." they looked at Lucio with only anger in their eyes, "I believe that says a lot, doesn't it? You have to learn that your actions have consequences."

"I know that, I just make-"

"Little oopsies?" they continued, "I'm done being toyed with. Continue this party, and every other after this one, without me," they stood up from the bed, walking past Lucio, "I don't want to see you ever again."

"You, you don't mean it, do you?" he walked behind them, cold sweat running down their face.

MC stopped in their tracks, facing Lucio, "Look at me in the eyes and say I don't mean it," they looked at Lucio's devastated expression as the realization hit him, "Go on and fuck Valdemar now if you want to, I don't care anymore. Farewell," they told him as they got lost in the crowd of people, leaving him alone, again.

Valerius:

The most popular topic to gossip about lately has been Nadia's new partner and Valerius was enjoying every part of it, not just because a commoner and royalty were in a relationship, but also because making fun of some charlatan is always entertaining.

"I knew that Nadia never had a good taste, but this is a new low," praetor giggled.

"Let's be real for a second," Valerius smiled as he drank his wine, "Countess didn't fall for their looks."

"Agreed."

"And they aren't richer than her," he continued talking as he poured more wine, "So that leaves us with their... personality," he grimaced.

Praetor burst in laughter, "No way," he said as he brushed his tears off.

"But think about it," he persisted, "Is there any other thing that's interesting about them? Anything at all?"

"Hm," he stopped laughing and thought for a moment, "Give me a moment."

"I think you'll need more than just a moment," he smiled mischievously.

"And I think you can mind your own business, Consul," Mc said as they walked into the room, sitting right across the Consul, "Please leave us alone."

"Oh, would you look at that," Valerius looked at Mc, then at Vlastomil, who quickly saw himself out, "The witch decided to come out of their lair," he smiled uncomfortably as he drank even more.

"I believe you should stop with drinking," they said, "It seems that whenever you have too much of it, you say some rubbish that you might regret later."

"Is that a threat?" he raised his eyebrow, getting annoyed.

"I can assure you this conversation will be between the two of us," they said as they straightened their back, "We're both adults and I believe we can solve our problems on our own, no?"

Upon hearing that the countess won't know a thing, he calmed down, giving MC a smug smile, "Of course."

"Please, tell me," they didn't bother to hide their annoyance, "What do you have against me?"

"Well, I don't know," he played dumb, "Maybe I'm bothered that a nobody started to hit on Nadia for an obvious reason-"

"And what would that obvious reason be?"

"Money, fame, good position," he counted, "You know, all of the things that a witch couldn't get on their own."

"And what do you have against me doing magic?!?"

He raised his hands in defence, keeping his composure, "It's not that I have something against it, it's just that I believe it's useless. Everything that you do with your magic could be done with a more reasonable approach. Instead of healing potions," he rolled his eyes, annoyed that he even had to say such silly things out loud, "We can take medicine."

"And what about things that you can't replace with anything else, such as tarot readings?" they asked, clearly pissed.

"Why, what a ridiculous, yet expected question, coming from you," he sipped his wine, enjoying MC's reaction, "I don't need some stupid cards to tell me how I should live my life. I don't need to know my future, such knowledge would only hold me back, no?" he paused for a moment to enjoy MC's reddened face, "Knowing magic is not my business, and neither is it for any other person. It's useless!"

"What an interesting statement coming from someone who has been sticking their nose in other people's business," they responded with venom in their voice.

"So, you're not denying that magic is useless and as such you are worthless as well?" he smiled showing bitterness just as much as MC did.

"It is NOT useless!"

"But if it's as useful as you claimed it to be, then why aren't we all blessed with such an ability?"

"In conclusion," they took a deep breath, not letting their emotions get control of them, "You hate me just because I use magic?"

"Not just because of that," he corrected them, ignoring the fact that MC changed the topic, "I dislike you because you only know about magic and nothing else. You just don't bring anything good for Vesuvia. I agree," he paused to gulp wine, putting the glass back on the table, " Lucio was a terrible, barbaric ruler, but at the very least he knew how to deal with people. Too bad I can't say the same for you, but hey," he tilted his head giving MC a fake smile, "At least you're just as dumb as him. Honestly," he looked to the side, trying to make a sad face, "Nadia should have stayed with him, with the right approach, they could have made something of Vesuvia."

"Honestly," they stood up, not bothering to even look at Consul, "It's no use talking to you," they walked out of the room, saying, "Have a lovely day."

Valerius was left alone in the room, thinking about his actions. No, he doesn't regret what he said, but he realised that he might have gone a bit overboard. In the end, he stood up and went to look for the magician.

After checking every room in the palace, Valerius was convinced that magician went back to their shop.

'Why do they keep the shop open anyway?' he thought as he was about to take the carriage, he noticed the magician was still here, in the palace garden, sitting by the fountain. He sat next to them, without exchanging a word. After a couple of moments, MC said, not bothering to face Valerius:

"You know what pisses me off about you the most?" they asked, not bothering to wait for an answer, "I hate you as much as, probably even more than you hate me, yet I don't go around telling people you're a hopeless alcoholic," they said bitterly, turning to him, "Even though I strongly believe it."

"I," he looked to the side, embarrassed, "I may have used the wrong words to express myself."

"May have?" they repeated, chuckling.

'At least they cooled off,' they thought.

"I haven't changed my mind," he started explaining, "But I do believe it was rude to add Lucio into the conversation..." he stopped for a moment, thinking about everything rude he said, realizing the list is much bigger than he first thought it was, "And I shouldn't have degraded you by your profession, even though I still don't like it," he mumbled to himself.

"I never wanted you to like it," they stopped him, "But I appreciate the apology," they smiled, "Let's start over."

"Let's."

"But if I ever hear you gossiping about Nadia I'll put a hex on you," they warned him, chuckling at the thought.

"You can do that?" he asked, surprised.

"Well, I can't do anything big, I've never cursed someone before," they admitted, "But I'm confident I could curse you to taste spoiled milk every time you drink wine."

"So you can curse people?" he asked, intrigued.

"Why are you so interested in magic all of a sudden?" they asked, a bit worried by Consul's reaction.

He was silent for an awkward moment, only to respond with: "I have my reasons," he said with a mischievous smile. He stood up, going back into the palace, "I'll count on your knowledge of this dark magic, magician."

Hi it's that Donald Blake au anon, and I agree I don't like Donald in general it's weird and sometimes in the comics he has a stick that he's always holding onto then he bangs it and somehow becomes Thor, idk. But the au is something that really interested me cuz it has so much potential, like is Thor an Avenger in this au, does he have to wait til Loki is not looking to go and save the world? Or is he not worthy yet and somehow choosing to reveal himself to Loki the real way to be worthy?

Yeah, I’m kind of glad the writers and directors decided to leave out the whole “mild-mannered human alias” from the Thor franchise. Really, so many superheroes already have alter egos—Peter Parker is Spider-Man, Ryan Reynolds is Deadpool, literally every single one of the OG Avengers except Thor has another name—that for once it’s nice to just have Thor be Thor.

But as far as that brilliant idea you pitched, in the first couple drafts of my answer, I actually started to rewrite Thor (2011) to make your idea fit with canon. However, after getting stuck a couple times, I started thinking it might work better away from canon (specifically Earth 616), more like a true alternate universe, no Avengers or Thanos or anything. Or, to make things simpler, it could just be a Porn With Feelings deal where the story is driven by characters and drama (and, of course, porn).

For the PWP approach, Thor masquerades as an MD on Earth because he genuinely likes to help people and having a human form helps him escape detection, or possibly keep his powerful electromagnetic radiation field from harming humans. In any case, Loki is unaware of his brothers super-secret human identity.

Somehow Loki bites off more than he can chew or pisses off the wrong supervillain—it’s practically his hobby, isn’t it?—and ends up getting his ass beaten and thrown to Earth. Miraculously, Thor (as Don Blake) is there to help him, and Thor can’t risk getting his cover blown, so he just plays along while Loki regains use of his limbs and/or powers (a perfect opportunity for some hurt/comfort whump sickfic type tags). Thor brings Loki to his apartment until he can fully recover, and in that time, Loki finds himself bonding with this disabled and good-natured human man who reminds him so much of his brother… and thus begins the forbidden romance and angst-ridden relationship drama.

...okay, so the PWP setup actually has a lot more plot than your average smutfic. (But just think of all the opportunities for medical kink in this one. Like Loki pretending he feels hot and achy and insisting that Blake give him a thorough, private exam… on the kitchen table… with stethoscopes and tongue depressors and lots of poking and prodding and pelvic exams. Anyone? No? Just me?)

The actual canon setup is the one I tried (unsuccessfully) to write out, but here’s a bullet list of the basic plot (get comfortable, this gets kind of long):

After defeating the frost giants in Norway in 900-something, Odin secretly makes a deal with Laufey to raise Loki as his own son, then marry him off to Thor so they can establish everlasting peace with Jötunheim (just like Odin and Frigga did to stop the Æsir-Vanir war). Thor and Loki’s children will be heirs to both royal houses. Upon Thor’s ascension to the throne, Odin will then return the Casket of Ancient Winters to its rightful place, and Jötunheim will flourish again with Asgard as its protector/ally

Loki is a lot more autonomous and independent than his original cinematic depiction, traveling the realms to learn seiðr and be an ambassador (and cause mischief, naturally, but nothing that can’t be fixed or used to his advantage). He’s always held a secret torch for his brother but knows there’s little/no hope of it ever being reciprocated, thus he stays away from Asgard as much as possible

Thor loves and misses his brother (perhaps too much). Their parents would surely disapprove of their relationship, gods or not, and besides, Loki is too much of a free spirit, a wanderer, content with his own company. Asking anything more of him (like a grounded, committed relationship) is something Thor could never do

Loki returns to Asgard on the eve of Thor’s coronation with gifts and smiles, and Thor embraces him with deep affection. They almost confess their feelings to one another, but shy away at the last moment (damn!)

Meanwhile, Malekith the Accursed (comics version Malekith, who is a lot sexier and generally more interesting/diabolical than his MCU counterpart) doesn’t like that Laufey is planning to make peace with Asgard and sever his alliance with Svartalfheim, and somehow breaks into the Vault on Thor’s coronation day just so he can frame Laufey and sour the arrangement with Odin

Odin decides not to act, sure that something else must be going on. Loki decides to take the intellectual route and do some investigating while Thor and his warrior companions sneak into Jötunheim to kick some ass

Thor accuses Laufey of wrongdoing, just as Malekith wanted, and almost incites a war with the frost giants. Odin banishes him to earth to live as a disabled human man until he can learn some humility

After much screaming at the sky and manly weeping, Thor finally accepts his fate and his new human identity

Enough time passes (months? A year?) that Thor eventually learns to be humble and considerate, helping other humans physically and emotionally in the medical field (I imagine him becoming an orderly at a local hospital since being a doctor requires years of education and money. Also, being thrown to Earth without a penny to his name will help Thor work through some of his entitlement and privilege issues. I headcanon he was aided by some good-hearted humans who were able to find employment for him and a place to stay, help him get on his feet, basically)

With Thor out of the way and the royal family torn apart, Malekith begins preparing for his attack on Asgard

Loki doesn’t know that Thor is trapped in a human form, only that he was banished and all contact forbidden. Loki is suspicious of the frost giants and goes to Jötunheim alone, where Laufey reveals everything to him—including Loki’s betrothal to Thor

Loki is stunned at first, unable to believe that the thing he’s wanted most was always meant to be his, and he hurriedly leaves Jötunheim

He tries to sneak to Midgard without using the Bifrost, but Malekith catches him en route and they fight. He throws a binding spell on Loki to render him powerless and then beats the living daylights out of him

Loki crash lands on Earth not far from where his brother was banished (he had been following the last known path from Asgard to Midgard), and is rendered temporarily powerless and amnesiac, not remembering anything about his fight with Malekith, Thor’s banishment, or why he was on his way to Midgard

Loki wakes up in a hospital bed with a kind human man looking after him. After an unsuccessful escape attempt, he settles in and finds himself comforted by Donald Blake’s presence. It’s… soothing, somehow familiar…(maybe it’s the drugs talking)

Thor instantly recognizes his brother but he cannot reveal himself, either because he’ll look insane/lose his job or maybe Odin made it so he’s unable to even speak the name “Thor” until he’s worthy again. In any case, Thor decides it won’t hurt to beat Loki at his own game just this once (Loki has played this prank on him more times than Thor can count). He ends up taking Loki back home with him once he’s discharged from the hospital

As his memories and powers slowly return, Loki is surprised that Blake listens to and believes everything he claims to be, and soon grows to trust and even like the man. He’s never really had a true friend before… except for his brother, Thor, of course. Blake reminds him so much of Thor…

While things gradually heat up between Loki and Blake-Thor, Malekith disguises himself as Loki (just as he did in the War of the Realms comic arc) and returns to Asgard. Odin and Frigga learn that Loki had indeed traveled to Jötunheim and confront their “son” about what he might have learned there

Not knowing it’s actually Malekith they are speaking to, they reveal the truth about Loki’s parentage and upbringing, and the reasons for his betrothal. Malekith is shocked, then amused at his good fortune. He decides to use this information to his own advantage

Malekith plots to bring Thor back to Asgard and insist that they be married at once. Thor will be crowned king, and when Thor finishes swearing his oaths, Malekith will steal Gungnir and kill Thor with it (and the entire royal family of Asgard). He will then steal the Casket of Ancient Winters, return to Jötunheim, kill Laufey and all the rest of his clan, and then head to Midgard to finish off the last of that bloodline: Loki. Then, with the power of Gungnir, Mjölnir, and the Casket of Ancient Winters, nothing will be able to stop him from bringing war and chaos to the Nine Realms

My brain is smoking and on its last cylinder right now, and I know this post is already decades long, so I’m gonna cheat and skip the whole part where Thor and Loki somehow learn about Malekith’s plot (maybe the Warriors Four come to Earth to warn them), and Thor becomes worthy again, revealing himself to a stunned Loki, and they all go flying back to Asgard, beat Malekith in an epic battle, and save the day

Once the dust has cleared, Thor is crowned king to an audience of Æsir and Jötnar, followed immediately by his and Loki’s wedding. Everyone cheers, Volstagg weeps and uses Fandral as a handkerchief, and Malekith gets a tiny slice of the wedding cake down in the dungeons

It’s not too specific at all! This headcanon made my heart squeeze so hard I had to lay down for a solid minute before I could start writing😭

I hope that this was what you were looking for when requesting and that the rest of your day is swell!✨

When the both of you found out that the illness you had been diagnosed with was terminal, you looked up to Jotaro with worry in your eyes, his jaw clenched and you watched the muscle twitch but his expression remained still while the doctor informed him of how much time was was possibly left and what effects were going to eventually take place. Neither you or he wanted to believe what was being said, but there was no escaping the truth.

Jotaro made it a personal goal to spend every last second he possibly could with you. Not that he wouldn’t before, but with the lingering thought that you wouldn’t be alive with him forever crushes his heart and plagues his mind constantly when he isn’t with you from time to time. He’ll hold you tightly while you sleep as if it’s going to protect you from the oncoming future and it’s during these sometimes sleepless nights for you, you swear you hear him cry.

As time passes, you find yourself behind a blank canvas surrounded by all sorts of paints and brushes when he’s out taking care of work. Using one of his favorite pictures he captured of the ocean, the sky featured the setting sun with all sorts of oranges, yellows, and blues, the shimmering water mirroring the atmosphere. It was beyond perfect and you didn’t hesitate to begin one last painting that you poured your entire heart and soul into.

You were careful with every brush stroke, making sure that they were impeccable while your carefully trained eyes saw the picture before it even existed. Just like a sculptor who looks at a block of stone or even clay, they see their vision in the object and break away the mold to present their creation and it’s very much the same when it comes to a canvas of any kind.

Though through the months that passed, you worked the hardest you ever could to perfect the painting until your tired hands were finally finished. Sitting back you admire the work as you rub the oncoming tears out of the corner of your eyes, the canvas featured the ocean sunset with Jotaro standing in it knee deep as he was staring out into the vast ocean horizon.

While the love of your life was currently out you let the paint dry the rest of the way before finding a home for the large canvas in the closet of his office room. A gift from one love to another, the craftsmanship that went into the detailed paint strokes and vibrant colors made for one hell of a final gift and it was worth every second of every hour, just like the life you lived with the most amazing person on earth.

However, when the day came when Jotaro could no longer hold you in his arms, he spent hours sitting in his office chair with his hands folded under his resting chin thinking back on your marriage when you both said “I do.”, the stories of your past, and the adventure that was both of your lives together. He felt broken not having you by his side while his life continued like normally, but when he was given a project for work that involved travel, he made his way for the closet in his office in which his suitcases lay in wait.

Little does he know that when he opens the closet door, he notices a canvas that was slid in on its side, something he knows was never there before. Pulling it out all the way, he turns it so that he can see the painted image and immediately he’s internally floored. His eyes scanned over the wonderful painting of himself standing within one of his favorite places he had visited, then his eyes landed on the signature at the bottom with smaller writing below, the text bring him to tears because he can hear you say it.

“I love you.”

Reasons for each character’s alignment:

*Frey/Lest has been thrown into a crazy new life and are friends with a dragon and they take down an evil old dude and his empire. And they fight monsters all the time. They say fuck as stress relief! And out of exasperation and anger too! (And plus my headcanon is Frey is a chaotic bisexual. I wish I could wife up all the women as Frey. I just prefer her to Lest, but I absolutely love Dolce, so I made a Lest for her.)

*Dolce has a dirty mouth because of her ability to contact ghosts (*cough cough* PICO) and she’s the classiest motherfucker ever. She is my wife, one of many. (She however doesn’t swear in front of Nancy. I’ll explain in a minute.)

*Dylas swears all the time. So does Doug. They have swear offs in the town square. (Dylas has swore in front of customers multiple times. There’s a pool at the restaurant between Porcoline, Margaret and Arthur to count his swears, and the winner gets the gold at the end of the week. Also Doug swears in front of Blossom because it’s his one act of rebellion against her and he wants to see how much he can get away with.)

*Bado used to be as foul-mouthed as Dylas and Doug but when his friends (Forte and Kiel’s parents) died and he fostered their kids, he cut back on his swearing so they wouldn’t pick up the habit (and it worked!)

*Blossom has mentioned that she was A LOT like Doug when she was younger. (And also that she looked just like Forte.) As a young woman, her mouth put sailors to shame! She was 10x worse than Dylas and Doug. I headcanon that she used to have a bar, and ran one until she adopted Doug. (She was a bar lady yes!) When Doug came into her life, she decided to stop swearing, and she mellowed out. (She doesn’t approve one bit of Doug’s swearing, but doesn’t say anything because she used to be just like him.)

*Nancy I headcanon was similar to Blossom-she swore a lot as a younger woman, but she toned it down to impress Jones and cut it out when they got married. She also doesn’t approve of Dolce’s swearing and gives her a lecture on how she isn’t mad, she’s just disappointed with it (because she doesn’t want Dolce to make her mistakes).

*Ventuswill used to swear but since she’s so long-lived she got bored of swearing. She knows every single way to say fuck and has invented some.

*Clorica I honestly can’t explain why. She just has the personality and look.

*Jones can say fuck, he’s just not interested because he’s a doctor and he thinks he has to be professional. Also he doesn’t swear because he doesn’t want to offend Nancy, who thinks he’s such a sweet-talker (he doesn’t know how dirty her mouth was before she fell in love with him).

*Lin Fa is a ditz. Her use of fuck would either be for the entertainment of the customers or because she would say it and not know what it means, but assumes it’s “trendy”.

*You cannot tell Leon and Porcoline what to do. EVER. Do not try. They can say fuck whenever they want. They just haven’t yet. They love the element of surprise.

*Margaret is one of my girls and I love Forte’s musician girlfriend/wife. That said, she doesn’t swear, and she gatekeeps everyone else’s swearing too. It’s a pain in the ass to swear in front of her, because she will lecture you until the sun goes down. So no, she doesn’t say fuck nor will she ever.

*Forte is the town knight. She is formal. She does not swear and never has.

*Volkanon and Vishnal are PROUD butlers and they would never SOIL themselves with foul language.

*Arthur is a prince. He’s refined. (However, what keeps him from being in the legally unable to say fuck category is the fact he admits he’s a man before a prince. So there’s a potential to say fuck, but he won’t.)

*Kiel and Amber are BABIES and they do not even know fuck exists. Do not tell them. I will extract vengeance upon you if you do.

*Xiao Pai is also baby, but the reason she can’t say fuck is because of her accent and her worldwide travel experiences. She doesn’t know fuck or how to say it.

*Luna/Noel are literal precious babies. Nobody swear in front of them. The vengeance promise still stands if you do.

(Not pictured: Pico doesn’t say fuck because she’s so old. She’s from a time where fuck wasn’t a word. She does have extremely creative swears-wait on second thought that might be demonic chanting. She might be cursing you. Don’t make her mad please.

*Illuminata used to swear a lot, but when she became a detective she cut off her swearing habit because ‘proper detectives’ don’t swear.)

Tawna:

i headcanon tawna has been a big influence on the events of the series between games one and two, especially because her high intelligence and headstrong personality, going out of her way to change things for the better while waiting for crash to save her, tawna really wreaked havoc on the scientists, constantly fighting against experimentation and trying to match wits with them. however, she did spare some kindness for the other mutants she was trapped with, especially pinstripe she made good friends with the nitro squad before crash came to save her, helping each of them with their own personal issues and generally bringing them together after she was rescued and cortex went missing, tawna convinced crash to go back and rescue some of the other bandicoots before they were mutated, sorta like the plot of that cancelled crash game, crash landed ps1 tawna, during this rescue operation, met up with pinstripe again after cortex had abandoned him. while crash was off rescuing bandicoots, tawna spent more time with the reforming pinstripe until she eventually decided to leave crash entirely and go traveling with pinstripe hd tawna however, during the new bandicoot rescue mission, met up with the nitro squad again and decided to help them escape. remembering her friendship with the girls, she decided to traveling with them instead, leaving crash on better terms

Isabella:

she is a bisexual trans woman and has been working for years to maintain her pretty high femme image and to learn english! when isabella was evolved, she spoke very little english but very fluent italian, possibly because of the DNA cortex used. while the doctors were busy trying to make her into a weapon, megumi had to take extra time to teach her english isabella hated the dark and gloom of the castle, and was scared of cortex. but the other bandicoots were like a light at the end of the tunnel for her, with how kind they were to her and each other. especially the girls. with isabella associating happiness and purity with the women in her life, she realized she wanted to be a girl instead, so she could be happier. cortex wasn't a big fan though, since isabella going soft meant she wouldn't make a very good weapon she also met tawna at some point before she left, and tawna was a big role model for her during her early transition. it's the main reason why isabella and tawna look so similar, because isabella's greatest example of womanhood was tawna in the ps1verse, isabella cheers on the bandicoot team in ctr because they remind her of tawna. but because she's been brainwashed she doesn't have clear memories of her, just a vague fondness towards bandicoots. in the HDverse, isabella gets to thank tawna for her guidance in traversing her gender, and she becomes more calm yet confident, very self-assured. she's very meticulous in terms of doing her makeup/managing her appearance, but it makes her feel whole isabella also likes the high life and anything classy. at some point she dates pinstripe because he seems classy and cool, and pinstripe just wants a trophy girl to have fawning over him

Ami:

ami is a butch lesbian who loves to work out, but she's also dumb as bricks. she learned to be strong from cortex's other minions (like tiny, koala kong, etc.) but specifically uses her strength to protect her friends and to Respect Women she was created some time after megumi and experimented on to make her strong, like how tiny had been made previously. it worked partially, making her buffer and more nimble, and especially easily persuaded by power the downside was that it made her horrendously stupid. like "what animal is the pink panther" levels of stupid. that worked for cortex though, considering the last time he tried to make an intelligent super mutant, he made ripper roo. anything was better than roo. she wasn't very susceptible to hypnotism, as megumi found out. but she was very easily impressed by displays of strength and power, so she soon became friends with tiny and the other buff mutants. their collective lack of intelligence was great for cortex. in the ps1 timeline, after the trophy girls escape, ami still cheers on most of the villain characters because she admires their strength and thinks they're super cool. plus she still remembers her friendship with tiny and any friend of tiny's is a friend of hers but in the HD timeline, ami is more friendly with the other bandicoots, and appreciates their friendship. after megumi helps them escape, ami gets inspired to use her strength to protect her friends instead of just showing off. she's also madly in love with them for being so nice and so pretty, especially after tawna helps her realize she's lesbian

Liz:

headcanon that liz is kinda smart, enough to trick cortex and the other scientists into thinking she was already evil. liz is a bit smarter than both isabella and ami, although she's still of pretty average intelligence at best. she's very self serving, which keeps her intelligence and character from shining fully. upon her evolution, liz realized that the other mutants were being put through the cortex vortex to become slaves to cortex, and she wasn't really a big fan of losing her autonomy like that. so instead, she decided to pretend to be a brainwashed mutant and be obedient to cortex cortex was easily fooled by liz's act, as she did a pretty good job of acting evil. if anything, she already had a bit of a propensity towards the dark side, since she actually liked the doom and gloom of cortex castle upon the squad's escape, while she did avoid going through the cortex vortex, PS1 liz was still brainwashed by megumi and did lose her memories of cortex castle, greatly changing her personality. she still loved attention, since she did various photoshoots for bandiboy magazine, but she had more of a propensity for the light side now, loving cute animals like pura and polar. they remind her of creatures shes seen before, but cant remember where from. HD liz however retained her gothic edge. she loves the lights and glamour of fame and fortune, racing solely for a chance in the spotlight. but beyond that, she loves to spend her time in the shadows...

Megumi:

Evil Megumi headcanon time! since megumi hands out trophies to the scientists in the original CTR, it makes sense she would secretly be evil. so I imagine her as a pseudoscientist named Dr M. Brace! this would canonically be after crash 1 and before ctr, but megumi was the one of the first bandicoots sent through the evolvoray, and then exposed to a minor dose from the cortex vortex as an experiment by cortex. the experiment worked! megumi became a highly intelligent and cunning bandicoot willing to serve cortex in his plans and help him control other animals to be his minions. she proposed to the doctors an easier strategy to ensnare the island's creatures; lure them in with affection and then capture them, rather than grabbing them up in nets or whatever. cortex was on the fence about it, but n brio was willing to help her out with this idea. n brio helped her create two devices that would help her capture creatures: the rose tinted goggles to hypnotize animals into loving her, and the stun gloves to incapacitate them. while megumi was enjoying capturing animals and doing evil research at first, eventually she witnessed the creation of isabella, ami, and liz. she saw other bandicoots like her, that she could talk to and relate to, rather than constantly being influenced by the other scientists and since she hadn't been hit by the full effect of the cortex vortex, she still had it in her to turn over a new leaf. eventually she decided to help the girls escape. one night, she used her stun gloves on all the doctors in the facility and snuck the girls out. in the PS1 version of the ending, megumi was afraid the squad wouldn't like her if they knew all the bad things she had done, so she hypnotized them into forgetting their time in cortex castle. eventually they all move on and become the trophy girls, but are still brainwashed however, in the HD ending, megumi meets tawna sometime before she ran off with crash, and tawna instills in her the confidence she needs to have faith in her new nitro squad friends, without needing her goggles or gloves to change their minds megumi helps the squad escape. and this time she swears to never use the goggles and gloves for evil again, gaining the trust of the nitro squad. sometime down the line they meet up with tawna again, and she suggests they all form a racing team together. they all become great friends, megumi atones for her past, and they make for the coolest racing team anyone's ever seen. the end.

Taking Care of Sick S/O Headcanons (Edgar, Luka, Blanc)

anon: HCs of Edgar, Luka, and Blanc taking care of their S/O when sick? Thanks!

A million apologies for how long this took, but I think I’m finally back in the game. Please don’t kill me because my skills are still rusty at the moment.

Edgar Bright

Now Edgar would realize his S/O was under the weather before a fever even occurs. Their voice has less energy than usual and their skin is pale with purple rings around their eyes. Although he wouldn't want to jump the gun, he’d definitely keep a steady eye to ensure that it doesn’t get worse.

Edgar is willing to drop everything to be at your side. Although he’s a busy man, he’s also a man with incredible time management and work ethic (so he’ll be able to clear an entire day dedicated just for his S/O). There’ll be lots of opportunities for some quality time as his S/O gets their rest.

He’s pretty much perfect at everything, so don’t be surprised when he does a fantastic job of taking care of his S/O. Even though he’s not a doctor, he knows a lot of general techniques and methods to make you feel better.

One of them happens to be feeding them all the jellybeans (and other sweets) that they want! He knows the power of sugar and how it can brighten anyone’s day, so he’ll definitely give them as many as you want despite Kyle’s orders. Don’t be surprised if Edgar ends up feeding them himself.

He knows almost all of his S/O’s needs before they even mention anything. Edgar is very good at reading people, especially his loved one, so this will come as no surprise. Sometimes he’ll bring items that his S/O never knew they needed, but heavily appreciates. Whether its blankets, pillows, food or entertainment, Edgar has everything ready.

Leave it to this man to feed his S/O with the kindest words for support. He’ll hold their hand and squeeze it, especially when they really feel like their immune system is failing them. If there are any headaches, Edgar will gently massage their temples to lessen the head pain. If they need help getting up to go to the bathroom (or other basic functions), Edgar will hold them by their waist and guide them to their destination (maybe they’ll get carried bridal style if his S/O wants it).

Although he’ll be super kind towards his S/O in this time, Edgar would still throw a few teasing remarks here and there. His energetic and fiery S/O could help defeat Amon, but they were squirming under their blankets because of a small cold? That’s the perfect occasion for Edgar to swoop in with a witty comment while ruffling their hair with a small laugh.

The only thing that might get to compromise is if his S/O threatens to sneeze on him.

Luka Clemence

A lot of you people are probably going to go “awww our soft bb boi will be so flustered skskksksks” but I’m here to object to that mentality. He’s definitely our soft bb boi, but he’s not helpless when it comes to taking care of his sick S/O.

When Luka first notices that his S/O isn’t feeling well, he’ll pull them to the side and check on them. Despite his S/O’s protests, Luka can’t help but worry that it might be bigger than a cold. When the cold morphs to a fever, Luka will be dedicated to getting his S/O back on their feet.

I swear on my soul that Luka Clemence makes the best soup ever. How do I know? Because I was there to eat it myself and my pores were cleared, my wig was snatched, and my grades went up all in that one sitting. His S/O will probably just be eating his soup all day because it’s warm, delicious, and really hits the itch at their throat. His soup would probably contain a deliciously savory yet tangy broth, slightly spicy chicken, and sauteed vegetables that enhance the flavor of the soup. It’s nourishing, filling, and makes them feel infinitely better.

Since he wants his S/O to do minimal work, he’ll definitely feed them himself. Luka will prop his S/O on their pillow so he can feed them his delicious bowl of soup. With each spoon, he’ll come closer to avoid the possibility of a mess. However, it’s hard to miss the soft pink that tints his cheeks when he’s a spoon away from his lover.

This will probably be the only time that Luka lets his S/O decorate his hair and that’s because there’s nothing worse than being sick and bored. The things his lover could do are now out of reach and Luka only wants them to be happy. So he’ll give in to their pleas about styling his hair, watching from the mirror as they create waves, braids, and an elegant updo. For someone who was bedridden, his S/O seemed really good at hairdos. Maybe he’ll wear them a few more times.

He also provides herbal teas throughout the day. One of the most important things for a sick person is that they stay hydrated throughout the day, and Luka knows this all too well. If his S/O isn’t in the mood for some water, then he has plenty of other options available. There’s clove, ginger, and honey or the classic green tea. If there’s a drink that his S/O has in mind, Luka will be able to provide them in no time. Just be careful, these may not be as tasty (because the health benefits will be thrown out the window if he adds too much sugar).

Blanc Lapin

Since Blanc has traveled to our world before and seen quite a bit of it, he knows about the efficiency and effectiveness of modern medicine. So he’ll understand how difficult it is for his lover to deal with sickness without ibuprofen and paracetamol. Luckily, he’ll be able to get some Cradle medication from Kyle that has a similar effect. But he’ll make a mental note to get medicine from the Land of Reason during his next visit.

To distract his beloved from the icky feeling of sickness, Blanc will tell them some of his favorite tales about the Cradle. As the record keeper, there are so many stories at his fingertips that are bound to entertain his S/O. He’ll tell a few different stories: some comedy, some romance, and some action-packed (where the hero saves the day). He might even throw in a classified event, changing some of the details and portraying it as a fictional tale. His S/O listens with full concentration, trying to imagine the entire story within their heads.

He is also very patient with his sick S/O. Blanc will have no qualms about listening to their complaints because there’s nothing great about being sick. He’ll make sure that everything he does is for their health, even though they may not be fond of it. If they’re babbling instead of complaining, he’ll always be listening to them and giving them his full attention. Blanc finds it rather adorable that his lover still has the same passion for their favorite subjects even though they’re burning with a fever.

Need help getting changed? Our favorite rabbit boi has got your back (literally). He’s a gentleman so he won’t peek as he’s helping cleaning his S/O or to getting them changed into a fresh set of clothes. He’ll use one hand to support their back and the other to help his S/O place the right body parts into the right sleeves of their clothes. His hands are cool against his lover’s searing skin. The only thing from keeping Blanc from spending the night with them is that they need rest.

When his S/O is feeling sleepy, Blanc will place a soft kiss on both of their eyelids and stay with them until they fall asleep. He’ll drape the blanket over their body and pull it close to their face, only to see a giggling S/O watching him with their eyelids half-open. He’ll tell them that its better for them to go to sleep.

“I know, but I want you to be the last person I see before I go to sleep. That way I can dream about you.”

Their babbling is so cute that Blanc can’t resist giving them one final kiss before they drift asleep.
