summary: miles introduces you to his parents, and despite your growing anxiousness at leaving a good impression on them, you blow his mom away with how well you spoke spanish--a little better than her own son, she'd say. word count: 471

"mom, dad, this is my partner." miles said as he looked at his parents and back at you with a smile. you smiled at his parents, and his dad seemed pretty okay with you--he nodded with a grin as he asked you for your name, which you gave them, of course. his mom smiled slightly at you, but looked at miles with a questioning gaze. after a while, miles was pulled to the kitchen by his parents as they asked him questions about your relationship together.

miles came back to you as he emerged from the kitchen and gave you a crooked grin as he threw himself on the couch next to you. "they really don't trust that i love you and am ready to be in a relationship with you. see, this is why i introduced you to uncle aaron first." he said as he peered over at you as you looked at him with concern in your eyes. "don't worry, though. they like you, i'm sure they do." he said as he inched his hand closer to yours, and soon, placed it over your own hand, causing you to release a small chuckle of surprise and look flushed in the face.

before miles could lean in and peck a small kiss on your cheek, his mom called out for him to set the table in spanish. "miles! pon la mesa, quieres, por favor?" "ah, uh, en un minuto, mom!" "qué quieres decir con 'en un minuto'? te pedí que pusieras la mesa ahora, tú pusiste la mesa ahora!" you giggled as miles was losing against his mom in this back and forth argument on setting the table. miles finally gave in and agreed to set the table right away, with you tagging along to help him so he'd finish faster. as you both got in the kitchen, his mom's attitude did a full 180 as he watched you enter. she smiled widely and asked you to sit back as miles, being the good, obedient son he was, would set the table all by himself.

"ay, muchas gracias señora morales! pero, vine con el para areglar la mesa mas rapido, esta bien con usted." you told his mom in a clear voice, without stuttering one bit. his mom stared at you and then shot miles a look. "...wow, they're better than you at this." his mom told miles with a wide grin, which left miles feeling a little embarrassed, but pretty glad that you won her approval. you didn't disagree with his mom, you believed it was better to leave it at that. miles sighed as he looked over at you and mouthed, "it's like you're her favorite now." he said with a slight chuckle as his mom reminded him to set the table now like he said he would.

oh, he's so confused. of course he knows that you're speaking in another language, yet he doesn't know what you're saying...

so, naturally, he wonders what you're talking about when he accidentally overhears you in a call with your friend one day.

"ang pogi si toya... like jusko sobrang sweet niya sakin baka magka diabetes ako." (rough tl: toya is so handsome... like oh my god he's so sweet to me i might get diabetes.)

... he understood about... 3 words—'toya', 'sweet' and 'diabetes'. and now he's extra puzzled.

toya asked you about it the next day since he doesn't want any misunderstandings between the both of you. which led to you becoming a rather shy mess while explaining what you were talking about.

"oh... i see."

despite the dry response, you could see toya's face lightening up once he realized that you were actually gushing about him, just in a language that he didn't understand.

he definitely researched some cute endearments that night, so don't be surprised if he randomly calls you names like 'mahal' or 'sinta' from now on.

★ shinonome akito — italian:

akito got the idea over time that you were talking affectionately about him in another language, but he would prefer if you admit it yourself. mostly just to tease you, honestly.

with that in mind, he's still a bit surprised when you tell him you love him in another language.

"...ti amo tanto." (rough tl: i love you so much)

"huh?"

"nothing!"

but with how cute and funny his reactions are, how can you stop? his confused look always looks so charming whenever you compliment him.

eventually, he gets tired of your teasing and just translates what you're saying when you're gone. prepare to be surprised with random compliments in your own language by your boyfriend.

rui is a sneaky one, so you always make sure to gush about him whenever he's actually away, or if he's asleep.

and in this situation, you thought he was asleep. keyword: thought.

unsurprisingly, it seems like your boyfriend stayed up a bit later tonight to finish an invention. you chuckled softly, finding him endearing as you covered him up with a blanket.

"...너 정말 귀엽다. 잘 자고 있길 바래, 내 사랑." (rough tl: you're so cute. i hope you sleep well, my love.)

rui was actually awake, though. of course, he couldn't understand a thing you said, but that only added to his list of robots to make.

so, weeks passed by after that incident. and something similar happened again, only this time, rui was prepared.

he rested his head on the desk, setting his brand new translator bot nearby to record what you say.

and, to say the least, his experiment did not disappoint! he's never going to let you live this down, either.

just to mess with you a bit, and to let you know he knows about your little secret now, he went up to you the next day, whispering something into your ear.

AAAA HI BABY ♡ I cannot express how happy this made me ?!?!? Like, I'm bumping it up on the prio because it made me sooo kilig when i read it HAHAHAH I hope you like it lots !! (also if any filos have corrections/improvement on the tagalog dialogue pls lmk because I am notttt the best at writing in tagalog dialogue lmao) also ! I changed it and made him, like, not super \ fluent yet at Tagalog, hence why imo some of his dialogue sounds a bit;;; like, practiced? textbook? if that makes sense? HAHAH

Wriothesley doesn't have some big, grand reason for doing any of this. It's not your birthday or your anniversary or anything like that. He's not meeting your parents and he sure isn't planning on proposing just yet.

In all honesty, it all started from a quick kiss you pressed to his cheek and a string of words in a foreign language whispered into his ear.

"What did you say?" he asks when you pull away, a small smile on your face.

"I said mahal kita," you tell him, a hand resting on his arm. Your eyes soften almost imperceptibly when you say the phrase again. You sound so damn fond when you say it, it makes his heart want to skip a beat. "It's one of the most common ways to say 'I love you' in Tagalog."

"Can you say it again?" He asks, and you easily comply.

Mahal kita. Mahal kita. Mahal kita. I love you. He turns the words over and over in his head, then tries to replicate how you pronounce it with his own tongue, but the words come out a bit funny thanks to his fontainese accent. He's not used to the intonation of the language and it shows, if your amused little laugh was anything to go by.

"Like this," you tell him after watching him struggle for a bit and taking mercy on his poor tongue. "Repeat after me." Then you open your mouth wide, so he can see how you do it.

"Ma."

"Ma?"

"-hull."

"-hull."

"Kih."

"Kih?"

"Mhm. Tah."

"Tah."

"Put all that together, and you get mahal kita."

He tries it again, but it still comes out a bit funky. Not at all like how you say it, sounding buttery smooth and practically dripping with charisma. Despite this, you still smile at him like he's given you the world in your palms, or like you're about to cry from happiness. You press your lips against his, stealing the air right from his lungs and making his eyes flutter shut. He can never get tired of kissing you, he thinks, and if messing up a little bit gets him this much affection, he can only imagine what you'd be like if he improved.

"Mahal din kita," you mumble against his lips, breaking away but not straying far.

After that, unbeknownst to you, Wriothesley picked up what is essentially (but not actually the title) a Tagalog for dummies book and hunted down a guard in the fortress who can speak the language enough for him to consult whenever merely reading the words on a page was not enough.

You've also begun to speak Tagalog more and more around him since finding out his interest in the language. You've even managed to correct his pronunciation a little bit, despite how new much of it was new to him.

("You have to roll your r's a bit more, Wrio. Like... like you're purring, i guess?" That, in particular, he heard quite often. Who knew that his mother tongue said their r's differently from yours? Certainly not him.)

He eats up every bit of advice you give him in passing when he tries to replicate whatever word or phrase you just said, quietly taking note in his head and repeating the phrases back to himself even when you're not around. He goes to that one guard he had dubbed as his 'Tagalog tutor' and peppers them with questions so often that he figures it warrants him to hand over a particularly generous bonus later on for letting him as much of a bother as he is.

And finally, after a good long while of giving it his best effort, his tutor deems him able to hold a conversation in Tagalog well enough, and promptly pushes him out the door, telling him to 'go get 'em, boss.' before hastily locking the door behind him.

When Wriothesley wanders back to your living quarters, reassuring himself that he's been practicing for this, for you, and that even if he gets it a little bit wrong, you're probably going to be happy either way. Probably.

"Sweetheart?" He calls, coming inside. He follows your faint 'over here' to find you on your bed in your casuals, relaxing for the day.

When you catch sight of him, you smile, beckoning him close, just to press a kiss to his lips when he leans over. "Hey," you say, grinning up at him.

"Kumusta ka? Namiss kita, mahal. " He says, the words coming out a soft murmur against your lips. You pause for a good while, jaw dropping and brows furrowing in confusion, and Wriothesley fears that he could have messed up somehow. Then a wide smile breaks across your face as you glow with absolute delight.

"Hoy, talaga?! Nagtatagalog ka?" You sit up to be eye-to-eye with him, and you see nothing short of pride in his eyes. One of your hands flies up to cover your mouth as you gasp. "Woah, ang galing mo!"

And oh, it's one of the cutest things you've ever seen from him— Wriothesley smiles, just s little bit, and the slightest hints of a blush dust his face. It's adorable to see how he reacts to your praise.

Wriothesley's eyes dart away from yours, one of the few tells of embarrassment you've ever seen from him. "Pasensya na, di pa ako magaling magtagalog. Nag aaral pa lang ako."

"Kahit na!" You're clearly enthused, happy and grinning and buzzing with energy. "Namiss din kita! Okay naman ako. Ikaw? Kumain ka na ba?" All those hours and late nights trying his best to get the words right, and this was the very reason why.

"Mhm, kanina pa, bago pumunta ko dito." One of his hands reaches up to your face. The callouses and scars of his hand drags a giggle from you as he tries to rub the sleep from your eyes. "Sana nakatulog ka ng maayos."

And compared to when you first told him you love him in your language, his Tagalog has improved by leaps and bounds. Still affected by his accent, yes, but his hard work showed through. It is that and the tenderness in his voice that makes you break this little song and dance between the two of you. Your hand reaches up to hold the one cupping your cheek, letting you lean further into his palm.

"Were you intending to surprise me? Because you certainly did. In a good way, I mean."

Wriothesley chuckles. "I'm glad. Been trying to learn it since that first time, and I think I'm making some progress. Though anything more than a simple conversation is still a bit much for me."

"Kahit na," you repeat yourself, "You're amazing! You got so good! Oh, we are going to have so much fun having secret conversations that no one else can understand."

He playfully quirks an eyebrow at that. "While that's definitely going to be some fun, I really wanted to learn how to, ah, tell you that I love you back."

"Oh." Again, you pause. "Well. Here's your chance, I guess." And you smile at him again, the one that has his heart skipping a beat. Wrapping your arms around his shoulders to pull him into your space, you press your forehead against his and close your eyes. He can feel your breath tickle against his lips, and he almost sighs in response.

"Mahal kita, Wriothesley."

"Mahal din kita, my love."

Translation:

Oh how I've been waiting to send these all in. My time has finally come.

- They have a rule where none of them are allowed to drink alone (Epic scared the shit out of them one specific time, both Delta and Color have landed themselves in jail from doing dumb shit before), so if one drinks, they all drink together. If Beta gets uncomfortable, they will stop. However, them all being some form of drunk means Beta gets recording and blackmail privileges.

- They all need different ways of comfort (Epic needs physical/verbal reassurance and distractions, Color needs verbal reassurance as touch can be too much for him at times, and Delta needs physical touch and to talk about what's bothering him).

- They all speak multiple languages (since Delta and Epic's creators are both from the Philippines, I imagine they'd both speak Tagalog, Filipino and Spanish. Epic also probably knows Japanese. Color can speak Arabic since his creator is from Egypt (from what the wiki said).

- They have definitely blown something up as a group before. I will let you decide what that something will be.

- Delta has blown up a microwave before on accident (and gets clowned for it).

- They all forget to eat sometimes and need to be reminded.

- They are all banned from UNO, Monopoly, and Mario Cart. Especially Delta.

- They know about Epic's depression and help pull him out of depressive ruts when needed.

- They know how to calm Delta down and distract him if he's getting too angry.

- They know how to comfort and gently but bluntly correct Color's hyper-empathy if it's causing him too much stress.

- They all love Zorox so much and probably give him too many treats.

- They have all had some form of an identity crisis at one point or another.

- On the alignment chart: Color is lawful good, Epic is true neutral, and Delta/Beta is chaotic good.

- They are very protective of each other. If someone is talking shit, they will handle it differently; Epic will 'jokingly' threaten to shut them up, both physically and verbally. Color will correct their behavior and scold them, maybe guilt trip them a bit. Delta will probably threaten to beat the shit out of them if they don't stop.

- They all experience PTSD nightmares.

- Epic is the reason they found out Beta gets sugar rushes (and since they affect Beta, then it would probably affect Delta too? Their ADHD would probably be off the charts).

- They all drink way too much caffeine (Delta is forced to drink half-caf bc Beta goes off the fucking wall Bonkers if they get any of it).

- Due to trying to avoid sleep, Epic sometimes experiences hallucinations/delusions if he goes too many days without sleeping.

- Delta/Beta are the most chaotic obviously, therefore need to be watched over to make sure they won't do anything crazy or stupid.

- They can all be a bit dramatic at times.

- Beta has definetly tried to see if they could roast marshmallows from the heat of Color's flames before.

- Beta is the little brother of the group and is treated as such.

- They all know ASL.

- They probably know Morse Code.

- They do NOT like creepy dolls or figures. Including mannequins. Epic and Color are disturbed by them and dislike them, but Delta/Beta HATE them.

- Epic takes great joy in annoying them with brainrot slang.

- They'll just. Pick each other up sometimes. Sometimes it'll be for a reason, like if they have to put Delta/Beta in air jail, but other times it'll be just for fun.

- I'm not sure how to explain it but their ages vs. how they act goes like this: Epic is the oldest but acts the youngest, Color is the middle but acts the oldest, and Delta/Beta is the youngest but acts the middle (Beta acts their age).

- During their haunted explorations, sometimes the ghosts will attack Beta, mostly because he's another ghost but in a different way. The rest of the group protects him (usually Delta switches out with him).

- Also during their haunted explorations, Delta has gotten possessed before. It was not fun. They no longer play mirror games or do seances. His tells for possession are: eye flickering (his eyes will flicker-change colors to whatever the Soul color is of the possessing ghost), going nonverbal, sudden aggression, acting like who's possessing him (ex; if the ghost possessing him likes to hide around, Delta will suddenly run/teleport off and hide from the others. They will have to find him, and if Delta doesn't want to be found, he won't be for a while.

- If one of them (usually Delta) says something particularly unhinged, the others will gently but firmly either whack him upside the head or bonk him to correct him.

- Sometimes Delta will need to ask permission to beat the shit out of someone (usually this is directed at Cross and Killer if they do something dumb). They made their own little signs to ask so no one outside of their group would be able to understand. He is usually told no (there was one rare occasion he was allowed to rock Killer's shit, and it made his entire fucking week).

- (This is inspired by that one ask talking about how Delta would try to sacrifice himself in battle) Delta has little to no self preservation skills. Like worse than the other two. He will not think ahead to how certain actions could affect the future unless its during a fight or dire circumstances. He has had suicide issues in the past and his friends know about it (hence one of the many reasons no one's allowed to drink alone).

- (Also inspired by the same ask as above) whenever Delta tries/does stupid and/or harmful shit, his friends do not let him get away with it. They have had to drive him to the hospital on more than one occasion depending on how hurt he is. They will talk about it with him no matter how much he doesn't want them to.

- Even though he doesn't like Cross and Killer, if he notices or is told that something he's doing is bothering them, he will stop immediately. No questions asked. He may dislike them and want to fight them, but he won't disrespect or purposefully trigger them.

- Beta likes to bite on random. Delta could literally just be working and all the sudden Beta tries to bite his hand. Like a puppy. Along with that, if he feels like he's not getting enough attention, he will start bothering them or try to play-fight.

- Yk that challenge where you fill your mouth with water and then smack someone with a tortilla? They've done that challenge before.

- Beta likes bugs. And also likes to scare the others with them.

Yay more headcanons!

Although I tend to lend more towards Color being Neutral Good, according to this description;

“Neutral good is a character alignment that describes someone who acts altruistically and without regard for rules or tradition. Neutral good characters are often willing to cooperate with lawful officials, but they don't feel obligated to them.

They may also do the right thing, even if it means breaking the rules. Examples of neutral good characters include healers who treat both sides of a fight and people who feed the starving during a war.” But lawful good seems to fit pretty well too.

And I can imagine that both Epic and Color are very protective of Delta and helping when whenever he hurts himself, not only because he’s their friend and because they care about him, but because Delta is in large part the only reason they’re able to still keep going in the day to day.

Delta was very helpful and inspiring for them both. Meeting Delta when he did is the very reason Color was even able to help Killer at all, let alone keep going without also getting himself killed. And im sure Delta has managed to help and support Epic in ways he’s not been supported—wouldn’t allow himself to be—in a very long time.

And tbh cross and killer probably have a lot things to thank Delta for. Bro’s the unsung hero. (Not that Delta would ever think of himself that way. That’s all because Epic and Color so both unbelievably strong and brave in his eyes.)

And ngl I wanna know what was the occasion where delta was allowed to absolutely rock killers shit cause lords know he deserves it (coming from someone who isn’t nightmare or Chara of course.)

Cybertron does have very distinct cultures, determined by "class" and the place of origin. There is something Scottish about Tarn (which I find funny because "tarn" is a Scottish word).

That's an interesting point, Megatron. I don't know enough about Earth cultures to compare them with the cultures of Cybertron, but I know you're always pretty happy and comfortable in Scotland and Northern England, when we go.

When the weather is pleasant, Scotland and Yorkshire are both... the feeling... it feels like home to me. James doesn't say anything for a while so he has to glance up at him. The guy insisted on him to study at the library. Regulus got distracted reading a book so he lost sight of the parchment he was writing on.

"Potter, did you know where it is?" Regulus repeated.

James pursed his lips without looking away from the book he was reading.

"Huh?" He asked, bewildered.

James only pursed his lips even more.

"Just speak, Potter. I have no idea what are you doing."

"It's right there." Once again, James pursed his lips. This time, pointing his head towards a certain direction.

"Are you asking for a kiss right now?"

"No, I said it's right there," James insists, pursing his lips again.

Regulus sighs, actually leaning in before being stopped by James pressing his palms on his lips. "Wait, you're actually considering it? The parchment's right there."

He smacks James at the back of his head. "Why'd you use your lips then? Just point where it is."

"I'm more focused on the fact that you considered kissing me just 'cause I said so." James smirks, not so subtly leaning towards Regulus' side.

"Distance, Prongs," Sirius suddenly interrupts. "Keep your distance."

"When did you even get here?"

"I told you I would keep an eye on you."

"Tangina naman neto oh"*, James murmured, scratching the back of his hair.

"Putain de marde, Prongs. Don't cuss at me in tagalog assuming I can't understand you." Sirius snapped.

"But you're always around!" James complains.

"Fuck off, James." Regulus really hopes his blank face can hide his flustered expression.

"You weren't at the Great Hall today. I figured you hadn't eaten yet. I made this." James handed Regulus another circular Tupperware, color yellow this time.

By the time Regulus opens it after getting back to his dorm, an aromatic scent hits him. What greeted him seemed to be white rice with an odd-looking red meat. It looks fried with a slightly charred hint of melted sugar.

The predominantly sweet, garlicky, and slightly peppery taste is what reaches his taste buds. The meat that seems to be pork is incredibly soft. He can't help but let out a quiet moan while chewing.

With the food James kept giving him, he might gain weight sooner or later. He still didn't know what his agenda was. Even with his embarrassing stunt at the library, Regulus is quite sure James is doing it just as friends. His friends were just confusing him.

That is how James really is. He is clingy. He's sweet. He's considerate. He's flirty. That's just how the man is around his friends. He certainly does it around them too.

Like the way he always notices when Regulus hasn't eaten anything. The way he always gives him food and always tells him all these cheesy lines he barely understands since it's in another language.

How he unknowingly makes Regulus' heart flutter. How he made the stoic, cold, often emotionally devoid Regulus Black feel flustered. He does that to all his friends. That is where they are getting to, right?

You could ask him anything and he absolutely would tell you everything he knows on the topic, all the way until he can’t say anything else about it.

You can always find him in some weird ass situation. Like, you can count on it. He doesn’t even know how he gets in these situations.

You can waltz into his home and find him covered in fucking dirt with his feet in the laundry room sink. There’ll be some big ass carrots on his kitchen counter, and he’ll tell you that he just won his fight against them.

Or you’ll find him covered in snow in the middle of summer, telling you he just climbed a mountain or something.

God, it’s so hard to characterize him.

He’s definitely bi. Bilingual and bisexual. Double whammy. Actually he’s not just bilingual. He definitely speaks like 50 different languages, that he just knows. Like. It’s never explained how or why he knows Arabic or Tagalog. He just does. Sometimes he just switches up languages when he’s talking to himself (btw he talks to himself) just because he wants to speak in a different language. It makes talking to strangers worldwide very easy. At least, if any of you end up traveling.

He also is so good with kids. He’s that fun adult that kids confide in when they can’t confide in their parents. Because he doesn’t offer advice. Honestly, giving advice really doesn’t come to mind when someone is venting or whatever to him. He defaults straight to threatening whatever is making the person upset. Oh!!! Actually, so about this! For reference, I'm Filipino, born and raised in the Philippines. I can speak Filipino and Tagalog pretty well, and I can understand Bisaya (Cebuano is its official name, but everyone in the Philippines calls it Bisaya) well, but I can speak it only a little bit. Anyway, I've always wanted to incorporate Filipino and Bisaya into my fics but didn't know how...and then I thought of Filipino Phoenix! Happy to say that I'm planning on writing that soon :3

So yeah, happy to include languages other than English! Especially my native language. Otherwise, for languages I don't know. I use Deepl, it's a very useful tool!

I should start on a master list of facts for everyone to quick nav on tumblr haha but I love your enthusiasm for the cast! Let's get cracking on Q2!

Languages/Background

I was also waiting for this kind of question because I thought about it-- a lot, way too much, in fact lmao. I won't go too in depth about each of their backgrounds, especially since some of it is heavily intertwined with their stories, but I'm happy to indulge the basics!

So down the entire cast, we got:

Percy - Japanese (1st Gen); he's fluent in Japanese and it is his first language but he definitely uses English the most nowadays. He only ever speaks his native tongue when he's at home. He also knows a bit of Hawaiian Pidgin. It's what he picked up from Elio when they came to know each other in high school.

Elio - Hawaiian (Dad)/Thai (Mom); English is his first language but his family makes sure to teach him Hawaiian, Hawaiian Pidgin, and Thai. He's conversational with the first two, especially since that's how his grandparents on his dad's side would choose to communicate with. However, since he doesn't get to visit his relatives in Thailand often, Thai is definitely the less practiced of the bunch. At this point, he can somewhat hold a conversation but it's more like-- he understands the language better than he can speak it.

Jamie - Swedish; Swedish is his first language but he is the biggest polyglot on the team, and I mean big. He's fluent in English and most, if not all, European languages (German, French, Italian- you name it, he can probably speak it). Korean is something he recently picked up, though- just so he won't have to wait for translations for the manhwas he likes lol. Learning languages is easy to him and if he's motivated enough he could be conversational in a couple of months.

Deja - Haitian; English is her first language but she's conversational in Haitian Creole. She only speaks it if she's with family, especially her oldest and more distant relatives, or when exasperated. Deja isn't really in the business of flexing her second tongue since it's not something people immediately close to her use a lot.

Cameron - Nicaraguan (2nd Gen); English is also their first language but they dip into Spanish with their family, especially their grandparents. In the KF world, I believe you wouldn't catch this unless you're fluent in Spanish, but Cameron would speak with Nicaraguan phonology so some of their pronunciations might be weighted with 's' sounds.

Reynah - Filipina (1st Gen); English is her second language with Tagalog as her first. However, after being in the states for so long she's not as fluent in it. It's the same case as Elio and most children who migrate at a young age- Reynah understands better than she can speak. That being said, her accent surprisingly lingers. You hear it when she's angry or speaking fast, and you hear it at the end of her sentences or at a break- that short 'ah' sound Filipinos speak with.

And that's all of them! Though it's probably too redundant for me to note, everyone doesn't have an accent except for Reynah and Jamie. Jamie keeps his Swedish accent even though he's fluent because it's too much effort to use an American accent lol

Hobbies (Deja and Cam)

Aha yeah, gotta sneak in anime references when I can and I'm glad you like Cameron too! They're very endearing to me ^^ But okay bestie hobbies! Def gotta know this since MC's best friends with them. So to start--

Deja

Deja's got a handful of hobbies. Does she have time for all of them? No, but she's got them! And they're mostly to help her unwind. For games, she tends to like the ones that relies on strategies and skill. Platformers are her go-to's as well as party games. She's not competitive in the way Elio is but she'd be damned if anyone took her spot at the top of the leaderboard.

Besides video games, she likes to tend to plants and players can see that their shared apartment is littered with them. If she miraculously got more free time, then she'll pick up a knitting/crocheting project.

However, her favorite thing to do in her pastime are her nails! At the apartment, her and MC would indulge in movie nights/marathons so that she could paint and dry her nails during the duration of the showing. The last thing you'd catch her with is a broken or chipped edge.

Cam

As you peeped, Cameron watches anime! They only watch though- they like the action compared to reading. They've been on the grind for a while so you can consider them a veteran haha. Their favorite genres to watch are Slice of Life's, Sports, Shoujos, and Dramas and Thrillers. I know, I know, that's sort of weird jump from their other favorites lol but they like being swept up into the story line like Percy. So if they start crying about a fictional relationship or jumping on the couch because of a murder mystery- then it's safe to say they're enjoying the show.

Other than that, Cameron really likes art! In fact, it could've very well had been something they majored in! They're that good. But alas, they decided on a pre-law track so painting and drawing remains as a past time.

And of course, who can forget music. They only play one instrument and it's not often, but they love listening to it- especially Kpop. If you look through their car, you might find a photo card or two tucked away somewhere. That, and their albums lying next to their seat. (I'm not supposed to be referencing actual bands but Cameron has slipped into the diamond life iykyk)

Past Relationships

Oh, first love is a good guess! But out of the entire cast, half of them have been in a serious relationship before and that is Percy, Deja, and Reynah. Everyone else either had crushes or went on a couple of dates but never went official with anyone.

I won't go into the specifics for either Percy or Reynah, but since Deja's your roommate and best friend-- conversations about her love life would have cropped up before the start of the game. So at the very least I can say that she's dated a couple of guys during her high school and freshmen college year.

She broke up with all of them pretty quick though haha I wouldn't say she was wasting her time with them- she doesn't date for the sake of it like some might. So every relationship could've been something- but she's got zero tolerance for cheaters or massive fuck ups so they ended up being nothing. C'est la vie

We meet again, Bohol!

As beautiful as the Philippines is, many destinations offer mostly sand and surf. But not Bohol. This province is known for unique attractions that you can’t find anywhere else in the Philippines.

Sure, other islands in the Philippines are worth recommending, too, but most boast one or two of the following — white beaches, incredible sites, diverse wildlife, interesting history. Bohol has them all. From wild encounters with dolphins and tarsiers to the incomparable views of the Chocolate Hills, Bohol is a province that is easy to promote. It doesn’t need much sales talk.

We stayed at Coastal View in Panglao, then we transferred to On Board Beach Hostel and Resort for some quiet alone time near the beach. The wedding was at South Palms Resort, and I can attest that this is probably the most exquisite hotel here, next to Bohol Beach Club.

I was tasked with the daunting task of speaking in front of everyone. I wasn't really prepared to cry, so I let the "funny" me take over. Let me share to you guys my speech during the wedding.

"Kamusta naman ang lahat? Nakainom na ba? Kung Hindi pa, ito na yung time. Haha. For everyone's reference, I'm jasfher ako yung favorite friend ng groom and bride. Jk. Haha.

Nung sinabi nila na magssppeech ako, siyempre napressure ako kasi hello 'di ko naman sila close? Ano sasabihin ko dito? Jk. Haha 

Okay kidding aside, sige maybe I'll just start ho I met the bride and the groom. Tagalog yung speech ko so pasensya na. To our foreigner friends, welcome to the Philippines. Haha.

Si brux and karla orgmates ko from UP travel society. Hindi ko din alam paano nabuo yung barkadahan namin, pero I guess we all just clicked and nagkakaayaan na lang kumain, gumala, tumambay ganyan, and the rest was history. So kwentuhan ko na lang kayo muna ng mga misadventures namin para may pulot naman kayo sa speech ko. Haha.

Sa mga travel namin, si karla isa sa mga main organizer, tapos si brux ang aming walking calculator. Sa tamad naming magcompute, si brux na bahala sa hatian, feel namin nagogoyo kami minsan, pero okay lang kasi wala naman kami nung math skills niya. Haha. 

Nung nasa adventurous era pa kami, ang bonding namin ay umakyat ng bundok. Nagbuwis buhay trip kami sa Mt. pamitinan, tapos nagpapicture sa crater ng Taal, nakiparty sa Malasimbo sa Puerto Galera with hindi namin kilala, nagbackpacking kami 8 days sa Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand na natutulog sa bus dala bagahe, kumain ng scorpion at tarantula, kumain ng happy pizza, nagtemple hopping sa Angkor Wat at sa mga temples sa Thailand, tapos nag 8 days din kami sa Bali, Indonesia ewan ko din paano namin napupull off pero napakadami naming pinupuntahan tapos wala ako sa organizing committee so ang ambag ko talaga ay chumika at magpicture. Haha.

pero sa mga local travel namin, dalawa yung pinaka favorite ko: yung 1) Siargao at yung 2) South cotabato. Yung siargao kasi grabe talaga yun gabi-gabi kami lasing as in tumatakbo kami nina karla sa kalsada tapos hinahabol kami nina brux. Haha. Dun ko din naranasan maghanap ng GoPro sa dagat ng nakaflashlight lang kasi nalaglag nung nagsurfing kami. Grabe talaga yun. Nung South Cotabato naman, natry namin yung highest zipline in the South East Asia, may nadaanan kaming apat na waterfalls ganun kataas. Tapos ang dami naming change costume nag T'boli traditional costume kami, tapos nag abaya and hijab kami nung pumunta kaming Grand Mosque. Very dubai ganon. Haha.

Favorite memory ko sa kanila ay every travel namin, nagsusulatan sila ng postcards. Sabi ko grabe couple goals. Indeed a matchmake in heaven walang distance distance. They will really make way to communicate, and show their love for each other. The yin to each other's yang.

So medyo ang haba na no? haha so summary and summary? Haha. Nakita ko silang nag grow, both literally and figuratively. As in kung may masasabi akong couple na tested by time and distance ay sila talaga iyon. Proud na proud ako tbh na nakakakilala ako ng mga taong kasing galing niyo. sobrang supportive niyong friends, sweet, thoughtful, funny, smart, witty, amazing lahat na. In between those laughters, I know genuine love is there. Sobrang happy ko na nagkatuluyan kayo, and from day 1, alam kong kayo na talaga. I know madaming taon taon pa tayong pagsasamahan, at andito lang kami para sa inyo. Congratulations, Karla and Brux, and i only hope the best for you both. Mahal na mahal ko kayo 💕

Cheers to the brucals!" Probably the best and most heartfelt wedding I've been to. Cryfest. Literally shed buckets of tears. So this is how it feels like to see your close friends get married. I was so lucky to have witnessed this momentous event in our barkada (god and tanda na namin haha)

I travel a LOT. And when I say a lot, I mean a damn lot. Not even sure why I like it so much, I guess it's one of those things that give me joy.

My point is, not everyone around the world speak English, and even less Japanese, which you could say are my "first" languages. So due to all the traveling I do, I eventually learned a couple of languages.

The languages I can fluently speak are:

English and Japanese, which I've spoken my whole life.

Spanish, one I began to pick up after traveling to the south.

Portuguese, which, due to my Spanish knowledge, wasn't so hard to learn.

And Italian, which I began learning after coming to good terms with Mario. (By the way, I always try to speak Italian with him and Luigi. They're lowkey my teachers)

Right now, Languages I'm trying to learn are: Korean, Indonesian and Tagalog. I'm definitely struggling with Korean, as for the other two, not as much.

Lastly, French..

Listen, I tried.. I really tried, but the accent is just NOT it. When I read and listen to it, I can more or less understand, but when it comes to talking it.. man.

Sebastian narrowed his eyes. “Weren’t you raised in Manilla?” Blaine’s mouth parted for a moment before he was able to speak. “They mostly speak English there nowadays.” “And you never wanted to learn?” Sebastian pressed. Blaine swallowed harshly, the questions feeling pointed and mean, and Sebastian didn’t even know the insecurity he’d zeroed in on and was needling at. “Of course I did, it just wasn’t ever an option.” “Barry was fluent,” Sebastian said, “why didn’t he offer?” “I mean, he did,” Blaine floundered, “we just never had the time.” “Didn’t you meet two years ago?” Blaine reached instinctively over to Cookie in his bassinet beside him. His body was preparing to grab him and bolt the second Sebastian finally said what he was getting at. You’re not Devon, you’re not my brother’s husband, you don’t belong here.  “Two very busy years, I’m sure,” Grace interjected, shooting Sebastian a glare. “Of course,” Sebastian said, eyes still trained suspiciously on Blaine.  Why didn’t he just spit it out? He didn’t seem like the type to be nervous about being wrong, he could start slinging all the accusations he wanted until one stuck, but he was waiting for Blaine to give in, admit that he didn’t deserve to be here. Blaine had spent his entire life being told that. The bastard Anderson child, he didn’t belong in the high society spaces his father and Cooper occupied, no matter how much he wanted to. He’d had to carve out his own space his whole life, and fuck him if Sebastian Smythe would make him forget that.  Blaine squared his shoulders. “What about you, Sebastian? Do you speak any languages other than privileged asshole?” Blaine knew this game, he knew how to play it, was a master at it. He’d sent boys with families richer than Sebastian's fleeing off to their rooms licking the verbal wounds Blaine had inflicted. Blaine heard Paco snort from his place by the door and a glance to the side showed the Father was hiding a smile behind his hand. Sebastian didn’t flinch, simply raised an amused eyebrow. “I do, actually. French, Italian, Spanish, even Tagalog. Though privileged asshole is a dialect I’m fluent in in almost every language.” Blaine grit his teeth, hearing that even Sebastian could speak his language when Blaine couldn’t sparked shame hot in his stomach. “Wonderful,” he said icily, “maybe you can teach me sometime then.” Angry tears pricked at his eyes, anger at that smug bastard for thinking himself better than Blaine for speaking a language his own mother had been shamed for speaking. “I think I’m still tired from the accident,” he said, pushing away from the table and leaning down to pick Cookie up from his bassinet. “Thank you for dinner, Grace, it was lovely.” He sniffed slightly, and left.

Hi hi! i love all the work you do :> do you have any favorite headcanons or panels about Kakucho? are you hoping we might get to see a glimpse of him this season?

Hiiii thanks sm!!!!! I love Kakucho so I would love to see him this season but I doubt it, I'm guessing it'll end somewhere in the manila timeline or maybe with a teaser of Izana/Tenjiku. (Though I have been very off with predicting the timing of the anime so far so this could be incredibly wrong). As for hcs I came up with a few random ones below and then a bunch of my favourite panels.

Long haired Kakucho likes his hair being played with, he'll close his eyes and relax when someone plays with his hair.

He is just such a sweetie in the gym, always offering to spot people, scare creepy people away and encouraging others. He looks a little intimidating but is a big sweetheart.

He actually really enjoys taking pictures of his friends, izana is his favourite. (Probably because he didn't get many photos of himself growing up being in the orphanage).

He takes cooking classes and is immediately adopted by all the mums there.

His earring was actually a gift from Izana

Took care of Izana's fish after his death 

I also feel like he keeps his room very clean, tidies up often and actually enjoys cleaning.

Sometimes the others in Tenjiku tease him by calling him the baby, he hates it.

Gets a bit nervous around kids (at first) but they all love him.

Compliments people when drunk 

If Izana expresses an interest in learning tagalog then he'd learn it too (he'd do the same with a s/o who speaks another language)

Would 100% be bffs with Senju (she would totally be up for beating up yakuza members as a work out with him)

Hes petty with Sanzu though, it's canon he didn't like him so I bet he spent a bunch of time rolling his eyes behind Sanzu's back when he's speaking.

Bonten Kakucho cared for Mikey's Well being a lot, made sure he ate, slept etc

Jokes that hina was too good for Takemichi when he first met her

Was actually friends with Takuya too (him and Takemichi made up the Takuya protection squad)

Is actually very needy and clingy, loves physical contact (get this guy a hug stat!)

Can drive a bike but prefers riding with Izana

Izana was the one who actually taught him to drive as he reprated the lessons Shinichiro gave him

Sucks at drawing 

Never really got into the whole social media thing, quote a meme at hom and he'll go huh????

Has saved countless women from creepy guys, will pretend to be their boyfriend to make the other guys back off. Has also saved a few guys too.

Has a special bond with Draken (they bond over their similar situations).

Is a little jealous of Shinichiro and the amount Izana talks about him.
