Cat Date - Wanderer x Reader

Reminder: I'm not an experienced writer so construction criticism is always welcome! Also, I write for fun. I just wanted to share my work around the world!

Pairing: Wanderer x Reader

Synopsis: Wanderer asks you on a date in a strange way.

Notes: Let's be honest, in this fict, the cats were Wanderers wingcat lol. Also, not my proudest fict but I still like the scenario!

Recently, Dove, your cat has been acting odd. She's gone the entire day and comes back meowing at your door in the middle of the night, ruining your whole sleep schedule.

You believed it to be some kind of cat ritual or anything else that's crazy. Though, one day, or night to be exact, you found yourself quite curious. Dove hasn't been at your door for 2 days.

What do you do? You got up, at 12 in the night, and went to the neighbors house. He's quite the strange guy, if you were honest. Still, you always thought he was a cat himself. If not, then he certainly acted like one. So why not pay him a visit.

You knocked on his door, and out came the bowl cut dwarf, “Ugh..you? What is it?” He grumbled, clearly annoyed that you woke him up. At this point, you were panicking, “I can't find Dove! Can you help?” You rushed, with thoughts of Dove lingering in your mind. What if she was eaten by coyotes? Or even worse, stolen!

Your neighbor laughed, “I'm Wanderer, by the way.” He replied, as if nothing was happening. Before you could say anything Wanderer butted in, “Your cats with me. She's in love with my cat, Raven, for whatever reason. It's truly disgusting” He snickered, though, meaning no harm.

You blinked a couple of times before immediately rushing into his house. There, you saw Dove sleeping with Raven.

Swooping her up, you rushed out of the house. Wanderer stopped you before you could make your exit, unfortunately.

He gave you his number, “Tomorrow, 5:00, xxxx” He invited before smiling, “Let's have a cat date.” You gave him a weird look, was he drunk or something? Wanderer doesn't usually act like this.

You figured he wasn't right in the head so you rushed out, hoping he'll be sober in the morning.

You kissed Dove's head before turning off the night. Dove responded with an annoyed mew, clearly unhappy about you embarrassing her about her boyfriend. Unfortunately for her, you couldn't care less about a cat's love life.

You woke up early. You thought about it for a while but you decided you'd visit Scaramouche. Two reasons, actually. One, you wanted to make sure he wasn't drunk. Two, you didn't want to ditch him in case he wasn't drunk.

You got dressed and went to the place he mentioned. It was a cat cafe. You didn't know he was into that stuff but honestly, you weren't surprised.

You walked into the cafe, immediately being welcomed by some girl. You nodded, a little creeped out, before finding Scaramouche at a seat. You walked to him, “Hey.” You greeted. He looked at you, “About yesterday? I'm sorry.I was drunk.” He replied, quickly. He must be embarrassed.

You checked, “I figured.” your laughter stopped as you saw Wanderer blushing, playing with his hands, “I like you. That part was true” He confessed, his voice low and quiet.

You were surprised, to say the least. This man sure had a strange way of confessing but you found it cute.

You figured, it was too early for dating. Especially because you rarely talk to Wanderer. Still, there was something about him you enjoyed, “How about we have more cat dates before we decide what's best?” You teased, referring to when Wanderer was drunk. Wanderer nodded, acknowledging your tease and accepting it.

You could both see the sparks between you two.

David

David wasn't the type to be possessive. He left you room to breathe but he has his limits too.

Whenever someone made a move on you, he let you turn them down. Although he did give the person hitting on you a side eye even by the time they left.

Before he cromed, whenever someone would harass you and to try to get your number, he would go over to you and gave that someone a very threatening glare. If they weren't fazed by him and just waved him off, continuing to flirt with you there was usually two things that happened.

The first one was him telling them that you aren't single and to stop harassing you.

The other one was when the first option didn't work. He would use force to get them off your ass.

After he cromed up getting people to leave you alone was a breeze.

After the problem was dealt with, he would get touchy and whiny. Saying something along the lines of 'these assholes are so annoying'.

Even though he knows you wouldn't leave him just like that, he can't help but still be a bit jealous.

Rebecca

Rebecca wasn't possessive. But she was pretty jealous.

When people wanted to ask you out, or get your number she would give them the nastiest glare they have ever seen in their entire life.

When that someone was starting to push their luck with you she trotted over to you and started yelling at them about you saying no.

Now, if you know Rebecca you know not to mess with her. But if they don't know her, they are most likely to just brush her off and just ignore her because of her young appearance.

When that happens she gets REALLY pissed. What she does to solve the issue is kick them in the gut, smash their face against the floor, or flat out pull her iron out.

When the person left she dragged you away from the scene.

She would be sulking about the incident for the rest of the day. She isn't mad about you not being able to do anything of course, she's mad about people being idiots.

Maine

Now Maine isn't specifically possessive, but he likes to make it clear that you're his.

He loves it when he can rub it in someone's face that you two are dating. And most of the time that's all it is.

But there are times when someone gets a little bit desperate. It doesn't happen often considering how Maine looks and makes it clear that when it comes to you, they can fuck off.

He gets annoyed pretty quickly when they start pushing it, glaring at them and telling them to back off.

But when that doesn't help he gets forcefull. He'll grab them by the collar of their shirt and tell them to piss off, shove them over, punch them in the face, etc.

When the person harassing you left he'll either make you sit on his lap, or if you're not comfortable with that, close beside him arm over your shoulder.

He's really pissed about it. If the person was still in sight for whatever reason he would glare daggers into them.

After that no one came to bother you.

Yes! Sometimes it takes me a while to carve out time to give a proper response (esp if pesky RL gets in the way) but I always plan to respond even if it takes me a while. It always, always makes my day to see a comment pop into my inbox and I reread comments a lot to keep up motivation when writing so its the least I can do <3

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Probably tell me you love me, come back and haunt me (S/J, 23K, complete) although its more of a bittersweet ending rather than an all out angsty one. I love laying on the angst when working through a fic but always aim to give something hopeful at the end (Sirius and James had enough tragedy in canon imo haha)

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

I'm a HEA girlie, so like most of them.

Maybe you'll see me in hindsight because the happy ending was hard won and I lingered in the happy ending for longer than usual.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Rarely, luckily.

Sometimes. Usually its pretty vanilla in terms of kink.

No. Well, I did when I was a teen, but those were pretty terrible so luckily there is nothing of that published :P

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

No. I'm quite insecure/secretive about my writing before I am ready to publish so I don't know how well my process would work with that... but it would be cool.

14. What’s your all time favorite ship?

Sirius/James always... my longest running ship by far. I always circle back to them.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I want you to ruin my life. I ended up anon-ing it because I felt so guilty every time I saw it on my works page. But I just lost the thread of that plot completely and had a few changes in opinions about how I think Sirius in Slytherin would be, which clashed with the story already written. But I'll never so say never, I've started to have some thoughts about it again, so maybe I'll get back into it...

16. What are your writing strengths?

Hmmmm um, the beginning of fic? Idk I feel like writing the set up for fics is at least the easiest part for me. I love thinking up what if scenarios and running from there.

Dialogue and angst & hurt/comfort also comes must easier to me than like action scenes and fluff.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Where to start lol, the most frustrating ones for me I think are plotting and writing a satisfying ending/climax.

I also struggle a bit writing clever characters as smart as they should be (hamstrung by my own intelligence lol).

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

Not sure if my opinion really counts here as someone whose only fluent in english, but I like to see it if its done respectfully and makes sense in the story.

This was my pet project over a really special time in my life and I think I will always have a massive soft spot for it (and find myself drawn to rereading parts of it often). I also managed to throw in a lot of tropes I personally really enjoy into this one (mid aged Sirius & James, midlife crisis James, competent Sirius (and James), mutual pining, co-dependency, jealous James, Harry having loving parents/adults in his life, etc).

2. What is the first fic you remember reading? some Artemis Fowl thing on a fanforum. I don't remember the very first one, but I do remember one of the fics that really impacted me. it must've been like 2011 or so... (AHA found it! here u go. LOL 2012.)

4. What fandom(s) are you part of? Have they changed over time? Right now I think just Jojo and Gossip Girl primarily are my fandoms, but sometimes I will dip my toes into other waters. maybe at some point I will write fic for The Owl House. I used to be into Harry Potter, but ever since JKR came out as a te/rf the whole HP fandom environment has become quite hostile. my first fandoms were artemis fowl and septimus heap! and I used to lurk a lot in the pjo fandom, LOL.

6. What is your current OTP? What do you like about that ship? well my Jojo OTP is jotaro/kakyoin, and i like how they're both very... neurodivergent4neurodivergent. also they are kind of that cliche trope of like, honour student x bad boy delinquent, except the trope feels kind of subverted, because jotaro is the most cinnamon roll delinquent in the world, and kakyoin is capable of fucking someone up real good, honour student persona aside. i love their interactions and the way they seem to understand each other on some inherently intuitive level.

for gossip girl, it'll always be date. even when im not writing fics or reblogging posts on here, sometimes i'll listen to songs and daydream scenarios with them in my head. they're like a home away from home to me; no matter what i hyperfixate on, i know i can always come back to them. what do i like about them? how much they like each other, how genuine their friendship is, how casual it is and how it's not forced or a struggle or anything like that at all. their dynamic actually sort of reminds me of me & my fiance (the whole "bro but romantic" is so us, haha) - so there is that, as well, lmaoo. :3

8. How do you typically read fic (e.g. phone, laptop, tablet)? Why? usually on my phone while lying on bed or lying on the floor or in public pretending im not reading fic LOL. but if it's a longfic and it's afternoon,i will sit at the table and read it off my laptop. im kind of in the habit of beginning my day with reading a fic and/or ending my day with a fanfic, which is why im usually lying in bed scrolling thru it on the phone. this is bad sleep hygeine and not very good for your eyes, kids, don't be like me. :P

2.5D Actor’s First Time Shopping for Yukata...So, a Yukata Date Scenario in Ueno!

Kondou Shouri is active in various 2.5D stageplays, and one of it is this September’s Hyper Projection Engeki Haikyuu!! The Summer of Evolution. This summer, we went with Kondou-san to a men’s yukata shop to get his own yukata. After that, with Kondou-san’s unusual suggestion, a hypothetical date at Ueno Park. Well then, please enjoy the shopping and date!

Actually, there’s a talk event on July 22 (Saturday), 『Gekidan Jungle Act 5 ~Assassins from Knasai! Gekidan Patch Attacks Tokyo in Yukata!!?~』(tickets are sold out) where Kondou-san is going to wear a yukata. Gekidan Patch performs different stages involving period drama and ninja things. However, it seems like Kondou-san has only worn a yukata twice.

“In case you want to buy a new yukata....” we took Kondou-san to a Men’s Yukata specialty shop in Ueno. We report a 3D yukata transformation!

Kondou-san: I’d like to know the various ways on how to dress up in a men’s yukata. Let’s go!

First, let’s choose a yukata from the metropolitan area’s best men’s yukata specialty shop

We went to Ueno’s largest yukata specialty shop “Fuijikiya.” Kondou-san is 184 cm tall, and has a slender body, with muscles trained due to volleyball.

Today we visited a men’s kimono and yukata specialty shop “Fujikiya.” Fujimoto-san and, the company president, Fujikiya-san met while studying abroad and opened the shop to promote the kimono, and Japan’s traditional culture.

Fujikiya-san originally worked as an apparel maker. Using his experience and sense in making clothes,  he made a variety of kimono and yukata such as the kimono in denim.

Fukijiya-san, whose hobby is tea ceremony, was shocked by the current situation where men’s kimono has few sales, and also of its high price range. With that in mind, he began developing the product with a concept of what kind of kimono he would like to buy. Besides the physical stores, they also offer custom kimono and yukata for sale on the web. Currently, this shop is famous for providing costumes for numerous movies and artists.

Kondou-san: Shop manager-san’s yukata is really cool~ I haven’t really worn a yukata that much before. How do I choose one?

Fujikiya-san: In choosing a men’s yukata, there are a few points to consider

1. For beginners, it’s better to choose a black or a deep blue yukata.

Fujikiya has different yukata in black, navy blue, and white, with patterns based on it.

Since it’s hot during summer, a white yukata can be refreshing and great for it, but “Since it’s your first time to buy a yukata, I would recommend either a black or a navy blue one,” according to Fujikiya-san.

Fujikiya-san: Light colors are cool, but it takes some time to get used to, and you’ll be wearing it around thinking it’s just like normal clothes. It can get uncomfortable since you’d be worrying about things such as soiling the sleeves, etc.

Kondou-san: Certainly, i’d be worrying about it getting dirty, and I’ll get fidgety lol

2. Length of the clothes changes for different body shapes, so be sure to try it on first

Since yukata tend to shift around whenever you move, always straighten them out with your hand. If you hold down the collar, you can check if the seems are still aligned along the spine, if it still is then it should be OK.

Fujikiya-san: Just like in wearing western clothes, trying the yukata on first is a must. Please select a yukata with emphasis on its length. When you fit it, the the sleeve length should not be bothersome and can be worn cleanly.

Kondou-san: I thought that the size was not important before since you can just adjust it with the strap!

3. The position of the obi determines how well you are dressed up!

In dressing up well and looking cool, the most important thing is, in fact, the obi!

The most important thing in wearing men’s yukata is the obi. According to Fujikiya-san “children wear the obi high up their waist, and for adult men, it should be low.”

Fujikiya-san: To tie up the obi, the lower part should reach the hip joint. This is the most important rule when wearing a yukata.

Kondou-san: I’m surprised! I wonder if I can wear one perfectly...

After hearing those different pointers, we picked out some yukata designs at once. Kondou-san can’t quite decide which one to choose. He’s such a handsome man~!

It’s easy to try it on over the top of western clothes◎

Once the yukata was decided, it’s time to choose the obi and geta. There were plenty of colors and sizes, so I guess we’re going to have a difficult time choosing again...!

Traditional Japanese pattern and solid color, even something as little as the geta can give off a little individuality

“If you wear a geta that is perfectly sized, it’s possible to step on the yukata. It’s better to choose one where the heels are slightly out.” (Fujikiya)

A popular choice for the obi pattern is the “献上柄”. “If you have a kimono, you probably do not have one, you should note the direction of the pattern should be going up, as it is often reversed.” (Fujikiya)

Kondou-san: Choosing a yukata can be as fun as choosing western clothes! Even though I thought this is a relatively good decision, I still got lost~

Gacha Game!MC AU

So! In the world of TWST, an interesting mobile game seems to have taken everyone, particularly young men and women around the age of NRC students - and even some adults - by storm!

It's the usual gacha-game type of deal! Banners are released, or chances to roll some characters may rise or fall depending on the date - and players have to roll for them. But the strangest thing is... You're/MC is one of the characters?!

The type of game can be determined in asks since its not entirely set in stone (y'all get freedom with it) - so if its the usual dating sim set in a workplace or school, something like genshin where you gather powerful characters to explore an open world, or food fantasy where you build a team to work through levels... It's all up to you!

Who might you/MC be?

You could be an ultra-rare character! Super powerful and well known even by people who don't know much about the game (like how I know that there's a guy name xiao or something in genshin despite never ending up too invested in the game)

You could be a less front-and-center member of the cast, perhaps like the food fantasy characters who have skills specifically for running the in-game restaurant part of the game. (and you could be their oshi just because your personality and design just made their serotonin levels spike)

It could even be something like twisted wonderland itself! Where you're starred in multiple banners with different outfits for various occasions, and the players can learn more about you through the stories they provide with each card!

What may happen because of this?

There's a bunch of fun things to consider with this AU! From being a character's Oshi, to being seen as an amazing cosplayer, to even having a scenario where fans collide (imagine meeting your Oshi... But you're their oshi too! That sort of deal!)

Then there's your likes/dislikes potentially being shown on a profile page in the game, and something happening like Adeuce trying to get onto your good side with gifts and trinkets...

It even has some yandere potential...

Hey there!

So, I’ve decided to do commissions if anyone’s interested ✌🏼️ Not sure if this will work out in the long run but let's try it. Never done this before (just created a ko-fi account lol).

I'm still writing normal requests but those will probably take a little longer.

I don’t really want to write too much here, just the basics as to how I imagine this whole thing to go. First of all, let’s start with some rules:

As for the reader, please let me know if you want an/your OC or reader insert (if you want with name). Please give me as many details as possible, e.g. appearance, personality, what they like / don’t like, etc. The more details the better.

For the plot, please don’t just write: “nsfw scenario with X and my OC”. I need some more information. Different from normal requests, you can be as specific as you want since it’s your commission and you pay for it!!

Unlike normal requests, there is almost nothing off topic with commissions. The only rule I have: NO UNDERAGED CHARACTERS / OC / READER!!!

There are still some kinks I’m not too comfortable with and I will charge extra for those kinks. Such kinks would include:

can you tell us more about the text game you're making? i'm sure you've talked about it lots but i'm new here lol

OH YO yea i can!!!!

so THEE text game, the main one, has been an ongoing project for over a year now (possibly two but idek anymore lol)

you can choose to either play as Adam or Amanda, which determines who you can date— each PC has 3 different routes/dates!

for Adam, you can either date Lawrence, William (SAW 6 main victim), or Gibson (internal affairs cop from 3D, played by the same actor as Tod from Final Destination). for Amanda, you can date Lynn, Laura (blond woman from SAW 2 who died in Amanda's lap), or Pamela (William's sister from SAW 6)

each route is about 4 chapters long (give or take, some have "B" chapters which are short continuations for specific choices that didn't make sense as part of the main chapter, or a full-on 5th chapter) and has an optional NSFW scene during one of the later dates (usually the last one, but Gibson's is a little earlier + Lynn and Pamela's routes are still unwritten). it doesn't have a title yet, hence why it's just called "the text game," but it's hit about 53k words (over the minimum length for a romance novel, lmfao) and is by far the biggest thing ive EVER written.

Lawrence's route is a fairly standard mix of dates (you have dinner together, go to the beach, etc) — William's route centers heavily around food both bc I love the hc that he can cook but food is a very comforting thing and William is a very comforting presence, so it just fit together in my mind? totally unintentional lol. Gibson's gets into the most... stressful scenarios, in that he CAN end up shot to hell in the hospital, BUT he survives! and in one ending you can marry him.

Lynn's route I have started, but hit pretty major creative block so it's possible I'll wind up scrapping it. Laura's route, which is nearly finished (I'm procrastinating on like A Singular Paragraph of conclusion writing lol) is very seasonal! for the most part it's lighthearted + you get to take her to an apple orchard n go ice skating together! Pamela's route is entirely unwritten save for some mid-date dialogue I drafted when inspiration struck out of the blue— I headcanon Mandy as a nonbinary lesbian and Pamela as a trans woman, so one of the dates (2nd or 3rd most likely) will center around going stargazing and Discussing The Gender

I also have two finished text games, Still Life and Group Therapy. in Still Life, you play as Lawrence and date Adam with a nice little mix of angst and fluff depending on your choices. in Group Therapy, you play as Adam and can choose to date either Eric Matthews or Mallick Scott (twitchy dude from SAW 5). these are both MUCH shorter than The Untitled SAW Text Game (Still Life is 7,500 words and Group Therapy is only 5,500)

then the NEW untitled text game, jokingly referred to as [redacted] is a short side project of just morally reprehensible bullshit, but yes it is still SAW-centric and yes, i will probably post a link to it eventually (with the appropriate content warnings)

I will skip over some planets that are Very slow moving and usually don't talk about you as an individual but refer to your generation as a whole.

I wanna focus on lilith for a sec bc worstie lilith talks about our fears, our more "darker" side that we hide from ourselves as well as the people that we love. Lilith in aries in the eleventh house tells me you might be afraid to take charge, you gravitate towards positions of leadership but you let go on the last second, almost afraid to have too much control, very often self sabotaging your own success. Hi! I love your works! SCP and Service Series are one of my personal favorites! I would like to ask where you get all the inspiration, motivation and idea from? Because the Service Series is such a unique work with a unique plot and I am just amazed at these ideas you come up with. Thank you for giving us great scenarios. Your angst scenarios hits home too!! I hope your stories will reach other people's fic recs. I'll make my friends read your works!

Hmm….inspiration, motivation and ideas. A large number of my stories draw inspirations from manga and k-dramas, especially for my fluffier fics. For my angst-ier stories, I get inspired by other fanfics since so there are so many talented writers on here; not to say that I take their ideas (god forbid) but sometimes I get inspired by someone’s tone/message of their story. Some fics are pretty much literature and I get inspired to improve my writing and try to reach the level that they’re at. :) 

My motivation comes mostly from myself. When I have an idea and I begin writing, I fuel myself to finish until the end. I’ve only ever dropped 2-3 fics and that was because it was just an utter mess. Messages from readers + other feedback help with the motivation part but a large amount of it comes from me. Let me tell you - to write a damn 100k story, you’re gonna need a lot of self-determination. There’s just something I love so much about writing - how you can literally transport into another world and how most often that not, the result is soooo much better than what you could’ve ever thought possible. The story is always better than the idea you had. I genuinely make a hard effort to finish whatever I start. 

My ideas. They’re random. I can be on the bus, looking outside at the pavement and an idea would just hit me. “What if….” Sometimes I might just listen to a song and BAM something just slams into my brain and I’m like ‘oh my god’… Honestly, I’m trying to remember how I came up with my ideas and I can’t. LOL. I have so many of them on a regular basis…but I think music is one of the biggest things that give me ideas.

Specifically for the Service Series….fun facts - I have this loooong list of fic ideas that I’m completing one by one, currently it has 10 pages. LOL. Anyways, I had Rent-a-Boyfriend on there for awhile and usually I write my fics in the chronological order of when I came up with those ideas. But it was getting closer to Valentine’s Day and I was thinking that it would probably be a good time to write that fic so I bumped it up on the to-do list. I write it, post it and it does EXTREAMLY well. Still my best fic out there up to date - in terms of notes. And I’m like so confused (still am), like: ??????. People ask me to write a sequel but I genuinely have 0 ideas. I’m scrolling through my to-do list document and then I see ‘Heartbreak Insurance’ and I’m like “lol…wait a minute….wait a second here…this is kinda related…hmmm…what if…what if…what if we just write a service series?!?!“ and thus it was born.
