so um... i found a pose reference that gave me big vanishay vibes, but then i got carried away then tried to turn it into a lore moment for some reason? 😭

i don’t totally like how his arm looks plus i couldn’t get him low enough because the height difference was making it a really awkward angle, but that’s what i get for copying the anime style again... it’s janky but close enough lmao full disclosure vanilla's bangs and face are heavily referenced bc they were giving me the most grief to copy, no thanks to all those damn little LINES. reference + transparent vers. under the cut!

Mini Silverborn Countdown

If you’ve been around for a few years, you’ve seen me vaguely mention a “Silverborn Countdown Challenge” several times. It’s been delayed and changed as many times as the book itself, lol.

If anyone wants sort of a low-stakes, very chill and spaced out version of this ye olde never tackled challenge to complete in the next year before Silverborn, I propose what I’m doing:

Every 3 months leading up to the initial release, I am creating one thing based on each of the books.

January — Nevermoor

April — Wundersmith

July — Hollowpox

For absolutely no reason at all, I turned Lisa and Stacey into magical girls

i finished prime defenders today. i get it now. my god. i need to ascend or something.

#william wisp you are soOOOoooo #he became my favorite character so quickly in the last ten episodes #god i wonder if that’s gonna happen with gillion #idk william’s story just hit close to home #i’m so proud of each of the characters #vyncent for going to college to try and find himself #ashe going to college and finding the life they never got to have #dakota doing smaller scale heroism with a focus in social impact while living with tide #and of course william for learning to fall and still be okay and have confidence in himself and others that he can keep going #this was such a good ending for a while but i’m kind of wondering how a season three will feel #i mean season one and two were split by the team being apart as well (specifically with dakota)#but there’s a Time Skip happening here #and the problem hinted at is not Nearly as clearly outlined as ‘Save Ashe’ is #like william that’s kinda your fault you turned X into a villain #also we have to fight lucifer #also we Have to go back to fauna #also we need to meet the unwitness protection program #and obviously finding cantrip #augh i’m so excited for the future #and i am absolutely going to be drawing and animating sO much #words by me
