just saw a man dressed in a full three piece green suit with like the vest and the tie and the pocket square and everything. and i realised you don't actually see that very often. suits, yes, but colourful suits with the whole shebang? not that common. and it's real nice tbh. that man looked so cute. fun suits are dope <3

Every time I see screenshots from any ‘friend’ or fandom ‘circle’ on discord or twitter, or pop into a discord I’m like in but have not actually checked in a year and never do anything in I am just so glad I’m not...doing that. Like dear god, it’s always drama and it’s always the exact same nasty, intense, vicious kinds of drama. Girl one time on the merry-go-round was enough for me to learn my lesson and stay the fuck out of that kinda environment but I see so many people get knocked down and climb right back on and get flung off and climb right back on and honestly it scares me like--how do any of you have the energy for that. How do you...mentally deal with that in a way that’s not like ‘that was fucked up. don’t want to be tangentially even related to that kind of stuff again.’ Are they okay? What causes this to happen? Is it societal trends in online behavior, user age, the inherent ease of misreading tone in text and misreading written text period? I have no idea but it’s kind of nice--like it shouldn’t be, and I do feel bad for...everyone. But also I’m always like ‘Damn at least I’m out here’ and feel better about myself. It’s like coming home super tired from a day of hard work, but you open the door to your roommate's room and see that it’s on fire and the ceiling fan is falling on their head while they try to doge so you’re like ‘Damn it might be rough but at least that’s not me.’
i rlly love all the queer ppl on here being so nostalgic about bruce springsteen music but like i cannot relate bc my father was neither nice or from new jersey so bruce was never in my lexicon
let's talk about the things you can call me that i'm comfortable with :)) /pos
pronouns:
regarding pronouns, anything she/her related is absolutely off the table. please do not call me this/these. my pronouns of choice are they/them, however i'm also experimenting with he/him pronouns. if you're going to forget to use gender neutral pronouns, call me he/him. i'd much rather you call me those since they don't make me as uncomfortable as she/her.
formalities:
again, anything she/her related is off the table. ma'am, miss, lady, whatever it is, i'd rather you not call me it. however, i'll let "ma'am" slide if you're using it as slang/as a joke. for example: MA'AM—
as far as other ones, i still prefer you not really use formalities with me anyways, it makes me feel uncomfortable because i'm not superior to any of you guys, but if you use any, i'd rather you use sir/mister/mr. idk why you would say ladies and gentlemen anyways, but if you dare say shit like "theydies and gentlethems" in front of me unironically, don't be surprised if i start hoping you get hit by a bus. at that point just call me a tr*nny and leave 😐 i'd rather you call me a slur than that stupid shit. anyways, back to the point, ladies and gentlemen is pretty unnecessary considering there are many other gender neutral formalities you can use, but yeah don't call me either of those. if you have to, then i guess gentleman is okay, but you're on very thin ice.
girl/boy/man/woman:
i'm okay with you calling me girl, boy, or man, if used as slang/as a joke, but woman is off limits.
compliments:
honestly, i really don't care what you call me as far as compliments.
royalty stuff:
princess and queen are, no surprise here, off limits. under no circumstances will i be comfortable with it. prince is meh. i don't like being called prince unless it's a compliment or something but yk, it doesn't bother me that much. if you're going to call me something, call me king. you can use this as slang/as a joke or just in general, i really don't care.
if you made it to the bottom, thank you for caring <3 i hope this clears up some stuff and please do not hesitate to ask me if you have questions about this. my anon is turned on, so if you feel more comfortable asking me questions through anon, feel free!
