Anonymous request: I love your writing so much I was wondering where you can do a crossover of the vampire diaries and The Marauders the reader is a Marauder and she likes James but he likes Lily she overhears that James would never like her so she goes out to cry and but then she meets Damon Salvatore who comes out from a Time Machine weeks later he takes her to his world since he has fallen in love with her so he tells to leave everything and go with him

“Since Lily doesn't like you, why not go for Y/n? who is also attractive.” Sirius smiles

“Y/n’s beauty is something I agree on, but I only view her as a friend and it would never happen.” James tells him “Because I love Lily.”

Wiping off your tears, you walked away quietly to avoid hearing James rejecting you anymore.

“But Y/n and you make a cute couple.” Remus tells him

“But I only want Lily, can't you guys not understand that?” James crossed his arms angrily

"And why can't you not understand that Lily doesn't like you back.” Sirius fumed “you're missing on a really nice girl like Y/n. I hope you don't regret it when she finds somebody else better than you.”

When you got outside, you started to cry again as you kicked the ground. "Why did I believe that he would like me back? I'm so stupid!! Of course he likes Lily.”

While you cried furiously, you didn't notice a machine falling on the ground and a person coming out of it.

As you stood up, someone asked from behind you, “where am I?” and scared the living hell out of you.

As you attempted to calm yourself down after getting scared by this weird guy with weird questions, you asked “who are you?”

“I apologize for scaring you, I didn't intend to do so. My name is Damon Salvatore.” He smiled as he kissed your hand.

You couldn't help but blush at this cute weirdo guy “My name is Y/n Y/l/n, but why did you ask weird questions?”

He smiles, again “Your name is beautiful just like you. I can't believe it’s my lucky day. I just met the most beautiful girl in the world.”

You smiled at this guy who was not only weird but he’s charming and cute. “Haha thank you but you didn’t answer my question.”

“Beautiful it’s hard to explain, and you’ll laugh at me after I finish telling you.” He tells you

“Why is it hard? You can tell me I promise that I won’t laugh.” You tell him back smiling

He looks at you with a sad look “you will laugh at me and I don’t want to scare you away because you will once I tell you and I know we don’t know each other but I already like you.”

You giggle, "You already like me? How is that possible? If I'm a boring person and it's ok, you don't have to tell me anything if you don't want to.”

He laughs, "you’re not a boring person. Your amazingness makes everything possible, and I'll reveal my secret to you at a later time.”

"Y/n there you are!!!,We were so worried about you." James glares at Damon, “Why are you conversing with this dumb ass stranger?”

Damon growls, "I don't think it's any of your business unless you're her boyfriend even if you are, you don't have a right to talk to her like that and I have a name boy.”

“He's not my boyfriend, he's just a friend.” You tell Damon with a smile

James looked at you shocked that you would say that "first Y/n don’t tell strangers about our lives and second of all, I don't need to know your name Mr.”

“James stop it and leave them alone. They were just talking and we rudely interrupted them.” Sirius tells him

James glares at his best friend then he looks over at you "while you were too busy talking to this idiot we were worried thinking that something bad happened to you since you didn't come to the Common room like you were supposed to.”

Damon fumed as he walked past you “Call me something else again and I'll have your ass on the ground.”

"Sirius and Remus take James away before something happens." you tell them as they nodded trying to take him away but James kept pushing them away “the fuck you’re not staying with him if we’re leave your coming with us.”

You give Damon a somber smile. “I have to go with them to avoid trouble because James shouts, but I'm hoping to see you tomorrow.”

He shakes his head, "He should get in trouble not you or your friends but I'm hoping to see you tomorrow as well princess and have a good night.”

You nodded with a smile “thank you and I hope you have a wonderful night as well.”

While walking with them, you rolled your eyes as James shouted at you and asked questions about Damon.”

"Stop rolling your eyes and answer me. Who the fuck is he?” He demands getting in your face

“I will slap you if you keep yelling and swearing at me, and you cannot demand to know his identity.” You told him before leaving

“Y/n,Get back here now!!. We're not done talking yet!!” James yelled out for you, but you flipped him off and kept walking.

James exclaims with frustration, “can you believe her?”

Remus shrugs his shoulders "Well you did go over the line.”

“I was just trying to protect her. I can't do that now?” James questions angrily “He could have done something to hurt her.”

“Yelling and swearing at her is not a way to protect her. It's pushing her away instead.” Sirius explains “and after what you did, I don’t think she’ll want you near or around her.”

“Given what you did, I agree with Sirius that she probably won't want to be near or around you.” Remus adds “Probably not even with us as well.”

With a smile, Lily says, “Y/n, I was looking for you.” The smile she had turned to a frown. "What's the matter?"

"Ask your boyfriend." Anger poured out of you as you walked past her.

Lily asks in a confused manner, "My boyfriend?"

James asks Lily with anger, "Have you seen Y/n?"

"She went in that direction,” Lily points out. "What happened?"

James sighs and thanked Lily before heading in the direction he was instructed to go.

She observes his departure and is irritated because no one is explaining the situation. “Could someone please give me an explanation?”

“James got mad because he saw Y/n and an unknown man talking.” Sirius explains “You know how he is overprotective of her.”

“Sirius, that also sounds like he got jealous.” She tells him with smile

“James doesn’t like her, he likes you”. Remus tells her

“But I don’t see him like that because I really like somebody else.” She confesses

“Is it Snape?” Sirius tease her with a smirk

“Maybe”. She blushes as she shrugs her shoulders “but I do hope that one day, Y/n and James end up together.”

“Y/n we didn’t finish talking.” James grabs your arm

James' hand is removed from your arm by you. “We have concluded.”

“I was just trying to protect you from him who could have hurt you, can't you see?” He fumed

You rolled your eyes, “You need to worry about Lily instead of me.”

“You are the focus, not Lily.” He huffed

“The conversation we had is irrelevant to me now, it's concluded.” You walked off.

Damon comes out of the machine with a smile as everyone asks him questions “I just saw and met the most beautiful woman in the world.”

"Brother, what are you talking about?" Stefan looks at him with confusion

With a grin on his face, Damon gazes upon his brother, “Y/n Y/L/N is the most stunning woman I have ever met."

Elena laughs, “Babe, I'm speculating that your brother came across a stunning woman when he went to another world.”

Stefan laughs too "I think you're right because right now he's being stupid and not listening.”

“what should we do?” Caroline asks

“I think let’s leave him alone for a second and he’ll probably tell us later.” Elena replied

Caroline rolled her eyes "why later? I want to know about the mystery woman that got the demon in love? Oops, I meant Damon.”

Caroline crosses her arm in frustration "We all know that, but we want to know who she is.”

He looked at you with hope but scared at the same time “promise me you won't get scared or try to run once I take you to my city and tell you what I am.”

You give him a confused stare, “I don’t promise anything but okay.”

Damon grabs your hand and leads you to a machine as you look around the machine “you made this cool time machine?”

He laughs as he closes the door and he sits next to you “I wish but actually it was Bonnie my friend, that made this.”

You looked at him with a smiled as you noticed that you and Damon came to a stop and the two of you got out

You were taken aback by the beauty of this city and looked around in shock. “Where are we?”

He smiles at you, "Mystic Fall."

You stare at him in shock. "Mystic Fall?, as they claim, is the location of the supernatural."

He nods and lowers his head. "Indeed, and I am among them."

“What kind of supernatural are you?”

“Vampire.” He says “ I understand if you’re scared, if you want I’ll take you home so you don’t go by yourself.”

You moved closer to him and grabbed his face with a smile. “I’m alright; I'm not terrified or anything.”

With a grin on his face, he grabbed your hands and kissed them. “Okay then, my Princess, let's go meet some individuals.”

"Have you seen Yn? I haven't seen her all day.” James says

“It's probable that she's with Lily or something. End your overprotectiveness. It's both adorable and annoying.” Sirius tells him

"Oh Y/n? She was with the same guy that we saw her with last night and they were having a conversation.”Peter butts in with a smirk

”You gotta be kidding me.”James growls. She didn't listen. She's going to hear from me when she gets back.”

Sirius glares at Peter who stopped smirking then he looks over at James, "Prongs you can't tell Y/n what to do, she's allowed to talk or to hang out with whoever she wants.”

“There's an aspect of that guy that makes me apprehensive about Y/n being around him.” James tells them “But I'll figure it out soon or later, but I will.”

After he laid you on his bed so that you could sleep more comfortably, Damon went back to ask his friends and brother how they felt about you. “So what do you think of Y/n?”

“She's incredible, with a great heart and personality, and she's the perfect match for you, my brother.” Stefan replies. 

“I agree with Stefan that you have never been so happy for a woman before. Since she makes you happy, we support your decision of you and her dating.”

Damon chuckles, "I was going to date her regardless of your approval, but thank you.”

“When do you plan on asking her to leave everything behind and join you in this world?” Caroline asked.

“When she wakes up.” Damon replies

The aroma of pancakes and toast greeted you as you woke up and went to the kitchen to see the Damon flipping the pancakes and he noticed you and gave you a smile

 “Good morning princess, please take a seat and I'll bring you a plate.” Damon tells you

You smile as you sit down. “Thank you and good morning to you too.”

Daman placed your plate next to you as he sat down. "I was wondering if we could talk later?"

You give a nod as you begin cutting your pancakes and eating it “it’s so delicious thank you.”

WIP Snip

thank you so much @ghostofnoir for tagging me to drop a WIP snip!! a couple of weeks ago i'd've probably said i don't have a WIP on the go, but i'm slooowly starting to accept that i'm probably going to attempt to finish another chaptered fic 😭 atm i'm in the stage of refusing to write anything at all bc i want to "feel ready" (haha) but as it happens i do already have 30k of it sitting there waiting to be whipped (WIP'd) into shape the plot tl;dr: harry sneaks into a nightclub under polyjuice and accidentally makes friends with the slytherins, who don't know who he is. this is a lil chunk from (probably) chapter 4 – a bit from chapter 2 was previously posted here!

“Draco,” he says, “come and dance with me.”

Malfoy glances at Nott, who frowns at Harry. Harry knows he should feel bad for interrupting them, but the alcohol and Polyjuice in his system make him feel like himself again, like he can be impulsive, like he should be—so he keeps his gaze on Malfoy, keeps his hand extended in invitation.

“Oh, all right,” Malfoy says, shrugging—but Harry is watching him so closely that he doesn’t miss the way Malfoy looks at him through his eyelashes with a small, pleased smile teasing the corner of his mouth.

The shots, the anonymity, the thrill of being in Phoenix—it all bolsters Harry, makes him feel confident, makes him feel free. Once they’re in the middle of the crowd, music thumping around them, through them, Harry pulls Malfoy close and murmurs in his ear that he’s sexy when he dances.

Malfoy snorts and tosses his head. “I’d return the compliment, but I have no idea what you actually look like.”

Harry hesitates. The powerful feeling inside him falters. “Sorry,” he says—almost a question.

Malfoy shrugs. “I don’t care what you look like, as it happens,” he says, though his voice is a bit too casual. “You have a hot personality.”

Harry covers the swooping in his stomach with a laugh. “A hot personality?”

“That’s what I said. Now, come on. Dance with me, if you think I’m so sexy.”

Harry dances with him. There’s no hesitation when they touch each other now—just lingering eye contact, hands finding shoulders, waist, hips. Harry presses closer automatically. Malfoy tips his head back and moves to the music.

George wears the merch as a joke. 

It's funny.

Daniel is sure because the media runs with it; the fans think it's cute and cheeky. Everyone knows Russell has a girlfriend; a petite omega girl with no tattoos or scruffy beard. A young girl, George's age, nice and pretty that wears dresses and doesn't race for a living. Just like most of the alphas on the grid have at home, patiently waiting for them back in Monaco or cheering from their garages.

Still, it feels nice. 

Thanks to it Daniel gets a break from the Piastri questions and the contract talks. He can gush and joke around for a bit, let people compliment him on the merch, say good things about him for a change. 

It's mostly nice until it's not. 

"Mercedes really did a number on George, mate. Such a clown this season." 

Daniel hears it going through the garage, and then catches the laughing that comes afterwards, the smell of alphas gathering around, their familiar voices and musk. 

He feels stupid. 

The warm fuzzy feeling long gone. It's replaced by the anguish of having to recall the looks he had gotten all morning, going through them in his mind to find any trace of mockery or pity. Trying to find the missing pieces of how he got it all wrong. 

"What happened?" 

It takes him a second to realize Max is talking to him. Nowadays, Daniel feels like he's far away from him, he won't admit it, not even to Michael, but it's like Daniel is a rookie all over again.

He's not winning, he's no longer a secured driver with an uper hand to fuck around with. He's still Daniel Ricciardo, but that's pretty much it. And apparently, no longer enough. 

"Daniel," Max repeats in that croaky voice he makes when he's frustrated. "What happened?" 

He's frowning; the driver's meeting is media free and Daniel's so thankful. If Max caught something just by looking at him, it must be written all over his face. Max doesn't really look at Daniel anymore, doesn't have a real reason to.

"Nothing," Daniel brushes him off, taking off his cap to fix his hair and putting it on again, trying his best not to look at Max in the eye.

Max smells weird, and Daniel's nose gets itchy from it. It's so strong and deep that it gets kind of overwhelming for a second. Daniel takes a deep breath to get his shit together, but it only makes it worse, getting Max's frustration on his tongue and mouth, tasting the bitterness of it.

Max isn't wearing any blockers, which is not new, but still annoying. Daniel's been alone for a while, maybe too long. He knows his body and can feel himself react to Max's worry, a deep instinct growing inside him from the old memories his body holds tight. He's been working on letting those go. The most difficult part comes when he's by himself during the breaks; toys not good enough, not big enough, when he's too desperate and lonely he just wants to reach for his phone and say sorry for something he doesn't have to. When his body craves the press of Max's knot and the smell of his cum on Daniel's skin.

He needs to get away from Max before he makes a fool of himself again. 

Daniel cranes his neck in search of an escape boat but Lando is on the other side of the room, happily sandwiched between two red-dressed bodies; there's not really anywhere to hide, and it's obvious that Max just won't let him go. 

"All good, guys?" George asks, gently nudging Daniel's shoulder as he smiles at him, creeping from nowhere to fill the space between Max and Daniel.

He's saved by the bell.

George looks unaware of Max's corrosive frustration, unfazed as he massages Daniel's shoulder muscle with his thumb and gives him a friendly huff right over his ear. 

"Yeah, all good, mate," Daniel says, right over the edge, a chukle full of gratitude and relief.

George's hand is warm and firm over him. He smells like the fancy alpha cologne that Lewis wears. It's some kind of expensive costume-made scented blockers that the Mercedes's alphas get from Tommy H. It's posh and flashy but Daniel has good memories of it, of Lewis winning Championship ship after Championship as Daniel grew into his own confident self. Nostalgia maybe, but Daniel can't stop himself  from getting a hungry whiff of it. 

Max makes a noise that gets Daniel to snap back from the cloud of Russell's fake pheromones. Max's gaze burns through Daniel's skin and he tries his hardest to subtlety step away from the touch, his inner omega deeply worried of causing any confrontation.

They haven't been together for almost two years, Daniel says in his head, catching himself mid step, he doesn't own Max shit.

When Daniel left Renault and Max finally grew out of his puppy body, he had wanted to officially mate with Daniel.

He was no longer a young alpha boy, and he had grown needs that Daniel wasn't ready to fill yet. They never really broke up, because they weren't a couple to begin with. But after turning Max down and refusing to tie himself to the alpha with a mark on his neck for the whole world to see, Max left Monaco and spent his winter break in Ibiza. 

It's a small world, and Monaco is even a smaller country.

The message was pretty clear, and from hundred of miles away Daniel called his manager and they sold his old and unused aparment for a bigger one away from the sea. Away from Max.

They didn't call each other, Max didn't send flowers for Daniel's sister birthday. Daniel didn't bought Max's cats silly costumes that they wouldn't really wear but still made Max laugh when Daniel showed him.

Then Max started fucking omega after omega for all F1 to know. 

So that was the end of it. 

When Daniel looks up, he's faced with Max's blue eyes glaring at George's hold on him and the tight line of his mouth.

George messes with Daniel's hat making it point sideways and chuckling after Daniel blushes when George fixes it back, rubbing the corner of it and whispering a soft, "Cute."

It's the sour and putrid smell of rage what gets Daniel's attention back on Max.

They are buffing, Daniel suddenly realizes. There's no way George can't smell it too, even the most uneducated beta could recognize the way Max's nostrils flare when George's hand squeezes Daniel's shoulder again. But Daniel doesn't have it in him to move anymore, it's almost too fucking much, he'll probably drop to his knees if one of them asks him to. 

His stomach revolts with anger. George is fucking with him just to try and make Max snap. It's so stupid and childish; two cocky alphas puffing their chests in front of an unmated omega, fighting to see who'll give up first. 

"You can sit with me then, don't think Lewis will mind," George offers, voice so sweet and friendly you'll forget he drives a Mercedes. 

They are just kids, Daniel says to himself. Looking for the bright side to dim his own anger. They are stupid young alphas, this is the shit they do. 

It's still a hard pill to swallow, even after so many years in the paddock it burns the same; to just have to play the game like a good omega should while they compete on who's knot is bigger right in front of Daniel. Using him like a shiny prize on a stand.

Before Daniel can get his head straight and find a way to end it gracefully, he hears Max growl. 

"Fuck off," Max snarls, yanking George's hand off Daniel's shoulder, pushing him away with a hard shove that George doesn't expect and almost causes him to trip over an empty chair. "I'm talking to Daniel, are you fucking blind or—" 

"You fuck off, idiot." George growls back, standing in front of Daniel again to block Max's hand with his body. The roaring coming out of Max's chest is so loud that Daniel has to get both of his hands over his ears to not whine.

"Hey!" Someone calls, followed by a distressed whine that Daniel is almost completely sure didn't come from him. "Don't do this shit here, have some fucking respect for the omegas." 

Daniel opens his eyes slowly to find Alonso holding both alphas by their shirts, shaking them like two reprimanded dogs. George raises both hands in surrender, and Fernando let's him go, George frowns as he starts to brush off over the creases Alonso left on his polo shirt.

"He's the one being an asshole. I was talking with Daniel and he started growling at me like an idiot."  He complains, moving away from the confrontation.

"Fuck you," Max yells, not caring about Alonso's firm grip that tugs him back each time he tries to step closer to George, both of his hands a pair of tight fits and looking like a maniac. "I've told you a million times to get the fuck away from my—" 

Daniel almost drops to his fucking knees.

"Verstappen." Alonso cuts him off, pushing Max hard against the wall. "Get your shit under control, kid. You're making a fool out of yourself." 

Daniel feels like he's burning alive, hears a ring on both of his ears going off, the room starts getting smaller and smaller.

He hears a loud noise and then the flash of Lando's body being dragged out by Carlos’s possessive hold. George holds the door open for them and walks to the end of the room to stand next to Lewis, who gives him a stern look.

"Max" Alonso says again, struggling to keep Max against the wall as Max tries his hardest to push Fernando away to get his hands on George. "Max, calm the fuck down." Alonso grunts, his whole body covering Max's as he grips his wrists and snarls at him in annoyance. "What the fuck is wrong with you? Dejad de hacer el puto ridículo, tío. Joder." 

The FIA people won't take long to get here, and if they do then the whole paddock will know all about this by noon. Most of the guys keep their distance, but Max fights Alonso's hold and he almost slips away, it sets off the rest of the alphas in the room and they stand up from the seats, no longer faking to not notice what's going on. Sebastian and Pierre go to Alonso's rescue, and after some minor struggling, they have Max pinned down on the floor.  

"Daniel, I think you should go." Lewis says.

They are all looking at him. 

"No." Max whines, head raising as he gives Daniel a desperate look. "Daniel." He calls for him, making Daniel's knees go weak. He takes a step closer, wanting to give Max whatever he wants. Ready to do anything for him. 

"Daniel, leave now." Lewis orders him this time, raising his voice and pointing at the door.

Max growls something harsh in Dutch and somehow manages to push half his body up before quickly getting ganged up by George and Lewis, firmly held still.

His face is plastered against the floor, and his nostrils flare as he huffs and curses them all out, calling for Daniel again and again and making Daniel's omega instincts go off. 

"Call fucking Horner," Alonso yells to a very scared Yuki hiding in a corner. 

Max's smells so frustrated and worried at the same time that Daniel just wants to hold him for a bit, tell them to get the fuck off him and just let Max breath for a second.

His body practically moves on his own as he tries to reach for Max's hair, and the sound that comes out of Max's mouth when he sees Daniel approach makes the hard slap he gets worth it.

Charles shoves him hard and pushes him towards the door, his wild eyes looking at Daniel like he's gone crazy.

"Get Red Bull right fuckin now!," Alonso shouts desperate as Max growls, a ripping sound fills the room followed by Pierre's hurt grunt and a loud gasp of fear. "this fucking kid is going into rut!."

TLDR: SRB Zoom Chat

In case you missed it, Sarah did a webinar on Zoom a couple weeks ago hosted by The Sunday Morning Transport to answer questions about Tears Waiting to be Diamonds. You can get a 60-day free subscription to access both the story and the Zoom over on Sarah’s tumblr, but for those who are unable to access for any reason, I received a request to provide a little recap, so here goes! Tried to make it somewhat organized but also it is going to be a little chaotic haha. 

New IOL Deets

The scene of Luke and Elliot getting together and confessing their feelings was almost only ONE SENTENCE LONG. Many thanks on behalf of the fandom to the anonymous critique partner of Sarah’s who told her that absolutely wouldn’t fly.

Elliot and Luke Post-IOL

Sarah says that Elliot doesn’t go over the border much, even though he is able to. Luke is afraid of Elliot going somewhere where he can’t follow, and even though Elliot doesn’t even think of it as a possibility, he tries to be respectful of it.

Pet names: Elliot sometimes will take classics and make them weird (like he does at the end of IOL). Luke will occasionally embarrassedly call Elliot “darling”.

Luke has fairly regular contact with the harpies. Elliot tends to spearhead their contact in terms of keeping up correspondence - he knows relatives even Luke doesn’t, and they often attend harpy festivals. According to Sarah, it’s a classic case of the in-law being the favorite kid. She jokes that he could have just gone to the harpies and lived with them when he was exiled, and they would have gladly taken him in.

WHY SARAH

TWTBD Parts 1 & 2 were initially meant to be published on consecutive Sundays. SARAH SUGGESTED THAT THERE BE A LONGER WAIT IN BETWEEN.

Why Elliot do that?

Even though Elliot has made some progress with his insecurities, he still thinks that Luke doesn’t truly know the worst that he can do, and just puts up with him. Over the years, they have worked through smaller issues, so he’s learned that he can be forgiven for these things (while before that he considered himself completely unloveable). Once he’s committed treason, he thinks that is the worst possible thing, something completely antithetical to Luke’s value system as a soldier, so he considers it inevitable that their relationship is over.

Sarah likened it to “the mortifying ordeal of being known” –  Elliot never holds himself back from being completely known, because then he can be loved for who he is. But Elliot doesn’t think that Luke knows the worst he can be (even though Luke obviously does and accepts him for it).

Luke’s Letters

Luke starts with angry letters, then more worried, then back and forth between the two. Some of the letters Luke sends to Elliot are well thought out and composed (probably because Serene helped him), while others are basically drunk late night texts that he has to admit to Serene later with shame (side note from me: anyone wanna write the fic that comprises all his letters? or am I gonna have to do that myself). 

Luke doesn’t even consider them broken up in the first place and was entirely unsurprised to hear what Elliot had done when he returned, while Elliot dramatically thinks they’ve been broken up for months. He doesn’t want to hurt himself by looking at the letters when he thinks he knows that they will say.

The meantime:

It had been a month since Elliot was exiled by the time Luke and Serene returned from war. By the time Luke arrives it has been almost four months. A lot of that time was spent figuring out what thad happened, possibly variously threatening people who had been planning on executing Elliot.

“A lot of Elliot’s diplomacy relies on the fact that there are people who will enact violence for him”

Peace is not a stable thing, and there isn’t an easy answer for it. As they get older, it becomes more difficult, since adults are held more accountable for their actions than children.

Serene and Luke actually were trying to figure out the diplomatic way to solve the situation: i.e., sending letters to form a plan once communication was initiated.  After getting no response, they tried to get him pardoned, which was difficult considering someone apparently has a transcript of a long speech Elliot gave that essentially said “I did it and I’m not sorry”. 

Luke and Serene would sometimes spontaneously decide they were going to go find him alone, and the other would talk them down from it, or they’d decide to go together, and Golden would convince them to wait.

Where’s Serene?

The story was unfortunately too long to include Serene, or even the few references to her that were initially included (such as Mark mentioning a rumor of the Sunborn Champion being involved with her).

Logistically Sarah couldn’t get Serene to the battle, since Luke would have flown to get to Elliot as fast as possible. She says that Serene definitely arrives within the day.

What happens after TWTBD?

Luke and Elliot have to have several conversations, starting with a yelling conversation, a tender conversation, and then the normal combination of yelling/tender/insults. 

“If Elliot says loser, Luke knows that he’s okay and so pretty much the first words that Elliot said to Luke in the battlefield were reassuring because when he says loser, he means I still love you, which is what Luke was getting worried about.”

Elliot puts himself in tall towers and high places specifically so Luke can find him.

Sarah specifically quotes “This Ain’t a Love Song” by scouting for girls: “I know I’m lost, but I’m waiting to be found”.

More IOL

Sarah has said this before, but just in case anyone has missed it: she definitely has ideas of what happens to the characters in the future. She has said she has a strong story idea which would also need another novel in between to explain the middle events – so essentially a trilogy. TWTBD would take place in between these second and third books – the second would explain the events up to TWTBD, and the third would continue on from there. To be clear, Sarah has not confirmed whether this is actually in the works yet, or whether these would take full-length novel form or short story form.

On Trans and Nonbinary Individuals in IOL (specifically in elven culture):

Sarah says there would be some more freedoms for nonbinary/trans elves or dwarves than in human culture, but they would be restricted in other ways.

Sarah acknowledges that the IOL universe has been represented in a more binary way thus far; she plans to delve more into gender beyond the binary in the future after taking time to get the details and complexity right.

Long Live Evil Information

Sarah’s new upcoming novel! The protagonist is thrown into her favorite fantasy novel, but is unexpectedly classified as an evil sorceress and cast out with the rest of the villains. From how Sarah talks about it, the novel delves into villainy in fiction and what truly makes a villain. It also explores the joy of finding magic even if you think you’ve reached the stage of your life where you’re past it. (I AM SO EXCITED)

Spending the day inside with taerae after a long day celebrating his debut makes you realise how much you love him and how hard would it be for you to not have him in your life.

As the morning person you were, it was around 11 a.m almost and you were still sound asleep. The they before you and taerae had been out all day celebrating him getting 6th place on boys planet, so you were both exhausted from moving around a lot actually.

Shuffling on your bed made you a little bit more conscious, however you wanted to keep sleeping so you tried to for a couple of minutes until you started opening your eyes only to find your boyfriend staring at you with a sweet smile adorning his face.

"Morning sleepyhead"he said ruffling your hair softly as he was using his elbow as a support.

"Good morning"you told him hiding behind your blanket.

He laughed at your behaviour.

"How long have you been watching me?"you asked embarrassed.

"Don't know, I lost count"he said neutrally waiting for you to go out of your little fort.

"Ahhh, seriously, why are you like this???"you whined taking your blanket off you.

He ignored your question and grabbed your hand starting to pull you out of bed to stand up.

"C'mon we can't stay here forever, it's late"

You wanted to stay on bed but figured fighting wouldn't lead you anywhere so you just let him drag you to the kitchen in order to make breakfast.

As you made your way there you both thought of what you could have to eat. Yes at 11a.m, but you both were hungry so who are we to judge?

You finally decided to have something simple as pancakes..., yeah that was the idea because let's say it wasn't going that well.

"What are you doing taerae?"you shouted panick taking over you.

"Aren't you supposed to pour mik now?"

"Yes, but not that much!"😫😫😫

Yeah, so the pancakes didn't turn out that good but well, at least you were having fun together?

After that, you washed the dishes and took a shower because all the goofing around while cooking kinda made you both dirty due to all the flour flying around lol.

Right after that you guys started cleaning the apartment with background music which kinda was a mistake as well 💀💀💀 (you can't do shit without causing chaos, I think junhyeon has infected you lmao).

So instead of finishing everything in a short spam of time you took more time than you had plan and ended your work half an hour later that you had intended to.

Then tarae got the idea of interpreting you hot summer, but an acapella version of it with his guitar as you had requested him to sing days before the song, what can you say you wanted a little spoiler before the finale 🤭

He gathered all he needed and positioned himself to sing in a comfortable place.

As he started singing you were literally hypnotised by taerae's voice (who wouldn't actually), it was true that you had heard it before on the programme but hearing him in person was much better, he knew how to perfectly highlight his skills and you loved how he was able to just draw you in.

After he finished you clapped enthusiastically expressing your love for him and his vocals.

"You are so good taerae, you suit the concept a lot"you complimented him.

"Haha thank you"he said flashing you one of his characteristic smiles.

As you stared at him, you started to realise how lucky you were to have someone like him in your life, he was one the one you always seeked for his face in a crowd when you were meeting for a date, how your whole face and spirit lighted up when you felt his presence or even the heartache you had when you both needed to part ways was enough for you to understand that you wanted to keep him in your life forever.

"What are you thinking there?"he asked curiously as he saw you smiling unconsciously at him, looking directly into his eyes.

"Just how lucky and greatful I am to be your girlfriend" you answered, the smile not leaving your face.

In that precise moment he really felt how time stopped right there and you were the only thing that mattered to him.

You managed to make him so shy he couldn't even look at you back. You simply smiled wider and got closer to him.

"What?I really am"

He trapped you in his arms hugging you tightly and not intending to let go.

"I am more lucky, believe me"

And just like that you spended the rest of the day just being all lovey dovey and clingy 😙

But first I want to mention that I’m super happy with how much you liked it. We had a completely shit-posting discussion about everything that’s going on in this comic after another piss-related comic we posted some time ago, so it’s kind of a sequel to that. I honestly thought that we wouldn’t do anything with it, because we, as always, have too much other stuff to draw, but we were having a really bad day and making a stupid comic felt like the only thing that was meant to happen that day (and I was emotionally incapable of drawing anything good).

We love making stupid stuff. And it’s always fun when other people find it funny lol

Ortho really told Idia’s bottle-pissing secret to the worst people possible, the entire school knew about it after just 2 minutes lol Normally they would keep a secret to use it as blackmail, but the Tweels found it way too hilarious, and Azul found it way too scandalous to ignore…

Jade and Floyd really are kind of chaotic because of their oceanic background, but Azul really tries to be a proper good land-boy!

I want to make a joke about Savanaclaw boys having interesting habits in general, but I’ll stop myself.

To answer your question, Kalim, surprisingly, uses the toilet. He doesn’t think twice about these things, this is just what he is used to! He is also a little bit squeamish sometimes at very random moments.

But then again, he has his own golden urinal in his dorm, of course he’s going to use it.

I’m glad people are interested in this au! Because these are similar questions I’m answering both in a giant infodump under the cut

(also I started thinking of this idea less than 48 hours ago so things may change/there’s still a lot I haven’t figured out yet!)

For people who don’t know much about the tv show supernatural that’s okay! I’m borrowing a lot of loose elements from the earlier seasons (mainly the aesthetics and angst haha). All you need to know is that Dean is the older brother and Sam is the younger, and they grew up on the road hunting monsters with their shitty dad while wearing lots of flannel.

In a way this au is also a half separated au lol. This is because Leo and Donnie were raised together by Draxum (with Donnie being the “Dean” and Leo being the “Sam”), and Raph and Mikey were raised together by Splinter (with Raph being “Dean” and Mikey being “Sam).

Draxum raised Leo and Donnie to be fighters and were constantly pitted against each other. This made them very competitive (and kinda violent) as they constantly tried to “win over” Draxum’s affection. (Leo began to realize that they would never be good enough and eventually ran out, but Donnie was more desperate for Draxum’s approval, and thus, more loyal to him)

Like in rise, splinter is very distant (especially emotionally) so Raph was basically raising Mikey by himself. I also think it would be interesting if they grew up at/near the Roadhouse, where April also works (fulfilling a similar role as Jo. In supernatural, the roadhouse is basically a bar where hunters pass through, hang out, share information, etc. in this au it would function similarly for hunters/maybe yokai instead?). Because Raph was very doting on Mikey, as they got older Mikey got tired of it and wanted to be independent, so he fucked off to art school (sorry Mikey I’m not diagnosing you with lawboy <3)

Draxum still created all the brothers in an attempt to create the perfect “warrior”. How Raph and Mikey got separated and how all four of them reunited as adults are questions I haven’t figured out yet LOL. Just know that they grew up thinking “I only have one brother” and then BOOM more brothers. Im definitely much more interested in exploring all the new brothers dynamics/angst this au entails! I already have drawing ideas for that so instead of writing more y’all will have to wait a bit ;)

I thought they could have something, but I think he was joking with the fans, who thought they were dating and with the fansx who knew he wasn't with Taylor, when journalists asked him questions, I think that, Fernando liked to know that he was connected with such a beautiful woman, but he never made any disrespectful comments about her, he was one of the few that I never found sexist at all with her, I stopped believing that they had something, with the songs about M*tty.

I've heard, at the very beginning, when she started going to games or when no one knew, if his brother was telling the truth about him knowing her, some fans were misogynistic towards her, I wouldn't be surprised, although I love watching football that the rest of the world follows, the players and fans can be very misogynistic or racist and everything, I remember this, since I was a little girl, so I wouldn't be surprised by this kind of behavior in such a masculine sport like American football.

I thought, you had heard about him talking about going to her show, I don't remember, whether it was in Kansas or another night, he felt like a very hot man, I think in a radio interview, he said that he made friendship bracelets to exchange with her fans and one with his phone number for her, honestly? I agree with you that Travis leans on Taylor’s fame and loves this about her. For example, his podcast merch sold out when Taylor wore the cap at Coachella and his brands social media account was updating everyone to know that they were restocking $$$$.

Trayvis fans like to believe that Travis’ behaviour is endearing and romantic but to do so would be to overlook the financial stake he has in this relationship. He profits off of her and we all know it.

However, like you pointed out, Taylor also benefits from being exposed to a new marketing demographic. Taylor and Travis have a mutually beneficial marketing arrangement. It’s what makes their relationship seem so superficial to me.

I also agree with your points on fandom culture. It’s why I don’t really consider myself to be a “swiftie” in the intense fan way. At the end of the day, all we want is to admire art and form connections within a safe community.

How do you think Levi and Mikasa confessed their love to each other?

Hi Anonymous! Thanks for your question.

To begin with, I ship Levi and Mikasa of course but I want to make it clear that my answer will remain based on IF Levi and Mikasa love each other.

I may disappoint you, but I don't think Levi and Mikasa are the type to openly and easily say "I love you" or stuff like "You're the love of my life." "Marry me."

For me, Levi is a man of action so therefore I would see his feelings expressed more through actions like protecting her, supporting her, being what she needs in the moment (a confidant, an accomplice, a punching bag, an advisor, a mentor…. etc.), he could be more tactile with her than with others (a hand on her shoulder, a light ruffle/caress on her hair, holding her back briefly by her hand or waist, rubbing her back for comfort, grabbing her face/arm/legs sharply if he suspects that she is injured…etc.) but mostly with a LOT of eye contact, eyes are the window to the soul after all. He could also express it verbally but implicitly with undertones like "I'm on your side/I'm with you." "I'm not favoring you/her, it's just that it annoys me less." And come on let's go crazy why not more concrete stuff like, "I'm not really an envious person but sometimes it pisses me off when I see that titan brat… he has something that I want and doesn't even know it."

Nevertheless, I believe that Levi is able to say "I love you". To me, he would have no problem assuming his feelings once he understood the nature of them but just wouldn't want to flaunt them. So eventually, he might say it if he thinks it's useful, it wouldn't necessarily be emotional but maybe more pragmatic? For example, I can very well imagine a scene where Mikasa would be upset by something Levi might have said or done or not done, she would ask him explanations, shooting him with her burning eyes and raising her voice while Levi would stay calm and give her a short, simple and clear answer: "I love you. " As if he was just saying a fact, letting Mikasa do what she wants with it, without expecting anything in return, because for him it's one-sided and he has accepted it. Mikasa feels uncomfortable and looks away from Levi. (a little like Daenerys in this scene of GoT :

And finally... she leave the room without a word but with a beating heart...

Concerning Mikasa, as I think she's shy on that level it would take time but she will get there for sure. And if she falls in love with Levi in the original SnK plot I think she would first be in denial for a long time given the grudge she had against him after the court so I don't think she would realize or accept her feelings quickly and easily. On the other hand, I think that unlike Levi, she will be really emotional but she would only be able to confess her feelings verbally and clearly in a critical moment like he or she is about to die, that she knows they or one of them wouldn't make it, it's the end so she has nothing left to lose. OR eventually in a happy-ending where, after a long road full of pitfalls, she will thank Levi for having been there for her no matter what and will tell him with kind eyes and a sweet, genuine smile that she has always loved him… well almost always!

To summarize, Levi would (possibly) be the first but Mikasa will express it more clearly and emotionally.

So here I hope my long answer is interesting and that you liked it. I went more with the idea of a Rivamika romance during the events of SnK because I think there's so much material for it, hence my Ackerbond fanfiction (which I don't update, I know… 😔)
