genderfaerec | genderfaunec

genderfaunec: a form of genderfluidity in which one is fluid between genders that are not fully female and is rarely any masculine genders. end pt]
anon asked for the first term and i figured i'd coin the second!
the flags are based on the genderfaer and genderfaunet flags with the colors i associate with femininity/masculinity desaturated or removed. the terms just add an 'ec' at the end — that addition has no meaning, it just sounded kind of nice when added to each original term.

Fluid Gender Pride Flag
Tumblr media
Similar to the concept of fluid orientation flag, this is a flag for when one's gender identity is fluid. This doesn't mean one necessarily that one identifies as genderfluid, but they can if they want to. It can be considered the auingender/autonomique version of idingender.
The word amplusian is more ample and encompasses fluid genders, but it's a label, and unlabeled people can have fluid gender experiences. Genderflux people can consider their gender experience fluid, for example, even if they have a static gender (fluxstatic/genderfumy). Transgender people can consider their "change" or transition as a fluid experience too.

Initiation.
When I was a young witch I saw this word thrown around a lot with little to no explanation attached to it. For the sake of curious younglings I will try to articulate my own experience. But yeah, it is impossible lol. There is a reason every account is vague and in esoteric poetic language.
I've seen people use the metaphor of being torn apart and put back together. As I currently see it, it is never done. You could think of yourself as Stone trying to channel heat. You become magma. And you become a volcano overflowing forever.
I knew that it would be a violent process. But one thing I never saw mentioned was how long it takes. For me, 4 years. But! I don't think it is done.
To be initiated means to take the first step. But then there is much work to be done after. I regret that I cannot speak plainly about a lot of it.
The process for me involved... Among other things. Letting go of Christian ideals.
No more heaven and hell.
No more life and death.
No more good and evil, at least not in the way that I thought of it before.
Letting go of my ideas of what is real and what is not. That conception was completely shattered. Now we are living in the world beyond the glass.
This will not happen to everyone, of course, but I went blind! I received a small warning beforehand but did not pay attention to it.
Now, blindness is not merely a lack of sight. It is a totally different way of experiencing the world and losing a primary site totally rewires your brain over the years. You have to learn how to live through your other senses. And I think that's a really good metaphor / example for what initiation is like as a whole. You're getting rid of all your old perceptions and learning totally new way of experiencing the world. It is uncomfortable. It's bloody! It's gross. It's ugly and necessary.
I explained it to my mother as a different kind of baptism. A second life.
I think of it as a death. But it is a death that one undergoes willingly. And you say to the ether, "take all the flesh and fat of me, and leave only the holy bones. Leave what is immortal. Leave the pure substance and soul and essence of me"

.
These terms were originally posted on my original blog on March 10th, 2020. They were originally posted with different flags. Since I didn't like those flags, I remade them and reposted these terms on this blog on March 13th, 2022.
Like with MIN, FIN, etc these terms can be used as gender, orientation, etc modifiers. However I will also like to note, these specific flags CAN be used as the flags for IDINgender, UXINgender, and FLINgender.

Happy xenogender day of visibility everyone! Here’s a microlabel to celebrate.
Tumblr media
Gendercatfluid
A type of gender that feels fluid in the same way that cats are ’liquids’. This gender fits into weird places and can sink into its surroundings. It can change into seemingly any shape (gender or gender expression). It may feel aloof like a cat or excitable like a kitten. This gender is very flexible.
This gender may also be related to cats in general, making it a catgender, but not necessarily. Gendercatfluid should not be confused with caticfluid/catgenderfluid.
The purples represent fluidity, blue and pink stripes represent masculinity and femininity, yellow represents nonbinary genders, yellow-orange represents abinary genders and xenogenders, and the white-grey represents cats. The gray tint to the colors represents cat fur.
[Flag ID: A flag with 7 horizontal stripes. They are cool purple, blue-gray, white-yellow, white-gray, light yellow-orange, pink-gray, and warm purple. End ID.]
DNI in pinned post!

Pinning this here as an example of the importance of critical thinking that architects employ in the design process as we go back to the roots of site analysis to influence massing and fenestrations.
This building is a true embodiment of the firm’s name IDIN, Integrating Design Into Nature.
Footnote: AI is an amazing design tool, but humans that draw creativity from critical thinking are indispensable assets.

genderflorven | genderfaeven | genderfaunven
genderflorven: a form of genderfluidity in which one is never 100% a binary man or binary women and is primarily fluid between outherine genders
genderfaeven: a form of genderfluidity in which one is never 100% a binary man and is primarily fluid between outherine genders
genderfaunven: a form of genderfluidity in which one is never 100% a binary women and is primarily fluid between outherine genders

for anon! the flags are inspired by various genderflor-, genderfae-, and genderfaun- root terms and the outherine flag. the '-ven' suffix doesn't really mean anything, i was just trying to use something distinct from other genderflor/fae/faun terms' suffixes.

Eshed (אשד)
Tumblr media
Eshed: a culturally exclusive gender that is fluid or has fluid characteristics.
Eshed is exclusive to those who are Jewish (heritage or religion) and whose gender is fluid in some way. It can be genderfluid, genderflux, or have a fluid characteristic, such as boyflux, or fluid between alignments or gender expression.
Those who are fluid in presentation or gender roles especially fit under Eshed.
Eshed was coined by Tirednowhasablog, a reformation Jew, in May of 2021. The pride flag was designed by @themogaidragon in november 2022.
In Kabbalic belief, the son of Abram, Isaac, was born with the soul of a woman, but the body of a man. After the binding of Isaac, his soul transitioned to one of a male, to grant Abram (now Abraham) descendants. This is an interpretation that shares a similar concept to genderfluidity. The idea of gilgul ha-neshamot, or "the cycling of souls," is described as a situation where a male soul can change to a female soul, similar to the story of Isaac, and vice versa. Eshed is taken from Hebrew and means "cascade" or "waterfall," referring to how fluid genders can be chaotic, or flow freely.
