I’m a white neurodivergent and mentally ill trans man from Ohio who has survived multiple forms of abuse. That being said, I’m currently in a happy long term and long distance relationship with my trans girlfriend who is in Germany. I want to save up for our wedding and moving in together, but right now rent, food, psychiatric medicine, and transportation are taking priority. My serving job has been cutting my and my coworkers shifts and the shifts I have had have been significantly less profitable this year than the previous two with this employer. I am working with my coworkers to pick up additional shifts and working personally to find a new job entirely. Finding a job in which I can openly live as male however has been challenging and my job’s recent change in management has made my need for work and funds far more urgent. As of today (November 20, 2023) I am $350 behind on October’s rent, I have not paid November’s, and I am not hopeful for the following months. My savings are depleted from paying what I could of rent debt.

Some things that make you neurodivergent also inherently make you physically disabled! But not all of them do! Which is why this is a venn diagram and not any other sort of chart!

If you have a brain injury, you're both neurodivergent and physically disabled!

If you only have ADHD, you're neurodivergent and ablebodied!

I'm Xel and I live in a society! I think there's a solid chance you do also! So you may relate to the profoundly crappy thing that happened to me and that I once again need a community assist.

I lost a temporary job that was supposed to turn into a permanent job in June because no one there felt safe enough to retire. Only two of us in the apartment were under 50. One of the crew was over 70. Three were chronically ill/disabled. No one felt safe enough to leave in order for me to stay, so I was trained for basically 6 months for nothing.

I have survived on savings from that job until this point, but I'm at the point where I cannot pay rent. I'm looking into getting help from sources more local to me but the internet has always felt like people who cared about me more than the people I share DNA with, really.

Many of the social services that I was signed up for expired the day that I was supposed to be told that I would be a permanent hire, and since that didn't go down, now I have to start it all again from the beginning, and there are gaps in my security net.

I tell you all of that just to say that I am actually trying to do things, I'm not here to just beg and coast along on some sort of lavish lifestyle where I, uh. Keep living in this dodgy apartment with my cat.

I don't want to bore you with an itemized list, but like 2,000 US dollars would get me through September and October without being worried about it like every 3 minutes. My rent is 700 and change, if you would like to know that. So I'm looking for like September and October rent and money to renew my driver's license, pay a few utility bills, buy a bag of cat food, and refill my medications.

If you have the notion to toss help at an internet pal or the extended reblogged acquaintance of an Internet pal, as is more likely the case, probably, that would be super rad of you.

I'm an artist! You could get things with images on them from me! I sell buttons, prints, and commissioned illustrations if that's your thing. My commissions are going a bit slow as of late - I only recovered from being not really able to walk like 2 months ago, and so I'm doing a lot of catch up like everywhere else in my whole life and trying not to spend too much time at a desk since it aggravates the spine thing that was the problem in the first place.

To be honest, it would be a greater help to me to just receive some Aid rather than full-on commissions, but I completely understand feeling fishy about people getting something for nothing and also feeling bad for being a charity case on the internet, so I'm not opposed! If you want to chat about that, I have a commissions post on the side or top of my blog depending on where you're looking at this!

Ko-fi contains my buttons and is a good place to toss digital dead American presidents if that suits you. I will get hit by some PayPal fees in this process but, I'm willing to call that a call for help on the internet tax.

The rain was pouring down with no regrets. It had been like this for a few days. And still, the bar business was booming. It was a cold Friday evening in October and Eden was done. She had been on her feet since around six in the morning and she just wanted to cuddle herself into her blanket on her small couch at home.

It wasn’t like she despised her job at the bar, but she just couldn’t feel her feet anymore. She had been pouring beer into glasses for five hours straight and there was seemingly no end. Every time she thought she had a second to herself, the next person ordered something.

On the light side, she also really hadn’t had the time to think about anything outside of work, which was the exact reason why she went for the job. She had been living in Los Angeles for about three months now. Three months of none-stop working. Three months of keeping her mind of reality.

She was doing better than she had originally thought.

As she was giving a woman her change, she noticed how the door opened. She always noticed when the door opened and she surely always noticed him. A young man in his early twenties entered the bar and shook his head for a second to get rid of the excess water in his hair. Eden felt like she could breathe for a second.

When the man lifted his gaze again, he quickly was met with Eden’s exhausted but welcoming smile.

“Eden!” The man beamed. “Thank God, you are here. I thought, you weren’t working today.”

“I’m always working, Nick.” She answered the man, as he approached the bar and set down on one of the chairs. He leaned a bit towards her with a smug smile on his face. “The same as usual.” – “Everything for you, Nick.”

She poured another beer into the glass before turning back to him and setting the drink in front of him. She didn’t even have to tell him what it cost, the money already laying on the counter, “Keep the change.”

Eden smiled to herself. Her day just got better.

“How has your week been?” Nick asked her, before sipping on his beer. Eden sighed.

“Pretty good.” She said, as she always did. “Yours?”

“A lot of stuff with the band.” He answered.

Right, the band. She knew he was the drummer of this metal band. Sometimes she forgot Nick was somewhat popular.

Eden nodded, before being called to the other side of the counter to yet pour another beer. When she went back to Nick afterwards, he was quick to gift her a sweet smile.

“What are you doing tomorrow?" Nick asked her interested.

“The same as always. Cuddling on my couch and watching some movies.” She answered him and he looked shocked. “But it’s your birthday!” – “That is the reason why I’m doing nothing out of the usual.”

Nick shook his head. “It’s also Halloween, Sunshine.” Eden smiled a little at the nickname Nick had given her other the last couple of weeks. She knew it couldn't be further from the truth, but she enjoyed the image Nick seemed to have of her in his head.

“Don’t make it even worse than it already is.” Eden breathed out, not even sure if Nick heard it over the noise that filled the room.

Eden hated her birthday. It was a hard reminder of the time just slipping through her fingers. To her, it was even worse that she was also born on a national holiday. And if that wasn’t enough, she also had her name tied to said holiday. While her name was representing some kind of delight or place of pleasure, her parents had chosen that name for her, because they thought it sounded mysterious and spooky. Fitting for Halloween.

“Oh, come on.” Nick exclaimed, snapping her out of her thoughts. She blinked at him for a second, waiting for him to continue his sentence. “Enjoy yourself for once.”

Eden rolled her eyes. As much as Nick was a delight to her, she also hated his happy spirit in moments like this.

“Okay, hear me out.” Nick said, when he saw her facial expression. “A good friend of mine is celebrating his birthday tomorrow. You should come. This way, nobody will focus on you, you can enjoy my company outside of work for once and you’re out of your little hobbit-house for once.”

Eden tapped her fingers against the counter and started to think. It had been about the fifth time that Nick tried to get her to do something with him. Since now, she had always turned him down. Not, that she didn’t want to see him, she just was scared. She liked being alone. She liked being to herself. She didn’t even speak to anyone outside of work, except her sister and her parents, but even that contact was strongly limited by her. Nick was the only one she would call somewhat a friend.

Eden ran a hand through her hair and then over her face. She was going to regret this. She just knew it.

“Okay… Just once.” She gave in and Nick clapped his hands together in excitement.

“Fucking finally!” He exclaimed. “I was really starting to think, you hated me.”

“I do not, and you know that.” She reassured him before taking another order. When she was ready with the customer, Nick’s beer was empty. She allowed herself to look at the clock that was hanging over the entrance of the bar. Her shift would end in half an hour.

“So, where should I go tomorrow?" She asked Nick, who was still smiling to himself.

“Give me your phone number and I’ll text you the address.” He answered her and reached his hand out, waiting for her phone.

For a second, she simply looked at his hand. He was getting bold.

She sighed in defense and pulled her phone from her pants to hand it to him.

Right when he handed it back, she felt a hand on her shoulder. Her boss Michael looked at her. “You can go. Anna will be here in a second.”

Eden nodded, before looking at Nick again, who stood to his feet, also ready to head out.

“I’ll see you tomorrow.” She exclaimed, before Nick nodded at her with a smile and left.

“The guy is cute.” Michael said to her, and she smiled a little. “Yeah, he is also a total pain in the ass.”

Michael only shrug his shoulders, before wishing her a good night and soon Eden was in her car.

It didn’t take her long to reach her apartment. She had been lucky, getting a flat close to her work. When she reached her front door and opened it, she sighed at the familiar sight of her home. Things hadn’t been easy the last couple of months. After moving to the other side of the country, she was just happy to have some peace again. She liked not living in that old house anymore, back at her hometown. Everything reminded her of her pain back there.

Not even twenty minutes later, she fell onto her couch, a bowl of instant noodles in her hand and some sitcom playing in the background, when her phone vibrated. Three messages from an unknown number.

She opened them.

?: Hey, here is Nick.

?: The party starts at 8, you have to come in a custome

That's when it hit her.

it’s a funny story really! i first got the idea for a christmas centric horror thing when i went back to the midwest where my family lives for winter break. on my break i went to this odd little place called house on the rock in wisconsin. i love it because it’s got a lot of weird things in it like a ton of dolls and orchestras that play on their own and it naturally has this reputation for seeming creepy and unnerving. even though it’s weird it’s a very beloved place with a lot of history behind it, as someone with a huge love for weird tourist traps and amusement venues and themed places etc it’s one of my favorite places i’ve ever been. i usually go to it during the september or october months because it’s just a perfect eerie place and really gets me in the spooky fall atmosphere, but this time i went in december, and it was decorated for christmas. but i don’t just mean there were a few christmas decorations here and there. like, there were thousands of santa decorations just everywhere. and this is a huge building. SEVERAL buildings make up the whole complex. and literally everywhere you looked there was something christmas related. it was just a very surreal atmosphere going into this place that felt like entering another dimension only for christmas memorabilia to be constantly surrounding you at all times, like just the sheer amount of christmas decorations was creepy in and of itself. being in that type of environment is what gave me the idea to make a horror story themed around christmas, and toyhospital organically developed from that. ill go get the pictures and reblog this post with it just so you know what i mean :)

OMI NOTE happy early early halloween! i wanted to drop the masterlist for this in case anyone wanted to be on the taglist, but i won't be publishing until october rolls around! this whole idea started with mermaid leehan LOL then i wanted to do something inspired by i do - (g)i-dle and i thought about woonhak.. then all the ideas spiraled, but i genuinely am really excited for this. i might do other halloween posts but for now this is all i have planned hehe. p.s. titles and synopsis are subject to change >&lt;

otherworldly human woonhak + alien reader everything was unfamiliar to you, trapped on a planet where you weren't supposed to exist. was your life nothing but a myth to appeal to the curiosity of people different from you? even so, the strongest people still required protection from authority. he gave you a home in a foreign place, as well as a warm feeling in your chest that you couldn't quite distinguish.

LOVELY AND OFF-COLOR PERSONALITY SEPARATED HER FROM SITE'S STABLE!

Bree is simply, if not in an overstated manner, a Smoking Sweetheart (and, yes, Smoking Sweethearts was the name of a brief and ill-fated iteration of an SF website in the TLS/Twinkles Little Stars of Kentucky, U.S.A. family from many years ago!). Smoking Darling and Smoking Honey works just as well and are equally appropriate descriptive titles for the super star from USA Smokers (Arizona, U.S.A.)! Delightful personality who always aimed to please in her 52 projects for site web-master/web producer Clif!

… well, a friendly and accommodating personality can get most folks pretty far if they aim to accomplish tasks that require cooperation with others. Bree was this way while on the set for Clif. Brought her Marlboro 100s, unless the theme of the video project focused on another brand, as well as her "can-do" attitude. Thirteen group projects indicated that she could take direction well, interact pleasantly with others and was confident enough not to prompt herself to try to steal all of, or any of, the scenes. Our Centerpiece video is from our December 17, 2023 The Photo of The Day post featuring Bree. That POTD garnered a mere 13 positive responses ⏤ "likes" or re-blogs ⏤ which indicates Bree has no business being associated with anything that bills itself as Hall of Fame. We disagree, hence her selection for this prestigious post on our network! Would say she is a candidate for the SF Hall of Fame, as a seminal star for USA Smokers, one of the elite SF websites in the Greater SF World Community scene. Though many consider her beautiful, Bree's "imperfect" nose might prevent her from being promoted as a Smoking Goddess. Any way you look at it, Bree is one of the preeminent SF models/actresses in the SF World. We reward that status by selecting her for our The Video of The Month | Hall of Fame division for March 2024. Bree earned Honorable Mention recognition for the "unofficial" official Top-25 all-time favorite SF models list posted on vs120shound in January 2023, one of 47 highlighted in "The List" (26) and HM (21) along with USA Smokers stablemate Kristi for HM (Quinn, Preslie, Mayze and Willow were in the Elite 26).
