Hello! I'm Ashton (25+) looking for a 21+ partner for 1x1s or a small group. I've been in the rp game a long time and I'm excited to find something new and exciting. I prefer writing 1-2 paragraphs per replies and third person, past tense, NSFW is cool with me but I would like there to be plot with it.

Grease - I'm a sucker for the bad/good character trope and I've been dying for a Grease/Outsiders theme. Characters would not have to be in high school. Would prefer F/F, M/M, F/M. I would like to play the 'Bad Boy TBirds/Greaser' role.

Supergirl(CW) - I have written as Kara for years and she is near and dear to me. Would love to play her against Lena, Alex, Sam/Reign, Barry (Flash) can be Canon or AU, super powers not needed in AU's. I just love these characters.

Peter Pan - Would love a darker take on the classic (Think Child Thief by Brom) with lots of angst and mature themes. Characters would not be underage. I'd want to play the Peter character. This would be an OC x OC rp for sure. MxM, F/M.

Glee- I mainly write as Marley, Sebastian, Ryder or Finn. However I've written as almost every Canon character over the years. Would like a canon/canon plot. (Ryder and Finn fc would change)

Yellow jackets - Just lemme play a Natalie against a Misty or Lottie.

When I finished school everyone told me that I'd need to go to university to get into the job I wanted but I decided not to go and instead I applied for an internship with fc Barcelona. Somehow that month long internship turned into a a full time job and I couldn't love my life more. Since I joined I feel like more and more people have been relying on my skills and my role has just expanded but I don't mind one bit as I’m really enjoying the responsibility and it's nice to feel valued. As part of the many new parts of my job I am now in charge of filming days for the club which means I am getting to meet the players for the first time as usually I'm in my office or in meetings most of the day. 

Today is my first filming day and I'm actually really nervous but not about the work I’m nervous about meeting the players. I have never been that outgoing so talking to new people isn't my thing and knowing that these guys are top level footballers isn't helping my nerves either. It's not helping that I did once meet one of the players who's now left the club and they were really mean so now I'm worried about all of the others being the same. I have to put it all behind me though as I have to do my job and in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter what these guys think of me. 

Like always I arrived early to get everything set up like getting the cameras in place along with checking the schedule as we are supposed to be filming more than one video today to make it all worth while. All of that didn't take too long so I just sat outside answering some emails and getting some other work done until the first set of players arrived. When those players did arrive we got straight on with things as I know that these players just want to play so I want to make this part of the job as easy as possible for them. After the first few videos were done I was really started to get the hang of things and all of the players had been super nice so I was feeling an awful lot better then I was when I first arrived.

Filming days are always my least favourite as I would much rather be playing or training but it's all part of being in the squad so I've got a bit more used to it over time. Usually everything is really rushed and the people in charge are just incredibly bossy and seems to dislike everyone which is the part I dislike the most as I hate people who are like that. Today I'm filming with Pedri which always makes things slightly better as at least we can joke around together but I'm still not looking forward to it. 

We both arrived early as Pedri didn't want to be late even though I didn't really care. He made me go straight to where we were filming as well which begrudgingly I did but when we got out there I was very surprised to see that the usual faces I see on filming days weren't there. Instead there was this girl who looked really young even about my age talking to the filming crew and getting things set up. I've seen her around a few times before but never knew who she was although in the few glimpses of her I've got I have thought that she was incredibly pretty. Knowing that she was going to be in charge of filming changed my whole outlook it actually made me excited to be here and doing the part of the job that on any other day I'd hate doing. 

Pedri must have sensed that I liked this girl as all of a sudden he grabbed me by my wrist and dragged me towards her. He introduced himself to her which meant I had to do the same and I did manage to do it but with a few stutters which I cursed myself for. Pedri continued the conversation which meant I had to keep talking to her as well and I kept stumbling over my words like an idiot. She was polite and took an interest but I just know she was wondering why I was being so weird as I never act like this around anyone else. At some point she excused herself to get something from her office and once she was gone Pedri just laughed at me. 

"Stop laughing its not funny I just made myself look like an idiot" I said 

"Oh did little Pablito make himself look silly in front of his crush" Pedri teased 

"She's not my crush" I bit back 

"I don't believe that I saw the eyes you looked at her with and I don't think I've ever seen you mess up your words that badly in front of anyone before" he said 

"Whatever" I replied trying to end the conversation 

"There's no need to be embarrassed I'm sure if you talked to her she'd see that you aren't as weird as you've made yourself seem" he joked 

"It really isn't funny I think she's really pretty and I made myself look like an idiot in front of her she's not going to want to keep talking to me now" I said finally giving away my feelings 

"Its ok man I know you and if you just talk to her I'm sure you can use your charm plus she seems really nice I'm sure she won't hold your first meeting against you" Pedri said 

Our conversation ended there as y/n came back and told everyone that we were going to start filming so we all got into position where she told us too and the cameras started rolling. She kept directing us on what to do and asking the questions we were supposed to answer in the video but I wasn't focused on that I was just watching her as she looked so pretty with the sun shining down on her and the wind blowing her hair ever so slightly. To keep me focused Pedri had to keep hitting my arm but every time I found myself drifting back into a dream world where I actually had a chance with her.

The last video of the day was with Pedri and Gavi who others have told me are a nightmare to work with as they mess about but I think that is good for the video as people want to see the personality of the players so I was actually excited to meet them. Despite looking forward to actually meeting the golden boys of the team I was also slightly nervous because Pablo is my around my age and from the first time I saw him I thought he was really attractive. Up until now I've never had much to do with the actual players so it didn't matter that I liked Pablo but now that we are actually going to meet I have to be professional and just forget about my feelings even though it will be quite hard. 

While everyone was getting set up I felt a gentle tap on my arm so I turned around only to be met with Pedri and Gavi stood right in front of me. They both introduced themselves and I did the same before Pedri started a conversation between the three of us. The whole time I was trying not to stare at Pablo but it was so difficult especially as whenever he spoke he kept stuttering and messing up his words which made me worried that he didn't like me and just wanted to get out of the conversation. At some point I was feeling really awkward so I excused myself to go back to my office and grab something when in actual fact I just needed a minute to sort my thoughts out before we had to start filming. 

I wasn't gone long before I was heading back and along the way I could hear Pedri and Pablo talking and I wasn't trying to listen but it was hard not to listen when thats the only noise. I heard Pedri laughing before I heard Pablo say that he really likes someone and made a fool of himself in front of them. To start with I felt hurt as I thought he was into someone else but then I heard my name and because of the situation I thought it could't be a coincidence. As much as I wasn't supposed to hear that it made me feel a whole lot happier as it meant that my stupid crush wasn't unrequited. The only problem is that nothing could ever happen between us as that would almost definitely get me fired although it could be worth it if I can be with Pablo.

After filming that one day Pablo came up to me and we properly got to know each other and since then he often comes to my office to hang out after training and we have even spent a few evenings together at his place but we are still just friends. He will make the odd flirty comments and I always reciprocate but nothing has come of it which I guess is alright but it just leaves me confused as to whether he's just leading me on or not. No one knows about whatever is going on between us either as I don't want to risk my job and he doesn't want the public to find out which means I haven't even told my friends out of fear of them telling someone else. 

Today is a big day as it's an el classico and for once I get to go to the game and actually watch instead of working as my manager has given me the evening off to enjoy the occasion. Being an employee of the club means I have access to all the behind the scenes parts of the stadium so when Pablo text me to meet him after the game somewhere private I started to worry as I just couldn't imagine it going well. No good conversation ever happens in a situation like this especially as he text me before the game so the conversation could go even worse if the team lose. If I wasn't nervous enough for the game now I feel like I'm going to be sick with nerves for whats going to happen after. 

The match was great with Kessie scoring a late winner but I couldn't let myself get fully excited as I knew that once the final whistle blow I had to go and find where Pablo wanted to meet me and find out my fate. Once I was inside the little room that I'd barely noticed before all I could do was pace back and forth which was only a few steps as the room as so small. So many thoughts were flowing around my brain and not a single one of them was positive it was just different variations of Pablo telling me that he didn't want to be friends anymore or that he's found someone else that he's fallen for. After what felt like an eternity the handle one the door turned and Pablo entered and then locked the door behind him which only worried me more. He looked at me with a big smile on his face which sent my mind spiralling even more. 

“Is everything ok what did you wan to talk about?” I asked just wanting to know 

“Will you be my girlfriend?” He just blurted out 

“Oh my I wasn’t expecting that of course I will” I replied before I really thought through the situation 

“Oh thank god I was worried you’d say no and you don’t have to worry I talked to your boss and he said that it was ok as long as we can still be professional when we need to be” he explained 

“Can I kiss you now?” He asked 

All I could do was nod before he leaned in and we had our first kiss which quickly turned into our second and third before we both pulled away with big smiles on our face. Before leaving to get changed Pablo asked me on our first official date which will be like all our previous hang outs but this time with a label and as a couple.

Peter Ryan: A comprehensive public clobbering, an icy-caustic bookend to the relationship that wormed its way into her discography with the ebullient "Me Enamoré", stuffed with double entendre indictments sharp and specific enough to preemptively render any rebuttal pathetic. Structurally it ranks among her most ambitious, all polyrhythms and quasi-freestyle character, the latter part no doubt owing to the BZRP Music Sessions format. There's catharsis in her kicking open the door on the private strife about which she'd previously stayed tight-lipped, and in the meta-narrative of the megastar shaking off the dead weight and finding creative reinvigoration. While they've become fewer and farther between in the last decade, she hasn't lost her knack for creating a Moment -- I heard this at the corner store, wafting out of passing car windows, on the dancefloor -- she wasn't kidding about cashing in. Alex Ostroff: The main attractions here are Shakira's righteous and yet somehow still icy fury and her impeccable wordplay. She wishes her ex the best with her "supuesto reeemplazo", but makes it absolutely clear that nobody is capable of actually replacing her. In someone else's version of this revenge-pop anthem, your husband absconding with a woman half your age might be a source of insecurity, but for Shakira it's another sign of his cluelessness -- at 44, she's worth two 22-year-olds and presents it as a simple and obvious fact. Bizarrap initially seems to take a backseat, but he brings plenty to the table, evolving his production and adding details that accentuate and complement hers. Tonight, I'm obsessed with the way he brings in that reggaeton-esque percussion right at "Me dejaste de vecina a la suegra/Con la prensa en la puerta y la deude en Hacienda" and how that propels the song into Shakira's triplet of creíste/heriste/volviste rhymes. Shakira's best material in the post-Fijación Oral era of her career has consistently been her Spanish albums, but until the restructuring of streaming and Billboard chart metrics in recent years, their popularity (and pop excellence) was never properly reflected. Of Pique's many, many sins, the one I'm most angry about was causing Shakira to relocate to Spain -- away from her main collaborators and recording studios -- and thus keeping her away from the radio at a time when audiences' engagement with global pop (and especially music in Spanish) seems much bigger and more permanent than the limited crossover moments of the 90's and early 2000's. Her post-BZRP releases have mostly been collaborations with an extremely varied list of rising Latinx stars in a wide range of genres, from a reggaeton heartbreak diss track with Karol G to a regional Mexican polka track with Fuerza Regida about labor rights and Pique firing the nanny who snitched on him for cheating. I have absolutely no idea what to expect from Shakira next, and I couldn't be more excited. [10]

Aaron Bergstrom: As a non-Spanish speaker, I'm probably missing out on some of the nuance here, but allow me to offer a brief letter of recommendation for 1) listening to this for the first time with minimal context, 2) focusing only on Shakira's inflection and intonation, 3) picking out a few lines where she sounds especially pleased with herself, 4) thinking "ooohhhh, I bet these are daggers," and then 5) looking up the English translation and confirming that every single one is just as vicious as you'd hoped. Because let me tell you, it is a delightful experience. [8]

Jessica Doyle: Cuando era niña, en mi escuela podría estudiar solamente francés; no empecé a aprender hablar español hasta desde cuatro o cinco años. Will Adams: An undersung aspect of what makes "Pa Tipos Como Tú" so compelling is how Bizarrap's beat switch-ups throughout the song propel it forward. It begins as an icy breath of Italo that recalls She Wolf's more delirious moments. Midway through the second verse, the floor caves in to reveal a heavy, rhythmic groove, as if gathering power for the next attack. The second chorus arrives with a walloping synth bass, reminiscent of "Padam Padam" but even more menacing. It makes for one of the most exciting listening experiences of the year, instilling an uncertainty of where this thing is headed next. All the while, Shakira floats on top, mercilessly delivering a brutal takedown that leaves nothing in its wake. [8]

Tara Hillegeist: The last time anyone on Shakira's level tried to write a song about how mad she isn't like this, it was over a decade ago, and "Irreplaceable" that effort absolutely wasn't, drowned in goopy self-affirmation and breathy lack of confidence. Compare the liquid contempt swirling around every syllable, here, the bared-fang sharpness of the enunciation as she howls "You thought you'd hurt me, you only made me stronger/Women no longer cry, women get paid". Shakira's fury isn't the fury of a woman left abandoned, with only scorn as her cold comfort -- as one of pop's inarguable queens, she has an entire country at her back. It's only natural that she can't simply settle for destroying her ex's memory alone, when there's an entire dancefloor waiting to destroy it in her honor instead. Pity Shakira's ex-husband, who will go down in pop-cultural history as nothing more than the expertly character-assassinated trophy this song leaves behind to hang on the she-wolf's wall, alongside all the others who thought to make a prize of her instead, only to find, as ever, that it's not their world to rule, but hers. Or don't; the viperous specificity with which she approaches the subject matter in question makes it readily apparent that from her perspective, this reckoning was only ever held at bay by the love he squandered in the first place. The other woman should probably count herself lucky Shakira only holds her accountable for thinking herself entitled to taking Shakira's place in his affections; if there were any other reasons, Shakira clearly wouldn't have hesitated to include them. Let the dancefloor show mercy, then, if there's any to be found. [9]

Katherine St Asaph: Shakira's hips don't lie; their involuntary sway, she's said, is how she identified Bizarrap's track as a Depeche Mode homage too chilly to pass up. And yet the track is not nearly as cold as the way Shakira vaporizes her song's targets from on high. That her specific complaints are relatively petty -- basically, that getting cheated on has stuck Shakira with a lot of rich person problems -- is beside the point. Repeatedly, she drops the real names of two real-ass people, syllable by syllable via careful wordplay, as if putting a scope into place. Her vocal is mixed loud, processed past any human timbre, and arranged to fill all space in the track. She sounds less like an individual jilted woman than a metallic weapon, than the genderless, pitiless, all-judging voice of God. Finally comes the killing smite: "and now you're with someone just like you." It's not often that experiencing a punching-down feels this bitter and inevitable, this compelling and correct. [10]

Rose Stuart: I said in my review of Olivia Rodrigo's "Vampire" that, in the year of breakup songs, hers was the only one that wasn't full of posturing. This is the only song where that posturing feels earned. Where other songs made neither their pain nor strength convincing, Shakira comes out triumphant, coming for blood with each finely picked detail in every savage line. The song never stops going in, even using the name of her ex's partner for some masterful wordplay. I've heard many breakup songs that try to go at the singer's ex, but this is the first time I've actually felt sorry for the song's subject -- after all, it must be hard to show your face in public after being roasted this thoroughly. [9]

Wayne Weizhen Zhang: A swaggering, sexy encounter that has me simultaneously wanting me to say "I'm too good for you, bitches!" and "Step on my face, mother!" [9]

Jacob Sujin Kuppermann: lol hell yeah [8]

Alfred Soto: With any insignificant number of synths per track signifying as "1980s" the response to this track was a given, but the thudding insistence of its beat muscled past those assumptions. As alert as a burglar with good tools, Shakira talks so much shit that the judgment fades before the verdict. Imagine if they'd released this at the height of the 2010-2011 EDM epoch. [8]

Jonathan Bradley: Bizarrap's sleek, gleaming disco sets off the lack of adventure in Dua Lipa's 2023 comeback; these cool synths glide with a propulsive sense of drama. Shakira, uncharacteristically, is the weak spot though, allowing herself to recede into the background. She doesn't always command attention, but even her reserve is usually compelling all on its own. Here, she's content to vibe, waiting for someone else to make something happen. [5]

Brad Shoup: Impeccably imaged: we're used to that from Shakira. But the chilliness is something else: a brisk disco kiss-off that fogs up the anguish she's audibly fighting. The way she paces herself is really cool: icy pop in the first verse, a switch to reggaeton cadence at the end of the second that fully detonates in the third. She's acting as her own feature rapper: just another power move. [8]

Ian Mathers: I was the high mark last time we covered Shakira, but even if I was going to be here (doubt it!) it'll clearly be for very different reasons. With "Don't Wait Up" it was that fucked-up little organ (or whatever) riff, and while Shakira was good, her performance wasn't specifically what drew me to the track. Here, while the production is good, it's her performance that's much more central. Even before my monolingual ass looks up a translation you can kinda just tell from the vibe that someone is getting it in the neck, and/or Shakira is feeling her oats ("and," as it turns out) and then once you do... "Sorry, I already took another plane" is a hell of a way to start. Taylor Alatorre: All else aside, it must really suck to not only have the Tsar Bomba of diss tracks dropped on you, but to have that track sent out to the world with this podcast episode-ass title. Like, at least Jay-Z can boast that he's part of the reason we all say "ethered" now; no such consolation here. The tossed-off nature of the release, while adding insult to injury -- you don't even get an album track! -- makes it harder to admit this into the pantheon of the greatest diss songs of all time. But I get the sense that legacy is not really what Shakira is concerned with here. This is a crime committed in the heat of the moment, in broad daylight, and everyone will remember where they were when they witnessed it. For her, that is enough. [7]

Hopefully these answers aren't too cliche. ;)

#1 - Nightcrawler

What can I say? Even thought Batman was my introduction to superhero comics way back in the 90's, it wasn't long before my friend started introducing me to X-Men and Excalibur. She was really into Kitty Pryde but I immediately fell in love with this blue dude. (Thankfully they appeared in a lot of comics side by side so she had lots of books for me to read.) I had a pirate phase because of this guy. I watched a lot of Errol Flynn. I have Flaming Carrot comics on my shelf because of that one time he had a FC t-shirt in one scene. He's my rotten soldier, hes my sweet cheese, my good-time boy.

#2 - Honey Badger (Gabby Kinney)

Maybe the only Marvel comic book gal I've ever cosplayed? She's just... fun. I appreciate that even at her young age, she's really been through it. As a clone "granddaughter" of Wolverine, she's got that tragic backstory down pat, but she looked at all that trauma, and how Logan and Laura responded to it, said, "nah" and went on about her life caring about animals and being besties with Deadpool. There's probably a metaphor in there about generational trauma or something, but needless to say, I'm just glad there's a superhero girl out there who wears pants and looks and acts her age.

#3 Spider-Man (all of them)

I know, everyone is so surprised. The most popular superhero in the whole world. XD As a middle schooler, I lived on a steady diet of Gargoyles and the Spider-Man animated series, both of which introduced a lot of (dubious) scientific concepts before my science class got anywhere close to talking about stuff like genetics or cloning. I know Peter Parker is written to be this supposedly relatable everyman, so it's not hard to project on to him, but that means there's a lot of *there* there. I think Spider-Man is also one of the heroes who best understands his position as a symbol. Other characters go about their super-lives, making choices that they think are right, but in the back of his head, I think Spidey is always aware of the fact that kids look up to him, and that holds him to a stricter code than a lot of heroes. He walks this razor thin line and is stressed out about it all the time, and that's what the kids call a complete mood.

#4 Foggy Nelson

Putting up with Matt Murdock's crap is a super-power, actually.

No, but seriously. I LOVE a best friend type (see also: Nightcrawler) who provides that pragmatic (but not gloomy) perspective that other "more exciting" hero types need. They're not just there for comic relief, or so bad things can happen to them when shit goes down, they're essential, and Foggy performs his role admirably in basically every incarnation.

#5 The Bowler (Mystery Men)

Shut up, I'm putting a Mystery Men entry on here because that movie kicks ass and more people should watch it. I was vaguely aware of this movie when it came out (because of my aforementioned interest in Flaming Carrot comics) but I wasn't in a position to go out and see it. A few years later I picked it out of a bargain bin and it rocked my socks off. Mystery Men's greatest crime is being ahead of its time. It's a pastiche that came out before the world was oversaturated with big budget super-flix. And the Bowler is easily best of the bunch. I have a soft spot for Janeane Garofalo who brings the exact energy this role needs. I love her for being a competent hero who is still flawed and has her own shit going on, and I love that she's just... a woman out there doing her best... FOR REVENGE. I painstakingly made her costume for Halloween one year and literally nobody got it and actually I do not care, it's dope.

Matsumoto Wakana

It's been a long road, but I finally finished this... Been excited (and super nervous) about sharing this FC I thought up some years ago when I first got seriously into the TMNT franchise.

This is Roxanne (no official surname yet as I'm still working out a few things for the story but have toyed around with a few) created for the 2003 series' storyline set two years after the events of the Turtles Forever movie. (Some may argue it's not really canon, but eh?)

Speaking of her story, I don't want to give too much info away at this stage since it's in early development and things are bound to change, but it will be a fanfic centred around a blossoming, friends-to-more-than-friends romance -with some action sprinkled in here and there cause c'mon, it's TMNT, and I do try to keep true to canon (for the most part)- and y'all can take a wild guess as to who she'll eventually be paired with. ;)

I haven't a clue when I'll actually start the fic, but I do want to put things into motion cause I'm getting ancient, so even if there isn't writing, there will be some art uploaded every now and then, and not just in regards to this but other general TMNT related art.

As for this piece, I tried to recreate the character reference sheets that the animators made for the series (you can find them online :) ) as best I could, though it's not perfect of course, and I'm honestly not sure if I'm fully satisfied with the result when it comes to the proportions and overall style (plus I think the lineart isn't the correct thickness). This may be controversial amongst the fans, but my fav art style of the series is actually Back to the Sewer (BTTS), hence why I've chosen to draw my girl like this and how I envision the story. I honestly do love all the styles, but BTTS is just the most visually appealing to me (it's the eyes ;P ). That being said, it wasn't easy to replicate and I'm not certain I actually did it justice but I also worked on this way too long, so consider it a first attempt and I may just redraw her at a later stage since I do want to use the main base to showcase different outfits so it has to be right. I'm also a dumb-dumb since all the official characters are posed in such a way to show all the details of their clothing and such, but no~oo, I had to be different and try to display more of her personality in the chosen pose (plus I was already halfway done with it when I noticed this) so now you can't see that her jeans have a seam down the legs... x(

Just some extra info about her: She's 22, about 5'1'', and works as a veterinarian assistant. I wouldn't say her occupation is of major importance, but it does play a role in how she meets the Turtles... well, one of them anyway.

I'll stop rambling now cause this is getting long and all over the place. Glad to be able to finally share her with you guys and hope you find her to look okay so far. Hehe~ I shall be trying to draw her boss and co-worker soon if all goes well. 'Til next time~

If she was forced as much as Ethan than hell yeah I’d be sooo down but let’s be real a successful women who takes no bs from anyone and practices tough love. PB would have introduced her as scary and would have had everyone be afraid of her instead of inspired by her. She’d barely be around because apparently she’s super busy and doesn’t have time to interact with MC at all even though Ethan did.
