Flags for types of intersex variations

I made some pride flags for different types of intersex variations 💜 Bright versions on the right, sensory friendlier versions on the left.

Environmentally intersex: having an intersex variation caused by prenatal conditions, such as in utero exposure to diethylstilbestrol or synthetic progestins.

The flag features a placenta. The placenta icon used is by onclang and is CC BY 3.0. As such, I'm releasing this flag as CC-BY-4.0. 💜

Genetically intersex: having an intersex variation with any genetic basis! Examples include 46,XX with SRY and CAH.

The flag uses this symbol by Koson Rattanaphan and is CC BY 3.0. As such, I'm releasing this flag as CC-BY-4.0. 💜 Chromosomally intersex: having an intersex variation caused by having different sex chromosomes than 46,XX or 46,XY! Examples include Trisomy XXY and Monosomy X.

The flag depicts anaphase (the stage in mitosis when chromosomes move to opposite sides of the about-to-divide cell). Genitally intersex: being intersex and having any sort of genital variation! Examples include ambiguous genitalia, hypospadias, micropenis, labial fusion, and vaginal atresia.

The icon in the middle is based on the first diagram in this infographic on human genital development. It depicts the genital tubercule before any sexual differentiation. I chose the colours so that it would look like a combination of the 🍑 and 🍆 emojis, which made me happy 😅. This one is public domain. 💜

Pelvically intersex: being intersex and having any sort of variations of the internal sex organs! Examples include gonadal variations like ovotestes and gonadal dysgenesis, and ductal variations like Müllerian agenesis and PMDS.

The icon in the middle is based on the first diagram in this infographic about sexual differentiation, depicting both the Wolffian and Müllerian ducts with the the gonads, before any sexual differentiation happens. It's based on a CC-BY-3.0 image by Teixeira, Rueda & Pru, so this flag is also CC-BY-3.0. 💜

Hormonally intersex: being intersex and having any sort of hormonal variation. This is a new variant on the flag I made earlier this year, putting it in the ring to be like the other flags here. It is public domain.

Tomboy & femboy counterparts?

Does anyone have any terms like tomboy/mascgirl and femboy/mollygirl, but with other gender qualities?

Specifically, does anyone have terms for -

A man who presents androgynously A woman who presents androgynously A man who presents neutrally A woman who presents neutrally A man who presents xeninely A woman who presents xeninely A man who presents outherinely A woman who presents outherinely A man who presents aporine A woman who presents aporine

The closest we could find was lingirl & linboy, ningirl & ninboy, xingirl & xinboy from @dragonpride17. But even then, its missing ouin- and aporine- counterparts, and it also doesnt seem to be exclusively for presentation

My versions of the orientation flags for the split attraction model

I made these flags for the split attraction model. I wanted to have as many different orientations as possible in one conistent way for different attraction types. I did not make all of these flags but most. Some have strong similarities to existing one's but I changed some since I really wanted a consistend way of representing someone's orientation who is using the split attraction model. Most of these omni flags[link] were my reference for the different attraction types, however I already posted my omniqueerplatonic version on here and also for the alterous flag I chose a different blue tone. This will be the first post including bi, pan and poly. More will follow. For all orientations this will be the order of the flags: sexual, romantic, platonic, alterous, sensual, aesthetic and queerplatonic. The last flag is omnioriented[link] which is a label for when all of your attraction types are the same. So for example when someone is pansexual, panromantic, panplatonic, panqueerplatonic, pansensual, etc. they are omnioriented pan.

antecessors or precursors of progress flag: an exploration

everyone knows that progress pride flag uses black and brown colors from Philadelphia's pride flag plus rainbow flag colors and iteration of trans flag colors. but were there other similar flags? let's explore and see.

where does the chevron come from? the first rainbow flags with chevrons were "Pink Triangle on the hoist of a Rainbow flag" (1996) and "Rainbow Flags with white triangle" (2006 or before; need to comment that white color in this flag represents, in Japan, "those who died from hate crimes and coexistence with friendships that still resist or face suffering"). Demigay flag (2010s) uses black chevron. Maybe these were all unrelated and H. Clinton logo may influenced the direction of the chevron as well.

Victory Over AIDS flag (1980s) is a rainbow flag with black stripe, using black color to represent "living with HIV/AIDS, and those lost to it". This meaning is also used in Progress flag, along signifying BPoC people/Blackness. there are also flags that use black stripe in the middle to represent Black people, likely based on Raquel Willis' design (2015).

white stripe is also seen in Love Fest (São Paulo) 9-striped diversity flag (2018). BLM fist and raised fist are also seen in QPOC flags since 2016 (also QTPOC), along with different shades of brown and black skin colors.

trans flag colors were also seen in rainbow flags or flag combos since at least the middle of 2010s.

Trixamoric Pride Flag

Trixamoric: a label for suptilic lesbian women; a monorose (monoromantic monosexual) allorose (alloromantic allosexual) aptobinary woman exclusively attracted to other binary women, but not attracted to men; perioriented homorose (homorantic homosexual) fiaspec suptilian.

I made this flag around August 2020, along with toramoric flag. Similar colors are seen in wifamoric and pluralian sapphic flags, plus more combos I posted that I can't remember exactly whose. The prefix trix- comes from trixenamoric, without -en-. See also: lilaen; faunic, daunic; femino- (feminosexual/feminoromantic).

Valopronominal/Alter-Language Pronouns

Valopronominal, also called alterlanguage pronouns (alterlingual), interlinguistic non-conformity (interlingual), cross-language grammatical other gender, or multi-linguistic gender disconnect, is when someone will change their pronouns in conjunction to their language or use different grammatical genders across languages. For example, using ella/la (feminine pronoun) in Spanish and they/them in English; using Arabic neopronouns [such as زي (ze/zie/xe/sie), كو (co), إي (ey)] and on (he) in Polish/Croatian.

It's not commented in the sources. It seems that interlanguage nonconforming is inherently a term subset of PNC (pronoun nonconformity, or language non-conforming - LNC), while alter language pronouns or crosslanguage grammatical gender is a descriptor referring to a situation or experiences that are not necessarily desired or voluntary, such as multilingual people who speak a genderless language and a gendered language, for example.

Disclaimers: using neopronouns are in most cases inherently inter-language nonconforming, once most of the time they are untranslatable (eg. thon/thons from Romanian/English to Spanish). There are few exceptions though, such as (s)he or s/he (English) versus el·la [el/la, Spanish] versus el(a) [Galician] versus el@/êla/éle/elæ (Portuguese)/⠑⠇⠱/⠣⠇⠁/⠿⠇⠑ (Braille); inanimates such as ono (Polish/Croatian)/оно (Russian/Serbian)/воно (Ukrainian) versus it (in English) versus ello (Spanish) versus ilo/elo (Portuguese) versus det (Danish/Swedish/Norwegian) versus illud (Latin); elx (Portuguese/Romanian) versus ellx (Spanish/Catalan); and Arabic زي versus English ze (though it's inconsistent since it can be transliterated or respelled the same as zie/xe). Despite debatable whether it/its is a neopronoun in English, ilo and elo are certainly neopronouns in Portuguese. For singular they versus epicene neopronouns interlingually, such as elle (Spanish), iel (French), onu/они (Polish/Russian), dey (German), I'm not sure. It's also not said if it includes using only he/him or only she/her in English versus languages with genderless pronouns (such as Basque, Hungarian, Turkish, Guarani, Bantu, Persian, Cebuano, Finnish), or specific cases such as Chinese, Cherokee, Korean, Japanese, or SignWriting (sign language writing).

Wyvegender Pride Flags

Wyvegender: an idingender identity in which one’s gender is fluid between two or more genders that are neither male nor female. The genders that one is fluid between can be any genders and any amount of genders; however, none of these genders have any connection to masculinity or femininity at all.
