Did anybody else find the preview for next week's episode to be a little strange? I feel like I can usually watch the preview and get a sense of whatever story beats are supposed to happen, but next week's preview felt like a random collection of clips. I wonder if there's some big lore drop things that they couldn't even put in without spoiling the episode. Who knows, but it's honestly making me more excited than the preview itself. Itself. It's what's missing that has me intrigued.

I just needed to tell you that I was recently listening to the song ‘uninvited’ by Alanis Morissette and it just sounds so perfect for the way you write these beautifully complex characters.

This made me so happy. I love this song and it’s haunted, ethereal vibe gets me every single time. I have to know if you listened to this because it’s on the AIV playlist?

you have no idea how much it pains me when the narration just says something like "regis was chatting with entreri" and then doesn't elaborate on what they are chatting about. i recognize that it isn't important to the story, but it is important to me.

they have so much history! did they ever unpack that? this is the man who kidnapped you and maimed you, and stalked and repeatedly tried (and once succeeded) to murder your friend. and now he's your ally, and he's proven himself trustworthy, and you're actually quite comfortable in his presence now,

Night Dream Episode 3!

I'm really loving this series so far. I'm a sucker for best friends to lovers, and if you throw in best friends reuniting after separation? 😍

I think that they managed to do this drunken make out session without ever properly kissing on the lips? Which if so, is impressive, and great for Dream's continued pining after Night <3

I also really loved the very beginning of this because I legit thought their mouths were touching and then Night moves to kiss his cheek 🤔 Or maybe their mouths did touch and i'm just way over thinking 😂

And I'm such a fan of the tender hand on the back of the neck

I think this is as close as they got to properly kissing on the mouth:

Before Namwan breaks up the party, and Dream just rolls Night off of him lmao

And then Night wakes up looking at Dream like this the next day, even though he (at least allegedly) doesn't remember anything. (look at that beaming face!)

And poor Dream tries to play it off. You were so drunk last night, bro. But Night asks what happened, and Dream ends up like 👀😳🫠

*turns away* "It's better that you can't remember" 😭💔

But the real question is, is Night conscious of his love of and desire for Dream? Half the time I think no, but the other half, I think yes. I mean, there was this whole exchange in the past, where Night was having their, isn't x beautiful; yes, you are, moment.

1. Three ships: Hades/Persephone (from Hadestown, just turned down this street and now I live here), Laris/Raffi (i said what i said, one day i will say more and perhaps the most by posting my Verity-era opus), and Jen/Judy (just been On My Mind lately)

2. First ship ever: I'm going to say probably Picard/Crusher? TNG was my first Fandom, and I have lots of badly written 12 year-old fanfiction about them squirreled in various notebooks at home. Maybe even the first ship I wrote fic for.

3. Last song: The Rose by Bette Midler bc the rendition Susan Egan and Deedee Magno Hall did at that cabaret haunts and soothes me.

4. Last movie: executive decision filmed theatre counts because last night i watched Helen McCrory's Medea filmed for National Theatre Live collection and oh my god. moved, shaken, stirred. i have 4 and 1/2 pages of notes on it.

5. Currently reading: Tolstoy's War and Peace. I always forget what a classics nerd I am when I'm away from them for a while. Love reading very much and have had quite a block between it and me the last couple years, which has been a big ol grief. Enjoying the gentle return the past few months have given me.

6. Currently watching: I finally curled up with season 2 of Russian Doll during quarantine last week and ow ow ow ow my Nadia, my heart.

7. Currently consuming: Little smiley-face fruit snacks my roommate brought home in between arduous homework assignments.

8. Currently craving: Connection and deep talks. Warmer weather and snuggles. Community, security, and stability within and without. Powers of bodily mutation/manipulation so I don't have to spend so much worry on summer surgery.
