attention is not caught easily, new tech companies have been sprouting like weeds in the garden of investors, billionaires often through their money like rain and hope one properly takes root. @batfall is old money, it’s in his veins. he’s the sort when he enters a room, people look, and more importantly : people talk. gerri is keenly aware.

he’s caught her interest, though it isn’t gossip she is after, she hasn’t hired a rat fucker to dig up bodies well hidden, she has no need to when the public as hoisted signs of slander in the streets, his face is plastered on every screen, is crumbled in every newspaper on the street, the media has not been kind to him, and most would think : with good reason. she is reminded not of logan when cold gaze finds him, dancing cross what she could only describe as melancholy features. he reminds her of roman, young enough he’s got promise, ideas that become branches, ideas that bare fruit, gerri cannot help but wonder if unlike roman he might know how to pick them.

“ you have quite a target on you. ” it is not a question but a statement, a fact. gerri has been in the game for decades, and she knows how hard it is to separate a company from their namesake, knows she should be perhaps, more cautious, but she has a job to do. “ starting a company to rival W.E. ” she’s stalling conversation, if they have her on this it means ATN has perhaps taken a step too far in some remark, and she’s here to assess if she needs to call his bluff or pull back.

We all know the semi-canonical ‘all the Robins know to hide/duck inside of Batman’s cape, even as adults’ thing.

We also know that Danny ‘is LITERALLY a ghost’ Fenton sucks at remembering his own intangibility while ALSO forgetting to look ahead of him.

All I’m saying is, Danny Fenton (or Phantom, if you’d really like) would absolutely SLAM into Batman on accident while running on roof tops and Bruce ‘Brooding Instinct’ Wayne doesn’t even think twice about letting the kid hide and scanning around for danger before there’s a record scratch of ‘wait who tf is this?’ kicks in.
