So I have an idea I wanna share and I'm tagging in DpxDc so they can use it as well but it can be used for any DP writing FYI.

I love, love, love the idea of Danny showing to a summoning or anything like either as a Ghost King, an Ancient, or as an eldritch being, or just as a powerful, powerful ghost with all the fanfare. Let it be loud, let it be grand, let the world surrounding them suddenly be ripped away, etc etc let all of that happen. I love it.

But wanna know would be the best way to have him leave?

Just have him disappear.

Like no really.

Just have him smile or make a joke, have him start walking away and then he's just gone. He just fades out like nothing.

If you wanna make if a creepy maybe have his footsteps still be heard for a few more steps before he's gone if you want.

But still just have him leave with no big way.

It makes EVERYTHING unnerving when someone big and powerful just... leaves like a normal way.

Because it means they didn't have to make a scene when entering. It means they could had appeared as normal as possible.

And no one would had known otherwise.

Either if they appeared or not. Or if they even left.

I wanna see this more in DP stories.

hi! i mean this genuinely and i hope it isnt rude to ask, totally feel free to ignore if you prefer not to answer! but ive been wondering, what makes you seemingly so attached to your polish heritage? as a polish person myself, who has lived in poland their whole life, i just find it interesting, because i find that im almost... ashamed of my own nationality. im sure you are aware that poland isnt the most progressive, especially with the current government, and it is in many ways far behind many other european countries. again, i mean no disrespect to you and also im literally polish myself so its just a lot of conflicting feelings, and it makes me curious to see an immigrant who seems to talk about the country mostly positively. (also im sorry about the situation with your family, i hope you get to come here on your own at some point! <3)

oh yeah no i totally get you, i feel ashamed of how backwards and bigoted the country can be and i'm not some kind of proud nationalist who'll defend its ugliness. and i worry sometimes that i'll make people feel unsafe or uncomfortable by mentioning my heritage because of that. i suppose i'm just attached to the way i feel like i'm home when i'm there, in the town i was born in and the places i've visited. i'm attached to the good memories i have of the food and culture and scenery and people i've encountered who made it a beautiful place to live. and a lot of my family were wiped out during ww2, so i guess i'm attached to being alive and proof that they failed to destroy us completely? but i definitely don't think it's all sunshine and roses and pretty stereotypes.

as for bit of lore, i'm not really sure. i feel like 'bit of lore' is really weird to define, bc ultimately most lore is all connected into bigger pictures. obviously i'm partial towards liyue lore in general, but as for a specific little bit...

update: hello frens! its been a bit since i’ve uploaded any beth n cherry and im sorry for being MIA! im trying to carve some time to focus on the comic again because my heart ACHES for these girls rn. they’ve got cabin fever stuck in my head lol

i had a busy summer, moved from my apartment at the end of summer nd worked in the fall to get stuff done, and then pushed to make my own 2024 calendar and got em printed! :D i travelled to the states to visit my fiance for 3 weeks and im back home and settled now

all that is to say i’m going to work on beth n cherry again and i’ll let you know when i have a bit of a backlog and when to expect more pages :3 thank you always 💖🍒🌾

started wondering why lg imprinted on og!cxs enough to go back and save him. came to the conclusion that cxs's impulsiveness in helping people would be a pretty good candidate given it's one of his key chara traits. and idk how likely it is at this stage so don't want to delve too deeply into it but the implications compel me so much.

lg imprinting on cxs directly mirroring ltc imprinting on lx. someone being cool because of how they just go for it as something to be admired. the way that lg's rules are basically aimed at stamping out cxs's intentions to interfere massively to help others. at what point do you change the person you're trying to save so much that they become unrecognisable. at what point do you change yourself in service of an aim until you're the antithesis of what you once admired.
