#my art #this is how I think theyd present themselves either in person or in headspace. the slouchers <3 #sifs outfit is simple; the boots i always give them (but with star laces for funsies); loose sweater; simple pants #the pants are Meant to be jeans but isat doesnt Specifically Have Jeans so. theyre just Pants.#the sweater is slightly looser bc sif doesnt seem like a Form Fitting Clothes kinda guy to me but hes Trying to be more open #on particularly good days theyll roll the sleeves up or wear a sleeveless one methinks #even if everyone Knows abt the self-harm scars its hard to Look at them.#i also associate them being more open with them not wearing an eyepatch. esp bc hes the only one of the three to go without it #for mal (or 'ami' as i like to call it) i wanted smth reminiscent of a mourning outfit bc mal du pays means homesickness #and i picked 'ami' as a nickname bc ami means friend :] at least according to my basic translator. i dont speak french <3 #ami's outfit being dark is also reminiscent of the inversion thing its got going on in canon.#ik the veil is starred in the original but i think ami would want the fewest reminders of home. on account of The Issues #(actually if i can come back to sifs laces sif also has issues with reminders of it bc of the memory loss but the shoelaces are His Choice—#—which gives them a form of control over it and they can keep it subtle or undo it if he wants. which makes it easier)#anyway. i put amis hair in an updo and smoothed the hat bc i think ami wants to be Unremarkable. Unknown. so it keeps its silhouette Simple #(it still keeps the pins. theres smth comforting abt them. they shine like stars and theyre not stars and theyre not Home. but theyre You.)#and i kept the long hair i gave loop. dont ask me why its so long when the canon hair is short. maybe their hair kept growing over the loop #OH and i drew ami in a side profile bc Silhouette and also bc i think itd make an effort to keep people away from its blind spot #andddd i think thats about it? plus i actually managed to keep this one within a reasonable timeframe.#if their hair changes lengths/the proportions change between drawings. no they dont 💛 peace and love and body craft #OH AND YOU FINALLY GET TO SEE WHAT I MEAN ABT SIFS BOOTS BC THESE ARE THE BOOTS I GAVE THEM ON MY REGULAR DESIGN ARENT THEY NEAT #i did actually try to give sif a different font but nothing Works for them like the pixel font. i cant explain it.#i think 'ami' would be a nickname that mira gives it. bc. shes Fantasy French. and its a sort of 'youre more than your yearning/loss' thing #me every time i think abt sifstem: yeah they just rotate in my head. nothing major #me every time i talk abt sifstem: oh hey im almost at tag limit again #au Good what can i say

i think that sonic would be an earth pony because hes just some guy who's really powerful for no reason and knuckles and amy are also earth ponies. and silver would be a unicorn and rouge would be a bat pony like fluttershy in that one episode. and blaze would be either a unicorn or an alicorn depending on which mlp generations rules we are following. this is what i believe

#hi ive been watching a lot of mlp lately sorry. so im gonna assign sonic characters #mlp species completely unprompted because i can #im not sure about tails tbh #with tails the problem is that like. ok he can fly so youd think he should be a pegasus right #but he can onyl fly because he has two tails and the fact that he has two tails and flies with them is considered weird #so i feel like him just being a pegasus who is supposed to be able to fly would be. not very fitting #but idk what a good alternative would be #i cant decide with shadow either part of me thinks he should be an alicorn because ultimate lifeform #but i also kind of think he should just be a really powerful unicorn. if he was an alicorn though #he would be an alicorn regardless of what generations rules we are following because hes a weird little freak #also charmy would be a flutter pony in g1 and a breezie in the other gens because hes a bee #and cream isnt a bug but she can fly and gives me flutter pony vibes so she'd be a flutter pony in g1 too #she would just be a pegasus in other generations though #ok thats all i cant think of anything else right now.#Also what i meant with the part with blaze is that in g4 onwards where you have to be an alicorn to be a princess #she would be an alicorn. but in older gens where alicorns dont exist and any pony species can be royalty she'd be a unicorn #sorry i know most people only really care about g4 and only take g4s species rules into account when designing pony versions #of characters but i really love g1 and g3 as well as g4 so i like to consider those when thinking about this stuff too

i just got done with my third chiro appointment, and like. I've noticed a significant improvement in terms of how much pain I'm in but I'm also noticing i can't like. stay sitting up. I can sit, which isn't always the case, but the muscles in my back are so loosey goosey/ not responding/ spasming that I keep curling forward until my head is almost pressed to the bed in front of me while I'm sitting cross legged. Don't know what that's about but it's affecting productivity something awful.

#like #i have shockingly good muscle tone considering how little i can move so this isnt a strength issue.#Ish. Like. the thing with eds is that if you have it severe enough your muscles have to pick up the slack for your ligaments #which results in you building way more muscle than you would expect #I cant lift more than 25lbs in like a bag or something without dislocating my elbows/shoulders #but i can bench 180~ and barbell squat my own weight #its just a matter of not pulling on anything #Tbh i think this is just the level of Nonsense that happens when my muscles arnt constantly tense.#my ligament structure isnt sturdy enough to work without that extra reinforcement #Anyways ive needed a back brace since i was 12 but insurance wont pay for it and like fuck am i able to shell out the 20k myself.#Ive looked into corsets but my proportions are so weird that id need a custom pattern #which is Pricey to get from a reputable company. like 2-3k which is better than 20. but still out of reach.#Im not confident enough in my drafting ability to make one myself.#seeing ms.banner. a real and skilled seamstress who knows what shes doing. lay herself out with a bad corset pattern is kinda #a good sign that maybe i an idiot whos sewing experience is stuffed animals and quilts. should not fuck around with my spinal health #I think id be more comfortable doing it myself if there were more mens corset patterns and more examples of how non #lingerie mens corsets are like. meant to work #i dont exactly need bust support. and most women's corsets dont have the shoulder support mens do. and thats like.#the area im most scared about fucking up bc its already a nightmare #tbh when i get the sg shop open im putting all the profits into a savings account and just working hard to get the budget to pay #for a proper corset.
