#i want him to know that zoro will always pick up his boots for him
Text
imagine sanji realizing he loves you
Tumblr media
The sound of his boots hitting the pavement rang in the air as Sanji walked alongside Nami; he was holding her shopping bags as a few of the others pressed ahead. Cigarette forever perched in the corner of his mouth, he listened as Nami rattled off a list of things she still needed to purchase. Usually he'd love being the navigator's little errand boy but lately, even that felt flat.
His eyes focused on the back of your head, hair down and unruly as always. You were walking between Robin and Zoro, leaning into the latter a bit as you had just left a tavern. Sanji had kept a close watch out at the bar, cutting you off after a few drinks but he smiled as Zoro brushed you off and Robin steadied you with two helpful hands.
"You're always staring at her, Sanji and not in that perverted way."
The cook stopped in his tracks and Nami smirked, reaching for her bags in his hands. He wanted to feel his heart racing with her so close, looking so beautifully but he felt a familial warmth and it shocked him. "Nami..."
She smiled contently. "It's okay, you know, to just love one woman. I think you picked a really good one! She loves you too, but she won't make the first move. She's too stubborn for that."
Stunned, he could only stand there as Nami hurried along - calling for him to follow. He snapped out of his own thoughts of what he was feeling, what he felt every time you looked at him and he rushed after his friends. He reached the group and casually motioned for Robin to let you go. He gracefully slipped an arm around your waist and when your head moved to see who was holding you, the biggest smile appeared on your face. Nami mentioned loudly that she needed to do more shopping and Robin, wholeheartedly, agreed to join her while Zoro followed with promises of a new bottle of sake.
"Where's everyone going?"
Sanji smiled as you leaned against his body as he adjusted his arm around your waist. "Shopping, but I'm taking you back to the Sunny. You need sleep."
"Sleep sounds nice..." you threw an arm around his neck and your whole body collapsed against his strength. Sanji chuckled as he lifted you up into his arms, holding you tightly against his chest.
Nuzzling your head against his shoulder, you murmured something so quietly he had to ask you to repeat it. You sighed as he continued to walk, effortlessly carrying you in his arms. "I said you are a very nice man, Sanji. Sweet....and the best cook in the world. I wish..."
Sanji stopped, gaze casting down on you; he smiled when he felt that intense thumping in his chest. The beating of his heart in a rhythm that felt like a song he had never heard before and when your eyes met his, it felt like his heart shattered and in its place, a new one formed.
"I - I love you."
The expression on your face softened and Sanji relaxed. "You might not remember this, but when you're sober, I'll tell you again."
"I won't forget," you promised, reaching up to pluck out the cigarette in his mouth. He grinned when you tossed it aside and leaned in for a kiss. He kissed you softly, pressing his forehead against yours.
"I love you too...but I really need to get some sleep."
Sanji laughed, agreeing as he continued down the path back to the ship. You told him you could walk but he refused to put you down - the love of his life wasn't going to walk a step if she didn't have to. He said so with pride in his eyes and who were you to deny him such a thing?
Relaxing in his arms, your eyes remained on him as he talked about what he was going to cook for dinner and as he rattled off different recipes, you realized listening to him talk about cooking felt like a soft lullaby. When he asked what you thought, you could only smile at him.
"Whatever you cook will always be good, Sanji."
The boyish expression of joy and delight painted his face wonderfully against the setting sun, and the two of you continued the journey back to the ship knowing everything had changed in a matter of minutes. Sanji and you were going to embark on the Sunny together, and every time the two of you stepped off the great vessel - it would be together.
"Can we kiss later?"
The question from your unsober mouth brought out a low laugh from Sanji and he nodded furiously, pressing a kiss onto your forehead. "As long as you want, but you have to get sober first."
"Black coffee than, okay?"
The cook agreed, the Sunny in the distance. He inhaled the fresh air and reminded himself to thank Nami later because if it wasn't for her, he'd never have the courage to tell you how he felt. Lemon bon bons, he'd make her that but not before getting some coffee and food in you - because from here on out, you were his first priority.
"Come on, sweetheart," he murmured, eyes smiling down on you. "Let's get you some coffee."
"Thank lots of kissing?"
Sanji grinned. "Oh, so much kissing."

Zoro’s relationship with the women in his life is so sweet to me when I start thinking about it. It’s like he’s a magnet for emotionally avoidant ladies who would have a soft side for an idiot little brother. Though mostly I think he’s a just an easy target for women to bully lol. Perona , and nami in a room together is zoros worst nightmare. Robin and kuina could have him shaking in his boots all on their own so he doesn’t even want to think about what they’d be like all together. (This is going to be a loong ramble.)
It was fine when it was just kuina. At the time he’d gag if you asked if they were siblings. They weren’t family , they were rivals. When she passed , it hurt. He corrects people when they say she was his friend. No , she was his nakama. His sister. Now all he has of her is her dream and her sword and though it was lonely , it was enough. He didn’t realize how big the hole she left in him actually was until nami.
Going from being alone all the time to suddenly having a girl next to him , taking care of the things he never thinks to pay attention to , changes something. Luffy may be their leader but nami guides them , she steers them to clear waters and is one of the only logical people on the crew. Then arlong park happens , and he hears her story , he meets her sister , he sees the land and people that are so important to her she’d die to protect them. By the time they hit the grand line zoro already knows that he’ll protect nami with everything he has cause the thought of losing another sister scares him more than he wants to admit. He’s gonna make sure she will achieve her dream on her own.
Then vivi joins their crew. The boys on the ship are not used to having another girl and while it can be annoying at times , it is nice having them. And it’s fun to make fun of nami’s very obvious crush on the princess. They bond over insulting each other’s sexuality. When they leave alabasta he knows the whole crew will miss her , nami will miss her , but he admires the strength it took for her to say and attend to her duties instead of running away with them.
Robin is .. hard to be around at first. He believes her somewhat when she says she simply has nowhere else to go. But that doesn’t mean he trusts her. He almost pities her when he thinks about the back story he knows of her. The demon child , a girl who has had to run her whole life simply for existing as she does. But he knows better. She’s had to fight tooth and nail for her life. And she still fights. When the straw hats tear down her only means of survival , even when the only person who saw value in her life decides she’s useless , she doesn’t stop living. She chose to get on their ship and have them take her in.
He watches how she settles into the crew. Her quiet knowledge , her dry humor , her ever watchful eye , the kindness she gives without asking for a thing in return. Chopper , zoro thinks , is the first person robin truly let’s her guard down for. And cause chopper is almost always within 10 feet of zoro she lets her guard down around him by proxy. Honestly they bond over the protectiveness they feel over him.
When water 7 happens he knows she still wants to live , to be with them. He knows she’s doing this to protect the straw hats , luffy would never let her make that sacrifice. When all is said and done and they have her back , her tells her about kuina. ‘You’re not allowed to die before you achieve your dream. I won’t let you.’ He hates showing weakness but when hands start to shake as he speaks , he knows she noticed immediately. ‘I won’t. I won’t make you carry my dreams. I’ll reach them myself.’ Her smile is genuine when she speaks.
Then saboady happens. And he feels like he’s failed all three. He let them down. He lost. And marine ford hits like a fatal blow. Then luffy , who lost someone so precious to him sends his message. His captain has picked himself up , has decided his next move. So zoro will dedicate the next 2 years to getting stronger. The girls will do the same. The whole crew will.
After saboady comes perona. Their relationship is rough to start out. Zoro is still suffering from the injuries kuma gave him , and the shame he feels in losing his crew. Perona is dealing with her own loses. Hearing about marine ford almost breaks both of them. They’re alone on an island with nothing but an emotionally unavailable warlord and a bunch of literal monkeys for company. They bicker and yell at each other for comfort. Cause taking your anger out on one person is easier then being angry at the world and having no way to voice it.
At the 10 month mark zoro tells her he’s officially spent more time with her and mihawk than he has with his crew. Perona tells him this is the longest she’s ever been away from hers. He can see his again. Will see his again. Moria is dead and perona is still lost in her grief. The rest of the year is the quietest it’s been since they got there.
On the first anniversary of their arrival to the island , zoro tries to make it a good thing. They both know the marine ford date is for mourning but if zoro was gonna be sent anywhere for 2 years , he’s glad he landed here. Perona loves sweets , so he makes a cake. Well , tries to make one. It comes out looking like a mud cake with pink frosting. And the only reason the frosting looks right is cause it’s leftover frosting from something perona made.
When she sees it she laughs so loud he’s sure it could be heard on the coast. She makes Mihawk take a picture of zoro holding it and zoro wants to throw her in the ocean. But the cake did what it was intended to do. It made them feel better. It took their minds off the other upcoming anniversary.
By the time the second year is up , the 2 are almost inseparable. Perona knows him just as well as his crew. Maybe even more. And zoro knows everything about perona. When he looks at her he feels a feeling similar to the one he has when he looks at Robin. They’d probably like each other if they were given the chance to meet normally. They probably will some day.
When the straw hats reunite zoro stares at his 2 girls and feels the need to show affection for the first time ever. When he yanks nami into a hug she screeches about his germs and tells chopper to check him for brain eating parasites or something. When he turns to Robin she already looks smug. ‘Did our poor swordsman miss us that bad ?’ She says it so condescendingly that zoro almost wants to admit he did just to see the look on her face. He’s an adult now , he can be open and express emotions if he wants. But she doesn’t make any further comments. She just pulls him into a short hug and ruffles his hair.
So his reunion with his sisters goes easy. Well , as easy as it can when it’s the straw hats.

Zosan is something so special but even more special when it’s t4t. Zoro who has been sure of his identity ever since he was a little kid and sanji whose egg has been forcefully cracked with a sledgehammer in her early 20’s. Sanji who struggles deciding on how to present during fem days vs Zoro who has been wearing the same clothes for the last week.
Sanji who has been disconnected from her femininity nearly all of her life, shoving herself into awkwardly fitting suits since she was a little kid, her desire to be the perfect gentleman overshadowing her true identity.
Zoro who decided he’s a man and stuck with it ever since he was little. Zoro who knows himself better than anyone and is sure of it.
it’s such a harsh contrast. Sanji almost feels bested by the swordsman in this gender debacle. how has that grass brained idiot been so sure of himself for years while she needs to smoke 3 cigarettes at the mere thought of wearing a dress?
Sanji wishes deep down to ask him: “how did you know?” “when did you know?” “was it easy?” (She knows that one is rhetorical). And yet sanji cant ask him. At least not while she’s dicing an assortment of fruit for her lovely Nami and Robin and working on her 8th cigarette of the hour.
It’s not like Zoro’s the only other person on the ship who is similar to her. Robin’s been lovely, actually. Robin has always been incredibly knowing and insightful, as always. She’s been amazing, Sanji can’t appreciate her enough. She always knew the right words to pick. Sanji sleeping in the girls quarters allowed her to become closer to Robin through simple conversation and sweet smiles alone. Sanji can’t thank her enough for each chat they’d have over a cup of coffee. Robin had always been safe for Sanji to chat to. An observant woman who could read a person just like she did her books.
So just why did Sanji want to ask the moss-brained idiot about his experience with his identity? It’s not like he’s got some long story to tell, Zoro’s not the kind of guy to drone on and tell some deep story about his self-realization over a candlelit dinner. Zoro is Zoro, simple and straight to the point. A sharp edge that hardly falters. He’s simple-minded. A simple-minded moron. A simple-minded moron that picks fights with Sanji every chance he gets. A simple-minded moron that doesn’t have anything good to say. Sanji’s not delusional.
It’s only when in the kitchen with that same moron, Sanji realizes that she might be delusional.
It goes as any other night. Crew asleep, Sanji staying up a little later than usual to prep for tomorrow’s meals, careful hands massaging marinade into raw meat, and Zoro waltzes into the kitchen like he fucking owns it. Insomnia can make a man so cocky. Swords clanking against each other and the thump of his boots against the wood announcing his presence.
“Out. You’re not getting any booze, shitty moss.” Sanji says, simple and straightforward.
Zoro scoffs. He takes a seat at the dining table. Sanji can feel the swordsman’s eyes on her. “I didn’t come here just for booze, shit cook.”
“What else could you have come for? I don’t see you looking to handle tomorrow’s lunch.” Sanji replies, rinsing her hands clean and storing the marinated cuts in the fridge. The spices tickle her senses.
Zoro doesn’t reply. Great. Sanji would have to play a guessing game with an overgrown moss in the odd hours of the night. Unable to kick or scream at him because she can’t risk waking up her sweet Nami or Robin. She dries her hands and turns to look at him. Did he come here with the sole purpose to piss her off? She wouldn’t put that behind him. The air is oddly thick. She takes a drag of the cigarette she’s been working on before making her way to the counter and stubbing it out on the ashtray there.
“Whatever you want, spit it out or go.” Sanji tells him, not having time for any bullshit. “Or I’m going to sleep.”
Zoro’s permanent scowl turns into something confused. Tilting his head inquisitively, almost like a dog. Sanji takes the thought of Zoro being similar to a confused puppy and crushes it with the sole of her shoes. She can’t have that now. Stupid moss. Stupid puppy-dog moss. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
“I wanted to say,” Zoro begins. Seeming to actually think about his choice of words. It’s something Sanji’s never seen before. Shocked that his brain works for anything other than swords and alcohol. “Congrats. On. Your. Finding yourself.” Zoro finishes.
The eye contact made after that is, for lack of a better term, terrifying to Sanji.
"Thanks." Is all Sanji can manage before retreating to the women's quarters for the night before Zoro can say anything else.
It makes her feel warm.

Roronoa Zoro - 1, 22, 62
1. “I’ll protect you.” 22. “I called you because I can’t fall asleep.” 62.“You can call me whenever you want… Even if you don’t have a reason to.”
For: Shelby
With the request that in this scenario, Reader has nightmare. Set as a modern au, that sort of vaguely borrows the idea of a/the Grandline Metro, with all props to @quinloki who's work you should absolutely check out because they never fail to get me invested.
Tumblr media
It was hardly the first time you’d woken up screaming. The nightmare itself was almost the same every time, with only the slightest of changes. Sometimes you died, sometimes it was Luffy, sometimes it was any given one of the crew members Luffy had gathered since making waves in the underground world of crime here in the Grandline Metro. But the dream was always the worst when it was Zoro who lay dead at the end.
Luffy has been pestering you for a while about moving in to the headquarters that Franky tricked out. You’re not opposed to the idea, exactly, but you are a little nervous about how your nightmares are going to interrupt everyone’s lives. Maybe you can ask Franky to make your room soundproof. How many questions will he ask though?
You lay there for a while, unable to turn your mind off, unable to relax enough to fall back to sleep.
Zoro’s face flashes through your mind again and you’re reaching for your phone to call him before you can really think about what time it is, and you’re honestly about to hang up when the phone picks up.
“Everything okay?” He greets you with, voice a little husky and sounding concerned. It’s unlike you to call at this hour, after all. You make a soft sound, trying to will yourself to say yes even though your throat suddenly feels thick. It’s mortifying to feel tears welling up in your eyes from how encompassing the relief is to hear him. Of course you knew he would be fine but it’s different to hear him.
He calls your name and you realise you haven’t replied yet, so you clear your throat.
“Y-yeah, everything is okay.” You say, voice a little shaky, “It’s - I’m not hurt or anything.” He’s silent for a few moments and you listen to his breathing.
“Are you okay?” He asks now.
“I… I’m not hurt.” You repeat.
“But you’re not okay.” Zoro hones in on that fact, and you can hear rustling in the background. “Why’d you call? Do you need me?”
Your cheeks go pink and you press a hand to your cheeks, biting your lip and taking a deep breath.
“I called you because I can’t fall asleep. I- I had a nightmare – god this is so stupid.”
“No it’s not.” Zoro says, words firm though his voice isn’t harsh. “You can call me whenever you want… even if you don’t have a reason to.” He waits a beat and you can still hear rustling. “You didn’t answer, do you need me?”
“Wait, Zoro are you getting ready to come here? You really don’t need to do that, it’s just a nightmare.” You babble, partly out of embarrassment but also out of the knowledge that it’s Zoro and he’ll get lost along the way.
“You’re upset.” He says simply. “Do you need me?”
“I – yes. Please.” You say softly, knowing he won’t accept more babbling, just a yes or no answer. And you do want him to come to you. Even if he gets lost along the way and it takes him forever.
“Then I’m on my way.” He tells you.
What should be a fifteen minute drive takes an hour. But when you hear the knock on the door, you get up from where you’ve been waiting on the couch for the last thirty minutes and pad over to check the peep hole. When you see it is Zoro, you unlock it and let him in. He looks tired, and you feel bad, but he reaches to flick the lock on the door behind you and studies your face quietly for a moment.
Then he takes your hand and leads you to the bedroom, where he kicks off his boots and pants. You dive into the bed without looking at his muscular legs, and fiddle with the blanket until he’s under it with you. Only in his boxers. You swallow hard. He lays back, with his hands under his head and then glances at you.
“What happened in the nightmare?” He asks, and you shift uncomfortably before scooting in close enough to lay your head on his bicep.
“It’s always the same dream…” You murmur, and begin to explain. When you get to the part about how one of you always dies, Zoro frowns a little.
“I’ll protect you. You know that right? I won’t let you die.”
Your cheeks flare a brilliant red and you tentatively reach out and lay your arm across his body, idly stroking over the large scar given to him by Dracule Mihawk, keeping your eyes on it.
“I wasn’t the one who died this time.” You whisper the confession, and he cups your cheek to guide you to look up at him again.
“Who was?” He asks gently.
You bite your bottom lip. “You did. It’s always worst when it’s you.”
Zoro stares at you for a long moment, with something that looks like surprise in his eyes – followed by something else you don’t quite recognise. Whatever it is, he leans in and presses a soft kiss to your forehead.
“I’m not going anywhere. I promise.”

Seasonal Romance
Tw: Foul Language
Tumblr media
Chapter Four: High School Stories and Snacks
https://portgasairlines.tumblr.com/post/682797028384948224/seasonal-romance
Chapter Five: Dress Up! And Picnics
Zoro was confused as to why Sanji was currently at his home digging through his closet.
"Why do you only have winter clothing? What is wrong with you?"
Zoro shrugged.
"Why are you even here? We were all going to meet up at the park for the picnic."
Sanji sighed. He threw a plain white shirt at his face. Zoro quickly snatched it off, glaring at him.
"Because, moss head, Nami-san, Robin-chan and I made plans ahead of time."
"What do you mean?"
Sanji threw him a black leather jacket.
"Well aren't you going to be sweating. Anyways they wanted to set Luffy on a random date, and they were so close on choosing Katakuri to be his date."
"Wh- stop throwing clothes at me!"
Sanji sighed.
"I think black jeans would be better...yeah, I'll take these back."
"You were saying something about Luffy going on a date?"
"Hm? Oh yeah I convinced them you were the best choice. So we're going to leave you two alone at some point. Yeah, these definitely go with your outfit."
"You told them I like him?"
"No, I'm a man of my word."
"What am I supposed to even do- damn cook if you don't stop throwing shit at me!"
Sanji shrugged.
"Don't know, but make your time count, because I'll make my time count too. I'll be giving them their favorite snacks."
He had heart eyes as he spoke. Zoro rolled his eyes and took his shirt off.
"So, why did they decided to do that?"
"Set Luffy up? I don't know actually. Never really asked."
Zoro sighed. He couldn't tell if being left alone with Luffy would be a good thing or not. Heck, he wasn't even sure what to do with that time. It's not like right then and there he'd ask him out. He wanted to be a little subtle, but no too subtle. Then Luffy wouldn't get the message. He was a little dense after all. Maybe that's why his brothers made quite a few choices for him.
"Pick out some nice shoes, I'm going to borrow your kitchen for a bit."
"Go ahead."
Once Sanji left he finished changing. He grabbed a random pair of shoes, not really caring. He stepped out and was immediately examined by Sanji.
"I thought you were in the kitchen?"
"I couldn't trust you to pick out good shoes but, these are actually fine."
"Is my fashion sense that bad?"
"No, it's just always the same. There's always a hoodie or boots involved."
Zoro pushed past him and left his shoes next to the door.
"Aren't you a nice guy?"
"Nicer than you."
"You want to fight?"
"I've got ten minutes to spare anyways."
As if she sensed it, Nami called Sanji. He quickly put a stop to the fight and answered.
"Nami-san!"
Zoro rolled his eyes.
"What? It's only 11 though...fine, then we'll be there. I'll see you Nami-san!"
Sanji hung up, clearly happy. He turned to Zoro.
"We're leaving."
"But the meet up time is at 2."
"Yeah but Nami-san requested it. Guess she must have already gotten Luffy ready."
"She helped him get ready?"
"Yeah, because he'd do the same thing you would. A hoodie and jeans, you two are so basic."
"I'll kill you."
Sanji put his hands up defensively.
"Never said it was a bad thing. Anyways I'm going in the kitchen for a bit. As soon as I'm done, we're leaving."
Zoro sat down and waited for him. He scrolled on his phone for a bit before he received a message. He smiled a little.
Luffy: Nami is making me wear these uncomfortable clothes. I didn't even know I had half of these things
Zoro sent a message back, resting his arm on the top of the couch.
Zoro: She has a good sense of fashion though
Luffy: Yeah, but I don't care! Ace would never force me into this
Zoro: Your brother and Nami are two totally different people
Luffy: I guessssjskdjdm
Zoro couldn't tell if he was that bored or if he was currently being attacked by Nami. It honestly could have been either or, but he went with the safer option.
Zoro: Then I'll see you in a few
Luffy: HWLP MEJWJKN
Zoro turned his phone off and sighed. They must have been really serious about this. He stood up once he saw Sanji walk into the living room with the picnic basket.
"Don't forget your lighter this time."
Sanji started checking his pockets before he found it. Zoro slipped his shoes on and walked out, Sanji doing the same. He let Sanji take the lead, as apparently he always got lost. Zoro didn't believe that though.
"So, what do you think we'll be doing over there so early?"
Sanji shrugged.
"It's probably to make you spend more time with Luffy."
Zoro scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. It felt weird knowing that they'd most likely be watched. He's been alone with Luffy multiple times, so he didn't mind that much at least.
They walked for a few more minutes before finally reaching their destination. They had assumed they were the first ones there until they heard Luffy.
"Zoro! Sanji!"
Luffy ran up to Zoro.
"Why didn't you help me?!"
"With what?"
"Nami, duh! She kept attacking me with shirts and stuff."
"Oh, sorry."
"And how did we get here before you? Did you get lost?"
"No we just took our time I guess."
"Is that so? Well it doesn't matter you're here now! Sanji, Nami is waiting for you."
"Is she? Nami-san I'm finally here!"
Luffy followed behind Sanji, probably for the food. Zoro sighed. He knew it would be a long day. He walked behind them to the picnic area and said hello to everyone, sitting down with his friends. That's when he payed attention to the outfit Luffy was wearing. A black long sleeve rolled up to his elbows, khaki pants, and long black socks that were accompanied with white shoes and his usual straw hat. Definitely not something he'd usually wear, but it looked nice.
"You actually own things like that?"
Nami put her hands together.
"I know right? It made my job so much easier."
"The tag on the shirt is annoying though."
"Who cares, you look good, right Zoro?"
Zoro gave a small smile.
"Yeah, It's nice on you."
He ignored Nami and Sanji cheering in the back. Luffy smiled.
"Aw, really? Then I'll put up with it! For another thirty minutes."
Nami frowned.
"30 minutes? You know how long it took me to find that? You'll wear that to sleep if I tell you to."
"No one told you to help me- I was just kidding! Help!"
They just watched as Nami got on top of him and started pulling on his shirt.
"You're keeping this on!"
"Yes ma'am, I'm so sorry."
Nami let go of him.
"Yeah, I'm not sorry."
Thats when Luffy started running with Nami behind him.

matchup for @/brattata! thank you ((:
𝐀𝐂𝐄
ace’s personality fits you well! he’s similar to you in a lot of ways— the confidence, free spirit, and the fact that you’re looking for someone a little more outgoing!
he likes to bring you out of your shell. he’s always by your side, encouraging you to join whatever he’s doing. if the two of you are ever in a crowd, say a feast maybe, he’s pulling you by the wrist to get food together.
ace is adventurous! if he went off on his own to find blackbeard, imagine the places he’d want to go and the things he’d want you to try. camping with him is definitely at the top of his bucket list!
he goes off to gather firewood, all the supplies you’d need to campus. comes back with splinters and asks you for help with a chuckle. proceeds to ask if you want to help him build the campfire right after you’ve spent forever picking out the splinters.
“this is pretty neat, isn’t it?”
he teaches you different ways to tie knots. ace’s chest is flush against your back, hands leading yours to meticulously tie the rope into fancy little knots.
your personality mixes so well with his. ace loves the little gifts you give him, and if they’re small enough, he keeps them inside his pocket, just to show you occasionally. “y/n— look what i have here.”
“you have to come closer to see.”
ace most definitely has the libido to blow your back out as often as you can handle!
besides the teasing little comments he’ll whisper into your ear throughout the day, he likes starting his day with you. as soon as he wakes up, he’s on you, arms wrapping around your figure with a deep and husky “come on…just once…”
ace likes your style! he would definitely try on your boots when you aren’t looking. he’d try and walk in them, only to fall and take them off with a dramatic huff.
when you’re doing your own thing, sometimes ace roams around the city the two of you have wandered to, checking the local markets to see if anything there would fit you. he likes buying you jewelry that he think would fit you, or steal take a bunch of perfume samples!
your calm exterior combined with ace’s reputation as the 2nd commander of the whitebeard pirates can come off as intimidating to others— but that’s part of the fun!
if you do find the attention too much, say, if ace was recognized by a group of people and it makes you uncomfortable to be put under the spotlight like that…
he puts his hat on you! takes off his hat with a quick flick of his wrist, just to place it on your head and knock the front down to cover your eyes.
“that wasn’t so bad, was it?”
he likes to give you piggy back rides too! finds himself weak in the knees when your hands wrap around him, especially if you accidentally brush against his chest..
𝐙𝐎𝐑𝐎
although zoro is introverted himself, i think he can get you out of your shell pretty well.
whether it’s a simple “come on, y/n, we’re leaving” or the way he grabs you a drink when you forget— he’s always helping you get comfortable.
zoro is confident enough to where he won’t get easily jealous. he knows he’s yours, and he knows you’re his. however! he won’t hesitate to step in when he thinks someone is crossing a line. he’s protective, not possessive.
zoro would also love quality time for dates! he wants you to stay close to him when he’s napping. you can do your own thing, but your company / you being near him is enough for him to have a good rest.
if you ever sneak around the rules / push it, he’s giving you the proudest smirk (heavy emphasis on the one he gave chopper during the g8 arc!)
when you give zoro gifts, he always wants to return the favor— except he’s not the best gift giver. awkwardly roams around cities, gets lost, and comes back with a dandelion he picked in a field (how did he end up at a field?)
zoro is also able to give you space! whether it’s time for him to workout, or clean his swords, he does his own things. if you do your own things as well, that’s fine. it’s also fine if you keep him company!
finds your presence to be relaxing. there’s a high chance that if he’s asleep, you’re nearby— because he feels safest when you’re beside him.
HONORABLE MENTIONS (thank u for the tip!)
ENEL
he’d fall in love with your pride! although i see the two of you bickering over who started what, he always finds that as an opportunity to get snarky— get under your skin so he can mumble a “you’re hot when you’re angry” into your ear.
LUCCI.
he thinks your independence is attractive. will most definitely want to see you crack because of this. rails you against the wall throughout the entire night simply because he wants to hear you praise him, come undone and maybe say that you need him— gets drunk on the feeling he’d get from a confession like that!

Practice makes perfect
Starting off the year with smut is a step in the right direction.
This is for the wonderful Evilishei, who was looking for smut whilst I was feeling smutty (still a weird sentence!), and the lovely GrimTwin, who mentioned on discord that Nami would taste good and it descended into filth from there that hasn’t left my mind since.
So, this is for you two- pure, pure smut! Look away children!
This is the sequel to ‘The stars will guide you’ because I couldn’t resist. You don’t have to read that though, this is PWP at the end of the day.
Summary: Zoro strived to be the greatest swordsman in the world but that ambition to be the best wasn’t just exclusive to swordsmanship, it also happened to leak over into the bedroom. Nami’s one lucky lady.  Rating: M. Explicit.
This can also be found on AO3 and FFN.
Enjoy.
It was a quick walk to the bedroom from the lawn deck, Zoro was making sure of that, something Nami was thankful for because she’d lost her blanket and as warm as Zoro was, he wasn’t that warm. Neither of them suggested stopping for it and she was perfectly okay with that, she had more pressing matters to attend to.
Nami fidgeted in his hold on the way there and Zoro got the hint after a second, his hands moving to her bottom as her legs wrapped around his waist. Something that was instantly a better position, now she could kiss along his neck and roll her hips into his
When they reached her bedroom door, Nami’s hand fumbled behind her, trying to find the handle without having to detach from his neck but gasped when her back met the door instead as he pressed her against it firmly. His hands gripping her behind, rolling her in time with his hips and her hands tightened around his shoulders, bunching the fabric of his top.
He brought her into a searing kiss after the second roll of their hips. There was no time for gentleness or brushes and Nami didn’t miss that, she had no patience for it right now. Their lips moved urgently, tongues seeking each other out to play, the pace of their hips not slowing as they ground against one another. Heat was settling in her stomach when she felt him hard and ready through his trousers. Her teeth nipped at his lips as she withdrew her tongue to speak.
“Zoro, let’s go inside,” she murmured against his lips, her hand finally finding the doorknob behind her to twist and open the door. The last thing she needed was to be caught by someone else on the crew in such a compromising position. His feet moved then, walking them into the empty women’s room and bringing her back into another kiss.
It didn’t last as long as their previous kiss as he threw her on the bed. She bounced lightly but didn’t complain, her eyes were busy drinking in the sight of Zoro stripping off his top in front of her. No matter how many times she saw him shirtless, it never felt like it was enough, from the long scar decorating his thick torso to the muscles wrapped around his arms. There was a lot to appreciate and based on the shit eating grin on his face right now, he knew it too.
He kicked off his boots and threw his top on the floor behind him, something for them to scramble to find later when Luffy tries breaking in in the morning, and followed after her onto the bed. She scooted back to the pillows at the head of her bed and he stalked after her, to hover above her a moment later.
“Enjoying the view?” He asked, purposefully keeping some distance between them.
So cocky.
“Are you?” She challenged back, posing as provocatively as she could, and it worked when she watched his gaze slowly trail down her body.
“Enjoy it more if you took your top off.”
She laughed and raised her hands above her head, teasingly wiggling her fingers as she waited. “Get on with it then.”
He didn’t gripe at her command, complying wordlessly as his hands found the edge of her pyjama top, dragging the fabric over her body, over her head, for it to join his top somewhere on the floor. His hands were back on her body quickly afterwards, smoothing up her waist to cup her breasts and squeeze.
“No bra? Good choice,” he murmured as he pressed a kiss into the skin behind her ear.
Her hands found his shoulders, running along the exposed skin but when his thumbs simultaneously brush her nipples, she’s clutching at his shoulders and pressing her head back into the pillow as she gasped. He carried on down that path, kissing down her neck, alternating between flicking her nipples and circling them with his thumbs. It has her hips reaching up for friction that isn’t there and her hands left his shoulders to grasp the waistband of his trousers.
Her movement was halted though as one of Zoro’s hands clasped around her wrists and lifted them above her head. “Not yet,” was all he supplied, and he let go of her hands after a moment.
Purely out of curiosity she kept them above her head, and he leaned back on his heels, hands now on the waistband of her pyjama bottoms instead. She lifted her hips, and his hands were stripping the bottoms off of her body. He doesn’t hover back over her like she’d expected after he removed them, instead he’s scanning over her body, taking in the view before him and as embarrassing as it is to be on display like this, she’s too turned on to feel it. If anything it’s emboldening when all she saw was pure want over his face.
But the novelty wore off quickly. She wanted to be touched, damn it. His eyes were lingering on the red lace of her underwear and she used that to her advantage, slowly opening her legs, a clear invitation for him to get moving. It has the desired effect. His body blanketed hers immediately and she’s brought back into a kiss that made her toes curl.
She moaned into his mouth when his fingers skimmed over her underwear but groaned when they didn’t stay put and instead rubbed the skin of her thighs. The kiss was broken then as he started a scorching trail down her body, switching between brushes to nips with his teeth to using his tongue. It was driving her crazy. He used his knowledge of her body to his advantage, lingering in sensitive spots, like the crease of her neck or the skin just beneath her breast. It made her body hum as it waited in anticipation for what he’d do next.
Zoro had never been bad in bed. He’d always been good, even in the early days where they had still been figuring it all out and experimenting were more than made up by his want to bring her to an orgasm, to be the best. No matter how long it took. But practice made perfect, and he’d practiced a lot, and it had certainly paid off. He knew exactly where to touch, where to kiss and what to say to bring her pleasure.
Something that was being proven right now.
The closer he drew south, the sharper the gasps tumbling from her mouth became. It was all too much, his hands were on her thighs, holding them apart as his mouth teased along the skin just before her underwear and she was desperate for some friction against the ache between her legs. Her hands were already clutching at the sheets beside her, gasps sharp and quick in the quiet room but nothing could have prepared her for when his mouth finally reached just where she wanted him.
Well. Kind of.
He dragged his tongue languidly along the lace covering her lips and he’s barely done anything, but it had her hips shooting upward. He chuckled, not moving away and she felt that. Despite her eagerness, he didn’t pick up the pace, continuing to slowly drag his tongue along the lace and she was having a hard time knowing whether it was her wetness or his saliva that actually made her underwear wet. He may not have sped up, but he did increase the pressure of his tongue and she’s moaning at the rough drag of her lace underwear against her clit. All of it was too much but not enough at the same time and it only made it all the better.
Her reaction must have been enough because then he’s sucking through the underwear and she’s going to lose her mind if he doesn’t pick up the pace or get rid of the stupid underwear or put some damn fingers in her. His tongue dragged over her clit again and it was torturously good.
“Zoro, just take them off already!” She panted impatiently; his hand clamped over her leg again because he knew what she’s about to do. She was going to push back on his shoulder to get him to pay attention.
“I can work just fine like this,” he smirked up at her and as infuriating as his words were, it still turned her on even more.
She’s going to complain some more, despite being at his mercy but he stuck to his word. Instead of removing her underwear, his thumb is moving her underwear to the side out of the way and then he’s diving back in. Words left her then, whatever he had been doing was nothing compared to this. His tongue was so hot and so wet and so good.
If she thought his kiss was enough to curl her toes, it’s nothing compared to what he’s doing with his mouth now.
He started with a long lick along her opening, teasing along her folds with his tongue, which is great, but she’s so far passed this, she needed more. And before she can complain, she’s given exactly what she wanted. His tongue flicked against her nub and it made her jump as the suddenness, pleasure shooting down her body. She doesn’t know what to do with her hands now, the sheets aren’t cutting it anymore but then she found a better position in Zoro’s hair. They run through the cropped green and he’s humming against her when she clutched at it. The vibration against her clit felt fantastic and her choked moan has him switching to circling the little nub, pressure and pace increasing.
The outside world is lost on her right now. Right now, it’s just her and Zoro and his sinfully good tongue bringing nothing but pleasure. Her back arched off of the bed, trying to do something and she can hear the desperate noises coming out of her mouth, but she just doesn’t care. It does nothing but encourage Zoro to work harder, his hands caressed up her body only to bring her closer so he can press his mouth closer to her.
“You’re going to wake up the ship.” Except his voice didn’t sound scolding, it sounded pleased, cocky, like he knew exactly what he was doing, and he most definitely did.
“I don’t care,” she said breathlessly. And it was true, she could feel embarrassed later, but right now her mind couldn’t comprehend anything else other Zoro and his tongue.
The warmth was building in her stomach, the race close to reaching the finale and Zoro was relentless, dragging everything out of her as he pushed all the buttons, not holding back. He certainly proved that when he slowly pushed his fingers into her, building them up to the same pace as his tongue and using his experience to quickly find that little patch that had her body humming.
Someone sobbed and she realised after a second it was her. All of it was too much, her head was trying to press through the pillow beneath her whilst her hips rolled, pushing back, as she chased after the shooting pleasure until she’s tumbling over the edge.
But that doesn’t slow him down, his mouth’s seeing her through her orgasm, drawing it out for as long as possible, until she’s a satisfied puddle beneath him, moaning and gasping through it all.
She doesn’t realise her eyes were closed until she finally opened them again, the blinding lights behind her eyes had receded and she’s met with the sight of Zoro looking down at her softly, drinking in the expression on her face. His tongue swiped out to lick at the wet around his mouth and once he’s done with this, he’s bringing his fingers up to his mouth to slowly lick them clean. Never breaking eye contact as he does. It’s something that shouldn’t turn her on when she’s just had the most mind-blowing orgasm, yet here she was watching him like a hawk, and something settled in her stomach.
“You taste really good,” he told her, blunt and honest.
Words failed her, her brain was still reeling and nothing smart came to mind, so instead she nodded back dumbly. The soft kisses he’s planting along her body as he made his way back up certainly didn’t help her brain regain its normal functioning. She received the proof of his words when he finally reached her lips and she tasted herself in their kiss.
He certainly wasn’t lying, it was sweet.
The kiss is slow, a stark difference from their previous kisses. A soft brush of lips, a caress with his tongue against hers and the comfortable weight of him over her. Their hands wandered with no real purpose and it drew out the high that she’s slowly coming down from.
Sated she may be, but this was far from over. She’s been with him long enough to know this is only round one and she was starting to get an idea of what round two was going to look like based on the hardness against her thigh. The thought of what she’s about to do has her blood pressure picking up and the lax feeling in her body is slowly fading away. Zoro knew this when she increased the urgency of their kiss, her tongue now moving with purpose.
He's pliant when she pushed a hand against his shoulder, letting her take the lead, as he laid on his back and she straddled him.
“Time to lose the trousers now, hm?” She asked, but based on the glint in her eyes, they both know it’s not a question.
Not like he’d refuse her anyway, he’s completely stiff when she teasingly brushed her hand against his length after ‘accidently’ missing the waistband. He growled and she sniggered up at him, relishing the change in positions.
He was at her mercy now.
She made sure he knew it too, languidly licking along the raised skin of his scar, fingers skimming over the hard muscles of his stomach and ignoring his impatient huffing as she made her way down. He looked like he was ready to take back control when she finally made it to the waistband of his boxers but that was quickly put to rest when she stroked him through the fabric, all teasing touches gone.
The moan he let out encouraged her, especially when he threw his head back on the pillow after waiting for so long, no longer looking at her. Her mouth took over from her hand shortly after. She traced his length with her tongue, lingering over the wet patch that was already there. His hands were then at the waistband of his boxers, completely done with her teasing but she pushed his hands away.
“Nami,” he said warningly.
“Zoro,” she retaliated mockingly, and blew a puff of air over his still clothed length, “don’t worry, I can work like this.”
He groaned in annoyance and threw his head back, but she spared him. She only teased him for a few seconds longer before she’s pulling his underwear down and out of the way. Very kind, if she said so herself.
But that didn’t mean she was done. She kissed up his length, her tongue tracing a vein on the way down and they’re all feather light touches that has Zoro running his hands through his cropped hair, huffing. She’s on limited time if she kept this up. In the past she’s lost out on giving him a blow job, but then she was rewarded with rough sex after he lost his patience. So really, neither of them lost. But she was adamant this time around, he’d been so attentive with her.
With that final thought, she takes him into her mouth, swishing her tongue on the way down and he clearly didn’t expect her to be done with her teasing so quickly based on the much louder, unrestrained grunt he’d just let out. Gone were the days of awkward fumbling and gagging from when she took him too quickly and too deeply, now it’s replaced with smooth movements and confidence.
Because as much as Zoro had practised, so had Nami and she liked to think he was just as pleased as she was with her performance. He certainly sounded like he was, based on the noises coming from his throat.
His hands ran through her hair encouragingly and she doesn’t mind it, she can relate to needing to touch the person who’s making you feel so good and as his breathing picked up, so did the swirl of her tongue and the bob of her head. She peeked up at him on her way back up his length and they locked eyes. He looked utterly ruined and she had to bite down the grin of accomplishment because she’s a woman on a mission. Holding eye contact, she licked the tip of his length, swiping off the precum leaking from him before planting a swift kiss there. Above her, Zoro gave a guttural moan at the sight.
From his moan alone, Nami knew he was close, and it spurred her on to take him back into her mouth, slowly picking up the pace as she bobbed her head. She could tell he was trying to contain himself, but his hips thrusted up a few times before he could catch himself, trying to match her pace but it didn’t throw her off.
On the last bob of her head, she knew he was about to come but then his hands were trying to pull her away, “Nami,” he warned, but she brushed it off and ignored him.
“Nami, I’m going to-” he was cut off as one of her hands circled the base of his length, pumping in rhythm with her mouth and it freed her up move faster. He let out a pant instead of finishing his sentence.
She could keep up the pace, she had to, despite her aching jaw because she wanted to see him come apart. See the stoic, no nonsense (most of the time!) swordsman come apart because of her. She powered through it and was rewarded when she felt him twitch and pulse in her mouth and then he was coming. It was warm and she grimaced slightly at the taste, he needed to eat a bit more fruit and a bit less meat, but it didn’t stop her from swallowing it down.
She continued for a second longer, seeing him through his release like he had for her. Then she was pulling away to sit up and look at the sight of Zoro beneath her, chest heaving to catch his breath and expression sated as he looked at her through a lidded eye. She didn’t think she’d ever get bored of that look. To see him come undone, all for her.
He caught her around the arms to pull her into an embrace and they shared a sweet kiss. But he pulled back after a second, frowning.
Nami laughed lightly, “See, couldn’t kill you to eat some fruit.”
He grinned back at her, “Maybe I can convince our greedy navigator to share her mikans.”
“I’m sure she’d agree based on the circumstances, it is mutually beneficial after all,” she teased.
She kissed him again then and he didn’t pull away this time. Her previous words were mostly in jest, as much as it wasn’t the most amazing taste it the world, she wouldn’t give it up over something so insignificant. With one last brush of their lips, they pulled apart.
“Not that I’m complaining, but I thought you wanted-?” He trailed off, looking at her questionably.
Nami smiled, her hands stroking along his chest. “It’s only-” she peered behind her at the clock- “3am. You have somewhere else to be?”
The confusion on his face dropped and, in its place, a dangerous smirk formed. One that told her she was in for a long night as his expression darkened and he rolled them, so he was back on top, smothering her body with his.
They may not need much practice anymore, but they should reap the reward of their dedication.

Hope this is what both of you had in mind.
As always, forgive any errors.
Thanks for reading.

Who is She?
Rating: PG-13 (TW cussing, drinking alcohol, making out, sex mention ??)
Pairing: Roronoa Zoro x Lark Normandy
Info: (Modern day/college au so they aren’t pirates or anything)  Zoro is in college and dragged to a random party where he sees Lark across the room. He’s immediately intrigued and doesn’t know why.
Zoro
Who the fuck was she?
I was standing in the corner of the annoyingly crowded party in a cramped cheap apartment, minding my own business. I didn’t want to be there in the first place, but my friends Luffy and Sanji insisted I go out. At least there would be alcohol there, I thought on the way over, which is all I was looking forward to. Until I saw her.
I was taking a sip out of my plastic red cup when my eyes glanced around the room and stopped on her. Her hair was the first thing I noticed, it was dyed green, but unlike mine was a black to bright green ombre. And she had a lot of it. It was half down and the rest up in a messy bun on top of her head. She had random pieces perfectly framing her face. And her face….  She was the prettiest thing I had ever seen. She had paler skin with a few freckles splashed across her cheeks. Her makeup wasn’t heavy beside her winged eyeliner and bright red lipstick. She was laughing at something her friend said and I saw her bright green eyes light up from across the room.
Shit, I’m staring. I looked away quickly but my eyes kept dragging back towards her. I finally looked away from her face and observed her clothing. She short black shorts with fishnets and bulky black boots. She sported a crop-top and a dark red flannel that was unbuttoned and oversized for her small frame. Yet she looked like a super model.
I rolled my eyes at myself. What was going on with me? When was the last time I was even interested in a girl? She really wasn’t that amazing… Except she was. She wasn’t even trying to look good, just standing there talking with two other girls, yet she was the only thing I could see in the room. And I didn’t even know her name.
Sanji nudged me pulling me out of my thoughts, “See something you like?” He joked. I glared at him and finished off my drink.
“Nah just saw her green hair and was surprised.” I ran my hands through my short green hair absentmindedly, “Guess I’m not the only Moss Head, huh?”
Sanji laughed at that, “It appears not. But I will say she is more my type than you. Ten bucks I can get her number.” My eyes widened and I stared at him.
“You seriously think you,” I gestured to his lanky body, “have a chance with that?” I gestured over to the girl.
“Girls love me.” Sanji said confidently and with a sly smirk, “I’ll be right back.” He took a step making his way over to her.
“Oh no, I gotta see this.” I told him following close behind. We approached the three girls and the green-haired one immediately dropped her smile into an icy glare. She looked between Sanji and I, her eyes trailing a little longer on me, but that could have just been my imagination.
“Good evening ladies.” Sanji began, smiling at them. “I don’t believe we’ve met. I’m Sanji.” Zoro wanted another shot watching this travesty happen.
The two other girls gave a small smile and nod and the green-haired one replied, “Sanji? Oh wow, aren’t you handsome.” She batted her eyelashes and my heart skipped a beat. The icy glare she had two seconds earlier was totally gone and an alluring, sexy smirk had taken it’s place. That’s when I realized she was an excellent actress. “I’m so glad you stopped by. I just finished my drink. Do you mind?” She held out her empty cup and Sanji eagerly took it, practically running to the drink table. I stood in silence, suddenly awkward realizing that I was left alone. The other two girls had stepped away, leaving me with this girl.
“Your friend is straight forward. His flirting game is a little lame.” She laughed and it sounded like music.
“Yeah, he thinks he’s some Casanova or something. Always drools over any woman he sees.” I shrugged, “He bet that he could get your number, and if he doesn’t I get ten bucks.” Why did I tell her that?
“Is that so?” She crossed her arms over her chest, her facial expression annoyed, “What’s your name?” She asked.
“Zoro.” I introduced myself.
She smirked, “Lark. Now let’s make Sanji lose his bet.” I was confused at first but before I could think she stepped forward, threw her arms around my neck, and kissed me.
My eyes widened as I was suddenly attacked, but I was in no way complaining. I had kissed girls before, this was nothing new, and yet the way she kissed me took my breath away. I instinctively grabbed her, pulling her close to me and I heard her gasp a little. Damn she was hot. Her fingers were running through my hair and I lost track of time. Until someone rudely interrupted.
“What the fuck Zoro!?” I pulled away and saw Sanji standing there with Lark’s drink in his hand. Lark stepped away from me and I immediately missed her warmth.
“Next time don’t make a bet that you can pick up a girl, arrogant asshole.” She took her drink and chugged it before handing him the cup back, “Thanks for the drink.” She looked back at me and smirked, “See ya around Zoro. Enjoy the ten bucks.” She winked and spun on her heels walking away, getting lost in the crowd.
“You told her about the bet? You dumbass.” Sanji growled glaring at me. “You definitely aren’t getting anything from me.” He walked off and I couldn’t have cared less.
I knew her name, I kissed her, and yet I knew nothing else about her. My mind was flooded with questions, but the same one kept coming back,
Who the fuck was she….

One Piece {Warlord Imagines} When You Kiss Them
Trafalgar Law
Since the Captain wasn't busy, I decided it would be a good idea to go bother him until he got annoyed with me. "Stop squirming around in my lap (Y/n)-ya. If you continue to move like that, we're going to have a big problem on our hands" I looked back at him though I wasn't sure what he had meant back that. "What does that mean Law?" When he didn't answer my question, I returned my focus to the coloring book in front of me.
After a few minutes, I became bored of coloring so turned around in Law's lap so I could look up at him. "I want a kiss Law~" Being that I was a rather needy partner I always asked the man for kisses and hugs on a regular basis. "If I give you one will you please go find someone else to bother until dinner?" When I nodded my head, his lips crashed against mine as we melted together. Though when he pulled away, I was set on the ground as he went back to his work. "Run along (Y/n)-ya"
"Okay! I'll see you later Law!"
Dracule Mihawk
"Mihawk are you done training yet? I want to go back to the castle. It's cold outside and I'm losing the feeling in my toes" Usually Mr. World's Greatest Swordsmen would train by himself but today I had decided to join him. Though that turned out to be a mistake since it was freezing outside today and I wasn't enjoying myself. "We've only been outside for 15 minutes (Y/n). How could you possibly be cold?"
"Don't question me Mihawk or else you can sleep on the couch with Zoro. Take me back inside right now I'm going to catch a cold out here" Now I knew the way back to the castle and could walk there but the island had many dangers that prevented me from going anywhere without Mihawk by my side. "As you wish (Y/n). Where is that boy anyway?"
"Probably lost somewhere on the island or he's still at home because he couldn't find the front door" When Mihawk sheathed his weapon he grabbed my hand before we started towards our home. "Would you like if I made you some soup (Y/n)?" Slowly I nodded my head before we continued walking towards the castle. Though when I saw Perona standing outside I knew she was probably going to complain about something.
"Mihawk there you are!? How dare you take (Y/n) outside in this weather, they are a delicate person and you need to remember that!" I sent a quick greeting to the girl but Mihawk didn't bother as he walked right through her. "Tell me again why we're allowing that ghost girl to stay here (Y/n)?" I could only shrug my shoulders as I removed my boots and slipped on my house slippers. "You need more friends Mihawk and I need a kiss right on the lips~"
"As you wish my love" When his lips pressed against mine, I felt as he picked me up in his arms and refused to break the kiss until we had made it into the dining room. "I love you (Y/n). Do you still want that soup?"
"Awe, I love you to Mihawk and yes I'd love some soup"
Bartholomew Kuma
Kuma had been gone most of the day now but I knew that he'd arrived within the next few minutes since he always showed up before six o'clock. Sometimes he was early though he never showed at late. "I can't wait to see him" Now since Kuma was a Pirate, he usually was gone a lot but I always made sure he gave me the affection I needed once he got home.
Sure, our size difference gave us some limitations though, for the most part, we looked past that. "(Y/n)-chan I'm home. Where are you?" Hearing my partner's voice ring out from the entranceway I closed my book before I went to greet him. "Kuma, I'm so glad your back! Pick me up so I can give you a kiss!" Like had I mentioned we had a noticeable height difference and Kuma was a giant compared to little me. "Alright (Y/n)-chan"
As I was lifted off the ground by the man, I gave him a few kisses on both of his cheeks before I gave him a little one on the lips. It might not have been the most noticeable kiss in the world but I always put my heart into it. "Shall I prepare dinner now (Y/n)-chan?"
"Yes, please"
Sir Crocodile
"(Y/n) why are you making all that noise? You're distracting me from my work again" Usually I would already be having my afternoon nap but today I just couldn't fall asleep. "I can't sleep Croco-chan and I don't know why" Now Crocodile wasn't the kindest of men but he did have his moments. "Come over here so I can give you a kiss. I never gave you one before you tried to fall asleep so maybe that's the problem"
"Hm, maybe you have a point there Croco-chan" I had almost forgotten about our special routine we had and I couldn't remember a time where he hasn't given me a kiss before my nap. Walking up to the man I climbed into his lap while he put out his cigar. Though after it was out, he wasted no time taking my chin within his fingers before softly pressing his lips against mine. It only lasted for ten or twenty seconds but Crocodile had this way of leaving me completely out of breath after he kissed me.
"Try and get some rest now (Y/n). I love you, my dear"
"I-I love you to Crocodile~ I'm just going to stay here cuddled up in your lap if you don't mind" He probably tried to deny my request but I was already asleep so there was nothing Crocodile could about it besides moving me to the couch if he really didn't want me there.
Donquixote Doflamingo
'Knock' 'Knock'
After I knocked on Doflamingo's office door I waited for him to reply as my hands tried to wipe away my tears that were pouring from my eyes. "Who is it?" I couldn't find my words so only knocked again before I brought my arms around myself. There was some movement inside the office and soon enough my husband opened the door. "Oh, (Y/n) it's yo- Why are you crying, did someone hurt you again!? Who was it I'll rip whoever it was into pieces!?"
When I didn't reply to him, I found myself being picked up as Doflamingo walked back into his office before he slammed the door shut. "It's alright my love~ I see that you're upset. You'll just have to stay with me for the rest of the day. I promise no one will bother you here. Come on give Doffy a smile~" Doflamingo usually found a way to make me feel better but today not even this man could make me smile. "Don't worry my love I'll find out the person responsible for causing so much pain. I love you, my baby~"
When Doflamingo kissed my lips, his tongue spilled inside to get a taste of me but when the man tasted the blood he immediately pulled away. "Are you bleeding (Y/n)? Open up... Your lips are slightly bruised as well. Did someone punch you?... Oh, my sweet (Y/n) it's alright let's go see the doctor" I knew he was worried about me so I allowed him to leave his office as he continued to pepper my skin with soft kisses trying to make me feel better. "No one hurts my love and lives to tell about it"
Boa Hancock
"My love is something wrong? You look unhappy" Today was just one of those days that made me want to crawl into bed and never come out but I knew Hancock would somehow blame herself for my unhappiness. "It's just one of those days where I want to stay in bed and do nothing. It's most likely because of the rain though" It was a reasonable response though Hancock did something surprising she sat right down beside me before bringing my head to rest on her breast.
"I'm sorry I didn't realize sooner my love! There was just some much work to complete around Amazon Lily today that I forgot about my partner! Please accept my deepest apologies!" She really did beat her up too much about me but at least someone cared about me as she did. "Can I have a kiss, Hancock?" I knew it was a forbidden act since most of the time it caused the Snake Princess to faint though right now, I could really use one to lift my spirits. "Of course, you may my love"
"Thanks, Hancock I think it will definitely make me feel better" Taking both of my hands I cupped her cheeks until our lips meant though as she slipped from my hold, I had to catch her before she hit the cold stone flooring. "I love you Hancock~ Get some rest and when the rain stops, we'll go outside" Placing one last kiss on her cheek I then leaned her head against my shoulder as my eyes returned to watch the rainfall outside of my window.
Jinbei
"(Y/n) would you like to help me prepare dinner?" I was reading a book in the living room but when Jinbei walked in, I immediately closed the book before I stood up. "Oh, yes! What are we making today Jin?" Preparing dinner with Jinbei was always the most enjoyable part of my day and I never declined to help him. "We're going to be making a delicious rice dish today (Y/n) so you can rinse and start cooking the rice?"
"Yes, Sir! Are we just using white rice?" When he confirmed we were I started preparing that but once it was starting to simmer, I made my way over to where Jinbei was sitting. "I love you Jinbei~" Pulling a kiss on his large cheek I watched as his face began to turn purple. "I-I love you too (Y/n)" When he turned and kissed me on the lips, I couldn't help but let a small blush grace my cheeks. "Awe, you're so forward today Jinbei~ I like it"
"(Y/n) the rice is boiling over!"

Dorothy Squal is a first year student who has a bad temper and is always eager to fight. He often acts cold but cares a lot more than he lets on. As Zoroaster calls him, "Tsundere dorm mom" Though unofficially he acts as Zoroaster's right hand man, though he grumbles all the while. If something happens to Yuu & Grim hes next up to be vice dorm leader.
Appearance:
Dorothy is a short stature fair skinned boy with a barrel chest and massive biceps and legs. The boy is a brick wall of muscle. His face is round with brown peach fuzz around his jaw. He has a brown mop of hair that's rarely brushed, and hidden behind his bangs is a pair of striking red eyes. The most common piece of clothing he wears are his brown farm boots with a black strap across it. And seemingly always present on his face is a scowl. As if something is always annoying him.
Personality:
Dorothy to put it simply is a fight loving, and extremely blunt person, he's not dumb, but he's a more punch first as questions later kind of guy. He is very easily annoyed or angered and his temper often gets him into fights or arguments which is fine by him, those are his bread and butter.
Though besides his explosive traits, he's also very competitive, sometimes taking even the simplest of things into competitions. Eating cereal? I can eat it faster than you! Taking a walk? I bet I can walk more relaxed than you! Etc etc. Though for those he's close to, though he'll never admit it, he's very caring and kind, often doing favors and helping them as best he can. While still pretending how much he hates picking up after them.
And for people he does see potential in, he often tries to help them improve and get better, not just for being nice but also for better competition in the long run. What's the use of being great if there's no challenge?!
Trivia:
He's based on Dorothy Gale from the wizard of oz
Besides those in the dorm, one of his best friends is Epel, he loves that feral varment in his words. They can bond over being country boys and he loves to fight the boy, and when he's able he teaches Epel how to fight or look more Manley
He holds his name in high regard, if anyone insults or makes fun of it, he will enter fight mode instantly. You will find out how awesome the name Dorothy is with these hands
He is the cook of the dorm, and he's really dang good at it.
Squal is his last name to reference Dorothy's last name Gale since both relate to different states of wind
Most of the time he bonds through a fist fight, in fact in a future personal story with Zoroaster that's exactly what made them actual friends, he challenged Zoro to a fist fight, no magic no cane, just fists. And Zoroaster agreed, funnily enough both get a rush from having a good fight and to Dorothy that spoke more to him than words.
His main man in the dorm is Regis, despite their differences he really does want to help the Lion, though unlike the other dorm mates he's more tough love. He knows the Lion has a lotta potential and he's gonna help him break it out
He like Zoroaster has a strong drawl in his speech

Got any head cannons from the Straw Hat boys, Kidd, and Law when their girlfiend/wife tells them she's pregnant?
Yeah I sure can! So side note, after I wrote all of these out, I realized I got a little too into it so oops. I also tried writing Chopper and Brook and it just felt weird, cause Chopper is a precious baby and Brook is a big ol grandpa
Luffy
He’s gonna be so excited
Luffy will definitely pick up his s/o and spin them around
Then apologize cause he’s worried about hurting them
Like holy shit he’s gonna be a dad, Ace would be so proud
Luffy is convinced it’s a boy from the moment he finds out because he wants to name the baby after Ace
He and his s/o are going to be snack buddies, ohmygod poor Sanji
As the due date approaches Luffy will start to get really impatient, he wants to see his baby right now
He’s 100% not allowed in the delivery room
He cries when his baby is born, not matter what the gender is
Zoro
He’s a stoic guy, so he’s going to have a stoic reaction
He’ll honestly say something stupid like “huh?”
He’s just surprised and is bad at showing his feelings
Zoro would probably give his partner a lil kiss on the head and tell them he’s happy
Nothing much will change outwardly with Zoro
He’ll still go on his daily routine, but will always keep an extra eye on his partner
Zoro will be stressing out on the inside and will most likly train even more because now he’s got another person to protect
This man is going to be so stressed the closer the due date comes, just becasue he doesn’t know what to expect
Zoro will be there for the delivery of his child, no ifs ans or buts about it
He won’t cry when his child is born, but he will just sit there holding his baby, and gaze at it.
Like this tiny child is his responsibility now
So proud
Sanji
He’s going to suspect something off before his s/o even tells him about the pregnancy
I mean come on he’s very dutiful and will notice if they behave even a little differently than normal
Sanji is going to be exstatic
He’ll grin like a fool and will probably start crying
That one moment will change the way he thinks about life
His poor s/o will never have a moment to themselves after that
He’s going to cater to their every whim not matter what the time is
Want pickles and peanut butter at four a.m.? Don’t worry Sanji will have it
So much belly touching
He’d adore seeing his s/o being heavily pregnant with his baby
When the time comes for his baby to be born, Sanji panics
The weeks worth of preparation are completely forgotten for about five minutes
Sanji actually gets kicked out of the devilry room for being too over bearing and sassy with the doctors
He may actually kick down the door when the doctor says its okay for him to come back in
He’s gonna hop in bed with his partner and cuddle them, while holding his newborn
Usopp
When his s/o first tells him, he’s not gonna say anything
He just doesn’t know what to do or say, it’s just overwhelming
He’ll need like two minutes to process the inofrmation and then he’d be so excited
He’s gonna have a baby! He’s going to be a father, but once the baby is born and starts walking they could get hurt. Oh god his s/o could get hurt or die in labor or- etc etc etc
Like in other things during his life his going to be so fucking stressed and he’ll imagine everything that could go wrong
When he’s not stressing out, Usopp would really enjoy shopping for baby clothes
“Look how tiny those shoes are! No foot should be so small!”
He’d cater to almost all of his s/o’s needs, he probably would fetch them random foods in the middle of the night but other than that he’s more than happy to help them
Frantically reads everything he can about pregnancy and child care
He’ll probably tease his s/o when they need helping tying their boot laces
He’s actually the most calm out of all the Straw Hats when his s/o goes into labor
He’ll remain by his s/o’s side the entire time and give them support
Usopp won’t cry when his child is born, it’ll just be liquid pride
Franky
This man will immediately start posing and dancing all over the place
He’s going to be touching his s/o’s tummy immediatly
He’s just going to be so god damn happy
He’ll start making a baby crib and a cool stroller
Like Usopp he’d love going shopping with his s/o for baby clothes and toys but he’d rather make his own toys
Franky is going to be a little more watchful of his s/o but he’ll try to be casual about
For example Franky will make up reasons to be with his partner no matter what the situation is
When his s/o gets farther along in the pregnancy he’s going to be a little more withdrawn from his partner
He knows he’s a big guy and he doesn’t want to hurt the baby or his s/o
When his s/o goes into labor he’s not going to be in the devilry room, he can’t stand to see his partner in pain
He’d probably hide himself in his workshop for a little while just to distract him
Ohgod he’s going to cry so much throughout this whole expirence, but when his kid is born it’s going to be like The Great Flood
That’s his baby and his child is super
Kidd
Ohmygod this man will just stare at his s/o, when they announce the pregnancy
Like he’s not gonna say jack shit cause what is he suppose to say?
Honestly Kidd isn’t excited, he’s actually irritated but he loves his s/o
Underneath his anger is actually just a lot of fear and frustration because he’s scared of being a bad father
As the months pass he’ll start to ease up on his s/o, just something about seeing their belly swollen with his child makes his heart beat a little heart faster
He’s just gonna be interally worried and grumpy on the outside, like a sour patch kid
He’s going to stay out of the delivery room by choice, that’s just not a situation he wants to be apart of
Law
Law is going to know before his partner tells him
But because he’s a little shit, we his partner tells him he’ll smirk and say “I know that.”
He’ll be really anxious through the whole pregnancy and will have created a specialized diet for his s/o
His going to get his s/o the very best pre-natal vitamins
When his s/o’s baby bump starts to show he’ll fall asleep touching his partners belly so he can protect the baby in his sleep
Reading all the books about pregnancy and labor
Throughout the entire pregnancy he’s going to do all of his s/o’s check ups because there’s no one better than him
But as the due date approaches he interally begins to freak out and will take his s/o to see a professional OBGYN
During time of delviery Law is going to be there for his s/o
That doesn’t mean he isn’t freaking out he just doesn’t show it
If his kid is a boy, he’ll hold his newborn give the baby a gentle smile and say, “Welcome home, Corazan.”

Soba is a Dish Best Served Cold [Sanji | Soba-Mask fic | Chapter 1]
Rating: Gen  Warnings: Canon typical violence  Characters: Sanji, The Straw Hat Pirates
The Straw Hats stop on an island to relax and refresh after their adventures in Wano, but after hearing about some dark happenings nearby, Sanji decides he'd rather skip resting, and don a certain caped costume once again, looking to help those who need him instead.
-----
Sanji took one careful step over towards the edge of the roof he was currently standing on, crouching down slowly to perch there, the very tips of his boots sticking out and over the side as he peered intently down over the cityscape below him. It was both noisy, and quiet. The sounds of the city still roared this late into the night, from people shouting gleefully or drunkenly at each other in the streets, to dogs barking as people passed the alleyways they hid in. Yet the night somehow made it feel so much more quiet than any shouts in the day, and Sanji couldn’t tell if it was just the still of the darkness, or if it actually was quieter, no matter how intently he listened.
He was looking, well- listening, for something, anything really. A suspicious figure making their way down the dark alleyways and backroads of the city as they spoke hushedly on a transponder snail, a commotion caused by a robbery or an attack of some kind, or even just a scream for help that echoed through the barren streets that night. Anything of the kind would be enough to move him from his perch and into action, looking to help whoever should need it.
The Straw Hats had stopped here on this booming and bustling island earlier that day, looking for some sort of refresher after everything they had been through in Wano Country just mere weeks prior. Goodness knew they needed it, after dealing with what they had there, and no one had had any qualms about taking a slight detour on their way to the next island.
Leaving Wano had been bittersweet, of course. It always was. Saying goodbye to those they had sailed with, who they had fought with, and had befriended through their journey was painful, as usual whenever they made new nakama on their many misadventures, but it was also tinged in the sweetness of accomplishment and how they had achieved their goals on their journey, and that they had befriended those along the way in the first place. It was all another step to making their captain the Pirate King, and every one of them were grateful to be a part of it.
Yes, they all loved the excitement and chaos of a good adventure on their journeys, but a good few days of relaxation and avoiding mishaps was always a good thing to have in between.
Well, it would be, if Sanji were to actually relax...
Yesterday, Nami had found this city-filled island on the maps along route to their next destination, and had adamantly decided they all needed a break after Wano at such a place that promised rest and relaxation, and boasted it’s seemingly endless restaurants, spas, and shopping. It was blindingly obvious that Nami’s intentions weren’t just to get everyone rested up for the next adventure, but rather to bargain and haggle her way into bankrupting half of the shops here. But none of them would dare to argue with her or call her out on it.
Besides, they all needed to stretch their legs up and away from each other for a bit, so this seemed like the perfect opportunity. And everyone had done just that as soon as they had docked earlier in the afternoon, with Nami heading for the spas and shops, Zoro looking for a tavern with Luffy, and Sanji himself separating from any of the little groups to head to the food market by himself.
He was in search of things they needed to stock up on before they set sail again next, or refillings of little treats that everyone enjoyed having on the ship. It was his job as the chef to ensure everyone could snack happily, and he was also looking forward to possibly finding local ingredients that couldn’t be found anywhere else. He loved figuring out new recipes to go with them whenever he found something new, and the new flavors were always so exciting.
He hadn’t been in the markets long though, before he caught onto a few whispers.
It started out with just a few whispers, and concerned looks in his direction. The faces of people trying to figure out who he was, who the brand new face was. Normally, Sanji was used to it, given how many little island towns they had stopped at over the years together, but here it just felt- out of place. It was a big city, not a small town. Why did it feel like everyone was trying to figure out if they had seen him before or not?
Admittedly, it wasn’t just him. He noticed the distrusting glances traded every now and then between other market goers, and it did nothing but worry him just slightly. He could sense something was going on in this city, and he wasn’t sure it would be anything good from what he was finding.
It was only a bit later on in his shopping did he hear any sort of firm information as to why everyone was looking so distrusting at one another.
“Here you go sir! That’ll be five hundred berries.”
“Thank you, mademoiselle. Please, keep the change~”
“Aww, why aren’t you sweet!” She blushed and waved a hand at him as he laughed and took the bag of fruits from the stall girl. She was adorable, and as per usual, Sanji was falling fast. Peppy and sweet, she had thrown in an extra apple for free if he’d promise her he’d try an apple tart recipe she had given him during his browsing of her stand. He wondered if he’d be able to have a drink with her later that night, and decided the question at the very least was worth a shot.
“One more thing, miss-”
She looked back up with him with a smile and a tilt of her head. “Ah, yes sir?”
She was adorable- A face covered in freckles was framed in fiery curls that were held back by a forest green bandana, both complementing the greens and reds of the apples and other fruits she was selling, with a slightly muddied dress to match. She would occasionally wipe her hands down on the apron she had tied around her waist, though Sanji wasn’t sure what she was wiping off, or if it would even help given all the flour that had taken up residence on her apron. He found it entirely endearing, nonetheless, and had found his latest crush in her. He took in a slight breath before he popped his question.
“I was wondering if you would be so kind as to join me for a drink sometime later tonight. You could pick your favorite place, and it would be my treat.”
“Ah!” She exclaimed, her demeanor changing suddenly. Her smile fading, she was no longer peppy, she wrung her hands together once and let out a nervous laugh.
“Honestly, sir, I wouldn’t advise going out too much at night if you can help it. What with everything going on lately…”
He blinked at her once, barely processing the rejection over her slightly concerning choices of words before he shook his head slightly with a laugh. “My apologies miss, but I’m mostly just passing through here, so I’m not very aware of the local happenings. What would be so wrong in going out for a drink tonight?”
“Well… There’s been quite a few… attacks lately…”
“Attacks?”
"Yes sir, attacks." She let out a sigh with another wring of her hands. Sanji hated to see her so worried, but he had wanted an explanation as to why the whole city seemed to be so distrusting of each other, even more so than others they had stopped at in the past, and it was looking like this was his best bet at getting an answer.
“Have people been getting badly hurt?” He pressed gently, trying his best not to upset her, but actually get information at what was even going on. She shook her head.
“Um… I guess you could say that, but… it’s usually much worse…” She rubbed the back of her neck. “I don’t think one person who’s gotten attacked has made it out alive, at least to my knowledge.”
Sanji gaped slightly, a chill running down his spine.
“Not one? Then how do you know what’s causing the disappearances? I mean-” He shook his head and waved a hand lightly. “Not to doubt your information, just to question the-”
“Because the local law enforcement always finds puddles of blood with some sort of belongings that belonged once to the now missing person, or people.”
Sanji went silent after that, unsure of how to respond or even if he should after hearing something like that come from such a frightened lady’s mouth. He had his explanation, though. And he knew he wouldn’t like it, not based on the looks people gave around the city and the way they had been carrying themselves, but this was a completely different level. Possible murders or brutal kidnappings? That was the work of disgusting people and pirates that riddled the streets of gambling and port towns that were meant for such leeches, not a city that boasted about it’s leisurely activities and shopping districts.
Something sinister was patrolling the shadows, it seemed.
He would admit, he didn’t see himself as one who got involved in situations like this by his own choice, not at all. The very life of a pirate was living side by side with danger, and ignoring the fall out from such. That involved not helping everyone he would come across on every single island they would stop at, no matter how docile or hostile the island was. His nakama would laugh though, claiming there wasn’t a person in the world he wouldn’t drop everything to help, and no matter how much he threatened to not let them have dinner that night or snacks that morning, it did nothing to deter them from cheering about how weak he was for those who needed help, and how kind his heart was because of it. Not even he could help but smile, throwing out more empty threats as they always carried on despite it all.
Besides, the stall girl seemed quite distressed anyway, and who was he if he chose to ignore a woman’s sufferings?
“And is there… a certain area of the city where most of these incidents are taking place?” He questioned, trying to seem casual but it was probably obvious right now what he was doing regardless. “Maybe a corner of the city that whoever has been doing these things has been hanging out in more than other areas? A home base, so to speak?”
It took her a moment, he’d give himself that. But her jaw slowly dropped open as she realized what he was questioning of her.
“You’re… you’re not seriously thinking about going out and finding out who’s doing all of this, are you?!”
He shrugged, nestling his paper bag of fruit into the crook of his elbow.
“I don’t know, I just thought it’d be nice to see the city during the few days I’m going to be here, and would rather avoid the less safe and tasteful corners of the neighborhood.”
“Has anyone told you how awful of a liar you are?”
He couldn’t help the grin that spread across his face in the next second. Oh, if only she had seen him throughout his years as a pirate- how much he had lied to their enemies faces and gotten away with it so smoothly- To the point where he was right behind Nami and Usopp in terms of who could lie the best and get away with the most.
“No, never, mademoiselle~”
She only continued to stare back at him, almost disbelieving of what he had just asked her a moment ago. So slowly began to shake her head as she lifted a hand to the bridge of her nose.
“Right. Sure. A random man who claims to be new in town wants to take down a possible serial killer that no one, not even the local law enforcement, has any clues or leads on yet. Wonderful. Wow, Bea, you’re really about to tell him aren’t you?”
“Well Bea, I would first like to say you have a beautiful name befitting of such a wonderful young lady-” Sanji began, his smile only growing bigger as he gave her a little bow, careful not to spill the contents of the bag he held. “- And secondly, if I were to, say, take down a possible serial killer that no one, not even the local law enforcement, has any clues or leads on yet…”
He held his right hand out to her, and waited to continue until she had given him a confused look and put her own hand in his. He kissed the back of her hand lightly before looking back up at her, a smile still ever present as he spoke again.
“Would you be so kind as to join me for a drink sometime later this week?”
She let out a groan slowly, but a smile began to form across her face despite it as he let out a laugh before finishing his sentence.
“You could pick your favorite place, and it would be my treat.”
She just watched him for a moment, trying to read him in some shape or form, before she shook her head defeatedly, a few curls escaping her bandana as she did so with a smile.
“Look, if you’re so willing to recklessly chase someone who’s somehow managed to take so many lives, be my guest. But don’t you expect to play hero and then come waltzing back here to take me on a date without actually catching the guy and making it out alive.”
“Oh darling, trust me, I don’t ‘play’ hero.”
“Sure.”
“So.” He straightened up, letting go of her hand as she gently pulled it back away. “Where are most of the crimes happening? Is there a general area I could look?”
She gave a hesitant shrug. “Most of the cases I’ve heard have been happening on the south side of town, near the far port. There’s taverns there for any sailors or pirates to stop in and it makes for good business usually, except lately with everything going on.”
“And you’re sure it isn’t just some pirate activity going on? Bar fights with innocents getting wrapped up into it all?”
“There’s never any bodies, just blood and something belonging to the victims.”
He rubbed his goatee as he thought it over. It was the perfect place to do whatever the culprit was doing- choosing an area that was both usually busy and also a bit shady. A place where pirates and sailors frequented, coming and going so much that the local authorities would assume at first that the culprit of the crimes was a passing pirate, and that there wouldn’t be any need in locating them in the first place, given how quickly they would have left the island after doing something so horrible as what they had if they were even slightly smart.
He could only hope that everyone had caught on that this wasn’t just a passing pirate anymore, not after how often it was happening long after the criminal should have escaped after doing what they had. This was someone who was here for a long haul, or a resident of the island themself. And if it was the former, Sanji needed to catch them quickly, in case they were on the ending half of their stay here or risk losing them.
And the taverns… That just ensured drunken victims and witnesses to entangle themself with. Less likelihood of them getting caught should they slip up if no one was in the proper state of mine to identify them in the first place. At the very least, this person- or people- had been smart enough to think of a good location to do what they were doing. He would just need to be smarter in order to catch them.
Easy enough.
He gave Bea another smile before adjusting his paper bag once more and giving her a little wave goodbye.
“I think that’s all I need, thank you mademoiselle~”
She stared at him once more, before rolling her eyes with a smile.
“Sure, well, good luck with your little murder mystery, sir. Please don’t go dying as well, alright? You actually seem sweet, and I’d hate to see you in the paper tomorrow for any other reason besides being crowned a hero for taking down the perpetrator.”
“Sweet you say? Why, you flatter me, my dear!” He laughed, taking a step away as he began to leave. “The name is Sanji, and I hope to hear you exclaim it tomorrow when I come back here to take you out for drinks that evening, alright?”
She watched him walking away, nodding at him as he did so, so he could leave with an answer to his flirts at the very least. She could only hope he would cower away from what was going on by nightfall. He seemed like a nice man, and his eyes were nothing but kind.
Sani, however, was confident. He’d dealt with emperors of the sea, Marine admirals, and warlords of every shape and form. He’d faced greater threats than most, and even faced his abusers again for the sake of his true family. It would take more than a street criminal to make him cower from a fight, much less when a date with a lady was at stake, or the lives of whoever else this criminal planned on taking too in the future should Sanji not stop them here.
He wouldn’t be cowering anytime soon, no. That much was obvious. It was simply a matter of how he was going to go about tracking down the guy, and taking him down…
He had a bit of an idea as to how, though.
-----
His wait in silence on the city rooftops ended abruptly, the moment a piercing scream echoed through the alleyways and reached his ears.
He jumped into action, quite literally, off of the building. The scream was coming from the direction of the port and taverns, and he hadn’t seen anyone go by for a while now, which could mean very little witnesses to what was going on, much less credible and sober ones. He needed to be fast, or else whoever was causing the scream, and whoever was doing the screaming, would be gone before he could get there.
The cold air bit his cheeks where they weren’t covered in his mask as he jumped, and the wind whipped by him as he fell. It was a free fall- He hadn’t yet activated his boots, or made any attempt at sky walk, and there was no need to. Falling was faster, a more direct route to get to the source of the screaming, and yet somehow- it was as if time itself slowed.
He could never place it, not when he dropped from sky walking, and not when he first dropped from flight when he had first donned the raid suit when fighting against Page 1. It was a freefall, and time moved slowed for the mere seconds it would last, seeing as he never got high enough for it to last any longer. The world was unmoving for the time, and the stillness held a calm unlike any other he had experienced. His entire senses were somehow both screaming out all at once, and not there at all, his heart beat pounding once and then nothing, not until his descent was complete.
He wondered if any of the others felt this way whenever they jumped from high places, be it Luffy launching himself off of something headfirst into adventure or a fight, or Chopper jumping from a floor up to change forms before mowing down an enemy or join the others in whatever fun they were having. Maybe it was just him, just Sanji who felt this strange sense of calm wash over him in the moments before he caught himself midair and stuck a landing, or launched back into flight.
Whatever it was, he enjoyed it. He enjoyed the feeling of the fall, and he enjoyed the moment that seemed to last forever, yet in reality only lasted a second or two before he would flip around and catch himself, dashing off in the direction of the screaming as fast as his suit would take him, to save someone. To solve what was going on. To help someone who needed him.
Who needed Soba Mask.

. He is amazed by this little person. So small, so tiny, so fragile in his hands. He promises to protect his child until his death.
. Smoker is the over protective parent.
. Reads every book on parenting he can get his hands on and even then he isn’t sure it’s enough.
. Genuine pro at nappy changing. He has dealt with much worse than a bit of poop – he’s a Vice Admiral after all. There has been one or two occasions where he has just burned the clothes instead of bothering to wash them though.
. He baby proofs everything and once his kid starts walking he’s a nervous wreck.
. Every bump, scrape and scratch is like he has failed. And when his child cries his heart breaks a little bit each time. He will swoop in, pick them up and check them over and kiss them better, wiping away their tears.
. But he learns pretty quickly that children are resilient.
. Has a chest carrier, dose not give a shit if anyone makes fun of him.
. He only trusts Tashigi and Hina to watch his child. The rest of G5 isn’t getting near without a responsible adult present. Not a fucking chance.
. Genuinely loves going clothes shopping for his kid and picking out adorable little outfits.
. He has no idea on sizes though, just sort of holds it up to the child and is like “Yeah, i’m sure that will fit?” It’s not till Tashigi explains it that he actually starts getting the right sized clothes.
. Tashigi buys them matching outfits.
. Tries his best to not smoke around his child. Super super hard for him but he does manage it because his kid is more important than anything else.

Kid
. Lets be clear. Kid never wanted children and the only reason he has one now is because his partner wouldn’t get rid of it.
. So when he first sees the baby he is not expecting to feel anything other than annoyance.
. Which is exactly what he does feel when the little chewed up toffee is placed gently in to his remaining arm.
. When the nurse tells him to keep the head and neck supported he grunts and wonders how in the hell he is going to keep something so small and weak alive – on the grand line no less. Can't even hold it’s own damn head up.
. But he watches the baby, listens to the soft noises it makes and watches it’s little fingers opening and closing and something in him sort of shifts. And he gets this tight feeling in his throat that he can’t swallow away.
. He gives the baby to whoever will take it and leaves the room.
. Kid doesn’t hold the baby much after that. But he’ll watch it, in the night when everyone else is asleep and it’s just him and the kid. And he likes the way that when he puts his hand next to the tiny baby hand it curls it’s fingers around one of his and it’s so strong. And maybe he’s a little bit proud.
. He puts up panels around the ship so the toddler can’t fall in to the sea, but other than that it’s free to roam. There is always someone keeping an eye on it (mainly Killer, who is already wrapped around the babies little finger)
. When the child starts to crawl, then walk, Kid just lets it. He doesnt know the milestones for babies but he is convinced his child is above average.
. Doesnt realise it but he brags about his child all the time. To the crew. Random people. Sometimes his enemies. If anyone points it out he denies it and storms off.
. Makes really elaborate toys for his child. His kid has the coolest things to play with out of any child in the OP Verse.
. Whever Kid hears his kid crying he will be there in seconds. He might not always do anything. Might just tell the child to get up and stop being so lame, but he is always there – just in case.
. If anyone hurts his kid they’re in for a world of pain. Even if it was an accident. Even if it’s just a scratch. Kid isn’t having that.
. When it’s bedtime and his child won’t sleep, Kid will let them crawl in to bed with him, curled up around the stump of his arm with their back against his chest. And he will never, ever tell anyone. But he wouldn’t give those moments up for anything in the world.
Tumblr media
Robin
. Robin never really planned to have children. Not because she didn’t want any, but because she didn’t think she would live long enough to get the chance.
. So when she finds out she is pregnant she is both shocked, pleased and a little overwhelmed.
. She doesn’t know if she should keep it – being a pirate is dangerous and she can’t. Can’t. Lose her child like she did everyone else she cared about.
. But she has the Straw Hats now, and they all promise her, above anything, they will protect her and her baby.
. And when the child is born she knows she made the right decision. When she holds her baby she can’t help the tears that trickle down her face. But she is smiling, and she doesn’t think she will ever stop smiling in that moment, looking down at her most precious treasure.
. All of the Straw Hats help to raise the child. It is spoiled rotten by Aunt Nami and Uncle Sanji. Never a dull moment with Uncle Luffy and Uncle Usopp. Always safe with Uncle Zoro and Papa Franky around. No scratch or scrape untreated with Uncle Chopper on hand and with Uncle Brook to sing them to sleep and Uncle Jinbei to snuggle with there are no bad dreams.
. Robin tells her child stories. She tells them of Ohara. Of her research on the Poneglyphs. Her time in Baroque Works and when she was imprisoned on Tequila Wolf.
. She promises her kid that there will be no secrets between them.
. While Robin trusts her crew with her life she always keeps an eye on her child no matter who is watching them. She doesn’t let the child out of her sight it she can help it.
. Nami and Jinbei are probably the only two she really trusts to be unsupervised with the kid.
. When they dock on new islands Robin takes her child with her to explore any ruins or ancient places she can find.
. She always makes sure her child is dressed correctly. Coats and boots for winter islands and cool clothes for summer islands. Robin keeps suncream and plasters on hand in case and she isalways prepared for any situation she might finger herself in where her child is concerned.

King And Queen Of The Pirates
Chapter Two, Enter The Great Swordsman! Roronoa Zoro!
"What a day! It's gorgeous!" Exclaimed Luffy. He, Aya, and Coby have been sailing for some time and the weather was steady and clear. Coby nodded his head in agreement.
"Yeah. As long as the weather goes this good and we take this path, we'll be at the Marine base in no time," He said. Luffy turned to him with his eyes sparkling with excitement.
"You mean it? Hot dog! You're the best, Coby! How do you even know?" asked Luffy.
"I know this stuff because all sailors must know their ways of the seas," Said Coby. Luffy turned back to the ocean and laughed.
"That's what I've always been telling him, but my big brother always rush into things with thinking. By the way, how are we going to get into a Marine base without getting caught, Luffy? We're pirates, remember?" Said Aya. Luffy didn't answer. "Anndd, he's not listening..."
"I don't see what's to be so perky right now, Luffy. Besides...at the Marine base," Coby said with a frightened look on his face.  "They're holding the great pirate hunter, Roronoa Zoro. This is the man who diced up his bounties like an animal bent on carnage. A blood thirsty beast. He's been called nothing less than a living breathing demon in human form. Like he was sent straight from hell."
"All of the more reason to check him out." Said Aya.
"Alright! We're here! The Marine Base City!"  Yelled Luffy, excitedly as the boat pulled up to the port to a small island with many buildings . They docked it and Coby tied up the boat to a post. He, Luffy, and Aya walked around, exploring the city. Luffy's head started darting around wildly at all the booths and people. Aya was looking around, keeping a look out, while Coby looked uncomfortable.
"Luffy, seriously! You two are out of your mind if you think this guy is gonna want to join your crew," Said Coby.
"I haven't made up my mind yet. I first gotta see if he's a good guy," Luffy said as he walked ahead.
"Plus, we need to see how tough he is," Aya added.
"He's imprisoned because he's obviously not!" Coby shouted as Luffy bought a pear and took at bite out of it.
"Hey, is that pirate hunter Zoro around here?" He asked the shop keeper. The lady who was selling the fruits and some other people jumped back in shock. They stared at Luffy with wide eyes as their bodies shook in fear, leaving the three, confused by what happened. Luffy blinked. Aya walked by him and whispered in Luffy's ear. "Yeah, we shouldn't probably go around announcing out loud that we're looking for him." She said. Then she smacked Luffy on his head. "Idiot."
"Maybe we shouldn't mention the name Zoro around here." Coby whispered, suggestively. Luffy shrugged and the three began walking again. Aya felt like she was being watched. She saw some people giving her suspicious looks. Aya heard two men were whispering to each other.
"Do you think she's a witch?" asked one of the men.
"What are you whispering about?!" shouted Aya, angrily. The two men jumped and trembled in fear. They ran away from her. "RUN! SHE'LL PUT A CURSE ON US!" Shouted one of the men as they ran. Aya rolled her eyes, following after Luffy and Coby.
"Let's head to the base. You said you wanted to be a Marine, right?" Luffy asked.
"I do, Luffy, I'm just not that sure if I'm ready. From what I've heard, the man who runs the base is someone called Captain Morgan." Said Coby. Once again, the people jumped back when Coby mentioned Morgan's name. Coby and Luffy blinked. The three of them continued walking. Aya looked over her shoulder seeing the people still shaking in fear.
"Strange town," She mumbled under her breath.
"Ha-ha! This this town is such a weird place!" Luffy laughed as the three continued walking. Coby was lost in thought.
"That was strange. I understand why they're afraid of Zoro, him being a killer and all, but why did they get scared when I said the Marine captain's name?" He asked.
"Maybe they did it for the fun of it." Suggested Luffy.
"How does that make any sense?" Asked Coby.
"He's probably corrupted," Aya added.
Coby stopped in his tracks and glared at Aya. "You take that back!" He shouted.
"What? All I'm saying is that he's probably abusing his power," said Aya.
"The Marines don't do that!" Coby shouted.
Aya smirked then leaned in toward Coby's face then flicked her finger on his forehead. "Face reality, kid, some people do that," She said. "Especially the higher ups."
"You shut your mouth right now!" Growled Coby.
"Why, you wanna fight me? How cute!" Aya laughed.
"D-Don't you touch me!" Coby shouted. Aya took a step closer to him and he backed away.
"Why? Scared that I'll get my evil pirate cooties all over you?" Aya taunted.
"Shut up!" Growled Coby.
Luffy let out a whistle. "Wow, this must be the place!" He said. The two stopped and looked to see a huge gate in front of them. It was the Marine's base. Coby looked like he was going to cry.
"I...made it...thank you so much, Luffy, Aya. I-I can't believe we're going to have to go our own ways even though I find you as my best frie-"
"Where's the foothold or something?" Asked Luffy as he tried to climb over the stone wall.
"Get off of there, Luffy! Or they'll see you and you'll get arrested!" Yelled Coby.
Aya sighed. "What an idiot..."
Luffy blocked the sunlight with his hand as he scoured "Ok, so where's that demon?"
"They're probably hiding him in an underground prison cell or something. They wouldn't just show him out and the-"
"FOUND HIM!" Exclaimed Luffy. Coby and Aya managed to climb up the wall and looked over to see a man far off in the distance, tied to a post. He was wearing a black bandanna on his head, a white shirt and dark green pants and black boots.
"That's him, right, Coby?" Asked Luffy. Coby trembled in fear.
"If we untie those ropes, he could just walk away, right?" Asked Luffy.
"No way! If we do that, he'll just kill us all with one strike!" Shouted Coby. Luffy grinned.
"Don't worry, me and my sis are really strong, so there's nothing to be afraid of." He said.
"You both have lost your marbles!" Shouted Coby.
"Hey, you three," They hear a voice call out to them, roughly. Coby flinched. "You're eyesores. Get lost." Muttered Zoro. Coby yelped and grabbed Luffy's arm.
"Come on! Let's just go, Luffy! There's no way a criminal like him would want to be on your crew!" He yelled. Then, a ladder landed near Luffy and Aya looked and saw a little girl climbing up it. The little girl turned to the three and shushed them. Then she climbed over the wall, holding a small package in her hands.
"We gotta save her or else she'll be killed by the Marines or the demon himself!" Yelled Coby.
Neither, Luffy or Aya made a move. They watched as the little girl run over to Zoro and smiled at him. "What do you want?" Zoro asked. The little girl smiled.
"I thought you'd be getting hungry now. So I made you some rice balls." She said, unwrapping the package.
"You gotta death wish, kid? Get lost." Said Zoro. The girl held out two rice balls to him.
"But, you haven't eaten in a long time. So here. I made them myself. It's my first try though." She said.
"Listen, kid. You're really starting to bug the living hell out of me. So why don't you just scram." Zoro threatened.
"But-!"
"Do not make me kick your ass, little girl! Get lost!" Yelled Zoro.
"Now, now, no one likes a bully," a loud annoying voice called out. Zoro glared as a man with two Marine soldiers walked up. "Roronoa Zoro, you seem to be handling the situation well, aren't you?" asked the man.
"Who's the other weird guy?" Asked Luffy. Coby sighed in relief.
"Thank god. He looks like he's with the Marines. At least we know the little girl will be safe." He said. Aya frowned as she stared at the man. She didn't like him. Not one bit.
"I'm not so sure about that," Said Aya.
"What do you mean?" Asked Coby.
"I don't like the looks of this guy." Said Aya. The man took a rice ball from the girl.
"Yum. Some tasty rice balls." He said. "That's not for you!" Cried the little girl. The man took a bite out of it. His face twisted with disgust. He spat out the rice ball and threw it to the ground along with the second one and stomped on it.
"No! Stop that! Please!" Cried the little girl.
"You imbecile! You filled this rice ball with sugar! It's supposed to be salt!" Yelled the man as he stomped one last time, destroying the rice balls.
"But-but-" The little girl was about to cry. "I worked so hard to make those."
"Too bad, brat. Dispose of her immediately or my father will have your heads." The man commanded. Aya growled as her hands gripped the scaffolding in anger. She was about to move, but Luffy grabbed her shoulder so she wouldn't jump over the wall. One of the soldiers hesitantly grabbed the little girl.
"I'm sorry. Just curl into a ball, okay?" asked the man as he threw the girl. The little girl cried as she was thrown over the wall.
"Luffy! Catch her!" shouted Aya. Luffy quickly stretched his arms out and grabbed the little girl. The two landed on the ground roughly. Luffy's hat fell off as well.
"Thanks, mister!" said the little girl. Luffy blinked before smiling.
"No problem." He said. Coby and Aya ran over to the two.
"Luffy! Are you guys, okay? God, how can that man be so cruel?" asked Coby as he checked over the little girl to see any signs of injury.
"I said it once, kid," said Aya. "Corruption."
"You shut up! You don't know what you're talking about!" Growled Coby.
"Man, you're stubborn!" shouted Aya. "What's it going to take for you to get it through your thick head!?" Luffy picked his hat up as he stood up, ignoring the two who were scrabbling with each other.
"Damn you." Muttered Zoro under his breath. He glared at the snickering man.
"Trying to keep your composer, Roronoa? My, you really wanna get out of here, don't you?" asked the man.
"That's right. I'll make through the month. Just you watch." Muttered Zoro. The man began snorting as he howled in laughter.
"Yeah, right! Keep dreaming, Roronoa!" snorted the man as he and his men walked away.
Coby sighed in relief seeing that the girl was unharmed. "Okay, you look fine. How can that man be so heartless?" Coby asked himself. He and Aya looked around and saw that Luffy was nowhere to be seen. " What the?! Now where'd he go?" He asked.
Zoro sighed as he closed his eyes, trying to gather up his thoughts. For some reason, he felt like he was being watched. He opened his eyes and saw a boy wearing a straw hat standing in front of him. Zoro blinked. Luffy looked at him with a calm look on his face. "So...I hear you're a bad guy," He said.
"You're still here?" asked Zoro, bored.
"You're tied up here for the whole world to see and for what? Nothing. Are you sure as strong as they say?" asked Luffy.
"Mind your own business, kid," Muttered Zoro. Luffy sighed and walked closer to Zoro.
"If I were you, I'd probably starve in three days," Luffy joked. Zoro smirked.
"Heh, I have more spirit than you know. Which is how I'll survive this ordeal. This, I swear." He said, confidently. Luffy grinned.
"Ha! You're such a weirdo!" He joked as he began to walk away.
"Wait, hold on." Zoro called out. Luffy stopped. Zoro looked down at his feet. "Could you...pick that up for me?" He asked, seeing the dirty mud covered rice ball on the ground. Luffy blinked and picked it up.
"You wanna eat this? But, it looks ruined already and mostly a ball of mud-"
"Shut up and give it to me, kid!" yelled Zoro. Shrugging, Luffy walked up to Zoro, and tossed the rice ball into the swordsman's mouth. It tasted horrible but at least it was better than starving to death. Zoro coughed as he felt some dirt in his mouth. Luffy giggled.
"You should've listened to me!" said Luffy in a giggling tone.
"No, it was good. Tell that kid that I said thanks." Muttered Zoro. Luffy walked away, tilting his straw hat.
Luffy, Aya and Coby walked with the little girl, which they discovered that her name was Rika. "You mean it?! He said that?!" asked the little girl.
"Yep. And ate it all up." said Luffy, smiling. Rika beamed as she smiled happily. Coby placed a finger on his chin, thinking.
"Huh, I'm starting wonder if Roronoa Zoro is as bad as everyone says." He said. Rika shook her head.
"No way! Big brother Zoro is a good guy! After all..." The little girl looked to the ground. "He saved this town." She whispered.
"What do you mean?" asked Aya. Rika twiddled her thumbs.
"It's all Helmeppo's fault. He's the son of Captain Morgan. Three weeks ago, he brought a vicious wolf into town and it terrified the living daylights out of everyone. But, then, Zoro came and he nearly finished off Helmeppo. That big meanie threatened to kill me and my mom. But, he said that if Zoro could survive being tied up to that big post for a month, then he could be let go. But, Helmeppo keeps cheating by trying to break Zoro's spirit. It's...it's not fair!" cried Rika as she began to sob.
Suddenly, there was a loud crash that came from the little girl's family restaurant. The four ran towards the building. It was Helmeppo. He was throwing orders and terrorizing and giving death threats to everyone. Luffy and Aya clenched their fists as they watched in anger. Aya gritted her teeth as she glared at the man.
"I am incredibly bored now and I'm trying to find something fun to do. I suppose I can just have Zoro executed. Oh, wouldn't that be hysterical!" snorted the blond as he threw his head back and laughed.
Suddenly, a fist shot out and cracked Helmeppo right in the jaw as Aya punched him and his face slammed into a wall. Coby's mouth dropped in horror while Luffy stared in silence at his sister. Helmeppo slumped on the floor as he glared up at Aya. She was breathing heavily and gritted her teeth as she seethed in rage, looking down at this disgusting excuse for a human being. "H-How dare you?! Y-You hit me!" exclaimed Helmeppo as his men tried to help him up. He gaped at her in shock, staring at her sea foam green eyes. "Y-You witch!"
"No, how dare you call yourself a Marine. You disgusting piece of trash," said Aya as she glared at him. She raised her fist getting ready to punch him again but Coby grabbed her arm, holding Aya back.
"Aya! Stop it! What's wrong with you?!" asked Coby.
"I'm teaching this scum a lesson," said Aya. "This guy is a no-good, piece of shit!"
"You little brat! Do you know who I am!" demanded Helmeppo.
"I don't give a rat's ass who you are!" Shouted Aya.
"YOU'LL GIVE A DAMN WHEN YOUR HEAD HANGS FROM THE GALLOWS!" yelled Helmeppo.
"I'd like to see you try, punk!" Shouted Aya.
"Aya! Stop it! Why are you trying to pick a fight with this guy?!" Shouted Coby.
"Well, I guess that settles it," said Luffy. Coby turns to look at him, while holding Aya back. "I've made up my mind, Coby. Today, Zoro joins my crew." said Luffy.
"You're weak, Zoro. Nothing ever changes."
Zoro's eyes shot open as bullets of sweat ran down his face. Zoro took calm breaths trying to steady his heart.
"I... can't die here. I made... a promise," thought the swordsman. Then a shadow stood over him. Zoro looked up to see Luffy again.
"You again. Don't you have things to do?" asked Zoro, irritated.
"I'll untie you. As long as you promise to join my crew." said Luffy as he took a step towards the swordsman.
"Your what?" Asked Zoro.
"Me and my sister are running a pirate crew and we need people to join," said Luffy. Zoro smirked.
"No way. As if I'd stoop to that level. Joining a pirate crew is the most stupidest thing I've ever heard. Screw that business." He said, turning his head away.
"What's wrong with being a pirate?" asked Luffy.
"They're lowlifes. Joining them is the last thing I'd ever do." said Zoro. Luffy smiled.
"Come on. Everyone knows that your some kind of killer with a crave of bloodlust," He said.
"People could say what they want to say, but there is not a single thing in my life I regret. I'll make through this month and I'll accomplish what I desire." Said Zoro
Luffy blinked. "That's cool. But I still decided that your joining my crew," He said, grinning.
"What?! You can't do that!" Zoro yelled. Luffy grinned.
"I've heard that you're one of the best swordsman out there," He said.
"I am! It's just that Hel-whatever that bastard's name is took my katana." Said Zoro. Luffy winked.
"Well, I guess I'm gonna have to go get it then," He said.
"What?" Asked Zoro
"If I get your katana back, then you're joining my crew." Said Luffy.
"You're really starting to piss me off, kid!" yelled Zoro. Luffy giggled as he ran off. "Hey, genius. You're going the wrong way." Said Zoro. Luffy paused.
"Gum-Gum Rocket!" Yelled Luffy as he flinged himself past Zoro. Zoro stared in disbelief.
"What the-what the hell is this guy?" He asked himself.
Luffy hunched over, panting. "Sheesh, where is that idiot, that stole Zoro's swords?" He asked himself. Then he heard several voices above him. "Huh, wonder what's going on up there? Might as well check it out." Said Luffy. He stretched his arms to the roof edge of the Marine base.
"Gum-Gum Rocket!" He yelled as he flew up. But, he was gaining too much speed. "Too far! Too far! Too far!" yelled Luffy as he flew higher. The soldiers on the roof looked up and saw Luffy as he grabbed on to the rope they were using to pull a statue. He breaks off a piece of the statue as he landed on the roof. The soldiers gaped in horror, gasping at Luffy. Luffy looked at the men, scratching his head.  "Whoops! Sorry about that!" He said, sheepishly.
A man glared at him furiously. He was huge and had blond hair and one of his hand was an axe. "Seize him at once! I want to kill him myself!" ordered the man.
"Sir, yes, sir!" Shouted the Marine soldiers.
"That's him! He's friends with the witch who hit me!" Yelled Helmeppo.
"There you are! I've been looking for you everywhere!" Yelled Luffy. He grabbed Helmeppo in a choke hold, dragging him off inside the Marine base.
"After him!" Shouted the Marine captain. The Marine soldiers chased after the Straw hat pirate. Inside the base, Luffy dragged Helmeppo down the hallways. Helmeppo was crying in terror as he did.
"Hey, dude. Tell me where you're keeping Zoro's katana." Said Luffy.
"Ok! Ok! I'll tell you!" Cried Helmeppo. Luffy stopped, listening.
"Ok, so where is it?" He asked. Helmeppo pointed in a direction.
"In my room. We just passed it." He whimpered. Luffy sighed.
"Really? Dang, I guess we're gonna have to go back then." He said.
"Halt! Release Helmeppo at once!" Luffy turned to see three Marine soldiers aiming their rifles at him. "No way. But, you could shoot me if you want." Said Luffy. He held Helmeppo in front of him like a shield. Helmeppo screamed. Luffy ran forward ramming into the soldiers with Helmeppo.
Zoro felt the ropes that were binding him being tugged. He looked to see "Luffy." "What are you doing here? I thought you were going to get my katana back," asked Zoro, confused. Then he realized his mistake. It wasn't Luffy, instead, it was a girl. Sea foam green eyes stared back into his. Zoro blushed.  He hate to admit it, but he thought she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. "Aw, hell! There's two of you?!" shouted Zoro, shocked. Aya giggled as she continued to try to untie the ropes. "That was my brother," said Aya. "I'm here to get you out of here. Coby, get your ass over here, now!" Coby ran over and started to help with the ropes.
"Great, just what I needed," Zoro muttered under his breath. "Another brat."
Aya stopped what she was doing. She narrowed her eyes at Zoro. "Don't ever compare me to my brother," said Aya, coldly. "I'm nothing like him." Zoro froze.
"You have to get out of here, Zoro," Said Coby as he got a knot undone.
"Listen, you two. That manic will kill you when he finds you both helping me," said Zoro.
"I don't care. I just can't see the Marine's name being treated like this. The Marines should be honorable." Said Coby.
"I can take care of myself. But, thank you for caring." Said Aya as she smiled. Zoro blushed then he shook his head. "Look, I can't leave! I'll be out in ten days and-"
"Actually, they were planning on killing you tomorrow." Aya interrupted. Zoro paused.
"What?" asked Zoro in disbelief.
"Helmeppo was not planning on holding his promise to you. He planned on killing you from the start. Which made Aya and Luffy really angry. Aya even hit him for it." Coby explained as he got a few of the knots undone.
"Yeah, and now the Marines are dead serious on catching the two. Don't worry, I'm not asking you to be a pirate. I just hope you help them. You three are incredibly strong. And you can save each other from a tragic fate." Said Coby. Zoro was silent.
"End of the line!" Shouted a voice. Coby and Aya froze then turned to see a tall, heavyset man with a huge axe for a hand with ten Marines soldiers.  "For the crime of treason against me, I sentence the three of you to execution." Said the large man as his men readied their rifles. Coby, Aya, and Zoro froze.
"Luffy, where are you?!" thought Aya.
Luffy entered a room and looked around. The room was pink, like a tornado barfed all over the place. "Yep, this looks like yours." He said. His eyes spotted three katanas resting by the . Two of the swords had black sheathes, another sword stood out from the rest. It had a white sheathe instead.
"Wait, there's three of them. Hey, weirdo, which one's Zoro's?" asked Luffy. Helmeppo was out like a light. "Huh, must've fell asleep." said Luffy. He looked out the window and saw Coby, Aya and Zoro being targeted with rifles by the Marines. Luffy gasped and quickly grabbed the three katanas. He ran over towards the window and opened it. Luffy clutched the window sill and walked back, his arms stretching as he did. "Gum-Gum Rocket!" Shouted Luffy as he launched himself out of the window.
"FIRE!"
The sound of gunshot echoed as they fired. Luffy landed in front of the three. Everyone watched as the bullets made contact with his body.
"LUFFY, NOOO!" shouted Coby.
"STRAW HAT!" shouted Zoro.
Their eyes widen as they saw the bullets pulling back Luffy's skin as it stretched. Grinning, Luffy stretched his body and the bullets rebounded back. "See ya!" yelled Luffy as a bullet nearly missed the Marine captain's head. Luffy threw his head back and laughed. "That won't work on me! I told you I was strong!" laughed Luffy while everyone, except Aya, stared at him with disbelief.
"Nice of you to show up at the last minute," said Aya as she tried to steady her heart beat. She stood up and walked over to Luffy and hit him on the back of the head. "What the hell were you doing?! What took you so long?!" She shouted.
"Ouch! Why'd you hit me?!" shouted Luffy as he hold his head in pain.
"For being a dumbass!" Aya shouted back.
"Who the-who the hell are you?" asked Zoro. Luffy turned to him and winked.
"My name's Monkey D. Luffy. And I'm gonna be King of the Pirates." He said, confidently. The shock fell from Zoro's face, and he rolled his eyes.
"King of the Pirates? Yeah right. Do you have any idea what that means?" He asked.
"King of the Pirates means it sounds like. How can someone not know what it means? Besides, she has the same dream as mine. Aya's going to become Queen." Luffy asked. Coby nodded his head, grinning.
"Yeah! It sounds really nuts and impossible but it really looks like they're serious. They have every intention on becoming the King and Queen of the Pirates. They have their mind set on obtaining the One Piece." said Coby. Zoro raised his eyebrow.
Luffy held out the three swords to Zoro. "Here you go, just like I promised. I didn't know which one was yours so, I brought all of them." said Luffy.
"They're all mine, kid. I am a user of the three-sword style." said Zoro. Luffy shrugged, still holding out the swords.
"Just take them already. Just know that if you fight with me, you'll become a government defying villian. It's either that or you're left here, killed by the Marines, execution style." He said. Zoro smirked.
"What are you? The son of the devil? It doesn't matter. Because if I don't choose your side, I'll end up dead on the sticks. So let's see what you got." He said. Luffy pumped his fist in the air.
"Alright! You're finally joining my crew! This is the best day ever!" He cheered.
"Would you quit fooling around and get these ropes off me?!" Shouted Zoro, annoyed.
The entire time, the Marines stood in shock at what they had just witnessed. Nobody should have been able to survive that. "Straw hat's different from the rest of us. He must have eaten of the those legendary devil fruit we've heard about." said Captain Morgan. The Marines gasped. "Yes. The very fruit that gives the one who consumes it other-worldly powers. The power to breath fire. The power to cause Tsunamis. Little is known about them. And, it seems that straw hat has just shown the power of his devil fruit. Well," Captain Morgan held his axe into the air. "If we cant' shoot them, charge!" He yelled as he and his men charged at the four. Clang! The sound of swords clashing, were heard.
The Marines stood frozen in fear as they saw that Zoro was released from his binds. He was now standing before them with two swords in his hands and one in his mouth. "Make one move and you die." Said Zoro as he glared at the soldiers. The soldiers froze in terror not moving an inch.
"Today I'll officially become a criminal. Having fought the Marines. I'll become a pirate, that I can promise you. But I tell you this now,...being a pirate won't stop me from fulfilling my ambition." said Zoro.
"What's that?" asked Aya.
"To be nothing less than the world's greatest swordsman. If something along the way stops me, then I'm making the two of you take full responsibility. After which you have to apologize to me," He said. Luffy smiled. "The world's greatest swordsman. Sounds pretty cool. The King and Queen of the Pirates would have nothing less." said Luffy. Zoro nodded.
"Big talk coming from you. From this point on, whether I'm a criminal or not, I will let the name Zoro be known throughout the world." He said.
"Kill them at once!" Yelled Captain Morgan. The soldiers charged again.
"Better duck." said Luffy. Zoro quickly ducks down. "Gum-Gum Rocket!" yelled Luffy. He knocked down the soldiers in one sweep. Zoro gasped. "Just what are you? " He asked. Luffy smiled.
"I'm the guy who ate the Gum-Gum fruit!" He said.
Luffy rushed forward towards Captain Morgan. "Bring those Marines right down to their knees!" Shouted Coby. Luffy threw his arm back punched Captain Morgan but hit his axe instead.
" You brat! You have no right to defy my superiority. I am the Marine Captain, S. M Morgan!" Shouted Morgan.
"I'm Luffy. Nice to meet ya," said Luffy.
Captain Morgan swung at him but Luffy jumped out of the way and into the air. The Captain's axe slammed into the ground. Coby's eyes widen in shock as his mouth dropped. While in the air, Luffy slammed his feet into Morgan's face, knocking the captain down. Luffy landed on his feet as Morgan started to get back up. The Marines watched in shock.
"You brat!" Growled Morgan."DIE!"
Luffy rushed towards him and dodged out off the way as the captain swung at him. He kicked him in the face, knocking Morgan down to the ground. The soldiers froze. Luffy grabbed the captains shirt and threw backs his fist. "You're going to pay for crushing Coby's dream!" Shouted Luffy as he punched Morgan.
"Hey! Stop!" Shouted Helmeppo . Luffy ignored him and continued punching Morgan. "Hey, you idiot! I said stop!" Shouted Morgan.
"Oi, Straw hat." Zoro called out. Luffy stopped and turned. Helmeppo had a gun pointed at Aya's head. Coby didn't move a muscle.
"If you care about her life, don't move! I'll shoot if you do anything else!" Yelled Helmeppo. Aya glared at him. Luffy smiled.
"You really shouldn't have done that." Luffy giggled. "She's not afraid to die."
Helmeppo's eyes widen in shock. Suddenly, a hand gripped his wrist tightly and twisted it painfully. Helmeppo cried out in pain as he dropped the gun and it fell to the ground. Aya kneed the man behind his leg knocking him down.
Coby watched in amazement. Zoro stood impressed. Luffy grinned.
"You witch!" Helmeppo shouted in pain clutching his broken wrist. "I'll see you hanged for this!"
"Shut up." Said Aya. She threw back her fist and punched Helmeppo in the face. He fell to the ground, knocked out.
Suddenly, Captain Morgan appeared behind Luffy, raising his axe.
"Luffy! Behind you!" Warned Coby.
Captain Morgan was about to hit Luffy on the head. But, Zoro rushed forward and sliced his swords straight through the captain. Captain Morgan let out a gasp then he fell on his knees to the ground. Zoro landed behind him on his feet, perfectly. The Captain didn't move at all. He was dead. The Marines cheered.
"That weird. They seem pretty happy that he's dead." said Coby. Luffy shrugged and smiled at Zoro.
"Thanks for the help," He said.
"Yeah, thanks." Aya said.
Zoro smirked and nodded. "Just doing my job, captain," He said. Luffy smiled and laughed. Zoro's smirk turned into a smile. Suddenly, his eyes began to close then he fell backwards collapsing on the ground.
"Zoro! Are you ok?" asked Coby, panicking. Zoro opened his eyes and groaned.
"Yeah. I'm just...hungry." He said. Luffy blinked before throwing his head back, laughing.
Everyone went back to Rika's family restaurant. Their were people in their who were chattering very loudly and celebrating. "Man! I can't remember I had a last good meal like that. I was ready to eat my own bootstrap if I didn't get anything to eat." said Zoro in a joking tone. His bandanna was now tied around his shoulder, revealing short sea-green hair. Coby, Rika and Rika's mother were laughing while Luffy was wolfing and gobbling down the food.
"You finished already? There's a shock." said Rika's mother.
"How could you have a bigger appetite than a guy who hasn't eaten in three weeks?" asked Zoro. Luffy shrugged.
"My brother's always been like that, it's like his secret power or something." said Aya in a joking tone.
"I'm just enjoying the food. Right, Coby?" Luffy said. Coby laughed.
"Yeah, thanks for fixing this up for us by the way," said Coby. Rika's mother smiled.
"My pleasure. After all you did save the town." She said.
"You two are the coolest people I've ever met." Said Rika to Luffy and Aya. Luffy grinned.
"Heck yeah we are! And we'll be even cooler when we're King and Queen of the Pirates and get the One Piece. Oh yeah, when we get the strongest crew in the seas." He said.
"So, how many other crew members do you have besides me and her?" Zoro asked.
Luffy took a sip from his orange juice. "Just you." He said. Zoro's smile fell. He pointed to himself.
"Me? You know, that doesn't amount to a good enough crew." He said. Luffy shrugged.
"So? We're pretty strong." He said.
"Well, do you at least have a boat?" asked Zoro. Luffy pointed out the window to a small boat that was tied and docked to a post. Zoro fell off of his seat.
"How did I get myself suckered into this?" He asked himself. "You two have got to be the worst pirates ever in history."
"Hey, watch it." growled Aya.
"Come on. It'll be loads of fun." said Luffy smiling. Zoro rolled his eyes.
"Say Luffy? Where are you guys planning on going after you leave here?" asked Rika. Luffy grinned.
"The Grand Line, of course." He said. Coby coughed as he nearly choked on his juice.
"No way! That's too dangerous!" He shouted. Luffy tilted his head.
"Why?" He asked.
Coby looked down. "As you probably know, that place is so dangerous, that only one man was able to pass it. And that was the King of the Pirates himself. Gol D. Roger. It is said that the Pirate King had placed his most valuable treasure, the One Piece, at this location. Many countless men had tried to obtain this treasure, but...it lead them all to the same terrible fate. There's a reason why that place is called a Pirate's Graveyard. No one had ever made it out there alive." said Coby as he began to tremble. Luffy leaned back in his chair.
"Eh, I'm not afraid. We're still going there anyway." He said.
"I guess we have to live with it." said Aya. Coby stood up from his chair.
"No! You can't!" He yelled. Zoro raised an eyebrow.
"Why do you care? You're not planning on coming with us, are you?" He asked.
Coby shook his head. "No. But, I still find Luffy and Aya as great friends. Even though we haven't known each other for long. Right, guys?" asked Coby. Luffy grinned. Aya smiled.
"Of course. Even though we have to part ways, we'll always be friends." He said. Coby smiled sadly.
"When I was just a little kid, I never had any friends. None that would fight on my behalf either. So I always tried my hardest to never fight for anything. But the three of you have taught me a lesson I could never learn on my own. You taught me how to fight for what I believe in. So I decided to make my dream a reality. I'm gonna join the Marines." He said, confidently.
"Good for you," said Aya. "I'm glad your sticking up for yourself. You follow your dream." Coby blushed.
Suddenly, the doors of the restaurant opened and some Marines walked in. Everyone froze in silence.
"Hey, you." said one of the men, walking over. "We heard that you are pirates, correct?" asked the man. Luffy nodded.
"Uh, no." said Aya. "We're not pirates."
"Yep. You heard right." said Luffy.
"Luffy!" Aya gritted her teeth with anger. The soldier fixed his cap.
"As we are grateful that you saved our town from that tyrant, we can not allow to go freely. There for, your crew must leave town, immediately. We will not arrest you." He said. Aya stared at the Marine soldier in shock.
"Come on! They saved our town! You're really going to kick them out!?" The townspeople argued. The Marines were silent as they had their heads down, while the people continued and began to throw insults at them.
Luffy shrugged and got up.
"Guess it's time to go. Thanks for the food." He said, bowing his head to Rika's mother.
"Yeah, thank you." said Aya.
"Hey, wait a second. You're leaving already?" asked Rika. Luffy nodded.
"Yeah." He said, lifting a bag of food the Rika's mother had prepared for the journey. He flinged it over his shoulder and started to walk out of the restaurant, with Aya following. Zoro followed after them with his katanas.
"And what about this guy? He with you too?" asked the Marine, pointing to Coby. Luffy stopped. He smirked.
"What I can tell you is what he's been doing up to this point," He said. Coby's eyes widen.
"Luffy...you wouldn't!" He thought.
"Yep. He used to be some fat lady's cabin boy for two years. He's such a dork and a complete loser. He's the weakest person I've ever-"
"Damn you!" yelled Coby as he punched Luffy. Everyone gasped while Zoro smirked. Luffy smirked and threw his fist back and began to punch Coby repeatedly. Zoro grabbed Luffy by his vest, stopping him. Coby collapsed on the floor.
"That's enough, Luffy. Just let him fall. Let's go." He said. Luffy smirked again and nodded, following after Zoro and Aya.
"Luffy...that was on purpose. He did it so it wouldn't look like I was a pirate. It's not fair! Again and again, I have always relied on Luffy for help! Well no more!" Thought Coby as he stood up. "Sir! I'd like to be a Marine! I'll do whatever you want me to do! Just allow me to join!" yelled Coby. The Marine soldier gave him a questionable look.
"You don't know how many of my men have died in the hands of pirates. However,...permission to join, granted." He said.
"Sir!" Coby yelled.
"That was some act you pulled back there. I wouldn't be surprised if they saw right through it, though." said Zoro as he, Luffy and Aya made their way to the docks.
"But, did you have to be so hard on him?" Aya laughed.
"Coby, could handle the rest himself. I have faith in him." Luffy said. Zoro shrugged his shoulders.
"Well, it's a real fitting way to leave this town with everyone hating us. Very pirate-like." He said. He, Luffy, and Aya climbed into the boat. Luffy giggled.
"Yeah." He said as he began to untie the boat.
"Luffy! Aya!" The two twins turned to see Coby, Rika, and her mother. Coby saluted. "Thank you! You have done more for me than anyone else in this world has." He said. Zoro smirked.
"That's new. I've never heard of a Marine thanking a pirate before. That's one for the history books." He said. Luffy grinned and the three started to sail off. From the boat, Luffy waved.
"Bye! Hope to see you all soon!" He called.
"Bye, Luffy," said Coby. Rika waved back as well.
"Bye, Big bro Luffy! Bye, Big sis Aya! Bye, Big brother, Zoro!" She shouted.
"SAALLLL-LLLUUTEEE!"
Coby turned to see the entire Marines from the base saluting to the pirates. "See ya!" called Luffy. The ship began to sail further and further away.
"You have good friends." said the Marine leader. Coby felt his eyes burn as tears began to appear. But, he wiped them away. No more. He was not going to be a wimp anymore! Coby smiled. "Yes. They are. And I know that somewhere, someday, somehow, we'll meet each other again. I can feel it."
Luffy smiled as the sun began to set. "Alright. The adventure's finally coming to a beginning." He said. Zoro nodded.
"Yeah, and we'll probably face more of them pretty soon." He said. Luffy giggled, agreeing.
"Got that right." He said. Then Zoro frowned as a thought came to his mind.
"Say is there any reason why you two want to be King and Queen of the Pirates?" He asked. Luffy turned to him. Zoro saw the seriousness in his eyes.
Luffy and Aya looked at each other then back towards Zoro. "We made a promise to someone a long time ago. That we would gather a crew and become King and Queen of the Pirates. And I, for one, always make sure to keep my promises." said Luffy. Zoro smiled softly. Luffy turned back to the sunset.
"Me too." Added Aya. "I want to leave my mark on the world before I die."
Zoro gave her a confused look. Then he saw Aya softly make a sad smile behind Luffy's back while her brother wasn't looking. He frowned in confusion wondering what she had meant by that.
"Ok. It's time to start the real fun. Let's head our course. To the Grand line!" Shouted Luffy as he stared over the horizon with excitement.
