you know it just occurred to me that this may not in fact, be a common experience, so im curious what the general stats are.

by "feel pain in dreams" i mean if an event happens in your dream that would induce pain, do you feel it as accurately and acutely as you would in real life?

#i had a dream last night that a circular saw flew into my leg and i bled out and died #and it felt incredibly real and i felt the pain after i woke up all the way until i got up to brush my teeth #i feel excruciating pain in dreams that lingers until i get up and get going such that like....#every 5th morning i wake up i think i developed with some insane bone condition overnight and will need to go to the dr #but nah #its just literal psychic damage

hhhhhghgg... jason grace thoughts... [my telekinetic powers make every wall in my house explode]

#jason grace #during the time after the titan war and before the events of the lost hero there was a that period of 3-4 months when leo and piper were #under the influence of the Mist and believed they were spending time with jason. right? yeah okay so #jason is still at camp jupiter but occasionally he has blackouts in which he is sort of present in the wilderness school with leo and piper #when he comes back he thinks theyre just like #weird dreams or whatever #but they feel real and he starts to remember specific moments and behaviors with the two strangers in his dreams #however #by the time jason wakes up on the bus. he obviously has no recollection of his life #or those weird blackouts that happened all the way up to his disappearance #back at camp jupiter. reyna would be there for jason when he blacked out and would bring him to somewhere safe and comfortable #for him to rest until he woke up #and sometimes jason would talk when he was unconscious #it was always indistinguishable but sometimes reyna swore she heard him say names #anyways im completely insane about jasom grace and i am forever attached to this kid

truly not sorry but once again thinking abt miranda/mc/mia in RL. i need them SO bad. like, 2 of the most morally unsound persons (Mia & Miranda) + their little meow meow. Knowing both are so possessive and destructive (TO OTHERS) when they love and instead of running, fully embracing the chaos of it. Loving them despite their delusions of grandeur, the crimes, the secrets, and the deaths (+ undeaths) caused (or ordered!) by their hands. Acknowledging this is fucked up but you can't help it. Lovingly bitching abt their fights but fully done and gone to do anything else but to soothe and continue loving them, because after all those years of waiting and doing and redoing everything to be perfect was worth it for this.

Feel like we haven’t talked about the existential horror of waking up in hell after death enough.

You wake up in a new body, with claws and fangs and even things like extra arms and only one eye, you’ve become a monster.

And while you’re coping with the fact that your body has been contorted and disfigured into something hellish and completely unrecognizable to you, you realize you don’t recognize fucking anything.

And you’re surrounded by demons. By imps and hellhounds and monstrous creature that fight and die and get drunk off their asses in broad daylight.

You’ve become a monster and you’re surrounded by monsters and you have absolutely no fucking clue where you are or what to do next and once you put the pieces together (you died, this must be hell) you realize that nobody, absolutely nobody, is going to help you.

Survival Horror Vash who i met in a dream

i had a dream last night where a group of people and i were trying to escape this weird and spooky abandoned facility that kept changing around us as we moved forward and partway through vash showed up and joined us. he was kinda weird, though. he looked a little different and he kept saying morbid things and acting like he knew us well and was always part of the group, and no one seemed to think that was suspicious except me.

at one point he found a couch and kept asking this guy to sit and have drinks with him, but the guy was convinced that if he did he'd get cursed and die.

the one time i interacted with him myself near the end of my dream (i think he was avoiding me) he was taking a knife to the bottom half of his coat, cutting it lengthwise and taking apart the layers. i asked him why he was doing that and he just said that he needed it [like that] and wouldn't elaborate and i couldn't investigate further bc i somehow found myself leading the group.

suspicious and inexplicable behaviour aside, i don't think he was ~secretly a bad guy~ or anything. just kinda weird and lonely and. maybe not entirely human. i do think he was genuinely trying to help us get out and maybe get himself out, too. but god he was kinda unnerving to be around.

had an odd dream that i was reading a comic book. sketched a couple of the pages i could remember.

#i might adapt this into an actual story because i am SO SO SO mad that it isn't a thing i can go back to reading #oc #im definitely keeping the concept of save-bot i fucking love save-bot he's just doing his best. i love a robot who wants to help people #im not equipped to be writing about underground rebellions with any sense of real tact though #besides its in a superhero universe/story so you know it would just be so sucks lol #sketch #god the colors were so interesting. the teal parts were all very precisely crosshatched and the fire was this gorgeous brush pen looking #colored inks that just seemed like they were MOVING #and i mean some of that was because i was dreaming but god even in my halfhearted copy you can see some of the movement #it was a bad scene but a really really REALLY fun dream. i love when a book can *get* to me so i was really enjoying it #put it aside so i could take a break and woke up. instant fury at the universe for not having it be a real book instead #ill reblog with details if anyone's curious. i can explain this scene but i dont feel like it #the green people are in a secret basement though. hiding from the government. blue jacket guy is a speedster robot named save-bot who does #rescue stuff with every fire department so fire suppression technology is not very good because save-bot "can just save you''#however they're badly over their legal occupancy and the secret basement has One (1) exit so everyone is like really fucked here.#includinig save-bot who is going to do his job until he dies because he is an ai without any sense of self preservation and he cares #which i didn't even CATCH until i woke up and started tryin to frantically note everything down #and then i was like wait. the glitter on that last page before i realized i needed a glass of water to keep reading... what WAS that...#(it was tears suspended in midair because save-bot goes so fast and also knows he's so fucked LOL)#seriously i'm so mad someone else didn't make this.

They came to me in a dream where I was a replica (of multiple people but looked most like Vidar) made by apprentice Nort/Xemnas, who was the fifteenth member of the organisation and also had my knowledge of hit video games Kingdom Hearts and kept getting randomly thrown through space and time.

#khocweek2024 #kh oc #kh ocs #kingdom hearts oc #kingdom hearts original character #Arxeht #blue boi draws #kingdom hearts #kh #Arxeht my beloved I love them #Apprentice Nort started making them to help figure out memories and based them on people he’d get glimpses of in dreams #but he got distracted and only came back and finished them/woke them up around the beginning of Days after Xion #meaning they are theoretically younger then Xion and Roxas but with the way they act and view the others they’re older #they woke up sorta all at once unlike Roxas and Xion. they also have basic knowledge about General Like that the kiddos lack #also their knowledge of how the game plays out is from the perspective of someone who played the games.#like they’d know the ‘press triangle for Sora’ meme and the differences between CoM and ReCoM and refer to time periods by their game name #also VERY AWARE that most kh games are tragedies and desperately trying to change that despite not really having the power to do so #Arxeht is shit at fighting but is saved from getting injured by any time they’re about to get hit it triggers a jump through time/space #and the jumps can be really far and in fast succession. they start a jump in twilight town and are thrown through Daybreak Town #and like two other worlds until they settle and fef a chance to breathe. its handy because they wont die but jumps can happen #in the middle of a conversation or while they’re trying to get somewhere in particular and then suddenly they’re ten years in the past #in a whole different world. it sucks.#can you tell the dream they came from was a stress dream? 90% of what I remember from it was running around trying to get to Xion and Roxas #and keep them safe. the other 10% was the org not knowing what to think of Arx and Xemnas being weird #Arxeht is heart + x in a reflection of Xehanort being no heart + x btw. that did not come from the dream I made it awake #Xemnas was weird he had a very distant vaguely amused view on everything Arxeht was doing I don’t think he ever thought of them as a threat #unlike Xigbar who was concerned which is fair because Arxeht knew he was Luxu and about MoM and stuff #the time jumps can get really long as well but tend to avoid kh era?? days onwards and bbs and before is fair game but they dont actually #meet Sora until kh2.#their main power is information. they know who people are and what’s going on and they are constantly trying to tell people during the

For any horror fans out there that haven't read it yet: The Twisted Ones by T. Kingfisher is SO GOOD. I don't remember ever being so scared by a book

#the hollow places is also very good but it made me feel more like... fascinated than scared #the twisted ones actually has me like... i cant read it alone at night bc i get too spooked lol. i have to read it in bed next to my gf #and then i STILL get spooked. i spent all of last night in between dreams Scared Of Monsters Getting Me #until i woke up this morning and realized wait a second... that was in the book not real life #i am. so pleased by this. it is SO hard for me to find content that actually scares me anymore #and i love the authors voice too. the characters in each book have their own unique voices and both books have way different vibes #but even with that theres still some sort of just... essence that the author brings thats very present in both books and i really enjoy it #would definitely recommend both of them and i will DEFINITELY be checking out more of her books #rambling #edit: im looking at a list of her other books and two of them have a nonbinary mc?? hell yeah!!!#ive never seen a nonbinary person just casually represented in a non-lgbt focused novel. #my stuff #i had a um i had a really hot dream #about getting hypnotized by the lights and displays at a ST concert #like the whole world dropped away so it was just vessel and these patterns of flashing lights behind him #and they started to move and shift until i realized they were bioluminescent organs on a huge mass of tendrils closing around me #and all of a sudden the space compressed and it was just me Right In Front Of Vessel and he gently covered my eyes (hot) and said i was #said i was doing exactly what i should be #and i felt tentacles and soft scales twisting through my fingers and around my throat and between my thighs #pulling us closer but also trapping me and #and um how do i put this #i woke up and my ass felt used😳#like hurt and kept me awake and made me lie in the sluttiest posture to make it relax #so um. hi handsome😳🥺🥰#anyways everyone point and laugh and kill me with axes and knives it’s fine

#messages from knave #i keep having these ongoing dreams about an alternate reality version of my life #mainly about my parents #like right after i lost my job i had a dream that they'd moved to another state on a whim #and just told me to either upend my entire life to move to florida with them or figure it out #and i ended up moving into a much shittier apartment before realizing 'wait i have a whole house' and moving back into my own house in NJ #and then last night i dreamed I'd visited them and spent a day with my nephews then we all went to a wrestling match #and then after almost being run over by my dad cause he started driving while i was getting into the car #we go back to their house and i take a fat nap only to wake up in the dream and discover that I've disturbed this thumbelina sized toddler #that my mom jad apparentky adopted and then completely forgot about. and we wtruggled to getbit comfortable again on its little ved #then it escaped as toddlers do and i went through a comedy of errors trying to find it only to find it seemingly plastic and lifeless #only for it to start going through rapid metamorphosis into an adult and running around my parents house #my dad and i tried to stop it from growing up becuase every transformation opened up a new pocket dimension or something #then the dream changed into something else as my brain slowly booted back up from a migraine back into reality and i woke up #but the visage of a polly pocket sized toddler being left behind in my adult sized bed really shook me for some reason #it was so small and it was on a teeny pink pillow and it had a little purple teddy it kept dropping #but now I'm thinking of the logitstics of actually raising a child you could step on and squash by accident #that must be nerve wracking like how did thumbelina make it to adulthood without being confibed to a single room or even a single table #cause my first instinct is to build a diarama on a table for them and never let them leave until they're old enough to dodge

i was already having insane sleep before The Medication so i cant tell if the insane sleep is a side effect or just a continuation of that. But i am having insaner sleep
