Hope you enjoy 🤍✨ pt. I
You adjusted your oversized hoodie as you and Wonyoung stepped into the trendy café, the smell of roasted coffee beans filling the air. Fresh from your Pilates class, both were glowing with a post-workout flush.
“So, this weekend, we’re going, right?” Wonyoung asked, scrolling through pictures of Kelingking Beach on her phone.
“Definitely,” you replied. “I need the ocean breeze. It’s been too long since we had a proper getaway.”
As you approached the counter, a familiar voice from behind caught you off guard.
“y/n?”
You froze. Your eyes darted toward the source of the voice. Jungkook stood there, his expression a mix of surprise and uncertainty. He looked effortlessly stylish in a black oversized t shirt, black washed out black jeans and baseball cap.
“Hi,” he said tentatively, his tone soft, almost careful. “How have you been?”
You felt your chest tighten. Without a word, you turned your back to him, focusing on the menu board as though it held the secrets of the universe.
Wonyoung, sensing the tension, whispered, “Is that… him? The guy from the flight?”
You gave a terse nod, biting your lip.
Once you had your coffees, you sat by the window. Wonyoung leaned in, curiosity brimming. “So… what’s the deal? You look like you’ve seen a ghost.”
You sighed, staring at the swirling foam in your cup. “It’s just… seeing him brings it all back. I was confused at first, thinking maybe I misread everything. But the more I thought about it, the angrier I got. He acted like he cared, but he was just playing with me the whole time.”
Your mind flashed back to your flight together—the stolen glances, the laughter, the way he’d leaned in just a little too close. For a moment, it had felt like you were the only two people in the world. And then, the crushing blow of his confession: I have a girlfriend.
~
The neon glow of the bar lights bathed the room in shades of pink and blue. You clinked your martini glass with Wonyoung’s, the gin warming your chest as you let yourself get lost in the music.
“Eunju, who are you texting?” Wonyoung teased.
“My guy,” Eunju replied with a grin. “He’s here with his friends. Mind if they join us?”
“Sure,” the girls chimed in unison.
Minutes later, Eunju waved over a group of guys. Your smile faltered when you saw him—Jungkook.
“Seriously?” You muttered under your breath.
He caught your eye and gave a small nod, but you avoided his gaze, focusing on your drink. Jungkook, however, didn’t seem deterred, attempting small talk every chance he got.
Finally, needing a moment to yourself, you grabbed your pack of cigarettes and headed to the terrace. The cool night air did little to soothe your nerves.
A few minutes later, the door creaked open, and Jungkook stepped out.
“I’m sorry,” he said, his voice low. “I know I hurt you. I understand why you’re avoiding me.”
You exhaled a plume of smoke, refusing to meet his eyes.
“I’ll leave you alone,” he said, turning to go.
“Do you love her?” The question escaped your lips before you could stop it.
Jungkook stopped in his tracks, then slowly turned back to face you.
“I thought I did,” he admitted, his voice trembling slightly. “I thought that once I got back to my routine, I’d feel guilty. That it was just a moment of weakness for a beautiful girl.”
Your breath hitched.
“But I couldn’t stop thinking about how incomplete I felt. How little I knew you but wanted to know more. To kiss you again.”
Jungkook stepped closer, the intensity in his gaze making your heart race. Your breath intensified as the world seemed to fall away, leaving only the two of you on the terrace.
Without a word, he reached up, gently brushing a strand of hair from your face. His fingertips lingered, sending a shiver down your spine.
“I couldn’t stop thinking about you,” he murmured, his voice low and vulnerable.
Before you could respond, his lips met yours.
The kiss was tentative at first, as if testing the waters. His lips were warm, soft, and impossibly gentle, yet there was a tension beneath the surface—an urgency that spoke of longing and regret.
You froze for a split second, your mind racing, the thought of what you were doing was tremendously evil. But then something inside you gave way, it just felt so good, not just his lips felt good, but the controversy of the act, the forbiddeness of your relationship, so you kissed him back. It was like a dam breaking, all the pent-up emotions from your short-lived story on the plane pouring out in that moment.
Jungkook’s hand moved to cradle your face, his thumb brushing against your cheek in a way that made your knees weaken. His other hand rested lightly on your waist, pulling you closer, as if afraid you might slip away again.
The kiss deepened, growing more passionate with each passing second. His tongue caressing yours, his teeth biting your lower lip, the exchange of saliva getting more intense. His lips moved against yours with a desperation that mirrored your own, as though he was trying to make up for everything, like he promised.
The cool night air contrasted sharply with the heat between you, your fingers clutching at the fabric of his shirt as if anchoring yourself to the moment.
When you finally broke apart, both were breathless, your foreheads nearly touching, his lips swollen and slightly tinted with your red lipstick. His eyes searched yours, as though trying to decipher the storm of emotions swirling within you.
“y/n…” he whispered, his voice barely audible.
But you couldn’t find the words to respond, your mind a whirl of confusion, desire, and the painful knowledge of everything that had brought them to this point.
“This isn’t fair,” you said looking at him straight to the eyes. “For neither of us, your girlfriend and me.”
His eyes went from ecstatic to disillusioned, “I understand…”
~
After that night at the bar, everything changed. Jungkook had insisted on taking you home, his insistence both polite and protective. Before you left his car, he handed you his phone, asking softly, “Your number?”
You hesitated, guilt swirling in your chest. But there was something in his gaze—vulnerability, longing—that you couldn’t resist. You typed in your number, sealing a fate you weren’t sure you were ready for.
Since then, you had been talking on KakaoTalk every day. Your conversations were casual at first—simple exchanges about how your days went or what you were doing. But over time, the messages grew longer, more intimate. He’d send pictures of his meals, ask you about your favorite songs, and even shared silly anecdotes from his day.
You felt guilty, of course. Horribly guilty. Every time his name popped up on your screen, you thought about the girl he was betraying. But you couldn’t deny how much you looked forward to those chats, how comforting it was to talk to him, how utterly magnetic he was.
When you mentioned to Wonyoung that you had invited him to dinner at your grandfather’s restaurant—a Michelin-starred culinary gem—she didn’t hold back.
“You’re awful, y/n,” she said bluntly. “You’re helping him cheat.”
“I know,” you muttered, staring at your phone.
“But…” Wonyoung softened. “I know how much you like him. Just… think everything through, okay? Before this gets too serious. You’re not just playing with fire—you’re bathing in it.”
~
The restaurant was warm and intimate, with soft golden lighting that illuminated the intricate woodwork and glass displays of your grandfather’s creations. You had reserved a private table, tucked away in a corner overlooking the city skyline.
You chose a sleek, black silk dress that hugged your figure but fell elegantly to your knees, paired with simple gold jewelry and black heels. Jungkook arrived in a tailored navy suit, the crisp white shirt underneath unbuttoned just enough to show a hint of his collarbone. He looked effortlessly stunning, and the sight of him made your pulse quicken.
“You look beautiful,” he said as he pulled out your chair, his voice low and sincere.
“You’re not so bad yourself,” you teased, taking your seat.
The dinner began with a series of amuse-bouches, each more exquisite than the last. You watched as Jungkook tried each dish with curiosity and delight, his reactions varying from wide-eyed amazement to playful critiques.
“This one,” he said, pointing to a delicate scallop dish. “Is almost too pretty to eat. But I’ll make the sacrifice.”
You laughed, shaking your head. “You’re ridiculous.”
As the main courses arrived—perfectly seared Wagyu steak for him, a delicate truffle risotto for you—your conversation turned lighthearted. He teased you about your inability to drink espresso without sugar, and you teased him back about his obsession with perfectly symmetrical food plating.
But then, as dessert arrived—a stunning mille-feuille with caramelized apples—Jungkook’s tone shifted.
“I need to tell you something,” he said, his gaze dropping to his hands. “About my relationship.”
You set down your fork, your stomach twisting.
“My relationship… it didn’t start naturally,” he admitted. “My father is a well-known lawyer, and he works closely with a famous politician. They would joke for years about how their youngest children should date. Eventually, they arranged a meeting for us.”
You stayed silent, watching as he struggled to put his thoughts into words.
“At first, I thought I liked her. She’s a good woman, everything someone could ask for. I convinced myself that I loved her. It was easy. It felt… safe.”
He looked up at you, his eyes searching yours.
“But then I met you.”
Your heart skipped a beat.
“For the first time, I questioned everything. You make me feel things I didn’t think I was capable of feeling—excitement, curiosity, passion. You’ve made me realize how much I’ve been settling.”
His words hung in the air, heavy with meaning. You felt a flicker of hope—small, fragile, but undeniable. Maybe… just maybe… this wasn’t impossible after all.

Transphobic "mutuals" on Instagram are mad that I had my top surgery?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Let me put on a wig and makeup and watch them get even more mad because "boys can't wear that!" :)
The photo on the left is not edited! This is just lighting and angles. I am facing a large kitchen window with the sun flooding the room. The camera is eye level and an arm length away from my face.
The photo on the right is the same makeup in different lighting and different angle. I'm bringing my face down and holding the camera close so you can see I am wearing a full face of makeup! (Primer, foundation, concealer, blush, highlight, contour, eye shadow, eyeliner, eye contacts, lip gloss, eyebrow pencil, etc)
How to piss off transphobes with gender non conforming/crossdressing cosplay:
Actually take years of practice and learn how to do makeup. The different techniques, different products, how to suit your own features and style. Learn more than they do.
Learn about eye contacts, what styles suit you and your makeup look. Learn which stores are reputable to buy from. I really trust uniqso it's been a staple in the cosplay community for decades.
Learn how to store the contact lenses properly so u don't infect your eyes!!
Learn proper skincare. Take years learning from different resources and find out the best routine for you! Stick to that routine consistently and see the results.
Take care of your body and health! Learn about your body and your health and take care of yourselffff
Stay active. stay active and stay consistent for years. They don't need to know how far it took you to get where you are now. They don't need a before picture to see the results. The body you're looking at is a result of your hard work. I am STILL learning what works for me!
Spend time and money finding the right stores for you.
Use tools for your wigs!! Don't just put it on straight out the box. Style your wig
Learn BASIC wig styling. Dont just stick to one source when studying techniques and tools. Black people have amazing install techniques, users on douyin taught me a lot about cutting and shape.
Actually properly store your wig and take care of it so it lasts longer.
spend time and money learning what cosplay stores are best for you.
Block them and let them call themselves a victim of "the intolerant transgenders"
Basically what I'm saying is that I've spent years teaching myself my hobby because it is something i fucking enjoy!
I blocked the transphobes ofc but I know why they misgender me when I crossdress, it's because they are mad thinking that a trans man can "compete" with them. It hurts more to see a post top surgery trans man as competition than a cis woman.
I don't see anyone as competition (and I don't care about fighting over the attention of cishet men) but it's only the mutuals who followed me "to network" (aka clout chasers looking to get close with my friends) that have outed themselves as transphobes post op :)

I meant like a proper reunion, because I would find it hard to reunite with someone, when there’s a giant mold titan currently trying to kill us. That is why I had put ‘after the battle, and the defeat of Belos’. Like so that Stan, the kids, and Ford can reunite properly, without having anything to worry about.
Also, I had said in another post that, the moment Stan comes back, he tells Collector to take the kids and Ford away from the scene. So the kids and Ford don’t really get the time to register his sudden appearance and that it was him.
Sorry if I made it confusing. 😅
IN ENGLISH
In reality, Stan tells the Collector that he takes the others during the escape they make thanks to Stan's magic, similar to the original, when everyone sees that the people inside the archives are in danger, Stan would ask the Collector to take the children and Ford away to protect them, which the Collector does without a word
That is to say, Ford, Mabel and Dipper had a few minutes to look at Stan in his Titan form before being taken away from the battle, another thing is that they did not have time to process everything in just a few minutes
To clarify, it took them a minute to recognize Stan before everyone was relieved to know that Stan is alive
Now if, after the battle, Stan moves away from the group to "say goodbye" to the Titan and all his power, Ford, Mabel and Dipper would arrive just in time with the Collector and the Hex Squad to see Stan's Titan form in more detail
Ford would approach with doubts, thinking that maybe Bill possessed Stan, but when Stan looks at him with a calm smile, Ford calms down as well, he would approach his brother before hugging him tightly, between tears of joy, which Stan reciprocates, Dipper and Mabel would also hug him
Dipper, after hugging him, would look in detail at Stan's new appearance, asking him questions about how it was possible for him to have so much power
Mabel would be excited by the change in appearance, telling Stan that he looked incredible and would take a picture of him, since she always carries Willow's camera that she lent her
After a few minutes of hugs and joy, Stan separates from them, while Luz, Eda, King and Raine watch the remains of Belos disappear, suddenly, a bright golden light appears behind the group. Eda looks over her right shoulder to see the source of the light.
They all turn around and see Stan glowing. He begins to float and the symbol on his chest turns into six golden lines with purple outlines, which travel up to his eyes. Stan opens his eyes, which glow a bright gold, and his Titan power is finally released. The energy manifests into the form of the Titan as many glyphs appear around it. The manifestation roars as everyone watches in shock.
King's eyes shine in amazement as his father's manifestation roars again before flying away and disappearing. The scene slowly pans to Stan, who has returned to normal and is back in his Halloween costume.
Stan opens his eyes, but realizes he no longer has his powers, and falls down and screams. Luz, Eda, and King run up to him and catch him. The quartet then lie on their backs, side by side, panting.
The clouds slowly part to reveal the sun shining brightly as the trio watch, faces set. At that moment, Stan remembers something.
Stan: Oh! - to King - Your dad had a message for you… - he whispers in his left ear -
King: I loaf you? I loaf you! - chuckles - Bread pun!
King starts laughing, Stan, Luz, and Eda join him.
Luz: Isn't it amazing? We did it. After all, after all this, we stuck together…
King: Yeah… now… the question is… what now?
Stan: I don't know… but… we earned a nice rest…
The quartet relaxes as they calm down, happy that the whole ordeal is finally over… at least until Stan was approached by Ford, Dipper, and Mabel, who rushed to hug him.
Rey: ¿Eres Miga lan? ¡Miga lan!

bono!reader thots
“somehow that's how she pictures her mom leaving: giving up the relationship with her dad and, even worse, giving her up.”
i think this fits very well
imagine one day bono comes home from an outing with bon one day and his lover is just gone
it starts off with him noticing her car isn't in the driveway, which isn't unreasonable, maybe she needed something and had to head out for a bit
but then it was not being met with the sight of all her shoes that are normally mixed in with his own in the shoe closet they share
and then it was peering into their shared office space and seeing all her stuff is gone from there as well
and then it was looking into their bedroom and seeing that all her stuff has vanished from there as well
and it isn't until he reaches the kitchen where there’s a note left on their dining table. in which she admits she’s not happy anymore and needs to move on to find herself again. that he is being given full custody of their child. that the place they own together would also be going to him. and she's sorry to leave him a single dad. but she just can't do this anymore. she can’t keep pretending that she’s happy being a mother and co-parenting while still trying to keep their relationship together. that she thought it would be different than it has been and she can’t handle it.
and bono is left sitting in one of their, now his, dining room chairs sitting in the fact that he is all alone in this now. that the place they used to share will forever be devoid of the person he thought he would marry one day. that now he has to figure out how he’s going to take care of bon now that he’s the only one at home to take care of her. that he never got to say goodbye to his lover face to face. that he will never steal a kiss from her at random times of the day ever again. that last night was the last time they would ever go to bed in the same bed, after years of having the other occupy that space next to them at night. that bon will never fall asleep in her mama’s arms ever again. that he would never be able to hand over and get bon handed to him by his lover again. that the world and reality he knew and deeply loved has changed forever.
☕️
prev ask
I think the hardest part is how it happened. one day you have this person, and the next they're gone, and they're gone without a proper goodbye or a reasonable explanation. bono will def look for things he did that could have pushed his lover away, but at the end of the day it wasn't about him, but rather about her and the life she wanted but never told him, she thought she could settle for what they had, but she was unhappy, frustrated, and she decided to change it. I think he resents her, but can't get around hating his past lover because she gave him bono baby and bon baby is the light of his life, the reason why he grinds hard and gave all his blood and sweat to be where he is today, because he had a kid, someone who would look up at him soon, someone who depended on him and deserved the very best. they both leaned on each other. it went beyond father and daughter, they shared love, but they also shared the grief of being left behind by someone who was supposed to love them endlessly.

Third chapter of Alexis & Erica’s story (I think I’m going to start calling it the other-world universe because that’s what I tag it as). The final intro chapter. Woah, another new ability?
all chapters linked here
[Two figures, one dark alley]
I made my way to the city again.  This time I took the proper amount of caution, because if I'm honest with myself, I wasn't paying all that much attention to where I was stepping before.  However, the closer I got to the city, the harder it was to find some open space.  In fact, the buildings were almost literally within my reach, but I had no way to get any closer without carving a path right through them.  Most of the larger buildings on the outskirts of the city only came to chest height.  Still, that was tall enough to stop me in my tracks.  I stood on my tiptoes, trying to scout out any signs of a giant robot battle like the one Liam created yesterday, but there wasn't a single piece of evidence that anything was out of place.
As I shifted my weight to one leg so I could see around an office building, the pavement of the empty lot I was standing in cracked beneath me.  I flinched, kneeling down to examine the shattered concrete below.  Am I really that heavy?  “Giant robots are invading!”  I scrambled to my feet in an instant.  My brother’s story is happening now!?  I looked around wildly, trying to spot who had yelled.  With all the tall city buildings, it was hard to get a clear view of everything around me.  I was used to a bit more open space.  Now, my vision was constantly obscured, but I tried my best to find out what was happening.
Rushing down an empty street as carefully as I could manage, I found a view of the highway into the city.  An explosion pictured on an electronic billboard dragged my eyes away from the busy road.  Large robots walked in thematic slow motion as the screen faded out.  The board announced: “See the new movie from the Battlebots universe, in theaters now!”  I took a relieved breath as I watched the preview switch with an insurance ad on the billboard's display.  My brother's stories were only movies, not reality.  There was no mass destruction, no horrible demise of the human race.  That's a relief.
The sun was already sinking below the horizon; I'd spent a lot more time than I realized finding a pathway out to the city.  I thought about leaving, but I’d come all that way.  Why not enjoy the city lights while I’m here?  Carefully checking the lot I’d come from, I sat down for a while and watched the city come to life for the night.  It was a nice break from everything that had happened in the world so far.  For once I had a moment to myself to enjoy without having to dodge vehicles, people, or houses.  This is great, I thought happily, time is stopped in my world right now.  I could come here and do whatever I like for as long as I want without any consequences.  If I wanted to, I could even sit here and do nothing for days and it would only take a few seconds in my own world.
I don't know how long I sat there for, but eventually I got up to leave.  The sun had long disappeared, and I was getting bored.  Just as I picked myself up, I heard something crash to the ground.  Standing frozen halfway bent, I looked for what caused the noise, fearing I'd broken something again.  "Uggh, let go of me you-!"  I quickly stood straight up, searching for the source of the voice.  My search led me to a run-down club a few blocks away and two people fighting in the alley beside it.  It was almost completely dark in the part of the alleyway I could see, and I didn’t have room to bend down either.  Despite my best efforts, I couldn't make out their appearances.  "This is the last straw, I'm done."  It was the voice I'd heard in the empty lot.  "What do you mean you're done?" another voice asked.  It was gruffer, more masculine.  "I mean you can go rot in hell you psycho!  I'm done dealing with your shit.  I can't stand another second of your fucked up little game where I hopelessly try to please you!  Is this where you've been sneaking off to?  You know what, I don't care.  I'm done.  Goodbye and good riddance!"  I don't know what I just stumbled upon, but by the sound of it, nothing good.
It might be best for me to just leave; pretend I didn't see anything.  Slowly, I began backing away into the street.  "Where do you think you're going?"  For a brief moment, I thought the gruff voice was referring to me and I flinched.  Instead, the owner of the voice grabbed the other person and yanked them back into the alley, sending them crashing against a dumpster.  "What the hell, you could’ve broken my arm!" yelped the one who'd been pulled back.  The violent one sneered, "I'm going to break more than just your arm by the time I'm done with you!"  "What!?"  I spun around, watching as one hulking figure approached the other, halfway on the ground.  This little fight was going too far.  I had to stop him, but how?  I wanted to pick the threatening person up and throw them full force into the city, but I couldn’t just go around attacking people, even if they might deserve it.
That's when it hit me.  If the smaller world is a recreation of the one on the kids table in mine, I could play out this argument any way I want like Liam can, only it’ll be real for me, because I’m the one who can use the table.  In seconds I was back in my own world, searching frantically for what might have been the place I'd seen.  Try as I might, I couldn’t find it.  The little building probably hadn’t made the cut for the model city.  However, through other buildings around it, I was able to gauge where the place would’ve been in the model.  I reached for the alleyway beside it, picturing the place in my head, and the whole table phased out before me, unveiling the other-world.  Briefly my fingers fell through open air before meeting the back of the man, who was turned away from me.  He had the other person’s arm gripped tightly in his hand, but once I touched him, he froze in place.
My nerves spiked before I realized I was still invisible.  What the-  What happened?  Can I not change things like my brother?  I cautiously pulled my hand away and the man stepped backwards with it, still strangely frozen.  Huh.  Uncertainly, I used one finger to move his arm and make him pick up an empty can on the ground nearby.  I kneeled down, thoroughly shocked, leaving him frozen in place.  It's like a puppet on a string, I realized.  This is so much more than what my brother can do.  And so much worse.  I didn't particularly like the idea of controlling people like that.  Not only were the man’s movements weird and unnatural, it just felt wrong.
"John?"  The other person had gotten up, likely confused with his sudden strange movements.  ("I uh, I have to go now.")  I said quickly while turning him towards the parking lot.  Apparently I can speak through them too.  The man, John apparently, had said the same thing I had just as I said it.  I walked him a good distance away from the other person in the alley, but as I walked, I’d grazed the side of a building while I wasn’t looking.  I turned quickly in horror, expecting part of it to come crumbling away, but it was completely unscathed.  My side had passed directly through the building.
While I was controlling one of these small people, my whole form became strangely intangible.  I tested this on cars in the lot.  Each one passed through my outstretched hand.  After testing out my new ability on a few other objects, I finally let the man go, willing him to drive away afterwards.  It worked, and I watched him look around confusedly, get in his car, and leave.  A quick swipe at a signpost proved that I was no longer intangible.  It fell to the ground at my touch.  I returned to my own world shortly after he drove out of sight and spent the rest of the day at home, sorting through what I'd learned.
My life then became an uncertain divide between worlds.  Spending too much time in either place bored me.  Whenever I got tired of one place I would slip seamlessly into the other.  After finding my strange new ability to control unsuspecting people, I’d decided I would only use it if absolutely necessary.  Using the tiny people like puppets felt a bit too invasive, even if they were just plastic figures.  Besides, what would I even do with them?
The other-world was a lot easier for me to traverse now, too.  I spent most of my days practicing dodging houses, cars, and the like.  Not to brag, but I was getting pretty good.  The whole process was akin to a game of Twister or hopscotch.  Of course there were some mishaps.  People walking or driving around couldn’t see me, so every once and a while something or someone would travel directly into or underneath my feet.  Cars were the biggest problem.  Driving at a high speed directly into an invisible wall such as myself probably wasn't great, but I couldn’t really stop them.  A visual warning would completely counter the whole invisibility trick I needed to prevent everyone from freaking out.
I returned to the same empty lot that I had sat in to watch everything a few days prior — again finding that it was the closest I could get to the city.  Standing there unable to go any further, I watched again as everything began to light up for the night.  Neon lights flickered awake and large skyscrapers cast grand displays that lit up their sides.  The rushing cheers of a large crowd suddenly erupted from one side of the city.  There must be a game in the stadium tonight.
A massive congregation was gathered in and around the football stadium to my left; cheers and music echoed from it.  Stepping over smaller buildings, I started off in that direction to try and watch.  I remember when my dad got the stadium set.  He was planning on re-selling it for more than he bought it for, but my brother insisted on having it, so it ended up as his birthday present instead.  The stadium was in an entirely different spot on the table than it was in the city, though.  Probably because we’d moved it around so many times; it was a big set and took up a lot of table space.
It was mind boggling to think that the plastic recreation from my world and the large steel structure in this one could possibly be the same thing, but they had to be.  Despite the variety of differences, they were both so eerily similar to each other.  I made my way over through parking lots and whatnot, shuffling across the outskirts of the city.  On my way through its rougher edges I came across the club from a few days earlier.  I couldn't have cared less about finding it again had it not been for a familiar voice shouting and laughing and definitely drunk.
I sighed, stepping closer.  It was the same voice I'd heard in the alleyway, the person I hadn't controlled.  Under the streetlights I could see that she was a young woman, probably in her early 20’s or so, with subtly dark skin and curled mahogany brown hair.  She shuffled over to what might’ve been her car, except when she tried to unlock it, a car further down the lot beeped instead.  However, she persisted trying to open the one she was already at, setting off the car’s alarm.
A cop car pulled into the parking lot shortly after, and found her there.  By the time they pulled up, the young woman had given up using her key, and was trying to force the door open through brute strength instead.  Suffice to say, she didn't get very far.  The cops managed to get her into the back of their cruiser, saying something about how she was 'attempting to drive under alcoholic influence' or something like that.  Intrigued, I followed the car as best I could.  I managed to get all the way to a county police station, where the young woman disappeared into the building with the two officers.
Well, I have all the time I want, and I'm curious to see how this plays out.  I waited the night by the station, leaning cautiously on the side of the building.  Finally, just as the sun had cleared away the dark of night, the young woman came storming back out of the station.  “Fuck, how did I let myself get that drunk?” she muttered as she walked past me to a bus stop by the road.  I carefully pushed myself away from the building so it didn’t collapse, and inched closer to the stop across the parking lot.  “Can’t believe this, now I have a stupid fine to pay on top of my rent that I already can’t pay anyways.”  I could help her, I realized while she complained.  I can easily get the money she needs from my brother's space bank heist set.
The set was the newest addition to my brother’s collection.  I remembered that it came with miniature ATMs that held tons of fake bills.  There's a bunch of money I could easily take for her.  Maybe then I'll stop running into her problems when I'm here.  I waited until she got on the bus and followed it back to the club, where she found that her actual car had been towed.  "Can this day get any worse!?"
Thinking back to the night before, I tried to remember what her car looked like, the one that had beeped when she tried to open the wrong door.  I always stop in a towing yard on the way to this spot.  It was fenced in and open enough for me to stand in comfortably, so I would stop there to take a breather and find another open space.  Her car had to be there somewhere.  Following the path I’d taken earlier, I came to the tow yard and found her car parked close to the entrance, just as I'd suspected.  How am I supposed to get this thing back, though?  I can always control someone to get it.  I thought for a moment.  Did this situation count as an emergency?  Not really, but I'm only helping out like I did last time.  In the end, I snagged one of the workers and had him tow the car back to the club's parking lot.  When I returned, I found the young woman back at the bus stop.  I had the tow truck driver leave the car where it had been parked the other night and drive away.
I realized then that the young woman hadn't noticed her car was back yet.  After thinking of a way to get her attention, I grabbed the dumpster from the alley and brought it down hard on the ground a bit beyond where the car was parked.  She whirled around at the sudden noise.  "What the-  Is that..?  That's my car!  But, it's- How? I swear that wasn't there before."  She ran over to it from across the lot and practically jumped in.  I watched her drive off and followed her back to the apartment where she lived.
Finally leaving her off there, I returned to my own world in search of the bank heist set.  Eventually, I found it amongst the boxes of other sets and board games piled high on a shelf.  I opened it up and dug through it, searching for the tiny stickers that read ATM.  When I found one and tore it open, a pile of tiny plastic bills came tumbling out.  Perfect.  Hmm, I wonder if I'm robbing a space world's bank right now...  Nah, I don't think deep space banks are real, I thought, chuckling to myself.  That’s too crazy even for the smaller world, plus this thing isn’t on the table.
Back at the apartment building, I realized I didn’t know where the young woman lived to put away the money.  I sat squished in an old baseball field behind her building to think.  That small area was the only place remotely big enough for me to fit in, so I would have to make it work.  Finally, I remembered how I could go through solid objects while I was attached to someone.  Huh, I guess it's useful for more than just controlling people.
Forgetting about my self-made rules, I grabbed a person walking by and had them stand by the building while I peered in.  It was mid-morning now, and most people were at work or someplace else.  I found her room easily, it was one of the few that still had someone in it, and left the person I'd controlled to continue wherever they were headed.  Carefully, I slid open the young woman's balcony door and eased the money down inside once she left the room, trying not to break anything.  I was only a bit shocked to find that the plastic bills had transformed into real paper money when I crossed worlds.  After double checking I hadn't left any clues to where the money came from, I headed back to my own world, satisfied with what I’d done.
Sometimes I still wonder about that day.  Why I decided to help her out of the hundreds of other people I'd encountered in the other-world.  Life went on as usual after that, I took a break from one world to deal with the other.  At school I realized I undoubtedly had the coolest life of everyone there, and I couldn't tell anyone.  Though, come to think of it, I didn’t really want to.  Apart from the slight hints of days when I canceled all my plans and snuck away to the basement, there was no way for anyone to suspect the truth.  Was it selfish of me to keep the discovery of a whole other world to myself?  Maybe, but the other-world was much more comforting when I was there alone.  Well, alone with the millions of people who live there.  But they don't count, they aren’t real anyways.

Not Quite Home. (Drabble, Planeswalker Jowi)
Jowi arrived home, finally returning to… his house in America? Weird. He hadn’t been trying to come here, so why did he end up here, and not in Japan, where he’d been trying to land? Even for the Infinite Refraction surrounding Gaia, this was unusual. He’d always been able to land where he had chosen on his planeswalks before. Did he maybe get sent off course by overlapping timelines? Only a problem going to his home plane, he figured. But now that he was here, he could just walk again, and go to Japan, right?
He walked around the house as he thought, looking at pictures on the walls, noting that they were still of his family, so he hadn’t ended up in someone else’s house. But, oddly… there seemed to be only pictures of him as a child. And a lot of pictures of his parents with a girl he’d never seen before.
“Well, I’ve definitely never seen her before…” he mumbled, picking up one of the picture frames, flipping it over, trying to check the date on it, if any, only to be interrupted by the lights flicking on, and a familiar voice speaking up behind him.
“Who are you… and what’re you doing in my house?”
Tumblr media
Jowi turned to face the source of the voice, raising an eyebrow. It was clear to him now, that he’d accidentally planeswalked to the wrong Earth. His eyes settled on the figure of his mother, older, certainly, but still very clearly his mother.
“…Mom?” He asked, too stunned to think of a proper excuse, before processing that she had asked who he was, getting cut off before he could say anything else,
“You’re not my son, he’s dead. Just because you might look a little bit like him doesn’t mean you’re gonna trick me! It’s in bad fuckin’ taste to pretend to be a dead kid.”
“Dead…?” He asked, putting the picture down, “How did I…”
Dumb question. If she was here, and he wasn’t… there was an obvious answer to what happened.
“The fire… I died instead of you…” he whispered, only barely having enough time to raise his arms in defense, as the girl from the photos came from upstairs, and threw a mighty kick
Tumblr media
Even if he did block it, the impact was heavy, sending him tumbling out of the room, and through the front of the house, rolling to a stop in the street, quickly rising to his feet, and preparing for another attack. The girl continued her assault, and came running out, wearing simple pajama pants and a top, continuing to attack the perceived intruder.
“Athena, wait!” Alayara called, as Jowi fended off her blows. The girl was good. As good as he was at her age, and probably as strong. But she was still just a teenager, battling against a hardened Planeswalker. And she was using all of Jowi’s own moves. The Tycho Style he knew all-too well.
“I won’t let you just break in, and torment my mom! I don’t know or care how you got in, or why you’d pretend to be Jowi, but-“
The elder Tycho cut her off, stepping past one of her punches, and finally counterattacking, his fist meeting her gut, and sending her tumbling down the street. She tried to get up, but winced in pain, having never been hit by someone her own strength, she’d never actually taken much damage.
“Nobody ever just listens… I am Jowi… but not the one mom would know… I’m just in the wrong world…”
Alyara raced out from the house, carrying with her, a pistol, and pointed it at Jowi, “Stay away from my daughter. I don’t know what you want, but you picked the wrong house to-“
“I wanted to direct movies!” Jowi shouted, cutting her off, “Horror movies! Because me and Karla always watched them when you weren’t home even though you told us not to! Mom… it’s me, Jowi… just not your Jowi. I’m… from another Earth. In the fire, on my birthday… you died to save me. I guess, here… I died instead.”
Athena, finally managing to shake off the blow from earlier, began to stand up, “What a load of bull! Like anyone’s gonna believe…”
She trailed off, as her attention turned to her mother, tears beginning to stream down her cheeks, as she dropped her gun,
“Do you… what did I get you for your birthday?”
Jowi sighed, reaching into his jacket, and pulling out a small locket, partially melted, “A picture of you and dad inside it… doesn’t open anymore… melted shut in the fire. It’s… all I have left of you in my world.”
Alyara took a few steps closer to Jowi, reaching out, and gently touching the side of his face,
“Your eyes… show me. And I’ll believe you. You can’t fake those eyes.”
Jowi nodded, closing his eyes, and opening them again after a few seconds, glowing a sim crimson red in the night, before his mother finally embraced him,
“My baby boy… all grown up… and I wasn’t there?”
Jowi, finally relaxing, for what felt like the first time in years, hugged his mother back,
“Just… just me, dad and Karla. I didn’t… I didn’t mean to come here… to dig up those memories of your son… I was just trying to go home. Being here… was an accident.”
Alyara just hugged her son tighter, continuing to cry into his chest, not wanting to let go of her son a second time, as Athena stumbled over,
“So… you’re my big brother, huh…? Emphasis on big, you’re almost as tall as dad.”
Tumblr media
“I guess? I don’t… I don’t really know you, uh… Athena. But you’ve got good form. You keep your feet a little too close together though.”
She scoffed, punching him in the arm, and heading back to the house, “Come on. I’m tired, let’s just… get back in the house, and worry about all of this tomorrow. I don’t know how you got here, but if you leave and make mom cry again… I’ll kick your ass. Don’t care how I have to find you.”
“I guess… I guess I can stay for a day…”

Spreading Joy the Aussie Way: The Art of Luxury Gift Hampers
Tumblr media
There's something uniquely Australian about going the extra mile to show appreciation. Maybe it's because we're a nation built on mateship and lending a helping hand, but we've got a special knack for turning a simple "thanks" into something extraordinary. And when it comes to showing gratitude, nothing quite hits the spot like a carefully curated luxury hamper.
The Perfect Thank You for Every Occasion Whether your neighbour's been feeding your chooks while you've been away in Bali, or your mate helped you lug that massive BBQ up three flights of stairs, some moments deserve more than just a casual "cheers". That's where the magic of a luxury hamper comes in – it's like giving someone their own personal treasure chest of goodies.
Choosing the Right Hamper for Your Mate For the cricket-loving mate who's always up for a barbie, imagine their face lighting up at a hamper packed with premium wines, gourmet snacks, and maybe even some fancy marinades. Or for that friend who deserves a proper pamper session after helping you move house, a spa-themed hamper might be just the ticket.
Corporate Gratitude, Aussie Style In the corporate world, we're moving beyond the tired old gift card routine. Whether it's recognising a team that's smashed their targets or thanking a client who's stuck with you through thick and thin, a thoughtfully selected hamper speaks volumes. Think local artisanal cheeses, small-batch wines from the Barossa, or handcrafted chocolates that'd make any sweet tooth weak at the knees.
Making Special Moments Even Better Picture this: your sister's looked after your kids for the weekend, giving you a much-needed break. Sure, you could grab a bottle of plonk from the bottle-o, but why not make it memorable? A luxury hamper filled with her favourite treats, some premium bubbles, and maybe those fancy biscuits she loves but never buys herself – that's the kind of thank you that makes memories.
The Art of Giving Back As Aussies, we're pretty laid-back about most things, but when it comes to showing gratitude, we don't do things by halves. A luxury hamper isn't just a gift – it's a story waiting to be shared, maybe over a glass of wine or during a quiet arvo tea break. It's about creating moments that bring people together and memories that last longer than any box of chocolates (though those are pretty good too).
Ready to Spread Some Joy? Whether you're thanking someone who's gone above and beyond or just wanting to make someone's day a bit more special, a luxury hamper is your secret weapon. From classic wine and cheese combinations to personalised pamper packages, there's a perfect hamper out there for every occasion and every budget.
Remember, it's not just about what's in the hamper – it's about the thought behind it, the smile it brings, and the connection it creates. Because at the end of the day, that's what we Aussies do best – turning simple moments into something unforgettable.

Modular Kitchen Photos
Tumblr media
Source of Info: https://www.regalokitchens.com/modular-kitchen-photos.php
In today's modern world, the kitchen has become more than just a space for cooking meals. It has evolved into a place where families gather, conversations flow, and memories are made. With the growing popularity of modular kitchens, homeowners now have the opportunity to create a stylish and functional cooking area tailored to their needs. Today, we'll go into the idea of modular kitchens, go over its advantages, and show you some gorgeous pictures of modular kitchens to get you thinking creatively.
1. Understanding Modular Kitchens
A modular kitchen is a highly flexible and customizable kitchen design that is created by assembling pre-made cabinets and modules. Modular kitchens are constructed in a factory before being put on the site, in contrast to traditional kitchens, where every component is constructed on-site. This approach allows for greater efficiency, precision, and cost-effectiveness.
2. Advantages of Modular Kitchens
Comparing modular kitchens to traditional kitchen layouts, there are a number of benefits. They maximize utility, maximize storage capacity, and make the most use of the space that is available. Additionally, modular kitchens are known for their durability, easy installation, and ability to incorporate the latest technology and trends.
3. Key Components of a Modular Kitchen
A modular kitchen consists of various components, including base cabinets, wall cabinets, countertops, backsplashes, and kitchen islands. These components are designed to fit seamlessly together, creating a cohesive and visually appealing kitchen space.
4. Choosing the Right Layout
It's critical to choose the appropriate arrangement for your modular kitchen. The most common kitchen layouts include L-shaped, U-shaped, galley, and island. Each layout has its advantages, and the choice depends on the available space and personal preferences.
5. Colors and Finishes
Your modular kitchen's color scheme and finish options are crucial in achieving the right atmosphere. Opt for colors that complement the overall theme of your home and reflect your personal style. Consider incorporating a mix of textures and finishes to add depth and visual interest.
6. Storage Solutions
One of the main advantages of modular kitchens is their efficient use of space. Various storage solutions, such as pull-out drawers, tall units, corner carousels, and overhead cabinets, can help you maximize storage capacity and keep your kitchen organized.
7. Appliances and Fixtures
Consider functionality, energy efficiency, and longevity when choosing your modular kitchen's equipment and fixtures. Built-in appliances are popular because they smoothly integrate into the kitchen design while stainless steel appliances are well-known for their sleek and contemporary appearance.
8. Lighting Design
Proper lighting is essential to enhance the functionality and aesthetics of your modular kitchen. Incorporate a combination of ambient, task, and accent lighting to create a well-lit space that meets your specific needs. Pendant lights and under-cabinet lighting are popular choices for modular kitchens.
9. Adding Personal Touches
Infuse your personality into the kitchen design by adding personal touches. Display ornamental items, works of art, or pictures of your family to create a cozy and welcoming ambiance.
10. Maintenance and Care
The best way to maintain the appearance of your modular kitchen is to adhere to recommended upkeep and care procedures. To keep your kitchen looking good and working well, keep it clean frequently, stay away from harsh chemicals, and make repairs as soon as they are needed.
11. Cost Considerations
The cost of a modular kitchen can vary based on factors such as size, materials, finishes, appliances, and additional features. It's essential to establish a budget and work with a reputable kitchen designer to ensure that your dream kitchen aligns with your financial constraints.
12. Popular Modular Kitchen Styles
Modular kitchens can be designed in various styles to suit different preferences. Contemporary, conventional Scandinavian, business, and farmhouse are a few popular fashion trends. Choose a style that resonates with your taste and complements the overall aesthetics of your home.
Conclusion
Modular kitchens provide the ideal balance of beauty, functionality, and customization. You may turn your cooking space into a functional and visually appealing room that suits your lifestyle by opting for a modular kitchen. Allow the inspired modular kitchen photographs to act as a jumping off point for designing your ideal kitchen.

Nerdy lighting talk below...
I took these before I had built my basement studio. I was just starting to experiment with artificial light and only got good pictures due to luck.
I can usually tell what modifier I used by the catchlights in the eyes, but these weird rectangular catchlights confused me at first.
Tumblr media
I think it is might be one of these.
Tumblr media
These are little attachments you can put on a regular on-camera flash.
Thy are... a gimmick.
They don't really work.
They are a "soft" box that creates hard light.
Which is probably why my Grandma has a very sharp shadow under her nose. An indication of harsh, hard light.
I think they are made to trick newbie photographers into thinking they can put a softbox on their flash and get the same results as the big studio versions. Many people mistakenly assume that diffusing the light makes it softer and thus more flattering. But diffusion only scatters the light across a given surface. And if that surface is not any larger than the light being diffused, it cannot create softer light.
The only way to get softer light is to increase the size of the light source relative to the subject.
Diffusion is meant to make a light source more homogenous.
Tumblr media
If you look at the diffusion on the left, there is a central hotspot. That is bad. Instead of creating one large homogenous light source, there are now essentially two light sources.
A bright hard light source from the small hotspot and a larger and dimmer soft light source.
This will probably create a double shadow and not look very flattering.
So if you have one of those cheap Amazon lighting kits and notice you have a hotspot, you can add another layer of diffusion on the front to even it out.
The diffusion on the right is homogenous and so the entire face of the softbox creates a single large light source.
However, imagine that light source was 100 feet away or it was only a square foot in size. It doesn't matter that it is properly diffused—relative to the subject it is a small light source.
What I could have done was aimed my small light source at the white wall that was to the side of my Grandma. Then I would have taken my tiny, hard light and made the entire wall a large soft light source.
Hard light isn't necessarily a bad thing though. Hard light suits black and white. And that is my favorite of the two photos. And the color one ended up being okay with a few hours of Photoshop and some dodging and burning. But I do wish I could have taken a photo of my Grandma a year later when I actually knew what I was doing and had proper equipment.
It's funny to see how many silly gadgets and gimmicks I fell for in those early days. Now I can literally use a big white wall or ceiling to more effect than this dumb little "soft" box that creates hard light.

Grandma Toni
This is my Grandma Antoinette. She lived to be 97. I took these photos in 2014 when she was a spry 91.
I decided since I am re-editing all of my favorite photos I would tackle these and give prints as a gift to my Aunt Denise. My aunt is the only blood relation that still speaks to me on a regular basis. She has been a lifesaver ever since I lost my parents. And so I wanted to do something nice to show her my appreciation.

PILE ONE

your relationship with them
It's pretty obvious here that you are not currently with this person right now, you are both in a separation. You will meet this person where there's a large sum of water but while you are in this separation progress your guardian angels are guiding you both to the right direction while you are far away from each other while if you are in literal separate i see a reconciliation will be happening again soon. In this separation process of the two of you, your guides are helping you out to recognize your truest self first and fill your hours of helpful and healthy activities for the two of you that will help of future relationship. You will discover commonalities and learn new things with this person, you can create a great intimacy with them by showing your real self and identity. You will discuss with them, some of your uncomfortable and risk experiences you had in the past and so this will serve in the end a great bond and an ensure healthy relationship.
main theme of this relationship : great bond with your partner.
what will they love about you
This person will love how you manage to make waves without them, you are confident and brave enough to face every situation. You may look like a foolish and may look like a failure but to be honest you make them think of a new way to love you more deeply. You might think you are not different from others but you are way more unique from their own eyes. You are someone who is creative and intelligent even though sometimes you literally want to give up on these things like from your goals and dreams but you always look for the bigger picture and you seek for balance. They also love how calm individual you are by handling every situation, even if though you may act as very childish sometimes. They see you as someone who is simple yet so challenging. I'm getting for some of you, are belong on the tall side of height, they will also love where you use your talents and someone who is planning very careful for their own projects and works so it can be somehow worth it and successful in the end. They will love how you bring spark and light into their boring life. The only thing they don't like about you is that you tend to overthink and have an explosive temper.
why do they fall for you
Oh boy, this person will gonna feel so damn energetic when they're with you. They gonna love to be with you all the time - from your presence to themselves who is quite confident when you are around this is because they can express themselves freely without any judgement. They afraid to express it to others because somehow they're terrified of judgemental people, one of the reason is that they think they are lacking of experiences since they might have past trauma dealing with this kind of issues. This is the reason why they gonna love, you are not really judgemental individual for them. In short, you are open-minded. You seems very understanding and open-minded person but i feel that you are not really fond of sharing your thoughts and opinions with others because you might think they gonna sabotage it.
This person will fall for your homebody and welcoming aura, you tend to stay at home that's why. You might be an introvert and someone who is very mature if i gonna compare to your real age. When this person fall for you, they gonna think that their dreams come true in real life and not gonna lie they might be dreaming of having a perfect relationship when they are in their youthful years unlike when they got older and mature.
When they're already matured person, they gonna lose those imagination and might not planning to have a family until you come into their life, in our out blue and change their perspective. This person will be heals over you, they fall so much to the point they gonna ask you to marry and have family with them that fast. I'm also hearing someone(this is you) is praying here to spend their older years with the person they gonna truly love and care for them as they do. Your prayers are heard by the heaven and they gonna fulfill it soon just have patience and don't rush with things. In addition, when you get married with this person you will experience the satisfaction of abundance and lavish security however there's a group of people here that will feel jealous about your relationship with your (future) partner.

PILE TWO
please consider buying me a coffee here, thank you.
your relationship with them
This pile has a strong soulmate and true love connection. You are most likely meet/met this person through friends or in a social gatherings. When you actually meet this person for the first time — you will feel the sense of familiarity and comfort. There's also doubt here, where you kept only to yourself like "Does my soulmate really exist?" or "Will I ever meet them?" and "Are this tarot readers saying the truth after all or just sugar-coating me?" something along with these lines. I understand you questioning all of these readings but honey, it's true that you have a soulmate in this lifetime and for some of you already know this person and it seems like they passed on your life one time (can be an someone from your past like ex, childhood friend, an ex crush, fling, mu, etc..) or they can be someone who is from your past life in general. While, if this person is just around your circle and then the spark between the two of you is not yet started and still remain unrevealed. Perhaps, the beginning will be soon on set or if you haven't met this person like in at the very first time you both meet each other's. There's literally no romantic sparks not until when you both used to get to know each other way deeper and more know each other for a very long time, you two might have a story trope of friendship to lovers.
You'll have a lot of opportunity to explore your passion together, this giving me a slow progress yet it surely written by the stars type of relationship yk. This person will have genuine love for you as the time pass by (in their own pov this might be a realization) and you both will experiencing a lot of ups and downs with this relationship but you will surely overcome these issues. You both will have a true-soulmate love relationship. The two of you will cherish each other and will have a healthy and will commit a long term relationship to each other. In addition for singles only, true love is on its way to you soon, just be patient because it may take a lot of time like months or years to finally come.
I also getting that you will have or notice a lots of blessings coming on your way for the next upcoming months, pay attention to what your Angles are trying to say to you from angels numbers to significant events and dreams, they're trying to send some hints about this person.
main theme of this relationship : strong relationship, both will be super supportive to each other and likes to praise their partner most of the time.
what will they love about you
This person will love your duality, you are this type of individual who is the balance of feminine and masculine. Someone who act cute today and on the other day act as someone hot and sexy. Some of you might be a part of LGBTQ or if not you have a big respect for the LGBTQ+ people and community. This person will feel very secure with you to be honest because you don't look like a bad partner to them but rather you are someone who is a husband/wife material.
You are this type of individual where your first priority is your loved ones rather than anything else, they see you as someone who can settle a long term of commitment even you are busy at work. I see here that you two will live in a happy home life in the future, this house will have lots of wonderful memories and welcoming kind of aura, you and your partner are gonna be a good parent if ever — i see that you rarely fight each other and if ever, the you two have conflicts or fights, you two don't even want your own children hearing and showing it to them. You or your (future) lifetime partner will be the ones who will decorate the house as simple and may have many plants. Sorry this is the shortest pile however i tried to shuffle more cards for you but no cards are popping up so maybe it was not right time for you to know them way more deeper and might this person is blocking my energy to know about them more or they just really this mysterious, i want to know them more like you do but i don't think it's the right time, okay? Let me see on the next section why they fall for you and revealed those things.
why they fall for you
They will fall for your childishness, it's like you have this very youthful side within you — it's like you often tease others and smile wide each day yet you are a savage when dissing those people who hate your loved ones for example family, friends or even your favorite idols, you are this person who seems so freaking innocent but scary as hell. Another thing of my interpretation here is that you really love children or babies a lot(some of you might already have kid(s) and being a single parent?), you might even this type of individual who have baby fever yk where your stress reliever is watching baby videos online like for example in the social media's like instagram, facebook, tiktok, youtube etc.. They fall for your kindness because you like to give and provide to others without expecting anything back from them (this might be one of your habits and/or goals for some of you) — you have a big heart pile two especially to your loved ones even though they hurt you really bad, you can't deny the fact you still care for them because after all you still have the softest heart. They see you as someone who is inspirational and refreshing for other people that a must should follow.
They will fall for your curious personality, you always seek for answers and wanted to learn more in a specific field for example new language like french, korean, japanese, italian, arabic etc.. new skills or even ideas, it seems like you want your knowledge to expand. You will captured this person soul and heart. Lastly, this person will come on the right time so no need to no rush or feels urgent when it comes to love or goals. Time is running but every seconds must be cherish.

You will learn to forgive and will be each other's teacher — teaching each other with those things you haven't learn or discover yet. You will meet (or have met) this person through family or extended family, for some you pile three, you will meet them when you travel to a place where it was your really your big dreams on written on your bucket list to visited for(mostly european countries) or might be your honeymoon too. But as i see here, after the nuptial you both want to settle down in a countryside like, somewhere surrounded by nature and animals.
This person love language is physical touch, they literally not good at words or even using it as comforting for someone. However, if you discuss and said to this person that you need space to think and breath first for this relationship, they will do it without any hesitation and negative opinions nor giving up to you. what will they love about you
You are the serenity of their after storm experience, their healing and overall hope to everything. This person will fall with your hope and the way you inspired other people. Also you may come off as cold, intimidating and mysterious person to this individual at first however they will find themselves really curious about what's matter and happening about your life even though you show off as funny and friendly person to them and to other people. you are low-key private, you don't want other people to invade your privacy.
You also have this habit where you cut off people that no longer serving you anymore. This person will love that you have faith in everything and we'll committed from it.
why they will fall for you
Are you a savage? lol because one of the reason why this person fall for you is that because you are a savage individual. You come off as cool for them and doesn't give any sht to people since you think you don't owe them anything. You may have an rbf? I think this person will fall for you very fast like love at first sight. You could also meet (have met) them after a break up or while healing yourself from a heartbreak. They fall for you because they find you so interesting and you may have serious face or doesn't show any emotion or simply just mysterious person or you hide your true personality away from the public. By the time this person see you, they will having a thought of "this will be the one i'm going to marry and end up with" or you are someone who will complete them in general. They will also find your beauty as very attractive with their own eyes, you may also a flirt? that will make them fall harder. You can be also an old style or traditional person who doesn't like to keep up with trends like in fashion? They will feel happy and love whenever you are by their side, they always prefer a heart to heart conversation with you. You also give the best kisses or affection to them.

“Where are we going?”
The tug on your wrist is habitual. You follow it like a dog follows at its masters feet, and, much like a dog indeed, you expect to be supplied with an order. Months of mistreatment have you readying your throat to bark, your limbs already preparing to jump and sit pretty when your friends demand it.
Strangely, Sun doesn’t ask for any of this. He leads you away from the party with only enough strength to prompt you forward, not an obedient march, but a friendly stroll. He walks with you, not in front of you, and if your ankle were any worse you suspect he might have drawn you into his arms a second time and carried you the whole way instead.
The light of the rec room is all but small as a firefly when he finally answers you.
“Those friends of yours aren’t going to change their minds about you overnight,” he supplies, sounding positively matter-of-fact about it. If he had the lips for it they’d surely be pressed into a thin line right about now, with forehead wrinkles to match. “Rather than waste time with their cute attempt at barricading you from all the fun, I say we make our own fun — right out here!”
The glance over your shoulder is wary at best. “I don’t know…” you mutter. “Is it really a good idea to be outside right now? I mean, with what happened to Chet—”
“You aren’t in any danger,” he interrupts. Clearing his voicebox, he slows down a pace and decides to clarify. “What I mean is that I’ll keep you safe,” he says. “I won’t let anyone hurt a single fuzzy hair, bunny. You’re all mine for the night!”
You think the smile he finishes with is meant to be reassuring, but it’s not. Neither is that remark, really, but you’re not about to start questioning his wording now of all times when he’s said weirder things already.
“Besides,” Sun continues, “I know just the spot.”
Hearing this, you expect to be brought back to his cabin, but when he instead decidedly walks you right past it your mind begins to wander in every direction (none of them good) for just where oh where he could be taking you. Thankfully, your answer hangs a short matter of footfalls away.
“A hammock?” You follow Sun’s gaze towards the ratty old thing, which somehow looks even more worse for ware up close. Its pale color bites into the bark of two trees that appear to have been gnawed at for some years now, providing you with a very clear picture for just how long the ropes have been resting there.
“The hammock,” he corrects, beaming with unfounded pride. “This bundle of knots could hold a whole cabin of campers back in the day.”
“And now?” You shoot it a wary look, distrust written all over your face.
Nevertheless, Sun regards you with nothing but confidence. “Try it for yourself!” He insists. Before that, though, he takes a firm hold of one side and gives it a good, hearty shake. Both of you elect to ignore the cloud of dust that arises from it.
The hammock, now looking two shades paler than before, greets you like the open and expectant arms of an old relative that always smells of too much perfume and holds on for a little too long. You would hate to disappoint him, of course, so what other choice do you have?
It sags immediately, groaning under your weight, but thankfully holds fast. That alone defies expectations already.
“Go on,” Sun encourages. He’s far too giddy about this for your liking. “Give it a proper lie-down. You want the full experience!”
Do you, though?
The old knots pinch at your sides as you reluctantly find your way onto your back, wincing as the body of rope whines and sinks further towards the ground. Then comes the hardest part; your left leg swings into the hammock all at once, like you’re mounting a horse. All that’s left is for your right leg — that is, your only remaining source of balance — to follow. You steel yourself, preparing a breath, and your foot leaves the ground.
The hammock rolls, inevitably, spitting you out like tough gristle. You brace for cold earth but are instead caught in Sun’s doting arms like he’d been expecting this. It wouldn’t be so bad if you didn’t land a warm breath’s distance from his face.
“Oopsie-daisy!” giggles Sun, all but beaming down at you like you’re no different from the trophy sized crappie he’d caught just that morning. “This thing can be so fickle, sometimes. The kids got a real kick out of its spirit, but nobody could ever tame the thing good and proper. I should have warned you, but — well, where’s the fun in that?”
If you were anywhere else you’d have stomped your foot like — well, like a rabbit, actually, but as it stands you’re too close for comfort, and still cradled some feet off the ground, to boot. It’s all you can do just to exchange nervous laughter as he finally, thankfully, sets you back on your own two feet.
“Oh, I have an idea!” He chimes. “Why don’t I get in first?”
You dust the strings of loose rope from your clothes and try to ignore the implications of what he’s suggesting. “Actually, Sun, I think it might be better if I head back to the others—”
“Nonsense! Here, look at this!”
He collapses into the heap of fiber like a child, trusting that the old hammock will hold his weight just fine and, somehow, miraculously, it does just that. Groans of strained rope aside, of course.
When all but one of his feet are inside, Sun turns, angling his face so the rays on his head aren’t caught between rope, and beckons you forward.
“See, easy as pie,” he tells you. “Now get over here!”
“Sun, I don’t think—”
“It’ll hold,” he assures you. What’s more, he ushers you towards him with a wave of his hand. His other hand, to your utmost embarrassment, eagerly pats at his lap.
For one small, short-lived moment, you wrestle with the idea of letting the campground killer get to you instead. Handing over the knife for your own gutting would be less nerve wracking than this.
It seems you’ve run out of time, however, and Sun has run out of patience, because you’re grabbed at without a second thought and hauled into the hammock, leaving you no time to overthink the matter until you’re up against him, chest to chest, hip to hip, red cheek to smug grin.
Sun has the gall to snicker as his foot leaves the ground to join you, and the hammock sways, forcing you to hold on to rope and metal and hope like you’re going to be flung to the ground a second time.
But you don’t. Opening your eyes one wary squint at a time, you find that Sun has you, the hammock, and himself for that matter all perfectly balanced. It swings with a slow, casual lull.
“See?” His arm pries itself from your iron grip long enough to boop you in the nose. “Silly little thing. You should learn to trust me, I think.”
You nod. Then nod again. A quick and shaky motion that makes up for the lack of a functioning tongue when your world still feels like it’s spinning. Now more than ever.
“Relaaaaaax, bunny.” His hand drifts above your head and out of sight. Cold, metal fingers sneak beneath your hair to curl over the back of your neck, and he brings you down, down, down, gentle as can be, until your cheek is flush against his chest. “I’m sure you’re exhausted, hm?” He awaits your nod, smile widening when he receives it without any fuss. “Rest, then. I’ll watch over you all night if you’d like.”
Following a deep breath, you somehow rediscover your words, small as they may be. “Is it really safe?”
He tucks you closer, wrapping his free hand around your waist. The warmth in his plating, contrasting the cold, nipping air, is enough on its own to have your eyes drooping already. To your right the creek flows, a distant and calming lull. Crickets sing lullabies between the trees. Beneath your ear, the telltale whir of a fan hums like a heartbeat.
“You’re safe with me,” he whispers, voice stirring your hair.
Ultimately, the heaviness in your bones makes the decision for you, and all warning bells fall on tired, deaf ears as you allow yourself to fully slump into his arms. The dust that clings to his chassis and the quiet, lulling hum tucked in the back of his throat wraps you in feelings of security. You’re content to let him have his way, if only for the night.
The present is dangerously uncertain, but here, in his kind embrace, he makes it feel like home.
friends and i were talking about an alternative ending to a scene in DFtR chapter 2 (when you're barricaded out of the rec room) and i enjoyed the concept of the alt scene so much that i wrote it. very short and kind of mid but would you guys want it anyway?

Hey so I just read the Laser Tag AU and maaaan, now I really want to play Splatoon smh aksksjjdjs
Anywayyy my point is: may I request more hcs but with the other boyos (Childe, Albedo, Bennett, Razor, Chongyun, Xingqiu and maybe Aether if you do him too xD)
Laser Tag ( genshin x reader )
Summary - Genshin characters playing laser tag with you their s/o.
Pairings - Reader x Childe/Bennett/Razor/Chongyun/Albedo/Scaramouche
Warnings - Mention of guns and shooting.
A/N - Added in Scaramouche- But I couldn’t think of anything for Xingqiu. I can surprisingly see the majority of the Genshin boys being good at wielding guns, even though they’d probably suck lol
Laser Tag
Childe
Childe is a beast.
Whether it’s in the terrain of his battlefield, or the streets of Liyue playing laser tag, Childe plays to win. He’s always been the competitive type, enjoying the thrill of battle, or in this case, laser tag.
He loves the game.
And of course, you just have to end up on the opposite team as him.
This game is the perfect setup for an enemies to lovers kind of vibe btw. With him shooting at your comrades and eliminating them from left to right, and you doing the same for his team. Very few people stand against him in this game, and his accuracy and sense of battle.
The two of you will spend the entirety of the game playing cat and mouse. Childe chasing after you while you simply escape his sights every time, taking down his teammates while you’re at it.
Childe isn’t as interested in winning, and once you prove to be worthy of a decent laser tag battle, he tries his best to force you to confront him.
Of course you on the other hand take his reckless behaviour to your advantage to turn the game in your favour and strike down his team. You know it’ll piss him off later when you win.
However, it Childe does manage to catch you…
The two of you will fight, that much is obvious. Dodging and attacking him, he will get very into it. Maybe a little too much, but you don’t give in, not until the very end.
Not until he’s on top of you, the two of you toppled over a bunch of hay that cushions your fall when he crashes into you. Not until he’s holding the plastic revolver against your temple, staring straight into your eyes with his signature smirk.
He might sneak a little kiss in there just to throw you off.
But in the end he will make sure he wins, or rather, he eliminates you. He doesn’t care if he doesn’t win the entirety of the game, taking you down was satisfactory enough, and he feels well accomplished and content after.
Would definitely rub it in your face.
If you brush it off as something you didn’t really try in, be prepared to be pinned against the wall and kissed until you admit that you were in fact, doing your best. And yes, he won fair and square.
Bennett
Omg this precious boy-
Bennett will try his hardest, stick by your side and shoot at any approaching target. Considering that the two of you are on the same team, he will promise to protect you.
With one problem.
No matter how well he aims, whether it is going to hit his target or not, the lazer disagrees. Rather, his terrible luck absolutely ruins it and somehow his lazer point ends up somewhere completely else.
“It changed its direction completely!”
Well… you never know, maybe it’s the gun that sends the lazers ray so far off, but considering it’s Bennett, you know it’s no coincidence.
So you end up protecting him.
Dragging him from place to place and shooting down your opponents, the two of you spend your time tripping over random large ass rocks ( with only Bennett’s terrible luck to blame ) and attacking opponents.
You make sure that Bennett is not shot, no matter what. And you give everyone else a terrible glare that basically screams that if they shoot him, they’ll face your wrath.
Nobody shoots Bennett.
By the end of the game, he’ll be grinning ear to ear. And even if he didn’t manage to eliminate anyone, he’ll boast about how his amazing dodging skills pulled him through the game. You’ll agree, lacing an arm around his shoulders and pulling him to the good Hunter to get a good meal.
Just to buy one though, the poor boy can’t cook for his life.
Razor
“Razor… very confused.”
The wolf boy has difficulty with the rules of the game, but the concept of pointing the gun at an opponent and shooting them with a lazer isn’t too hard to grasp.
You find out very quickly that Razor is actually pretty good with aim.
His hands don’t shake for one, and he is so adept to his surroundings that people struggle finding the source of their depleting health. Despite being overall confused at how to play, Razor easily becomes one of the main players taking opponents down.
As someone on his team, he makes sure to keep you by his side the entire time. He understands the elimination part, and he doesn’t want his lupical to get taken out, even if it’s a game.
He can be oddly affectionate at certain times, pushing your face against his chest as he takes out the remaining players in the field you both are in. He will carry you, and take no hesitation when pulling you out of the way, even if it’s a little too rough.
When the game ends, it might take a while to explain to the poor boy that your team won. And that it was a good thing.
Razor will begin to smile when he notices how content you are with it.
Chongyun
This man has the audacity to wield a gun while licking his ‘popsicle.’
Like goddamnit Chongyun, being good at shooting is already a flex, you don’t have to nibble at your popsicle while you’re at it.
You can’t really blame him though, it’s hot outside, and with the sun beaming down on the poor boy's head you know he can’t stand it. Especially with all the adrenaline and yells from opposing teams.
As someone on the same team as him, you take on the job of Chongyun’s personal popsicle restocker, and shooting anyone down once he gets tired. As good as the boy is at shooting, he sucks at keeping himself unknown to the other players.
So you take on the job to make sure they don’t shoot him down.
The two of you are a good team, and if it gets too hot, Chongyun might even let you have one of his popsicles. Of course you don’t have his talent of being able to shoot while having a popsicle in your mouth-
Your team will end up losing though, and even though Chongyun isn’t bothered, he will be slightly worried if you care. The two of you were obviously trying your best, and as long as you both had fun that’s all that matters to him.
But if it really bothers you that much…
He knows you feel comforted by physical contact, so he’ll hold your hand and offer a comforting smile. Tell you that you played well, and that he had fun.
That cheers you up right away.
Kiss him on the cheek please, even though he will flinch at the contact, his cheeks are flushed red and he won’t admit it. But he likes it.
Albedo
Why is it so easy to picture Albedo as a hot sexy stoic mafioso wielding a gun?
Anyways, Albedo is terribly good at wielding a gun. So good at that he only holds the plastic revolver with one hand, never missing a shot as he walks down the streets of Monstadt.
He knows the area well, so good luck trying to sneak up on him. The way his eyes so carelessly sweep the buildings, it hardly looks like he’s trying. Eliminating players with his lasers as he mindlessly strides past the fountain.
Of course, you’re against him.
Albedo isn’t really motivated to play, he’d rather be in his lab experimenting or recording down his discoveries. But he was dragged into this mess, he might as well play his part and support his team.
Albedo won’t hesitate to shoot at you and take you down.
As much as you may be important to you, he plays this game fair and square. He will take you down, or rather, he will try, because you get creative :)
He knows Monstadt well, but he can’t possibly keep his eye on all angles around him. So you’ll aim for his blind spots, throw yourself at him and tackle him to the ground. Simply eliminating him isnt satisfying enough, you need more.
So you turn this into a little game to fluster him.
Tackle him and pin him down, watch him scramble for the gun and then give him a peck on the lips. Watch as his grip loosens, and one of his hands instinctively come to nestle against your hair to pull you closer, and then you pull away.
Watching his idle confusement turn into a light blush on his cheeks is just too good, and how he grows even redder when you start laughing is even better.
Of course his team wins, not that he cares.
The minute the game ends he’s back in his office, conducting experiments. You can go interrupt him though, sneak into his office and press a kiss against his neck. He doesn’t often react or do much to it, but after your linger kiss at the game, he will pull you close and sit you on his lap. Have a proper make out session after you left him hanging with that peck earlier ;)
Scaramouche
This little man is ‘terrifying’.
It’s scary enough that whether you’re against him or on the same team as him, you keep your distance.
“Are you avoiding me Y/n?”
You play on the same team, and even if he’s your boyfriend, you know better than to stay too close when it comes to battle. He shows his cruelty, and you really weren’t looking forward to be put in the middle of that.
‘Unfortunately you didn’t have a choice-‘
Scaramouche will literally drag you, a hand looped around your waist to tug you to his side and take you along with him as he takes down opponents after opponents. He doesn’t ask for your praise, but you still give him it knowing he appreciates it. Mentally.
When he’s tired or bored, he will lean his head on your shoulder, wait there for a bit before jumping back up and shooting a random straggler on the sides. Heavens knows how the boy knows he was there, it’s like he has some sixth sense.
We don’t even want to get into his accuracy and precision, Scaramouche is born a mafioso.
At the end when your team wins, no surprise, give him a hug. Tell him he did well and even if he tries to push away, hold him tight. Even though he could easily pull your arms away if he wanted to, he’ll just pretend to give a little struggle and then give in to your warmth.

Note
I know requests are closed so this isn’t a request I just had an idea based off an ask you got about hawks and the Todoroki clan. What if the reader escaped from yandere Todoroki clan (Dabi scared the reader/took it too far with the threats, or because endeavor and the brothers had a fight and the reader got scared)and they ran into hawks, crying and panicked thinking that he would help. But hawks recognizes them from the pictures in endeavors desk and offers them a lift to somewhere safe. Only for hawks to fly the reader back to the Todoroki estate where the whole family is waiting for them.
The reader feels hurt and betrayed and everyone is angry, but hawks being hawks tries to diffuse the situation by saying,”stop scaring the poor kid. They came to me scared out of their mind, but being the outstanding godfather that I am, I made sure to bring them back safely.” (Or something like that)
And endeavor just accepts that hawks claimed himself as the readers godfather, and tells the reader to get inside and to clean up.
So now hawks takes it upon himself to hang around the estate more to fulfill his “godfather” duties, spoiling the reader as much as he can.
Yandere Godfather Hawks x Todoroki clan reader
I was going to write boyfriend Hawks, instead of Godfather Hawks but this was just too good. I kinda thought that the age gap between Hawks and reader would be too much so maybe Godfather would be a better role for him, but the chaos that would follow if they find him dating reader would be just *chef's kiss*. I think I just might write bf Hawks too. Let me know what you guys think.
Anyways, enjoy!
Check out my MASTERLIST here!
Yandere Hawks:
You didn't know how long you had been running for. You didn't know how far you had gotten away from their house. You didn't even know where you were going, to be honest. But you did know that you had to get away from there as far as you could.
Sure, you only had a few hours headstart. But for them, the most powerful family in Japan, this wasn’t enough time for you.
You had planned your escape with their schedule in mind.
Enji would come home from his office at 9pm; he used to return at 11, but ever since you were kidnapped adopted by them, he tries to come home early.
Natsuo had already visited you during the day. He habitually comes after his shift at the hospital. Once he would check you over for any injuries and be satisfied with your overall health, he would join you, Rei and Fuyumi for a quick lunch before leaving.
Usually, you would spend the day with Rei, Fuyumi and Shotou, then Enji would come by the time dinner was served. And once everyone went to sleep, Dabi would come to visit you around 2 am. He would tap on your window and disturb you from your sleep, but its not like you have any engagements in the morning anyways. Once you would let him in, he would talk to you and maybe watch a movie too. If he's pissed, he might "accidentally" leave a burn mark on your arm (and you've tried asking your family for help, but they wouldn't do anything. Natsuo would just bandage you up, while Shotou would comfort you. Besides, you've learned not to snitch on Dabi because he would even get angrier than before.)
That was your routine ever since they had took you, almost 7 months ago. Well, they had actually adopted you an year ago, and everything was going well. But then you started noticing their odd behaviour. You thought they were just being protective of you at first, but as time went on, their obsessive tendencies and no regard for your personal boundaries started weirding you out.
Then one day, they just stopped letting you out of the house. No matter how much you cried, begged or fought, they just wouldn't let you go outside, telling that you its for your own good.
At first, they would use cuffs to keep you bound since you fought so much. But then you started behaving, and they slowly started trusting you more and stopped putting on the restraints.
What they didn't know was that you were just biding your time, waiting for the perfect opportunity to escape. Like today.
Shotou had to go to his friend's house to work on a school project, so he wasn't able to join you at lunch today and would be coming home late.
After lunch, once Natsuo had left, you asked Fuyumi if she could go to the mall and buy you some books. You had been complaining to her about your boredom for quite sometime now, so she agreed and left to go shop for you.
So that only left you with Rei in the house. And while she had a weaker quirk than the rest of the family, your quirkless self was no match for her either.
But she was easier to fool. You told Rei that you were going to take a nap in your room and to call you when dinner was ready. Rei nodded before going to the kitchen to start preparing for dinner.
You went to your room and opened the window to get out. It used to be bolted shut but after months of working on it slowly but stealthily, you had managed to pop it open. It was 6, and you were sure Fuyumi and Shotou would be coming home by 7, so without having anytime to pack, you ran.
It was stupid. You should've at least gotten your coat and shoes on, but there was no guarantee a chance like this would appear again, so you left without them.
You kind of regret it now, as you winced in pain at all the rocks and twigs pressing into your bare feet. You shivered in the cold, which didn't bother you at first because of the adrenaline pumping through your veins, but now as you slid against a dumpster in an alley to give a break to your legs, you wished Rei could've given you some proper clothes, instead of the light, pastel pink dress. In her defence, the house was centrally heated during winters so you didn't really need warm clothes inside the house. But now, looking at the dark clouds forming in the sky, you wished she could've at least given you a sweater.
It had soon started raining, and the wind had picked up as well. Shivering, you decided to stay put by the dumpster and wait until it stopped. It would be easier for them to find you if you ran now because the streets will be empty because of the rain. And its not like you could go to a police station either. How will you explain to them that the no.1 hero had kidnapped you?
Sighing, you closed your eyes. You just have to vanish from their eyes until they give up on you, or at least find someone else to replace you.
Hawks was flying home when it had begun raining. Tutting, he flew back to the ground to walk his way home. It was dangerous to fly during the rain; his feathers would get heavy and weigh him down.
As he was walking, whistling to himself, he heard someone whimper in the alley to his left. He walked in the dark alley, bracing himself for any sudden movements. The little whimpers came from near the dumpster. The alley had no light, so he couldn't see much. He walked closer to the source of whimpers and he could make out a silhouette of a shivering girl, who was completely drenched. Her eyes were closed so she hadn't noticed Hawks yet.
He took a step closer. "Hey. You okay?" As soon Hawks voice reached her ears, she snapped her eyes open and backed away from him. Hawks backed up a bit, raising his hands in surrender. "Its okay. I'm a hero." He said, calmly.
Once she seemed recognise him, or at least realise he wasn't dangerous, she relaxed a bit. "What are you doing in the rain?"he asked. She paused for a bit, before replying in a tiny voice,"none of your business." Hawks smiled. "It kinda is. Now you can either tell me, or I can take you to the cops and you can tell them. What's it gonna be?"
Your breath hitched at his question. If he takes you to the cops, Enji will surely find you, and the punishment that will be waiting for you...you didn't even want to think about it. "I'm just...running." you mumbled, hoping he would leave you alone. "From who?" When you didn't reply, he sighed. "Okay. Can you tell me why you're running?"
You thought for a bit. Would he believe if you told him the truth? You knew he was close friends with Enji and you heard from Enji that he was very loyal to him, so you doubted that he would believe you if you told him the no. 1 hero had been holding you hostage for 7 months. But maybe he could help you. If you just tell him that someone's after you, then maybe he could drop you off somewhere safe?
Gulping, you answered. "I- I was kidnapped. And they've probably noticed that I'm missing now and- and I need to hide before they can find me. I can't, I can't go back there-" your voice broke down as you slowly started crying.
Hawks's eyes widened as he heard you confess. He hugged you, rubbing your back soothingly. "Shh, its okay. I'm here now. Tell me who it is." You shook your head no. "Don’t be afraid. I'll keep you safe. Just tell me who-" "No!"you cut him off, realising that you would be putting his life in danger if you told him the truth. The Todorokis have done it before, with your old family and friends; you have no doubt that they will do it again.
Hawks was taken aback by your outburst. Who were you so afraid of? Was it a crazy ex? Or a family member? Maybe you had gotten in trouble with the wrong crowd? Whoever it was, fear was evident in your voice. He had to help you.
"Okay. I'm sorry. How about we get out of the rain? Maybe to a cafe, where we can get a coffee to warm ourselves up?" He asked you again, trying to look at your face in the dark. You shook your head again, before speaking. "Could you- could you just get me out of this city? Or at least as far away from here as possible?"
Who were you so scared of that you wanted to leave the city? He could investigate that later, but first he needed to get you out of the rain.
He nodded. "Alright. It should stop raining anytime now, so I can't fly you out right now. How about we walk to my apartment and warm ourselves and then, I could take you anywhere you want?"
This was the best you were going to get. You know you need to leave the city right now, but he was your only chance of leaving. So you agreed. Hawks smiled at that. "Can you walk?"he asked you. You nodded, but as soon as you took a step, you yelped in pain, almost falling down. Thankfully, Hakws was near to catch you. He laughed. Noticing your chattering teeth, he gave you his jacket. "You're going to catch a cold." Once you had worn his big, warm jacket, he lifted you up into his arms and started walking out of the alley and towards his home.
As he got out of the alley, the street lights finally illuminated your face.
You looked familiar, like he'd seen you before, but he can't seem to remember where he saw you. His eyes scanned your face. Your brows were furrowed in worry, and you kept looking over his shoulder. You looked scared, almost like a child. Looking down, he noticed your pink dress was completely ruined. He moved his gaze to your feet. They were bleeding, due to the stones, twigs and broken glass that had pierced them. Your legs had tiny burns, some had faded, others looked still fresh.
Were you being abused? Is that why you're running? He wanted to ask you these questions but he knew he had to wait for you to open up.
"Thank you."your tiny voice brought him back to reality. Hawks gave his famous heroic smile. "No problem." You gave a tiny smile of your own. It was kind. "Why do you keep looking back?"he asked you. Your eyes widened slightly, looking like a kid who got caught stealing cookies. "Are you worried about them taking you away again?"he asked, not really sure who he was referring to. You started tearing up again. Your lips wobbled as you slowly nodded your head. He stopped walking, causing you to look up to him. "Its okay. I promise I'll never let anyone hurt you again. I promise." His voice held such sincerity, you started crying into his chest as you kept on thanking him.
Hawks meant every word. He's going to make sure nobody ever lays a finger on you. How could anyone harm such a sweet thing like you?
He rubbed your shoulder with one hand to calm you down. Once you had stopped crying, he spoke again. "Hey, look. It stopped raining." You looked up and he was right; the sky had cleared up. "Well, are you ready to fly?" You smiled slightly before nodding. He told you to hold on to him tightly, and you buried your face into his chest before he took off.
Once you guys were in the air, Hawks told you to open your eyes. You did and the view was breathtaking. Tall buildings and sky scrapers were all over the city, and tiny lights from cars and street lamps looked like stars. It looked like a scene from an anime. Really pretty.
"Wow."you finally said. Hawks chuckled at that. Your looked like you just saw Santa. So adorable.
"I'm glad you like it."he said, as he started flying towards his home. You smiled. "Hey! You never told me your name."he said, mocking fake surprise.
You giggled at that. "I'm Y/n."
And just like that, Hawks finally remembered where he had seen you.
A year ago Endeavour had asked him to find everything he can on this one particular girl. Hawks thought that maybe you were linked to some case, but your records were clean, so he thought that maybe Enji was just looking for someone for Shotou. Hawks thought it was weird when you suddenly disappeared from the public eye a month later. He tried to ask Enji about you but he would just brush him off, telling him he had mistook you for someone else. It was odd, but Hawks eventually let go of it.
Wait. Does that mean Enji had been hurting you? No, that can't be it. Enji had been working with him on a lot of missions abroad, and the burn marks on your legs were rather fresh.
"Whats wrong?"your soft voice brought him out of his thoughts. "Hmm? Oh nothing. Why do you ask?"Hawks faked a smile. You stared at him. Something was off. "Nothing. Its just you were lost in your thoughts, I guess."
Hawks laughed at that. "You’re really observant, aren't you?" Deciding to test out his theory, he continued. "Well, you're right. I was thinking about a work colleague. You might've heard of him. Endeavour, hm?"
At the sound of his name, you stiffened, confirming his suspicion. You were connected to him somehow. Hawks didn't know how, but he was going to figure it out. "Um, y-yeah. He's the no.1 h- hero, right?"the fear in your voice had returned, although you were trying hard to hide it.
Hawks nodded. "Yeah!" He had to find out how you were linked to Enji. Suddenly, he turned around and started flying back where you guys had started.
"W-what are you doing? Why are we going back?"you asked him. He looked down at you and replied, "we need to get bandages for your wounds. Otherwise your feet will get infected." You nodded. "Oh. Okay." With that you closed your eyes to prevent them from drying against the wind.
After maybe half an hour or so, you opened your eyes to look where you guys were flying to. You looked down and to your horror, saw a familiar house coming up. You looked at Hawks and he seemed to know what you were thinking. "We're going down there."he nodded his head towards the Todoroki estate. Your eyes grew wide, and your body started trembling. "No! No! We- we can't! We can't go there!" You started shaking your head. "And why not?"Hawks stopped flying towards the estate, simply flapping his wings to remain in the air. You just shook your head. "We can't. I can't. Just drop me off somewhere else. I'll be fine on my own." Hawks wanted to know the real reason. He frowned. "Tell me the truth right now or I'll take you down there this instant."
You gulped, his eyes were showing that he wasn't bluffing. Your eyes started to glisten with unshed tears as you finally told him the truth. You told him everything; about how Enji had kidnapped you, how he got rid of your real family, how he and Rei had tried to keep you a secret from everyone, how their kids found out about you but instead of helping you out, became attached to you just like their parents, about how the famous villian Dabi was Enji's son and how he would sometimes burn you. By the time you were done, tears were flowing down your cheeks as Hawks tried to process what you had just confessed to him.
"Do you trust me?"he suddenly asked you. You looked at him confused. "What?" He repeated again. "Do you trust me?" Did you? Honestly, not that much, but he was the only one who was going to help you so you slowly nodded. "Yes?" Not really sure of it yourself but Hawks accepted the answer anyways. "Good." As soon as he said that, he started flying again, towards the house. You started thrashing in his arms again. "No! You said you wouldn't take me back here! You said you wouldn't!"you were full on sobbing against him, trying to wring yourself free from his vice grip, but Hawks was neither listening nor relenting his tight hold on you.
You looked down and that's when you saw them. Enji, Rei, all of them, were standing in the garden looking at you and Hawks. Even Dabi was there. Rei must've panicked and called everyone. And from the look on his- everyone's face, you could tell you were in deep trouble.
You thrashed in Hawks arms, begging him to fly away, but he didn't listen to you at all.
Once you reached the ground, you didn't pull your head out of Hawk's chest. You don't want to see their rage or the punishments they have planned for you.
"Hey, Endeavour!" Hawks broke the silence first. "Mrs Todoroki. Kids." He nodded towards them. "Hawks. Who do you have there?"Enji asked, pretending as if he doesn't know you. Hawks laughed. "You don't have to pretend! I know everything." At this, Dabi activated his quirk, ready to cremate him but was stopped by Shotou.
Thinking that this was some sort of blackmail, Enji asked, "What do you want? Money?"
Hawks smirked. "Nope! Look, I know you kidnapped her and all but you are providing her a good life, right?" He paused to look at them. Everyone nodded. He continued. "And you're just keeping her home to protect her from harm?" Again, everyone nodded. "But she still managed to escape you all even though she's quirkless and you all are not."
"Get to the fucking point."Dabi said impatiently.
Hawks sighed. "Clearly, you need all the help you can get. You need me. I can help you help her keep safe and healthy!" He paused, before his eyes lit up. "I can't have my goddaughter getting hurt again." Everyone looked at him weirdly. Goddaughter?
"How about you hand her over and you'll still be able to fly." Dabi threatened, blue flames engulfing his hands. Hawks laughed again. He was right. It wasn't Enji who giving you those nasty burns, it was Dabi. "If something happens to me, I have enough evidence gathered against you" he pointed to Dabi, "and then cops will get involved and maybe take away Y/n away."
The threat of someone taking you away from them, made their heart drop. Rei, who had been previously sobbing, put a hand on Dabi's shoulder, telling him to calm down.
Hawks grinned at Enji, raising his eyebrows. "So what will it be, Endeavour?"
Enji understood the ultimatum Hawks was giving him. Either let him in the family or risk losing you to the authorities. And he knew Hawks wasn't one to make empty threats.
Enji's eyes snapped to you. You were trying to bury yourself into Hawks chest, trying to hide from them. He wasn't that mad at you for running, more worried if anything. Had his family really spooked you that much? He'll have to worry about that later. First he needs to get you back into his and Rei's arms.
Enji sighed, before nodding. "Fine. We'll do it your way."
Hawks beamed at that. "Great!" He was glad that Enji had accepted. "Now, you need to take Y/n in before she catches a cold; although I'm certain she already has. Oh and tend to her bloody feet too! Poor thing was just running around barefoot." He chuckled. Shotou moved forward to take you from Hawks but you clung tightly to Hawks shoulders.
"Please. Please. Just take me out of here. Please." You whispered to him, fresh tears pricking your eyes now.
You looked so scared. Your eyes were saucer wide, nose red from cold and cheeks flush. Fear. That was were you emitting. But the longer he looked at your face, he found something else too. Hope. Innocence. Naivety. And while fear was the predominant emotion, the latter were the ones that he wanted to protect. "Hawks." Enji's voice broke him out from his trance. Hawks smiled. Addressing you, he started rubbing soothing circles to your back. "Hey. Hey. Its okay, princess." You kept on crying, your eyes begging him to whisk you away anywhere but here. You looked so much like him when he was little. So afraid. "Listen, do you remember what I promised you?" You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion. You're so endearing. "I promised you that I'll never let anyone hurt you again, didn't I?" You nodded slowly. "I intent on keep that promise, dove. Infact I'll talk to your dad tonight! But you need to go in and take warm bath. I don't want you getting sick, okay?"
You had seemed to calm down as you slowly nodded and let him hand you over to Shotou, who quickly ushered you in, with Natsuo, Rei and Fuyumi quickly following behind, leaving Hawks with Dabi and Enji.
"Lets go to your office, Endeavour! I have to go over some details as Y/n's new godfather." Enji nodded and went inside to go to his home office. Hawks was about to follow but was stopped by Dabi. "What game are you playing, you freak?"
Hawks chuckled, before swiftly pulling out a very sharp feather and pressing it against Dabi's jugular. "I'm just here to make sure that no one hurts Y/n again. And if I see another scorch mark on her, I'll find you and carve your skin into ribbons."
Tumblr media
I will be accepting requests and asks for godfather hawks and Todoroki clan!
Oh and don't worry, I'm working on part 2 of rei hurting the reader. It'll be done soon! :)

safe enough to fall
a little university-themed thing I wrote using @sicktember prompts: comfort item, sneaky temperature check, medicine, unlikely caregiver, and lightly inspired by these prompts
the grip of the winter’s cold was their constant, unrelenting companion - but sometimes, B just wished it would be a little less faithful.
It doesn’t ease in the morning, when B wakes up coughing with a cold nose and stiff limbs. It stays as B shivers through the lukewarm shower and the hurried layering of clothes over damp, goosebumped skin. It sticks to them like cling wrap on the bus, in the lecture hall, the windy walk to their next class, makes them tense their rattling jaw, and leaves them hunched over and huddled up, desperate to conserve any scrap of heat.
This was a fact of their university existence - that after the pleasant crispness of fall, their poor, scholarship-funded body was plunged into four months of frozen hell. They didn’t like to complain - after all, they were getting a free education. But no one told them how brutal their university’s winters would be, nor that dorm heating was little more than a few puffs of warm air every hour, or that regardless of how many layers they pulled on, they’d be chilled to the bone until late March.
Their final class of the week is in a drafty science lab, and they hold back a groan. The cold's not the only source of their dread - it was the thought of spending 90 minutes with their perky, overly friendly lab partner, A.
A, whose parents were well-off, well-known benefactors of their university. A, who lived in a nice house with proper heating and had the money for a warm winter coat. A, who obliviously chattered on about anything and everything. Besides that, they were just so...happy. All the time.
The can afford to be, B thought miserably. There was no way all that sunshine could be real.
B really tried to tamp down their bitterness, but it was hard to listen to someone gush on about their amazing weekend their family spent on some tropical island when B spent the same weekend wrapped up in blankets, trying to stay warm enough to study their nomenclature notes.
Two minutes before class, A bounds into the lab like a freed golden retriever and begins their usual volley of caffeinated questions, which B responds to in short, clipped answers. Suddenly, the questions stop and A’s brows furrow.
“You look cold. Are you okay?”
B shifts on their stool and tucks their fingers into the sleeves of their worn secondhand coat, pulling it tighter with a shudder. “I am cold. It’s winter.” They cough weakly into their elbow - the nagging cough has gripped them for weeks now.
“Are you sick?”
Direct, then. That was new. “No. At least, I don’t think so. I don’t have a fever or anything.” In truth, they had been feeling a little lower than usual the past couple of days, the chill a little deeper, the aches more pronounced, the cough a bit more painful. But in their book, that was hardly enough call themselves sick. B sniffles and A opens their mouth to comment further, but the professor calls the class to attention, and the moment is gone.
90 minutes later, they’ve got their work cut out for them - a ten-page lab report that’s going to count for nearly a quarter of their final grade. And as luck would have it, it was a partner project, which meant B got to spend more time with the equivalent of human rocket fuel.
“So...do you want to just knock this out tonight?” A's eyes dart around nervously.
B frowns - it’s almost the weekend, and they figured A would have plans with friends this evening. But B sure doesn’t have anything going on., so they don’t protest. “No… I s’pose we should get as much done as possible while it’s still fresh. Want to go to the library?”
“Ugh." A cringes. "Do we have to? That place is like a tomb.”
B huffs indignantly. “It's not that bad," they mumble in a weak defense of their favorite study spot. A shoots them a glare, and B rolls their eyes. "Do you have somewhere better? It's Friday, so most places are closing up.”
“Well, my parents decided to go on some last-minute ski trip to the Alps again, so my place is free," A says as they step out into the biting wind. "Plus, I have a ton of food and it's actually warm in there, unlike these buildings.”
The promise of decent heating and food that wasn't from the dining hall was enough for B. "Fine. Your place." The pair trudge through the bitter wind as the sun begins to set, and soon they arrive at A's parents’ home - a beautiful, winding estate just a couple minutes away from campus. B has to bite their lip to keep their jaw off the ground - in the blustering snow, this place looks straight out of a Christmas card. Another reminder of how they don’t fit in this world.
Will you stop? B chastises themselves. A having money isn't a personal attack on you. Just enjoy the free food, finish the assignment and get over it.
Despite the towering exterior, B's house was quite cozy, colored in warm neutrals and filled with soft, comfortable furniture. Just past the mudroom, they spot a big living room filled with with an enormous overstuffed couch, squashy-looking pillows, and soft throw blankets. Everything about this place screams warm. A rubs their arms, suddenly aware of how cold they are. The heat nearly makes them dizzy, and they can feel the temperature difference as it seeps into their cold skin.
"Want some cocoa?" A tosses their bag into the corner and heads for an electric kettle in the kitchen, and B follows. "It always helps me warm up." B nods. A couple minutes later, A pushes over a steaming mug with the top entirely covered in marshmallows.
B wraps their chilled fingers around the mug and takes a sip, and the warm, rich liquid feels like heaven to their cold body. "That's amazing."
A smiles. "It's the good stuff." They sip in a surprising silence for a few moments, before A sighs in resignation. "As much as I wish this was just a social call, this report isn't gonna write itself." They grab a bag of popcorn and nod their head toward the living room, and B follows dutifully. A flicks on the gas fireplace and tosses B a throw blanket, and the pair gets to work.
------------------------------
After a couple hours of studying, three instances of indignantly thrown popcorn, and a dramatic reading of the periodic table, B realized that they may have misjudged A. Deep down, under the bubbly exterior, A was a genuinely kind, sweet person. It wasn't an act - they just were human sunshine. And the longer they spent time with them, the more B realized they didn't mind their company at all.
"Alright." A drops their pencil and rubs their eyes. "If I have to balance one more equation, my brain's gonna explode. Study break time." A flips on the TV and puts the volume on low.
B leans their head back on the couch and pulls their throw blanket to their chin, trying to ward off the shivery feeling in their core. Despite the heat of the fire, the mug of hot chocolate, and the thick blanket, they just can’t seem to get warm.
Their face feels hot, but their blood feels chilled and heavy, the weight of it making them ache deep down in their bones. B wraps their arms around their knees, trying to rub away the throbbing pain and get some warmth into their skin. They glance out the picture window at the now-blowing snow. It's gonna be a miserable walk home.
"B, you're shivering." A's turning to look at them now.
B startles. "It's-It's nothing. Just a chill." The concern in A's voice triggers their flight response. "I....I should probably get back to the dorms. It’s late–" They're cut off with a hacking cough that leaves them breathless and they wince at the ache in their chest.
"B, it's snowing, and you haven't even had dinner-"
"Where's my jacket?" They push themselves up and toss the throw blanket off, instantly regretting it as the air invades their pocket of hard fought warmth. They’re trembling and dizzy and desperately freezing, but they cannot stay here. Then, the world tilts and they fall back on to the couch. For a moment, they're just laying in an icy, spinning world, trying to catch their breath, when warmth suddenly envelops them.
A's tucking the same thick grey blanket around their shivering form. As they pull away, their hand lightly brushes over B's neck, then freezes. B twists away from the gentle touch, but it’s too late. Realization floods over A's face. Caught. "You lied. You are sick."
B groans, even as their fingers weave into the chunky knit and pull the warm layer closer. "A, please. Just let me go home. I'm probably contagious. You don't want me here."
"B, you look like death warmed over. I'm not sending you out in a blizzard when you're feverish like this. I won't do it." There's a spark in their eyes and a set to A's jaw that dares B to challenge them.
B leans back, defeated. Even though they want nothing more than to run out of this room, they're too weak to stand and too cold to move. So here they'll stay.
It's okay. Someone's here. You can give in now.
No. I can't. I can't let them see me like this.
What choice do you have? You already look awful. Let them help you.
A covers them with another blanket and places a gentle hand on their back, rubbing slowly. The firelight flickers, casting light and shadow across their solemn face. “B. Tell me what you're feeling, and I'll get you what you need.”
B swallows down the rising panic, the helpless vulnerability they feel, and takes a shallow, shaky breath. “I…I guess I just feel….not right. I’m always cold...but it's...worse.” They sniffle weakly, trying to still and order their swirling thoughts. “Chills, fever, cough, sore throat, kinda stuffed up. And it just hurts everywhere.”
A nods slowly, then leaves the room. They return in a few minutes with a few small bottles, carefully scanning the labels and holding them up for B to see.
“Can you take this? Any problems with this one?” B had to take a moment and match the brand names with their usual knockoff brands, but soon they had a couple over the counter medicines picked out, along with something for their cough.
A glances at the medicine labels once more. "This one says to take with food. I've got some leftover chicken and dumpling soup I can heat up - does that sound okay?"
B nods almost imperceptibly. "Sounds wonderful." A gets up to heat the soup, and B feels the anxiety rising in their stomach when they're not in the room with them. A returns with a mug and manages to gently spoon a few sips of broth into B's mouth before B starts falling asleep, clutching the grey blanket even tighter to their shoulders.
A smiles sadly. “That blanket's my favorite whenever I'm not feeling good. It's the best thing you could have to fight off what you’ve got. Trust me.”
B curls into the soft fabric. It was as if the warm environment of the apartment and the comfort of the blanket had been a signal that it was safe to leave survival mode, rest for a moment, open the floodgates that had been holding back whatever had been ailing them for weeks.
After B takes their medicine, A’s eyes shift awkwardly around the room. “So….when you’re sick, do you like having someone with you? Or do you want to be by yourself?”
A sudden rush of emotion crashes over B. They’d so rarely had the choice. It takes all they’ve got not to throw themselves around A and beg them not to leave. “Stay, please,” they ask in a small, trembling voice. “If it’s not too much trouble.”
A smiles halfway and gently pats B’s leg. “Seeing as how I live here, I don’t think that’ll be a problem.” They take their spot at the end of the couch and pull B’s legs over their own, flicking the TV to a familiar movie. B tries to keep up with the plot, but they keep falling in and out of a fitful, restless sleep, tossing, turning, unable to get comfortable enough.
When B’s about ready to cry from exhaustion, A’s there, covering them up with another blanket, bringing them a glass of water, gently stroking the damp hair off their forehead before laying a cold cloth over it. They flinch at first, but the cool dampness eases the fire of their fever, even for just a moment. The last thing B remembers before falling unconscious is a gentle hand squeezing theirs.
It could be minutes or hours later when they jolt awake from a fever dream in a cold sweat, choking and coughing. They’ve kicked off their blankets and the cloth is nowhere to be found, but the chills are back in full force. A appears in B’s blurred vision, hand held to B’s forehead. “Poor thing. Your fever’s worse,” they murmur.
B’s still gasping for breath, curled up in the fetal position, body wracked by the shakes as they try force the words through their chattering teeth. “A...It's so cold. I’m so scared.”
If B was more lucid, they’d see something in A’s eyes crack wide open at their weak, fearful cries. A pulls the trusted grey blanket from the floor and wraps it back around B, rubbing their arms to try and make them feel warmer. There's something in the tenderness of the gesture, and B’s panicked gasps turn into soft, quiet sobs. They try and cover their face with one hand, but A’s hand is there, catching their wrist and wiping the tears away with their thumb.
“Hey. You’re gonna be okay. We just gotta get through tonight, alright?” A’s voice matches their usual cheery demeanor, but B can see the fear in their own eyes. They don’t know what they’re doing either.
“Why are you helping me?” B whispers in a tear-roughened voice.
A shrugs. "You're sick. You need help. Is it that so surprising?"
B's eyes flash a delirious spark. "You don't get it. I'm a broke scholarship student. I'm nothing like you. I'm not fun, or bubbly, or rich, or any of those things you are, and I don't fit in here. So why?"
B can't stop the words now, every single insecurity laid bare. "Why do you try to talk to me when I'm nothing but rude to you? Why'd you invite me here? Am I just a project to you? Why are you helping me? I'm not worth it!" The words spill out before B can stop them, and the raw hurt in A's eyes nearly rips B's heart out of their chest.
B claps their hand over their mouth, tears flooding their eyes. Now they've done it. They've laid it all out there. A's gonna kick them to the curb. And B won't blame them one bit.
But instead, A just looks at them, and pulls B into a hug. Their voice wavers only a bit as they whisper in B's ear: "You're not a project. You are completely worth being cared for. And you’re not the only one who knows what it feels like to not fit somewhere. Trust me.”
Alone. In a big, empty house. Studying on a Friday night. No plans of their own.
A, are you lonely, too?
Their words are so simple.
And yet they're everything B didn't know they needed to hear. A's got one arm around their shoulders, and one hand threaded through their sweaty, fever-damp hair, and they're cradling B so tightly it’s like they're the one who needs to be held.
B can't find the words to apologize or comfort them back. They're too tired for that. But they wrap their other arm around A and let their head rest on their shoulder. They stay like that for ages until their head begins to drop, and A shifts so they’re both laying down, B curled against A, A’s arm wrapped around their shoulders as they tuck a blanket around them both.
And finally, finally, B lets go. It's safe to fall, this time around. Because for the first time, there's someone there to catch them.

Loud music and hard of hearing conspiracy
~~~
An Unidentified Flying Ship one shot
~~~
The music was blaring loudly but from the hallway at least it was a little muffled. Not entirely, Wes could still pick out the words to whatever awful pop song was playing if he focused but it was muted enough that he could at least ignore it.
How did I end up here?
A week ago everything had been fine, normal. Then everything went downhill.
It started when everyone was getting hyped about prom because it was only a week away. What was once an occasional subject that was mentioned once or twice in conversation quickly dominated the forefront of everyone's minds.
Of course with it came everyone talking about dates and Wes had rolled his eyes at the relationship drama that would proceed the school dance.
"What about you Wes?" His twin brother Kyle had asked.
Wes at the time was glaring at Fenton from across the cafeteria, totally zoned out from the world around him and whatever conversation was going on at the table but his brother's question had reeled him back in.
He blinked, turning his attention to Kyle who sat beside him "What about what?"
"Are you going with someone to prom?" One of the others at the table asked. Oh so the conversation had drifted there.
Before Wes could answer no, he was going to be too busy trying to gather evidence to expose Fenton someone else at the table went "I'm pretty sure he wants to ask Fenton to prom"
Wes' brain blue screened for a moment but when he saw everyone at the table nodding he was immediately snapped out of his stupor "wha- NO! Of course not! Why would you even think!?" Wes fumbled but then Kyle put his hand on Wes' shoulder.
"Bro, no offence but we all know you have a crush on Fenton and that you're just using your conspiracy theories as an excuse" Kyle said while looking at Wes sympathetically.
"I don't- I'm not using anything as an excuse, Fenton is Phantom! How can you guys not see it!?" Wes said, he was pointedly ignoring the heat he felt rush to his cheeks.
Another person at their table just shook their head in pity "Oh you poor thing, still in denial about your feelings. You know well still accept you no matter your sexuality right Wes?" They said and Wes heard his brother mumble something about how sad it was Wes thought ghosts were real.
At this point Wes was left completely speechless at the way all his friends seemed to agree with the outrageous notion that he had a crush on Danny Fenton. A crush.
Wes just stood up and walked away with his tray of half eaten slop. He could hear his friends sighing over how hopeless and oblivious he was.
It didn't stop there though.
Later that day at home Kyle, Wes and their older brother Easton were in the living room together quietly doing their own things. Kyle doing some homework, Easton texting someone and Wes looking over all the pictures he had gotten of Phantom after the fight earlier that day, unfortunately all were too blurry to make out anything Wes could actually use as evidence.
Then Kyle broke the comfortable silence.
"Hey Easton, you think you can give Wes some advice for asking his crush to prom?" Kyle asked, not even looking up from the algebra equation he was doing.
If Wes had been drinking anything he would've done a spit take, instead he settled for just staring at his brother in growing horror.
"Hmm? Crush? Oh you mean Jazz's younger brother?" Easton asked as he looked up from his phone. Wes already knew that Easton was good friends with Jazz Fenton but he became even more horrified by the fact that he had immediately connect the 'crush' Kyle had mentioned to Danny Fenton.
Kyle just nodded and Wes was still too shocked to say anything as he looked between his brothers.
"Well, you can never go wrong with chocolates and just straight up asking" Easton said with a shrug before looking back down at his phone.
Finally Wes regained he ability to speak "NO! I don't have a crush on Fenton!" Wes exclaimed.
"Wes you shouldn't be embarrassed to ask for help. I'm your brother, you can't really hide the fact that you have a huge crush on Fenton from me" Easton said simply and some part of Wes was thankful that neither of his brothers are currently looking at him because he knew his face was probably almost as red as his hair.
The larger part of Wes though was shocked and horrified by what his brother had just said.
Not for the first time that day Wes just got up and left without another word.
The rest of the week didn't fair any better.
Anytime Wes inforned his brothers or friends that he was going to tail Fenton to finally expose that he was Phantom they just rolled their eyes before going "Are you finally going to ask him to prom?" And everytime without fail Wes would turn bright red before stomping off in whatever direction Fenton had ran off to, muttering under his breath about how he did NOT have a crush on Fenton.
Finally, Friday he snapped.
"WHY!? Why does everyone think I have a crush on Fenton!? I thought it was obvious that I hate him!" Wes yelled after Kyle had off handedly asked if he had asked Fenton to prom yet.
"Duh, it's because you're pretty much infatuated with him" Kyle stated like it was obvious.
"I'm NOT infatuated!" Wes said.
"Then what do you have to say about all those pictures you take of him? Or following him and his friends around? The fact that you have an entire notebook filled with little facts about him that no one else would care to notice?" Kyle pointed out.
"That's all evidence! It's me trying to expose that he is really Phantom!" Wes argued.
"Uh huh. Keep telling yourself that but you can't live in denial forever bro. I mean why would you need to keep a catalogue of his interests or have so many photos of him just being normal and not at all 'ghostly' " Kyle said while making air quotes "that stuff can't be used as evidence so why still keep it?"
"Because! Be... because..." Wes stopped. Why did he keep all of those things? They weren't particularly helpful in exposing Fenton so why?
"It's cause you like-like him. Prom is tomorrow so I'm sorry to say your denial made you miss your chance to ask him out" Kyle said while patting Wes on the back.
Wes once again stood from the couch and walk away, up to his room and slammed the door behind him.
He spent the whole rest of the day just laying on his bed, staring at his ceiling. He went to prom the next day because some of his friends insisted he couldn't miss it.
For most of the night he had felt numb, especially as he watched people dance and talk and laugh together while he practically glued himself to the wall.
Then he spotted Fenton and Wes was hit again with his brothers words 'it's because you're pretty much infatuated with him'.
Wes hated to admit it but Fenton actually looked good. He wore a white dress shirt with a dark green bow tie and black slacks. It was simple but he pulled it off quite well and Wes couldn't help but notice how the flashing lights of the gym reflected off of Danny's ice blue eyes. How the constantly changing angle of the light highlighted his face a hundred different ways and none of them looked unflattering, at least not to Wes.
The music was loud, he could barely hear people standing right next to him so of course Wes couldn't hear what Danny and Sam were talking about on the other side of gym but Danny seemed to laugh at something she said and Wes couldn't tear his eyes away. He could almost imagine the laugh in his head, light and easy becoming a soft chuckle towards the end.
Wes looked down at the plastic cup full of punch he held in his hand. He could practically smell that someone had spiked it.
He soon found himself stumbling out of the gym because everything was so bright and loud and he needed more space between himself and Danny, definitely more than just a gymnasium's length at least until he figured out why the heck he felt his face flush when he thought about Danny's laugh.
So that's how Wes ended up sitting on the cool tile floors of the school's empty hallway. The lights were off so it was dark but the smallest bit of light poured in through the high up windows front the street lamps outside so it wasnt pitch black, even if it was hard to make out any details of his surroundings.
He didn't know how long he sat there staring at the swirling cup of liquid in his hands.
Eventually he noticed movement out of the corner of his eye and he didn't need to lift his head to know it was Danny.
"Hey Wes" Danny's familiar voice echoed a little in the empty hallway, it wasn't the same kind of echo that his voice gained when he was Phantom Wes absentmindedly noted. He heard Danny sit down next to him on the cool tile floor.
"What brings you out here? Would've thought you'd be in the gym with your friends" Danny said.
Wes jostled the cup a little with his hand before gesturing to it "I think someone spiked the punch" Wes said instead of giving a straight answer to Danny's question.
"Oh? Good thing I was never a fan of punch. You good?" Wes could've sworn he heard actual concern leak into Danny's voice.
"Yeah, I only took a few sips" Wes shrugged and he leaned backwards against the metal lockers that lined the walls.
"What about you? Why're you out here?" Wes could now see Danny in his peripheral vision quite well. His legs were spread out straight infront of him unlike how Wes had his knees tucked against his chest. He also seemed to be leaning against the lockers behind them, looking relaxed against the cool metal.
"Technus decided to try and take over the DJ booth. I managed to stop him pretty quickly but I needed a breather so I came out here" Danny said, making a vague gesture with his hand.
"Hmm" Was Wes' only reply. The source of all his troubles, both old and new was sitting right next to him and they were holding a proper conversation like real people. No threats of exposing identities, no witty banter or mocking remarks.
To someone who didn't know any better it would almost seem like they were on civil terms with eachother.
What kind of terms are we on?
They weren't friends, not by a long shot. But enemies seemed too strong a word now that Wes thought about it. It wasn't like they were physically hurting eachother like Danny's other enemies. It was less literal battling and more metaphorical and figurative battling.
But after tonight would I even be able to do that anymore?
Wes couldn't just ignore the revelation forced upon him. He wasn't one for ignoring the obvious and when Kyle presented the evidence he had to admit his feelings were a tad obvious.
A comfortable silence was now between the two and Wes turned his head to look at Danny directly. His breath caught in his throat.
Danny was completely relaxed leaning against the lockers behind him. His hair was slightly disheveled, more so than usual. His eyes were closed and he had a faint smile on his face. The dim light shining in made his pale skin look like it was glowing, giving him an ethereal look. Wes was pretty sure that he could only glow in ghost form but that didn't stop the way the light reflected to make it seem otherwise. Wes also became hyper aware of the fact that they were sitting very close to eachother, if he leaned to the side a bit they would be brushing shoulders.
'Yeah, super obvious' Wes thought as he felt a blush find it's way onto his cheeks.
Wes managed to pry his eyes away and looked back down at his cup of spiked punch.
"Screw it" he mumbled before downing the whole thing.
"Hmm? What was that?" Danny asked as he peeked an eye open.
"Screw it" Wes said louder as he grabbed Danny by his collar and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
Danny froze in place as Wes pulled back. The blush stood out against Danny's pale skin and Wes knew he was probably as red as tomato as he spoke "Wanna go dance? With me?" Wes asked cautiously.
Danny blinked before a doppy smile found it's way onto his face "Yeah, sure" he said.
Wes pushed himself up and held out a hand which Danny took without a moment's hesitation.
