watching a lot of furniture and woodworking videos lately inspired me to make a nail polish shelf on a whim today. its corners are all janky and the entire thing is a bit crooked but it makes me so excited to level up in woodworking

#uhhhh me #'what does it look like' just picture a 13x13 inch mini shelf lined with nail polish bottles. it's not very impressive to look at #what IS impressive is how much real estate this simple ugly shelf (affectionate) freed up on my ikea kallax #next i want to work on my jewellery storage and mayhaps that i will document

so my mattress shopping is going great... this ikea one looked good (and felt good in store) until i read the reviews:

Nothing makes me want to light all my belongings on fire and walk into the sea like trying to tidy up

#I feel like I’ve been in a constant state of ‘trying to tidy up’ since I moved in here #I hate that I have so many hobbies that require so much storage #it’s not even that much! just a half dozen big bins worth.#but it makes me feel like a huge lumbering inconvenience #also I feel physically shitty and I can’t tell if that’s stress or im getting sick #and if I get sick now of all times I am going to blast myself into outer space #also a bunch of little things are pissing me off #we talked about getting more storage for upstairs months ago #and talked about getting some ikea kallax shelves #and instead aneki got similar shelves off wayfair #except the thing that’s nice about kallax is they’re BIG and also you can use the vertical or horizontal #so now I have inadequate shelves and also idk where to put them so other things are accessible #and I’m not really able to move furniture around #which I fucking HATE by the way #I’m so tired. I’m so tired.

Quick info: I'll be back soon with liking and rebloging more content.

Been busy putting all christmas leftovers back into the attic and clean parts of my flat as well as building my pc together too. Still need to configurate it so its best usable.

And there's a few other things to do but I'll be back here asap.

VP ist still at pause as I want to play Horizon Forbidden West on my new PC first (I almost played through on ps4 tho) before heading back to CP77 and the blorbos, just to see if the pc is alright when I game.

After that I can finally redownload current CP game with all updates needed and all renewed mods bit after bit and go back into it. It only makes sense to me when I see the pc has no problems as its an own build with no 'professional' helping.

But I have a bit stuff left to post in between so yeah :)

#thoughts #heading to ikea now #I decided my pc needs to sit up higher #can't place it on my desk #currently its standing more or less underneath the table but #bruuuu it looks to cool to just sit there #I want to look at its cool colors #so I'm gonna buy a kallax for it!

Cosytober 2024 Day 9: Book

I am late again. Something about being chronically ill and going from hospital to hospital… But yeah, I am not proud to feel so overwhelmed with life right now. It is what it is.

Tomorrow is another hospital day. And the day after that another… Let’s just say it keeps me busy 😅

For today’s prompt I chose to do not just one book, but an entire cubby of my new KALLAX bookcase, featuring a few of my favourite books.

Of course it wouldn’t be complete without Halloween stringlights. 🎃💜

I will try to share more beautiful artwork from other Cosytober participants tomorrow. 🧡

either yesterday or the day before i had a cup of coke i brought into my room to have a little drink while i was gaming or something but at one point i go to drink and i see an empty cup on my desk and i go huh well. i thought i had more drink that’s weird anyways i just found the still half full cup on a bookshelf adhd strikes again and claims a victim (my drink)
