Dream of the Endless x Wayne!Reader, Bruce Wayne & Sister!Reader

Summary: You confront Bruce with the fact that he hasn't been sleeping, and his eye twitches as the mention of Dream. He does not enjoy the nagging so much that he sleeps out of spite, willing a gun in his thoughts as he did so.

Warnings: Sibling arguments, angry delirious & sleep deprived!Bruce, angst ig, briefest mentions of injury, girl please idk if i have to keep saying there is no incest in this but i will because if any of you come with that I will riot, typos, etc.

Bruce grunts, holding the strained part of his ribcage as he walks over to his computer chair.

His chair then swivels unexpectedly which makes him freeze. He grunts at what he sees, tension leaving him quickly, "get off my chair."

"You mean," I look at his injured face and torn suit, "the chair I bought because you lost 2 inches of your height after hunching over for days."

I narrow my eyes as he walks over to me.

"Yes, yes, thank you," he says, grabbing me then unceremoniously ripping me off his spot where he heavily plops down.

I groan at his actions, eye twitching at the sound of his quick typing. I do not pullback my punch on his arm, which causes a loud thud to echo in the bat cave along with his whine.

Bruce snaps to me and screams my name out in annoyance and anger.

"Dream told me you have not been sleeping for two weeks!"

At once, he shoots up, peering down at me angrily.

I am not in the slightest intimidated, "he said he's been anticipating you but you have not-"

"Do you and your boyfriend have nothing better to talk about?"

I roll my eyes, "besides the fact you've clearly not been listening to all the times I've chastised you for not going to bed-"

Bruce scoffs.

"-you've also not been listening to my stories about my relationship with Dream."

His eye twitches before he turns away and sits back down, "and why would I care about your relationship with him."

"Well, for starters he's not my boyfriend, we're taking it slow after he proposed again, but you obviously don't even-."

"Mmm, no, I know. It's a wise decision of a fool to go about with no labels with a man who clearly-"

Bruce does not get to continue when I kick his chair roughly and he shoots away to the other side of the room, office chair wheels whirring.

He calls my name out again but I ignore him and I begin to type away on his computer.

He is standing behind me when the profile pops up on screen: Dream of the Endless, a subfolder of Death, Delirium, ??? is attached.

I glare up at him and cross my arms, "maybe instead of sleuthing like a moron, you can just as me, ask him about whatever it is you need to know."

"The moron sleuth talks herself," Bruce presses the Esc button, "I know everything I need to know about your not boyfriend, little girl."

"You are," I pinch my fingers together tightly, "insufferable!"

"Clearly, it's genetic."

I shove him away, knowing well he was injured underneath his armor, and storm off.

Just then, Alfred, who was holding a tray of medical equipment freezers. I give him a look as I leave, "let him suffer, Alfred."

"Yes, I have withheld the pain killers, ma'am."

Bruce only turns to Alfred when he hands him a pill bottle.

"You should listen to your sister for once."

He looks at the sleeping pills in Alfred's grip and feels his pulse quicken. His eye begins to twitch, "fine," he grabs it, "I have business I need to discuss with her not boyfriend anyway."

Alfred sighs deeply.

Dream senses him the moment he made it to the Dreaming.

"Bruce," the king of Dreams greets the elder Wayne with a soft smile, "I am glad to finally have-"

The sound of a gun cocking stops him.

The two stare at each other for a long moment.

Bruce's breathing is taxed, his arm is shaking, his eyes were blown. He was severely fatigued, even in his dreams, because that was how he was projecting himself.

Dream narrows his eyes at him, "you think you can harm me in my realm?"

"No, but it will get my point across," Bruce mutters and begins shooting. Though there is a sound of gunshots, instead of bullets, cherry candies fall to the ground, the exact one Wayne the younger absolutely adores.

Bruce twitches at the sight of it and throws the gun at Dream. It turns into a butterfly midway.

Dream allows him to charge at him. He is grabbed by the collar, shaken angrily by Bruce, but he only looks at him blankly.

"You know damn well why I don't sleep," he seethes, "you are the one that wills these nightmares into my mind to torment me."

"I do not will nightmares to torment you any more than I do anyone else."

"So, you think you are so just with your cruelty?"

"You think yourself so clever, but you would not understand my mind anymore than ant could."

"Oh, but I know you well enough," Bruce clenches his Dream's collar, grip shaking in anger, "my nightmares have changed ever since you started messing around with my sister."

Dream's expression barely falters, but it does not matter, he caught it. Bruce caught him.

He shoves him off, but he does not budge. Bruce pulls away, finally finding it in himself to gather some composure.

"You care for her a great deal-"

"She's my sister."

"-and I am not trying to steal her from you."

Bruce narrows his eyes, "you cannot steal her from me because she does not belong to me."

"Then I am not trying to steal your moments with her," Dream rephrases.

Bruce looks at him for a moment. A butterfly flutters between them.

"It would surprise you to know that your will dictates your own dreams as much as mine," Dream says, placing his hands behind his back, "I had meant to give you a peaceful dream but you dreamt it all on your own."

Bruce freezes.

Dream watches him intently.

"The dream at the toy shop."

"Yes."

"... that wasn't you?"

"No."

Bruce could not stop himself form knitting his brows deeply, feeling his throat constrict along with his chest.

"You are too hard on yourself, Bruce," Dream says, pulling a toy robot from behind him, "too hard on your sister."

Bruce doesn't take it. He only stares at the outdated thing and allows tears to fall from his eyes.

"Sleeping regularly will allow you not to be."

"Don't tell me what to do, old man," Bruce eyes him darkly, "my father's dead, and you sure as hell won't act like mine."

Batman clenches his jaw tightly, scrutinizing his sister's preference in the Endless, "and stay out of my dreams."

Lord Morpheus feels the boy struggle with himself.

Bruce abruptly wakes up, tense in his bed. He relaxes when he realizes he successfully woke himself up.

1. Do you prefer writing one-shots or multi-chaptered fics?

it depends. I usually have my multi-chapterdd fics already done before posting them, so in my head they are stored as one shots. I know, weird. anyway...

I think oneshots are easier for me bc it's all fix and I don't get the urge to want to go back and change things. but I'm trying out the chaptered way with Timeloop and I can fix him (no really I can) and we'll see how I like it... but I'm only doing it like that bc idk how long they'll be and I wanted to post something and not wait months for them to be done before I post it all.

2. Do you plan each chapter ahead or write as you go?

I usually write as I go. I have a few points that I have to get to but I let it flow, let the characters choose their path to make it feel more natural when things go down.

3. Describe the creative process of writing a chapter/fic

I usually have something in my head that needs to happen and then I sit down when I feel like I'll be able to write it and just try.

I don't always look for playlists but sometimes it helps to listen to my sex playlist for smut or my falling in love playlist for slowburns or something.

I mostly just let inspiration hit me ig, idk how to explain it 😭

4. Where do you find inspiration for new ideas?

songs, tv shows, movies, other written work (books or stuff I read on here) my dreams... anything really. a lot of times it's just daydreaming.

5. Do you like constructive criticism?

yes, I love it, I get way too little of it.

as long as you are being respectful please tell me off lol, especially when it comes to grammar and sentence structures bc I'm not native in English and I'll be happy to learn and change things when you tell ne that something is wrong.

6. Do you have your work beta'd? How important is this to your process?

I tried beta-ing one of my fics with my friends, but life gets in the way and they didn't have much time to read and give me feedback, so I decided to not do it for whole fics anymore and just sporadically

7. How do you choose which POV to write from?

ig that fully depends on how the scene feels to me. I once got halfway in a chapter and had to rewrite the whole thing bc I realized it didn't make much sense to tell it from that pov and not the other. and now it feels so much more natural than before. but that is just as much trial and error at times as everything else.

8. Do you prefer the beginning, middle, or end of a story?

i don't really have a preference there. for some fics I can very clearly see the middle, but not the end or beginning, for others I see the start and end but not the in between and it gets a bit messy on the way. but all in all I'd say I'm just happy to be allowed to be there as these stories play in my head and that I get to write them down is even better.

9. Do you comment on stories you read?

yes, usually on ao3 on tumblr if I like it enough I'll reblog it, if I love it I reblog with comments or tags, that depends on my daily mood tho.

10. Cltr+f "blinks" on your WIP & copy paste the first sentence/paragraph that comes up

“What?” I cleared my throat and blinked a few times to get my mind cleared up.

12. how does receiving or not receiving feedback/support impact you?

a good feedback makes my day, literally

not getting any or getting barely any likes and no reblogs on my work, especially when it's something I've worked hard on, it's devastating really. I wish there was more appreciation for it, but I can't do much about it either.

13. what’s a common writing tip that you almost always follow?

writer's block isn't really an issue to me anymore. when I have time to write but my mind blocks I'll just start writing anything and when it's shit I put it to the side and write something else or if I'm working on a chapter and it won't flow I go into a new document and try and write the chapter again from scratch and see how it goes. always in a new doc tho when I do that so I don't use anything I've written.

14. how do you write emotional scenes? Do you ever feel what the characters feel? Do you draw from personal experiences?

okay, I write them, especially sad ones, when I myself am already sad af so I can exactly describe the bodily bs that happens to me when I'm sad

I do feel how they feel, especially when I later go to edit it, and then I have to take a break bc I'll start crying again lol

I mostly draw from personal experience when it gets to emotions, especially sad ones, bc it's just easier ig. it's waaay easier for me to write angst and hurt/comfort than anything else bc most of my life has been filled with those rather than fluff or even smut (idk how I write that, bc there's no experience there...)

15. How do you write smut scenes? Do you get very visual or detailed? How important is it to be realistic?

I try my best to keep it visually accurate, like, so you can try and imagine it bc I hate when I read something and go "wait, how did they end up here?" yk? and I think it should have some sort of realism to it. but I can't really be 100% accurate bc I only know my own body and whatever I've seen online. I don't trust porn obvs bc it's not really reliable when it comes to normal sizes and shit (iykwim) but it does help with figuring out some of the positions. that's literally the only reason I look at it too, for research purposes 💀

16. How many fic ideas are you nurturing right now? Share one of them?

2 that are being posted (timeloop and icfhnric)

15 that are just ideas (listen, my head never stands still)

1 that is like my heart child, and I'm scared to let it go but I will eventually

17. What do you do when writing becomes difficult? (maybe a lack of inspiration or writers block)

a complete lack of inspiration hasn't really happened to me yet, and I'm scared of the day it will. what I do have issues with is the type of writers block where I wanna write but my head feels too overwhelmed or too tired to process any thoughts so I'll see the fic in my head but my brain won't let me form sentences to put it on the screen. I've yet to figure out how to deal with that.

18. Do you title your fics before, during, or after the writing process? How do you come up with titles?

song inspired ones are always named after the song, so that's easy

anything else is either a good line that I discovered while writing or a quick quip that I came up with, most times during the end of it.

I still don't have proper titles for my Lovebirds fic, I have one for the second installment of it, but the other three are still only under their working title and I don't know if I'll even give the first one a title or if it'll just be "Before Lovebirds" which is bs and I hate it but idk what else to name it... (although that part has been done for months now)

19. What is the most-used tag on your ao3?

smut... lol I haven't used any funny tags yet

20. Have you noticed any patterns in your fics? Words/expressions that appear a lot, themes, common settings, etc?

I use "just" way too much. and I keep starting sentences with And a lot. and I feel like once I find a bew word I'll keep using it until my brain grows bored of it.

21. Would you ever collaborate with another writer for a story?

definitely, if they wanted to.

22. Are there certain types of writing you won’t do? (style, pov, genre, tropes, etc)

I don't think I'm a dark romance girlie. I'm never gonna write mlm smut, because I just don't think it's my place to do that.

23. Best writing advice for other writers?

use placeholders for words you can't pinpoint, I usually go like this [walking slowly, dragging feet] and then I look up a synonym

when you get an idea, put it down, you'll think you're gonna remember later but you won't

24. Worst writing advice anyone ever gave you?

to put chapter contents down in a pointed list instead of writing it out immediately

25. What fic do you wish you got more of a response on?

the It's... complicated one bc I worked hard on it and it's probably my best work yet imo

idk, some days I write so much and others I don't at all, so maybe 500-800 days on average daily

first I do grammar checks, then I reread and see if the words are correct. most times I do the big parts of editing while writing bc I noticed that that's easier for me

I usually wait until it's polished, unless it's something I would have deleted from a bigger fic and don't want it to go to waste.

that they don't need to be redeemable, I'd much rather keep some villains for true evil and not because they had a bad childhood or whatever

I try to write about how it affects the person who's pov it is, their emotions and physical sensations. I don't like dragging it out too much tho unless it's a big moment, like a first kiss.

37. How do you choose where to end a chapter?

I tend to do cliffhangers quite a lot bc I'm just prone to that bc of my love of television. but usually I end on a moment that feels like a natural stop while writing or sometimes I write without chapters in mind and when I add them later I make stops in between where it feels like the reading flow could stop and be picked up, but then I make sure that the chapters aren't too short or too long still

38. Would you ever write commissions?

oh definitely, I already take prompts and idk if it counts but I did write two private commissions for a friend in return for some art of my favorite character a scribble of my oc

“I don't want you to feel any pressure to do anything,” he brushed a few hair from my face and I nodded. “You're my dream girl, [redacted].” He pulled me closer into him, nuzzling his head into my neck and breathing lower. “My pretty girl.” I placed a kiss on his head and listened to his shallow breaths as I fell asleep. “Love you too,” I whispered while drifting off and hoping that he hadn't actually heard me.

40. If someone were to make fanart of your work, what fic or scene would you hope to see?

I have a very specific scene in my head, but it not in the fic, it's only mentioned as a picture that they took and have set as their background picture. so to see that come to life would be incredible.

but I don't really have a preference other than that, when I write I see it all play out in my head like a movie scene so literally any moment can work as long as I described it well enough. and if needed I would go and give a lengthy description of every single detail if someone wabted me to

41. Do you tend to reread fics or are you a one-and-done kind of person?

I reread a lot! it's part of how I try and get better at my work (apart from reading published books)

I especially reread a lot of my lovebirds fic so I can get back into writing when I haven't had worked on it in a while

The Charter by @blueicequeen19 and I'd tell the whole world to read it because it's just that good

43. Do you take a sadistic joy in whumping your characters, or are you more the "If you hurt them I would kill everyone and then myself" kind of person?

I whump too much tbh. like, especially my OC has had so much pain already in her life, but I feel like a few set backs are normal and it wouldn't feel natural to me if everything was just happy and perfect akl the time. to me these characters are people and people are messy by default.

I'm still very protective of them tho, and I wouldn't let any body go and fuck them other unless it has a purpose of some kind, either for the bad guy or them.

44. What mistakes do you keep making no matter how many times your beta corrects you?

I keep writing my when I mean me and vice versa, that's just a typing issue tho. I forgot prepositions and "the"s a lot. idk how to do comma shit. and I keep catching myself writing bearly instead of barely. bc they sound the same and I'm also dyslexic 😔

45. Do you want to break your readers‘ heart or make them laugh?

both if I can. but a part of me wants to know that I'm capable of making someone cry their eyes out. that feels pretty powerful to me bc I don't really cry too much when I read or watch something myself.

46. How would you describe your style? (Character/emotion/action-driven, etc)

emotions primarily ig, then characters. ig those two are very neatly intertwined bc most of the decisions they make are based on emotions or on the fact that they try to not let their emotions control them.

at least two times. even when I say it's not edited, I at least read it twice to get most mistakes out.

that they are native English speaker probably, but I don't really do betas at the moment

I've never gotten one and if I would I'd probably just block the person and try to forget about it.

primarily I write, I'd say 65/35 writing to reading ratio of the time I use on fanfic

being able to put the vision that I have in my head on screen, being allowed to use as much or as little details as I wish to. but most of all the fact that I know more about the whole narrative than the characters in it, the fact that I know when they are being unreliable or are lying to themselves or just don't know better.

55. Of the characters you write for, which is your favorite? Has that choice been swayed at all by your followers/readers’ reactions to certain ones?

I'm definitely a JJ girlie, I'll always be even tho I noticed that people are more into Rafe...

56. What’s something about your writing that you pride yourself on?

a friend of mine keeps asking how the fuck I write so much and I honestly don't know. I just do. and I personally always feel like anything below 2k is not enough but I don't try to drag things out too much just to get more words in. so maybe that's it.

57. Do you prefer editing as you write, or waiting until it’s finished?

while writing for sure because it just makes the whole process faster than if I did it the other way round. but it took some time for me to get to the point where my in-writing editing makes the post-writing editing almost obsolete

58. What part of the writing process do you enjoy the most? (Brainstorming, outlining, writing, editing, etc)

writing for the most part. but I also love researching stuff.

59. Does anyone in your personal life know you write fic? if not, would you tell anyone?

only my friends. I wouldn't tell my parents and I'm glad they don't understand English bc if they did and found this blog I wouldn't be allowed to leave the house forever or they'd kick me out. which is ridiculous bc I'm an adult :'(

60. Have you had a writer you admire comment on your fic? What was that like?

yeah and it was the best feeling ever. makes me happy just thinking about it.

61. Why do you continue writing fics?

simply because I love writing and I choose to write for myself, not for anyone else. that's also why some prompts stay in my inbox for longer, because I need to find the right moment where I am content with writing it in a way that makes me feel happy about what I created.

62. Thoughts on cliffhangers?

love love love. can't get enough of them. use them all the time.

63. Something you hate to see in smut.

personally, I have mommy and daddy issues, so seeing it being sexualized is always weird to me. but I try to look past it and even when I write it bc it fits the character, it's still weird to me. but I would never tell anyone to not write it. I know a lot of ppl enjoy it a lot. it's just not my personal piece of cake.

another thing, which is just formatting ig, is when there's no warnings list. I think it's important to put at least a warnings list, especially for smut.

64. Something you love to see in smut.

aftercare. always. Even if it's just a quick scene of them lying in bed or something and just being soft with each other or talking about random things to cool down. I think it's really important.

65. Tell us about what you’re most looking forward to writing – in your current project, or a future project

right now I'm looking extremely heavily towards kinktober and starting on those projects and then seeing people read them in October.

I'm also super hyped over my oc lore bc I recently had a big breakthrough with the help of a friend, and now everything I had before makes so much more sense. it feels like I had always had known but the information was hidden and now I have it and I can see a crystal clear picture of her life and the life of her parents and grandparents and basically the whole family past and possible future.

66. How do you deal with writing pressure (ie. pressure to update, negative comments, deadlines, etc.)?

I hate it. I'm trying to not let it get to me, I can only write when my brain let's me. But I do know that no matter how long it takes I will finish started projects.

67. Do you prefer prompts and challenges, or completely independent ideas?

I don't mind either. I love when it's a prompt or challenge that gives me creative freedom. like just a sentence or a single word prompt with a character is top notch bc I can go crazy on it all I want.

68. What, if anything, do you do for inspiration?

I listen to music mostly, sometimes tiktoks inspire me too. It's really anything that can give me inspiration.

69. What work of yours, if any, are you the most embarrassed about existing?

the ghostface one. I don't even know why I posted it, but I'm not gonna delete it bc I think it's important for ppl to see the progress you made over time.

70. When asked, are you embarrassed or enthusiastic to tell people that you write?

depends on the person. if it's my friends who I hold near and dear I'm not really embarrassed at all. I sometimes talk too much about writing and think I annoy them with it, but they always say it's okay so I guess I should believe them.

I think it's needs some type of connection and mutual respect for me to even be able to talk about it, so I wouldn't really talk to someone who I think would nake me feel embarrassed.

71. When it comes to more complicated narratives, how do you keep track of outlines, characters, development, timeline, ect.?

I only put down dates, the rest is more or less stored in my brain. unless I write lore down somewhere for someone to read and give me feedback. then I take that and put it in a separate lore doc but I wouldn't really need to bc, like I said, mostly my brain will remember lore

72. What order do you write in? front of book to back? chronological? favorite scenes first? something else?

when I started writing I did chronological, then I started to jump in between but that caused a lot of fuck ups and I couldn't remember what happened where, so I decided to rewrite my whole fic chronologically before posting it.

for prompts or just stuff that I post on here I always do linear/chronological if the narrative let's me

73. What do you think makes your writing stand out from other works?

I don't really know. I guess I use a few phrases and words more than others would, and sometimes my sentences sound very german bc that's my native tongue. but those don't show up to me as mistakes when editing bc to my brain the sentences structure makes sense. that's probably all, but I don't really know.

74. You’ve posted a fic anonymously. How would someone be able to guess that you’d written it?

maybe if they are familiar with my writing style, with the way I use certain words only in certain situations. or how I nickname some of the characters.

“First, promise to answer me honestly. I don’t know whether to trust you anymore, but I want to. I want to trust you, Tae.” You reassured him. He nodded, and his right hand trailed over to your left, fingers just barely grazing yours.

“I’ll answer honestly. I promise.”

“Do you mean it? When you say you still love me? Is that… why you tried to help? Or do you just not want another death on your conscience?” You asked, your frame getting smaller and your confidence wavering as your shoulders caved in slightly. You felt like you were a deer in the headlights, unsure of what his answer might be. 

“Why do you ask that when I said I did?” He asked softly, “I wouldn’t lie about that.” Hearing his honest answer made your heart clench. He really hadn’t changed.

A smile graced your face for the first time since you had woken up. Taehyun adored the sight.

“I missed you.” You hummed, surveying your hospital room properly for the first time, “How long am I gonna be stuck in this room? Cause I’m not gonna let 1 bullet jeopardise my career— that’s absurd.” You said it completely seriously. 

Taehyun started laughing and you couldn’t figure out why. You hadn’t said anything with the intent of being funny.

“Why are you laughing?”

“It’s a relieved laugh…” He spoke gently, “I’m so glad to have you back.”

You looked at him as if he had gone crazy, “Just because I’m in a hospital bed doesn’t mean you get to be all lovey dovey and gross on me. I will still hit you.”

“That’s not fair.” He pouted slightly, and you smacked him lightly on the shoulder. “That wasn’t as hard as I was expecting.” He murmured in a teasing tone, ducking quickly when you raised an eyebrow as if offering him another hit.

“I’m just joking. I’m in no condition to fight anyways.” You said sadly, staring daggers at the IV needle hooked up to your arm and bandages wrapped tightly around your torso. 

“You’ll be out of here soon,” Taehyun assured, and you sighed, looking over at him. 

“You look worse than me,” You quipped, tousling his blond hair slightly, “Have you eaten since I was shot?” You asked, your worry growing when he didn’t respond, “Have you drunk water?” Still no answer.

You shook your head slightly, tsking at his choices and pressing the call button. The nurse rushed in immediately, thinking there was a problem with you and that you needed emergency treatment or something.

“Nurse… Kim.” You said, trying to read her tiny name tag from 12 feet away, “Before you freak out, nothing is wrong. I’m actually fine.” You said, giving her a quick thumbs up from your position, “But this guy here,” You placed your hand on Tae’s head, ignoring his glare from you messing up his hair again, “He has made some questionable choices. You can get some food and water for him, right?” 

The nurse nodded, very confused but your assuring smile seemed to convince her that you really were fine. Once the nurse left, Taehyun opened his mouth, probably to protest, but you wouldn’t allow it.

“Tae, your lips and cheeks have almost no colour, and you look like you haven’t slept in days. No offence, cause you know I think you’re still hot, but you look awful.” You said pointedly, a small smile growing on your face as his mouth shut again. He couldn’t argue with that if he tried. You were right, after all.

He hadn’t eaten a proper meal since he was in the hotel before the mission, which was several days ago. And water had become a small priority while he had waited anxiously for you to wake up for 3 days. He had only taken tiny sips when he could spare it, and even then he didn’t really want it. His lack of sleep was the most obvious, and you were bewildered as to how he had stayed awake for this long.

The nurse came back quickly with bowls of steaming food and a couple water bottles placed on a tray. She set it down on the side table, turning back to you two, glancing down at Tae’s hand that was still clutching yours tightly with a smile, “Your boyfriend wouldn’t leave your side for the three days you were out. He looked like he wanted to knock me clean dead when I suggested that showering and putting on a fresh change of clothes might make him feel better, but I convinced him eventually.”

Taehyun looked down, squeezing your hand a little tighter. He wouldn’t focus on anything else except you, and he was completely ignoring the food and water. You thanked the nurse and she left the room. Once she did, Taehyun looked up again.

“Eat.” You said sternly, removing your hand from his to cross it over your chest. He didn’t protest since you had told him to, he picked up the tray and started eating.

“Is it any good?” You whispered, having laid down on your side, your head now resting comfortably on the pillow so you could still look at Tae. He nodded, eagerly gathering some rice and soup on the spoon to give to you. He blew on it carefully, making sure it wouldn’t burn your mouth before feeding you.

You stifled a laugh, looking away from him even though you found Taehyun’s focus on this little task to be adorable. The food was good, for hospital food anyway. It brought back some life into you, but it made you drowsier than before.

Taehyun finished the meal, picking up the tray to go wash it at the sink in the corner of the room. You watched him because you didn’t have anything else to do, but you felt your eyelids starting to close. You kept them open until Taehyun came back over. With your hand grabbing his wrist, you carefully scooted over on the bed to make room for him and tugged slightly, urging him to lie down next to you.

He was hesitant, “Are you sure there’s enough room? Won’t you be uncomfortable?” 

You shook your head, “I just want to sleep,” You mumbled drearily, “with you.” You added, pulling his wrist again. He gave in easily, just like he always did. He just wanted to do whatever you wanted since you were the one recovering.

You closed your eyes once your head rested comfortably on his chest. It was such a welcome position to be in after so long. You hadn’t realised how much you missed it until now.

“Are you comfortable?” He asked, his hand brushing your hair back softly.

“Very.” You placed your hand on his chest, right where his heart was. It was racing. You really did still affect him the same way.

You fell asleep faster than you ever had, probably a combination of the medication and your beaten up body resulting in low energy and fatigue. Taehyun glanced over at your face once he felt your breath deepen. You looked so calm— like you had just brushed off the fact that you had been shot just days before. He pressed a lingering kiss to your forehead before drifting off to sleep as well.

10 months later.

“We should get the strawberry ones, cause they look like hearts.” Taehyun said, smiling.

“But the marshmallow ones are bunnies-”

“But the strawberry one will be tastier.”

“But-”

“And it has a higher nutritional value.”

You groaned, “Fine, we’ll get the strawberry ones.” You brought two of them up to the counter and paid them along with the two drinks. Now it was time to go to the rooftop. 

Taehyun was all smiles and sparkling eyes as he arranged the food and flowers on the ground where you would sit. You didn’t let it show too much, but you loved going on dates like this. Making it as cliche and heart-meltingly romantic as possible fit so well with your boyfriend… and secretly you as well.

The contrast between Taehyun right now and Taehyun when on the job was jarring. He was in a soft t-shirt and wide-legged blue jeans, his hair blowing softly in the wind, plus you had managed to tuck a flower behind his ear. But just 3 days ago he was suited up in his gear, intimidating and scary-looking. Other people would find it weird, but you found it charming.

You sat down beside him once he had set everything up, pulling him close by the waist and pressing a chaste kiss to his lips. He giggled, picking up one of the little strawberry cheesecakes and taking a bite.

Everything seemed perfect and beautiful. Just you and him.

You talked and ate, all the while you rested your chin on his shoulder and fiddled with the small diamond ring on your left ring finger. You couldn't wait to see Taehyun with a matching one. You kissed his cheek as he was saying something, making him pause and look at you.

He hummed, raising his eyebrows softly.

“Just a kiss. That’s all I want.” You breathed. He joined his lips to yours again in a kiss - long and sweet and perfect.

Until it got interrupted. 

Taehyun’s phone rang, then yours did as well. You were forced to pull apart, both answering the calls simultaneously. You glanced at Tae. He looked at you. He nodded. You smiled.

You hung up, cracking your knuckles and jumping up, “Time to go, I suppose.” You grinned, packing up the lunch quickly and heading back to the company building. It was time for another mission.

Tatsou and her older sister, Raine lived in a small village northern from the location of final selection. Raine lived in a rather poor family as they didn't have much. Her father being a common thief and the mother being a saint. Raine has a sister named Tatsou Chizaku who is 2 years younger. When Raine(7) and Tatsou(5) were younger. Their father taught Raine how to steal food and jewelry. Which caused them to be looked down on. Months after a demon attacked which led to the death of Raine's parents.

Tatsou was then raised by her sister Raine. Raine did most of the stealing foods and stuff for survival while tatsou was either the distraction or off to the side. Once when Raine and tatsou were going to 'borrowing' food, the owner of the shop caught her and was gonna punish her. One night a demon attacked the village causing everyone to panic. Tatsou was separated from Raine and almost was attacked by the demon. Luckily a demon slayer came before it could and blocked Tatsou before killing it off. Tat was so appreciative after the lovely demon slayer brought her back to Raine and ever since then wanted to be a demon slayer.

Tatsou has always been fascinated in Dragons and always went to collect lizards. One day when she was catching a lizard she saw 3 swords on the back of a river where demon slayers were bathing. Tatsou being the angel she was.... Took the swords when they weren't looking and ran off with them to show Raine.

Tatsou is a 16 year old, 5'5 Kinoe Ranked demon slayer. Her breathing style is Dragon breathing that she made herself. Like her sister she has very strong bones, mainly in her legs and arms as that's where she mainly trains.

She mainly focuses on agility and wisdom making her battle IQ very high as well as her flexibility, and movements. She fights in a style like The lion dance as well as basic Katana fighting ig?..... Tatsou has amazing spatial awareness meaning it's hard to sneak up to her and she can sense a demon around the area she is in

(like the police man from rainy and a chance of meatballs/j)

Disadvantage; to many demons can over welm her and if she were to work with anyone like Genya and Nezuko she would accidentally almost attack them because she would mentally process they are not on her side before she sees them

Tatsou is a duals welder except the 'chips' on her sword are actually there to cut down trees or collect wood (cause she is broke AF)

Tatsou, instead of having a crow, has a lahore pigeon because despite being amazingly gifted with spatial awareness she gets lost very easily. She went in a circle for 5 days of the 7 days during final selection

Unlike her sister, Tatsou is more loud, aggressive and very straight forward when it comes to things. She isn't afraid to speak her mind about topics no matter who you are.

1/ gabriel spend time with his girlfriend and guess who’s mad about it? the whole team is upset because he has less time to train now; but the first to react and who feel the strongest about it is still tag

2/ BEN IS BACK (dude tag had a visible crush on in s1) and he’s the only one that looks happy about it and they break away from the rest of the group to talk one on one, ben listening to tag’s problems and offering advices. bonus points because tag doesn’t ask any of his teammates for advices (not his bestie or his girlfriend)

3/ they bond over them both being the captain of their teams, the difficulties in the responsability... and tag reacts a bit too strongly when ben says he has to go home now, asking (sounding way too desperate, boy, come on) him to stay a bit longer. the WHOLE vibe when they were talking alone felt incredibly soft from tag’s side and you could explain it as just nostalgia and being happy to see a friend after a long time... expect they weren’t friends but rivals! and ben clearly doesn’t feel the same way i’m so embarrassed for tag

4/ his BEST FRIEND notice how sullen he’s been in the 2 hours since ben left... this boy is yearning for real

5/ ben replace one of their players in a match but because the rest of the team hates him it goes poorly (hmmm sounds familiar) then they hear a rumor that he’s the one behind tag’s accident and they all get mad at him, not giving him time to explain... expect tag. who refuse to believe it and puts his faith in ben. he was, of course, right about that, but in this situation he had no reason to believe ben (the guy has a really bad reputation) yet didn’t hesitate A SECOND wow... that sure is something

6/ the trutst at least is reciprocal because when tag, in the middle of the match, orders ben to do something, he just nods and do so without the need for an explanation or getting annoyed (like some of the other players) and i didn’t expect it as they’re both captains and so could butthead about who’s in charge and ben having a strong personality... it was nice. THEN ben gives advice on how to play and this time it’s tag who decide to put his pride aside as captain and follow him. you see slight hesitation on his face but he does it anyway. IT’S HUGE idk what to tell you, tag can be really stubborn in his bad decisions and gets mad really fast when things don’t go his way so wow again!

7/ listen... i can’t even explain this one cause you need the visuals but. tag trust ben with an insane move, where ben could easily let go at the worst time and hurt him. and he does so while SMILING. not a once of doubt for this boy in his mind. HIS EX-NEMESIS. there would be no story without weirdly earnest 13 y/o gay boys, i’m emotional over this (and laughing cause it was an incredible visual; it’s at the end of ep 4 ig you’re curious about it)

8/ someone is rude to tag’s gf and he doesn’t react to it, even when she’s visibly upset and leave the room because of this, he just ignores her

9/ gabriel gets an opportunity, education wise, that means he will leave the team at the start of next year. and tag is not doing well. the rest of the team is cheering on gab, while tag exit the scene looking all sad... and emotional music starts playing while he looks on the horizon... next a flashback of their moments together the two of them... and tag cries all alone

it makes sense because they’ve known each other their whole life(?)(or most) and are very close but damn. in comparizon gabriel isn’t at all bothered, due to being more rational (this does not mean they won’t see each other again) and riding the high of such big news. really makes you feel for tag

anyway, back on gay reading; it gives tag another reason to be more heartborken over this compared to gab

10/ HE FEELS SO BAD that he has no motivation to play the tournament and even SAYS SO openly to his teammates, i quote “without gabriel there’s no point”. there have been times when other players were at ricks of leaving the team and while annoyed, tag never reacted this badly to it before

holy shit he’s crying in front of everyone this time... they were trying to comfort him with “people leave sometimes, then they come back” and “you should be happy for him as his bestie” but it had the opposite effect on making tag feel like he’s being a shitty friend and he cannot hold back his tears... everyone is shocked of seeing him like this

11/ wasn’t gonna note this one cause it’s not that serious but then shit kept happening. this ep has tag being sick and he elects jeremy as his replacement (as team captain) which makes everyone go “uuuh” cause jeremy is so not made for the post. he fucks it up, of course, and ends up all alone until tag gets better. the team complains about him and tag is the only one who stays behind him the whole time (a bit like with ben... hmm)(tag sure easily relate to the type of guys who are in constant danger of being rejected). the “not serious” part is that at some point jeremy come to tag about the whole situation and they stare at each other smiling while using language that, in french, sounds very romantic (even if the context isn’t)(jeremy “t’es pas mal” tag “t’es pas mal non plus”)(literal “you’re not bad” context being the sport + social thing BUT the very common use of this phrase means finding someone attractive, and i laughed because... a second later tag is on his knees in front of jeremy, his hands on the boy legs. the body language and double meaning is really intense for a scene that should be just “i got your back” like what am i supposed to do with this?)

12/ jeremy complains about his relationship with samira for 2 seconds and tag first reaction is to shut him up with “that’s none of my buisness” which is weird for him as he’s usually there for his friends and chill about romance talk... well, when he’s not interested in the dude talking about it, that is

Yes. I wasn't too bad at it actually.

ok so in aecervan there are a couple major religions (other than atheism ofc) which are each revolving around a real concept, them being:

1-magic (practiced a lot but in secret cuz its forbidden)

2-polytheism (the second biggest one)

2 (why am i going backwards? idk its fun) is a bit of a middleground.

its not as careless as 4 but isnt anywhere near 3. however, one must follow certain rules to please the gods, so for example its sacrilegious use fire on the day of the goddess of everything that flows (fun fact: that day oh so funnily coincides with the hottest day of the year, when most bodies of water were dry and lighting fires was basically suicide) there are more like this that still follow this line, so basically dont anger the gods, especially not on their day

1 does not have any bans, however this might endanger u cause toying with the elements and the strings of the world is umm not the safest thing?? so there is no sacrilege tagged that way but there are some things which are highly disencouraged and may have tough consequences on u (or the whole world why not)

Im.. not quite nonverbal rn, but it feels like talking just isn't an option? I've felt like this since I woke up and I HAVE spoken to the cat and to my mom, and I drove to the [public transit] station just fine but with the voice thing and feeling a bit floaty and being... not quite small last night, but kind of nearish it at points(?) last night.. idk.

Just feel weird, and I regressed after a bad dream on Sunday and my regression tends to be.. clustered? In a sense? Like I'm more likely to regress if I have recently.

I was texting my friend, [i can't find a tag for him but I've referred to him as 'penpal friend' before so ig I'll use that and edit/update later if i find that hes labeled as something else on here], when I regressed on Sunday and we set up a code a few months ago to let him know if I was small/smallish because cursing makes me really uncomfortable when I'm small (makes me feel bad-vulnurable, unsafe, just overall yucky), but I literally could not care less about it when I'm big abs regularly curse myself. All that to say that I sent the code (code bc saying it can be hard sometimes and also it doesn't have to be part of the conversation, I just.. need it to shape the conversation a bit, yk?) and he acknowledged the code and we kept chatting.. and then he cursed in one of his messages and I was feeling a bit bigger by then but it still felt a bit 'wrong' and he didn't know I was getting bigger so if nothing else.. the principle of it felt a bit like a betrayal, in a sense?

I brought it up to him the next day when I was firmly adult and brainstormed some ways to hopefully stop it from happening again. And he apologized and hadn't even realized he'd done it (partially bc he was sick at the time) - and I knew he wouldn't have done it on purpose and probably hadn't realized (but that doesn't mean I should let a boundary get crossed without bringing it up once I'm able)... and part of all of this was me realizing that we had a way of communicating when I'm small but nothing to say when I was big again. So now the single emoji I was using to indicate being regressed (🐤) has officially expanded to a spectrum, with any of these 🥚🐣🐥🐤 meaning I'm small or close to it (specific, detailed meanings haven't been assigned to each, but the eggs are basically me going 'hey I'm real teeny rn' and the chicks are a more general little/ish).. and probably most importantly, 🐓 to indicate once I'm confidently big again.

I haven't had cause to use any of them, but I considered it last night when I was feeling pretty close to small - except I realized that we weren't even texting right then, and it's not like the goal is to tell him every time I feel little, the goal is so he knows -when we ARE talking- that he's talking to a kid!

And I think it's important for me to remember that, especially when I am little. It's one thing if I'm little AND decide I want to talk to him, but there's no reason to tell him I'm small just cause. It's important I remember that he's not my caregiver, just a friend who is willing to accommodate me when I'm vulnerable.

Also, while I'm here, I don't know if I mentioned it, but I finally told my therapist I regress! That happened.. probably 2 months ago or something, now? But it's a big step for me because I've never told a therapist before.. or really anyone who I wasn't really close to.* I've been seeing this therapist for awhile now (over a year), but we only meet every 3-4 weeks, so it doesn't always feel like it. Anyway, he was chill about it, and asked what age.. and I was embarrassed so I told him like, young toddler, I think? 2 or 3, probably, idr exactly. Which, it's not untrue, but I definitely get firmly 'baby' fairly often when I regress. Probably more often than toddler/young kid. Maybe I'll open up about it more at some point (it hasn't come up in a session since), but either way, I'm proud of myself for taking that first step!

*with maybe a few exceptions? Like, I wasn't necessarily super duper close with Roommates R and Red when they were told, but I was close with Roommate D and they were all close at the time and Roommate D knew it'd be safe to tell them bc they both regressed too... idr now what order who found out about who, or if I ever knew, but there was trust there, still.

Also I wouldn't have told Roommates B, C, and D as early as I did, if at all, if Roommate D hadn't asked me directly. I probably would've told Roommate B, at least, eventually though - especially when we decided to keep living together for a second (and later, third) year.

A/N: Hi! I hope it’s okay I combined these two :) They’re quite similar so I thought they would work well together! Enjoy! Also, the Prince and Princess obviously don’t exist in canon, but they do in this story lol.

It was an unspoken agreement that Peter and Y/N only had eyes for eachother. Their arrangement was never made official nor spoken about but by their actions, it was more than obvious. High King Peter was infatuated with Y/N, and he was wrapped around her finger. Whether it was due to her unbelievably inviting demeanor or her ability to listen to Peter speak for hours, the poor king couldn’t get enough of the girl. Y/N was always there to offer support, without offering advice unwarranted, and she managed to crack Peter’s shell quite quickly. 

Y/N wasn’t a royal, nor was she a member of the official staff at Cair Paravel. Rather, she was just a normal girl in her late teens that happened to stumble upon Narnia, much like the royal family. Peter envied that she didn’t have any real responsibility or ties to the Kingdom; she was just a normal citizen who happened to befriend her rulers. What Peter didn’t understand was that she did have a responsibility. And a big one at that. She offered support to her Kings and Queens as normal friends, rather than monarchs who had all of the answers. Y/N kept her friends sane and relaxed. Her job could be seen as one of the more important jobs in the kingdom for that sole reason. 

“I’m not too excited about tomorrow, if I’m being honest,” Peter spoke hesitantly, sharpening his blade. The king sat upon a large rock in the courtyard, whereas Y/N was perched on a nearby bench. 

“And may I ask why?” Y/N hummed, her hands working on a daisy chain. She glanced up at her friend, unbothered by the shrill sound of the sharpening metal. Taking care of his blades was a coping mechanism Peter had taken up, so anything that helped him clear his mind didn’t bother Y/N in the slightest. 

“King Lune is bringing Princess Alexandra and Prince Frederick along to the deal,” Peter’s hands worked on his sword, his brow scrunched in frustration. “Which means more Archenland soldiers in Narnia. The more foreign soldiers in Cair Paravel, the more on edge the entire kingdom appears. I don’t want them to think we fear them.” 

“Ah, I see. Hand me that flower will you, Pete?” Y/N pointed at a daisy near his foot. Peter plucks it from the soil and hands it to Y/N. “Thank you. What deal are you trying to make?” 

“Ed and I are trying to get them to sign a peace treaty, which may or may not be a good idea.” 

“Isn’t there a third Prince? Prince Rub The Rash or something?” Y/N’s voice resembled a giggle. 

Peter snickers, “Rabadash, yeah. Apparently he has important matters to deal with and won’t be attending. A blessing, if you ask me.”

Y/N holds her daisy chain up in the light and observes her handiwork. The stems were woven around eachother securely and each flower was on perfect display. She grinned and fastened the ends together so it formed a crown. 

“So, a peace treaty. That’s good, yeah? More allies, or whatever.” 

“Yeah, that’s a good way to look at it. We’re just not too positive about what they want in return. Something tells me that’s why the Prince and Princess are tagging along.”  At these words, Peter makes a sharp movement and the metal of his sword emits a high pitched screech. 

“You mean marriage?” 

“Yeah, marriage. Susan and I, most likely.” 

Y/N sucks in air through her nose harshly. “Oh, I see.” She stands from the bench and stands right in front of her king. 

Y/N delicately pulls his crown from his head, placing her daisy chain in its place. His dirty blonde hair smooths against his forehead and Peter looks up with his beautiful blue eyes. Y/N always adored his eyes; no matter how his body language looked, his eyes always displayed his true emotions. 

“You look nice with flowers in your hair, my king.” Y/N’s voice was soft, making Peter understand what she was feeling immediately. 

“Thank you, but you know you don’t have to address me with formalities.” 

The two were extremely close in this moment; just observing the other’s faces. Peter hand a stone-cold look on his face, but his irises were filled with doubt and sadness. Y/N sighed, taking a step back and diverting her gaze. 

“Well, you are my king. I don’t see anything wrong with addressing you as such.” 

“I’m more than just your king, Y/N. You of all people should know that.” 

“What’s her name again?” Y/N had turned her back to Peter. She heard Peter set the objects in his hands on the grass and stand. 

“Who’s name?” 

Y/N tightened her grip on Peter’s metal crown. “The princess you are set to marry.” 

“Why does it matter?” The jagged edges of the crown dug into Y/N’s palm. 

“What is it, your majesty?” 

“Alexandra. Princess Alexandra.” Peter’s large hand fell to Y/N’s lower back and he guided her to sit on the bench. 

“King Peter and Queen Alexandra, that has a bit of a ring to it.” Her gaze fell to the metal between her fingers, her thumb running across a small red jewel. 

“Y/N, stop it. If it’s marriage we’re not going to go through with it. Ed and I have already spoken about this with Susan.” 

“Peter, I don’t think you understand something very important,” Y/N moved her head in one fluid motion to lock eyes with Peter. “You’re not mine, and you never will be. You’re High King of Narnia. I’m just, well, me. And we can never change that.” 

Peter rose his hand and adjusted the flowers atop his head so they wouldn’t fall off. “I have all the power needed to change that, Y/N.”

“But why would you? Why would you risk the safety of Narnia for me?” 

Peter sighs. “How about this, you come to the agreement, yeah? We’re holding a ball beforehand so we can ‘mingle’ and scope out their intentions.” Y/N nods solemnly, handing the crown back to its owner. 

“Flowers really do suit you, Peter.” And with that, Peter’s favorite girl stands and walks back towards the castle.

“How’s the punch? I heard it’s not very good,” A voice pulls Y/N out of her trance. She was currently watching a very handsy Princess Alexandra feel Peter’s biceps and giggle. 

“Pardon?” She looked up to see a very handsome man leaning against the wall. He was rather tall and lanky, with long ginger hair that was swept into his eyes. Atop his head sat a golden crown, very similar to Peter’s, and his face was twisted into a grin. The man was extremely attractive, with his slightly cocky body language and flirty tone. 

“Is the punch good? Tasty? Pleasing to the tastebuds? I heard it wasn’t.” In his hand, he held a small clear cup filled with red liquid. He raises it to his pink lips and takes a gulp. 

“Seems like you just answered your own question.” 

“It was alright,” He smiles. “It would be better if I knew your name, though.” 

“Your drink would be better if you knew my name?” Y/N laughs, growing more comfortable in the presence of who she assumed was Prince Frederick. 

“Well, it would make my day, night, week, month, year, life better. My drink is just a part of that,” He winked and took another sip. “I’m Prince Frederick, but someone as pretty as you can call me Fred,” The royal held out his hand for a handshake. 

Y/N giggled and shook it. “Y/N, I’m a close friend of the Narnian Kings and Queens.” 

Y/N couldn’t help but be charmed by the mysterious prince. He was funny and flirty, which was probably exactly how he wanted to appear as. Peter, on the other hand, hated what he saw. He was across the room but watching Y/N’s body language ignited a fire inside his stomach. 

“You’re so strong, King Peter,” Princess Alexandra squeezed his upper arm. Peter glanced at her then back at Y/N. 

“Thanks,” He responded shortly, tight jawed with his hand on the hilt of his sword. His eyes glanced over the pair and his gaze took in the subtle changes of his love. She was facing Frederick head-on while throwing her head back to laugh at whatever he’s saying. 

“Who are you looking at?” Alexandra said, placing two fingers on his cheek and turning his head to face her. 

Peter pushed away from her presence and walked over to the pair. “Excuse me,” The two turn their head towards Peter. Y/N’s smile faltered at Peter’s expression; he looked almost angry and was staring daggers into Fred’s skull. 

“Hello, my King,” Y/N bowed, acting formal as there were guests in the room. 

He ignores Y/N and turns to Prince Frederick. “Who are you?” 

This doesn’t seem to faze Fred as he lazily sips his drink. “I’m Prince Frederick. You must be King Peter, I was just talking to your friend.” He moves his cup to gesture Y/N. 

“I can see that,” Peter mumbles. A similar look of disdain falls over Y/N’s face as her eyes follow the path Peter took to get to her. At the end stood Princess Alexandra, now speaking to Edmund.

“How is Princess Alexandra?” 

“Oh, she’s doing great. Thinks I’m very strong.” 

“Oh, good.” Y/N responds passive-aggressively. 

“Yeah, it’s great. She was just feeling my bicep. Said it was the biggest she’s ever felt, mmhm.” 

Fred looks between the two awkwardly, raising his eyebrows and taking it as his cue to leave. He pushes off the wall and meets his sister in the middle of the room. 

“Fred, he said I can call him that by the way, just got done calling me pretty before you got here,” Y/N looked up at Peter, her eyebrow quirked and arms crossed over her chest. 

Peter glances over at Edmund and nods before grabbing Y/N’s arm and dragging her out of the room. He pushes her against a wall a little bit away from the ballroom. 

“I told you I wasn’t marrying her, why are you doing this?” His breath fanned her lips as he spoke. 

“Doing what?” 

“Flirting with Princey,” Peter’s body pinned Y/N’s against the stone brick wall. “I saw how you were talking.” 

“Why were you flirting with Miss Princess if you weren’t planning on marrying her?” 

“I wasn’t!”

“I saw her feel you up, Peter!” Y/N huffed in frustration, her hands coming to push and his shoulder. However, Peter was a wall and held his ground with little to no effort. 

“She felt my arm for, like, 10 minutes. Big deal. You actually flirted back.” 

“I did no such thing, thank you very much. I was too busy watching you flirt with whats-her-face to even notice Prince Frederick!” 

Peter slammed a fist into the brick before pressing a sheering kiss to Y/N’s lips. The kiss was hot and rushed; both parties putting all of their emotions into the one action. Teeth clashed and tongues wrestled until Peter eventually pulled away breathlessly. His lips were swollen and red, and Y/N assumes she looked the same. 

“I don’t want to marry her, Y/N. I want to marry you. I am so fucking in love with you,” Peter shook his head, walking in a small circle before returning to his place. “And seeing you with Princey really made me understand that I need you.” 

“Then, what are you waiting for, My King?” 

“Well, a yes would be nice.” 

Y/N giggled, and all tension seemed to dissipate. “Well, I haven’t been asked anything yet.” 

Peter’s grin matched Y/N’s. “Well, Lady Y/N, would you marry me and become my queen?” 

“Yes, Peter. Took you long enough.” 

The two laughed once more before pressing their lips together once more. Unlike the last kiss, this one was feather-light and full of love. Peter caressed the sides of Y/N’s face with his rough hands and pressed his lips against hers with much certainty. 

“There you are!” Edmund rounded the corner just as the couple pulled apart. “Good news! You two managed to weird out the Prince and Princess so much that they’re backing out of the arrangement. King Lune was convinced to sign the treaty with no further complications.”

yeah same!!! like, logically i know why, but it still sucks so much. we missed an entire unit of biology class while we were recovering so now we literally have to teach ourselves this entire unit

if it helps, we've personally noticed that being sober is one of those things that gets easier as it goes on. not really linearly, though. it's like one of those graphs with the ups and downs and ups and downs. but as time goes on, those downs don't go as far down as they used to and the ups last for longer. it's tough to go through absolutely, but worth it. we've been sober for.. i don't remember, again, poor memory, but it's been a decent while now. our biggest concern is for when we turn 18 and people start pressuring us to drink because it'll be legal, but hey, we've still got a few months to prepare for that

So, either Liz is lowkey ripping off Taylor’s work or she’s trying to signal that she was the muse for IKYWT. However, considering Liz is deliberately trying to keep her image separate from Taylor, it doesn’t make any sense that she would try and rip her off. Of course, it could just be a big coincidence...

30 September 2017 - In an interview with The Young Folks, Liz says that STFU and Hold Me is about “getting to that point in a relationship where you’re sick of going around and around talking about the same issue with your partner and it’s time to wave the white flag,” Huett says. “We’ve all been there.”

Of the lyrics “I’m coming from a line of problems / I was born and I became a product” Liz says “I’m not exactly the most polished person. I’d rather be real than perfect and sometimes that means I say things that make people uncomfortable or act out in relationships and test limits, etc… I’m an honest mess but I believe I can and should be loved in light of that. :)”

I still think this song was written about the end of her relationship with Bryan, but it’s still interesting to see how Liz describes herself in relationships.

27 October 2017 - Liz releases H8U

This is another song that I think was written about Bryan. The lyrics reference taking another woman to a Tom Petty concert (Liz LOVES Tom Petty) and generally moving on quickly with another woman, which seems apt for the Bryan/Jillian situation going on.

HOWEVER, the lyrics also reference “our first date two years ago,” which doesn’t make any sense, since Liz and Bryan didn’t break up until 2016 and were together since early 2013. So it could maybe be lyrically about Taylor.

I do think the MV makes a deliberate Taylor reference, though, with the interrupting the wedding scene. Taylor famously had Liz dress as the Bridezilla on the Speak Now album art:

And, at the end of the H8U MV, Liz DOES kiss the blonde bride on the mouth after interrupting her wedding... which is... INTERESTING (especially since Liz is dressed in full RED the whole MV):

I don’t think it’s a stretch to presume Liz could’ve reversed their roles here. IDK.

Based on the “two years and counting” line, as well as the line about a washer and dryer of guitar picks, I’m inclined to believe this is another song about Bryan. 

However, it is a really similar sentiment to that Civil Wars song Liz posted back when her and Taylor first ended things, and the line about running to get friends on a side when fighting is very similar to the “you go talk to your friends, talk to my friends talk to me” in WANEGBT and the image in Battle/Let’s Go of all their friends standing around watching them fight. Could go either way.

That’s not her fault. So either this is about another breakup (I’d guess Taylor, based on the lyric parallels), or she’s just very very self-loathing and won’t let herself think it’s Bryan’s fault (which both H8U and Nothing Personal don’t suggest to me).

6 December 2019 - Liz talks about That’s What You get with Earmilk and gives an interesting quote:

This is SO DIFFERENT fro mhow her relationship with Bryan ended, but matches up so well with Liz getting help and owning her shit after spiraling in 2012.

24 July 2020 - Folklore drops. Two of the songs are written by the mysterious William Bowery. One of those songs is Betty -- a popular nickname for Elizabeth. Liz tweets at Taylor about the 1 because all of Taylor’s exes wanna think that song is about them.

So, IN CONCLUSION: Liz got help and worked through her shit and they’re on good terms now. They were possibly working on something together in 2015, although that never saw the light of day as far as we know. Liz seems to maybe be referencing Taylor in her music and MVs, but there’s no way to know for sure. Better Than Revenge on the Speak Now Tour was an iconic moment of sapphic energy, and maybe, just maybe, when Taylor re-records her masters, Liz will sing backup for her again.

giffing tutorial/resources

hi anon! sorry it took me so long to answer. i figured this might be helpful for others out there who have asked me similar questions, so i’ve compiled a pretty comprehensive list of tutorials/resources. idk about others but when i was new to giffing, it took me a lot of painful effort to go around and look for resources, so i’m putting it all here to make it a little easier!

i download videos using 4k video downloader. it will download very good quality 1080p videos in .mp4 format. if you’re downloading a 4k video, make sure to change the setting option to .mkv so that you get 4k and not 1080p—for obvious reasons since you want the highest quality.

i rely on kpopexciting to get .ts files — which are basically raw, very high quality video files for live performances. they are much less grainy than .mp4 versions of live performances—which are the ones you’ll see uploaded to youtube. i’ve found that 4k videos (in .mkv) are just as good quality as .ts, but obviously you will rarely see live performances in 4k, so get .ts when you can!! you can also try to find .ts files on twitter, but you may have to do a lot of digging. i wish i could recommend you twitter accounts, but the ones i used to go to have been very inactive/taken down all their drives :( but this website is really nice and updated frequently so i would recommend it!

vapoursynth links + download. the reason you would use vapoursynth is to resize your gif, while maintaining the optimal quality of the gif. if you gif without vapoursynth (.ie only using photoshop), it will still be fine, but the image quality may be grainier. also, you will definitely need vapoursynth to gif .ts files —more will be explained in the tutorial i’ve linked below. i would recommend that you have a high processing/lots of ram/newer desktop or laptop to use vapoursynth so that 1, your computer isn’t fried and 2, your vapoursynth process will go a lot faster. i am using a 2017 macbook pro for all my work, and it runs pretty well, but my laptop still gets pretty hot so just make sure you’re not running a million things in the background while using adobe products and vapoursynth lol. i used a pretty old and beat up 2011 model macbook air back then, and i will say that yes vapoursynth worked and ran on it, but it took much longer, and basically fried the laptop’s battery (aka i had to get the battery changed twice and the laptop would die randomly) but issok it was a school borrowed laptop so i didn’t feel too bad lol. im just saying this as a precaution, to preserve the health of your electronic devices!! but don’t be afraid to use vapoursynth! you should still try it at least once.

thank you to @dreamcolouring for this lifesaver!!! the best and easiest way to blur out unwanted captions/objects in your gifs. i recommend doing this step after converting your frames to video timeline and before you do sharpening and coloring. another tip i’ll add is to feather the selection you’ve made right before you click on “add vector mask” —this will make sense once you’ve read through the tutorial. feathering it will make the blurred spot less noticeable and more subtle.

i use this generator to create gradient colored captions! copy and paste your text, then select the colors you want. generate the code, and copy it. change the settings of the text editor on your post to HTML. paste the code, preview, and voila! add elements <blockquote>,<b>,<i>, etc as needed. see more on colored captions in this tutorial by @kylos​ --i believe op mentioned a different and better color generator but for some reason it won’t work for me :( hopefully it works for u! basically same idea as the previous generator i mentioned.

my own mini tutorial/workflow process of making gifs. this includes working with a .ts file, vapoursynth, photoshop, coloring, watermarking, etc. and a few of my own tips below:

if you are working with an .mp4, you do not have to make any changes to the preprocessor/denoise filters/sharpening in the resizing part of vapoursynth—it doesn’t make that big of a difference if you do. but if you are working with a .ts file, definitely do make those changes,, that’s the whole reason you have vapoursynth. with an .mp4, i like to use vapoursynth to just resize, but i don’t add any additional settings. i use smart sharpen in photoshop to sharpen it, which is pretty good on it’s own (at least in photoshop 2020!).

my rule of thumb is to do add .02 seconds when i am setting frame delay. so if when you first import the frames, they are at 0.04 seconds, i usually change them to 0.06. of course, this is my personal taste—you can make all your gifs faster or slower depending on how you want em to look.

if you are on a mac, you can screen record by pressing Command+Shift+5 (it’s a shortcut to quicktime screen recording). I only screen record for things like the beyond live concert or other live streamed events. the image quality of the screen recording, in my experience, is actually pretty good. when you gif the screen recording however, you may notice that it adds extra frames that you don’t need. by that i mean duplicate frames. you could keep the duplicate frames but that just means the size of your gif is going to be much bigger (keep in mind the limit is 8mb). in order to remove those duplicates, my only solution has been to remove them manually (by holding Command while selecting), or when you are importing the video to frames, select the option to “limit to every 2 frames”—but this method will be less precise and still not as good as manually removing frames. if you remove the duplicate frames, this means you will need to set the frame delay even slower, to make up for lost frames. in my experience, fps(frames per second) and frame delay work in conjunction. so for example, if i delete every other frame because they are duplicates,  but the starting frame delay is 0.02, i am now going to change it to something like 0.05 (so i added 0.03 seconds rather than my usual 0.02). if the duration length and the image dimensions of the gif are short/small, feel free to keep the duplicate frames in—i only delete duplicate frames in order to keep my gif under the 8mb limit. then, if you keep the duplicate frames in, continue with your standard frame delay preferences.  now that i’m writing this im realizing this might not make a lot of sense lol.. but don’t worry about it for now and if you run into trouble w screen recorded gifs then you can come back to this for reference. again, this is only my experience recording on a mac—it may be a lot different if you use a screen recording program or are on a pc.

i don’t really use .psd templates because i like to give every gif/gifset it’s own unique coloring—so i remake the coloring every time, but if you get into a rhythm it’s pretty easy. there are a lot of nice coloring tutorials out there, too! my personal coloring adjustments in order: levels, exposure, color balance, selective color (if needed), vibrance, photo filter (if needed), color lookup (i use 2strip most often and i put it on ‘color’ blending mode). don’t forget to adjust the opacities and fills of the ‘color lookup’ adjustment layer in case it’s too strong. go back to correct each adjustment layer as needed. then, when you’re done and satisfied, group all those layers, copy the group (you can do an easy command+c), and paste it onto the next gif you’re working on for easy workflow.

if for some reason you can’t see the frames when you import your layers/video, it’s likely because your ‘timeline’ window isn’t showing up. just go to the window menu on photoshop, go to the bottom and you’ll see ‘timeline.’ make sure it has a check next to it.

i recommend watermarking your gifs because a lot of people like to repost tings these days 😠 - so make sure u got your brand on it! i keep my watermark saved to my ‘libraries’ in photoshop so it’s ready when i need it. i use the blending mode ‘overlay’ and adjust the opacity, but if you don’t want to do that you can also add a stroke/shadow to your watermark/do all sorts.

keep in mind that giffing takes a lot of patience, energy, and experience—so don’t worry if it takes you a bit to figure things out or if your gifs don’t turn out the way you want them to the first time around. we all start at the same place and all run into problems. i know giffing can sound intimidating and seem like a lot of work, but i promise, once you get into a routine, giffing is going to happen in minutes—and you’ll get beautiful gifs. have fun! 😊
