So some things has happened this month

You may have noticed I wasn't on Tumblr lately, well that's because the truth is, I've been sick this week and I guess you could say I'm a redditor now? Anyways so thankfully the grandma issue is over and eventually my problems with me feeling ill lately will be over too at the end of this week. 100 sub special will be tomorrow. By tomorrow I should be done thinking of what to do for it and work on it all day.

UPDATE 04/20/2024: Wasn't able to do it today because I should today be well again from being sick. I'll reschedule it again to tomorrow.

As it is completely allowed to write a Sunny story for this Four Walls contest thing, I have submitted an offering to Rob's crypto scam site.

What I've done is re-written the little S.I.N.N.E.D. System one-shot I wrote last year to take place in Paddy's instead (so it qualifies as a "bar story," and something new) and I've taken out anything "Sexually suggestive" (bc apparently that's not allowed).

I've reasoned that, while I would personally never relinquish my rights to anything original, it's not like my thousand words here can even stand alone outside of the IP of Sunny. I mean, it completely relies on it. So I'm not losing any creative rights I could have claimed anyway, there's a pretty high chance R(CG) get led into reading a little Macdennis fanfiction, and there's actual money on the table. I'm not sure there's any other way you could legally profit off fanfiction.. other than something like this.

Fuck it. Whatever. Rob thinks his metaverse shit is happening but it's flopping so hard they need to use fans to get their companies a smidge of engagement, so I will take their plots and their characters and give them a lead in to gay porn (bc if I don't "win," I will be adding 3k words of smut to this thing and publishing it to Ao3) and never use his site again.

I would like the gay zoomer protection money to become a reality, but simply the art of being able to submit Macdennis fanfiction in response to their marketing bait does it for me.

I just scrolled 600+ posts on here and can I just say, this site is a lot more entertaining than twitter. In less than 12 posts I saw Stranger Things smut, REALLY GOOD furry art, a pic of someone with a bloody nose, people welcoming Redditors, discourse on punk patches, boobs, some girls art that I may go buy a piece, a recipe for strawberry cookies, a pic of a kitty in a hoodie, a really attractive guy, someone bitching about the state of the DC universe, and more boobs, really nice ones too.

And I don't feel exhausted from all the casual hate and meanness I felt doing the same thing on Twitter. I feel like I'm home. A lil place that shows me all kinds of strange things, that'll be even stranger tomorrow. (Yeah there's haters on here but it's so easy to just block and ignore em.)

the way kakashi snuck up on Itachi and Obito makes me wonder if he was really gone before when Naruto and Sasuke reunited w Sakura... Lol

It felt important while writing Kakashi to underscore how terrifyingly competent he is. Obito's overpowered (not by, like, late stage Naruto standards, but by early Naruto standards he definitely is), but he demonstrates that by navigating the world like he's a video game player with cheat codes. He does whatever he wants with no consideration of if it's dangerous or not (save, obviously, if Tsunade's in front of him - and even then he notably wasn't actually afraid for his life). That's how we feel his strength as a reader. Kakashi very nonchalantly flips that by putting Obito off-balance and casually one-upping him in The Ninja Arts. Hoodwinking Obito a little makes Kakashi feel like a truly powerful character in a completely different way than Obito does.

It's fun! Writing Kakashi as a very powerful person first, I think, provides important context for all of his other character traits - lazy, easy-going, humorous, disconnected, passive, passively suicidal, fragile. I want the reader to be constantly questioning him and wondering what he's avoiding or diverting - so I'm glad that you were even wondering about that! Thanks for reading!
