So after a comment I got from the lovely @dangara2610 I wanted to ask a question to the tangled fandom.

If I were to start a group where people were to cover various songs as the TTS characters, would you want to be a part of it?

If yes, what roles would you be interested in taking on, be it singing, making AMVs, or anything else?

This would be a passion project rather than a paid gig, since whether we were to stick with covers or branch out to originals, we would still technically be using copyrighted content unless we stopped associating our work with TTS

Also, would you prefer a casting call for every song, or to have set characters you play/roles you take on? It also wouldn't matter if there were a few duplicate roles, as different people could take on different songs. You could also voice multiple characters if you wanted, though only one per song.

As long as they are a tangled character, there would be no limits to who you could sing as, and the future may hold branching out into different fandoms

(Please note that though you could audition for anyone, characters would be offered based on who's voice you can imitate the best, rather than your favourites)

If you're interested in being a part of this if it were to take off, please DM me! I'd love to hear your ideas! Anyone from any background and with any level of ability in what they'd like to contribute can join, this is for fun after all!

This is about Nicholas Cantu. MMLeonardo’s voice actor.

Controversial take here, but I think MMLeonardo would be disappointed in Nicholas Cantu.

In regards to the posted video, I’m aghast. He was a jerk to his Uber Driver. He threatened murder and violence. He apparently saw himself as some kind of god compared to the others in the vehicle. Being drunk is not an excuse. Nicholas still had these thoughts and there are a number of allegations that can be made against him. Disgusting things were said. He was the one to say them. He knew a video was being taken- he ended it by inviting people to his socials.

Still not talking about Dream. This is not about Dream.

Nicholas Cantu is clearly full of himself. It’s saddening that he is a direct contrast to some characters that he plays.

MMLeo’s reputation can and will be effected by his voice actor’s dumb choices. People tend to base how they view movies on the actors. A bad egg in production will make the older audience look the other way. People will judge the show because of Nicholas.

That’s not fair to the MM boys.

They deserve their chance to be noticed.

MMLeo might not know what to say in response to Nicholas Cantu’s bad vibes, but I like to think his brothers would gang up on Cantu for giving attaching such a negative image to their sweetheart of an older brother. He deserves better.

I know i’m functionally a gay DARE officer at this point but I do in fact feel some sort of way about Cocaine being back in vogue. Surely I sound like a square + narc and I’ll concede ok do whatever you want, nobody can materially stop another person from using drugs if they really want to 🤷🏻 I don’t really care that it’s hip to do party drugs, moreso I want to articulate a general level of caution and concern that I never see a sidecar of harm reduction and safe using practices along with the commonplace clips of people straight up snorting coke I’ve seen for “brat summer!!!1!!”

You 🫵 are not immune to ingesting fentanyl or any number of other additives. Do you think drugs at the gay club are different than the drugs people are taking under bridges and in gutters? I promise they’re not! So if you want to use drugs and continue being alive, do your part to be safe. Protecting yourself protects others and your community.

Do not accept drugs from strangers. Test your drugs with fentanyl test strips. Carry narcan and know how to administer it. Never use alone. Have an exit strategy if you’re using drugs in a public space. Know the contact information for your local harm reduction groups, overdose emergency hotline, and if you need/want it, addiction treatment orgs. This is all the bare minimum for community care if you intend to be out in the world using drugs. Mainly I encourage you all to be buzzkills if it means you don’t have to die of an accidental overdose. Overdose is the leading cause of death for Americans under 40. I have a whole lot of social workers in my network and however bad you think the synthetic opioid crisis is, it’s worse. The war stories I’ve heard from my people on the ground are… The shit of nightmares. Don’t let it be you or anybody you love.

What’s up with how the dunmeshi fandom just lies about this kind of stuff all the time. It is easily confirmable information that it was a monthly series, something incredibly common in the industry.

A not weekly magazine schedule is literally common !! Especially in the seinen shoujo and josei demographics, sometimes monthly, sometimes biweekly, sometimes every two months, sometimes seasonal! Please stop lying about how Dunmeshi was some special unique creation that defies all standards of manga just to hype it up because it is so clear that every single one of these comparisons is centered around Weekly Shonen Jump (and understand that SJ has many magazines under its brand that are monthly or semimonthly). Not everything is WSJ and it needs to stop being the only point of reference in conversations like this 🤧

reminder to myself and whoever else needs it to stop feeding the machine. I'm aware I'm yelling into the void but look at the past couple years of games. They're pushing $70, $80, $100!!! for games that are completely unfinished, unpolished, and sometimes completely unplayable. Yes the game showcases were cool. The doom game looks sick and I don't even go there, but they're shaking the shiny keys to distract you and get you swept up in the hype. They're going to push so much fomo marketing to get you to jump for it full price.

Wait for sales. Wait and buy a used copy. Hell, wait a couple days (even hours!!!) after launch and reviews and breakdowns will start coming out. Our game backlogs are already packed, and mr big AAA studio can deal with some of us waiting to see if they actually delivered what was promised.
